Hello! I saw that you were one of the more well known reverse 1999 players so I had a question, should I pull for Melania or Druvis III? Im so confused because I want them both 🥺
Hi there! Alright: both Melania and Druvis III are great characters, you just need to know what you're team currently needs.
Based off, Druvis III is a great petrification unit to control enimies for 1 to 2 rounds. She's a great dmg dealer and petrification unit.
Melania is a Burst DPS- similar to Lilya, where her kit is designed so she is most effective and does the most damage with her burst which also stacks. I have her, and she's a pretty handy dps unit in my opinion.
Both characters are great, and it's completely up to go to decide what character you want!
However, secretly I hope you pull for Melania [if you need a pretty good dps and burst dps] because I just like her.
Thank's for asking. Please remember that I am not a professional gamer. I just play video games way too often.
Hope you get whoever you're pulling for!

I know! I've learned my lesson, I let someone else told me what to do and my life changed completely and certainly not for better. I've learned some stuffs from you definitely.
Indeed. Make your own decisions, driven by logic. Not by what other people demand from you or tell you to do. Those people are not the experts of your own life, but you are. And they won't be the ones to live with the consequences of the choices they influenced in your life.

💫 Small Steps, Big Progress ✍🏼
Learning can be an intimidating task, but it doesn't have to be! The key to making progress is getting yourself into the right mindset. One way to do this is by starting small and making the entry into learning as easy as possible.
So how can you start small? Begin by dedicating just two minutes to learning. Use this time to scan the page in front of you and get an overview of the content. Then, start analyzing the material bit by bit. Remember, progress is progress, no matter how small it may seem.
Don't put too much pressure on yourself to make huge strides all at once. Instead, focus on taking steady steps forward. Try increasing your learning time gradually - from two minutes, to fifteen minutes, to half an hour. Before you know it, you'll be well on your way to achieving your learning goals.
Above all, be kind to yourself. You're learning for your own benefit, so there's no need to be too hard on yourself. With a positive attitude and a little bit of patience, you'll be amazed at what you can accomplish!

First Date: Is There Any Kind of "Perfection"? . #blog #blogger #blogging #post #thought #love #relationship #couple #couplegoal #fun
You are single. As a person with no partner, you are in the middle of the hunt of the perfect prey. Written in this way, love looks like being in the jungle. Well, love is not actually that far. However, let’s say your hunt was successful and you found an interesting person. You went to this person and you magically started to say something actually pretty interesting. At the end you change the…

