Yandere Prince x GN reader
Tumblr media
second yandere yay yaya (yandere emperor next or request yans PLS)
warnings: nsfw, yandere tendencies, delusional yan
Tumblr media
Lucian, the kingdom's crown prince, which was next in line to becoming emperor, was a normal man before you moved to his kingdom to seek refuge. Normally, Lucian wouldn't care much about mere refugees, in fact he thought of you guys as nosy flies circling the kingdom and ruining its reputation.
But that was until you received an order from him, changing your view on him completely, during your shift working as a barista at a cafe.
And oh boy, he was a HIGH mantainence prince, what do you mean he needed an "extra hot, triple-shot, half-caf, non-fat, no foam, no whip, caramel macchiato with an extra pump of vanilla syrup, sprinkled with cinnamon, served in a mug that's been pre-warmed for exactly 30 seconds, but make sure the milk is steamed to precisely 150 degrees Fahrenheit, stirred counterclockwise exactly 12 times with a cinnamon stick, then remove the stick and replace it with a peppermint stick for precisely 5 seconds before removing it entirely, and don't forget to sprinkle exactly 7 chocolate shavings on top, alternating between dark and milk chocolate, and finally, serve it with a smile and a sprinkle of fairy dust for good measure."
Like where did he even get that load of information?.. so as a normal employee, you made the drink. But with a twist, you only poured dark coffee in the mug and served it to the cocky prince. And to your surprise he did not in fact, enjoy it. Wow who would've thought.
You then quit from the job and threw your apron right into the crown prince's face.
Lucian was a pervert sweetheart, he even brought your apron back to the imperial palace (where he resided) and added it to a shrine of you, which was his room. (and instantly got a raging boner from seeing or sniffing it)
Yes he had a shrine of you before meeting at the coffee shop and yes, he followed you out of the shop looking like a kicked puppy, if he had dog ears, it would be drooping right now.
And you've never met the crown prince before, you've only met his dad, the famous long-ruling emperor that always doted on his wife. Maybe thats where he got his clinginess from.
Anyway, turns out you met him at your school event which was prom, held a week after you arrived, where he bumped into you once trying to find the way through the festival, and you kept apologising for no reason (he was the one who bumped into you), and that was where you two had a 2 hour long conversation with one another. And that was how he knew you were the one and thought you liked him back too. you don't like him back. you were just hungover from the large amount of drinks you drank
From then on, he started stalking you, gifting you massive amounts of gifts every week anonymously, if you glanced at an item for a second, he would not be hesitant to buy it.
But it was completely different if you looked at someone else, or glanced at them for a millisecond he would start to become dramatic and start to sob for at least than ten minutes on the cold floor or streets, or wherever he was stalking you from, he made sure you heard his pathetic cries, oh how much he wanted you to confess your love to him.
After a day from the coffee incident, he started following you around in broad daylight, tagging along everywhere you go, whether it would be the library, your school, the imperial palace or your house, he would try to invite himself to bathe with you (you never let him in your house, he just.. got in)
Lucian would start to cry uncontrollably on the floor, and banging and punching your bathroom door if you wouldn't let him bath or shower with you. he couldn't be apart from you for any second, since you now knew his obsession.
After your bathing session or shower session, he would roam inside your bathroom, sniffing up every scent of you like a mad dog, relieving himself to bathroom filled with your scent. (he could collapse in there any moment)
"ah- darling's scent ah- wh-why didn't they let me bathe with them.."

Lando Norris (McLaren) - All Over Again
Requested: yes
Prompts: 5) "If I could, I'd like to fall in love with you all over again."
48) "I love our cuddles."
49) "Stay here tonight."
Warnings: none tbh
Tumblr media
Lando couldn't believe he was back in England, the familiar sights and sounds bringing a rush of nostalgia. He had done what he always did; gone for his morning run, ordered a hot chocolate to take away, and head on home to have his pre-made breakfast. As he strolled through the town, he couldn't help but wonder what had changed since he left for his racing career. Little did he know, he was about to encounter a significant blast from the past. He figured he may as well have a proper look around this time and so, he made his way up a side street, looking around and even spotting a few new shops.
Walking up a small street, off from his usual route, Lando's eyes widened as he spotted Y/n, the girl he had once been deeply in love with and even dated whilst he was in Formula 2. They broke up in 2020 since they both just didn't have the time and promised that if the opportunity every rose again, they would revisit it. Time seemed to freeze for a moment, and then, recognizing him, Y/n's eyes lit up with surprise and joy. "Lando? Is that really you?" She exclaimed, a mix of disbelief and excitement in her voice. He grinned. "Yeah, it's me! How have you been?" Lando asked as the pair embraced one another. "I'm good. Still on the hot chocolate or have you made the move to coffee?" She asked, pointing at the cup in Lando's hand. "I've never liked coffee and I never will. How's uni going?"
"I just finished up last year. I'm kinda just working for now until I have enough to move away." She replied. "Move away? What would make you want to do that?" Lando asked. "Well you tell me. Last I heard of you was you moved to Monaco. Very fancy." She joked. They exchanged stories, catching up on the years that had passed since they last saw each other. Laughter echoed through the air as they reminisced about old memories and shared new experiences. It was as if time hadn't dimmed the connection they once had.
Lando, felt some serious nostalgia. "I'm going to have to head now. I have some things to do. But good luck and it was lovely seeing you again." Y/n smiled. "Yeah, we should get coffee or something sometime." He replied and watched as Y/n walked past him. As she walked away, he couldn't help but think that maybe this was the time to revisit their relationship, and so, he turned and jogged back towards her to give a suggestion. "Hey, why don't you come over to my place? We can continue our conversation there." Y/n shook her head. "I have a few things to drop of to my mum's. I really can't."
"I'll come with you. I haven't seen her jn ages anyway." Y/n thought for a moment. Her mum would make such a fuss over Lando being back. She always brought Lando up, even to Y/n's last boyfriend. That conversation about Lando led to their break-up and since then she's always shrugged off any Lando conversations. "Okay fine." She said as Lando began to walk with her. "Do you want me to take something? Your hands seem full." Y/n nodded. "Please take the shopping bag. Its killing me here." Labdo laughed as he effortlessly lifted the back and hoisted it up over his shoulder. "Alright. Don't be such a show off."
Their break-up hadn't left a bitter taste, and they remained friends. The sun was shining, adding a warm glow to their amiable conversation. As they approached Y/n's mum's house, memories flooded back. Lando couldn't help but notice the nostalgia in Y/n's eyes. The door swung open before they even had a chance to knock, revealing Y/n's mum, who beamed at the sight of them. "Lando! Oh, it's been too long!" She exclaimed, enveloping Lando both in a tight hug. "Nice to see you too, Mum." Y/n mumbled as Lando grinned. "Come inside, I've just brewed some tea."
Once inside, the cozy aroma of freshly brewed tea filled the air. Y/n's mum ushered them to the living room, where memories of shared laughter echoed. They settled in, sipping tea and catching up on life. Y/n's mum couldn't help but glance between them, her eyes sparkling with curiosity. "And that crash in Germany last year. Dreadful." Her mum said. "It was Belgium, Mum." Y/n corrected. Labdo turned and smirked at her. "Thought you didn't keep up with F1." The last time he saw her, she didn't really. She only really watched it when she was with Lando. "I can watch it if I want." She replied, sipping her tea. "Oh, you two always made such a lovely couple. Any chance you're getting back together?" She inquired with a mischievous grin.
Y/n spat her tea into the cup, as Lando gave an amused glance towards Y/n. "No, we're just good friends now." Y/n explained with a smile. "Well, that's good to hear. I always hoped maybe one day you'll find your way back to each other." Her mum said. Lando's lips twitched into a playful grin. "You never know. We could probably..." Y/n interrupted, taking it as a cue to change the subject. "Well, Mum, we've got a few more errands to run. Thanks for the tea!" They bid Y/n's mum farewell, stepping back into the sunlight. "Smooth, Lando." Y/n couldn't help but roll her eyes at Lando's comment. "What?" Lando asked as if he didn't know what he had just done. "You always know how to keep things interesting," Y/n teased. Lando chuckled. "Hey, just keeping the possibilities open, you know?" Y/n shook her head, laughter bubbling up from deep within. "You haven't changed a bit."
Lando led the way to his new home. It was huge. Bigger than the one he grew up in and Y/n found that mental. "This is yours? Are you sure?" She asked. "Trust me, it's mine." He replied, opening the door. "There's a few boxes around the place. This is all just moving stuff. Don't mind them."
The aroma of spices and sizzling ingredients filled Lando Norris' kitchen as he worked diligently to prepare dinner for his good friend, Y/n. He hummed along to a tune playing softly in the background, feeling a sense of accomplishment in trying his hand at a new recipe.
Y/n walked around, a glass of wine in hand, looking at the photos that hung on the walls. From family photos to podium photos, she enjoyed looking at them. One in particular caught her eye. It was her at Lando's final Formula 2 race. They were all smiles and she couldn't help but feel the memories washing over her.
Just as Lando reached for a pot handle, a sudden hiss of pain escaped him. Lando winced, realizing he had touched the hot surface without protection. He quickly pulled back, shaking his hand in an attempt to soothe the sting. "Fuck." Lando muttered to himself, glancing around for a nearby kitchen towel. Y/n entered the room, drawn by the sound of his exclamation. "What happened, Lando?" she asked, concern evident in her voice. Lando winced, trying to brush it off. "Yeah, just a little mishap. I guess cooking isn't exactly my forte."
Y/n chuckled softly, gently taking his arm to examine the burn. "Let me take care of that for you." As Y/n tended to his burn, Lando couldn't help but admire her delicate touch and caring nature. His gaze lingered on her, filled with a warmth he couldn't contain. "Don't look at me like that." Y/n said softly, catching Lando's gaze. Lando smirked teasingly. "Like what?" Y/n rolled her eyes playfully. "You know exactly what I mean." He shrugged. "Have no idea what you mean." Rolling her eyes again, Y/n suggested, "How about I do the cooking, and you just help grab things when I need them?" Lando nodded.
As Y/n stired some pasta around in the pot, she jumped upon hearing music. "Oh, sorry. Too loud." Labdo mumbled as he turned the volume down on a speaker nearby. "Why are you playing Put Your Records On?" She asked. "I like it. You like it too last time I checked." Lando said, beginning to dance a bit. "Last time you checked was four years ago." Y/n replied. "Oh come on, you haven't changed that much." Lando chuckled. "You wanna bet?" She challenged.
Lando nodded, moving her hair across her shoulder and placing a gentle kiss onto her neck. "You like neck kisses, don't you?" Y/n found herself blushing and biting her lip to hide her smile. Lando's arms made their way around Y/n's torso, his chin resting on her shoulder. "You're playing a dangerous game, Lando." She said. "I know." Y/n set the cooking spoon to the side and gave in, turning and lifting her arms up around Lando's neck, swaying along with him. Soon enough, they were dancing, spinning and jumping around, carefree and happy. "Oh shit! The pasta!"
As they settled on the couch to watch a movie, Lando wrapped an arm around Y/n, feeling the warmth of their shared history. The prompts echoed in his mind, and he couldn't resist expressing his emotions. "I love our cuddles." He admitted, a genuine smile on his face. Y/n snuggled closer. "Me too. It feels like we never missed a beat." Lando looked up to her, the look of a lovestruck puppy in his eyes. "Stay here tonight." He asked. "Lando, I have work tomorrow." She replied. "You're acting like something is going to happen." Lando said, wiggling his eyebrows. "Oh shut up." The pair began laughing. As the laughing quietened down, they found themselves leaning in, centimetres away from eachother.
Y/n swallowed the lump in her throat as Lando looked between her eyes and then down to her lip. "Alright, but only if you promise to make breakfast tomorrow, and I get to teach you how to cook properly." Lando grinned. "Deal." And with that, he leaned in and closed the gap between them, Y/n kissing back into his lips.
The movie faded into the background as they continued their kiss, both missing the feeling of the others lips on theirs. "If I could, I'd like to fall in love with you all over again." Lando whispered between kisses. He could feel Y/n smile against him. "Maybe we can take it one step at a time, starting with breakfast tomorrow morning." Lando shook his head, lifting her up off the couch and walking towards the door. "Or we could start now and just start where we left off."

