With Sam away at Stanford and John sending Dean out on his own hunts, Dean finally has freedom to do things his way. Sure he’s good at hustling pool and credit card scams but there have to be more ways to make money that don’t involve him on his knees in an alley.
When he sees a model call flyer at some community college Dean figures it can’t hurt to check it out. It’s some magazine he’s never heard of and they love Dean immediately. And maybe he doesn’t love wearing makeup and the outfit is a little stupid but they are paying him so whatever. Plus it’s not hard to stand there and smolder at the camera and he’s pretty sure John will never see it.
Besides, it’s not like he actually has to touch anyone or let someone touch him. He’s just gonna stand there. Apparently that’s enough for this magazine. Looking at the pictures on the computer after the shoot, Dean can admit he looks pretty hot. Maybe this can be a regular thing. That’s when the art director tells him the “boys” are going to go crazy for him.
Dean looks around at the other waiting models, their wardrobe and the two in leather cuffs and realization comes crashing down on him. Before he can protest they hand him a check and push him out the door.
XY is a gay magazine. And Dean is about to be their cover boy.

Very excited to share this strange little story. Honestly it’s get more confusing every time I try to explain it so just read it.

“Hello?” A deep voice asks. “I’m looking for Dean Winchester. My name is Castiel Novak.” The man stepping into my office is almost as tall as me and built like a brick shithouse. His eyes are hypnotically blue and if I was the kinda man who gave into romantic whims I could see myself getting lost in those eyes. His hair is dark and wild, like he’s just come from giving a blow job and someone used his hair to steer. He’s ungodly hot and wearing the ugliest outfit I’ve ever seen. I almost wish Tinkerbell was here to make fun of it. Who wears a trench coat anymore? He looks like he walked out of a 40’s mob movie. I can tell immediately that the man is trouble. See, I’ve been in this business long enough to know that the more boring someone looks, the more trouble they bring. And Castiel Novak makes beige look exciting. The guy looks like he gets off to spreadsheets. God, what I wouldn’t give to see what he looks like when he comes… Focus Dean. Focus. I don’t bother to move my boots off the desk as I draw in a lung full of smoke from my cigarette. I ain’t trying to impress anyone. I stare as Castiel pushes open the door to my office, oversized trench coat flapping behind him, looking like filthy sex in the most boring wrapping. He looks adorable as he scowls at the chair in front of my desk. He looks like an angry kitten as he begrudgingly sits down. “Can I help you with something chief?” I draw another drag from my cigarette. “Pretty sure you don’t have an appointment.”

SORE LOSER // t. nott
RATING: R / 3.6K WORDS

Theodore Nott x Gender Neutral Reader Insert

Between the day you had and the evening you’d failed to make relaxing for yourself, you would have assumed you’d be ready to pass out. But for some reason, you could not fall asleep.
You weren’t sure how long you’d been lying here, tossing and turning amongst the golden silk sheets, but you knew it had to have been a while.
The quiet breathing of your dorm mates beyond the canopy curtains, had slowly transformed into calculated, deep inhales and little snores. You knew that you were the only one left awake, and for some reason that made you feel even less confident you’d ever get to sleep, simply because of how focused you currently were on the little sounds they made.
The whole room was too quiet and the cold stone walls seemed to amplify every single breath that was taken in and bed spring that creaked. It was maddening.
You rolled to your left side and shut your eyes, the change in position was comfortable and gave you a bit of hope until the student to your right let out an echoing snort and a few nonsensical murmurs.
At that moment, you huffed and yanked your duvet back, feeling the cold air scrape along your exposed skin. You pulled the canopy curtains aside and let your feet hang over the bed. With a whispered summoning charm, your slippers whizzed to your feet. You stood and made your way to the foot of your bed.
Your shaking fingers gripped the heavy lip of your clothing trunk. The old wood creaked against its hinges as you slowly eased it open, wincing at the interrupting sound.
Hopefully, it wasn’t loud enough to wake any of your dorm mates. You plucked your soft robe off of the hook fixed to one of the bed’s posts and slipped it over your shoulders.
Quickly, you selected a change of clothes, toiletries, and a towel, before easing the trunk lid back down.
You shuffled over to the dormitory entrance and slipped through the heavy door. You supposed if anything would make you sleepy, it’d be a nice, warm bath. If that didn’t do it, you may resort to knocking yourself out.
Once outside the dorm, you readjusted everything stacked in your arms and held your breath. A second passed before your body felt as if it was sucked into a tube.
Whooshing sounds echoed all around you, and your arms struggled to keep all of your supplies clutched together. Just as it felt as though you were about to drop your things, your feet landed on solid stone ground. Your legs wobbled just slightly as you gathered your bearings, recognizing the gorgeous stained glass shimmers that belonged to the Prefect’s bathroom.
As your eyes adjusted to the change in lighting, you noticed that the grand pool had already been filled to the brim with steaming, bubbly water. With a sigh, you smiled and set your stuff down one one of the benches lining the water.
It never failed that the castle read your mind and prepared exactly what you wanted. You had previously thought that the only part of the castle that could read one’s mind was the Room of Requirement, but you soon discovered other areas of the castle could also do it.
With a deep sigh, you worked the knot of your robe loose and let the heavy material slide off your arms. It hit the floor with a muffled thump. Next, you tugged the old tee shirt over your head. The cold air swirled around your exposed breasts, coaxing your nipples up and forward.
You slipped your bottoms down your legs. Colored moonlight shone across your thighs and hands.
Just as your bottoms hit your ankles, you stepped out of your slippers and the thin fabric puddled atop them.
Even though you could wash them, the thought of your underwear touching the bare bathroom floor was too much for you to handle. You stifled a gag at the thought.
Turning, you slipped strands of hair behind your ears and walked to the edge of the pool. The tile was cold and biting beneath your feet, but the water was warm and inviting. Even from the rim, you could feel its heat radiating up.
Settling a toe into the water, you could feel the heat spread across your feet and up. Chills erupted along your whole body as the warmth combated against your cold skin.
You sank the rest of your body down the stairs, each inch submerging more of your aching muscles.
Once you settled all the way down, and sat on the edge of the tile that jutted out near your hips, you closed your eyes. The warm water ringed around your neck, soothing every bit of your body.
You couldn’t help but let a slight moan slip between your lips as your skin heated up.
You could already feel the pain and insomnia alleviating.
Your fingers wiggled aimlessly in the black emptiness, their weightlessness easing your mind. If you picked your feet up, the pool was just deep enough that you’d float.
A thought passed briefly before your eye. You gasped and opened your eyes.
For a moment, it felt as though someone might be here. The feeling creeped up your spine and niggled in the base of your skull.
You glanced around, the tips of your damp hair gliding across your neck. The light from the grand windows was just enough to cast glares across your eyes as it reflected off the water. It was near impossible for you to see anything at the opposite end of the pool clearly. It all just seemed to disappear into the dark.
Trying to ignore the feeling, you murmured a locking spell, hearing the door’s lock clunk into place. If someone had been in here, you would not have been able to just walk in. They would have locked it. Surely.
You shook those thoughts away and turned to reach for your things laid out across the bench. You selected some hair oil and body wash—the same you’d used since you were a child—and set them just at the edge of the pool.
The water splashed gently as you wet your hair and face. The only sound was the soft pattering of the water and your breathing.
As you lathered the oils into your hair, your eyes shut and you thought of the stressors that had thrown themselves at you earlier today.
Not only had you spilled your tea all over your bottoms (and were late to class because of it), you’d actually gotten something wrong in your class today. And that wasn’t even the most frustrating part of it. Everybody got things wrong in class from time to time, but no one had ever gotten a fact wrong in the middle of a debate with the only asshole in Hogwarts that had ever managed to upstage you. And to make matters even worse, it was a debate on Astrological matters, which was your best fucking class.
It was humiliating. You could still see the way that bloody Theodore Nott had smirked when he realized you’d misspoken. He knew he’d gotten you cornered, and you’d known you were screwed.
How pathetic.
You rinsed your soapy hair out, wringing the excess bubbles from the strands and watching them pool around you in the water.
“I haven’t gotten a show like this in a while—”
A scream left you as shock splattered across your body. You turned anxiously, trying to find the source of the voice, while simultaneously trying to cover your naked body.
Finally, your eyes landed on a figure in the darkness, hidden by the rays from the window.
“Who’s there?” you demanded, covering your body beneath the water.
Then he walked into the light and you recognized the very boy you were trying to ignore. Theodore Nott.
Your eyes betrayed your mind and glanced down, tracing the tight muscles that ran along his entire body. Quidditch would do that to a boy, you supposed.
“Hey, Hufflepuff,” he whispered, edging closer.
“No, Nott,” you said, holding a finger out. “You stay back… Cover your eyes and I’ll get out and leave.”
He was now standing a few feet from you. You could see the details in his unfortunately gorgeous face. A deep smirk was drawn across his lips. The light behind him illuminated him like a god. You swallowed nervously.
“What if I don’t want to cover my eyes? Or want you to leave?” he asked, cocking his head to the slide slightly.
With every word, he slid slowly closer, the soapy water trailed over his naked stomach. Even at your full height, the water consumed most of your chest. You hadn’t remembered him being this tall.
He stopped just before you, your head directed upwards just to look him in the eye. The moonlight carved into one of your eyes, painting your skin in reds and greens and blues.