For those of you on hormones replacement treatment (HRT) Testosterone;
a shaving kit makes a great and natural way to store and travel (where legal) with your testosterone. Going to a friend's house? Bam, it's natural to have a shaving kit. Or I found emptying out the hard case of a set of old hair clippers. If you carry needles and you are stowing your needles, I recommend using a hard case of some sort. I've had the airline break my syringes/ needles before, and when you have to ask a pharmacy that doesn't know, they may be hesitant to give you any needles without knowing the medication you are on.
Do research on where you are going if leaving the country, make sure you have what you need (if you can) to be able to have legal possession in that country and any other country where you may stop or another potential area to explore.
Keep yourself safe, it's always good to keep a note from the doctor and your prescription history.
If you, for some reason do no longer have your testosterone, missing a dose or two will not cause any issues (I was told this by my family doctor).
Also, it's a good idea to perhaps take your vial and put it safely in a carry-on. They will not let you take your syringes (if they have needles attached, they will not let these on your carry-on).
It's good to have a hard case for long distance travels, otherwise a shaving bag works well. Find a more padded one if you can, and that closes securely.
I like to keep all my things together (Needles, testosterone, alcohol/alcohol wipes, and cotton balls/pads.) So that if you ever need to leave in a hurry you have to only go to one place and grab one thing.
I try to buy syringes with needles by the box. They cost me about $0.25 each and I get 100 in a box, all for $25.
It is also important to get a proper sharps disposal. You can usually ask the pharmacy and they will give you one. (In Canada I believe they are free).
About injection,
Unless instructed how to properly by a health care professional, I would not use your thigh for intermuscular injection. A great place, and the least painful I have found is in your gluteal muscles. It is important to rotate injection sites/sides. Give the muscles a break, especially if you need a dose weekly like I do.
Try to get air out before injection
Make sure you pull back the plunger to make sure you do not inject into a vein. If you pull the plunger and you see blood, do not inject. Find another location.
Do not use a needle more than once if possible (during a single injection, you can use attempt a few times), try to get it right the first poke, and it will hurt less.
The more a needle is used, the more it actually starts to spur at the tip, which means it's going to be harder to poke yourself, and it can be more painful
Do not share needles
Dispose of your needles properly by using a sharps container. Return it to the pharmacy when finished and they should give you a free exchange for a new one.
Do not throw needles out in the trash even with the cap on it can still be dangerous. I've personally seen (had) a needle peirce through the cap, have gotten stabbed.
Try to minimize air bubbles in the needle. But if you are scared of air bubbles. My cousin is a nurse practitioner, and she told me that it takes a lot more air than that empty syringe can hold to cause an embolism. But it is still important to minimize bubbles just to be easier on your body and help better absorption. So, a couple of tiny little bubbles are okay.
Make sure you are using a sterile area to place your things.
Make sure your hands are clean and sanitized.
Afterwards, press and slightly massage the injection site for at least 1 minute to help the testosterone absorb and to stop the bleeding.
The rule of thumb if you ever forget where to inject into your butox, upper and outer area of your gluteal muscle (so upper and outer buttcheeck).
Before you poke yourself, I find it helpful to press with your finger/alcohol pad and find a nice area, I usually do it as I apply the alcohol to sterilize the area. I find it helps me get it right the first time.
Any other questions? Let me know!
Do not inject yourself unless you have been properly taught how.
Do not fool around with your dose, more is NOT better
It may take a few years to fall into the safe/average hormone levels areas or what arrangement you have discussed with your prescribing physician.
Be careful! I am not a physican, always listen to the professional and be safe!
Stay Golden

I have total aphantasia (literally no ability to mentally visualize, at all) and want to commission art, but am a bit self-cincious of my inability to "fully" describe characters/settings. Do you have any advice or tips to help make sure I've covered all relevant details?
maybe you could find relevant visual references? lots of specific refs would help the artist see what you want without a detailed description i think! if you cannot visualise yourself, just find images that look like the idea you want the artist to portray

Flyfish should be wiped out as soon as possible!
It’s easy to get overwhelmed out there, so Flyfish can get hard to reach.
If you feel like you can’t manage to do it on your own, call for your coworkers! It’s never bad to ask for help.
And if you see someone struggling, help them! It’ll be worth it in the end.
Keep your cool out there, and help each other out as much as you can.
Especially during high tide, it can get crowded. And the Flyfish certainly don’t help…

sometimes I feel like I should not look towards Tony Soprano as an example of a Good Manager for my worksona, but "those who want respect, give respect" really could fit right in with the quotes from the Chicago Basketball Coach Book that Sydney was reading in The Bear and I'm reading now in real life

hello! i was curious about the meaning of the lily of the valley in victorian flower language. i see that some places the meaning is "return to happiness" while others list it as "return of happiness." could i use both meanings interchangeably, or is the second meaning the correct/most accurate one?
Hi there,
according to our google sheet lily of the valley has the following meanings
lily of the valley
return of happiness (shoberl 1839; waterman 1840; the flowers personified 1847; tyas 1869; diffenbaugh 2011)
the heart withering in secret (edgarton mayo 1843)
modesty (durmont 1853)
sweetness, tears of the virgin mary, happiness, humility (victorian bazaar)
None of these is more true/right/correct than the others. Unless perhaps your story plays during the 19th century in one of the above mentioned years. Otherwise pick the one that suits your story best, as it’s anybody’s guess what book/list your character might encounter and what is potentially written in there.