hot choco with a side of kisses ( elisa de almeida x reader )
Tumblr media
prompt: elisa comforts you as you deal with bad period cramps.
author notes: a comfort fic for @moonystoes. i didn't grammar check so give me mercy yall please anyways enjoy. (also i do take requests if anyone wants to send some in)
there was a lot of things you love about being a soccer player. the adrenaline of playing infront of thousands, being able to do something you enjoyed since you were tiny as a job, having great teammates, and much more. there is just one thing you hate that has more to do with biology than soccer.
you have been dealing with bad cramps since yesterday, but you still had to practice for games so here you are: trying to get through drills as you fight the urge to hug your stomach. the moment coach said it was time for everyone to head home you flee to the tunnel than into the locker room. the quicker you change, the faster you can get home and go to bed. you thought you covered up the fact you were in pain pretty well until elisa was standing beside you giving you a worried look. "are you okay?" she whispers to you. you just give her a tired smile while gesturing to your stomach.
she seems to get the message as she starts to focus on getting dressed back into her street clothes. you do the same, happy you wore sweatpants and a comfy t-shirt as your pre practice outfit. you try to pick up your backpack, but elisa beats you to it. she smirks at you, "i got it, babe." the french player slings your backpack over her shoulder before slinging her arm over your shoulder. "let's get you home, baby" she says as she starts to walk you towards the locker room door. you can't help yourself as you smile at her.
there were only a couple interruptions on y'all's way to the car. one being a small conversation with jackie which was nice and all, but you were hardly focusing on the words being exchanged between the other two players. it was concerning some dish jackie wanted elisa to try out, but you just couldn't seem to focus fully. the pain of your cramps drown out whatever words are said. you only remember smiling a goodbye to jackie before continuing to walk to the car.
elisa lets you go for a moment to open your car door for you. just a small thing she has been doing since you two started dating, but it still makes your heart race. you get into the car, leaning your head against the window the moment elisa shuts the door. your girlfriend opens the back door, putting y'all's bags in the backseat, before going around the car to get into the driver's seat. "safety before napping. put that seatbelt on, babe" elisa chuckles out as she snaps in her own seatbelt. you groan at her words but still obey as you snap in your own. "why did eve have to eat that apple? she ruined it for the rest of us" you say as your eyes flutter close. elisa just shakes her head before pulling off.
🍫🍫
you hardly remember getting out of the car once arriving at elisa and you's shared apartment. your mind and body just determined to make it to your bed where you could sleep away all the pain. elisa trails after you as you open the door to your apartment. the sound of her laughter fills the silence in your apartment as she watches you speed walk to y'all's bedroom.
in just five minutes, you were in soft pajamas and under the silk sheets you convinced elisa to buy (it wasn't a hard task in all honesty). the moment your head hits the pillow you are done for. falling asleep in mere minutes.
while you were trying to sleep away the pain, elisa was busy in the kitchen. making some nice hot chocolate to calm your cramps. she has experienced her own fair share of bad cramps, so she knew the pain first hand. a soft smile sits on her lips as she holds the mug of hot choco, making her way to you two's bedroom. the sight of you sleeping so peacefully makes her smile even wider. it almost makes her decide against waking you up, but she knows you would appreciate the drink.
elisa sits the mug on the night stand on your side of the bed before laying down on her side of the bed. she pulls you into her arms from behind. her front meeting your back. you naturally lean into the warmth. she trails light kisses on the back of your neck. "baby.." the french player says softly, placing another small kiss on the back of your ear. it takes a few more kisses for you to wake up.
waking up to kisses from your love was something you would never get tired of. the kisses may not make your cramps any better, but they warm your heart so it's better than nothing. "what is it, eli?" you say softly as you turn over (somehow missing the mug on the nightstand but it's okay elisa will remind you), facing her now. you nuzzle into her chest. "i know how bad your cramps can be, so i made a little something for you" she says as she points at the nightstand on your side of the bed. at first, you just nuzzle more into her but you can see the clear pout on her lips, from the small bit of your face that wasn't in her chest, as she continues to point. you groan (not because you didn't want to see her surprise. it's just the pain seem to be the least painful when you aren't moving) as you turn back over, your lips curl up into a warm smile once you see the mug. of course your girlfriend would think to make hot chocolate for you. that's just how elisa is; always thoughtful and trying her best to help you.
you sit up in bed, leaning against the pillows, as you grab the hot chocolate filled mug. elisa sits up as well. shuffling even closer to you before wrapping her arms around your waist. resting her head on your shoulder as she smiles. the warmth of her body against yours and the warmth of the hot chocolate as you take a sip makes the pain alittle duller.
"thank you for this, my love" you say to elisa as you give her a kiss on the cheek. she laughs as you pull away, leaving a chocolate colored kiss mark on her cheek. she can see your hot choco mustache (and some of the excess that is left on your lips) in it's pure glory as you two look at eachother. "no need to thank me, baby. this view is all the payment i need" elisa says. you take another sip of the hot chocolate before replying back, "so no more kisses for you?"
elisa smile drops as she narrows her eyes at you, "i didn't say all that. i think i still need some kisses in exchange for that hot choco. can't you help me with that, baby?"
there were alot more kisses after that. how else are you meant to repay your thoughtful girlfriend?

Hey!! Sorry if I’m bothering you and I know this is the second time I asked this but could you please do a deuce x fem!human! Reader ? Where deuce finds himself in our world and ends up meeting a human realizing humans aren’t as bad as he thought and ends up falling for her. An she has a rough home life.
Ice cream and Hot chocolate
A/n: Uh so I'm sorry this took so long since you sent this to me agggeeesss ago, but i was focusing on my book on wattpad so i hope you forgive me. This ones kinda long and I'm like not sure how good it is but i hope you enjoy anyways :). (P.s I wasnt sure what you meant by 'rough' home life so i kinda went with a mix of suggestions my friends gave me so- yeah... if you are going through something at home my dms are always open if you need to vent, i might not be able to give good responses but atleast you can get it out somewhere :)
POV: Y/n talks about her homelife with Deuce
Warnings: Mentions of arguing, brief mentions of cheating, mentions of abuse (brief), mention of divorce, Y/n is the eldest child, pRe-MaRiTaL hAnD-hOlDiNg (How scandalous), PrE-mArItAl KiSsInG (SOMEONE CALL THE CHURCH), pRe-MaRiTaL bReAtHiNg (MY EYES, MY EYES :O)
Monsters are real. That is something Y/n L/n has undoubtedly, unequivocally, and unquestionably known since she was a small child. Except monsters didn’t come in the shape of a pale creature with fangs or a woman with snakes for hair. No, monsters came in all shapes and sizes, almost always looking like your everyday human. The only thing that ever truly set them apart from regular humans was that monsters are cruel.
Monsters were cruel to everyone, even those they were supposed to care for and protect.
At least, that’s how she saw it.
Monsters are real. That is something Deuce Gorgon has undoubtedly, unequivocally, and unquestionably known since the day he was born. He didn’t really have much of a choice, given he was one.  Except monsters weren’t always evil, cruel beings. No, monsters were merely, beings. Sometimes they could be cruel but most of the time, they were kind beings just living their lives- or deaths- and navigating through their freaky flaws.
Monsters were just ordinary beings.
At least, that’s how he saw it.
Until he found himself in the human world. Whilst he’d never truly felt at home in the monster world- being a gorgon and all- yet, at least he knew he belonged in the monster world, here? He didn’t belong among humans. Not one bit. Or at least he didn’t.
Not before he met Y/n.
She was a human, that’s true. But even without knowing he was a monster she had shown him nothing but kindness since the day they’d met. The girl didn’t trust easy, he knew that. She was naturally quiet, seldom speaking unless spoken to and even then, it was only ever a few words… except when she was with him.
The moment the two had met they were instantly drawn to each other like magnets, they were each other’s rock, neither of them truly belonged in the human world (despite Y/n being a human) and yet with each other, they were home.
The two of them had met on accident, he hadn’t intended to appear in the human world, hadn’t intended to walk into a random middle school, he didn’t mean to lie and say he was a new student so he could stay in the human world just until he could figure out where he was and how to return to his own world.
He'd never intended to enter the library and lock eyes with a pretty H/c ghoul, her nose in a book and yet the moment she saw him she lowered it, tilting her head in curiosity.
He’d never wanted to enter his new math class, only to find it was a shared class with the ghoul, never intended for the only spare seat to be in the back of the class, next to her. Never thought that the two would bond almost instantly. He didn’t mean for their schedules for the rest of the day to happen to collide (Sitting next to her in every one of those classes however was no mistake).
He never intended to walk down the right hallway at the right time to find the ghoul sobbing in a corner, he wasn’t thinking when he rushed over to comfort her. Didn’t have to think to pull the ghoul into his arms, gently rubbing her back as he asked her what had happened. He had acted on instinct as he listened to her talk about a group of ghouls in her class who had been teasing her, still acting on instinct when he gave her words of reassurance, ignoring the feelings deep down, telling him that she wasn’t telling him the full truth.
Those first interactions had been a complete accident, the work of the gods themselves. And he couldn’t be more thankful for that.
One accidental trip into the human world turned to two, two to four, four to eight and soon enough he found himself visiting the human world whenever he got the opportunity, just to see the pretty H/c ghoul who sat at the back of the class, each visit resulting in him falling more and more impossibly infatuated with her.
He had been 13 when they’d met, had been 14 when he’d finally realised his feelings for her, it took him half a year to finally confess to her, now the two were 15, sitting together on a rooftop in New Jersey, watching cars drive by as they held each other’s hand, chatting mindlessly.
“-And then you wanna know what she said?”
“What?” Deuce hummed.
Y/n paused.
“…I forgot.”
Deuce chuckled and gently removed his hand from hers, wrapping his arm around her shoulders.
“What?” She asked, looking at him.
He smiled softly, looking down at the human.
“Nothing, you’re just cute is all.” He hummed, gently rubbing his hand up and down her arm.
“Oh, so me forgetting stuff is cute now, is it?” Y/n snarked, smirking.
Deuce snorted. “You know what I meant.” He stated.
“Do I?”
“Do you?”
“I do.” She admitted quietly, gently pressing a kiss to his cheek before leaning her head against his side.
“Good.” He murmured, pressing a soft kiss to the top of her head.
The two lovers sat there for a while, watching as the sun slowly set, the sky turning shades of pink and orange.
However, as a dark blue began to overtake the orange and pink Y/n suddenly straightened up, panic setting in as she saw the time on her watch.
“Crap!” She exclaimed “It’s getting late, I should be going.”
“Did you want me to walk you home?” Deuce offered, watching as the girl moved to gather her stuff.
“Uh- no, no it’s fine.” She stammered, taking a deep breath to steady herself.
“Are you sure? You seem stressed out.”
“I’m fine.” She stated, moving to climb down the roof, Deuce quickly following after.
“Y/n… What’s going on? Why are you so worried?” Deuce interrogated, gently grabbing her wrist.
“It’s nothing okay!” She snapped, pulling her arm away, before her eyes widened and she quickly softened “I-I just have to go… now.”
Deuce paused, narrowing his eyes as he thought of something before, he suddenly moved forward, interlinking their arms.
“Then I’ll join you.” He stated.
“Deuce- I said-”
“I know what you said Y/n, but I also worry about you so it’s either you tell me what’s going on, or I walk with you and figure it out myself.” Deuce interrupted.
“Fine.” She groaned “I hate you sometimes you know.” “You love me.” Deuce hummed “Now talk.”
She hesitated.
“My parents… they don’t really get on. They yell… a lot, pretty much all the time… sometimes it gets violent.” Y/n began her voice wavering “They yell about everything, money, us, cheating… my sisters and I have been hoping for years they’d get a divorce… it would be better for everyone that way.”
“Do they ever… do anything to you and your sisters?” Deuce asked quietly.
Y/n shook her head.
“Only when its really bad… and when they do I make sure that everything’s directed at me… Older sister things y’know?” Y/n said as the two walked down the dark street “I tend to make sure they don’t have to experience that.”
“You’re a good older sister.” Deuce murmured.
“I know.” Y/n hummed, glancing at the dark street names.
“Why didn’t you tell me this was happening?” Deuce asked.
“Why would I? All it would do is worry you.” She stated.
“I could’ve helped, you could’ve talked to me about how you were feeling, I could’ve stayed over when it got bad.” Deuce said.
Y/n snorted.
“Ah yes wonderful idea, ‘Hey mother, father, here’s my boyfriend of six months that I’m not supposed to have, who has dyed his hair bright green which you definitely do not approve of, but it’s okay because he’s constantly wearing a beanie no matter the weather so you can’t even see it and don’t worry, he’s just here to interfere with our personal family business.’ Great idea Deuce, that’ll go down swimmingly.” Y/n spoke sarcastically before pausing “Sorry that was mean.”
“It was just a suggestion.” “I know, I know and it’s sweet you care, shows you love me but… this is family stuff, I shouldn’t drag you into it.” She spoke “It’s not fair on you.”
“Fine.” Deuce spoke “But just promise me, you’ll call me when things get bad, so I can help you, we’re in this together okay?”
“I promise.” Y/n smiled, glancing up at him before stopping in front of a house “Uh- this is me.” “You want me to walk you in?” He offered.
She shook her head, glancing at the house, sounds of yelling echoing out.
“I’ll be fine.” She murmured “I’m used to it by now.” Y/n moved towards the door, Deuce watching from the driveway, however just as she’d reached it, two little girls ran out in tears.
“How bad is it?” Was all Y/n asked, wrapping her arms around the girls.
“Really bad.” The taller of the girls mumbled into Y/ns waist. Y/n paused, glancing at Deuce. “How about we get some ice cream and hot chocolate… I’m sure there’s a place that’s open.” Y/n suggested.
The girls nodded and Y/n gently grabbed their hands, bringing them over to Deuce.
“Deuce, we’re going to get ice cream and hot chocolate, did you want to come?” Y/n offered.
“I thought this was ‘family stuff’.” Deuce smirked.
“I know but you’re paying so you have to come.” Y/n retorted.
“Oh, am I now?” “Yup!” Y/n stuck her tongue out at him and rushed ahead, her sisters tailing behind.
Deuce shook his head before following after the human girl.

