Parents: Father was Wiltitar, a retired Storm Captain, most well-known for retiring from and renouncing piracy and throwing his support behind Merlwyb Bloefhiswyn's Galadion Accord; met an untimely end in an alleyway mugging. (This does mean her surname should be Wiltitarwyn, and there's no good in-universe reason it's not. >.>) Mother is Keltbryda, a renowned and well-loved physician who mysteriously vanished, thought dead. Near the end of EW... Ellie discovers she was actually summoned to Sharlayan to lend her skills to the ark project. They definitely have a very normal conversation about this.

Siblings: None by blood, but she does have a childhood friend from school that she considers a sister this friend does not exist yet beyond that concept

Grandparents: A little too far back for me to think about >.>

In-laws and Other: None, really, because...by the time she marries her partners, none of their blood families are in their lives anymore either >.> (technically I think Lily's family is still alive, mom and nunh and two younger sisters, but she hasn't seen them in years)

Abilities: Surprisingly in tune with the elementals of Gridania (though not enough to be necessarily okay with them) and thus fairly skilled at white magic/conjury. After a Very Certain Event in HW, she picks up a claymore and learns how to swing a greatsword and becomes even more in tune with her inner darkness. She picks up the reaper arts for EW, then post-EW drops them and learns martial arts from Lyse and her contacts in the Fists of Rhalgr.

Flat affect — no explanation needed.

Stims: jiggling his watch, cracking his knuckles and other joints, pacing around.

This man cannot stand loud noises, though controlled loud sounds, like listening to his screamo playlist, is totally fine.

I firmly believe he sleeps like a dead person at an open-casket funeral. His bed sheet is in a straight line across his chest, with his arms lying flat on either side of his torso — Back Sleeper™️. Best believe he can't sleep unless his room is 18°C, with his bedsheets and duvet even on each side of the bed, and a fresh bottle of water on his bedside table (in case he wakes up and feels parched).

Whilst he isn't a fan of journals and diaries, Kento makes sure to regularly update his calendar on his phone, as well as the one attached to Outlook.

Spreadsheets and to-do lists, he thrives off of these. How else is he to keep up with life?

He is very aware of the fabrics and textures that make contact with his skin. This is why his wardrobe is predominantly made up of soft materials like cotton and cashmere. If he has to wear anything woollen, a lightweight layer of clothing goes underneath; he can't stand the itchiness.

Kento doesn't like mixing cold and warm food, and he tries his best to keep the food on his plate from touching each other (this doesn't apply to food like fried rice).

He irons his bedsheets and underwear — don’t ask. Kento also regularly washes his curtains and steams them once they’re dry (no creases, he hates them).

Exclusively purchases one type of deodorant; it has something to do with the smell and texture. He can’t stand aerosols because of the intensity of their smell (it gets into the back of his throat), and the gel deodorants feel uncomfortable on his underarms. Kento also isn’t a fan of perfume, though, there was one he liked that he stocked up on. Sadly, he hasn’t been able to find anything similar.

“Don’t come in the kitchen whilst I'm cooking.” — Kento to Satoru when he senses him about to step in. He can't share the space, it becomes claustrophobic.

Baking is his special interest; he has an absurd amount of information about this art form stored in his noggin. Dare I say he would own a bread encyclopaedia if it existed. Whilst bread is his favourite form of baked good, from time to time, he attempts to make confectionary, specifically those made of phyllo pastry. On the rare occasion, he might bake a pie or cake.

This man owns a lint roller because of his pet cats; he is not a first-time cat owner. Whilst his home is relatively clean, he can't help but feel the need to pick up those stray cat hairs. He doesn't want to accidentally get any in his mouth.

Speaking of his home, Kento's apartment is relatively minimalist, though the colour palette is warm and welcoming (lots of blues and browns). The only part of his home that is “messy” is one nook in his living room. The bookcase is overflowing with unread books, some sitting in neat stacks on the floor, whilst others are in cardboard boxes acting as surfaces for his potted plants. There are a few old newspapers and magazine recipes strewn on his desk, a cold cup of coffee, and two pen holders jam-packed with various dry markers and inkless pens. It's a sort of organised chaos.

He exclusively wears slippers and thongs/flip-flops indoors. He can’t stand walking around barefoot, it’s uncomfortable, and he doesn’t like his feet being cold or picking up any hair, lint, or crumbs that collect on the floor (despite his home being borderline sterile).

hi!! ive gotten a few messages asking about fic recs recently so ill compile some here <3 platonic edition

first of all we have The stranger things fic, In A Strange Land by @mrs-evadne-cake . this fic will just always be the golden standard for st fics in terms of storytelling and characterization and honestly just feeling like a better version of the show itself. it's steve-centric and focuses a lot on the relationships in his life, specifically his dynamic with jonathan and nancy post s2 with some eventual lead-up to stoncy. it blows my mind every time i read it quite honestly and i think it should be like required reading within the fanbase

i know you already said you looked through em's fics but for anyone else reading this post who hasn't read the king is dead, long live the king by @lesbianrobin ....... you should probably get on that rn if you want your life to be changed forever through the most skillful time loop fic ever written. also steve-centric and also dealing with his evolving platonic relationships with the kids as well as jonathan and nancy, it quit simply goes hard

hide on the promenade by @diogxnes is so good i literally felt like i was dreaming when i read it because it was everything i've ever wanted. it's about hopper helping steve out and providing some comfort when he's not doing too hot emotionally and physically and it's written with such a perfect understanding of both characters. every little detail in that fic is flawless and by the end you will feel like you've been wrapped up in a big warm blanket

Adventures in Babysitting a Psionic by WriterRose on ao3 (i dont know if the author has a tumblr, if someone does pls lmk!) is another one of those too good to be true fics. it's centered on what a dynamic between steve and el would look like while also touching on steve's relationship with the other kids, nancy, and hopper. it follows up on steve's head injuries (!!!!) and i think it's probably the best el characterization i've ever read. it so perfectly captures el's thought processes and walks the line of her being quick to learn while still having some reasonable gaps in information so perfectly

and okay i know you asked for steve-centric but i feel i must include feet on the ground, reaching for the stars by ProfessorSpork on ao3 because i think about it just. constantly. it's robin-centric but there's a good bit of her dynamic with steve in there. it follows robin starting before we meet her in s3 and through its events, focusing on her life and her coming to understand and embrace that she's a lesbian with some very very very emotional scenes that made me literally like weep when i read it the first time. i just Must include it here because it conveys steve and robin's dynamic so well and is also just a great read for robin lovers <3