hey relationship side of tumblr,, i need some help---
ok so, this happened a few days ago (around 2-3 days) but it's still on my mind and i'm still iffy about it
ok so, a little explanation beforehand, i am a genderfluid abro person but usually just say i'm enby and pan (those are what i would consider my main gender/sexuality) and my bf is a cishet man,
a couple days ago, me and my bf were hanging out with some mutual friends, a majority of my friends including the friend group me and my bf share is all cishet men that are really big allies, and randomly, during a conversation about siblings, my bf said that he was deliberately misgendering his AFAB enby sibling because his sibling apparently hates him, when i told him that was messed up, disrespectful, and transphobic, he tried to defend himself by saying that his sibling would do the same to him if the roles were reverse and that it was a joke, during the conversation he was repeatedly calling his sibling "she" and "sister" as if his sibling was not enby at all, the convo happened nearing the end of lunch break at school so it fizzled out and got forgotten when we had to go our separate ways for our classes, but it's been on my mind. my bf is my biggest ally, when i came out to him as enby he switched over to using they/them as if he always had, and always corrects people who misgender me since i have social anxiety and fear being seen as rude for correcting people who misgender me. nearing the end of the conversation, i related my bf calling the transphobia a joke to saying if someone was doing fatphobia and calling plus-sized people really mean names and then said it was a joke trying to get off scott free because my bf would be considered a plus-sized person, he said that was fair then we went to our classes.
me and my bf have been dating for over half a year (around 7-9 months, i forget) and i really love him so i don't wanna break up with him but this really threw me off and idk what to do.
edit: me and my bf have never really had an argument or argument-type thing before because me and him are both really respectful with each other and try to stay away from arguments by talking out our problems, which is really what happened here but not exactly

i just opened my ask box for requests, and I've gotten some that are really vague and I don't know how to respond to them(?) do you any advise?
I'm new to writing for the one piece community, so I thought asking a seasoned and well respected professional such as yourself would be my best bet.
thanks <3
“seasoned and well respected professional” had me dead omg
i’m more than happy to help though! keep in mind that those are my personal learnings only, what works for me can be wildly different for other writers and yourself (and in the end it’s all about figuring out what’s best for you)
you don’t have to pick up every request. you don’t have to pick up every request. you don’t have to pick up every request. set healthy boundaries with yourself and others.
that also involves writing down rules for what you write and what not; and simply yeet every request that doesn’t follow your rules. if a person doesn’t bother to read your rules, don’t bother to write to write for them either.
personally, I’ve had my regular requests closed for SO long because i often found myself drained by them — because i felt guilt for them sitting too long in my inbox, for not being inspired by them, for simply not vibing with the prompt and the chars… you get it.
clear your inbox regularly! this request that has been sitting there for weeks, guilt-tripping you for not being picked up yet but you just don’t feel it? free yourself and delete <3
in the end requests are just that: requests. not a to-do, not an important duty, not causing any harm if it doesn’t get written. and if anyone makes you feel bad about that, feel free to yet them too because you deserve to be respected and acknowledged for writing fun things for others in your free time. it’s supposed to be FUN.
if you’re a recovering people pleaser like i am, let me tell you a secret: most people (including myself) forget that they send a request within 48h lol. so don’t feel bad when you hit that delete button on a request.
if you still want to respond to a request that’s too vague — just let the person know exactly how it is! maybe like: “hi, thank you for the request! unfortunately this is a bit too vague for me to work with, sorry. feel free to send another one with a more specific prompt and i’ll see what i can do!” (yeah i’ve dealt with customers in the past why do you ask)
it’s more than fine to be picky with requests! every writer who i know is. at the end of the day you should write what you want; don’t let yourself be treated like some kind of writing machine one puts a prompt in and expects a fic within 1-2 business days. you’re human and you deserve to be treated with respect.
this got so long oops. but i hope it helps a bit! and please feel free to share your works with me, i’m always happy to discover new talents in this community! <3
