What is your absolute favorite thing about Roy?

Oooh, this is a tough question, I love everything about Roy. If I had to pick, I'd say his relationships with younger people.

Obviously, the biggest example of that's Lian. Being a single father's such a compelling character trait, especially in a superhero setting, and it adds so much depth to his character. Even when Lian's not actively on-panel, the way Roy reacts to the world around him is constantly influenced by her existence. Hands down some of my favourite Roy panels are the ones where Roy forces himself to keep fighting when everything seems hopeless because otherwise Lian would be alone, when he bases his decisions on making Lian proud, or when Lian's in any sort of danger*. Lian shapes who he is, both as a hero and a person, and erasing her was maybe the stupidest decision DC ever made.

However, his relationships with younger heroes are also so endearing! A post by @/mysterycitrus made an amazing point about the significance of having a recovered addict being seen as a support figure to younger people, so absolutely go check that post out. Grant's the most obvious example, (which, a little bit of shameless self promo, but I wrote a fic of him and the Harpers which four people said was good so apparently it's worth the read) and the way that he and Grant interact is so telling of the type of person Roy is. Roy specifically requests Grant be added to the Titans '99 roster because he sees potential in Grant, and because he thinks that Grant wants that chance to prove himself again. However, when he realises just how much Grant has on his mind, he sees that superheroics isn't helping him so he gives Grant the chance to walk away. His relationships with Rose and Bart are also good examples of this within the Titans, and Bart respecting Roy more than Wally is one of the funniest/sweetest things to come from that era. Also the fact that Mia is explicitly inspired to become Speedy because of Roy, not just because of his accomplishments as a hero but also because of his recovery, is so sweet and an absolutely amazing message about how Roy's recovery is much more telling of his character than his addiction.

*An aside, while I hate talking about Rise of Arsenal because A) it makes me cry and B) it kinda had the same tone as a villain origin story, I do think that him killing the Electrocutioner was in character, and a good comparison point between He Who Is Incorrectly Labelled As DC's Best Dad and DC's Actual Best Dad. The differences between UtRH and Green Arrow #1 are also great for that.

5. Do you respond to comments?

Usually yes! I love getting comments as it is a more tangible reminder that there are people reading. Plus most of the time they’re nice to read too. 

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

I love writing angst but not too many of my fics have angsty endings. I like happy endings haha. I’m not sure if it has my angstiest ending - especially compared to some of my Jisbon fics - but earlier this year I wrote a Roy Kent/Jamie Tartt one-shot which probably applies (it seems like once again you’ve had to greet me with goodbye). 

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

Most of my fics have happy endings even amongst the emotional hurt/comfort. I actually think ending a fic is one of the most difficult parts of the writing process but endings I can remember fondly in particular are ‘The Tea Shop’ (Patrick Jane/Teresa Lisbon), ‘Please, Remember Me.’ (Roy Kent/Jamie Tartt) and the conclusion to my ‘i know it’s just a number but you’re the eighth wonder’ series (Ted Lasso/Trent Crimm).

8. Do you get hate on fics?

Not really… until the series mentioned above. I had a couple of haters on that because I wrote Trent as trans. 

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

Some of my fics include smut but I don’t find it easy to write so usually I either don’t include it or I keep it very vague. However, I have realised that two of my top five fics by kudos are 'E'.

10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written?

Nope. I personally don’t understand the love of crossovers. 

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Back in my Wattpad days I had a fic stolen and translated to German without my permission. Including the cover art.

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

No, but I have had some cool people beta my fics before. 

14. What’s your all time favorite ship?

I know I mainly write tedtrent now but I think jisbon will always be my ship. 

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

My only public WIP is ‘Pillow Talk’ (Patrick Jane/Teresa Lisbon) but it’s a collection of one-shots so there really is no “finishing it”. 

16. What are your writing strengths?

I think I’ve got better at characterisations. It is one my favourite compliments if I ever get it because I think it is so important to get that right, for the reader’s enjoyment. I’ve also improved at setting the scene as opposed to just jumping in with the story. Dialogue is definitely easier for me to write than this though. 

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

I am my own worst enemy. I will be writing and think ‘yeah this is pretty good’ but when it comes to proofing it I suddenly become full of self-doubt. I know I am not the best writer in the world, but it is a good outlet for me, so when I start to feel like my work is terrible, that hits me hard. It is why I rely so much on comments and knowing if people enjoyed reading or not. Just for some more motivation. 

If there are too many characters, some tend to get lost or forgotten. I have especially found this when writing Ted Lasso fics because there are sooooo many characters in that show who I love but it just isn’t possible to regularly include them all in fics. 

When I am writing, I write different sections of a chapter/one-shot and then try desperately to tie them together which doesn’t always flow well. I also then get annoyed at myself for leaving really unhelpful notes as reminders.  

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

I have done this for a few lines in fics but I couldn’t do it confidently regularly. Relying on translations apps is a risk due to accuracy. I’ve sometimes written dialogue in Spanish for my The Mentalist fics, but never large bulks of text. 

19. First fandom you wrote for?

Sherlock - back in my Wattpad days.

20. Favourite fic you’ve written?

Probably ‘All These Things That I’ve Done’ but the energy on Twitter when I was writing/updated ‘Undercover With You’ and ‘A Blue-Eyed Surprise To Come Home To’ (both Patrick Jane/Teresa Lisbon) was unmatched.

Victor Dubenich The Nigerian Job, The Radio Job, The Last Dam Job man you guys had a lot to say about this one! here goes: - he's awful but he's also how they came together - i like the actor that plays him - THE OG. mr inciting incident. my most underrated man saul rubinek. the absolute balls on this guy. might even still be out there you never know - Not only the first and the one who accidentally helped bind together a world-class team and eventually sent them after himself - twice;  but also the first echo/cast-caĺlback to the Nero Wolfe series. - He consistently thinks he's better than the crew, but Nate keeps outsmarting him anyway. Plus, the fact that he and Latimer forced Nate into calling back some old favorites, there's a number of reasons to love The Last Dam Job. I will never get over the hacking with a clam thing - Because he came back with a revenge plan and because he started this whole thing when he screwed the team over - this guy kinda kickstarted the whole thing by being greedy and selfish enough to try and double-cross not just a group of thieves, but a man who was ROYALLY screwed by the system literal months prior by using his dead kid against him. He's arrogant, but just smart enough to be a threat as of The Last Dam Job, and even then his insistence that he "knows" the team better than Nate after all these years is one of the things that leads to his downfall. Seriously, fuck that guy.

Judge Roy The Bank Shot Job He commits to the bit, okay? I WILL turn this entire episode into a western and I WILL be the black-had domineering bad guy and I WILL refuse to have any semblence of self-awareness about it at any time!