Been stumbling across lots of posts about people using the word terf as a term for anyone they think is especially bad, someone they don't like, or just a general caricature of someone they would want to hate, and this post takes the mf cake for me. All the shit they're saying is probably made up because there's only TRAs in the comments talking about "terfs"

“with intersex characteristics” um caster semenya is very much blatantly intersex, not just “with intersex characteristics”… she has XY chromosomes and internal testes and a specific intersex condition.

also i’ve never seen anyone arguing she’s an “ugly man who probably has a little penis”, anyone who said that is purely ignorant bc the reason it took time to even know she’s intersex is bc she doesn’t have a penis. she has a typical female phenotype.

her being a lesbian and black and south african are all pretty irrelevant to the topic at hand, which is whether it is fair for her as an intersex person to compete against non-intersex women. THAT is why she’s being expected to take meds that reduce her testosterone, bc she has elevated testosterone levels (which these racists think is just a Black Woman Thing for some reason) and XY chromosomes and an intersex condition that allows her to utilise at least some of the higher level of testosterone in her body. we can argue that the assumption that she has an advantage is incorrect or based off of bad research or sth else but it’s bizarre to act like it’s based on her being black or her sexual orientation. it’s also bizarre to compare her to trans women and act like she was next on the chopping block after trans women when they actually had stricter regulations for intersex women than they had for trans women up until quite recently.

bc its finals and my brain is broken.

Satori is a stress baker. Anytime she has a big project due or anything that makes her anxious is happening, she can be found in the kitchen making the most delicious baked goods.

Satori also despises cooking. She would rather spend two days working on a complex cake that involves spun sugar and handmade chocolates than cook a pasta sauce.

Wakatoshi, on the other hand, loves to cook. She doesn't have the patience for the hours of baking or proofing involved in baking, nor does she have Satori's sweet tooth, so cooking is much more in her wheelhouse.

She also has an extremely specific diet due to her sports career and her autism, so being the main cook in the household worked out that way too.

They are generally very good communicators, but when they do fight, Satori is far more passionate and emotional, whereas Wakatoshi thinks she's more rational and tries to get Satori to relax and calm down, but that just makes her more upset.

They are a butch/femme couple and WILL play into it for the bit.

Satori (anarcho-communist that she is) thinks it's really funny to satirize housewife/sahm instagram content then reveal at the end that she's a lesbian. Wakatoshi does not get the joke but is always willing to support her gf.

Wakatoshi has an instagram, but it has 1 (one) blurry picture of Satori and a picture of a cat she saw in Paris one time. You can vaguely see the eiffel tower in the background, but that two is blurry and hard to decipher. She has like 10k followers.

She may have a horrible social media presence, but she has a very detailed and carefully maintained journal that features notes, sketches of her surroundings, to-do lists, recipes, and most of all, doodles of Satori and her teammates.

Wakatoshi is a beer girl. Satori is decidedly NOT.

She is a cocktail girlie and sometimes fine wines, but only if they're not too dry.

Satori is a lightweight. She will take a few shots and be absolute blasted. She also gets really flushed when she drinks.

Wakatoshi spends most of their nights out trying to reign in Satori and holding her hair by the end of the evening.

Satori is terrible at crafting because it requires long periods of focus that she does not have.

Satori loves horror movies, but is also a bit of a scaredy cat and has to keep Wakatoshi around so she can cling to her strong arms when she gets scared.

Any sources are linked within the text, the words with links are underlined (there are no images so the post isn’t overly cluttered)!!  Many of these are subjective and some reasonings here are not 100% accurate but I'm trying to include as much possible representation as I can. Some are very silly!

GLaDOS - bi, ace (canon)

GLaDOS is said to romantically like Chell in the Final Hours of Portal 2 (was originally supposed to accuse Chell of cheating on her with a core, Want You Gone is called a break up song, Chell and GLaDOS were supposed to sing a duet, they’re referred to as having a twisted dysfunctional romance), in interviews (in one before Portal 2 released, GLaDOS was called Chell's jealous ex girlfriend, Jonathan Coulton saying Want You Gone was a breakup song), implied in her songs ("even though you broke my heart and killed me" "I used to want you dead now I only want you gone"), and also her voice lines (reanimating the dead, being curious about Chell's behavior, forgiving her in Lego Dimensions, various things about the Companion Cube, etc). In Poker Night 2, she has a line possibly alluding to Chell, “I cheat all the time, but only with people I care about”. Not as canon but one of the former developers (sort of?) made a gay joke with her, where he reposted an image of a Half-Life crate being cut open to reveal a rainbow cake, he captioned it “GLaDOS’ secret”. For liking men, GLaDOS dates Claptrap in Poker Night 2. Jonathon Coulton, writer of GlaDOS’ songs, said about the Lego Dimensions Portal DLC that GLaDOS probably had feelings for Batman. Implying she’s asexual, GLaDOS has a cut line in the Cooperative Testing Initiative in which she says human reproduction is ridiculous (not as related but the “testing euphoria” probably relates more to an addiction than to sexual desire). Caroline - bisexual, asexual (implied)

Caroline is bisexual/asexual as she is apart of GLaDOS/GLaDOS’ conscience was built off of her, and also the possibility Caroline could've dated Cave in her time at Aperture (The writers never clarified, just saying they were never married but there might be “more of a story there”). Caroline and Cave’s art for the Steam 20th anniversary was done over a meme of a couple.

Chell - sapphic (canon)

Chell was originally supposed to have a duet with GLaDOS in Portal 2, GLaDOS also getting called her ex girlfriend (as stated in the Final Hours of Portal 2). Stated in an article by GameInformer, Chell was supposed to get married to a Turret (which was specifically called a bride, the turrets also refer to each other with feminine terms). These aren't as canon, but in Count to Three, a Valve fan-song that got approval to have Gabe Newell and Ellen McLain in it, Chell is drawn as dancing with Gordon Freeman. I’m not sure what that counts for but it’s staying. A little bonus, I headcanon she’s transfeminine because the original Portal protagonist was male before they used Chell! They aren’t the same character but I like to think they are (if the guy wasn’t white).

Turret Bride - lesbian (canon)

There was a cut scene in Portal 2 where Chell would save a group of Turrets and help them so in return they gave a Turret off to marry Chell, who was called the bride turret.

Turrets - sapphic (implied)

The standard turrets themselves are sapphic because most are girls or at least use she/her pronouns (besides Randolph,  and probably the defective turrets). They had valentines cards to each other, the Turret Wife serenade can be brought up as well.