One of his fingers slowly came up to trace the lines of the patterns the stained glass cast on your cheek. Then you were stepping back away from him.
“Uh, Nott, that’s not a good idea,” you shuddered, looking away from him. You pulled some of the bubbles closer to your chest to conceal yourself.
Standing naked in a relatively small body of water with your notorious academic rival wasn’t exactly the greatest idea. The thought of his hands being so close to your exposed body was making you nervous.
He was gorgeous—that much was obvious. Given the chance, you’d likely sleep with him but—
Given the chance, you’d likely sleep with him. Was this your chance? Merlin, you were pathetic.
“Why not? Call me Theo, by the way,” he said, walking back over to you.
“Erm, alright, Theo…this isn’t a good idea.”
“You haven’t answered my question.”
“Well…,” you started. You couldn’t lie—it was hard to think of a reason why the two of you couldn’t do something, besides the whole rival thing. “Because you’re a Slytherin.”
You almost rolled your eyes at what you’d blurted out. Because you’re a Slytherin. What, were you five years old? You refrained from slapping a hand to your face.
He chuckled a bit and placed an arm to the right of your head, caging you against the wall of the pool even more. Your hands shook beneath the water.
“Because I’m a Slytherin? Isn’t that a reason to want to fuck me?”
Heat shot to your abdomen, but it wasn’t from the water surrounding the two of you.
“I’m sure I don’t know what you mean,” you laughed nervously. His other arm went beside the left side of your head. He had now completely caged you in.
You could hardly believe how he was behaving. You didn’t think he’d even noticed except when you were in the middle of one of your heated class debates.
Then, he not only noticed you, but he saw you as well. His eyes looked through you and into you. His lips formed every word so perfectly as he pushed and fought for the win, and, damn it, if it wasn’t one of the sexiest things you’d ever seen.
Those debates always had you panting and with your hands between your legs. All except for today. You’d never lost before.
You win every time, you feel the tension between his desperation to overcome you, you fuck yourself beneath your sheets. You lose, he feels the tension, he fucks you? Was that how this worked?
“Come on, Hufflepuff,” he whispered, face so close to yours. “You know you want to. I know you feel it when we debate. The way your eyes always flicker down to my lips, the way your cheeks flush. That’s not just nerves from a debate. No…” He leaned down beside your cheek, lips gently caressing your ear. “It’s lust.”
He pulled back and watched the changes in your eyes. Fear was keeping you from slamming your lips into his, but desire was urging you to take him right there. You were frozen.
The back of his index finger stroked the outside of your arm. It traced slowly up the curve of your elbow, then your bicep, then your shoulder. It stopped when he reached your collarbone.
At that point, his hand turned and pressed its palm between your clavicles. His hand was so large, the tips of his finger spanned up to the top of your throat.
The heat from his skin was ten-thousand times hotter than the water. Your eyes fluttered.
“Say you want it,” he whispered. Your eyes opened again.
Could you even say yes to this? After years of pining after him, would there even be a point? A quick fuck and then the two of you never talked again? That didn’t sound good to you.
Still, the pulsing between your thighs was almost too much to bear. Between the light cutting across your skin, the hot water, and his skin on yours, you found it impossible to even move your lips enough to form words.
Desperate for more of him, you ignored all of your doubts and nodded your head.
Without another moment, the hand on your chest cupped your jawline and pulled your lips to his.
His lips were hot and wanting—angry, almost. His tongue pried your lips open with a cruelty that was unmatched. Your shaking fingers lingered on the edge of his naked chest as he kissed you open. You wanted so badly to touch him, but—
You gasped. His hands roughly grabbed yours and pressed them flat against his chest. He must have sensed your hesitation to touch him.
He pressed your body even farther against the edge of the pool as his lips detached from yours and attached to your neck.
You’re gasping and your stomach is broiling and heat is building between your legs and everything in you feels like it’s engorging.
With a gained moment of confidence, your fingers rose to curl in his damp hair. Your fingernails scraped gently over his scalp, to which he replied with a sighing moan against your skin. His hot breath blown against you made chills erupt down your arms.
His fingertips traced down your sides, eliciting flames with their trail. You shuddered beneath his body which controlled your every move.
Once they’d reached the top of your thighs, he pulled away from your neck and placed his forehead against yours. Panting against your lips, his body smelled lightly of his toothpaste and the heat between the two of you.
“Can I?” he breathed.
“C-can you what?” you stuttered, fingers holding onto his shoulders like a vice. The water was warm around you.
“Can I fuck you?” He didn’t linger on the question. He just asked. His confidence was like a drug. His nose brushed yours as his fingers slipped toward the inside of your thigh, teasing farther and farther, until you let out a stifled whimper and nodded your head frantically.
Then he was sinking his hand between your wet thighs and grasping you within his palms. You gasped beneath the pressure of his large hand. The pure size of him covered the entirety of your core far better than yours ever could.
The amount of nights you’d spent imagining this happening with Theo was lengthy, but you’d never imagined how much bigger he truly was.
Your eyes clenched tightly at the sensation. Your lips mouthed his name silently, your fingers scraped down his back. He groaned against your lips at the sensation, the pain urging him on.
“Turn around,” he demanded. He released your sex and grasped your waist roughly.
The speed with which he turned you around and leaned you over the rim of the pool had your head spinning. The cold tile pressed against your bare chest and stomach, the shocking sensation blurring your eyes.
The edge of the pool bit into your hip bones as he raised your ass out of the water and balanced you against it.
You placed your hands down to try and rearrange yourself when Theo grabbed them and pulled them behind you. They were held tightly against your tailbone, clutched meanly in just one of his hands.
You groaned at the sensation, the tile rubbing against your sensitive nipples and core. Fuck. Between the heat of the water still covering your legs and the freezing tile, your heart was racing.
“You’d better be loud for me, baby,” Theo said, free hand tracing down the line of your ass. “Want all of the school to hear who’s fucking you so well, okay?”
One finger breached your entrance suddenly, the sudden feeling causing your body to jolt forward away from the boy behind you.
“Fuck, Theo,” you moaned.
“That’s it, baby,” he growled. “Let me hear you.”
He worked you open gently, surprisingly letting you adjust to every inch of his lengthy finger before he added a second, then a third finger.
Once he felt you were stretched enough, he hummed approvingly.
“Breathe for me, darling,” he whispered. “Gonna hurt just a little bit…”
Then he was pressing himself against your entrance as anticipation swirled in your stomach. Your cheek pressed against the cold bathroom tile.
When he pushed into you, your fists clenched so tightly, your fingernails bit sharply into your palms. You were sure blood was pooling across your fingers.
“Fuck,” he groaned. “You’re so fucking tight. You ever been stretched like this?”
You moaned loudly as he slowly worked himself out, then pressed himself back into you. Every inch of his length was tracing every inch of your insides, claiming your body as his.
His free hand came down hard against your ass. You yelped loudly at the sensation, the sound echoing throughout the bathroom.
“Answer my fucking question,” he demanded, hand around your wrists squeezing tighter.
“No! No…never,” you moaned louder.
“All those fucking debates,” he growled, beginning to pound into you harder. “Always giving me that fucking smirk when you win. It got to the point where I wanted you to win so you would give me that smirk and turn to the rest of the class and bow. I could always get the perfect view of your ass. Merlin, I wanted to bend you over the fucking desk and show everyone what a bitch you are.”
You groaned at his filthy words.
“You may have won those fucking debates, but I’ve won this fucking body. You’re mine.”
“Theo,” you whined shamelessly, your finish building up rapidly within your lower stomach. Your shoulders were beginning to cramp from where Theo was holding you so tightly.
“Yeah, baby? That feel good?” he teased. “Always wanted to make you feel…sogood…”
Every last word was punctuated by a particularly sharp thrust.
The sloshing of the water between the two of you splashed up around your hips, coating you in its warmth. Every sensation was building and beginning to become too much.
It wasn’t long before your hands were clenching again and your hips started to shift. You were so close and Theo knew it.
“Fuck, I can feel you tightening around me,” he groaned. His voice was cracking slightly with every few words. His fucked out rasp echoed off the walls, traveling around and crashing into your ears.
The sound alone was enough to push you over the edge, but the hot stripe that he leaned down and licked along the length of your back finished you.
You came hard. Your stomach clenched as your eyes rolled upwards.
Your orgasm slipped into the water between the two of you.
The sensation of your finish clenching around Theo had his thrusts becoming more desperate and disorganized. He only lasted a few more strokes before he was cumming shamelessly inside of you.
He released your arms and laid across your back, groaning deeply as he finished himself off, pulling himself out and then pushing back in. He pumped you full of his cum a few more times until the sticky sensation was rippling overstimulation through him.
“Fuck, that was perfect,” he groaned against your wet spine. He placed an open-mouthed kiss against your flesh there, his tongue curling against you.
You moaned sleepily, only half-present as he pulled himself off of you. He helped you slide comfortably off the edge of the pool and settle your cold top half into the warm water.
You sighed comfortably and looked up at him.
“I had no idea you were such a sore loser,” you teased.
He smirked, a small chuckle coming from between his lips. He leaned across you and selected your hair oil from where it still stood on the tile, long forgotten about.
He poured a bit into his hands before turning back to your tired body. His fingers slid against your scalp, lathering the product into your dampened strands. Fuck, his fingers weren’t just good inside of you… Your eyes slipped shut as he washed your hair so gently.