Gabe Erickson The Real Fake Car Job Matthew Lillard is great, and I absolutely loved "Nobody's plotting to kill you, you idiot!"

Jack Hurley The 12-Step Job - It was nice to see a mark that’s not a POS and have the team ‘help’ once they realised that - He was a genuinely great guy who's just a fuck up. I get it.  - He is just too excitable and honest and keeps getting into shit way over his head but is too sweet to really hate - I really enjoyed having a Mark who "redeemed" themselves to. Plus, hes a goofy character, and seeing him a second time when I didn't expect it made me double take and laugh on my first watch.

Monica Hunter The Three Days of the Hunter Job - she's horrible and interesting and you get the most satisfaction from seeing her go down. also the bit where she's being interrogated by the army and she's like "it's okay I know that there *totally aren't* any secret bases ;-)" and the guy is so tired and like "yes that's bc there aren't any secret bases" and she's like "I know you have to say that ;-)" and he's right - rip girl you would have loved qanon - I love conspiracy theorists who don't even really believe in the awful stuff they make up (+ it's a terrible human being with the face of aunt zelda)

William Quinn & Tobey Earnshaw The Juror #6 Job He was a fakeass hippie played by Brent Spiner. She was trying so damn hard to be a chessmaster it was embrrasing. Can I make it any more obvious?

Eddie Maranjian The Order 23 Job Man there’s a few marks I can’t help but feel viscerally bad for cause of how the crew preys on their fears and neuroses that they can’t help. So a little sympathy, and also like, affinity crimes are nasty fucking things but in terms of story it’s a nice change of pace from the usual white guys playing chess from their lofty towers

May I introduce the Tumblr DC community to one of my two favorite Batfam AUs I have created. Bruce Wayne owns a hotel/museum near an ocean cliff and still has a chronic adoption problem but doesn’t fight crime. (If anyone writes this you can make it to where heroes still exist, the Batfam are the inly no capes)

WE still exists but it isn’t run by Bruce it is run by Lucius because back in the 60s Thomas and Martha bought the hotel and wanted that to be their legacy. They still die the same way but Bruce puts all his efforts into running and blossoming the hotel which was his parent’s dream project.

I’ll get back into the hotel in a minute I’m taking about the kids now

Dick is gotten a similar way, he visits the Cape with Haly’s Circus, his parents die because of faulty wiring sold to the circus by Zucco and Dick becomes an orphan. Bruce just so happened to use his one night off in a while to go see the circus. He keeps thinking about Dick and ends up adopting him. He helps Dick and the Circus bring Zucco to justice and sues the hell out of him and shuts down his business. (Adopted at 8))

Jason was found living in one of the shut down rooms of the hotel. Because his dad left and was in prison and his mom od. So Bruce treats him like a wild animal and starts to leave food out on a regular schedule until Jason gets comfortable with him and he adopts Jason. (five years younger than Dick)

Tim was the son of two wealthy archaeologists who were gone 11 out of the 12 months. Bruce met Tim because he liked to come into the museum and take pictures of the museum exhibits and hotel architecture and shoreline which he would develop and give copies to Bruce. So he opens his house to this little boy with a penchant for photography. Until one day Tim’e parents call Tim telling him that they are staying in Egypt permanently because the archeological dig is producing wonderous results and they’ll be hiring him an around the clock sitter. Only for Tim to wait three weeks and no one shows up. They went so far as to fire Ms. Mac but never hired a sitter for their son. So he goes to Bruce in tears and explains everything, because this is it-his parents finally did abandon him, and Bruce sues them for custody of Tim. (Three years younger than Jason, adopted at 7)

Damian was the result of a relationship Bruce had in college while studying hotel management and hospitality. Talia is the daughter of a hotel conglomerate owner who is currently trying to buy Bruce’s hotel so it can be torn down and Ra’s can built a new hyper expensive hotel in its place. Damian was sent to live with Bruce to try and get Bruce to have Damian inherit the hotel so Ra’s can get it and destroy it, but that backfired because instead Damian falls in love with the hotel and his new family (reluctantly) and wants to see the hotel and museum flourish, not tear down this historical piece of architecture to replace it with a soulless hotel only available to the wealthy elite. But something available to everyone that families vacation to because there is so much history and beauty in a thing that has stood for centuries. So Damian turns against Ra’s. Due not that while Damian and Tim do have a sibling rivalry it is not as vicious and cutting as it is in canon. They love each other they just don’t mesh well while in the same room. And yes, Damian still has his variety of pets (7 years younger than Tim)

Cass came to the hotel with her “father,” David Cain, who went to the Cape for business, and just ended up leaving and forgetting Cass at the hotel. He was still abusive and Cass had trouble speaking but he wasn’t “turn Cass into the world’s greatest assassin” abusive. After Bruce finds Cass, he sues Cain for parental custody and then ruins his life unrepentantly. (Couple of months older than Jason)

After Martha and Thomas died, Alfred took over managing the hotel while Bruce was still growing up and while he was getting his degrees, now he is the grandfather to Bruce’s many kids and helps to keep them running and cared for while they run and care for the hotel. He’s also the one that helps the new kids transfer into the life of running a hotel.

Barbara is the daughter of the Police Comissioner still who became friends with Dick and works, first part time at the museum/hotel and then full time. Same with Steph and Tim (1 year older than Dick)

Cullen and Harper work at the museum, Helena works at the hotel. Carrie does both. Duke is the newest acquisition. Only, his parents disappeared and no one has been able to find them yet. So Bruce currently had temporary custody of Duke who lives at the hotel with everyone. (Harper is a year older than Tim, Cullen is a year younger than Tim, Carrie is the same age as Jason, Duke is a few months younger than Tim)

Each person has different jobs. (Dick is concierge/check-in, Jason does guided history tours of the hotel/museum/grounds, Tim works in financials because he deals with the least amount of people, Helena, Carrie and Steph are both maids, Carrie also does janitorial stuff with Cullen, Barbara works hotel check-in with Dick, Barbara and Harper work cashier at the gift shop, Duke doesn’t have a job yet because he is still dealing with the disappearance of his parents, Damian does every job to see where he fits in best.

JARRO IS THE FAMILY PET STARFISH THAT TIM ADOPTED WHEN HE FIRST JOINED THE FAMILY AND RESCUED FROM BEING EATEN OFF THE BEACH

The hotel is still fully staffed with not-batkids, like grounds keepers and other hotel cleaners and janitors.

Location time!

I’m turning Gotham nicer and changing the geography of the city.

