Thank you @captain-of-silvenar for tagging me once again! To be honest, I dont spend much time on tumblr anymore except to have discussions and to share a few few things - I tend to forget I have an account here until some tag pops out of nowhere. I love them, and I'll try to give you some WIPs of mine. I've been working on young Xangr's diary. I have MANY pages of it and I'll try to translate them as correctly as possible... Now that it's my turn, I'll tag @yansurnummu and @lokorum!

So before we start, a little bit of context: We're years before the Planemeld. The coming piece of WIP comes from a whole diary that bears no date on it. It is at ESO days kept by the Mage Guild of Auridion, since it's trusted that it belonged to an ex-member of their cell and has been found in a Worm Cult nest. Here are the latest pages I'm working on (translated as I could) /!\ IT'S LONG :

[...] It's the strangest text so far. As I decipher and translate it, it keeps rearranging its characters. It annoys the crap out of me. The glyphs describe and can be used as an easy hook. That was the purpose of the Wayrest colleagues if I reckon and I think the project is about the same here. Among the non-orthogonal lines, I'm beginning to glimpse discreet characters impregnated with subreptice. They have an unpleasantly familiar aroma that I can't quite put my finger on yet. When I touch these irregular arrangements of symbols, they dance, belch and nauseate me. It's a putrid smell. I don't know what it's doing here, but keeping these sentences isolated from the rest might come in handy. I have an inexplicable certainty about it - the feeling that it will be useful to us. I should think about bringing him a bouquet of flowers. I think he'd like it and it would help us get back on track. We can't stay in this situation.

Have returned to the text. The sketches I've isolated have stopped moving and describe a phenomena that can barely take shape in our reality. I can easily deduce that they break the laws of the Veil and obey only their own. I'm intrigued, but I won't say anything to the others for the moment. I wait until I've finished the task and understood everything before sharing the news. The other stuff? Simple, wordy equations about transliminality. They'll be useful for those who need to be reminded how to count. I wonder when I stopped being impressed by all these signs. I even wonder why I understand them so well. I get the feeling that they're speaking directly to me, and that the language used on this dusty paper isn't what carries the point. I'm beginning to wonder about the languages of other planes. I read an interesting book the other day that I'd pulled out of the laboratory stash. There are theories about the probable immaterial nature of daedra essence. I'll explain when I'm done with this parchment. He told me today that I look pretty good for someone who lives with an infant. I think it's his disguised way of telling me that he suspects I'm not sleeping at home. I don't like it when he does that. I don't like his eyes. They burn, and the flowers haven't helped anything between us. I'm going to spend several nights back in the attic, until I feel he's less concerned by my absences.

Back this evening. They made progress on my work but didn't feel the potential of the verses I extracted from all the paragraphs. It's only me who feels the call, obviously. I'm tired, and the quality of my writing is suffering. My lines are indecipherable and I have to keep correcting myself. However, they seem satisfied. Before I leave, I should have extracted a new equation. It's like alternating between removing a splinter or pulling a tooth: I operate between the meticulous and the brutal, each time using my pen and fingers as pliers. Sometimes you just have to know how to get respect, even from a piece of paper. “Zymel Hziz.” This is the last nymic I've managed to isolate - a lightning atronach. Decidedly, Oblivion today is convenient in the way it lexicalizes the entities that reside there… It's even suspiciously tidy. Note: don't lock yourself into a general rule. Being taken by surprise isn't always a pleasant experience.

My results have been transmitted and will soon be re-evaluated. I'm waiting for them to come back, stamping my feet slightly but not too much. They don't like it when I'm impatient; I hear it's too decisive a flaw in many cases. To keep myself busy, I pick up these rotten-meat-smelling characters again. I wonder if they're not a formula. I don't recognize any grammatical arrangement that might remind me of an entity, even squinting. I don't think it's a sentence. I'm sure it doesn't say anything and I'm not sure it matters either. Indeed, it says nothing. I've been thinking about it for several nights now, and I think I've finally figured it out. I'll wait a few more hours to flesh out my observations. It may not say anything, but it talks. And when I say “it talks”, I mean it's loquacious. Reading these incomprehensible phonemes is inaudible. I repeat and repeat in front of my colleagues, and they get nothing but annoyance out of it. But as I struggle to pronounce this unspeakable jumble, I'm gripped by a new certainty. I'm convinced that this language finds a way to be universal and selective at the same time. I'm certain that I can understand it because it wants me to. In the meantime, I have to say that it sounds awful. I must pronounce it with a deplorable accent, rather like I pronounce my Altmeri. I must confess that I haven't particularly tried to articulate my Altmeri correctly. Altmeri is good for vomiting. Altmeri is best disgorged from the heart.