His lips pressed softly against the shell of your ear. “The only one around here who’s going to be sore is you, baby.”

The Cat-astrophe Next Door – College life was already chaotic enough, but things took a sharp left turn when your sweet, innocent cat ended up pregnant—thanks to the mysterious feline next door. turns out, the culprit is none other than liho, the smug, too-handsome-for-his-own-good cat belonging to your intimidating (and unfairly attractive) condo neighbor, natasha romanoff.
In Sickness and In Soup – You planned a cozy welcome home for Natasha Romanoff—clean apartment, candles, kisses. But instead, she comes home early to find you sick as a dog, buried under blankets and full of complaints. A Tune and a Drink
singer!reader x bartender!sun/ moon
Suprise! Have a little something. You are a singer in the 1930's and two specific bartenders have caught your eye, just like you have caught theirs.
I even have a musik recommendation for this one. Habits - Vintage 1930's cover and Levitating - 1920s style cover by PostmodernJukebox on YouTube. Check em' out they're really good.
with that said, enjoy
It’s the 1930’s, the era of glamour, fashion, parties but most of all, good music. Big cities are getting bigger, new opportunities arise on all sides, technology is advancing and you are right in the middle of it.
You are known throughout the whole city, not famous enough to be known across states but known enough that clubs and bars fight to have you sing on their stage. To have you bless their establishments with your voice and draw in the people, so these people make their bar The City Bar.
Whenever you agree to sing at their club they make it known immediately. Whether that is through the newspaper, telling their guests who tell it their acquaintances, or hanging papers around the city.
“downright heavenly”
“the voice of an angel”
“as powerful as it’s wonderful”
“rich with a beautiful smoky undertone” they call your voice. A bit of an exaggeration you think, you can agree on the smoky undertone but the rest. It must be because you hear your voice every day, when you wake from sleep, when you talk, when you warm up, when you practice when you sing.
But other people only hear you when you sing, it isn’t often it is a special occasion, it is desired it is sought after. To them it means so much and therefore it means so much to you. To sing for people, to lighten their day, to make them happy.
There is barely ever you turn down an offer to sing, it is simply a matter of when you have time again. More often than not you don’t come back to a bar for a month or two, too busy singing somewhere else, writing, or any other reason.
So why is it, that even with such a full schedule, you always find time to come back to sing at one certain high-profile bar named Celestias.
People wonder. Is it close to home. Do you have a deal with the bar. Does it mean something to you. Is it the celebrities that frequent this establishment. Or is it simply the wonderful view of the river that divides the city, that flows right by the building.
All good guesses, but utterly wrong.
The reason you keep returning is the bar, those how tend to it specifically. Two highly advanced Animatronics.
Metal polished like a brand new 540 K Special-Roadster, but not just a car. Highly advanced machinery capable of many things, but not an industrial machine. Eyes that see, hands that move, mouths that speak, but not human.
The robot pair is truly unique with their circular faces and wonderful colors. One bright as a golden Charleston-dress under a chandelier, eyes so wonderfully bleu they seem to be carved out of the ocean itself with a crown of metallic rays. The other shines like a blue evening gown under a low light, eyes as dangerous and enticing as a ruby with a long silk night cap that looks like it was sewn from the night sky.
Both with crescents that split their faces in the fashion of theater masks.
Both wear high-quality suits, the black of the suits contrast with their color, making their color shine even more and complementing their long limbs. A thick tie sits at the base of their slim metal necks, the end tucked neatly into their suits. The golden animatronic’s tie is a rich scarlet as well as his half gloves that always cover the animatronic’s hands. The blue animatronic’s tie and gloves contrast his counterparts wonderfully with their deep navy blue.
The robots are the bar's pride and joy, placed where everybody passes by, and the reason why they come here. The bar.
You noticed the animatronics the first time you visited, they were hard to miss as the owner proudly showed you them, even when it was from across the room. After that you had no time to pay the two bartenders any mind, quickly surrounded by people eager to meet you followed by your performance only to once again be surrounded by more people.
It was only your third visit that you truly saw them, and saw them you did. In the middle of your performance your gaze wandered to the bar, and what you saw was the golden robot cleaning a glass and looking at you.
You were no stranger to being looked at, your place was the stage after all, but the way the robot looked at you was different from the usual. Almost love-struck in that wonderful half-lidded lazy smile kind of way.
Your response to the animatronic’s gaze was a particular smile while singing a more romantic part of your song. This would have people hiding their faces as they reddened, have them melting on the table they are leaning on, or your favorite, bring a hand to their face as they hide their giddy giggles.
This however was not the response you got from the bartender.
Instead, you got a raised eyebrow and an amused smile, the robot placed the glass below the counter without braking eye contact. “Are you sure?” he said without making a sound. A challenge.
A challenge that you accepted.
For the rest of your performance during any particular romantic part of the song you made sure to let your gaze glide to the bar and exchange look with it’s bartender. His expression had changed ever so slightly from the first time you caught him looking. Still mostly the same but now with a hint of danger mixed in.
You could feel the tension between the bar and the stage rise with each exchanged look, neither of you breaking eye contact during the few seconds you had.
It was the most exciting performance you had in a long while, but it had to come to an end. The night just started and you needed to save your voice for your continued performance later in the night.
Immediately you were surrounded and distracted by people once you started your brake. Even though you couldn’t see the bartender you were pretty sure he saw you. Shortly after you began your brake a waiter came up to you, on a silver platter sat a single beautiful decorated crystal glass. The glass is short and wide like a whisky glass.
A rich orange liquid filled the short glass to a perfect half. When you asked the waiter who sent you the drink he simply said “It’s on the house.” You had ever the slightest hunch from whom it came. When you sipped from the glass the taste of honey sweet and yet smoky whisky filled your mouth, followed by a fruity aftertaste.
You couldn’t help the little that spread on your lips.
Later in the evening, your performance continued. But this time it was not the golden robot tending to the bar but his blue counterpart. A little childish part of you wanted to make the two bartenders jealous of each other, make them vie for your attention.
While resting the owner had told you more about the robots, how highly advanced they were, how they are unique and that there is no second pair like them, how they work together like a well-oiled machine. “Almost like twins,” he said.
‘Twins’
Maybe you can cause a little bit of a sibling rivalry then.
Nothing too bad, just a little bit of fun.
You didn’t even need to get the robot's attention, when you let your gaze wander to the bar he was already giving it all to you. You went through the whole routine again, you smile at the bartender during a romantic part of the song, he raises one eyebrow in a challenge and you accept.
And just like his counterpart, he did not break eye contact as the few seconds you had each song ticked by.
This went on for a few songs until his counterpart returned. When you looked back to the bar you saw the two of them talking, the blue one facing away from you and the other blocked by his counterpart. They looked neither irate or iterated, rather they looked natural at least from what you could tell during those few seconds before you returned your gaze to the guest.
Oh, too bad.
Maybe they figured out what you trying to do and decided to ignore you then. You couldn’t really blame them, even if you did. A fun challenge ended because you wanted some excitement in your life.
When next you returned your gaze to the bar you where meet not by one but two pairs of glowing eyes, both pairs half lidded accompanied by lazy smiles. The two robots have banded together.
Two robots band together against you in order to win this challenge, that is known only to you three. They might have been at a numbers advantage, but if they thought that you were going to let them win they were in the wrong. You were not going to back out just because it got more exciting.
And so this challenge went on for the rest of the evening and into the night, unbeknownst to the other guests in the large room.
By the time your performance ended it was well into the night, the sun was long gone and the moon took its place in the sky.
And just like always the moment you step off the stage you were surrounded by people eager to snag all your attention for themselves. You gave them your attention, but not all. Just like on stage, you glanced towards the bar but there were no eyes meeting you.
The bartenders had returned to their duty, now that your performance was over the guests wanted their drinks. Both animatronics hands move at impossible speed around the bar, you were surprised they didn’t knock anything over at the speed at which they were moving.
Your challengers are distracted by their duty so you allowed yourself the be distracted as well.
Not long after a different waiter came up to you, on the silver platter a tall wide decorated crystal glass. It almost looked like a whine glass but not quite, that moment you decided that you’d have to brush up on your glass etiquette. The liquid inside this glass was deep red, along the edge a ring of sugar.
Again as you asked who this is from the waiter said “It is on the house.”
You toke a sip and the sweet flavor of wine spread across your tongue along with a light taste of citrus from the ring around the glass.
That’s when you decided you have to come back and come back often.
And so you did.
Over the following months, you were at the bar at the very least once a month. Every time without fail, after you went on brake or finished your performance, a waiter would come up to you with a wonderfully decorated glass and the best-tasting drink inside of it.
Once, when your voice wasn’t the best to the point where it was hard to miss that you weren’t at your best, a waiter brought you a simple glass, inside was warm milk with honey when you asked who sent it the answer was “The bar.”
Months and months have past, and a good amount of change happened both in your career and in your relation ship with the bartenders.
Career-wise you have taken off. Now recognized and sought after outside the state you were busy going to new locations, meeting new people, meeting contemporaries, and singing your new songs.
You were outside the city more often and longer, but you made it a point to always drop by your bartenders.
Your bartenders, with whom you have not exchanged a single word since you first saw each other. The bartenders with whom your relationship has developed past a simple challenge.