Cave - transgender, pansexual (potential)

In Aperture Desk Job, there is a billboard with Cave's face on it with specific parts having the colors of the transgender flag and the pansexual flag. In Perpetual Testing Initiative there are lines implying (in a sense?) he could've liked his assistant Greg (Similar to how Caroline and Cave could’ve had a relationship). There is also a universe where Cave was a trans woman, meaning in a universe Cave is a trans man as he says the possibilities of universes is infinite. In Portal 2 there is implication he could've liked Caroline (they get a lot of strange implication. And once again, Caroline and Cave’s art for the Steam 20th anniversary was done over a meme of a couple.). In both PTI and the base game he makes remarks towards the hypothetical test subjects hearing it (as they're prerecorded), calling them a handsome devil or complimenting them. In the DotA announcer pack, he often makes remarks finding various characters attractive (or commenting on how characters of either gender aren’t wearing pants??). Also in the DotA announcer pack, Cave mentions having a first wife (implying he had other marriages) Also in that he says he doesn’t like Greg’s wife which if believing that Cave likes Greg then that would make sense.

Cavina Johnson - transgender (implied)

Cavina is the transfeminine version of Cave in Perpetual Testing Initiative. She is heard protesting her gender and trying to get people to believe she is a woman.

Sally Sue Greg - transgender (implied)

Sally Sue Greg is the transfeminine version of Greg in an alternate universe. She's heard talking with Cavina about the matter of people not seeing them as women.

Greg - transgender, achillean (potential?)

Greg might be transmasculine as seen above with Cave, he too had a transfeminine version of himself in Perpetual Testing Initiative. (Big stretch, probably not the intention) how he acts with Cave could also potentially be romantic. Though he also has a daughter, and in the DotA announcer pack, Cave mentions how Greg has a wife (who Cave does not like).

Bendy - nonbinary (potential)

Bendy was never given a gender in Perpetual Testing Initiative and only has the little stick figure sprite. Same for other Aperture universe games such as The Lab.

Charlie - nonbinary, bisexual (implied)

Charlie in Aperture Desk Job gets no identifying features of any gender and Charlie is a very gender-neutral name. Grady also asks them if they have a wife or husband and then says he'd like to meet them eventually.

Grady - gay (potential)

Charlie and Grady are most likely meant to mimic the relationship that Chell and GLaDOS have.

Cores - agender (canon)

Most (but not all) Cores and robots in the Portal games that you see do not get assigned a gender (or get it/its used on them).

Atlas and Pbody - gay? Aroace? (Implied??)

In The Final Hours of Portal 2 they were implied as a couple. One of Valves artists, Makani, made human designs and made them both the same gender, also stating the robots are pretty gender-neutral. I don't think the robots themselves were actually given a gender though. Also you can color-pick the aro/ace flag off of them. Portal is literally aro/ace now lol!

Mel - sapphic (potential)

Mel and Chell were originally co-op test partners together, if following the same pattern as the co-op bots, then they could’ve been romantic.

There’s a clipboard in various areas of the games that says “Gender Neutral, Polyamory-Friendly Partnership Project”.

Half-Life

Gman - genderless, asexual (canon?)

There's a line in Half-Life 1 from the Nihilanth that says Gman is not man like Gordon is "you are man. He is not man". Gman isn't really human so I don't think gender or sexual orientation matters but a bonus is you can also color-pick the asexual colors from him.

Alyx - bisexual (probable)

Alyx was meant to have a crush on a resistance member who's gender was not confirmed. Alyx in Half-Life 2 is shown to develop a crush on Gordon Freeman. This doesn’t really count but in the Official Portal 2 Guide Book, there was a question to some Valve employees on who would win if Chell and Alyx were in a fight and two people said they'd probably just hang out and go to a bar (I like to think that implies something lol).

Cut Resistance member - nonbinary (possibly)

(Same as above) There was a cut resistance member for HL2e3 that Alyx Vance would get a crush on. They were deaf so Alyx learned sign language to communicate with them. They later on go away from Alyx to someplace else to fight the Combine and Alyx was left to use her sign language with Dog. Gabe Newell did not specify the gender of this character.

Barney Calhoun - bisexual (possibly)

Barney in Half-Life: Blue Shift is implied to have a girlfriend based on his locker but someone suggested he might be bisexual because of a line to Gordon in Half-Life 2, “You're in pretty good shape for a man of science”.

Technically you could also count many of the humans in Half-Life to being asexual due to the suppression field. 

Adrian Shephard is another potential gender queer character because him as a person is meant to be up to player interpretation

The Lambda symbol, in Half-Life’s context is used to represent radioactive decay, but the Lambda symbol has been used historically as a gay pride symbol.

Team Fortress 2

Miss Pauling - lesbian (canon)

Miss Pauling was confirmed lesbian by Jay Pinkerton, one of Valves writers. She's shown in Expiration Date, her voice lines, and the comics to not like Scout back or ever date him. She goes to many women themed events in her time off in the Tough Break update. She had an ad listing in the Teufort Reader on the TF2 website in which she was looking for someone to go on a date with her but did not specify the gender of the partner, unlike Scout who specified he wanted to date a woman. Ashly Burch, Pauling's voice actress, came out as pansexual and added in the post that many of the characters she voiced were in LGBTQ (she is also in DotA as Dark Willow and in Portal as the out-of-breath core if that means anything for them). In the TF2 comics, Pauling is repulsed by Soldier being naked but was unbothered by Zhanna, possibly implied to develop a crush on her. Miss Pauling might also have a crush on the Administrator by some of her remarks towards her in the comics (And in the possible comic 7 leak documented by Richter Overtime where they almost kiss??). Medic - bisexual (canon)

Medic and Heavy being a couple is heavily implied! The main TF2 comic artist, Makani, has posted a lot of Heavy x Medic art in the past (slight nsfw warning if you click on the links). Medic and Heavy are shown to be extremely close in their voice lines, (Heavy has more lines for Medic than everyone else, they’re a lot kinder as well), official sfms (they're usually paired next to each other), and in the comics. In the comics they become the implied parents of the monkey from Classic Heavy (and they stand together on the side with the other couples). Heavy had a line to Medic for the Kiss King item saying to kiss him. Robin Atkin Downes, Medic's voice actor, at Pax West 2022 said that he thought Valve should make a love story for Medic and Heavy and later on as Medic "just for the record, I love Heavy!" And posted it to his Twitter. Heavy and Sniper's voice actors replied supporting this decision. Medic and Heavy’s actors also improved a date, once reaching a certain donation goal on the Kritzkast streams. For him being bisexual, Demoman had a line to Medic saying he was having sex with his wife, as well as Makani made a design for her. For further info, here’s a master post I found of people compiling Heavy-Medic stuff! Heavy - gay (implied)

Heavy is gay for the reasons for Medic as above, but he has never seemed romantically interested in the other women shown in the series (probably seeing them more like family he should protect).

