What he usually does is he just goes around and asks the monsters their opinion on pop culture stuff. And let's say for this post's sake that both vine and omegaverse was created earlier in the 2000s rather than the 2010s.

One day he posts a vine asking Kevin "are you an alpha, beta or omega?" And Kevin is like ???? "Like the greek alphabet? Probably a Kappa, since I'm Kevin" cut to a picture of Kevin from a photoshoot with the biggest celebrity smile on and the words 'KAPPA' and underneath in smaller letters 'he's Kevin'

Next victim is Aaron. Nicky asks, Aaron looks annoyedly at him and says "I'm ym", "What's ym?", "your mo-" video cuts to an edited picture of Aaron looking like he's pregnant next to a small Nicky (only Nicky hasn't used a baby picture, he's just shrank a picture of himself as an adult), caption reads "OMEGA"

Nicky gets brave so he goes and asks Andrew who is just minding his own business. Nicky asks the question and Andrew responds with "I'm carrying" and makes a move to take out a knife from his sleeve. Cut to a blurry photo of Nicky running for his life, Andrew in the distance with a sharp and shiny object in his hands, caption reads "We'll be right back with our regular programing"

Last vine from Nicky is Neil. He's fixing his racquet or sth, Nicky asks "Are you an alpha, Beta or omega?" "What?", Nicky repeats the question, Neil is obviously not paying attention so he says "the first one?" cut to an edited picture of Neil in a forest, the full moon behind him and 'ALPHA?' on screen.

Other teams start copying the trend, Cat post's a vine asking Jean the same question but it's Jean after practice, "is this one of your kink-" jump cut and we can hear Cat saying "Just answer the question". Jean looks deadeyed at her standing behind the camera "I am tired of your incomprehensible american lingo is what I am". Cut to a still of Jean, a cigarrete edited on his mouth and a beret on his head, and the word 'FRENCH' in cursive.

The vines go viral. No one is happier than Nicky and no one is more miserable than Kevin whose KAPPA , he's Kevin, reaches worldwide audiences.

Who after his sons were born him and his family moved to Riverdale to start a new start. Quickly he people in Riverdale begin to realize he is the father of his twin Sons who got mixed reactions but he doesn't really care because all he cares about are his own children their safety thinking that he doesn't need a another Alpha in his life until he come across Archie. Who Archie surprisingly falls in love with the Omega reader loving how he takes care of his sons always imagining him as his mate but never know how to ask him until one day the reader was stressed since he has no way to pick up his sons from daycare because of the bad weather that day and his parents are out doing business as Archie realized and decide to help him giving him a ride to the preschool and help him pick up his sons who after that day it become a daily thing where the two will pick up the reader's sons and do something fun together. After a couple of weeks Archie finally asked the reader out who the reader accepted knowing that his sons love Archie so the sign to give it a shot. After some months they become official as everything was going well until the alpha that fathers the reader's Sons finally showed up causing trouble who Archie stands up for the reader which caused a fight between the two Alphas which cause both of them to go into the hospital. As the reader apologized to Archie that he bring him into this mess who Archie Comforts him telling him that he doesn't care as long as him and his sons are safe and that he would do anything for them. Riverdale was supposed to be a fresh start, a chance for Y/N to leave behind the painful memories of the past. After his Alpha ex left him and their twin boys, he packed up their lives and moved to this small town, hoping to find peace and a semblance of normalcy. The twin boys, Jasper and Leo, were everything to him—two tiny bundles of joy with laughter that could light up even the darkest of days.

The first few weeks in Riverdale were a whirlwind of unpacking boxes and trying to establish a routine. Y/N threw himself into being the best father he could be. He enrolled the boys in day-care, joined the local parents’ group, and tried to get to know the other families. While many of the neighbours extended warm welcomes, it was a small town, and secrets had a funny way of spilling out.

Some residents recognized Y/N as the single dad of twins, and the messages came from all sides. Curiosity swirled through Riverdale like a constant breeze, accompanied by mixed reactions. While most were supportive, Y/N couldn’t help but feel the prying eyes of judgement. But in those moments of vulnerability, he held fast to what mattered most: Jasper and Leo.

Looking after the boys kept Y/N busy. But after a long day, the exhaustion often settled heavily in his bones. The thought of allowing another Alpha into their lives felt daunting. He had loved before—deeply and completely—but had been left alone to weather the storm of single parenthood. Now, he was determined to focus solely on his sons’ happiness and welfare.

Then came Archie Andrews.

He had no car, and his parents were out of town for business. The thought of walking in this downpour to pick up Jasper and Leo from day-care felt impossibly daunting.

As he paced his apartment, a faint knock at the door interrupted his spiralling thoughts. When he opened it, the sight of Archie standing there, drenched from head to toe, sent confusion rushing through him.

“Y/N!” Archie exclaimed, shaking off the rain like a soggy puppy. “I saw the weather forecast and came to see if you needed help. I can drive you to pick up your boys!”

Y/N hesitated, torn between feeling grateful and the constant reminder of his reluctance to allow anyone into their lives. Did he really want to rely on someone else again? But as he saw the genuine concern in Archie’s eyes, he felt the weight of his pride battling the reality of the situation.