The looks you exchange have not increased in length, which was nigh impossible while you stand on stage, but they have increased intensity.
Their looks are no longer love-struck but devouring. Every time they look at you they drink up your entire being, as if your existence and your existence alone keeps them alive. They now let their eyes wander across your form, you never see them doing it but you can feel their eyes on you.
As their eyes travel up and down your body, drinking it in. The way you move, the way your costume lays against your skin, the slightest of wrinkles in your clothing, the smallest of hairs it doesn’t matter. They absorb it all, like a flower after drought drinking up all the water it can get.
That night when you first noticed their eyes traveling you, you almost lost the challenge.
When your gaze followed the path it took so many times before, you saw them. Sitting behind the bar counter, leaning on it as they rested their faces in their hands. They had no shame as they showered you with their affection, attention, adoration and anything else they could give you through their eyes alone.
You immediately felt your face heat up and the urge to hide your face but you caught yourself before you looked away. Your cheeks remained a soft shade of pink trough the rest of the night and your singing had a bit more pep in your step.
Not long after you reviled a new song that made big waves and that caused you to become more known. A song about the sun and the moon, how the singer basks in the sun's warm light, how the singer would follow the moon's beautiful light anywhere and never feel alone, how the singer oh so loves the celestial bodies and their wonderful light, how they wouldn’t know how to live without them.
You let the song spread before you visited your favorite bar again, you wanted to play with them before returning the favor of a warm face. And play with them you did. You teased, called members of the audience the sun and the moon, said how the song is devoted to all and everyone. You played up how this song is to remind of the things one easily takes for granted and that whole spiel.
In the corner of your eye you could see how the robots seemed to deflate with each word. It hurt, and a lot more than you expected but you had to do it so it would hit just as hard as their affection.
When the part came where the singer talks about their love for the sun and moon you let your gaze wander before firmly landing on the bartenders, you had not looked to them before this part of the song. You didn’t care to hide your smug smile on your face as you look at your dear bartenders.
And it worked, like a charm.
They went rigid as they listened to the words coming out of your mouth, completely and fully directed at them.
The cheeks of the robots started to glow a bright orange as some mechanism in their face began to overheat, small puffs of steam expelled from their joints as they tried to cool themselves. And just like you, they almost lost the challenge.
Those few seconds felt like hours, hours their eyes were glued onto you before you released them. From the corner of your eye you could see them fanning their face, desperately trying to cool the mechanism in their face and failing.
For the rest of your performance, their cheeks remained a soft warm orange.
And now, here you are.
Sitting in front of your vanity in your brand new apartment right above your favorite bar. The owner had gifted it to you as a thanks for visiting the bar so often and coincidentally bringing in more guests and therefore income.
Said guests have started to slowly leave the bar below as it is about to close. You can hear the distant chatter of people through your open balcony door. After one more look at yourself in your vanity mirror, checking your makeup and hair to see if it is acceptable to leave your apartment in these conditions, you get up the close the balcony door.
The chatter has significantly lessened since the beginning of closing time. The few people outside must be the last stragglers.
The bar is now officially closed.
When you return to your vanity you catch yourself in the mirror again. Your simple dark blue dress pants reach slightly over your ankle. They blend well together with your black shoes, they are not your highest shoe when it comes to heel shoes but your favorite, they give you just a few inches more.
A light green poke dot poncho hangs from your shoulders, down to your thighs. It's loose and frilly, one of your favorites. It shows enough of your silhouette but not too much, even if that doesn’t really matter since you’ve worn very form-fitting costumes on stage before.
And yet again you contemplate your looks, you have been doing this for far too long. Changing outfits, makeup, hairstyles and changing the outfit again.
You never have trouble picking an outfit for performances before. So why is it that you are struggling now to pick an outfit, your not even preparing for a performance.
You just want to finally actually meet your bartenders.
You have been exchanging looks with them for months, basically flirted with each other back and forth. Hell, you have even confessed each other's love for one another. You wrote an entire song to do it.
So why are you so nerves.
You look at yourself in the mirror for many moments and as the doubts about your clothing start to make their way back in your head and gnawing at your confidence, you all but run out the door. If you change again you’ll never meet the two.
They are already head over heels for you and so are you.
You make your way down the stairs. The staircase is illuminated by small decorative lamps along the walls, their colored glass shades bath the space in a warm yellow. With a rhythmic tack tack tack of your heals you make your way down the stairs.
Once you’re at the bottom you stand in the back hallways of the bar. No simple guest is allowed back here and yet the hallways are equally as decorated as the main floor. You haven’t had time to familiarize yourself with the all corridors, but you know the way to the stage entrance.
The path is well light and as you step on to the backstage, slowly you pass the curtain that decorates the side of the stage, the light just above welcomes you as always. Your heart is beating like insane in your chest and you have to take a couple of deep breaths to calm before you fully step out onto the stage.
The view of this usably packed place, now completely empty is more than a bit strange but that is not what you focus on. You focus on the bar and its lack of attendants. The bar sits completely empty, there is not a single metallic shine of robotic limbs to be seen. To say your heart drops would be an understatement.
Did you miss them, they should be here, they are always behind the bar. Do they just leave once the bar is closed.
Where are they.
As fear begins to pluck at your heartstrings, what if you don’t meet them now, will you ever actually meet them. Are the three of you cursed to only look at each other.
Suddenly a muffled noise from somewhere even further behind the bar gets your attention. You walk to the very edge of the stage and lean over the edge to listen for that muffled noise again.
It sounds like a conversation. And just when you think that it might be them, you see a flash of blue pass by a doorway in the bar’s wall that you didn’t even notice was there. All these months you look at the bar and nerve noticed that it has a backroom, well you were more so looking at the bartenders. But that doesn’t matter now, they are still here, you didn’t miss them.
Immediately your mood brightens by the power of the sun. You hop of the stage as quietly as possible and tiptoe your way to the bar counter. Easier said than done thanks to your heals.
You are full of energy and nerves, your heart is doing leaps in your chest. You are as giddy as a kid whose dad is taking them to the toys shop to pick out a new toy.
In an attempt to stop the giggle building in your throat you bite your tongue. However that doesn’t stop the stupid smile on your face from spreading.
In on swift and quite motion you sit yourself on one of the bar chairs. You remain unnoticed. On top of the bar counter are two little bras bells, one with details painted in yellow and the other in blue. You have a hunch for what these bells are for.
Past the door, the conversation between the unknowing animatronics continues. You take one deep breath, then you ring both bells at once with a gentle tap of your finger. The sound the bells make is beautiful and light, but your trained ear can hear that one of the bells has a bit more reverb than the other.
The conversation comes to a stop and hear what you think is a synthetic sigh. Then out from the door steps one of your dear bartenders. His rays catch the light from above and give him the appearance of a glowing crown. His wonderful blue eyes don’t meet yours as he looks down to his hands where he works on putting his red half-glove back on his exposed hand.
His had is a wonderful shining chrome, the tips of his fingers are a brilliant yellow.
When he speaks his voice is butter-smooth and honey-sweet when he talks. “The bar is closed for tonight.” He sounds exhausted, like he had to have this conversation often. “I’ll have to ask you to leave-“
He finally looks up and meets your eyes, immediately freezing mid-step. He looks at you wide-eyed, surprised to see you of all people here.
“Oh, if you don’t want me here I can leave again.” You say as you turn on the chair as if to get up. “Ah- No. Stay.” The animatronic blurts out as he steps closer to the counter, one ungloved hand stretch out as if to stop you from leaving.
You lean back on the counter and smile at the sunbot, resting your head on the palm of your hand. “I’ll stay then.”
“Yes stay here.” The animatronic says quietly, sweetly, as he moves even closer. He drinks in your very being like he did so many times before, only closer now.
Your face warms up, about to catch fire. Already you can tell, that if he speaks even more sweetly to you, this will be a lethal encounter.
At least you know the names of your demise, after all the bar owner proudly told you their names during your very first performance.
From behind your Sun his counterpart emerges, his nightcap lazily resting on his shoulder, he is also not wearing his half gloves. Just like his counterpart, his hands are a shining chrome and his fingertips are a deep blue.
“Sun, what’s going on?”
You just about die. His voice is nothing short of heavenly. Deep and lush, simply beautiful. You can feel the vibration of his voice down your spine.
The lunar bot meets your eyes and visibly brightens. “Oh~.” You are deceased. “Finally decided to visit us~.” The animatronic says with a grin, showing his sharp teeth. He steps around his counterpart and stands next to him.
“Oh, you know. I had nothing else to do.” You lean forward, closer to them and fold your fingers together before resting your head on them. Both robots lean forward as well, closing the distance between you even more.
“Plus, I thought things were getting a bit boring, so I thought we make it a bit more exiting.” The smile that spreads across your face is smug.
Both bots raise their eyebrows, just like they did the first time. “More exciting? And how might we do that.” The golden bot asks.
Without saying a word you free your hand and reach for the sun bots face. His gaze follows your hand. Gently and slowly you reach under the bots chin and lift it, from where he was looking down at your hand, to look at you.
“Oh, nothing too big.” You say sweetly.
His internal workings kick into overdrive, the wiring inside his chest becomes louder, puffs of steam seep through his suit and the metal of his cheeks becomes a hot orange. The rays around his face fold back against his head and he stammers something before he wraps his hand around yours and removes it from his face as it is getting to hot.