Pyro - genderqueer (canon)

Pyro in their updates and in Valve interviews has gotten all he/she/they pronouns used on her. He also was joked at having a menstrual cycle in the comics. But they also have a male voice actor and masculine concept art. There was also a lot of implications of different genders for her, such as in Meet the Pyro with the female symbol in Pyroland and showing him liking stereotypical girlish things (plus the “he’s not here, is she?” line in the official captioning/transcript). Their cosmetics can be pretty androgynous. Many character’s use different pronouns or gendered insults on occasion in-game. One thing that inspired people to have the theory they are a girl is when a file of an unused female face turned up around the time of the Sniper vs Spy files, but never confirmed what it was used for. In a QnA, John Patrick Lowrie, Snipers voice actor, was asked what Pyro's gender was and in response he said Pyro was beyond gender and Pyro’s voice actor uses different pronouns on Pyro (usually he/they). Besides Sniper, Pyro was the only mercenary to not receive genderbent concept art. (There is way more to the Pyro genderqueer theory so if I find a good post analyzing it, I’ll link it here!)

Demoman - bisexual (possibly)

Demoman has the line "If I wasn' the man I was I'd kiss ye!" when thanking someone (and apparently in the Spanish version it translates to "If I weren't so macho I'd kiss you", if that adds anything). Also a lot of people interpret his lines to Soldier as romantic coded- I’m acknowledging that yes they’re platonic and that’s great if they are! Of course friendships exist and are equally as important but I thought people pointing romance out was interesting! -Voice lines include: ”I love you, man...", "DOMINATED! But you're a good man and I love you.", "EVERYBODY! I DON'T LIKE THIS MAN. HE IS A SOULLESS MONSTER! I do like you, it's just for show." and not to just Soldier I found this "Dominated! Accordin' to unicorn law, yer me bloody wife now". For liking woman there’s the line, previously mentioned above, where Demo tells Medic he’s gonna have sex with his wife, "Dominated! ...And I've been shaggin' yer wife! Hahah!"

Soldier - transgender, bisexual (possibly)

My friend brought this one up but Soldier might be transmasculine, as people who are unidentifiable for a name, mainly used in war, will be named Jane Doe (for female) or John Doe (for male) based on genitals. Soldier's name is Jane Doe, but he still refers to himself as a man, meaning he could be transmasculine. He later uses the name John Doe which could be him changing it. Call me later, we can talk about our day.", “DOMINATED! I cherish these moments we spend together." (to Demoman), "C'mere, sweetheart.” (to Medic). And in the comics he gets married to Heavy’s sister Zhanna.

Spy - genderfluid, polyamorous (implied)

Spy has the line "I like my teams like I like my romances: in groups of six". In the Scream Fortress event for 2022, there is a sticker on the briefcase for Spy's taunt, Travel Agent, that has him in pinup type attire with a more feminine/sexualized figure for both Red and Blu team. In the Steam 20th anniversary art, both Red and Blu Spy were drawn in the blue-black, white-gold dresses.

The Administrator - aroace spectrum (potential?)

Administrator shows no interest in relationships of any sort (besides once having a relationship with Saxton Hale). Someone suggested she was aplatonic, which can fall into aroace categories.

Merasmus - bigender, asexual (implied)

Merasmus in the comics would have feminine terms or titles used on him (for wearing a dress) but never corrected anyone (while still using he/him pronouns on himself). Soldier has a voice line calling Merasmus an enchantress (used for a woman who uses magic, or used for a woman who is attractive). In a comic he implied he was ace by saying his blood was that of a virgin.

Redmon and Blutarch Mann - intersex or trans?? (almost)

In the comic Blood Brothers, they consider creating a pregnancy machine to continue their family line and to continue the fight over gravel, but they are stopped when Gray Mann kills them.

TFC Pyro - transfeminine, intersex (canon)

Beatrice (TFC Pyro) is canonically a trans woman as in the original Team Fortress game she was assumed a guy, having a male voice actor and her design was mostly covered up. She then is a woman in the comics. She technically got gender reassignment surgery from Medic when he put baboon uterus' inside everyone!

TFC Soldier - gay, intersex (implied?)

Ross (TFC Soldier) is implied to like Greg in the TF2 comics before they die by Pyro. The pair talking emotionally about going to make orphanage together and following their dreams.

TFC Spy - gay, intersex (implied?)

Greg (TFC Spy) is the same as the spot above.

TFC Heavy - intersex (canon)

Medic directly told TFC Heavy that he put a baboon uterus inside of him. The procedure works and Medic is left with a baby baboon!

TFC Demoman - intersex (canon)

Same with TFC Heavy, Greg (TFC Demoman) is directly said to have a baboon uterus!

Team Fortress Classic team - intersex (canon)

Like previously mentioned, the TFC team had baboon uterus' put inside them from the TF2 Medic. Most of the team is assumed to be assigned male at birth and assuming none of them noticed this surgery, Medic probably kept in both parts, making them all intersex. 

One of Valve’s artists, Makani, used to post a lot of queer art of the mercenaries. Many were genderbent, (or just remained cis/gay or polyamorous). Examples include Spy x Sniper, Heavy x Medic x Medic’s wife, ect.

Left4dead

Ellis - bisexual (canon)

Ellis says "If the laws of nature would allow it, I would bear that man's children." Towards a race car driver. Some believe the voice lines towards Keith make it seem like the two could be in a relationship. Ellis does develop a crush on Zoey, though. Someone suggested his voice line "My name is Ellis, some people call me El. But I really prefer Ellis 'cause El kinda sounds like a girl's name. But if you prefer to call me El, I guess you can." can relate to being transgender.

Nick - bisexual (possible)

Someone informed me that Nick having a ring on his left pinky finger could be used as a gay sign. Although he has rings on many different fingers, the pinky ring could still indicate he’s MLM in some way (although it can also be used as an indicator of a gang, which we know he was probably apart of one). Nick has been divorced from a woman at least once, going by some of his voice lines.