Today's demonstration was impressive. I've learned a lot and I'd like to share with them my questions about the nature of this language. I'd like to call it “Skrmblz”. It adds a bit of cuteness to the sordidness, a bit like me. Skrmblz is a bit devious and has poor hygiene. She won't let anyone talk to her, and doesn't let anyone listen to her. Skrmblz has a nasty temper. We've taken turns trying to spit her out, and it's only when I have her in my mouth that I can taste more than bile. In the end, Skrmblz opens up to me with the force of my tongue, like someone stirring in a big mashed potato. It reminds me of good evenings.

Tonight, it's been a week since I've been down to the brothel. I'm in a cold sweat. Maybe I'll spend the next few nights relaxing a bit. I don't care if he's disappointed in me, all he had to do was appreciating my flowers!

Look, I'm sorry. I think I really am. I wish you'd appreciate them and put them in a vase next to our bed. I guess she didn't let you keep them in our house. ❥ Sugishita is still learning about all this couple thingy, but atleast he goes to ask if youre ok and tries to reassure you giving a weird squeeze to your shoulder— its a start!

❥ He doesnt directly mention that your hair got a little messy on the fight, in his eyes youre still pretty so no need to mention it. But, if you bring it to the conversation— he'll probably find a way to fix it and give you a cute hairstyle, Tsubakino always gives nice tips to him about it!

❥ Probably bringed you a handmade gift from his grandma since she's supportive ofc but got a little scrunched up when he was walking faster than usual to find you...

Whenever shen yuan goes on his rants either in the comments or in forum post or hey even twitter! Shang Qinghua pulls the imfamous " You want to fuck me so bad bro it makes you look stupid " and when Shen yuan rants personally to him he doesnt respond,

and he responds with the same thing in almost every single one of Cucumbers posts.

the fandom becomes WILD.

speculation over the whole ordeal leads to shippers, which leads the the creation of the ship name " cumplane ", which leads the discord servers and forums specifically for the ship, which leads to RPF, which leads to fujoshis/fudanshis coming in to discuss the whole orodeal aswell, making PIDW even more famous.

Shen yuan unforutently founds out about this fandom a couple months after it blew up, [ entirely his fault, he ignored the shippers and called them trolls.

after he makes publiic posts fuming over this ship

fanart is starting to pop up and its PISSING cucumber so much. Why is he always pictured like a cat?? and Airplane is either pictured like a hamster or luo binghe/ that's illegal!! [ he has saved the fanart with luo binghe on them and has a special folder for them which he will never admit he has. ].

this goes on for awhile as that fandom becomes more popular and the fanfic community is celebrating 5k fics which is insane because this was founded a year ago.

so what dooes airplane shooting towards the sky think of this?

he thinks that fucking his biggest anti fan is a good idea

though he finds Peerless cucumbers rants quite entertaining, at times -- especially when he's struggling financially -- he wishes to shut his digital mouth up.

hes seen this from the beginning, as he is a fan of the fandom of his book.

he has seen MANY of the fics and has definetly fapped to them imagining that cucumber bro was actually there doing as the words said.

his favorite fics are him he is the top, pounding into him. which happily his fans are into the too.

he loves how the community depicts them both and absolety laughs his ass off at the airplane cucumber memes

he even took the time to buy a cumplane phone charm for his phone.

it all comes to head when the end of a promising arc is just papapa. Shang QInghua was frustrated with having to cut out most of the arc because his apartments rent had went up and by no means can afford it now unless he gets straight into the papapa.

and Shen yuan litterly ruined it for him even more.