The hotel Museum rests about 200 yds from a cliff that overlooks a beach. There is a well maintained stair case put into the cliff for people to walk down, as well as a longer gravel path that follows the cliff edge down to the shoreline. It is frequented by seals, sea lions, and in the distance, dolphins and whales. The hotel it’s self has about 100 or so acres of land and a long drive but it is technically within walking distance to the city. And it’s a normal coastal town with a port and touristic areas. Kinda eerie at night when the fog rolls in but that’s part of the charm of the NorthEast.

Selina is just Bruce’s friend in this. She is Helena’s mother and Bruce was a surrogate for her. She decided she wanted a baby and Bruce offered to be a donor. So Selina had Helena and Bruce is part of her life but not as her dad, which was the agreement. Selina takes care of the stray animals on the grounds and favors the cats.

Clark is a reporter that was tasked to right an article on the hotel and it’s history, became good friends with Bruce and brings his family (Lois, Jon, Bizarro, Kon, Kara, Lena, Chris, Ma, Pa, and Lex) on vacation to it every year. Lex and Clark are divorced husbands that left on good terms and are friendly enough to coparent their son, Connor, who was made the same way as canon but less hush hush and illegally, Kara is Clark’s cousin and Lena is her fiancée, Lois is his wife, Jon and Bizarro are their two biological sons (Bizarro has autism), Chris is their foster son. Bizarro latches onto Jason in a way that he hasn’t before and always loves coming to the hotel, Jon and Chris are best friends with Damian, Connor and Tim are long distance dating.

Collin, Maya, and Maps are Damian’s best friends from school (Damian has a crush on Collin) and he’s trying to convince them to join the hotel staff like his siblings’ friends but they are a) too young and b) not interested.

Roy has all of his problems as in canon and gets help for it, so as a way to try and bring the family closer, Oliver and Dinah arrange a vacation to the hotel for them Roy and Lian. As a stepping stone kind of thing. Get away from daily stress. Roy is resistant at first until he and Jason hit it off and start talking and Jason talks sense into him and they strike up a friendship turned romance.

The Flashfam visit the museum diring a countrywide roadtrip and mad the stop because Bart is a history buff and wouldn’t stop talking about it the entire trip. He becomes fast friends with Tim and is the only person to ever get a Tim Wayne history tour. No matter what Kon tells you he is super salty about it. Wally and Dick were internet friends and used the roadtrip as a way to be able to meet up.

Thad is the obligatory complainer who doesn’t want to stay in a musty old hotel.

Ivy is the main grounds keeper and is in charge of the native wildlife sanctuary most of the land is used for, as well as taking care of the native plantlife and lives in town with her girlfriend, Harley. Harley helps the kids prank Bruce.

Harley is a children’s psychiatrist hired by Bruce to help the kids deal with their various traumas. Her coming to the hotel for sessions is how she and Ivy met.

They started dating between Dick and Jason and Dick talks up each of them to the other, but each individual kid that comes in think they’d be cute together (since they are both professional while working there isn’t immediate proof that they are dating. But they will flirt with each other if they see each other) and it’s basically a right if passage to try and convince their siblings to help them get together and then try and set them up on their own and find out the hard way that they’re already together. They love seeing all the different way the kids try and set them up. They tend to go along with it until either the kids realise or they take pity on them.

Their favorite was Damian’s where he set up an entire romantic dinner at the hotel restaurant and Dick managed to slyly convince him to set it on a certain day that turned out to be Harley and Ivy’s anniversary.

Alfred is the head chef for the hotel, making room service meals and the breakfast buffet line up. Jason will help him out if he isn’t busy with other things.

Victor Fries and his wife hold an ice cream social ever summer at the hotel with all the ice cream flavors they came up with over the last year.

Edward Nygma, famous escape room designer, is hired to make an escape room themed on the hotel and museum that is built on the grounds near the main building.

Another ritual that starts, begins with Tim, where the older siblings convince the newest one that the hotel is haunted and Jason takes them on a “haunted ghost tour” of the abandoned part of the hotel (the part that is too dilapidated and run down to remodel safely) while the others are stationed at different parts of the hotel and grounds to run whatever scenario to scare the new kid. The only one that hasn’t been done to is Cass because even after several years she still jumps a little too hard at loud noises. But one time Jason accident closed a door a little too harshly while Cass and Tim were doing something and it caused her to jump so hard she knocked over Tim and started crying. They were contemplating whether she was strong enough to do it or not and that cemented that she wasn’t.

Tim and Cass are nearly inseparable and are commonly referred to as the Wayne Twins. For Halloween they decided to go as each other.

Thanks!! I have to be honest that I don't read a lot of dc fics lately bc a lot of what's posted on AO3 doesn't appeal to me tbh. But I do have some favorites that live rent-free in my head. I hope you enjoy!

There will be a three-day festival held in honor of the crown prince’s name day!

So of course, no one can shut up about it and everyone’s making plans to make their way to the capital, one way or another.

Gotham, after all, isn’t known for its decadence. Celebrations from the capital are few and far in between. But, it’s also well known that the king absolutely dotes on his children. The has the makings of being the biggest feast anyone has seen in their lifetime.

“Huh,” Roy says. He’s in a farming village when he hears, about five days ride from the capital if he had a horse, which he does not.

Or the one where Roy is a knight errant, Dick is the crown prince, and there is a three-day celebration.

A fond smile spreads over his face. He remembers Dick writing that as his own contact name in Joey's communicator the first time he and Joey exchanged numbers. I actually really love Roy’s character. It turns out to be very humble actually and he has some insightful and lowkey poetic that lines i love. Besides that he’s hilarious. 

SO the whole time i was wondering how they’d get out of the whole “same day forever”-thing, if they were to. and I LOVE LOVE LOVE that they had such a logical way out of it: science. Not anything cheesy like “a true love’s kiss” or “you learned your lesson”. Pure logic and Sarah’s hard work to get there. Huge fan of this.

2020 Creator Wrap: Favorite Works

I was tagged by both @primeemeraldheiress and @irolltwenties, and I am so sorry for the delay in doing this!

Rules: it’s time to love yourselves! choose your 5 (or so) favorite works you created in the past year (fics, art, edits, etc.) and link them below to reflect on the amazing things you brought to the world in 2020. tag as many writers/artists/etc. as you want (fan or original) so we can spread the love and link each other to awesome works!

Naturally, I can only really work with things that I’ve actually posted for this, but I have to admit that one or two of the threads @kiseiakhun and I have done in preparation for TTGB might have deserved to make the list. At the start of quarantine, we were... very busy. The follow-through on editing has been lacking, and I apologize to everyone patiently waiting for updates.