Rochelle is sometimes referred to with male pronouns for certain actions, but it seems to have been an oversight of forgetting to add female variants.

The Church Guy when revealed can be a Hunter, Smoker, or Boomer of either gender

Dota

Storm Spirit - gay (canon)

Storm Spirit is implied to not like women in his voice lines (Batrider also says his bat likes fruit when the bat hurts Storm Spirit). Him being gay was confirmed by an employee on Steam on a Steam forum.

Legion Commander - transgender, lesbian (canon)

The Legion Commander was originally male in DotA 1/World of Warcraft (?) but was later changed and remained a girl in DotA 2 and it’s comics. Legion in the DotA comic, Call to Arms, is hinted at dating a male Satyr named Belasanno, but this is contradicted when Legion was confirmed lesbian by a Valve employee on a Steam forum (where a user stated she was lesbian and a Valve employee marked it as correct). Not canon but the Valve artist Makani made a post drawing DotA characters as Undertale characters and Legion was drawn as Undyne, who is lesbian as well. (and if you’re curious who Alphys was, it’s WInter Wyvern/Auroth)

Mirana - bisexual (canon)

Mirana worships and is in love with Selemene (other potential relationships were Marci, Wei, or Luna?). She is in the anime called “Usurpers whore”, the usurper being Selemene in this situation. She does fall in love with Davion the Dragon Knight, and is implied to have his child.

Luna - lesbian (canon) Luna worships Selemene, Selemene multiple times saying she loved her and Luna says she is fully hers.  Luna is hinted at not liking men in the anime when she rejects all advances from Hieronimo. Later when Luna, Davion, Hieronimo, and Mirana meet up Davion asks what’s going on, Hieronimo responds that it’s a lovers quarrel (I assumed about Mirana/Luna, but it was probably about Mirana/Davion or Hieronimo inserting himself into it). Luna seems to have some kind of feelings towards Mirana, at times dedicating her life to her. She is very intense about serving her.

Zeus - bisexual, polyamorous (canon)

Zeus in DotA 2 is just Zeus from Greek mythology, who was known to sleep with both women and men, usually multiple at a time.

Queen of Pain - pansexual (probably)

Queen of Pain is a succubus, and while succubi are usually attracted to men, many can be bisexual.

Anti-Mage - asexual (implied)

Anti-Mage is a monk and monks aren’t supposed to have sexual interactions so I’m using that to say he’s ace. Also a Queen of Pain line to him is "Oh, Anti-Mage, I'll make you break your vows." furthering that fact.

Lina - transgender (kind of)

Lina in DotA 1 was a male character named Link Inverse. They were inspired by the character Lina Inverse from Slayer. She was later changed to female.

Fymryn - pansexual, polyamorous (canon)

Fymryn in the Dota 2 Dragons Blood anime is seen in a polyamorous relationship with Adara, Dyfed, and Idwal. Adara being a woman and Dyfed and Idwal being men. When she is Mene, she is shown to be very loving to everyone.

Adara - bisexual, polyamorous (canon)

Same as above for the poly relationship.

Dyfed - bisexual, polyamorous (canon)

Same as above.

Idwal - bisexual, polyamorous (canon)

Same as above.

Selemene - pansexual, polyamorous (canon)

Selemene has very intimate worshipers of any gender, previously was dating Invoker, she is also an elf, in which the elven race is naturally pansexual and polyamorous.

Invoker - polyamorous

As previously mentioned, all Dota elves were confirmed polyamorous in the anime.

Mene - pansexual, polyamorous (canon)

Mene is the goddess that came before Fymryn was reincarnated as her. Similar to Selemene, she is seen with multiple gendered worshippers.

Most elves in DotA are confirmed polyamorous. Fymryn says that the elves find one on one relationships strange. Other main elves are Filomena and Invoker. They are presumably polyamorous although neither have been shown to have romantic relationships (besides Invoker with Selemene). I can’t find a clip of the scene but someone posted the quotes of Fymryn asking Davion about monogamy. (adding just the general idea of elves since there are many shown that are unnamed)

Pugna - archillian (maybe) This one is more joking but relating to the Undertale crossover art, Pugna was drawn as Sans and Sans is very aro/ace coded (I’m still learning DotA lore so I’m using the Undertale post almost as a basis? For this one anyway). I saw some people say Pugna was gay due to some voice lines but I haven’t found them.

Black Market Overseer - queer

The black market overseer in DotA: Dragon’s Blood is incredibly androgynous with slight drag (?) elements. They have a masculine voice but a more feminine look and could easily be interpreted as both male or female in appearance.

Hieronimo - bisexual (implied)

In the anime he makes flirting comments to both men and women (Luna and Invoker)

In the black market Mirana and Marci pass a room with a bunch of people having sex. It was pairs of multiple genders and some of the pairs were polyamorous.

Characters I’ve seen people say are queer but I could not find 100% reasoning: Razor, (gay, people mainly mentioned his voice acting), Slark (gay), Wind and Drow ranger (lesbian, but I think it’s mainly fanon or fetish), Axe (gay), Juggernaut (bi), Riki (gay, for being purple apparently?? I saw multiple people say this- Although I did find this on the importance of purple in the queer community if that means anything), Meepo (bi for liking redheads, although it’s only to female characters), Mirana (trans, they might’ve mixed her up for Legion or Lina)

Counter-Strike

There are characters missing from this (from both the Asian and American versions of the series, apparently), but this is what I’ve found so far?? Please let me know if you find anything else! And yeah before y’all start about how gay people shouldn't exist in a terrorist game. Yeah. It doesn’t matter! But it matters even less when you sit here arguing with us about it. Some people just like the character lore okay. We aren’t supporting terrorism or whatever.

Trapper - transgender?

Many people thought this character was transgender due to the fact that when first released, she used the male variant of voice lines. It was later updated to the female version. The design is very gender ambiguous.

Safecracker Voltzmann - lesbian (implied)

While no voice lines make this apparent, Voltzmann’s design is similar to butch lesbians. She’s very masculine in appearance and has short colored hair which is a popular stereotype among gay people. Her personality is very fun and eccentric, she’s described as being weird, this could be like how queer people are othered for being themselves and seen as different.

This also doesn’t count as much but in the Steam 20th anniversary art, there are two Counter-Strike dudes doing the Barbie and Ken mugshot meme. Usually people used this meme for ships (as well as Ken has a crush on Barbie in the movie).