with his rant in the comments Airplane did not infact copy-paste the same phrase but instead said,

" ok YOU CAN:BB UP show me you have the balls to actually fight me irl!! "

" Alright bet. "

and he proceeded to get dmed by cucumber the date and location, which wouldn't be a surprise bc Peerless cucumber never backs down on a bet!

the cumplane community is going bat shit crazy of this single interaction, they haven't gotten any material from the official people until now and its a breakthrough.

they did end up in a coffee shop, well at each other like a divorced couple, get kicked out of said coffee shop. shen yuan, embaressed by the fact offered to shang qinghua that they go to his apartment because " cleary, these streets arent built to handle my hate. "

which airplane would burst out luaghing and they would agree some more while driving to his place.

when inside Shen yuan and shang qinghua get into a little tussle and when yuan loses miserably because of his twink sick ass self versus the tale and muscular [ don't ask why shen yuan knows, and he's also confused by this fact ]

Shang qinghua has one arm against him as tto not crack one of his weak bones -- plus he can watch Shen Yuan squirm -- and pulls out his phone. which still have the cumplane charm on it.

when cucumber turns and accedentally see the charm he freezes, airplane wondering why he stopped struggling looks where he's looking and feezes too.

then they hate fuck about it as they tried to assert dominance in which shang qinghua won in, and he also teases him for all the cumplane fanart on his wall [ which was intentionally left there ]. in the morning with a grumpy shen yuan totally fucked out, shang qinghua takes a picture of them both and posts it with the headline;

She’s found that the faster she moves, passes, destroys the other team, the faster she can get back to you. Her desperation to see you isn’t truly unfounded. So as soon as practice ends she’s out. Her excuse, the one she started long before you started dating, is that her parents are super strict. She always, always comes through your window. Even though she has a key to your front door she’s insistent on climbing up the tree like some kind of Romeo. You worry about her falling and spraining an ankle, but leave the window unlocked regardless.

She pushes open the glass, crawls through. Flops on you, all sweaty and gross and dirty from the field, right onto your clean sheets.

“Gross, Mar.” You scoff, half-asleep and barely conscious at her routine arrival. It makes her pout, hard.

ive seen you say terusai is implied a lot but i dont remember ever seeing you explain why you think that

yeah now that you say it, i dont think ive ever gone into depth about it 😭 its really hard to put my thoughts into words because its sooo much, i started writing a long analysis recently on their relationship, why i believe they have feelings for each other, and why they would work but itll probably sit unfinished in my drafts for a while

for now, i'll give you a few of my most noteworthy thoughts...

the mixer scene has teruhashi unknowingly proving to saiki that her feelings are true, and he accepts that and stops trying to get her to stop pursuing him. i dont believe he ever actually makes any REAL effort to try to stop her from liking him ever again after this. he genuinely hadnt acknowledged her feelings as true or at least not as deep yet, which is why he thinks hes succeeding at getting her to move on until she proves that not only is she still thinking of him, but shes NOT thinking of a fake version of him... shes thinking of HIM... she genuinely enjoys his company even when hes doing nothing but sitting there (which is factually and obviously what he wouldve been doing in this situation, people deny that for some odd reason but like. thats what he does. with ANYONE. even his own family and everyone else who knows of his powers.) and wants him around... i think some part of him stopped because he felt guilty for not believing her feelings were true and trying to control her heart despite her genuine intentions, and another part of him was realizing that he doesnt WANT her to stop having feelings for him... otherwise, why would he drag the other guys away WHILE acknowledging that she wouldnt have gone with them anyway??? after inserting himself into a rock paper scissors game for who gets to be the one to be with her???? HELLO?

and the offu, although i dont believe it was a direct declaration of him being in love with her or whatever, has obvious canon romantic connotations... teruhashis determination is something saiki has admired about her since the very beginning, but it isnt until THIS moment that he thinks in depth about what that entails... she makes him realize all at once that she truly IS the type of person he admires most... and his "offu" is exactly what teruhashi needs, she would have a straight up epiphany if she knew about it, because he DIDNT gasp at how beautiful she is, or anything she forced herself to do, or when she forced herself to CHANGE, he ONLY gasped when she let herself embrace a part of herself that was REAL and TRUE, her unwavering dedication and pride.