That said, I actually did a lot more posted writing than I realized, I think. I ended the year with an AO3 word count of 232775 for the year, which is wild enough on it’s own, but considering there has been so much more that i’ve written that’s not finished yet? I’m pretty proud of myself.

1. go on and shatter (i’m all you need)

this is, uhhhh, my most re-read of my own works. no shame. i fucking love this story. it has so many of the things i love, because writing it was pretty much entirely an endeavor in self-indulgence. i know the main kink (pet play) isn’t for everyone, but it’s... one of my, like, top three, and i was so eager to try my hand at it - and so, so happy with the result. the sequel has been in the works for a while, and it bums me out that my inspiration keeps coming and going, but it’s largely because i have two very clear scenes i want to write in this verse, and i’m still sorting out how to blend them. i’ve also been hesitating on something i want to include, but... well. again, self-indulgent as fuck.

2. so deep your dna’s being messed with my touch (so real, fueling the fire until we combust)

i really, really enjoyed having the chance to write this darker, morally-ambiguous version of dick. i also enjoyed getting to try my hand at piss kink, and i’m pretty happy with the plot. i still think about this ‘verse all the damn time, and i definitely have intentions to do more with it - i’m just caught on the dilemma of whether or not i can convincingly keep jason ignorant to dick’s manipulations.

3. they say we’ll rot in hell (but i don’t think we will)

i have wanted to write some joyfire for so long, and i was so thrilled by how well-received it was when i finally gave it a shot. one of my favourite comments from last year was on this fic. i might not write in this ‘verse again, but jason, roy, and kori’s dynamic is one that i really do want to do more with. i just. love them so much?? it was fun to explore my views on them.

4. stars are in your eyes and they're saying you want me (all these things we're doing, does it make you feel sorry?) - chapter 3

it probably seems weird to specify a chapter here, since the entire wip thus far came out in 2020, but chapter three was originally written to be a standalone within the TTGB series before kis and i decided it made sense to merge it into stars. i’m stupidly happy with the entire fic so far, but it’s also largely kis’ writing and not mine, so i can’t take the credit here. but this scene was important to me because i have a lot of headcanons surrounding jason’s past in the ‘verse, especially pertaining to his time being catatonic in gotham, and this fic was my first chance to start really playing with it. i enjoyed writing this, and i was proud of myself when i finished it. i still enjoy going back to re-read it from time to time.

5. if i should be so bold, i'd ask you to hold my heart in your hand - chapter 6

this wip started in 2019, but chapter 6 came out in early 2020, and i was crazy proud of it. it wasn’t actually something i intended to write originally. i’d considered tossing it into a 5+1-style sidefic, but i realised it needed to be included in the main story. it was important to me to explore jason’s trauma, and i think that skipping over this heat would have made it much harder to show the progression of his trust in his new family. it also ended up serving as a good place to work in tim starting to think about his and jason’s biological differences, and i think it gave me an opportunity to start humanizing janet a little, too. i didn’t intend for this to focus much on her outside of the role of master-planner, but this chapter helped me see that i want her to grow throughout this story, too. her scene with tim and the part immediately after may seem small, but they came to feel rather important one as i was writing them.

 Synopsis: Ally Walker’s and Scott Masterton’s lives are good until the day they wake up to find their lives have changed dramatically because the past three years have been altered.

Ally and Scott have one thing in common, they’re both sorcerers as one of their parents is from the Edios realm, a magical world ruled by a Queen who wants them both to take their assigned place under her rule.

Both refused many years ago and must now fight to get their lives back.

Starring:

Beth Risegraf as Ally Walker

Ally has been happily married for two years, having met her husband when she quit her job in telesales to start her own company using the gifts inherited from her father. A ‘finder’ she can locate lost items or people as well as choose the best people for jobs. Eight and a half months pregnant she’s happy and content until she wakes up to find she’d never quit her job, and never met her husband.

Determined to get her life back Ally knows she has no other choice but to face her past.

Arthur Darvill as Scott Masterton.

A former police officer, he has powers of a ‘thief’ able to get in and out of locked rooms as well as open any lock. Raised by his grandfather who died when he was eighteen. Scott was in a car accident two years before which left him unable to return to his former job, so he started a security company the year before. He’s also just met someone he’s growing close to.

Discovering everything has changed, he knows his only choice now is to go the one place his grandfather warned him never to go to.

Donald Glover as Max

Max is the custodian of the Book Store, the doorway between the two realms. Seemingly laid back, he refuses to give any name other than Max because “Names have power” and he is a lot more powerful than he appears to be. He isn’t happy about helping Ally and Scott but knows that whatever has been changed must be returned otherwise there could be unknown and terrifying consequences.

Roy Scheider as Kane Masterton

Scott’s grandfather who raised and taught him how to use his gifts. A teacher in the other world who trained sorcerers, Kane always told Scott that Edios was not a good place for him to be. Kane died when Scott was eighteen. Scott has recording of his grandfather’s teachings that he keeps with him and listens to it whenever he doesn’t know what to do.

Maggie Lawson as Celeste Windsor otherwise known as The Queen.

A powerful sorceress, she took control of the realm by killing her own father. She rules with an iron fist ensuring all those with magical abilities are trained to serve her but also those who have the power that could remove her are killed.

She knows Ally and Scott are the only other people who have the power to possibly remove her from her position. She changed their past to force them to return to Edios to take their place under her rule or die.

Alison Scagliotti as Tori Windsor.

The younger sister of the Queen, Tori was once her greatest supporter but is now the leader of the small resistance fighting against the Queen’s rule. Once in awe of her sister, Tori realised what her sister was doing when her girlfriend was killed by Celeste because when she was tested, it was discovered she could possibly be powerful enough to take on Celeste.

Plot:

As light shines through the window Ally Walker wakes up in a large bed, she stretches and sighs before realising something is wrong. She screams in horror and we flashback to the night before where she went to bed in a different bedroom, with her husband and eight months pregnant.

Frantic she tries to work out what happened and is even more confused when her work calls her demanding why she hadn’t shown up that morning. She heads to her storage locker where she keeps all her father’s things and tries to work out what happened.

Scott Masterton has woken in the centre of his living room disorientated, flashback shows him with his girlfriend as the spell surrounds him and changes everything. Staggering to cupboard he pulls out the small recorder that has his grandfather’s words of wisdom and tries to find something to help.

About the same time, both realise their only hope is a place called the Book Store.

 Ally and Scott reach the Book Store at the same time, they’re attacked by masked men proficient in weapons and magic. Ally and Scott manage to keep them at bay until Max appears and sends them all away using a portal.

Max explains he’s the Guardian of the main route between Earth and Edios. There are a few other rifts that some may manage to move through, but these are not easy to get through.