Characters people have said are queer but I found no evidence for: Female terrorist (lesbian, either CSO (Jennifer?) or CSGO (voltzmann??), Yuri and Ace (lesbian and ace for their names- but the names are obviously for the other meanings of the words), a SEAL Team 6 member (trans, I assume it would be like Legion or Lina where the character got genderswapped in development. Cannot find who though), 

Miscellaneous

Steam Pal (Steam Deck) - agender (canon?)

Steam Pal is the Steam Deck mascot for the Asian release. They have not been given a gender so far. The only possible instance was when Steam Pal was referred to as “Pal-Chan”, (the honorific “-chan” in Japanese is often used for young children or girls).

Player character (Ricochet) - transgender (canon?)

There is a cut female model from the game, potentially the player character instead of the male. (They were probably different characters though).

Holly (Back 4 Blood) - sapphic (potential)

(Yes I know Back4Blood isn't directly from Valve) Holly has a pin with a rainbow on her bag, the colors are similar to the pansexual flag. Some people interpret her and Karlee’s interactions as flirting (I have yet to find which ones but I’ll link to them when I find them). Someone pointed out that Holly playing softball and roller derby are often lesbian stereotypes so that could be a hint at her sexuality.

Mom (Back 4 Blood) - bisexual (canon)

Mom and Doc are said to be written as a relationship by one of the developers. Mom was married and had children too. They seem to really care about each other in conversation.

Doc (Back 4 Blood) - sapphic (canon)

Same as above.

Karlee (Back 4 Blood) - lesbian (potential?)

Karlee was stated to have grown close to Sharice (but not clarified in what way) and gave her one of her pins. Some people interpret her interactions with Holly as flirting or think she’s queer because of her punkish design and demeanor. Although she was confirmed to not be trans (some people had confusion over her gender from a texturing error).

Sharice (Back 4 Blood) - lesbian (potential?)

Same as above.

(Back 4 Blood) There is a line from Jim implying none of the characters are straight in response to someone. Lines being (not exact as I just saw a post about it) “I hope this is straight forward” “Only thing straight around here is how the crow flies”. Of course this phrase is used in other contexts, but it’s funny to think about.

Me or tumblr *glares suspiciously* accidentally managed to delete everything I’d typed mid-answer, and I have had A Week, so I’ve only just gotten around to re-writing. But hey, I’m here now and still excited about thunderpride!!! (and I think this is longer than the original!)

2- Queer ships for Thunderbirds? I love Kayo and Penelope together!

a) Their relationship is so interesting to me. (I haven’t actually read a huge amount of Kayo/Penny, so this is mostly from my own thoughts.) 

I see them as foils for each other in a way that brings them closer together. Penny and Kayo have very different backgrounds and outside appearances, yet they are similar at the core. Both are determined and devoted to their causes and ruthless when it comes to people they love being hurt. Kayo’s armour is in seeming dangerous, while Penelope’s in appearing harmless. A lot of vulnerability and trust would go into learning how to be together, but their relationship's greatest strength is not having to put up appearances, able to understand and be themselves with each other completely.

b) lesbians. Need I say more? (We always need more WLW in fandom!)

1- Headcanons! I’m going to answer for Alan, because I sure do have a lot of queer headcanons!

I absolutely love Alan being trans. Like so much. He’s a character I’ve become unexpectedly fond of with a side of concerned ‘oh gosh, he’s just a kid, who let the kid go out on space rescues?!’ The contrast between International Rescue operative and literally a teenager.

Alan going through the normal things of being a teen, figuring out gender, still in highschool, all the while flying around a rocket for International Rescue. Just the relatableness, of ‘yeah I’ve been there too,’ and getting to show him having a super supportive family, and the representation of him being a part of International Rescue who people and kids in and out of universe look up to! 

There are a bunch of amazing works from people in this fandom too! 

I reckon Alan really likes the word queer for describing his sexuality. He’s still young and figuring himself out, and doesn't want the pressure to define himself by just one narrow and constricting label. While questioning, he tried on a bunch of more specific ones, maybe bi or pan, but none of them really stuck. He likes people of all different genders and prefers the freedom of being himself as he is in the moment without having it fit into a neat box.

For coming out as queer, it’s not a big deal but they still celebrate! Alan isn't exactly the first of his siblings to not be straight. Actually thinking about it, none of them are. This is Alan’s turn, for him to celebrate who he is and have pride in it. His whole family is there to show their support, like they are everyday, today just a bit louder. An excuse for a party is an excuse for a party! There is rainbow icecream cake flown in from the mainland on TB-One so it doesn't melt, and who let Gordy get his hands on glitter?! 

Alan grins every time he finds rainbow glitter in a crevice of the house. A reminder of his family’s love and support for him, in the enduring nature of sparkles!

Okay I have recently learned about asexual rings and I thought ‘hey I’ll make a post about it on my main why not’

So apparently ace rings are black (or mostly black) rings that you wear specifically on the middle finger of your right hand. It’s like a subtle way of telling people you’re ace and I think that’s really cool!

There’s another ring that’s literally the opposite, a white (or mostly white) ring worn on the middle finger of your left hand that signifies being aromantic. I’d literally never heard of this one ever but had come across the ace one a few times in passing so it’s getting mentioned here too

I’m not entirely sure what the history of these things are (if anyone knows I’d be really interested to find out) but ya know. Since I’m ace and I love cool adjustable rings guess what I’m gonna start a collection of now and guess who’s dashboards I’m gonna clog up with it when I get started on it :)

I also learned a bunch of other stuff on the wiki looking this up! Apparently lemon bars are a big thing in the bisexual community and the Blahaj shark has an entire paragraph dedicated to it and how it’s a symbol of the trans community! And the high five was possibly invented by openly gay athletes which is cool and that the green carnation is associated with gay men because of Oscar Wilde (who was apparently gay?? I feel like my literature teacher should have mentioned that) wearing one. And violets? Represent lesbian and bisexual women because of Sapphos who I unfortunately know much less about. I didn’t see anything on asexuals and the dragons, space or cake associations but again, I’ve only seen these vaguely mentioned in Tumblr posts about how these things have declined because of exclusionists or something, I don’t really know much about it. There’s also apparently talk of comets being symbols for nonbinary folk, though it doesn’t look all too prevalent if the wiki is much to go on. It’s unfortunate I couldn’t see anything like the ace ring or the bi lemon bars thing for nonbinary folk like me but hey! I’m sure we will at some point! It’s not like this stuff can’t be added to, I mean look at Blahaj. I’d say that’s pretty recent

Lets talk about bisexual lesbians. Or, more specifically, the use of the term bi-lesbian. Can a bi woman be a lesbian? My answer is yes for many, many reasons, but this is perhaps the most important.