THIS chapter is where they both have huge realizations about themselves and each other, and they both prove that theyre more than willing to meet in the middle for the other...

saiki lives his life forcing himself to blend into the background, not because he genuinely wants to but because hes afraid to be SEEN.

teruhashi lives her life forcing herself to be perfect and the center of attention, not because she genuinely enjoys it but because she believes she wont get the validation she feels she needs if she doesnt give everyone exactly what they want from her.

and yet, here saiki is, allowing himself to jump into the spotlight and be seen catching teruhashi out of nowhere and carrying her to the nurse. and here teruhashi is, allowing herself to be seen being imperfect, forgetting something, and not caring about her conversation with these men. FOR EACH OTHER. they both let themselves break down a wall because they care more about the other than about the fake selves they dedicate their entire lives to, THEIR GENUINE CARE FOR EACH OTHER GIVES THEM THE COURAGE TO DO THAT.

and this is probably the number one reason why i think their feelings for each other are implied... this alternate timeline is quite clearly one where saiki is more open with his friends, and he and teruhashi ARE DATING in this universe. theres absolutely no other explanation for the author writing that. he spelled out "IF SAIKI WERE MORE OPEN WITH HIS FRIENDS, HE WOULD BE DATING TERUHASHI"

the saiki of that timeline isnt exactly the same as the saiki we know of course, and their relationship will not develop in the same way, but theres clearly intention behind this and it wouldnt be written and called attention to if there was no significance, youd have to jump through hoops to deny that 😭

overall, i think they both have a lot of work to do on themselves before they can be in a relationship, but not only do i believe they WILL eventually get there but also that they both need each other on their personal journey to get to that point, or at least that they are and will continue to be important in the others journey there, and their romantic feelings for each other are so clear... these two are so important to one another...

-You and Mike met in 1983 when you were 15. Mike was smart in the things you werent, So you two made a deal that you could copy off of him . One day when you were walking down the halls you saw the meanest boy in school Trying to bully mike and it pissed you off.

-You pulled the boy off of mike and punched him with no hesitation, Mike was so sure there were hearts in his vision. You were brave and fearless, But you were also gentle and caring when you offered help if he was hurt, He wasnt but He had never wished he was more than on that day.

-Thats when you two started becoming close. At first it was small talk or friendly banter but it slowly turned into never being seen anywhere without each other.

- One lucky day in december of senior year he decided to tell you how he felt in the garden you had showed him. Mike was never romantic, He didnt know what to do or say, So he did whatever guys did in the movies he’d seen. He handpicked you some beautiful pink flowers and wrote you a cute but short letter and handed it to you.

-You accepted his feelings and looked at those puppy dog eyes that crinkled as he smiled.

-Mikes Love Language is definitely quality time. Youre the love of his life and he wants to be with you always! There are alot of times where mike doesnt know what to say or show you how much he loves you. But you know he does by the way he follows and takes you everywhere. How he offers to spend time with you when he gets off of that strange nighshift where he works, Even if it means he gets no sleep.

-Mike is a family man. He loves his little sister and you love her too. You and Abby have a bond that was fun and ‘girly’, in mikes words. (Mike wears bracelets you and abby make for him) When Mike opened up to you about his brother and his parents one day, You just put your head on his shoulder, letting him talk and not mentioning how his voice would wobble and crack every once an awhile.

-Mike struggles with his emotions and mental health. When he feels like its getting bad, He tends to distance himself but you reassure him you are there for him no matter what. You hold mike whether hes crying or not and whisper sweet words into his short curly hair.

-Mike is very jealous and protective. He tries to not to show it but its obvious. His arm slinged over your shoulder everywhere, Making sure everyone knew you were his. Even when you talked to people, He subconsciously glared at the people taking your attention away from him. Mike eyes, that could be so welcoming, were cold.

-Mike loves the date nights you plan for the two of you. Whether it was going out or staying in, He loves being in your presence.

-Mikes favorite part of everyday is at night when you two would cuddle while talking about your future together. He wants to spend the rest of his life with you and hes thrilled someone like you wants that with him too.