“Um, yeah… that would be great. Thank you,” Y/N replied, trying to keep his voice steady.

The car ride was both tense and comforting. Y/N’s heart raced despite the ease of the conversation. They chatted about Riverdale’s quirks and local hangouts, but Y/N found it hard to ignore the way Archie’s casual glances made his stomach flip. It felt strangely wonderful.

When they arrived at the day-care, the sight of Jasper and Leo running to greet him was worth the world. With Archie by his side, Y/N couldn’t help but feel a sense of delight as the boys excitedly recognized their new friend.

After picking them up, a spontaneous idea struck Y/N. “Would you like to come back to our place for some snacks? I could really use the company—and I’m sure the boys won’t complain,” he suggested, half-embarrassed.

Archie’s grin widened, and how could Y/N have known a simple invitation could change everything?

As weeks turned into a routine, the boys grew to adore Archie, and Y/N found solace in their little family growing closer. Each day meant picking up the boys and spending quality time together, whether it was building fortresses made of blankets or biking down the nearby trails.

Yet beneath that camaraderie blossomed something stirring in Y/N’s heart. The more time he spent with Archie, the more he realized how he had begun to imagine a future where they could be more than just friends. He saw in Archie a gentleness and strength that beckoned to him, softening the barriers he had built over the years.

Finally, weeks turned into a couple of months, and one sunny afternoon while Jasper and Leo played in the backyard, Archie mustered the courage to approach Y/N. “You know, I’ve been meaning to ask you something,” he started, clearing his throat.

Y/N, cautious but curious, waited for the words that would surely change everything.

“Would you like to go out with me? Just us? A date?” he blurted out, a hint of apprehension ghosting over his expression.

Y/N’s heart thundered in his chest, and a smile spread across his face—a smile filled with warmth and hope. The boys were playing nearby, oblivious to the moment that was unfolding between their father and the Alpha who had quickly carved a place in their lives.

“Yes,” Y/N answered, his voice barely above a whisper tinged with disbelief. “I’d love that.”

Days turned to weeks, and soon they were officially together. It felt right, bringing the boys along for “family days” where laughter and joy filled their small home. The connection between them deepened, fortifying Y/N’s belief that perhaps he could trust again, and that maybe Riverdale was not just a place for new beginnings, but for new chances at love.

Omega Andrew and Alpha Neil make more sense.

Omega Andrew, being taken advantage of from the early years, hating his self and never letting anyone even near his Omega.

Alpha Neil, just like Nathan, hating this part of himself. Mary, hating Nathaniel's Alpha and trying to beat it out of him. Neil, never letting himself turn to his instincts.

I saw a lot of people recently saying they purposely skipped the entire Openbound sequence because of Hussie's self-insert alongside like Meenah being interested in Karkat and characters like Meulin encouraging it

but that like doesn't make sense to me, because if they're going about Homestuck by skipping all the potentially uncomfortable portions, then how are they going about reading the comic in the first place?

I think my favorite part of this is how those are, frankly, pussy-ass reasons to skip it. Hussie's Author Avatar sucks on purpose, always, and Meenah is textually in the wrong there. She has a very poor grasp of consequences and the concept of what is right and wrong, it's a big part of her character. It's why her whole relationship with (Vriska) exists, which is also textually immoral, is handled and addressed as such, and paints Meenah as being predatory, intentionally or not, for chasing after someone so much younger than her who is, just... So vulnerable, mentally. Honestly, if they're skipping over the entirety of the Openbounds just for Meenah's weird obsession with Karkat, then did they skip over her relationship with (Vriska), too? Because that was very solid, fascinating characterization for both of those characters. And, again, paints her as creepy for doing it, because... She is. And it was a part of the "main comic", so to speak. What did they do about that? Is that fine? Did they skip all of those pages, no matter what? What's the limit here? Is this specifically an aversion to the concept of abuse in a relationship, period? Did they skip any page circling the relationship between Vriska and Tavros, or Gamzee and Terezi? Is it specifically an aversion to abusive and predatory age gaps? Did they skip all of Doc Scratch's pages and interactions with all of the girls? Is it specifically an aversion to an adult sexually abusing a minor? So, did they skip Dave Strider's entire intro, which is thickly soaked in the fact that he's getting abused, including sexually, by his 30+ year old brother?

Everyone has a right to be uncomfortable about anything, but the author intent is clear here- Meenah is in the wrong, and anyone supporting her actions is also wrong. This kind of makes criticizing the inclusion of her actions into the storyline... Well, bullshit, frankly. Not liking the inclusion of abuse because abuse as a baseline makes you uncomfortable is not a criticism, it is a statement of preference, and with that I have to gesture towards the entire rest of the comic, because Homestuck is full of that very same kind of abuse, and it is bad and graphic every time. Criticism of the inclusion of abuse within a storyline has to be about the handling and execution of that abuse within the confines of the plot, and in this case, and all other cases, I think Meenah's abusive tendencies are outlined pretty clearly as being a bad thing. If you read her actions as an endorsement of being a violent, selfish, predatory bully with basically no concept of morality or consequences, you either are illiterate, didn't actually read any one of the pages she was in and got your opinion from someone else, or you are reading in bad faith on purpose. She is literally a version of Her Imperious Condescension, which is, like, one of the main fucking villains of the comic. Hussie's Avatar is also wrong, and you should hate him. That is the point of Hussie's Avatar. His role in the story is being annoying, weird, and wrong. Hussie's Avatar is not actually very reflective of Hussie as a person. Hussie doesn't like The Avatar. This is pretty obvious if you pay attention to him for five seconds.