However, he doesn’t let go of your hand.
Next to him, Moon lets out a dark chuckle and it’s your turn to melt.
“Playing the jealousy game again?” The bot accuses you amused. “It was worth a try. Don’t you think?” You retort playfully.
He chuckles again. His gaze lands on Sun who has slightly recovered from your flirt, now he examines your hand with a loving fascination. You follow Moon's gaze and watch Sun as he gently turns over your hand.
It is only then that you realize how much bigger Sun's hand is compared to yours, his hand completely engulfs your with ease. A few seconds later you realize how much bigger they are in general. Sitting at a bar with a human bartender, you see eye to eye but with these two you have to crane your neck to look them in the eye, even if they are already hunched over.
So lost in your realization, you barely notice the hand that is coming towards your face. Blue fingertips gently tuck a strand of hair behind your ear before tracing your skin and cupping your face.
You can't help but lean into the cool chrome hand and let out a small sigh. You relax as a cool thump softly draws circles on your cheek and yellow-tipped fingers work their way up your arm.
And there you remain for longer, with your dear bartenders, no longer confined to look at you, but now able to touch you just as gently as they looked at you.

*offers a candy bar and a Reddit coin (hey what’s that doing here?)* this is all I have to offer. can I request how the LADS guys smell? love your blog!
insert the: *i've been waiting for this one, turn it up!* tiktok sound. i accept your humble offerings with pleasure because this was SO fun to write! and something i randomly think about a lot??? so i hope i did our boys justice <3
rating: sfw cw: descriptions of specific smells ✉︎♡: ask box open, tumblr users + anons
Xavier: -His everyday cologne is Jean Paul Gautier’s “Le Male” - “the power and freshness of mint and lavender, evoking the familiar, comforting scent of shaving soap, is transformed by the sensuality of vanilla.” -Out of all of the boys, I can see Xavier wearing cologne the least. He just doesn’t remember to do it that often, unless the two of you are going on a fancier date -That being said, his natural scent is still wonderful -Think floating on a cloud of warm, fresh laundry -You steal his hoodies even on days he doesn’t wear cologne just so you can wrap yourself up in his natural scent
Zayne: -Wears Chanel “Bleu de Chanel” - “Features a fresh citrus accord followed by ambery cedar. Woody notes are amplified by tonka bean and vanilla for heightened sensuality. New Caledonian sandalwood unfolds at the base for greater depth, leaving a captivating trail.” -This cologne is inconspicuous enough that if he wore it for patient check ups it wouldn’t be overpowering, while still being noticeable enough that you think of him any time you encounter the scent -Most likely to wear cologne the most often. He prides himself in being perfectly hygienic and put together, and part of that is making sure he always smells good -When he isn’t wearing cologne, he smells perfectly clean. Like that just-cleaned-the-house smell, but no chemicals. More like a fresh breeze coming through the window
Rafayel: -His cologne is Tom Ford "Soleil Blanc" - “a floral amber scent that evokes remote private islands where summer lasts all year. Alive with seductive cardamom and refreshingly decadent ylang ylang, Soleil Blanc unapologetically exudes the endless pursuit of sun and luxury.” -We’re basically going for with a lighter scent, with some floral notes and a touch of the ocean -Likes to use scented lotion too, even if it’s yours, and will ask you if you think he smells pretty every time he does -It could be the length of his hair or the way it curls at the ends, but it holds product for so long and you can smell his shampoo every morning when you wake up together -It takes all of your strength not to stick your nose in his hair and inhale, because he definitely teased you about it the first time you tried
Sylus: -Y’all the way I struggled between choosing something for our boy’s expensive taste and something that I thought actually fit him from a scent perspective (I went with the latter) -Viktor and Rolf’s "Spicebomb Dark Leather" - “Like an illicit encounter between dark leather and bare skin. Explosive notes of spicy black pepper and nutmeg. Deeply masculine base notes of dark leather and tobacco, leaving behind a trail of something unforgettable, yet impossible to define.” -He is the one you smell the longest after going home from a date. With such strong notes, its no wonder that your skin smells like him in all of the little places he touched -When he isn’t wearing cologne, Sylus smells like all of the things he surrounds himself with. Leather, velvet, vintage records, the slightest hint of exhaust from his motorcycle -In the mornings, you swear that he has an almost sweet sort of smell. Rich and syrupy when his skin is warm, scent mingling with yours under the covers when he pulls you close to his chest
Caleb: -Wears Calvin Klein’s “Eternity” - “Celebrates the concepts of forever and modern, multifaceted masculinity. A powerful and elegant base of suede and vetiver is layered with a heart of warm geranium and cypress. Top notes of alluring sage and apple impart crisp freshness to the lingering and compelling scent.” -It has apple top notes, c’mon I couldn’t not use it -This is a scent he’s worn for forever, so the first time he wears it when you reunite with him is emotional to say the least -You definitely don’t admit to him that you have a bottle of it at your apartment that you would spray whenever you missed him -His natural scent is very outdoorsy. He smells like the embodiment of sunshine and fresh cut grass and endless summertime

sinister ♡ suo hayato
+ virgin!freader. smutty, aged up as always- mid 20s, NOT OOC (y'all don't know him like I do), suo has a thing for virgins, implied virginity loss, implied trophy taking, kind of implied manipulation, but I did write in condom use so be very proud of me
daisy says: this has been rattling in my brain's little cage ever since I saw him- I had to get it out. I have lived long enough to see myself become the villain (I need him so bad and no longer wish to live in denial).
He was nice. He was charming. He was respectful. Those are the three characteristics you could always use to describe Hayato Suo. Or you could say enigmatic, worldy, kind of a flirt... It’s also not a bad choice to add ‘Smells like Bleu de Chanel in the spring and Tuscan Leather in the winter.’ The fact of the matter is, he was a chameleon, the perfect definition of adaptable. And that’s what made him so sinister.
The first few dates were great. A lavish dinner or two with great wine and a well of conversation that seemed to never run dry. On your third night out, there was even a little nightcap at a late-night teahouse that served as a speakeasy after hours. But, ever the gentleman, he would drive you home, walk you to your door, and gently peck you on the cheek.
“I had fun tonight,” he would hum the words low and into your ear, interlacing his fingers as he looked over you, his frame casting a shadow in the doorway.
“You can come in if you want…” Your voice was soft, timid.
“It’s late, but maybe… if we… go on another date?”
He raised an eyebrow, placing a kiss to your hand, then one to your lips.
“I’d like that,” you smiled.
As he let go of your hand, he shot a glance back your way. His eyes had a way of seeing right through you. You could never forget that gaze. There was something in it, something you could never quite put your finger on.
That next date came. It came and went and once again there you stood, his frame once again towering over you on your doorstep.
“You can come in if you want.” It rang out of you like every other time before. But call it a change in the wind, call it the stars aligning, call it what you want- this was different.
“Would you like for me to come in, Y/N?” It was sticky sweet but equally coated in a spicier innuendo.
“I thought you’d never ask.”
Another thing about Hayato Suo you could now add to your list- he was a good- no, an amazing kisser. It was as if he studied your every move before you could make one; the way his lips ebbed, the way his tongue slid against yours, he could knock the wind out of you and give you the jaws of life simultaneously. Your mouths hit one another’s and moved in complete sync as he pushed you through the threshold of the softlit apartment. Your teeth briefly clattered together as you discarded your purse and jacket, keys falling to the floor of the entryway as you never once broke or separated yourself from each other. The tension built between your bodies over the past month or so of barely-there encounters was apparent and falling away just like every piece of clothing between you that was being strewn about the hallways leading to your bedroom.
You started to come to your senses as your head hit your mattress, leaving you to gaze up at him longingly, staring with widened eyes while he worked at the buttons on his shirt. You bit your lip, scooting back and pressing your thighs together. Here you were, practically naked, save your matching bra and panty set- in front of a guy. Granted, he wasn’t just any guy- but the fact of the matter stood- you’d never been here before, never this close to the opposite sex, let alone- having sex. You wanted to, of course, but you had no idea what you were doing or even what to expect.
“Wait I- ahhh- mhm, Hay-” he cut you off.
“I’ve told you,” he laughed. “It's okay to call me Suo.” His lips stayed pressed at your neck, slowly detaching as he craned his own neck to look you in the eyes.
“You shouldn’t be so formal with me, Y/N, especially not now.”
“I’ve never- I…” the words got caught in your throat.
“You’ve never done this before,” he finished for you.
“I know. Don’t worry I’ve got you.”
How did he know? Not important- There it was again. That look. The look into you that bored right through your body. The liminal space between you was filled by barely there touches and feathering kisses down your neck, chest, and stomach. He worked his way down, stopping just between your thighs now, the heat present near your core practically calling him in. Carefully nipping at your hips, Suo caught the thin band of your underwear between his perfect teeth, tugging you out of them before tucking them in his back pocket- his new prize safely locked away. The sting of his cold hands titillated the skin at your thighs. Slowly, he ran his hands down to your knees, parting them to reveal your already glistening slit. He licked his lips as you shuddered in anticipation.
It felt as though he was barely there, fingers lazily lingering inside you, slowly inching toward the spot you needed them the most, but with no release in sight. the teasing sensation of them moving at all leaving you trying to rut yourself into him further. You weren’t strong enough for him, even with one hand.
“How badly do you want it, baby, hm?”