The question is asked, why can't lesbians have this one thing?

Now most people don't catch this, but there are actually two different questions there combined into one, and different people will read that differently. The questions and their respective answers:

Can we have something of our own only for us? Yes, you can. I am not sure you are going to have a lot of luck creating some hard division for that term to rest on, but if you think conceptually it is very important then that's fine.

Can that thing be the word lesbian? No, it cannot be the word lesbian.

The reason is quite simple. For a good amount of wlw history the term lesbian did not refer to only women who exclusively loved women. It was widely used by women loving women in general. This particular argument is constructed to make it seem as if exclusively women loving women created this term for themselves and then others invaded it, but historically the opposite occurred. The term was inclusive, and only by deliberate and malicious efforts was the term made exclusive. I wont get into the details of the history, but you might know them as bisexual exclusionist radical feminists. In other contexts you may know the closely related and heavily overlapping group, terfs.

These are the same people who came up with the idea of the gold star lesbian, which can be summed up as the idea that lesbians can be permanently tainted by having had contact with maleness. Have you ever kissed a man? You are permanently damaged goods and an inferior lesbian. They also came up with the idea of political lesbianism, which is that women can and should choose to be lesbians, and if you do not then you are a bad person and bad feminist. There is much, much more we could name, but we would be here all day.

Every negative stereotype of bi women was fully endorsed and used by these women as justification for this ousting of bi women, including things like the idea that bi women are dangerous perverts, that bi women are to be blamed for lesbians being attacked by men, that bi women are not actually real at all and they are either confused lesbians or malicious straight women.

Policing the use of lesbian by bi women started as an act of exclusionism and has continued to be so. Time has not dulled that truth. You can't have your cake and eat it too; you are either a bi exclusionist, or you support bi women using the term lesbian.

I used bi women as the center of my explanation here, but this applies to most if not all of the many instances of using the term lesbian outside of the exclusionist meaning. Even if a particular use is not covered under this pattern, lesbian was never an exclusive term in the way rad fems would have you believe. It is not meaningfully possible to create an exclusionary meaning for lesbian in the same way it is not meaningfully possible to create an exclusionary meaning of the word 'woman' as terfs and conservatives constantly try to do.

That all said, it is understandable that people don't know the details of this issue. The confusing of this issue was and is deliberate. You are not a bad person if you were not already on board with this, and if it takes you some time to think it over then good. You shouldn't be flipping your opinions on a dime because of a single post anyway.

This is not an ultimatum that demands you fall in line. Treat it as a single point of data to bring into your wider consideration. Maybe its the last one you need, maybe its a starting point. But please do think on it.

So. I'm trying to stay as close to canon as possible considering the somewhat significant changes I've already made to the nature of King Sombra.

But I headcanoned Big McIntosh as gay and Cheerilee as a lesbian for a long time based on a very specific, canon interaction they have in Hearts and Hooves Day shortly before drinking the punch.

Then Season 6 started on March 26, 2016.

Then on March 27, 2016 Faust herself posted on Twitter “Big Mac is into dudes.”

At which point Hasbro went “Oh crap,” and sprang into action and a) made absolutely sure to a) give Big Mac a girlfriend in Season 7, and b) clarify that Mrs. Cake changed her name (seemingly after getting married.)

So, here I am going back through Season 1 to see if Season 7 contradicts Season 1 about Mrs. Cake's name and I’m wondering what the hell I'm going to do about it.

I'm at a point where Metamorphosis' story has not only done a soft reboot but is doing a time skip. This means I have Thorax from Season 6, along with the “ancient dark stone”, but it also means I have Chrysalis’ fate from Season 9.

So, do I have Cheerilee and Big Mac as the L and G that I perceived in Season 2? Or am I stuck with Sugar Belle from Season 7?

april 2022: maybe cheating bc it was the last day of the month but the car seat headrest show!!! so much fun i love that band and it was my first concert in a hot minute. thank u gay furries.

march 2022: there was one day i just got on the bus and went down to the dog beach and sat there watching the dogs and the sunset :) there was a lesbian couple set up near me and i watched one of them comb their terrier's lil beard and i honest to god teared up about it lol

february 2022: i can't remember much from this month i think i was playing a lot of pathfinder wrath of the righteous. and watching the winter olympics. that was good i love getting REALLY into men's figure skating every four years it's like the one time my mom and i have a common interest

january 2022: i spent all of january in a haze of succession-posting.

december 2021: i spent all of december in a haze playing animal crossing.

november 2021: saw idkhow AND ricky montgomery live this month!!! both some of my favorite artists and both put on wonderful shows, dallon weekes in particular is an INCREDIBLE performer and a stunningly charismatic frontman. also got to hang out with a friend from twitter at idkhow (hi lu!)

october 2021: another two shows this month, fall was really the season for me going to concerts lmao. badflower and the front bottoms - i am embarrassed to admit how hard i went for tfb but not at all embarrassed to say the same for badflower. those guys rock HARD dude!!!!

september 2021: this was the month i spent on a roadtrip with my (now) roommate up the west coast!!!! it was the most fun i've had possibly ever - we spent about three weeks making our way up to seattle, sleeping in a dinky lil pt cruiser, visiting national parks, visiting my roommate's gamer friends, visiting my old haunts from when i briefly lived in washington for two years in fifth grade, etc. etc. such a great experience and i'm so glad i got to have it.

august 2021: saw the used and coheed and cambria with my sister-in-law! i love the used and coheed is one of my sister-in-law's absolute favorite bands so this co-headlining tour was, like, specifically made for us lmao. bert mccracken's still got it. also, roommate and i took a sort of proto-roadtrip for like three nights loitering around san diego as a rehearsal of sorts for the full-send trip. saw some beach, some sea lions, lots of canned soup.

july 2021: my birthday :) had a small handful of friends over, fucked around in the pool, had some cake. nothing crazy but still good fun

june 2021: went to "emo prom" at an emo coffee shop and won prom king by pure chance (like, it was a "guess the number i'm thinking of and whichever of you is closest wins" thing. i guessed 69. as a joke). i am THE inaugural emo prom king now and forever <3

may 2021: you know, i really don't know. i think i did nothing this entire month. i do not remember a thing. sad! oh well, there's other months.

Listen I'm ace. And rather a stereotype at that. I'm introverted, like space and cake, and I'm sex-repulsed. But not every asexual are these things.

