Headcannons for the origin of 1x and shedletsky

Telamon was originally a being from the 4th dimension. Something had caught his eyes from the dimension below himself. Builderman as he called himself wanted to make a deal. Something Telamon couldn't pass up. He split apart his form just to become part of the 3rd dimension due to having to be less than what you were to being in the dimension below yourself. (Cubes become squares to be 2D)

Once he had begun working with the builder man his new form made them become rather close but he had pointed something out. Upon evaluating they found that there was one thing that didn't fit into his form and he had far too much of, hatred.

He decided to split that part away from him just as he had done with everything else. What he expected was a lifeless husk that would fade away soon after releasing from him but to his surprise it was a living being. A severely unbalanced being but a living thing at that. and that frustrated him even more. 1x was a being of mostly hate but a little bit of joy, innocence, and justice taking a sliver of these traits from Telamon but also leaving telamon with a little strew of hate inside him. Telamon mostly joy and a little hate was now left to care for this being of hatred.

He wasn't very pleased obviously, finding excuses to leave him places or making him run errands, he wanted nothing to do with the thing. 1x was just a mute ticking time bomb to him. But from 1xs point of view no matter what he did, how good he was or how impressive he could handle his sword he still didn't deserve shedletskys respect.

He was only a bi product of something special. His hatred bubbled up inside him until it consumed him. He hated shedletsky and himself for that matter. Telamon made him feel like he was worth nothing so he vowed to destroy him and all he created and return to the fourth dimension to prove his worth is above something so hurtful.

only dreaming to return to the stars Each time he destroys shedletsky in battle only for the round to start again. Hoping one day he will fully separate from the being.

i've been reading a lot about mind uploading, body autonomy, and the human soul, and this happened.

You are grievously injured in an accident. Your body damaged beyond repair, but you're still alive. At the same time, in the same hospital, someone else is in the process of dying. Their body is fine, but their brain was legally declared dead when your accident happened.

Both of you are "organ donors" with the exception being that the other person has declined life extension. You have not.

Your brain is uploaded into the healthy body. A second chance at life.

But there's a problem: this body is legally married to a man named John Price, who is overseas on a mission and set to come home soon.

However, you are not his wife. You just have her body. The lawyers you hire to look over the case find a clause buried deep inside the docket—an added caveat that explicitly states this body belongs to John Price. Every cell, every molecule, every atom. From the skin covering this body, to the organs inside. It's all his.

And John comes to collect what he owns.

(Maybe if you can convince him you're not his wife, he'll let you go. After all, why would he want to stay married to a stranger?)