He wiped the side of your mouth, lolled open with drool from your dizzied state. He added a third digit to your already messy, helplessly needy hole, your walls immediately tightening in response. He was deadly as a nightshade- and you were just another flower growing in his garden, petals bright pink and ready to be picked. The quivering in your lip told him all he really needed to know, and still, he kept stringing it out, keeping you there on the brink of explosion.
“Just say you want me to fuck you and I'll do it. Say it now."
“W-want you to fuck me, please, I wan’ you to…” Your words trailed off yet again as you reached toward him, quickly pulling him down to loom over you. You had never seen him like this, but you wanted him to stay there forever. He moaned into your mouth, swatting your hands away to fumble around in his pockets for the condom he put there before leaving tonight.
You’ll never know, but he planned it this way. He was always going to be your first… he knew that, but you didn’t- you didn’t need to.
Sinister, indeed.

Now, she was a starting to be a pre-teen cookie full of life and kindness, anyone who meet her was already her friend, but the king didn't want to have ANY chance of losing her. So he search for the best, strong cookie who was willing to be her bodyguard, many cookies tried to be the one, but seeing most of them weren't strong enough for her.
The young cookie start to dream do explore the Earthbread, discovering new land, meet new people make new friends ! She was still asking for new from her sister, but he still saying that, he didn't know.... But Sweet Bleu Chocola didn't give up !! If she had to explore the Earthbread alone without her sister, then she'll do it !! After all, Louna did it before her and look at what she became : Strong, confident, have many friends, knowing how some places worked... She was sure it would be the best idea she had ever had- "That's the worse and most dangerous ideas you had ever had...!" She asked her uncle for going on a adventure alone but as you can see, he didn't agree with that. "But I'm ready to face new things ! Plus, I wanna experience what it's like to go on a adventure and all" "And that's exactly why I won't allow you to go. You're too young for those kind of things, Zakia... I don't want anything happen to you..." He confessed, while holding her, shaking a little remembering the day where Louna go to her first adventure and came back bruised with some friends... He can't allow that to her...!!
"Uncle, you know it's a part of life to have small injuries, plus, how can I be a good queen if I don't see myself how the Earthbread is like outside ?" She ask, titting her head curious, he didn't answer, he looked away from her for a minute.... She was right, he can't keep her there forever... It would be like trappings her in a cage, and he didn't want that for her.... He sighed and smile a little. "Alright... You can go and explore as far as you want... Just... Come back to me safe... Okay ?..." "You can count on me !!! Thank you uncle !!" She exclaimed, as she jump to hug him tightly, he returned the hug, feeling a little less worried for her. She had prepared her bag and swore, while she put her armor, she looked at herself at the mirror, that remembering some past memory she had with her sister...
Louna was brushing her sister's hair as she was mumbling a song their mother sing before going to the witches... Zakia was relaxing in her arms, she then looked at the mirror but directly at the reflection of her sister who had her eyes close, still mumbling the song as she was also relaxing... "Big sis' ?" She asked, as Louna opens her eyes and looked with only love at her little sister, "Yes sweety ?" "You think one day, I'll be just like you ? Having adventures, friends, and being a good queen ?" She asked innocently as she turned directly to look at her sister, she just smiled at her, as she was smiling, it only bring the young cookie joy to see her, her smile was so pretty as she said...
"Oh I just KNOW you'll be now a good, but the BEST queen this Kingdom could ever find ! And I'm sure you'll have as much as I had." She cheerfully said while hugging her tightly making the little one laught.
She sight, missing her.... "I wonder where are you Louna..." She asked, looking at the outside of her room... But she then saw a little red butterfly flying toward her, then lean on her nose, making her giggle. She then took her bag and ran to the door where her uncle was waiting her... He give her a book and a magic pen to write with it. "If you're going to explore the Earthbread, then you need this book, it'll NEVER destroyed and it will keep all your information in.... Just please be careful...." As he hugged her one last time before she went to the forest.... It was time to face a new life !
Month Passed.....
Zakia was currently writing and drawing a new kind of plant she found, it's been months since she left the kingdom, and without help or servants, it was seem difficult for a royalty like her. But actually, she was doing perfectly fine on her own, even when it seen the situation difficult or out of hand, her pure heart and bravery managed to make it all easy, when she finished her search, she heard a monster growling nearby with someone fighting against it, she didn't hesitate one second and run to the source with her sword on hand.
"This is your end." She heard someone saying and approaching more to see, she then meet a young man, next to him was probably the Beast her was fighting against it, he was a little injured from the fight, she can tell, but then they both heard some rustling near them, the man left his blade ready to fight "Who goes there ?!" "Please calm down !" An other boy came from the Bush, he had yellow hear, with beautiful yellow and Bleu eyes and he was holding a strange staff in his hands, he was with a girl with white hear who was behind him. "I'm pure vanilla cookie, I'm here with my friend to stop the monsters ! Just like you, I believe." He pointed the defeated monster, The black cookie didn't say anything, lowing his blade but still caution, the white cookie then saw some of his doug a little crumble from the fight. "Pure Vanilla Cookie, he's crumbling !..." "Are you injured ? Please let me help you." Pure Vanilla tried to reach out to heal him but seem to not wanting to "There is no need to-" Then two more cookies come from bush, two girls, one with pink hear having A shield with her and the other one with yellow hear and some sort of lance with her.
"Did I heard 'Healing ?' I could use some too !!" She exclaimed "Who are you ?" "Hollyberry Cookie is the name ! Here to take down the monsters, just like lot, I take it !" She explained, Dark Cacao said that he only meet them and they do not work together but Hollyberry cookie just joke with him and she suggested to help him since they all have the same goal here, Pure Vanilla agreed with her, she then offer some of her berry juice as a sign to celebrate this new friendships but her fellow friend stoped her, "NOT SO FAST !!!" She yelled coming next to her as she scold her "I'm EXHAUSTED and you're sharing OUR berry juice when we barely have any left ?!" She exclaimed "Oh I can help you make more berry juice if you want !!" Zakia came from where she was hiding and they all look at her surprised by her arrival "An other cookie ?.." White Lily cookie asked, as she looked at her, "I'm Sweet Bleu Chocola Cookie ! But you just can call me Zakia for short ! I just heard some noise and I was going to see if any of you needed help !" She said while smiling at them.
Thinking💭 : "Cute...!! So cute !..."
They couldn't deny of how cute she was, the first one to greet her was with no doubt Hollyberry, "Well if you knew how to make it, might show us ? It'll be pretty useful for our traveling !" Zakia agreed as more than talk, their friendship strated

(Thanks to @chibisproductions for the art !!)
"When should give a toast ! To OUR friendship !!" Hollyberry exclaimed excited, as all of her fellow cookies agreed. "Say, pretty thing, would you like to join us in our quest ?~" Golden Cheese asked to Zakia as she flirt a little to have a reaction from her, but much to her supriced, she didn't seem to get it and say that it would be fun !! That's how Sweet Bleu Chocola meet her first group of best friends, as they travel together they were willing to help her through all the place she was about to go, protecting her from danger.... And slowly felling in love~....
But somewhere far from there.... In the Silver Tree... Five cookies were in there own prison.... Blaming themselves as one cookie was layng on the middle of it.... It was a girl who had a chain on her chest related to the fork.... She look like she was a sleep... But to the Beasts... She was dead.... Until, the body start to move and her eyes start to open....!!!
"Where... Where am i...??"

Comme Les Fleurs - Chapter 10
Chapter 10: The Gala Summary: Left with no other options, Kylian must rehab his newly injured leg at a stranger’s home for the next month and she isn’t at all what he expects. Meanwhile, Aurèle has to deal with easily-irritated and sullen Kylian as she opens her home to him. Word Count: 9.2k Warnings: very rusty writing, some angst, brief out-of-character kylian Note: Yeahhh, so this was long overdue.
Aurie had forgotten what it felt to be engrossed with a man. The tightness of her chest and the feel of her throat closing up when things were at unease between them. It had been a while since her last relationship, and although she and Kylian hadn’t defined their terms yet, things were getting serious between them. The constant worry that would creep in after not hearing from him for a couple of hours was a sensation she hadn’t felt in a long time. She despised it.
It felt childish to feel like this. Aurie was too grown up to be feeling like a preteen girl with a crush. Plus, she had too many jobs to do.
“Aurie,” Camille repeats, snatching Aurie’s attention.
“What?” Aurie spins around, her fingers smudged in hot glue.
“Are you seriously still fussing with the sign? The dance starts in a couple of hours, at this point you are going to ruin it if you continue,” Camille says as she puts the final pieces together for the centerpieces. “Simi! Help me place the centerpieces on the tables please.”
The three of them, alongside Raphael, had spent the last three days setting up the gala and it was finally all coming together. The colors of summer, all splattered around the ballroom. Flowers wrapped around chairs and tables—Simi even had a flower crown. The glass centerpieces that were lanterns were filled with yellow chrysanthemums and twinkling lights inside. The pillars of the ballroom had been neatly wrapped in green leaves, colored flowers pinched into them seamlessly.
It was beautiful.
Aurie distracted herself from Kylian’s silence decorating the pillars the other night, having never left the nursing home until the next morning. Maria and Estrella had come into the ballroom seeking silence and there they found Aurie tediously working on a ladder to drape pastel colored curtains.