Back in my day, circa 5 years ago, Asexuality was a spectrum, and news flash, it still is. The thing that I've noticed in the ace community is exactly what you're talking about. You're excluding people in your own damn community. There is one ace blog I still follow because of this. All the others started to slowly gatekeep, and although I'm still allowed in bc by sex drive is at a 0%, I do not count myself as part of their "community" because that's not what it is anymore. It's a bunch of gatekeepers with 0% sex drive, calling their old community members allosexuals (Those who experience the "traditional" type of sexual attraction.)

My advice? Follow other ace tags that are on the other sides of the spectrum. Look at other social media sites. Tumblr can really be a trash bin of unneeded discourse, and isn't always a great place for these things. Like, there are people on this site where I KNOW for a fact, they're gonna have a stroke if they go to a real pride bc they saw a masc person in a lesbian flag shirt. The "Pride" side of tumblr is slowly becoming narrow-minded and fighting with itself. But, what else did you expect when the terfs settle here and try the run the place?

As for the spectrum, here are the big players:

Asexual: An umbrella term, but also refers to those who experience no sexual attraction.

Gray-Asexual: Refers to those who feel very little sexual attraction.

Demisexual: Those who only feel sexual attraction after they've created a close bond to someone. This could vary from a couple of weeks, to months, or over a year.

Other Terms:

Aromantic: An umbrella term separate from Asexuality, but often overlaps in many. Refers to people who experience little to no romantic attraction on a spectrum similar to Asexuality. Common labels are Aromantic, Gray-Aromantic, and Demiromantic.

Alloromantic: Those who feel the "traditional" type of romantic attraction.

Sex Repulsed: Refers to people that are repulsed by the thought of engaging in sex with anyone. Asexuals are not the only ones that can be sex repulsed.

Sex Neutral: Refers to those that do not have a preference of weather or not sex is part of the relationship. This may or may not come with extra boundaries, such as how frequent sex is part of the relationship. Asexuals are not the only ones that can be sex neutral.

Sex Preferable: Refers to people that prefer to have sex as part of the relationship. Fun fact, humans are so dumb, evolution or god had to make sex pleasurable for us to reproduce. There are also many who believe that sex is way symbol of trust, vulnerability, and unity. Like any ideals, it is up to interpretation, so do not press these beliefs onto others.

Queer-Platonic Relationship (QPR): Refers to a deep-rooted, committed, platonic relationship. Though they are common in the aro and ace communities, anyone can be part of a QPR.

So what does this all mean for shipping ace characters? Is this an excuse for fanfiction? No! And even if it is, who the fuck cares? Demisexuals, gray-aces, sex nuetral aces, sex preferable aces, and alloromantic aces exist in real life, and are just a part of the Asexual Spectrum as a 0% sexual attraction, sex-repulsed ace like myself! Ace characters being in relationships do not erase their sexuality, just as it wouldn't in real life. Like I said, one day, you will go to pride and you will either understand or have a stroke. I wouldn't recommend the stroke, my grandfather had one, so I urge you to accept diversity in the LGBT+ community.

As for Daud specifically, it doesn't say in lore where he lands on the spectrum, so hc away. Throw a couple of terms in there. Be creative. Personally, I hc him as sex-repulsed and demiromantic. As a little bonus, I hc Corvo as demisexual, and even hinted to it in that CurnCrow fic I did a while back.

ikari is a trans woman! she started questioning her gender when she was 7. zane & cole have supported her since the very beginning and let her choose to present herself however she pleased. she's on hormone blockers and estrogen.

zara garmadon (15): she/her. daughter of lloyd. don't ask me who the mother is i have no idea all i know is that she left for Some Reason...or maybe she's dead idk. twin sister of kenji. zara inherited lloyd's energy powers.

zara's weapon of choice is a dagger or knife - though she also will wield dual tanto, like lloyd

she is very much a tomboy - she also hates dressing 'fancy'

she wants to get a dragon tattoo on her shoulder

zara doesn't like being the 'new green ninja'. there's too much pressure and she doesn't like that everyone expects her to live up the legacy of her father. this causes a lot of fights with lloyd.

zara and kenji have been inseparable since birth... well. until recently.

kenji garmadon (15): he/him. son of lloyd, twin brother of zara. for the first half of his life, he didn't have any elemental powers. however, one day the powers of destruction awakened within him...the same powers that once belonged to his grandfather, lord garmadon. ever since then, kenji struggled with feeling like he fit in with the others and felt doomed to darkness.

his weapon of choice is a dagger, just like his sister

no matter what path he takes, kenji will always love his sister and would do anything to protect her

his eyes were brown as a baby/child, but when his powers awoke they turned purple and glow slightly in the dark

he struggles to control his own powers - but desperately tries to pretend he can

on a lighter note, he knows how to play the drums!

general plot stuff

the original ninja team didn't really want their children to have to deal with the reasonability of being elemental masters & the trauma and stress that comes with being heroes. unfortunately, fate had other ideas. trying to avoid training them only led to their powers going haywire - so eventually, lloyd took on the title of sensei and began training them all.

current day - after an accident where kenji's powers went out of control and destroyed half of the training grounds and injured onyx, everyone started treating him differently - as if he was a ticking time bomb. onyx was borderline scared of him.

this distanced kenji from the others. during the new team's first field mission, kenji went off the rails and almost killed one of the bandits they were trying to stop. when his entire team yelled at him, he stormed off and didn't return.

zara was devastated by this and struggles with feeling trapped and alone... her fights with lloyd grow a lot more frequent.

lloyd agonizes over how his bloodline must be cursed. once again, there will be a fight son vs. father, sibling vs. sibling. he isolates himself as he tries to find a solution to save his family, going as far as snapping at the other ninja when they try to help him.

meanwhile, the rift between kade and zara only grows more, as zara tries to explain that powers have only broken her family apart - while kade is furious that she doesn't recognize her own importance, and expresses how useless he felt on the field mission.

the new team is torn apart on how to feel about kenji - some of them feel betrayed (kade, asher, ikari), others are scared for him (zara).

onyx doesn't know how to feel about the whole situation - being close to zara, she doesn't want to dismiss kenji as a lost cause, but after her personal scare with kenji's powers she doesn't want him back either unless he can control himself.

also maybe in the background zane is dealing with the fact he doesn't age idk. and jay has major trauma around nya almost dying TWICE so like. he is so terrified everytime asher has to go into the field because THAT'S HIS BABY! also kai and skylor definitely get into small arguments over how to handle kade's recklessness and bad behavior