Although reluctant to help Max agrees to send them through to Edios but before they go Ally cries out in pain. They discover, although the past few years were changed, she is still connected to her baby. If they don’t fix things, she will lose the child and may die as well.

 Max takes them out back to a wrecked car.

It is the entrance to Edios, and Max can control where in the other realm it opens. Once he sends them through, Max picks up a phone and simply says, ‘They’re on their way.’

 Ally and Scott find themselves in a forest where they meet Tori, she explains that the Queen came after them because they’re both powerful and not under her rule. She offers them both the chance to stay with her and her small band of resistance fighters, but they refuse. Not only do they want to get back to their lives, Ally is now scared she will lose her baby.

Tori agrees to help them get into the palace.

After a fight to get them inside Ally and Scott are met by the Queen who easily brushes them both away with her own magic. She promises that if they both agree to serve her, then she will return things to the way they were, and Ally’s child will be safe.

Tori appears and tells them not to trust Celeste, that she killed their father and anyone else who got in her way. Celeste won’t keep her promise.

Ally and Scott realise the only way they can defeat Celeste is to combine their powers. They manage to defeat her, stripping her of all her powers as they do.

 Ready to undo the spell and return their lives back, Max appears and tells them that yes, they can do this, but only one of them can return home.

Celeste’s power kept the veil between the worlds intact, and only Ally or Scott have the power to do this.

Scott volunteers because Ally has people to go back to while he can build a life here. They reverse the spell and Ally is suddenly pregnant again. After they say goodbye Max opens a portal to Ally’s house where she’s reunited with her husband Mike.

Max leaves but gives her a business card – just in case.

After Credits Scene

Ally is singing to her baby boy before gently resting him in the cot. Turning she is stunned to find her father standing there. He’s there to warn her, Celeste has found a way to get her magic back. Edios is in danger as is Ally and her son.

Avantasian headcanons just for fun pt. 2 - the Scarecrow

wohoooo more headcanons! this time about everyone’s favorite emo boy: the Scarecrow from The Wicked Trilogy.

Scarecrow is, for me, the most complex Avantasia protag because of his story and his perception of the world. this trilogy is super messy and hard to decipher unless you really pay attention to the songs, and even after that, later on you might realise some things you hadn’t discovered before. this is due to the fact that Scarecrow’s perception is messed up, and in the album he basically tells the story as how he and only HE sees what’s happening so his versions might not be entirely true as we see god (Bob Catley) trying to help him all the time but he makes it seem as if god had turned his back on him and just left him. he’s also the most problematic protag in terms that you could even say he’s evil.

i think of this character as a “selfish asshole” to sum it up, but there’s actually a lot to unpack there. i’m guessing he probably has some kind of mental illness that keeps him from seeing things as they are and that makes him think everyone is against him, which turns him evil in our eyes. i could even say he has some sort of mild bipolar disorder taking into account that there’re songs where he just seems over his love interest (character played by Amanda Somerville) but right at the next moment he’s crying over her again, maybe we could talk about borderline personality disorder as well? who knows, but i really do think Scarecrow’s mental health is pretty messed up. besides, that’s what we see in Twisted Mind, where Roy Khan’s character (i like to think he’s some sort of doctor) rambles about how his perception is messed up and how he’s kind of an abomination. so, his mental health is obviously gonna affect his personality and his story, turning him into a person that can’t trust in anyone but himself and making him think he has to push everyone away so that he doesn’t get hurt anymore.

however, Scarecrow does have a heart, and this is where we talk about his love interest. that was probably the only time he felt love, hell, probably the first time he felt something positive towards anything else, and that’s where his obsession for Amanda’s character comes from, because if she doesn’t love him, no one else will. i also jokingly say he was mommy issues, but really, the only thing he really wants is someone who will take care of him and love him despite not being perfect and in that way, he’ll be able to heal.

Scarecrow is also pretty obsessed with fame, and here’s also where the “selfish asshole” comes into action. he’ll do anything to get what he wants even if that involves hurting other, mainly because he doesn’t know any better than that, because he’s alone (not really, since in all the albums he’s with Jorn Lande’s character, which is a personification of Temptation).

In other terms, I headcanon him as bisexual. he sure does show interest in women but if we take Jorn’s character as a male, this Temptation could also represent his desire for men (something pretty recurrent in Avantasia albums, though), besides, after all the things they’ve both gone through, it would make sense (specially if we listen to Promised Land). oh, i also see him as a bit of a jokester among the protags.

as for his alignment, he’s rather chaotic-evil, even if he doesn’t sees himself as truly evil or thinks what he does isn’t evil. as i said, you could say this guy is pretty much problematic during his whole story (though he gets a little redemption arc in Angel of Babylon, but it’s reaaaally small) and he doesn’t realise about how harmful everything he’s done is, not only for other people but for him as well. 

i’d probably be even MORE extense about this if it wasn’t for language barriers (i’m spanish) and could express myself better, but here’s how his relationship is with the rest of the protag crew:

Gabriel: as I said previously, Scarecrow is a bit of an asshole to Gabriel and makes fun of his beliefs, also because Gabriel tries to lead him in the “right direction” but of course, Scarecrow is a free spirit and doesn’t like people lecturing him. still, he kind of envies Gabriel because he’s really open to knowledge and all and he’s kind of dumb and can’t get a lot of things right, guess that’s another reason to why he makes fun of Gabriel sometimes.

Aaron: i guess you could say he likes him, mostly because he’s the only one who doesn’t lecture him too much and because he really tries to understand him and his feelings and get him to work on that.

Entity: he’s unsure about them at first too just like Gabriel, but they’re really helpful when it comes to him calming down after he loses his cool and stuff like that, though he does find them annoying sometimes because they will try to stop them from making any kind of heavy joke and will just try to bring peace between him and Gabriel in general, but he kinda appreciates them.

15. What ship took a long time for you to like?

There are few actually:

- From Code Lyoko, I first shipped Odd&Aelita, instead of Jeremy&Aelita which it was even canon since the beggining. I dont know, I was very young and somehow I liked a lot the interactions between Odd and Aelita. But when I got more mature, I saw that Odd and Aelita were acting like siblings, and Aelita and Jeremy were so in love, so I ended liking this canon couple a lot. 

- From SVTFOE, TomStar. This has to do with Tom’s character development during the show. They introduced him as a jerk, so obviously I didnt want Start to end with him. But season after season he changes a lot and becomes the best boy ever, so althought Starco was my OTP since the beginning, I also loved TomStar a lot. Hell, I DO ship TomStarCo trio. The three of them are the best team ever. 