It had been a week since her window was ransacked. A week since having to have a few of Kylian’s security guards at her place—Bleu getting accustomed (and healing) to their presence—and a week since Aurie last saw Kylian.
She hated it.
Kylian had been in Paris, getting treatment from Martin, as he did whatever he was doing—Aurie was still out of the loop. Every time he called her it was the same: he’ll let her know when he has time to talk. But it was infuriating because he would call her when he barely had time to talk and there was so much to say but could never be uttered because Kylian was racing around. So why even call in the first place?!
She detested it.
Usually she was the one who sought to avoid serious conversations, but with the roles now being reversed, made her want to scream. Perhaps it was the lack of sleep also sneaking up onto her, but either way, nothing had been the same. Not since Kylian confessed that he loved her.
He wasn’t entirely silent. Throughout the day, he would send her messages such as:
I can’t wait to hold you.
I just want to be in your arms.
I miss you—so much, mon amour.
And it made Aurie all even more confused. What could possibly be occupying his time that he couldn’t even give her an hour of his time? Martin and Dr. Minic had given her their documents of his session with him last week. His temperament was a lot better, but there was also redacted information about a “couple” of stressors. Why was it redacted?! Martin’s notes about Kylian’s calf were nothing but positive progress: “Showing great progress under Aurie’s care, and on track for the first week of preseason. No international competitions.”
But then she read the next couple of lines: “Will be monitored in Paris for the next week (or so) under Martin’s care as he has many meetings in Paris. Will begin some light sessions with a ball and sprinting.”
How many meetings is too many? And why? For how long? There were endless questions that Aurie had but still could not get answers. Most were about Kylian but a few daunting ones were about her—did she do something wrong? Was his progress actually not on track?
For fucks sake.
The silence from Kylian and then vague answers from Martin were fucking awful. All of her phone calls to Martin were the same: “Aurie, don’t worry. He is doing really well. He has some things to do here so it’s better for me to take care of him so that he isn’t constantly traveling.”
And as if to make matters worse, Aurie’s mother showed up to her door the other day wondering why her window was blue. Aurie lied and said she broke it while playing with Bleu upstairs—but then Bleu came jogging towards them and Elina saw his still red gash on his snout. When she finally told her mom the truth, it was all the same thing: “He’s ruining you…you’ve come so far. You gave it all up for this job, imagine how much you’ll give up following that man.”
Aurie blinks away tears as her hands shake while dotting the last drop of glue. She presses down a green leaf onto the glue. The sign for the summer gala was now finally done, even if Camille said it looked fine an hour ago—it didn’t. But now, it was perfect. There were green leaves and pink flowers that swooped around the words: “Summer Garden Soirée.”
She leaves the sign to dry and gets up from her seat, seeing Simone and Camille arrange the last centerpiece together at the other end of the ballroom. She sneaks out of it quietly, her legs unbalanced like Bambi on ice.
Aurie’s phone buzzes a couple of times and she digs it out of her pocket and notices it’s a random number calling her. She declines the call, but then a previous message on her lock screen reads: “It’s Brice.”
She sighs, answering his next incoming call. He greets excitedly, “Hey! I’m out shopping for Kylian—uh what color is your dress?”
“My dress?” Aurie furrows her eyebrows.
“Mm-hmm,” he shuffles around, the sound of hangers sliding across the metal bar fills her ear. “For the gala.”
“Uh…” Aurie thinks. She knew the color of her dress but why did they need it? Kylian didn’t say he was coming to the gala. “What for?”
Brice chuckles, “Kylian did say you were stubborn. I need it to match his tie.”
“He isn’t coming tonight.”
Brice pauses on the other line, the sound of him moving hangers comes to a halt, “Oh. Uh—did he not get invited?”
“Brice,” Aurie pauses, utterly confused. She knows nothing about Kylian’s whereabouts. Brice knew more. She sighs deeply, “I mean…yeah he was invited but after everything that happened…I didn’t think he’d be coming.”
“Mm-hmm,” Brice repeats, the metal grinding on metal continues. “Well he said he was gonna be there tonight—”
“News to me,” Aurie mutters, and then closes her eyes and silently curses herself for letting her sarcastic remark slip out.
Brice sighs on the other side, “Aurie…it won’t always be like this…he just has a lot going on right now. I promise he’ll tell you everything when he can. This is the first time something like this has happened.”
Aurie stays quiet, now leaning against the hallway. The first time? What the hell is that supposed to mean? But it is still the same thing everyone has told her. “Yeah…”
“Hang in there,” he encourages.
“Mm-hmm,” she mumbles, desperately trying to make her voice strong. Everything about this situation was hard. This wasn’t the same Kylian she had been exposed to—and she was realizing that this is probably how he was before they met—his real self. A glimpse of what their future would be like.
And in all honesty, Aurie wasn’t strong enough for this. She couldn’t bear the silence, not when Kylian seemed to always want to seek her out. Was it because he was forced into her house, so naturally he reached towards her? If he had been in Paris this entire time, and she was visiting him, would things have been different? Or is it—
“Aurie,” Brice says softly, “the color of your dress?”
“Green, like an emerald green,” she answers quickly.
“Okay, thank you. I’ll talk to you later,” he sighs. “Take care, Aurie.”
Aurie hangs up the call as quickly as she can. She closes her eyes and leans her head against the wall. Her phone buzzes again and she audibly groans, but her heart sinks at seeing Kylian’s name pop up…and his smiling photo they took outside when they were chopping wood. His dimple is so deep and pronounced in it.
Her fingers instinctively graze her necklace, the gold daisy he gifted her now a source of comfort. But she couldn’t answer the phone. She couldn’t bring herself to press the ‘accept’ button, which only made her only feel worse. She sighs as it goes to voicemail, and then Kylian sends her a message almost immediately:
I miss you, call me when you can bébé
Aurie frowns at the message, forcing herself to send him one back:
I miss you too, I will
-
Aurie went home and napped for almost three hours and caught up on sleep she had missed the past couple of days. The window had been patched and fixed by now. Maple still slept in Kylian’s room, while Bleu seemed to be getting much calmer each day. He had been waking up to every slightest bit of noise—the security guards switching, animals rustling around, or even thunderstorms. He would whine or bark so aggressively that Aurie would have to get up and open her bedroom door so that he could go search for the problem.
She had showered and taken her dress and makeup to the nursing home. She got dressed with Maria and Estrella, the two of them filling the room with endless laughs making her forget all about her troubles. Everything seemed insignificant in their presence.
And they looked stunning. They wore matching puffy and ruffled dresses—purple and pink. Their jewelry was simple but elegant with just enough sparkle. They let Aurie do their makeup and it wasn’t like Aurie could do impeccable makeup but it was enough for the gala. Plus, it made them all laugh even more when she messed up.
With the gala set to start in half an hour, Aurie left their room and made her way towards the ballroom. The cake is decorated just as she imagined it, a traditional 3-tier light pink cake with a white border. A couple of decorative butterflies were centered on the top and down one side of it. The photo booth and drop were in a corner, different colors of greenery and flowers made the border. Instead of balloons, it was bunches of flowers that made the booth pop.
“Tatie Aurie!” Simone yells as she catches Aurie off guard. She didn’t hear the ballroom doors open. Simone comes crashing to Aurie’s dress, “The green! So pretty!”
Aurie smiles, watching Simone’s face light up as she looks up at her. Her little yellow poofy dress flowed all the way down to her sparking silver slippers. And that flower crown that Aurie made earlier, on top of Simone’s head proudly. “You look so pretty too, Simi.”
Simone blushes with a smile, “Thank you, I brought you a surprise—look!”
Aurie had been so caught up with Simone that she didn’t even notice someone else walked in behind her. She turns towards the door, and Kylian is standing there in a black tuxedo with a matching green bow tie. He wears a sloppy but nervous grin once Aurie sees him. His hands fidget with the buttons before he clasps them tightly together.
Aurie’s breath hitches, not at all anticipating to see him here. Sure, Brice had let her know, but she didn’t believe him. It was almost like she was getting used to Kylian's absence that she was no longer expecting him to show up when she searched for him. But here he was, standing at the entrance, his eyes twinkling and growing fonder with each passing second.
“I’m going to go find my mommy now,” Simone whispers, making Aurie look down at her with a hesitant but then genuine smile. Simone trots off towards Kylian, his eyes soft as he watches her skip past him and then out the door. They watch her both in silence until the door shuts.
Kylian struts towards Aurie in a few, long strides, kissing her temple and then embracing her firmly. His head fits right into her shoulder as he leans down, a shaky sigh escaping his lips. Aurie’s arms wrap around his back tightly, her head nuzzled into his chest and for the moment she doesn’t even care if makeup transfers onto his tux.
God, she had missed him so much. There was no denying it. She missed his scent, his strong and protective arms.
“I’m sorry,” he whispers. She really didn’t want to cry right now but she can’t help it. It felt like she had been holding it all in and now she was finally able to release them. All the unanswered questions, the lack of sleep, the stress—it was all coming out at the wrong time.
Kylian hugs her tighter, his hands wrapping tightly on her lower back. “I know,” he repeats.
“Kylian,” she croaks.
He cradles the back of her head with his hand, holding her close to him. “I’m sorry, Aurèle.”
“Stop apologizing,” she mumbles, her voice trembling as she sniffles. “I’ve ruined my makeup.”
He chuckles softly, “We can fix it.”