After his manslaughter trial, Corey took a bus out of Haddonfield one weekend to get away from it all, and he ended up where you live.  It's barely a scattering of a town, but it has a truck stop and a bus stop, so it gets enough traffic to have a motel and bar, which are in the same parking lot.  You work at the bar.
The night you met, he was already at the bar when you clocked in.  The first thing you noticed was his enormous hand dwarfing his drink, making it look like an airplane bottle.  There was something so hot about his knuckles and the way he held the bottle.  He caught you looking and smiled shyly.  That's when you started noticing his beautiful face.  His strong nose.  The pain behind his glasses.  There was an intensity about him, too. All his gloom and cowering.
Corey didn't really drink much of his beer.  He mostly played with the label.  You offered to get him something else, and he asked for chocolate milk.  You thought he was joking, but when you giggled, he looked at you earnestly with big dairy cow eyes magnified by his glasses.  Your heart melted.  When you said you didn't have any chocolate milk, he was dejected. "Yeah, I figured."
When you saw that sad look in his eyes, you suddenly recognized him.  He was much hotter and bigger in person than he was on the news.  Face to face with him, there was no doubt in your mind that Jeremy's death was an accident.  You felt awful for Corey. You just wanted to give him a hug.  You took him under your wing.
You offered to make him a mudslide on the house instead of chocolate milk. You promised he'd like it.  You made it with extra chocolate syrup, and he loved it.  He perked up.  It was a slow night, so you chatted with him.  Got to know him a little bit.  You egged him on to take an oatmeal cookie shot with you, not realizing he was a total lightweight.  It really didn't take more than that before he was giggling and slurring, flirting with you one minute, then getting emotional the next.  He never talked about the accident, but he talked about his home life and it didn't sound good.  He played early Modest Mouse on the jukebox.  You didn't let him leave your sight.   His drunkenness was your doing, after all.
-
He had a room at the motel.  When you got off work, you walked him back there to make sure he was safe.  He invited you in, and you thought you'd stay just long enough to let him get settled.   He didn't ask in a seductive way.  It was somewhere between lonely and friendly.  You were enjoying his company, anyway.   But when he started removing his multiple layers of clothing and you saw what was underneath, there was no going back for you.  Holy shit, he was solid. He took off his henley, revealing thick arms and strong pecs.    And he kept stripping, too.  No inhibitions.
While you were quietly distracted by his body, his mood darkened a little.  He laid down on the bed and said he never wanted to go back home.  His lip was quivering.  By that point, he was in just his briefs and glasses, with a plaid blanket he brought from home draped haphazardly across half his body.  You told him you understood and offered to make him lunch at the bar the next day if he wanted to talk more about it.   He asked you not to leave.
You put Ghost Adventurers quietly on the TV and laid on the bed with him. There was something pathetic about him being in underwear and glasses and you being fully dressed.  So when spread out his blanket and invited you under it,  you took off your pants first.  Then, you cozied up to him and stroked his hair comfortingly as he nuzzled into the hollow of your neck.
He looked at you affectionately and you kissed him on the head.  Then, he lifted his head and looked at you longingly, and you kissed him on the mouth.  You held him and kissed him, and he kissed you, as you half-watched the show.  Soon enough, you were kissing more than watching.  You abandoned the show completely as you made out and things heated up.  He kissed you like you were an oasis in the desert. You probably were.
You nestled a leg between his meaty thighs and palmed his chest.  His body took your breath away.  A hardness in his briefs started poking your thigh.  By the time you grabbed his cock, he was rock hard and whimpering for you.  The moment you held his naked girth in your hand, you gasped softly as butterflies swarmed in your chest and core.  You badly, badly needed him.
“I want to be with you,” he whispered. “I want you so bad.”  He moaned and whimpered as you moved the skin on his thick shaft.
You couldn't think it through.  You couldn't think at all.  All your blood had rushed somewhere else.
Corey fumbled at your bra.  There was something on his face, like he could hardly believe it was happening.  He struck you as almost virginal.  You took the lead and put a condom on him, then mounted him.  He let out a low, breathy groan as you sank onto his impressive cock with a moan of your own.  It felt so right, filling yourself with his cock.  It was the perfect stretch.  You rode him and his hips lifted into you desperately.  You leaned into him for friction as you rolled into him.  His massive hands held your thighs and he'd say things in his low, sexy voice like "You feel so good" and "God, you're beautiful."
He came pretty fast, but you were close.  You finished yourself off and he was eager to help and learn.  You fell asleep in bed with him.
-
You woke up before dawn with Corey spooning you, his arms holding you tight, both of you nude.   His morning wood was upright and dug into your lower back and crack until you gently shifted it between your thighs.  He rutted against your slick seam in his sleep.  Before long, you were desperate for a second round.  You put his huge hand on your hard nipple and traced the veins from his wrist to his fingers.
You were too desperate to be smart, but at least you were on the pill.  As soon as he stirred awake and kissed your neck, you reached down between your legs and guided his cock just inside you.  The moan that erupted from his mouth set you on fire.  Your whole body felt like it could burst at any moment.  He buried himself inside you, holding your breast, breathing heavily in your ear.  He kissed your neck, moaning, sighing, rolling his hips, filling you with his thick, hard cock, lasting longer this time.  As soon as you came, he pulled out, then you felt his hot cum on the small of your back.
You cuddled for a while after that and fell back asleep.   When you next woke up, sticky with his cum between you, you rolled over and faced Corey.  He was affectionate, looking deep into your eyes, stroking your hair, telling you how much he liked you.  You kept thinking, he hardly knew you.  You didn't know if he would like you as much if he did.  Those days, you didn't want to let anyone get close enough to find out.  You had gone through a rough patch of your own and your self worth hadn't yet recovered.
-
You went home to shower before work and you brought a bottle of chocolate milk back to the bar with you.  You knew Corey would come for lunch and hoped it would cheer him up if he was feeling blue again.  When you gave him the chocolate milk that you brought just for him. . . he looked at you like he was in love with you.  That moment gave you more than an inkling you were leading him on.  You didn't mean to – you really liked him – you were just afraid and dealing with your own issues at the time.
Your affection for him began to get drowned out by discomfort.  Your kindness alone might not have been construed as anything more than that.  But you fucked him twice . . . And you wondered if you were his first.   Every nice gesture after that would only bond him to you more.
Corey stayed at the bar all day, not really drinking much.  While you were busy, he poorly played pool and darts.  When it was slow, he talked to you, but it wasn't the same fun, casual banter you enjoyed the night before.  There was a puppy dog vibe, like you owned him and he was lost without you. That scared you because you didn't want to hurt him more than he'd already been hurt in the past year.   You didn't want to get his hopes up for something more and have the whole thing become another disappointment.
You shut down and told him you had to go somewhere after work.   As much as your body wanted to go back to his motel room, your gut was telling you that you didn't have the capacity to nurture him the way he needed.  He was clearly upset when he left but tried not to show it.  He said he was going back to Haddonfield but hoped to see you again.  There must have been hell to pay when he got back, from what he shared with you about his mother.
-
After he went back to Haddonfield, he texted you piningly as if you were dating.  He was trying to make plans for when to see each other again.  He even mused about getting a job in your town.  You told him you weren't ready for a relationship and needed to spend some time alone.
He tried to convince you.  Eventually, he left you alone, but you always wondered if he'd be back one day.  You actually missed him.  You thought about him over the next year or two as you got yourself together.  He was a good guy.  You started to realize maybe you shouldn't have sabotaged yourself.  You were as worthy and deserving of love as anyone else.  But it was too late, you thought.
****************
Present Day :  November 2022
You’re closing the bar tonight. It’s slow, with just a couple of regulars slumped over the bar exchanging occasional words. Given the recent carnage in nearby Haddonfield, people haven't been going out as much.  There might as well be a curfew.  Some people still don't believe Michael is dead.  Others speculate about him having a partner still at large. The regulars have been walking you to your car every night just in case.
You’re restocking the liquor and eavesdropping on the latest gossip between the regulars when a burly, dark shape walks in alone.  He sits down at the bar and orders a beer.  You give it to him without fully  meeting his eyes and don’t recognize him until you see those hands dwarfing the bottle and do a double take.  Sure enough, he has the same pinky ring.  No glasses or jacket.  Blue button-up shirt with the collar popped.  Blue khakis.  His hair is dark, and his curls are wild.   His face is banged up.  A fresh cut bridges his nose.  He’s muscular, imposing.  His presence is intimidating.  He's like a different man.
You realize you’re staring.  “Corey,” you say.  “I’m sorry I didn’t recognize you.”
There’s a long moment of silence, like he’s waiting for you to say something more.  He looks at the bottle in his hand and takes a sip.
“You’re sorry you didn’t recognize me?” He smiles disturbingly.  His voice gives you butterflies between your legs and takes you right back to that motel room two years ago.  His throat bobs as he takes another sip from the tiny-looking bottle.
“And I’m sorry I didn’t text you back," you add.
“Yeah,” he says, raising a brow.  He holds eye contact and his jaw clenches. "You know, you also took something from me."  Your heart sinks.  His virginity?  You always suspected it.
“I shouldn't have," you say.
"Oh, you regret it?" He challenges you. You're squirming, and he seems to be enjoying it.
"Of course not. Just, I wasn’t in a place where I could handle–"
"-me," he sighs.
"I'm sorry.”
He shrugs.  "Apology accepted,” he says unconvincingly.   “What place are you in now?”
"Um, good question."  You look around and decide not to answer.  His erect collar catches your eye again, drawing attention to his facial injuries.   God, he looks hot.
He smirks as he notices you checking him out.
“You look good,” you say, wiping the bar with a rag.  “I’ll be back.”  You pour the regulars a round.  Corey keeps his eyes on you like a hawk.   You’re wearing a skirt and fishnet stockings – better tips that way.
When you come back, you ask Corey what brings him into town.  He tells you he’s on his way out of the area for good.  "And I'm taking you with me," he adds matter-of-factly.
You're stunned. Your lips part but you don't know how to react.
He rolls his eyes and adds, "If you want, of course."
You ask him what he’s going to do.  He looks around and answers obtusely, “Maybe I’ll practice my pool game.”  His gravelly voice really does something to you.  Your butterflies aren't fading, they're multiplying.
You get the triangle of pool balls from under the bar and hand it to him, forcing a smile.  His large hand wraps around yours as he takes it and there’s a spark between you.  He holds your gaze then walks back to the billiards.  He racks the balls and rolls up his sleeves.  You forget to blink. He must have put on at least 15 kg of muscle, and he was already built before.  He grabs a cue stick off the wall and comes around the table so his ass is facing you.  He bends over and looks back at you before he takes the break shot.  You look away and start cleaning the counter again, but your eyes keep returning to him.
-
You bring him his drink and he thanks you.
You linger and ask,“How'd you get so good?"
He looks you up and down and shrugs.  “Grab a cue.  I’ll show you.”
You look at the bar and it’s still those regulars.  You know they’ll be there until closing.  You grab a stick off the wall.
Corey crosses his toned arms and says, “Show me what you’ve got.”   His eyes are dark.  Part of you finds his presence unnerving, but the warm, wet part of you is grateful for the excuse to bend over in front of him.
You lean over the pool table and Corey crowds you.  You don't mind the cliche when he gets all the way up against you to show you how it’s done.  He puts both his huge hands over yours.  His hands are as scratched up as his face.  His chin rests on your shoulder, and his body leans into yours.
He says, "First lesson."  A hardness swells against your skirt, then his lips brush your ear.  “Don’t start something you can't finish,” he whispers. You swallow.  His hand on yours takes the shot, and a ball rolls into a pocket.
“I’m sorry,” you whisper as you begin to stand upright.  You turn your head and try to turn your body, but he has you pinned to the table.
“Or someone will have to finish it for you,” he adds, then his lips barely brush the skin below your ear.  Your ass subtly pushes back into him before you can stop it.  He takes the cue and places the stick on the table.  His massive hands feel up the sides of your thighs, sliding up under your skirt.  His breath is hot on your cheek as he grinds his arousal into you.   Your breath hitches and all your blood rushes to your loins.  He gives you space to turn around.
“Closing time, right?,” Corey says, looking at the clock behind you.  He reaches around you and picks up the bottle to take a sip of his beer.
Your heart flutters.“Yeah, it’s just a few minutes-”
He slams his empty bottle down and walks over to the jukebox and puts on Nine Inch Nails.
You straighten your skirt and compose yourself to go close out the regulars.
One of them asks if you’re good and you say yes.  He yells over to Corey telling him to walk you to your car.
Corey gives him a thumbs up and a smile that sends a chill down your spine.  The regulars leave.
Your face is warm as you look at Corey and come back out from behind the bar.
“Should I go?” He booms from the billiards table over the music.  The last thing you want is for him to leave.  You know you shouldn’t let him stick his crazy in you, but you’re thinking with the wrong head.
“It's okay. I still have some clean-up,” you say.  You wipe down the other end of the bar as he plays pool.  You start stacking chairs on top of tables, and you get to the one that’s closest to him.  You watch him with your heart racing.  You're getting wetter and wetter as he clears all the balls and puts the cue sticks back on the wall.
He leans his ass and both hands against the pool table and crosses his ankles.  His jaw clenches.
"Here's the deal. I'll leave if you want.  But if I stay. . . you're really mine this time."  He looks you dead in the eye.
You don't say anything.  You step closer and start to grab the empty bottle beside him, but before you touch it, he intercepts you with a large, veiny hand on your wrist.  He brings your hand to the bulge in his pants and his lips part as he stares at you darkly.  Your palm meets the hardness in his pants, and it sends a tingling rush through your body.  The cut on the bridge of his nose intensifies the darkness of his gaze.
“So, what's it going to be?” Corey asks. The vein on his neck bulges.
You swallow.  You can’t form words.  You remember to blink, and your eyelashes flutter.
He lets go of your hand, but you leave it on his pants.  He subtly thrusts into your palm and your fingers involuntarily cradle his girth.  You find your body gravitating closer.  His eyes look back and forth between yours.  Your eyelids are getting heavy as you look back at him.
He presses you for an answer.  "Should I leave?"
Your eyes close and you take a deep breath.  “No,” you whisper.
“Are you sure?”  He lightly strokes your temple with his thumb as he searches your eyes.  “Because once you're mine, I’m not letting go.”  His dark eyes smile.
This is bad.  You know better.  You know *so much* better.  Tell him to leave.  Tell him to never come back.  You beg your legs to walk away, but they don’t.
His face gets closer, and his hands come to your hips.  His nose brushes yours and your mouth hungrily accepts his perfect  lips.  He swells harder into your hand.  His lips move from your mouth to your neck, and he kisses, then licks, then marks you as though to illustrate his point.
-
He steps out from between you and the pool table and your hand falls empty as he gets behind you again like he was earlier with the cue stick.  He grinds his thick arousal into you and his hands rove your thighs.  He lifts up your skirt so the bulge of his pants is against your stockings and he sighs. His khakis are smooth and soft and his bulge is hard and warm.  You're absolutely aching for him.
It doesn't help that the song “Closer" is starting to play. Your primitive self is taking over.
"You should give in," he says in a low voice. "But I'm not going to make you. Say the word and I'm gone"
For a moment, he allows a couple of inches of space between your ass and his pants, and you ache for him closer again.
"Don't go," your cock-blind mouth whispers.
He closes the gap and chews on the nape of your neck as he grinds into you.  One of his hands comes between the two of you.  His large knuckles graze your ass.  You hear his zipper, and a wave of arousal floods your body.
"Really? Think you can handle it?" He asks.
He's not talking about his cock, but it's the only thing on your mind.  You barely nod.
After a few seconds of rustling, his warm, stiff arousal smashes into the nook at the bottom of your ass, his skin on your skin through the soft diamonds of your stockings.  Corey's arm hooks around you and nestles between your breasts as his large hand wraps around your neck as he inhales the crown of your head.  His huge fingers apply light pressure to your neck and his forearm flexes,  making your knees weak with desire.  He could probably strangle you with that one big hand.  You don't flinch.  The pressure intensifies briefly before abruptly turning into a caress.  Then, he sucks the hell out of your neck. The pain puckers your nipples, and goosebumps prickle across your body.
His other hand slides around your waist, under your shirt, under your bra, and cups your breast, palming your hard nipple while he grinds his hardness into your ass and kisses the nape of your neck.  He crosses both hands in front of you and you let him take off your shirt.  Then, he expertly removes your bra.  He gropes your breasts and stomach and breathes heavily into your ear, his hardness thickening against you.
-
He turns you around to face him.  His chest rises and falls as he looks at you.  His hard girth presses into your front.  He hikes your skirt up all the way over your ass, wraps his arms around you, and grabs your ass with both of his hands.   One hand slides down your crack, the heel of his palm pressing down on your stockings between your cheeks, then creeps between your legs.  Two of his thick digits run lightly - unbearably lightly - over your clit, then he slips them inside the soaked crotch of your stockings and your ample wetness meets his meaty fingers.
"Fuck," he says. Your hips roll into him and tension coils tightly in your core.   His other hand massages you from the front.  You're engulfed by both his large hands, one from the back and one from the front.  Meanwhile, his nose drags across your neck and shoulder inhaling your scent.
The thick fingers from each hand meet at a single diamond hole in the stockings, and he rips them wide open.  Your thighs tremble.  You want him so bad, he can take you anywhere he wants.
You practically jump up onto the pool table and lift your knees as he spreads them.  One huge hand on the small of your back steadies you there while his other hand holds his hard cock.  He looks down at himself then up at you as he thumbs the tip where precum is beading.
"Last chance to back out," he whispers gruffly with a snarl.  Your legs wrap around him before you can think. You can't speak.  You just barely shake your head no.
He drags his swollen tip along your dripping cunt and leaves it nestled at your entrance.  Both his hands come behind you and he teases your warm, wet hole with short thrusts.  Not even the head is fully penetrating you. The tension deep inside you coils tighter and warmer.  Your whole body is dizzy with need for him.
"You really want it that bad," he breathes, looking at you with black eyes.  "Bad enough to give up everything."
Warmth rushes your face.  You nod and your eyes water at your lack of restraint. The swollen head of his cock begins to breach your entrance.  The stretch makes you gasp.  You don’t remember it being like this.  He plunges into you, parting your insides, filling you to the brim.  His hips rock into you, fucking you slowly and smoothly at first, but soon he begins to bury himself inside you more forcefully.  The coil in your core pulses and threatens to spring you open.
Each thrust fills you with something you can't even describe.  You've never felt anything like this, not even when you fucked him before. Your whole body feels electrified.  An energy you don't understand is pouring out of him and into you as your bodies become one.  His cock makes you physically complete.  You start to miss it even while it's still inside you.  The thought of even an inch of air between you stings your eyes.  You never want to be apart.
He feels so fucking good, and the way he glides so firm and full inside you, the way he holds you, it's all so perfect.  You think, why not? Why not go with him? His pace quickens with his arms tight around you, using the edge of the pool table for balance as he thrusts into you.
He grunts softly into your ear, and you know you can’t hold off much longer.   "Fuck, you feel good," he growls.  "You were made for me."  The sound of his voice sends you.  You moan as the rush floods your body in waves.  You flutter around his cock and his big hands grip your ass.  He pulls you even tighter into him and grunts with each of your contractions.  He erupts  inside you in enormous pulses, filling you up with his hot seed.
As he catches his breath, he takes your hands in his and closes his eyes.  When he opens his eyes, they're watery.  "I've wanted this for so long," he says.  "I thought about you so much." His arms engulf you as you sit on the table.
“Meet Your Master” starts playing.
"I thought about you, too," you say into his chest.
"No," he says confidently.  He slowly adds, "You have no idea how much I've thought about you.  How many times and ways."  He kisses your head then your lips, and the kiss becomes passionate.  He pulls back and looks at you, reading your face like a book.  His Adam's apple bobs as he swallows. "You've been mine all along."  He strokes your hair.  "And I won't ever let you go again."
Your stomach turns a little, but he kisses you hard, and it drowns out the doubt for now.
His eyes darken to black, and his voice deepens.  "Because if I can't have you, no one will."