- From 7DS, this is gonna sound weird, but it was Kiane and Melizabeth. Melizabeth because for the touching issue at season 1 that, I am not gonna lie, I was very uncomfortable for that time. Then, after I learned their story, that changed things. Yes, Mel is still Mel, but Eli is ok with it, and they love each other, so I liked the ship since then. For Kiane, when they introduced that King had a crush on Diane, and the last one had already a crush on Mel, I thought this ship wouldnt happen, since she didnt have the same feelings for King for that time. I found King’s crush cute but I thought he would move on someday. But then, I saw that there were hints that King’s crush was more than that ..... and later, “The Fairy King who wait in Vain” appeared. They releaved us their story ..... two childhood friends who lived and learned from each other during 500 years ..... Diane asking him to always love her ...... King having to pay for Helbram’s actions because he couldn’t save him before because of the fucking amnesia, and that meant to leave Diane living her life without him .... ouch </3!!! That was for me the most touching story of season 1! That story made us to realise Diane IS in love with King, but she just didnt remember! I saw their love was real and pure, their chemistry is totally  noticeable, so since that episode I totally changed my mind and not only I started liking Kiane, but also becoming my OTP of nnt. <3

Sorry for such a long wait. I forgot about January, so to make up for it, this is a little longer than the past rec lists. 

Mistakes Were Made by CaramelMachete Words: 7,369 Summary: Nightwing joins Jason as Robin and Batman for a stake-out. When Batman gets called away, Nightwing and Robin are unable to follow Batman's orders. They bite off a little more than they can chew. So, how much first aid training does Robin remember anyway? Jason worries that if he can't handle this, maybe he's not fit to be Robin after all. Comments: This is a great Dick ad Jason bonding fic, and I think I’ve read it before, but I don’t think I’ve rec’d it. The characterization is amazing, and it does a good job juggling the strained dynamics between Jason, Dick, and Bruce. It’s from Jason’s POV as Robin, too, which I don’t think we see enough.

It was disappointing that we didn’t get the full account of what happened in comics, and this is a great insight into what could have happened! Plus, all of the hurt/comfort and angsting between brothers is amazing.

Scatter the Heavens into Stars by DawnsEternalLight Words: 2,416 Summary: Dick is getting over fear toxin, and finds the best way to do that is work a little and spend time with his dad and little brother. Comments: Cookies!! Dick spending time with his family!!! Cookie Dough!! His family loving him!!! Dick eating the cookie dough!!!!!!! I’ve read this no less than six times since it’s been posted.

Foreign Object by audreycritter Words: 86,122 (37/37) Summary: Bruce Wayne deals with a serious illness, one that threatens the most crucial part of himself. He and the family try to cope with their own fears and expectations about it and then the aftermath. This is written partly as character study, partly as family drama. Originally posted to tumblr. Comments: I’m going to be honest and admit that I had a really hard time starting this fic. I’ve read other things from the Cor Et Cerebrum series, but I hadn’t gotten to this one since it hits so close to home. However, I read this entire fic in one night, and it was absolutely worth it. The characterization is so on point, and there’s a balance of hurt, comfort, angst, fluff, and everything else.

Okay, so I’ve read this a few times, because it’s so good. Damian’s emotions are so real and present and I feel like I’m riding or dying along with him. It’s like I’m in the story and I’m seeing everything unfold, and my heart hurts for every single one of them. For Bruce, Selina, Dick, and Damian. It’s just so good.

Every Fiber of My Being by scxlias Words: 21,376 (5/5) Summary: As much as Dick and his siblings have argued, Bruce has never budged on his "Keeping Secrets Policy". There's not a person alive outside of the family that knows the secret identity of any of the Bats. Not even Dick's boyfriend. Dick understands the need for some secrets, knows that keeping their identities safe keeps them and their loved ones safe, but when he takes up the cowl, team dynamics aren't the only things that begin to change. Comments: This is a birdflash fic that I absolutely love to death. It’s an AU of the batfamily never telling anyone their identities, and it’s absolutely heartbreaking. You can feel how absolutely alone and stressed Dick feels as the weight on his shoulders grows heavier and heavier, until he’s just about to break, and it makes my heart hurt.

Fallen Bird by Croppmar000 Words: 2,887 Summary: Something had happened, something bad. Dick was a wreak. Nothing like this had ever happened before. Batman's birds didn't just die. Comments: A YJ fic that deals with Jason’s death and how Dick reacts to it. I love that it’s Wally and Roy that are there for Dick. I just love their friendship so much.

The Joys of Fatherhood by theragingstorm Words: 2,408 Summary: Young Bruce Wayne has a chance encounter with two small children, while all of them are still ignorant of how important they’ll become to each other. Comments: This is a cute little fic. It’s probably an AU, but it’s still cute nonetheless. It’s a “if Dick and Babs met as small children and hide from their fathers as they go absolutely mad with worry” fic, and it’s the cutest thing. Especially when Bruce comes into it.

Two Dead Birds by InsaneTrollLogic Words: 29,034 (15/15) Summary: There's some lunatic in red helmet running through Jason's territory. He wants to think it's a copy cat.

He's wrong. Comments: A Jason-centric fic. I’m not usually too big on fics that don’t have a lot of Dick in them, but this is a very good fic in my opinion. Jason’s characterization is very well done, and I love Dick when he comes into it as well. Time travel stories are also one of my favorite tropes though, so maybe I just have a weakness for it. The only thing is, it ends in a slightly open-ended way, and I’m not sure if that means there will be a sequel of if it’s just how the fic was meant to end. Either way, it was worth the read.

Catch Me by TantalumCobalt Words: 1,453 Summary: He hates these nights. When he’s stretched thin from chasing leads on three cases, when he’s trying to wrap things up as quickly as possible because he’s hyper conscious of what date is approaching, when a severe thunderstorm has driven him off the streets and back to the Manor. Comments: Again, stressed, overworked, tired Dick is my weakness. And Ren does a really good acknowledging the Blockbuster situation and the effects it has on Dick.

The Bat's Crest by lilylamaire Words: 168,328 (29/?) Summary: Tragedy strikes the hero community when Bruce Wayne commits a crime so heinous even the best start asking for blood. However, as the heroes try to recover from the hit and carry out justice for their friends, a random assortment of people start acting oddly, including the current Speedy Tim Drake, a child hostage in Gotham, and a young man from an unremarkable circus amongst others. All of them seem intent on saving Bruce Wayne from the grasp of the Justice League for no apparent reason, going as far as betraying their previous allegiances.