So... These aren't instances of the Openbounds being written badly, they're instances of the readers being unwilling to engage with something that could even just potentially be uncomfortable despite that same thing permeating throughout the rest of the damn webcomic and also getting their opinions from other people, uncritically. Sigh. Homestuck being full of weird uncomfortable plot beats is... Literally fine. It's normal, it's handled pretty decently as a baseline, and phenomenally at other times. It's made for adult people who can think critically about these things. A lot of those uncomfortable aspects were... You know... Intentional? There's a point to Meenah creeping on people younger than her, and it's a deliberate one. Skipping the Openbounds for it is stupid horseshit. Doc Scratch already did that. Bro Strider did that to Dave and people love that guy. I ask gently for people to grow a spine. Think for yourself. Read something yourself, unbiased, before casting judgment. Good lord.

YAYYYYYY I LOVE TALKING ABOUT ANDREIL OMEGAVERSE. so many people wanting me to talk about my interests lately this is so #yaoiful for me. i will always take the chance to talk about my omegaverse plans thank you <3 the next planned one shot is an andrew character study focusing on his first rut with neil :) this would be set after the other two fics i posted, sometime in his 5th year and neil's 4th. under the cut bcus im rambling

i have a lot of feelings about andrew and specifically about how his sexual trauma manifests within their relationship. Obviously a large part of it is his need for control to protect himself from being hurt again (which we see through him not receiving initially, the boundaries he sets around touch, etc etc) but i think his fear of hurting neil and being the same as his own abusers is an even larger hurdle for him. This is actually the whole reason i hc andrew as an alpha. tbc i'm also a fan of omega andrew, but i think andrew's abusers being alphas and then him presenting as an alpha is another way to mirror his canon struggles with his sexuality after the abuse he went through.

I don't think i've actually stated it explicitly in my fics, but nicky and aaron are both omegas. I did that specifically because we see andrew say that he doesn't care about how others perceive him (calling him a monster, psycho, fearing him in general) but i think being the only alpha and then being punished/feared/misunderstood for it by his own family in tandem with his own fears is just. A Lot. i've mentioned it before but in my au/worldbuilding andrew going on the drugs was a consequence of aaron testifying against his character (lowkey revenge for tilda's death). like andrew retaliating bcus one of his packmates was injured would've been fine bcus he's the head of the pack, but bcus of the severity of it and aaron's testimony he gets labeled feral and put on the drugs. like, sorry andrew but that shit would STICK with you idc that you think you're above caring about being called a monster.

its part of the reason neil's refusal to believe he's a monster, refusal to be afraid of him, and neil's inability to be commanded is so important to andrew. because neil trusts him but andrew trusting himself is a long road. and i think it's very easy to see this when you compare the people closest to him in tfc (wymack, renee, kevin) and the multiple instances where they DON'T trust him. meanwhile post columba neil might hate him but he really does go all in on that i trust you aspect of their relationship. so you have andrew being like okay so neil is the outlier and consciously or subconsciously i am agreeing with everyone else in that my self control is untrustworthy. that's why i have neil joining his rut happening way later than everything else, it's not necessarily andrew's fear of being hurt by neil (i think by this point in their relationship he's secure here) but rather andrew's fear of losing control of himself and neil suffering the consequences. it's probably going to kick off with some jealousy/slight self hatred on his part to mirror my last fic in the series before we start getting into the Real Shit. however i have it slightly outlined but very little actually written

Hi! I was browsing your blog (sorry for the spam) and it caught my attention that at certain times you referred to Equius, Hussie and I think also Mituna with the pronouns She/Her, I want to be aware of why, at first I thought it was because you saw them as transfem but then you used them in hussie and I was very confused

I'm sorry if maybe I didn't understand the context, sometimes I get lost with words in English

I've never personally referred to Mituna with any pronouns other than He/Him. He's just some cis guy to me. A very safe cis guy, but a cis guy nonetheless. I am aware that some people headcanon Mituna as TransFem, I just don't share that headcanon, personally. His gender is that his Bisexual Awakening happened while watching Fight Club.

I see Equius as TransFem. I think it'd be an interesting direction for her character, if she was ever given the chance to grow up. Her deep insecurity with her place in this world and her most masculine traits constantly negatively impacting her and textually being disabilities that are never addressed as such due to it benefiting the very patriarchal empire is interesting, especially considering the fact that it's clearly hurting her and really fucking up her life.

Hussie uses Any Pronouns in real life, so I like to mix things up now and then to be respectful of that.