The Night Shift.
Tumblr media
Johnnie Guilbert x Fem!Reader.
part 19.
"No, no," i laughed. "im not going to make you help me." i shook my head, continuing to work on the huge order i had received the previous night for a wedding.
"You're not making me help you. I want to." he slid his hands over the glass case, gripping onto the edge.
"You wholeheartedly want to help me?" i raise my eyebrow at him, "im fine by myself. It's not a big deal."
"Exactly, it's not a big deal. if you teach me how to make drinks and shit we can get this order done 2 times faster." he looked at his phone, "we only have 2 hours to complete it, anyway."
my stomach dropped. "theres only 2 hours left?!" i sighed heavily, "fine. let me go grab an apron from the back."
i grabbed a spare apron and quickly brought it back out to him. i tossed it to him and watched as he quickly put it on.
"Well, get your ass back here." i beckoned him, "dont worry, I'll pay you for helping me."
he immediately shook his head, "dont, im volunteering."
"Whatever," i gave in, knowing I'd end up paying him in the morning. "we need to make a couple of batches of croissants and a shit ton of hot chocolate. dont ask me why someone would want that for their wedding, but i dont judge."
"Easy, so how do i do that?" i rolled my eyes at him.
"Come with me." he followed me back into the kitchen. "Grab the 2 biggest pans over there on the rack." he did as told as i took the bucket of pre-made dough out of the fridge.
i dumped it out onto the counter, taking a rolling pin and beginning to work the dough. i rolled out half of the dough to be flat and cut the other half off.
he set the pans onto the counter next to me. "Now what?"
i handed him a knife, "Cut this dough into triangles like this." i took his hand gently and showed him how to cut the dough.
"Easy enough," he smiled at me before getting to work. concentration washed over his face as he worked hard, trying not to disappoint me.
i began to roll out the other half of the dough, occasionally bumping him with my elbow, causing us both to giggle. "So, come here often?" i say, awkwardly trying to fill the silence.
he looked over and smiled, "occasionally. so, is this some special family secret dough or something?"
"Yeah, actually. my mom likes to add pinches of random seasonings to whatever she makes, and this one kinda stuck. but i'm not telling you the secret." i smirked, nudging his elbow.
he dramatically rolled his eyes, "Fine, i guess." he replied sarcastically.
after all of the triangles had been made, i taught him how to roll them up. "we gotta make this shit quick, we got an hour left, and that's just enough time. we still have to hustle." i dusted off my hands, "i'm going to go prepare the hot chocolate. i trust you to do this, can you?"
he nodded quickly, "Yeah, it's pretty simple."
"Okay," i said cautiously, "i'll be back."
i walked out to the front part of the kitchen, the part that's visible to the public, and began the big batch of hot cocoa. i boiled exactly a gallon of milk and added, per usual, my mothers hot chocolate mix. i always thought my mother was crazy, making everything by hand. but it was her passion, and i dare say it rubbed off on me, too.
i glanced into the kitchen, watching how johnnies hands quickly rolled up each croissant. his eyebrows were slightly furrowed together. i heard him humming to himself softly, and the sight made butterflies erupt in my stomach. i realized Johnnie was the most handsome and kind person i had ever met.
while waiting for the hot chocolate to finish brewing, i stepped back into the kitchen. i approached  johnnie quietly, startling him as my hand patted his back. "You did really well, actually. That was super quick." Feeling as if i was about to throw up from the mix of butterflies and anxiety, i leaned over and kissed his cheek.
his face turned red as he tried to stay focused. "t-thank you." he shot me a soft smile before stepping back and washing off his hands.
i lined them up neatly on the tray, making sure to put just enough spacing so i could fit larger portions on the two trays. everything surprisingly went smoothly, and i slid them in the oven.
i sighed contently, "At least we got all the hard work done. now, we just gotta let everything cook, and then we can pack it. Does that sound okay?" i checked with johnnie.
"Yeah, of course." he took the apron off and hung it back with the others. "That was actually really fun." he admitted.
i scoffed, putting my hand on my hip, "you thought it wouldn't be?"
he rolled his eyes, "im just saying,"
i ran my hand down his arm as i walked past, "i know, johnnie. im messing with you." i pulled a couple of boxes out of the cabinet and set them up. i tossed him a stack of cups. "Would you mind pouring the hot chocolate?"
he caught them and agreed, walking over to the counter and getting straight to work. as he poured all of the drinks, i checked on the croissants and pulled them out of the oven.
i set them aside to cool enough so i could put them in the box. there was roughly 15 minutes before the man was going to pick them up.
with johnnies help, we finished everything with 5 minutes to spare. we stacked the boxes and put at least 50 mugs of hot chocolate in holders. we stood back to admire our work. he sighed heavily, "i think we did it."
i smiled. "You think? i really wouldn't have been able to do it without you."
he turned to me, stepping closer so that we were face to face. "i dont know, i think you would've made it. there's not much you can't do." he encouraged.
i stayed silent, staring into his bright blue eyes as i smiled. he pulled me in for a hug, his hand smoothing out my hair, holding my face closer to his chest. "Thank you so much for your help."
"Anytime. can i help again sometime?"
"Only if i can pay you." i caved.
"i dont- y/n," he pulled away, "i dont need the money. i actually like helping, i dont wanna be paid for that."
i hesitated, "If you insist." A man walked in dressed in a tux. "Hello! are you here to pick up the wedding order?"
"Hey, beautiful. yes, i am. are you the same woman i spoke to over the phone?" his voice was soft, almost forcibly soft as he spoke.
i glanced to johnnie, notcing how jealousy was written all over his face. "Yeah, i am." i nodded towards the stack of items. "heres your order."
"You're much prettier than i imagined. do you think i could get your number?" he smirked, pulling out his phone.
i glanced to johnnie, silently asking him to help. i was scared to reject the man. "i-"
johnnie spoke up. "She's taken, sorry."

