How often does he go back to that moment #How often has he imagined himself saying or doing something different? Something that would've resulted in them leaving that bunker togethe #Meanwhile Lunar lost the person who gave him a new life and a family that actually cares about him #And he was in Moon's head for months and saw first hand how much his regrets and trauma affected him #Both of which would eventually destroy him due to the cycle of self-loathing he was trapped in #How much does HE think about that?#Anyway sorry for not posting for nearly (checks watch) two years??#It'll likely happen again #1k

I love that in the JTTW source material, Sun Wukong is never shown any romantic interest towards anyone and does occassionally make fun of Zhu Bajie and his escapades, but it's still very clear he loves the people aroud him. We love an aroace monkey king.

But I also really really really love that Black Myth Wukong adds their own twist and gave both Sun Wukong AND the Destined One (or rather his past reincarnation) love stories?? Sun Wukong has the tragedy going on with the White Bone Demon, he struck her three times to kill her (granted she did try to eat his master LOL), but he was never able to let her go and it is one of the many reasons why he wanted to leave buddahood behind and reject the celestial court.

With the Destined One, it is heavily implied in the game that the 4th spider sister was married to the previous Destined One (can I also add, excellent taste monkey, 10/10 I would marry her too), but obviously the prev Destined One carried on with his quest and well, probably never returned lol.

Anyway, I think it's a nice touch that each Destined One isn't just another reincarnation on a quest trying to become the new Sun Wukong, and that they can fall in love and get married too. The game doesn't tell us much about the Destined One's personality, with him being a silent protagonist so it's nice to see details like this.

Black Kier is an innie-brand incentive. Do you understand? Lumen gives innies little tastes of power and ownership in order to reward them for good work. They have done the same for Natalie and Milchick, giving them a “re-canonicalized” version of Kier because that is what Lumen thinks will make them feel connected to the founder. “This is what power looks like. Hold it, cherish it. Power does not look like you, but if you please us then we can pretend it does. If you are good, you will almost be as good as us.”

Sometimes I think about the fact Eddie is technically the first person we see in Bucks bedroom and it makes me feel a little feral.

Today is one of those days!!!

#like I know we see Ali up there when they’re looking around the loft with the realtor #but it’s not actually bucks loft at that point in time #Eddie getting buck out of bed pre tsunami is the first time we see the space occupied #and I look back now and think how insane that fact is #like - that feels like a clear signal from the show about their intentions at the start of season 3 #espeically with the black and white of Buck and Eddie’s costumes as well #it’s like they wanted to spell it out in black and white the direction they were going #even if it’s ended up taking them longer than anticipated to get there #it’s also one of the reasons I am more attached to the loft as a buddie roommates situation than Eddie’s house #but that’s a different conversation!#so yeah the show is insane and the loft is importsnt and bucks bedroom especially so #eddie diaz #evan buckley #911 abc #buddie