Unknown to the Justice League, these people are equally confused. Clearly they're stuck in another dimension, but how do they get back? How did they even get here? Who else is stuck in this world? And how long will Tim's patience last? Back home, the Bat was a planetary symbol that struck fear in the hearts of criminals. In this new world, it has no meaning, save for the handful of stranded souls. Comments: Okay, so this fic is Tim-centric, and it has a lot of Damian in it, too. I was a little disappointed because I’d hoped that there would be more Dick Grayson in it, but it makes sense why there isn’t. And it's a very good fic to address the problems of what would happen had Bruce Wayne not become Batman. It kept me on my toes, and when Dick does come in, I definitely think it’s worth the wait.

All your resolve (dissolves) by animegoil Words: 5,424 Summary: Season two: Tim watches Dick fall apart. Comments: Another YJ fic. I think this is one of my favorite topics to read about. Dick was under so much stress during the time while Bruce was on Rimbor, and I don’t think it’s addressed quite enough. This fic is one of my absolute favorites to go to when I think about Dick in season 2, and it does a really good job with Tim’s POV and his helplessness of being unable to properly figure out why Dick’s so stressed. There’s a lot of levels to this fic, and I honestly think it’s some of the best writing I’ve ever read.

The Wayne Family Ghost by pupeez4eva Words: 1,713 Summary: In which Bruce realises that having a legally dead son, who regularly hangs around the family, might be slightly problematic. Comments: This fic is kind of hilarious. I don’t often read funny fics, but Damian getting in trouble for accidentally including Jason Todd in the family and Bruce having to deal with the fallout is always great.

Pixar by ChimaeraKitten Words: 3,076 Summary: Sometimes, favorite movies are influenced less by the movie itself, and more by the people one shared it with. (batfam + Favorite Pixar movies) Comments: This is literally one of the cutest fics out there. It addresses each individual kid with Bruce, and I love that I get emotions about each kid through their favorite movie. Chi does the dynamics between all of them really well, too.

Monkey by ChimaeraKitten Words: 570 Summary: Dick has a new shirt. Comments: Baby Dick is so cute and Bruce is such a good dad in this.

After a long day of interviews all Roy wanted to do was get home to his boyfriend, Shane and relax. But things don’t go to plan when he opened the front door and found a very annoyed Shane waiting for him.

Roy gathered up all his Bianca things from the back of the car before making his way up the small path towards his front door. He had left the house at six in the morning and fourteen hours later he was finally home. He had hoped Shane would have guessed the kind of day Roy had, and would have dinner ready for him. All he wanted was to close the front door behind him and enjoy a nice quiet night at home with his boyfriend.

“You son of a bitch.”

“Are you talking to me?” Roy asked confused as he looked behind him.

“Yes I’m talking to you.”Shane stood at the front door, arms folded giving Roy his pissed off look.

“Okay,” Roy nodded. He placed his bag down by the front door before straightening up to look at his boyfriend. “And what exactly have I done?”

“Well if you don’t know then I’m not going to tell you.” Shane spun around sharply and marched towards the bedroom.

“So that means there’s nothing to eat?” Roy asked.

“Go fuck yourself Haylock,” Shane yelled from the bedroom.

Roy looked around the hallway confused before he made his way towards the bedroom door. He found Shane sitting on the edge of the bed. Legs folded, arms crossed. “I left here this morning to you being happy. The last thing you said to me was I love you. The last text you sent said you were missing me. What the fuck happened here today?”

“Do you know what I did today?” Shane quizzed.

“Of course I don’t, I haven’t been here all…”

“Don’t be a smart ass with me,” Shane warned.

“But you asked,” Roy mumbled.

“Today I had the pleasure of watching some you tube videos,” Shane continued. “Do you know what kind I watched?”

“No,” Roy frowned. “But I’m guessing they weren’t good ones. I’m guessing they’re the reason for this pissy mood you’re in right now.”

“I got to watch a channel called Wowpresents,” Shane snapped. “And a little show called Really Queen.”

“Did I wear something of yours and it’s annoyed you?” Roy asked confused.

“Shane I’m seven years older than you,” Roy pointed out.

“You said my outfits were shit.”

“I told you that last week in this bedroom,” Roy frowned. “Why are you so upset?”

“You’re supposed to be on my side,” Shane answered quietly. “Of all the people out there, you’re supposed to be the one that’s on my team. You’re not supposed to be on line pointing out my faults. I have enough people doing that.”

“But…”

“And you know what hurts the most?” Shane continued. “You decided to pick ever real thing I’m ashamed of and make fun of it to the world.”

“Come on Shane that wasn’t what I was…”

“It might not be what you were trying to do, but you did it,” Shane interrupted.

“Shane,” Roy sighed as he took a seat on the bed beside him. “You know… you know more than anyone that I don’t mean any of the shit that spills out of my mouth when I’m in drag. Jesus I don’t even remember saying half that shit.”

“I’ve accepted your weird distaste for showing that you care about me in public,” Shane sighed. “But did you have to treat me like I’m just another queen to you? Like I’m nothing to you.”

“Shane please,” Roy sighed as he took Shane’s hands in his. “You know you’re not nothing to me.”

“Do I?”

“Shane we told everyone about us,” Roy sighed. “It’s not like we’re hiding. Everyone knows we’re a couple. They’ll also know that all I said about you was just jokes. Just my sense of humor.”

“Is it though?”

“What?”

“Is it just one of your jokes or do you really think of me as a talentless blonde bimbo? A Spice Girl reject.”

“I said that?” Roy asked confused.

“Not in so many words,” Shane shrugged. “You just called me an ageing twink.”

“That’s not all I said,” Roy frowned. “I mean your video was the longest one I did. Hell I had to stop just to think of things I could say. And what about all the nice things I said about you? You’re just choosing to ignore all those?”

“What nice things?”

“I said plenty of nice things about you,” Roy answered.

“Well I’m guessing they had too many bad things to fill up the video,” Shane shrugged.

Are you seriously angry about this?” Roy frowned. “About a few jokes.”

“It’s like you can’t let the public know you love me,” Shane sighed. “I mean that’s if you love me.”

“Of course I love you,” Roy frowned. “Now you’re just being stupid.”

“It’s not the first time you’ve done this,” Shane shrugged. “What about last month when we went to that party in West Hollywood. You wouldn’t even dance with me.”

“I was stone cold sober,” Roy frowned. “I never dance sober. Anyway you soon got over that when Alaska’s brother got up and danced with you. But then you do forget about me when there’s a straight man around.”

“Don’t you dare,” Shane warned as he stood up. “Don’t try and turn this around on me.”

“I’m just trying to get this to stop,” Roy sighed. “It’s all silly. We’re arguing over nothing.”

“We’re arguing because you made me look stupid in front of the whole world,” Shane snapped. “All of our friends are going to see that. My mother is going to see it.”