Jim kind of expected someone to come after the funeral. A social worker or orphanage owner or however this shit worked. Did orphanages still exist, or was that just in movies? He never thought he'd have to think about it.
But no one came.
Well, people came. His friends, Mom and Dad's friends, Rabbi Geller, other people from temple, Liz's friends' parents, even Liz's teacher from the elementary school. They brought food, and said I'm sorry for your loss and May their memory be a blessing so many times that the words lost all meaning.
It felt like the kind of thing Mom would tell him to just be polite for, but Mom wasn’t here. Mom would never be here again. It still didn’t feel real.
But that wasn't what he meant. Someone was supposed to come get them, right? Because he was only fifteen, and Liz was only eleven, and they didn’t have any other family. Right?
Someone was going to come help him, right?
Liz was a nightmare. Jim felt like he didn’t even have a second to think. He was used to watching Liz- Mom and Dad worked long hours, after all- but now it was all time, especially because they hadn’t gone back to school yet.
She was throwing another tantrum. Jim felt like they were only getting worse. He cringed as a plate flew into the wall, shattering with a crash barely audible above Liz’s incessant screeching.
“Lizzie, you gotta stop. You’re too old for this.” Jim fought off his pounding headache as he got right in front of her, blocking her as she reared her arm back to throw another.
“No I’m not!” she yelled, darting to the side and throwing the plate as hard as she could, shattering it against the wall. Tears streamed down her face.
Jim let out an exasperated groan. “Stop! Yes you are! Go to your room!”
“You can’t tell me what to do!” Liz ran back into the kitchen.
Fuck, she was gonna get another plate. Jim ran after her, blocking the cabinet. “Yes I can! I’m in charge now, go to your room!”
“I hate you!” Liz shouted. She kicked him in the shin before running up the stairs, slamming her door.
Jim rubbed his temple, his headache only getting worse. He thought about breaking into Mom and Dad’s drink. It wasn’t like anyone was around to stop him. But he didn’t.
Instead, he fought back tears and grabbed the broom and dustpan. He was tired of crying. Just when he was finishing cleanup, Liz appeared at the top of the stairs, holding her bear tight in her arms. She hadn’t carried that thing around since she was 6, but things were different now, he figured.
You calmed down yet?” he asked.
“Sorry.” She squeezed her bear tighter, avoiding eye contact.
Jim shrugged, dumping the last of the shatters in the trash. “It’s cleaned up now anyway.” His eyes drifted over to the stove. “How about I make some hot chocolate?”
“But it’s summer,” Liz protested half-heartedly.
“Who cares? We’re sitting shiva,” Jim pointed out. “Do you not want hot chocolate?”
“...I want it.” She sat herself on the couch.
This was something he could do without fucking up, at least. He barely even had to think about it, just focus on the steps. Set some whole milk over heat. Cocoa powder, sugar, a dash of vanilla, and the part people always miss: chocolate chips and a little bit of cinnamon.
He poured in some half-and-half to make it extra creamy and cool it enough that Liz wouldn’t burn herself, and topped it with some mini marshmallows before bringing the mugs out, handing one to Liz.
“Thanks,” she mumbled, sipping immediately without blowing on it.
“You’re gonna burn your mouth, stupid,” Jim chided lightheartedly.
Liz rolled her eyes. “No I’m not ‘cause you always put extra milk in after.”
“Because you never give it a minute to cool down!” He ruffled her hair. “No more throwing shit, okay? Or if you need to, use stuffed animals or something. Why’d you do that, anyway?”
Liz was quiet for a long moment, sipping her drink. “I dunno,” she mumbled.
“How about next time you wanna do that, come get me. We can make it into a game, yeah? We could play catch or something. Not with plates,” he suggested.
“It’s not supposed to be a game.” She took another sip, eyes too stormy for an eleven year old.
Jim took the blanket off the back of the couch and draped it around Liz’s shoulders. “Okay. Come get me anyway. We’ll figure it out.”
-
No one from the government came. Even after a week. Even after they were done sitting shiva and Jim made Liz start going back to school, another nightmare of an argument.
He wished he could’ve asked Mom or Dad for advice. Liz almost always listened to them, at least about the important stuff. It felt like someone was tearing a fresh shred in his heart every time he missed them.
After he finished walking her, he turned and made his way to temple on a whim. He only went to temple a couple times a year, on the holidays when Mom wanted everyone to go as a family. He hadn’t even brought his kippah. But he doubted anyone would really care, and he needed advice, and it was this or a teacher, even if Jim hadn’t talked to the guy since his bar mitzvah. Before the funeral, that is.
“Hey, Rabbi Geller.”
“Good morning, James.” The rabbi gave him a sad smile. “How are you and your sister holding up?”
“Uh, y’know.” He shrugged awkwardly. “I was wondering if I could talk to you for a sec?”
“Of course. Let’s go to my office for some privacy.” The rabbi led him to the office and gestured for him to sit. “What can I do for you?”
“I’m not here for anything, uh, spiritual or whatever,” he clarified quickly. “I just needed some advice about something. Um, is someone gonna... come get us?”
The rabbi’s brows furrowed in concern. “No one’s come to get you? Who is it you and your sister will be staying with? I know Beth said she didn’t have much family...”
“Mom and Dad were both wards of the state or whatever,” Jim said awkwardly. “Kinda thought we would be too, now. But, uh... no one came. I wasn’t really sure what to do. Plus Liz is throwing things and refusing to go to school and stuff.”
“I’m so sorry you’ve been left floundering. I should have been there to see to it.” The rabbi sighed. “Things have been hectic. This flu’s taken quite a toll. It’s lucky you even caught me here. If you ever need something and can’t find me, the funeral home’s likely where I am.”
Jim knew he was one of the lucky ones. He and Liz both got sick too, but they recovered. It was no wonder they all got it, with Mom being a nurse and all. He didn’t really feel lucky right now.
“The government... tends to overlook this town,” the rabbi continued. “No one wants to come here, even during the day when it’s safe. I can certainly get in touch with people for you and make sure someone gets you two set up in a foster home. I’d just like you to think about your options first.”
“Options?” Jim questioned.
“James, do you remember your bar mitzvah two years ago? I sure do. You were very well-spoken.” The rabbi gave him a kind smile.
“Uh-huh.” He kicked his feet, unsure where this was going.
“A bar mitzvah is when a boy becomes a man, as we discussed. Now, I certainly don’t believe a thirteen year old boy to be a man in the modern day, nor a fifteen year old boy. But you are the man of the house now, and you’re going to have to make some adult decisions no one should have to make at your age.”
The rabbi sighed again, his breath full of grief. “The foster system isn’t known for its kindness. I’m not sure how much your parents have told you of their own experiences. Children your age aren’t likely to be adopted, and you’ll be spit out three years later and possibly separated from your sister. Since no one’s come to claim you, one option you have is to continue living where you are. Your parents managed to buy a house here, and you won’t get much from its sale, if you’re able to sell it at all- again, this town is not most people’s destination."
Mom and Dad didn’t like to talk about their childhoods much, and Jim never pried. He figured that if they didn’t want him to know, he didn’t want to know either.
“This isn’t a decision you have to make right away. You’re grieving. Someone from the state may come to collect you yet. Both options have their benefits, and I don’t want to force you into either one of them. Just know that I’m here if you need anything I can provide, and that God is watching over you,” the rabbi said warmly.
Jim could barely hear anything over Liz’s crying and the sounds of the hospital. One of the nurses was trying to pry her off of Dad’s body, but he was too focused on Mom to pay much attention.
She wasn’t conscious anymore. Her last words before she fell asleep were ‘I love you’, and that scared him, because he knew she probably did that on purpose.
He prayed and prayed, despite his unsure feelings of God’s existence. It was the only thing he could do. Tears streamed down his face as he offered more and more words to the higher power Mom believed in with her whole heart, his voice still raspy from his own recently-gotten-over flu.
He wasn’t sure whether it was the ringing in his ears or the flatline until a nurse pushed him out of the way.
“I don’t really believe in that stuff anymore,” Jim muttered.
“Yes, I imagine you might not. That’s perfectly normal.” The rabbi gave him a pat on the shoulder. “Still, I’m certainly real, and I’m here for whatever you need.”
Jim knew that didn’t include taking them in. Rabbi Geller had four kids of his own, and no one lived here if they had a lot of money.
“Thanks, Rabbi. Um, thanks for the advice. And for not just calling the government on me and letting me pick and whatever. I’ll think about it.”
-
Liz was being a brat again after Jim walked her home from school. Before Mom and Dad died, she only had bad days every once in a while, but now it was every single day. Wild mood swings where she’d get angry and even violent, before she calmed down and apologized tearfully.
Part of him, the part he’d never dream of voicing, almost wanted to take Rabbi Geller’s offer to help them get placed in a foster home in the hopes they do get separated. He didn’t know how much more of this he could take.
But he knew he didn’t actually want that.
“I’m sorry,” Liz said, helping him tidy up the living room after she’d finished trashing it. As if reading his mind, she asked, “You’re not gonna go too, right?”
Maybe she could just sense how irritated he was. But it was right then and there his mind was made up.
Jim smiled at her. “I’m not going anywhere.”

corey cunningham headcanons [volume one]
i have an (over)abundance of time to think about corey, he plagues my mind 24/7, so i'm inflicting a sprinkling of those thoughts onto all of you. based on this list of questions for character development.
topics include: drinks order, grooming routine, money and purchases, scars, how often he cries, siblings, shoes, sleeping habits and favourite holiday.
WARNING for some general angst, as well as mild mentions of smut, child abuse or otherwise problematic parental behaviour and alcohol consumption.

drinks order
corey's not a big coffee drinker, he usually finds it too bitter, even with milk and sugar. he's happy to "go for coffee" with someone though, he'll just get a hot chocolate or a frappe with a lot of syrup.
he doesn't drink alcohol that often, joan never really drank in the house except for special occasions and she limits ronald to a few beers at most after dinner. as a result, corey is a bit of a lightweight, but when he does drink he always goes for a beer. he hasn't quite developed a taste for harder liquor yet, but vodka is a safe bet because he can mix it with pretty much anything and doesn't have to taste it. he likes the idea of whiskey (the most manly of liquors) but the first time he tried it, the burn made his eyes water.
grooming routine
joan was meticulous about his cleanliness in childhood. he had a bath every night before bed and joan made sure he never had dirt under his nails or behind his ears.
pre-accident corey has taken to showering rather than bathing. he showers every evening and shaves every other day. his facial hair is light/reddish so he can go a few days before it's really obvious he has stubble, but he likes being clean shaven.
he uses 3 in 1 soap for body/hair/face, and yet somehow has the most gorgeous hair in the whole world and (mostly) okay skin. he still gets spots/pimples but he got through his teenage acne stage pretty much unscathed. he doesn't do any skincare. he has a bottle of lotion (on his bedside...) but he doesn't use it often unless he has really dry skin on his elbows or knuckles. it's store-brand unscented. and as a teenage boy in the 2010s, he used an excessive amount of axe body spray. now he has a more grown-up aftershave, but he doesn't use it all the time.
post-accident corey doesn't fair so well. for months after the trial he barely gets out of bed unless joan nags him enough, dragging him on errands or calling him downstairs at meal times. he'd shower when joan forced him to, and shaves maybe once a week.
once he gets a job at the call centre, he has to keep up appearances a little bit again. he showers every day (or other day, if he's not feeling up to it), doesn't mind stubble so much anymore so shaves every 3 - 4 days. when he gets a job at the scrap yard, he's more diligent about showering every day (does not want to go to bed still covered in garage grime.
corey's not a hugely hairy guy anyway, so he doesn't really do anything with his body hair. when he still had hope for getting past second base, he might of trimmed and "manscaped" a bit, but after a three year dry spell, he knows he'd just be kidding himself.
most expensive purchase and disposable income
he doesn't spend a lot of money. he doesn't have a lot of things. the cunningham-prevos are working class, he's used to not having a lot of disposable income to spend, especially before joan married ronald and she was a single mom for the majority of corey's childhood. joan doesn't make him pay rent or contribute to bills so most of his wages go into his savings (saving for what, he doesn't know anymore), and what little he does spend is on snacks and food from the gas station. now and then he'll see a yard sale while cycling home and might stop to look through some books - he has a shelf of tatty sci-fi paperbacks at home - but a few cents here and there barely makes a dent in his pocket.
he did buy his own phone though, as an upgrade from the abysmal off-brand smartphone joan begrudgingly bought him at 18. his phone is probably the most expensive thing he's ever bought, and even then its far from being the latest, most expensive model on the market. he doesn't even pay his own phone bill, seeing as he's on the family plan.
scars
corey doesn't really have any scars, pre-accident. he never really got hurt much as a kid, not with joan watching him like a hawk, but her jurisdiction did not extend to the school playground (luckily for him), where he got his fair share of grazed knees. no lasting scars though.
working at the scrapyard is rough in his hands, though. he hides it well from joan, but he gets little cuts on his fingers and around his cuticles from working. they heal up fine, but he can still see each silvery knick and wears them proudly. they're the proof of his skills, of what he can fix with his own hands.
the cut on his hand from the broken glass eventually leaves a thick scar on his palm. it would of healed more cleanly had he not ripped the stitches so badly and let it get infected. he ends up not being able to feel anything properly in the scar tissue, able to dig his nails into it when he clenches a fist without feeling a thing.
how often does he cry?
pretty often. not always over something specific, he's just an emotional person. as a baby he was (perhaps surprisingly) content, not fussy at all - a fact joan was exceedingly proud of. she'd look at other mothers out in public who just "couldn't control" their children, whose babies wailed and cried. then she'd look down at corey and be reassured of how excellent of a mother she was, with her perfectly happy, chubby-cheeked baby. but that didn't last and as he got older, it become clear he struggled outside of the home and he got overwhelmed a lot. joan said he was just a sensitive boy, was happy to coddle him if it meant he'd stay being a momma's boy, even when other parents would have been worried about his emotional development. he cried every day for the first month of kindergarten. he cried in the locker room at school after a fight he was in when he was 13. he'd cry at night after arguing with joan over whether he could go to college and whether or not she'd fill in his financial aid applications.
after the accident, he was in such a bad state of shock that he didn't cry at all. during questioning, when he was having to repeat himself over and over, he cried out of frustration because it was just an accident, he swears it was just an accident, but it feels like no one believes him and he just wants to go home. then, with the trial, he focused exclusively on that, no time to feel anything at all other than the anxiety that churned his stomach. once he got aquitted, that's when it really happens. he has a huge nervous breakdown, spends the whole night crying to joan while she holds him. it takes weeks for things to get better and there's a lot of crying and borderline catatonia.
he doesn't really cry over much after that. usually it's silly things that set him off, and it sort of surprises him that he can even do it anymore. sometimes he cried when he went to the allen house, or up to the radio station, but not always.
oldest, middle, youngest or only child?
only child. of course. joan only needed one object for her affections, just one person she could shape into loving her and only her unconditionally.
sometimes i wonder if corey was the result of a baby trap; joan having a baby so wally would have to stay and love her and provide for them, until it got to a point where she couldn't care less if wally stayed or not. once she realised corey could be a much better fit for her obsessions, of course.
corey thinks about what it'd be like if he had any siblings (and who knows, maybe he does if wally was unlucky enough to get someone else pregnant after he left haddonfield). mostly he sees other kids with siblings and wishes he had someone he could be close to, someone who would be in his corner against joan.
shoes
pre-accident corey has two pairs of trainers and a pair of "nice" shoes he wore for graduation. he's never been a fashion person, wouldn't even know where to start, but he at least chose his trainers himself, even if joan was with him and vetting his choices over his shoulder.
post-accident corey has one pair of trainers (he threw out the ones he was wearing the night of the accident), those same "nice" shoes (worn to graduation and to court) and his work boots. mostly the only places he goes is from home to work and back again, so he's more often than not got his work boots on. they're well worn and well stained with dust and grime.
sleep
corey's naturally a night owl. for a long time, he had a really (really) early bedtime and joan would stay in his room until he fell asleep. it made him wake up early but he'd go back to sleep and then it was difficult for him to get up again at the proper time. but once she stopped watching him sleep, as a reflex corey started staying up late, which made his trouble getting to sleep at all even worse. he has even more trouble getting up in the morning.
he sleeps with two pillows and a duvet. he has a blanket for winter but he usually runs so hot he doesn't need it. he also has a much older blanket he always keeps at the foot of the bed that he's had since he was a kid. it's a bit ratty now, but it makes him feel a little bit better when he's in one of his moods. he has two sets of sheets that joan has on a two-week laundry rotation.
after the accident, his sleep pattern is obliterated. he finds it even more difficult to get to sleep because his thoughts are constantly racing. he wakes up crying from nightmares pretty much every night, so upset he wakes joan and she comes running. he hates relying on her so much, but having her there does help him go back to sleep. it takes months for him to start sleeping through the night again (or as close to that as he's ever been capable of). eventually he starts doing what he did when he was younger, where he'd wake up in the early morning, but instead of going back to sleep, he'd sneak out to either the allen house or the radio station, depending on how much hope he current possessed about the future.
as previously mentioned, he is not a morning person. he often sleeps in later than he means to, falling back to sleep after turning his alarm off. he's late for work at least twice a month but usually more. ronald's on his back about it, but after a scolding he usually let's it slide. if it's not sleeping in that makes him late, it's joan's subtle acts of sabotage that keep him from getting out the door on time.
favourite holiday
corey doesn't really care about holidays too much. joan's neurotic need to control every single aspect of every single holiday means he's used to just sort of coasting through, doing whatever it takes to make her happy (or at least placate her for the day).
if he had to pick a favourite, he doesn't mind thanksgiving. it's less pressure than christmas, where the prospect of giving and receiving gifts fills corey with a special sort of dread. for a long time it was just him and joan for thanksgiving anyway, he doesn't have any other family, so there isn't the stress of having guests over. it's actually sort of nice, they have dinner and joan bakes a pie. her cooking is still pretty terrible, but corey's willing to overlook that fact in order to keep the peace. they eat dinner and watch TV, some of his best memories with joan are where they just sit and watch TV. plus, corey has his "what he's thankful for" speech perfected, "i'm thankful that you're my mom, and that you take care of me and love me." joan eats that shit right up.
his birthday became his least favourite holiday for a while. it's torturous having to sit through joan's affections, which she ramps up tenfold for the occasion, and he rarely gets what he really wants in terms of presents. anything he wants is watered down for joan's approval. corey hasn't had a birthday party since he was five years old, but joan still makes a show of getting him a cake and lighting the candles after dinner. the effort to keep joan sweet and show enough appreciation for her giving birth to him is enough to fry his nerves for the whole day.
halloween soon takes the number one spot though. you can't really have a worse holiday than the anniversary of the time a child died in front of you.