“You want me to call them and get them to take it down?” Roy asked. “Because I will.”

“What’s the point?” Shane shrugged. “Everyone has already seen it. I’ve already got the twitter messages asking if I’m okay. Telling me to move on because they know you’re not that into me. That I’m just some fun until you get bored. That we’re not in a real relationship. That we’re just hooking up”

“Who the hell is sending you messages like that?” Roy frowned. “If Willam thinks…”

“It’s not Willam,” Shane sighed. “Its fans. And they’re all saying the same thing. Well there are a few that are trying to make me feel better.”

“And what are they saying?”

“They’re asking if I’m okay, and that I shouldn’t listen to you,” Shane answered. “That you probably don’t mean it.”

“Of course I didn’t mean it,” Roy groaned. “Shane you know most of the shit that comes out of my mouth I don’t mean. Well unless its a Queen I don’t like. Then all bets are off, but you happen to be my favorite queen. So anything hateful I say about you isn’t true.”

“I just wish you were brave enough to say something nice about me,” Shane admitted quietly.

“I say nice things about you every day.”

“Sure,” Shane nodded. “When we’re alone. When we’re in this bedroom surrounded by walls. Then you can say all the loving things you want. But when people are watching, you have to turn back into Bianca. You just can’t let people know you have a heart.”

“I just thought you’d know it was a joke,” Roy admitted. “I mean you always laugh when I say something.”

“Because if I don’t laugh everyone will see how heartbroken I am by your words,” Shane admitted before standing up and walking out of the bedroom, leaving Roy sitting on the bed alone.

Shane lay curled up on the sofa for the longest time. The silence surrounded him. He had left Roy alone and the older man had chosen to stay in the bedroom. It was probably their biggest fight, and Shane didn’t see how they were going to fix this one. As he lay staring at the coffee table in front of him his phone began to ring. Even before looking at the screen he knew it would be Willam.

“Yes I saw the video,” Shane sighed before Willam could even say hi.

“Court, what have you done?”

Willam’s stunned voice has Shane sitting up from his position on the sofa. “What are you talking about?”

“You better tell Bianca to take that post down before her fans turn on her,” Willam continued. “That mean bitch had a bang to the head or something?”

“What are you talking about?”

“Bianca’s new instagram post,” Willam answered. “Look I’ve got to go, just tell your other half she’s crazy.” With that Willam hung up leaving Shane to look confused at his phone. Before he could think, he went searching for Roy’s instagram to see what Willam was talking about. It was the latest post.A picture of him and Roy together, with a long caption beside it.

‘I know I sometimes come off as a heartless bitch, who was raised by wolves, and mainly that is me, but there is another side to me. A side I didn’t know I had until someone came into my life. You might see the two people in this photo as Bianca and Courtney, but to me it will always be Roy and Shane. And it wasn’t until today that I realised I can’t blur the two any more. I’m Bianca so much that I sometimes forget to be Roy. Because truth be told, most people only want Bianca. It’s a rare few that are happy with Roy, and today I hurt the one person who loves me just for being Roy. Today I finally realised that I have found what I’ve always been looking for in life. For years I was desperate to find that one person who would love me and cherish me. The person who doesn’t need for me to be Bianca to have a good time. Shane’s just happy for me to be Roy. He doesn’t need the added bonuses of Bianca. He just wants the stripped down version of me. Plan old me. He just wants me, and I didn’t realise that until today. I guess like with every other relationship I’ve been in, I’ve been waiting for the time to come when he sees plan old me and he decides he doesn’t want that any more. I just didn’t know he was staying with me for the real me. That he saw that person the very first time we met. I guess I’ve just realised that I don’t have to be a clown for this relationship. I know most of you won’t understand any of this so I’ll make it clear. I am in love. Me, Roy. I’ve gotten to forty two and I’m finally in love. I want the world to know that it’s very real and means more to me than anything else in my life. Shane has given me so much. He’s made me a better person. My whole world changed the second he stepped foot in it. And no matter what I say trying to funny, doesn’t matter because it’s not real. What’s real is what I have with Shane and as long as he’ll let me, I will spend the rest of my life making sure he knows what I feel for him. Because he’s it for me. A noise from the bedroom door pulled Shane’s eyes away from his phone. “What did you…”

“I meant every word of it,”Roy answered as he took a cautious step towards the sofa.

“Willam thinks you’ve had a bang to the head.”

“I don’t give a fuck what Willam thinks,” Roy admitted. He stepped around the sofa and sat down beside Shane. “I only care what you think.”

“I think people are going to think that you’ve had a bang to the head as well.”

“I don’t want one person to ever think we’re just two people hooking up,” Roy took Shane’s hands in his. “You will never have to hear that question again. The whole world now knows how serious we are. I mean that’s if you still want to be serious with me? I wouldn’t blame you if you ran out of here and into the arms of the first buff body builder you find.”

“And break all those Bitney hearts?”Shane asked.

“That wouldn’t be the only heart you’d be breaking,” Roy pointed out. “You’d be breaking my heart too if you decided I wasn’t worth it any more.”

“Well it’s lucky I still think you’re worth it then,” Shane smiled before leaning in to kiss Roy’s lips.

“So I’m forgiven?”

“This time,” Shane nodded. “But next time…”

“Oh trust me,” Roy interrupted. “There will never be a next time. Courtney is completely off limits when it comes to Bianca’s acid tongue.”

“Well don’t go too far,” Shane warned. “I’m sure Courtney would love to experience Bianca’s acid tongue.”

“Don’t,” Roy said pulling a face. “Don’t go all lesbian on me.”

“but you want to make it up to me, don’t you?” Shane asked as he ran his hand up Roy’s thigh.

“Yes, I do,” Roy nodded. “But Bianca has nothing to do with it.”

“Bianca was the one that said it,” Shane pointed out as he pressed his lips to Roy’s ear.

“You won’t be happy until Bianca has Courtney face first into a pillow, will you?” Roy asked annoyed.

“Or bent over the sofa,” Shane smirked. “Whatever floats your boat.”

“My boat feels like it’s sinking,” Roy grumbled.

“I don’t know,” Shane smirked letting his hand go higher on on Roy’s thigh. “Your boat feels like it’s sailing just fine.”

“I have a feeling I’m going to regret ever meeting you,” Roy frowned as Shane giggled into his neck.

november! it’s a hard one because a lot of my friends have their birthdays in november, but it’s also the month of my birth! by november, it’s full on autumn already, normally with lots of rain, dark mornings and evenings, a more chilly temperature, and all the orange and brown vibes that come with the season. it’s also almost the end of the year and it usually doesn’t last long, unlike some other months!