Desc: snow angels, hot chocolate, ice skating, and a burning heart to warm themselves for the winter... and even a furball to surprise them♡
Type: love/fluff
"YAYAYAYA WAKE UP MORTY!!" The brunette was passed out on his bed as a drool went down his face."MORTY WAKE UPPPPPP ITS SNOWING!!" yelled the boy who was clinging unto his life as he's outside his window. groaning, he started clawing unto the window with his hands.
"I don't want to bother your parents by going through the front door!!" Trying to claw the window open, he then saw morty stir up. The exact moment he opened his eyes, he saw Y/n covered in snow. The only thing keeping him warm was the ear muffs and the sweater he wore, "what the? Y/n what are you doing??"
He yawned as he got up to open the window. Without thinking, he let Y/n in forgetting he was covered in snow "jesus! It's cold!!!" He shivered when Y/n shook his body spraying the snow towards him as well. As y/n picked up the ear muffs he shook off "Wanna go outside and make a snow man? It's snowing right now"
pointing his thumb behind him to the window morty looked at his clock "it's 6 in the morning.. let's go downstairs even mom won't be awake during this hour. It's holidays, " he rubbed his eyes as Y/n followed behind only problem was it was snowing a bit too hard, they had to wait for a few hours to calm down.
Morty went to the bathroom while Y/n went downstairs to the living room passing by the front door to take off his shoes. Sitting on the couch, he looked out the window it really was snowing hard...did he lock his windows??
He thought to himself before deciding to deal with that later. He heared footsteps behind and it was morty in a ugly Christmas sweater "yeesh goodmorning" Y/n tilted his head backwards to see morty, his view was upside down.
“anyways you ate breakfast?” Y/n sat back up to turn around “nah, got hot coco?” morty went away to the kitchen while Y/n followed by “not nesquick, like actual hot coco” Y/n stood beside him in the counter
“that will take a whole 20 minutes to do Y/n..” “it’s not that bad, We got the time it’s christmas! C’mon get the cups i’ll get the stove ready” Y/n opened the cupboard before morty got the mugs from the drying rack
Y/n placed a pot on the stove along with milk, “can you get the sugar and cocoa powder for me real quick” Y/n opened his palm while morty searched through the kitchen and placed it on his hand
Placing in cocoa and sugar he stirred the pot, “vanilla extract, i think summer placed it in the left cupboard the last time i remember” morty checked but it wasnt there, checking the other cupboard he finally got it
Handing over to Y/n. Placing a few drops of extract he handed it back to morty, stirring it morty handed over the mugs opening the fridge to search for the whipped cream “oh my god wait, we need chocolate chips morty do you still have some??”
“oh shit, no sorry dad used it all last night for his ginger bread house” morty rolled his eyes before walking towards him with whipped cream “dang it, it’s fine we still got the creamy version of it
Pouring the hot coca unto the mugs morty helped Y/n with placing whipped cream on it “there’s still some more, let’s just keep it here. They can heat it later if they want some” morty told before bringing the mug to his lips
Sipping unto the hot coca, he cringed and retracted “hot!” Y/n laughed “dumbass i JUST made it” morty and Y/n stood leaning unto the kitchen counter, morty looked at Y/n blowing unto his mug. Y/n looked at morty looking at him before he akwardly laughed “what? Got something on my face?” morty shook hid head no before sipping his hot coca
“well seems like you’re the one that does now” Y/n laughed before his hand reached to morty’s lips, wiping away the whip cream on the corner of his mouth “o-oh, thanks” he felt something
But he couldn’t exactly pin point what he did feel at that moment, “c’mon let’s get back to the living room i think there’s a new episode of south park out” “jesus, how many season’s do they have already?” “dunno, it’s fun watching though”
As the morning passes by, Beth and Summer woke up to see morty and Y/n under a blanket watching the tv.
“seriously? I still don’t understand how you’re a dog person morty” watching dogs surround Tom holland in his puppy interview “dogs are cool! They’re just really fun to be around”
“you wanna get a dog?” morty looked at Y/n crossing his hands with a happy grin “yeah?! Who doesn’t” “what are you gonna name it when you actually do get one?” morty rested his head on Y/n shoulder thinking to himself
“dunno...probably snuffles” Y/n snickered trying his best to cover it “Hey! I can feel you laughing!” morty called Y/n out “of course! But why snuffles? Not like i can stop you from naming your dog” Y/n wheezed at the thought
“they’ll have good fur! And we can cuddle too!”
“what if they don’t wanna?”
“...”
“what if they have short hair?”
“... I’ll still love him”
“what if it’s a girl?”
“Y/n!”
“PFFT- okay okay i’ll stop”
Hearing a pair of key’s chime both boys looked behind him “excuse me boys, can you both please wake up jerry upstairs. We’re going to be late for the towns christmas show, if you both want to go to the skating ring early then you better wake him up. And morty go get ready last time you forgot your scarf and gotten sick”
Both Y/n and morty complied before Y/n simply followed morty, “wanna go to some stores after ice skating?” Y/n brought up “im broke, used my last pocket money to get gta 5” “aw boo, okay then”
///
The towns center was crowded with people, Y/n and the smiths watched the stage as acrobats sang and danced together. Morty once more looked over to Y/n’s face seeing his eyes light up im amazment
Even though the snow is pouring in, and he’s barely keeping himself warm he couldn’t help but feel warm inside. Y/n looked back at morty snapping him back to reality as Y/n shook morty “MORTY LOOK AT THEM!! IT’S SO COOL!!” Y/n excitedly cheered
Instinctively holding unto morty’s hand to not get lost in the crowd, time passed by as now the show finally ended. Both Y/n and the smith family were now in a more cleared up crowd as they dispersed to the different food stalls and venders selling ugly christmas sweaters
“ok you both boys be safe alright?? If you need anything me and jerry are gonna be near the food stalls ok?” both nodded before Y/n dragged morty to the ice ring, morty slipped on the snow but Y/n still pulled him up with joyful laughter as the two boys laughed it out
Standing in front of a guy giving out skates “10 bucks each” Y/n gladly paid for morty before they went over to check which skates would fit them “you still don’t know how to skate Y/n you sure you can do this?”
“you doubting me pokemon collecter?” “you collect pokemon card too!?” Y/n laughed before standing both held hands before entering the ice ring, once they did Y/n instead gripped unto the railings
“okay! Okay! This could be the biggest regret ever!” Y/n held the ring like a scared kitty morty simply stood there perfectly fine “just try walking towards me, v shape remember?” Y/n looked at morty reaching his hand out while the other rest on his hips
Breathing out Y/n made small steps to him, a small smile appeared on his face after morty finally gotten to hold unto him “wow, im suprised you didn’t slip yet” “shut up” Y/n grinned looking down unto the ice
“now follow me, and don’t drag me down when you do fall” morty warned Y/n lightly “pfft, i definitely will” morty rolled his eyes before letting go of Y/n leaving him in the middle of the skating ring
“m-morty!! Asshole don’t leave me here!!” “well, just do the same thing you did before. Just without me holding you” Y/n wanted to panic but he’ll fall on his ass if he did “no! I WILL fall if i try going towards you”
Morty slowly backed up “quickly before the gap starts increasing” Y/n’s eyes twitched before his skate dug unto the ice skidding towards him, morty was actually shocked that Y/n managed to get himself to move faster than what he’s personally comfortable with
“w-wait i don’t know how to stop!?” Y/n yelled, morty moved a bit to the left before grabbing y/n. But he underestimated how fast the momentum went and got dragged along with Y/n
His eyes widened before he dug his skate to the ice preventing them both to fall,
the warm breaths of both boys breezed to their faces, as their faces were so close to one another. Both of their face’s turned bright red, either from the cold or their proximity, Y/n felt warm
His chest filled him with a warm shiver. Before he went to quickly kiss morty, before morty could reciprocate Y/n managed to stand up by himself “a-anyways, wanna go skate else where?”
Y/n grinned while morty looked at his eyes “y-yeah”
///
“that was fun” morty looked at y/n “you fell 16 times that whole 30 minutes we were in there” “still fun” looking around morty looked at a wishing station, “Y/n, you wanna go wish?”
Looking at Y/n “oh, sure-sure yeah!” he smiled “wait go ahead i’ll just tie my shoes” Y/n raised his eyebrows before slowly walking away “yeah but you need to hurry up m-”
SMACK!
A snow ball was thrown at the back of his head, turning around he saw morty holding a few more snow balls “betrayal!! C’mere you little shit!” he smirked before cupping snow on his hands throwing it at morty
Chasing after him both boys laughed “can’t catch me shorty!” “morty im literally taller than you!?” morty tried throwing a snow ball at him but Y/n dodged “nuh uh” Y/n looked at morty getting the reference
“the fuck you mean nuh uh!?” he quotted back, before throwing a snow ball at his back, morty threw his last snow ball but missed and hit another persons back. Both boy’s eyes widened before Y/n rushed to the closest stall to pretend to check out it’s contents while morty turned around seeming a bit lost looking around
The man looked around in shock and anger, but morty looked at Y/n and walked towards him “best fucking save ever” “best counter attack ever” morty looked at Y/n confused but his face was stuffed with snow
“BLEGH! It came in my mouth!” “mia khalifa’s sex tape” Y/n laughed proud of the reference he made, he helped clean his hair from the snow. And shockingly enough they were already at the wishing stall
Both boys were greeted by the stall worker “and how about you two? Care to give a wish stick a try?” Y/n smiled before pulling out 2 dollars “oh no need for cash, it’s free for couples” She smiled
Both boys looked at her with a blush, but played in for free wishes. The lady shook the box before presenting it to the boys “first think about your wish, then pick out one popsicle stick”
Both of the boys glances at each other before picking out a stick
[your embodied love, they aren’t far from your reach. Maybe they’re in plain sight]
Y/n hummed to himself with a smile
[everything you love, will be there for you. It will never find itself away from you]
Morty’s eyes clicked realizing something before looking at Y/n
“now, kiss the popsicle and burn the tip. It’s a sign of promise that whatever your wish was will come true”
Both boys kissed the popsicle and burnt the tip on the red candle.
“now keep that popsicle and never show anyone, you can only reveal it once it’s been granted to you” she smiled before the two boys thanked her and walked away
“i already got mine granted” “same here” “so what’s yours?” morty looked away before showing his popsicle stick Y/n “aww that’s so sweet! Mine’s cute” Y/n showed him his popsicle
Morty smiled at it “yeah, c’mon let’s go eat”
///
“morty try these crepes!! They’re really good!” Y/n offered some of his crepes to morty, morty took a bite off it before humming “it’s actually pretty good, want to try this shawarma?”
Y/n nodded before morty offered some as Y/n bit into it, “oh, it’s spicy” Y/n’s taste buds shifted from sweet to spicy “yeah, i just wanted to try some since they’re about to be out” both boys walked by each other before
Morty’s ears perked up and heared something, stopping and looking around Y/n stopped with him, confused. “you ‘aight?” “wait..” morty handed over his shawarma before shoveling his hands throught he snow
Y/n peeked to see morty holding a small dog “w-what!? Holy shit morty!? Is it still breathing, we need to get it near warm fire or something!??” Y/n panicked before morty took off his orange scarf and covered the dog for warmth
“c’mon let’s go to my parents there might be a warm fire around” Y/n followed morty before taking a sneaky small bite into his shawarma
“morty! Dear god where did you get a dog??!” jerry looked at morty in shock, they were sitting at a table Y/n placed their food down “let’s go to that stall they have barbecue maybe we can stand near it for heat!” Y/n pointed out before morty and Y/n quickly rushed over
Standing near the barbecue Y/n apologized for having the dog near the food but the one who ran the stall understood and allowed them to use the heat, even once the food cooked they placed it else where just so that morty can help the dog get warm
“who would leave a dog out here like that??” morty checked that it’s fur was quite dirty, probably a stray. morty slowly patted the dog to try pumping it’s blood flow, Y/n scratched the dogs ear
“poor little guy...” “he probably was abandoned, the snow unfortunately came around these times so he had to survive on his own” morty frowned Beth and jerry came over “okay boy’s let’s go home, Summer’s heading over to her friends house for a sleepover. And then maybe we’d find a way to take care of the poor dog. Where did you guys even find it?”
Beth passed their food to Y/n “we were walking after getting food and morty probably heared a whine under the snow” Y/n looked at morty holding the dog “yeah were going back home, now that morty can’t use his scarf he’s definetly going to catch a cold and the dog needs warmth and probably food”
“so you’re gonna keep the dog?” “of course i will!” “it’s funny, didn’t we talk about dogs this morning? It’s like some christmas miracle you just got him” Y/n held beth’s hair blower and had it to low heat
The dog was conscious but very weak, morty still kept it laying on his scarf a small plastic bowl with left over food from yesterday “what are you gonna name him? It’s a boy right?” morty nodded
“hmm, snuffles.” “you’ve got to be kidding me” “what? It’s the best i can come up with! And he also has nice fur!” morty patted the dogs belly “you could’ve gone with snow balls, his fur is white as snow. And either way he even looks like a snow ball when he curls up to sleep!”
Y/n explained before morty gave in “ok fine, snowballs...” the dog looked around before sniffing the bowl. Y/n brought it closer to it before it started eating slowly. Y/n sighed and leaned near morty since the heater was closer to him
Morty looked at Y/n with a smile before cupping his face to kiss him
“merry christmas Y/n”
A smirked laid upon Y/n face looking at morty
“merry christmas morty”
Note: ... I still wonder how i still written them as friends during this. It’s called a psuedo relationship, situationship is more sexual and negative i think? which is not what im looking for. So a psuedo fit’s more better since it’s more on acting like a commited relationship even though both never really talked about it. And i thought about homoerottic relationship but google lables it to be more of a sexual desire thing too which i don’t think is what im trying to find so idk how to lable these two.
BUT ANYWAYS they’re friends with benefits i think? Google went and said “people who fear to really confess to each other” but i don’t think that’s the case between those two, they’re more like. Like. Losers that doesn’t know what to when it comes to love so they just literally “go with the flow”
ANYWAYS AGAIN, MERRY CHRISTMAS TO EVERYONE.
I will post the actual full fanfic instead of making one shots like these about them without much context and ig ‘canon’ plot explained so probably around january i’ll be posting it

OC Ask Thing
thank you @tadpole-apocalypse :)
Tumblr media
screenshot
Tumblr media
I… uh… I can’t draw worth crap but I thought it might be fun to try and draw him anyway, and this one turned out the best
Name: Anirin, no last name (yet)
Nickname(s): the party sometimes calls him “Rin” for short
Pronouns: he/him
Star Sign: not really applicable but I feel like he gives off Libra energy
Height: haven’t really thought of it but in every screenshot I’ve taken of him, he always looks a little taller than Gale so I’m rolling with it
Orientation: Gay
Race: Drow Half-Elf (sort of)
Romancing: Gale (I initially had him romance Astarion but the more I wrote about him, the more he kind of took on a life of his own and insisted on being with Gale)
Fave Fruit: haven’t thought of it but I would say strawberries
Fave Season: Winter (he likes silence and winter just gives this air of peace and quiet)
Fave Flower: He doesn’t really have one. They’re all alchemy ingredients to him
Fave Scent: vanilla
Coffee Tea or Hot Chocolate: I would say tea, but he’d honestly prefer something a little stronger – like a good wine (he really enjoys hanging out with Shadowheart and sharing a bottle, she’s his bestie)
Average Sleep Hours: he’s lucky if he gets 4 hours partially because of the Bhaal-induced nightmares but also because he’s really paranoid that he’ll hurt someone else like Alfira.
Dogs or Cats: at the start neither, but Scratch has endeared him to dogs and Tara’s really grown on him. Anirin is much more partial to owlbears, gnolls, worgs, intellect devourers, etc. He collects them like Pokémon 😅
Dream Trip: I think he’d love any trip where he can just relax but he wouldn’t be opposed to visiting some of Faerûn’s more remote areas and dig up their secrets
Amount of blankets: he usually only sleeps with one blanket, he doesn’t need any more than that (except when he does)
Random Fact:
whenever Anirin goes for his persuasion/deception checks, I like to think that he subconsciously mimics Gortash’s tone and mannerisms
He respecced from sorcerer to bard in Act 3. After rejecting Bhaal, he had his magic completely taken away. It was a bit of a rough adjustment period, but his friends helped him through it.
He’s a very skilled alchemist (he makes all the potions and poisons in the camp) but a terrible cook

Admiral's Gingerbread (3 spoons)
It's been a rough last couple of months and I haven't really had the spoons to try new recipes for the most part, plus I was running out of interesting ones in my few cookbooks.
Thing is ... now I have new cookbooks. My bestie pre-ordered me a copy of B Dylan Hollis' Baking Yesteryear the moment we all learned about it. So I thought, "Hey, how about I pull a 'Julie and Julia' with this, and with Exquisite Exandria when it comes out, and cook my way through it to see how spoon-friendly it is?" So that's what I'm going to do the next little while.
(Well, insofar as I can, anyway. A lot of these are American and I'm not sure exactly how we find Velveeta here in the UK.)
Now, a lot of those recipes (hell, most of those recipes) involve flour, so I did some research to find a good brand of gluten-free flour that wasn't going to break the bank. The brand I found is from Middleton Foods, by the way, and it actually mixes in the xanthan gum so you don't have to do the measurements etc yourself. Plus it fits a lot of the parameters I have for the ingredients you find in good gluten-free pasta, so I had high hopes. I also had a yen for gingerbread.
Though Admiral's Gingerbread is honestly more gingercake, but ... bread in the "banana bread" sense. Thing is, however glorious the result, this is a recipe that, for someone with chronic pain issues, is made of no. Like, entirely no. Unless you own a hand mixer, do not do this one. ...But do get yourself a hand mixer because the results are great. The end result is this moist dense cakey bread with ginger tingling on the tongue and just a bit of that not-quite-bitter flavour of molasses. So I'll provide the recipe and then give the list of Things I Wish I'd Had When I Started This Mess.
Here's what you'll need:
225g (1 cup) butter (at room temperature)
1.5 cups self-raising flour
2 tbsp ground ginger
3 tbsp molasses or dark treacle
5 eggs (separated, yolks and whites both kept)
1.5 cups powdered sugar
1 tsp baking powder
It looks so simple, from the ingredients list. But the fun is just beginning.
Here's what you do:
Pre-heat oven to 350F (180C, 160C fan assist - and, after a bit of a Google to confirm for those in the UK with a gas oven, gas mark 4); grease a 9" by 5" loaf pan
Cream the butter; slowly beat in flour, ginger, and molasses
In a separate bowl, whisk the egg yolks and powdered sugar together
In another separate bowl, whisk egg whites until stiff (they should form peaks that don't fall over when you lift the whisk out of the mixture) and then beat in baking powder
Thoroughly mix the egg yolk mixture, and then the egg white mixture, into the creamed butter mixture.
Bake for 50-55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the centre of the loaf comes out clean.
My stomach and taste buds do not regret what I put myself through to make this gingerbread. The gluten-free flour was a huge success (seriously, Middleton Foods; if you've got gluten issues, it comes recommended), and I have now had two servings of it - with my evening hot chocolate last night and as breakfast this morning. My arms and shoulders, however, are telling me a tale of woe right now. That's mostly because (with the sole exception of beating the egg whites stiff) I did all of that by hand. So here are my tips and hints.
DON'T DO THIS BY HAND. Get a hand mixer. I do not know how people in the 1910s did this. I mean, I should have known better. Hollis states in the damn cookbook that hand mixers are essential. I'm honestly just glad that my hand blender has a whisk attachment that I could use for the egg whites or I'd be truly boned.
Double-check your loaf pan dimensions. It turned out my loaf pan was just a liiiiiiittle bit smaller than 9" by 5". Thankfully the overflow was only a couple of drips and not Vesuvius, but still, nobody needs that aggravation.
A very flexible rubber spatula is going to be your best friend, particularly when it comes to the molasses. Molasses is a bit of a mess to pour, so unless you're good enough to be able to measure approximately three tablespoons by eye (which some people are, and maybe I will be one day but I am not there yet), having something flexible to help scrape the molasses out of the spoon is a big help.
Another household appliance that feels essential in this one is a dishwasher, especially if doing most of the mixing by hand. Honestly, even with a hand mixer, the mixer attachments are going to need cleaning, and it's still the same number of bowls. If you don't have a dishwasher, it's helpful to keep the sink full of warm sudsy water so that you can at least pre-rinse everything before washing. This especially helps with any implement that's been involved with the molasses. ...Actually, if you have a dishwasher, put everything in warm sudsy water when you're done with it anyway; pre-washing is generally a good idea.
I still recommend that everyone who's interested in baking buy Baking Yesteryear by B Dylan Hollis, no matter what I write here. He's all about the beauty. (Even if that beauty is to be found in horror - HE INCLUDED THE SPAGHETTI-O JELLO RING I DON'T WANT TO MAKE THAT ... actually I don't think I can do that because we don't have Spaghetti-Os here and our equivalent is thickened with wheat flour. First time I've ever been glad to be gluten intolerant. Anyway.) I am just the accessibility person behind the scenes. He's on the Magic Baking Road Trip and I am in the works truck behind him putting up warning signs.
Today, the warning is "Hey, see this, what I did? Don't do that. Do it smarter". I'm doing a Wacky Cake next time, swear to god.

i can see how this will end, in all its bitter tragedy
g, no archive warnings apply | AO3 LINK
Crowley hadn’t gone back to Nina’s coffee shop since Aziraphale left. Even just glancing through the front window in passing had been too painful a reminder of all the innumerable ways he had messed up.
He remembered the smell of coffee and tea and hot chocolate that hit him like a wave when he walked through the front door, after Aziraphale had called him and asked for help.
(He hadn’t actually asked for help—not explicitly, anyway—but Crowley knew. His “something’s wrong” voice that made Crowley clench his jaw hard enough to crack a tooth at the idea that the life they had carefully carved out with each oth—he had carved out for himself—might be at risk.
He remembered the remnant taste of coffee on Aziraphale’s lips; it should have been bitter (it would have hurt less if it was bitter, maybe it wouldn’t have been as heartbreaking if the kiss hadn’t been everything he’d longed for). Crowley doesn’t know if Aziraphale is capable of being bitter.
He never held that sort of resentment in his heart anyway. Aziraphale spent six thousand years afraid of Gabriel finding out about their…them.
(Pre-Armageddon Crowley always called it The Arrangement; because that’s what it was. It was mutually beneficial. Crowley worked for Hell, Aziraphale worked for Heaven, and both sides worked to try and end the world. They were…work colleagues.
Nina and Maggie would tell him that they’re lovers.
Aziraphale would tell him that he goes too fast.)
Seeing Nina and Maggie smiling together felt like someone was pulling his heart out of his chest and curb-stomping it in Hell with special shoes that had nails piercing down through the soles; it wasn’t because he blamed them. He didn’t. He knew they were right.
Crowley just wished he could be happy with Aziraphale in the same way they were happy with each other.
Maybe he just couldn’t do anything right, maybe that was his problem. Cast out of Heaven for asking questions, abandoned because he didn’t ask the right ones.
It doesn’t matter, Crowley thought glumly, moving to pour more wine into his glass before just raising the entire bottle up to his lips and drinking from there. He scuffed his foot against the carpet, the same one that covered up the gateway, hoping that maybe Aziraphale could see him in Heaven.
He raised his bottle to the ceiling. Cheers to the Second Coming.

What are some of your favorite cities you’ve been to?  Bangkok was so much fun that I'm already itching to go back. I was there for 4 days with the most jam-packed, NONSTOP itinerary you can imagine someone having; and yet it still felt like barely scratching the surface of what could have been explored there.
Shanghai was fun too, but you also have to be filthy rich to fully enjoy their offers – for me though it was fun enough to people-watch and try the local McDonald's haha, so I'm still counting it as a favorite.
Would you allow your children to date prior to 16? I did, so it would be hypocritical of me not to allow them. The only thing I'd change is to foster an open, warm environment at home so my kids can share with me what they're up to and ask questions if there's any concerns, because I had to hide my relationship for the entirety of it.
Did you ever go through a phase where you thought guys in bands were ‘hot?’ I guess, but I wasn't super deep into the phase. There was just a brief point where I wanted to date like a drummer, and I didn't even attend small shows in an attempt to catch a band member's eye.
What’s something about adult life you were never warned of or prepared for? How lost everyone is. I thought you'd kind of just figure everything out once you turned a certain age.
Did your parents teach you proper table manners when you were growing up? More my mom than my dad, but yeah. My mom had this brief phase where she kept telling us she'd enroll us in this series of etiquette classes – she never did lmao, but she tried to teach whatever she could when she had the time.
What was the last thing you baked? I've only ever baked chocolate chip cookies and I haven't done that since I was like 14. I don't have the natural skill for it and would much rather support a small business since there are like 593875954 local cookie shops who could do the job so much better anyway.
Do you live more than 5 hours away from the nearest international border? Well if you swam the distance it'd definitely take weeks haha, but as far as I know Taiwan is only a 1.5 hour plane ride away.
Does your town have a farmer’s market? We have markets literally everywhere, it's a focal point of every city. I don't know if a farmer's market holds a different meaning.
What’s the westernmost point you’ve been to? Thailand.
What was the last restaurant you made a reservation at? Blackbird. I haven't stopped thinking about their cheesecake either.
When did you last feel lonely? It's been a while tbh! I like my own company and seldom feel lonely.
Can you easily tell when others are masking their true emotions?  Sure, sometimes. I know a few people who are great at being on autopilot that I can't help but think about what they're really feeling or how they're holding up with everything going on around them.
How often do you wash your car? Every couple of weeks.
When did you last lend money to a friend? I don't do that. That's enough of a problem in Filipino society that I simply don't want to be a part of that cycle, whether it's me lending the money or me asking to borrow money.
Which app on your phone do you tend to get the most notifications from?  Viber as it's my main line for work.
Do you own a Dutch oven? If so, what was the last thing you cooked in it? I don't think we do.
What is currently on your kitchen table?  Just a towel.
What is your favorite time period in history to learn about? Any era pre-World Wars.
How old were you when you met your current best friend? 7.
Have you ever kissed a smoker? Sure.
What is the minimum age to obtain a driver’s license in your state/country? Do you think this is an appropriate age? 18, and yeah that's fair enough to me. Personally I needed it to be 18 because I needed a way to bring myself to and from university and I wasn't willing to commute, so being able to drive immediately after graduating high school was a relief.
If you won the lottery, do you think any of your family members would ask you to give them some of your money? Hypothetically, I think they would be very indirect about it; but in the first place I wouldn't even be saying a word to anyone so that I don't have to worry about people messaging me out of the blue with an agenda in tow.
What is the craziest thing you’ve seen happen at your workplace? Nothing too crazy tbh because we've had a WFH setup ever since I started. It's probably just the office looking like a hoarder's paradise as we often have boxes upon boxes of PR packages populating the area, and it often feels like a warehouse more so than an office.
Do you own any home automation gadgets like wifi thermostats or wifi bulbs? Nothing too high-tech. Our aircon downstairs can be controlled via its phone app but that's it.
What is something you gave up on after many failed attempts? Learning Photoshop.
How old were you when you started to seriously think about what career path you wanted to pursue? Towards the end of college. I had a brief, last-minute crisis where I suddenly wanted to be in law school, but it was happening when things were more or less wrapping up for me in college so I had had to sit myself down and start thinking about what it is I wanted to do.
Eventually I came to the reflection that law school will spit me back out nearly immediately, especially if I'm only thinking about the money; so between that and already hating journalism enough, I decided to take up PR and comms.
Have you ever disliked a book so much that you didn’t finish it? Yes. Maybe not dislike, but I was just so bored of the book that I didn't bother reading through the rest anymore.
Would you rather read a book, or listen to the audiobook? I'd rather read the book. I did download an audiobook recently – and it's my first audiobook too! – but I only did it because it would be impossible to find a physical copy of the book where I'm from.
Do you think tomorrow will be a better day than today? Not in the slightest.

Snow Day (ao3) - neversaydie steve/bucky M, 5k

But this isn't their apartment. This is the stupid fucking vacation someone in his extensive 'treatment team' suggested, which they obviously had to take in the middle of winter. In the middle of fucking nowhere. So far away from civilisation, in fact, that apparently they don't know what central heating is.
Bucky's had worse, sure, but he doesn't have to have worse anymore. That's why he's so adamantly against it.
[in which Bucky has a bad day in the middle of nowhere, but there are fluffy sweaters and snow and coffee and asshole cats to pet, and Steve makes it easier to be a person.]
Snow Day (ao3) - rubygirl29 clint/phil, steve/bucky M, 1k
Summary: A snowstorm in New York means different things for Clint and Phil than for Steve and Bucky. Or does it?
snow for us (ao3) - talktothesky steve/tony G, 2k
Summary: “i was having a snowball fight outside and you were casually walking by and oh my god i’m so sorry i accidentally nailed you in the face” au
A snowball to the face is not the best first impression, especially when the guy you hit is as gorgeous as this man. Steve has it bad already.
We'll Frolick and Play (ao3) - invisibledaemon gamora/peter G, 742
Summary: There are a lot of things she doesn’t need, strictly speaking, but that Peter gives her anyway. Her life is better for it, she finds.
Or, Peter finds out Gamora has never played in the snow before
Wenceslas (ao3) - dragongirlG, velociraptorerin steve/bucky M, 17k
Summary: Steve is a short, skinny Brooklynite with a very stable, predictable life, which he built after losing his memories in a traumatic accident six months ago. He works from home on a steady stream of art commissions, goes to weekly trivia nights with his superhero friends the Avengers, and tries not to get bothered by the constant feeling that something is not quite right.
When Steve invites a homeless man with one arm to take shelter in his apartment during a December snowstorm, both of them enter a dreamscape that unravels the fabric of their memories and reveals the truth about their identities—and their relationship to each other.