“And your tux.”
“It’s okay,” he murmurs. He closes his eyes softly. He hated seeing her like this and if his week wasn’t so fucking hectic, he wouldn’t have made her feel like this. He kisses her temple and leaves his lips pressed up against it. “I’m sorry, mon amour.”
“Just tell me what’s going on,” her voice trembles as she speaks. Kylian’s heart sinks.
He pulls his head away from her slowly, far enough to see her confused and hurt eyes. Her makeup messed up from her tears. He frowns, “Can we go somewhere more private?”
“Just tell me,” she pleads—demands.
Kylian purses his lips, glancing around at the ballroom. It was so beautiful that he momentarily got distracted with it, and he looked at all the decorations that he knew she had been working hard on. His fingers press into her lower back more firmly.
“It’s only us in here,” she waves around. He would have chuckled at her sassiness any other time but he can’t seem to find the courage to do so now.
He looks back at her, searching her eyes and his knees buckle at the sight. They’re patient, full of adoration—but hurt. Gleaming with tears of confusion, anger, and exhaustion. He sighs, “I’m moving to Madrid. It was finalized this week.”
The silence that follows is deafening. Her eyebrows raise softly and that is all the emotion she expressed. She isn’t confused or hurt…she’s…unreadable. He can’t decipher her look.
“Oh,” she says.
Kylian furrows his eyebrows, waiting for her to continue, but she never does.
A part of Aurie feels relieved, that his silence was warranted. It was a big deal. It was a huge deal. This silence was possibly just a single occurrence and most likely wouldn’t happen again. All the cryptic messages from him, Martin, Dr. Minic, and Brice—they all made sense. It all made sense. Sure, they still have much to say, but with maybe fifteen minutes until the doors opened, they couldn’t hash out everything right here.
“Okay,” she says, blowing a relieved sigh.
“Okay?”
“You want this right?”
He nods slowly, confused, “Yeah…” His hands let go of her waist and rested on his own hips. “That’s it?”
“Well we certainly can’t talk about this right now,” Aurie says. “Congratulations though, Kylian. For going to Real Madrid, I hear that’s a great team.”
Kylian chuckles, still slightly confused, “You’re being weird, but thank you.”
Aurie smiles, her hand capturing his palm as she leads him out of the ballroom. With their hands intertwined, they walk to the front of the nursing home to retrieve Aurie’s makeup bag. As they enter one of the restrooms, she locks the door.
“I’m happy for you, Kylian,” she says truthfully, “I kind of remember the whole thing about you and Madrid some years ago.” They share a small laugh. “So I’m glad it worked out.”
“But?”
“No buts.”
Aurie stands in front of the mirror and wipes her face with a makeup towel as Kylian comes behind her and slides his hands around her waist. His frontside bumps into her backside and he kisses her neck, smiling bashfully at her, “I’ve wanted to tell you for so long but I couldn’t—and still can’t—so you don’t know anything. It’s a secret.”
Aurie chuckles as she reapplies her makeup. She doesn’t put too much on this time because she knows the night might call for more tears.
“I’ve missed you so much,” he sighs heavily against her shoulder, his eyes peering up at hers in the mirror as he tucks his head into her neck. His lips graze her skin tenderly, pecking the skin before he fully rests his chin against her shoulder. His arms bring her into an actual embrace from behind. Her body flushes against his and they both share a sigh. Full of longing, more unspoken words, but for now, they are soaking in each other’s breath as if they need it to survive.
“I’m sorry for hurting you.”
“I know,” she whispers. “I know you didn’t mean it. I’ve missed you too.”
“If I could’ve handled that situation any better, I would’ve, chérie. I would’ve flown you with me to Madrid.”
“You went to Madrid?” she furrowed her eyebrows, a small chuckle rising out of her.
His knees buckle at the feel of her laugh against him, “Yeah.” He sighs softly. “I did, to discuss further with Florentino Pérez.”
“That is so…cool,” Aurie says, amazed. He laughs when he sees her eyes full of wonder in the mirror. “You can just get on a plane and fly.”
Kylian’s chest rumbles again with another laugh, “Why is that? Do you want to get a plane and just go away too?”
Aurie shrugs. After the week from hell she’s had, she wouldn’t mind dropping it off and forgetting all about her troubles to rest at some unknown location. Even if her main trouble was staring right back at her, it would be better than the shitty week she endured.
Kylian notices the slight drop in Aurie’s eyes and squeezes her hips firmly again. He brings his head up to kiss her cheek, languidly and chaste. “I’m really sorry, Aurèle. I’ve felt awful ever since I left that day. Had I known I wasn't going to see you for a week, I would’ve held you a little tighter that night and told you right then and there but it just happened.”
Aurie blinks away the tears, “Kylian, stop talking please. We can talk about all of this later okay? I promise. I just can’t right now—I know you didn’t mean it.”
Kylian nods slowly as he stands up straighter. His hands remain on her waist and the fleeting thought of her avoidance invades his mind. “Don’t avoid this, Aurie.”
She turns around to face him, the makeup brush stops mid-motion. “I’m not. The gala is about to start in five minutes.”
“I know, but,” he sighs, “I don’t want us to go long without talking.”
“We aren’t,” she promises again. Her voice is unwavering as she says it and he hates that he came at a bad time. Hates that his flight was delayed because if he had come the original time, they would’ve had an hour to catch up and resolve their issues.
Aurie senses the doubt on Kylian’s features and so she soothes her hand across his freshly-shaved jaw, “I’m not running away from this, Kylian.”
“Okay,” he whispers softly. He leans in to kiss the space between her brows and then kisses her lips softly.
She chuckles, “I’m almost done here.”
Kylian instinctively grins as he lets her turn around to finish her makeup. He glances at himself in the mirror to make sure his tux still appeared fine, and there was a small spot of makeup that had rubbed off from Aurie but it was unnoticeable. He adjusts his bowtie and then slips his hand onto Aurie’s back. He wants to steal every moment of her that he can, especially after experiencing how his life would be without her.
A chill runs down Kylian’s back at the possibility. The sudden realization that Aurie probably wouldn’t be coming with him to Madrid and his face stills. His eyes land on her daisy necklace as he thinks—horrifically—his life without her presence now. He’s gotten so used to her the past month that the one week away from her was enough to make him groan into the pillows at night and stare aimlessly into every empty seat. A week that felt so long—
Aurie spins around, snapping Kylian out of his thoughts, and his hand rests now against her hip.
“Let’s go,” she beams and clasps her hands with his. He swallows his emotions down harshly as he follows her. He masks his face quickly once he sees Camille and Simone, Raphael tailing the two of them.
Across the corridor, a couple of guests and their family members begin to trickle into the ballroom. Aurie leaps out of Kylian’s hand and he lets her go do her job, wistfully smiling from across the corridor. Simone chases after her happily, giggling cheerfully. Camille steals a glance at Kylian and notes how content he looks.
-
The gala proceeds as planned; Aurie camps out at the photodrop section because all the residents want a photo with her. She doesn’t mind it at all. Kylian shares his fair share of taking photos and autographs as well, even dancing with many residents who were left unimpressed with his hesitant dancing skills but they let him lead anyway. Kylian’s politeness and charm woo the residents’ families.
Kylian steals a couple of photos with Aurie and Simone at the photo booth, making silly faces with the both of them. Simone wraps her arms around both him and Aurie as he holds her up.
The dinner portion of the gala goes smoothly as planned, there is even food leftover for seconds. Kylian and Aurie sit together with Camille, Raphael, and Simi. But as the hostess Aurie is, she can barely eat or sit down. Her mind is on too many different things—the DJ, the small mishap with a bouquet on the photodrop getting loose, and making sure that everyone actually gets a plate of food. Even with the help of volunteers from the local university and staff working to make sure the event goes smoothly, Aurie has to be in the middle of it to confirm everything is good. Eventually, she sits back down at the table and Kylian encourages her to eat but her bites are small.
Later on, he dances with her to two songs—he takes count because he stepped on her heels a couple of times and he felt bad. Aurie only encouraged him though, never chastising him or getting upset. The sound of the music drowned out that he could only hear her giggles in his ear and the feel of her hands wrapped around his neck.
Even with Aurie and him separated for most of the night, it didn’t stop him from constantly stealing glances of her from across the room. His eyes would focus on anything and everything when he looked her way, such as her necklace or her smile that never failed to make his knees buckle.
Now, as Aurie takes a breather outside in the corridor of the gala, she runs into her two favorite troublemakers, Maria and Estrella.
“What are you two doing out here?” she announces with a smile, sipping on her cup of water. The two women startle and then turn around in their walkers. Their faces trying to recover after being caught red handed. Aurie’s smirk only grows. “What is it?”
Estrella laughs, her pink gown sparkling against the corridor’s lights, “We were just having a break.”
“Really?”
Maria nods, “Estrella is escaping Claude. He won’t stop talking!”
The three of them share a laugh. Aurie walks closer to them and leans against the wall, resting her head on it with a somber smile.
“What’s the matter, Aurèle?” Maria inquires, her face immediately etching with concern. Estrella follows suit and steps closer gingerly.
“Nothing,” Aurie smiles softly. “I am just thinking…tonight has gone better than I expected. Everyone looks like they are having a good time.”
“Well of course, you are always the best planner,” Maria says. “Do you remember when you organized that dinner and we ran out of sides? Many of the residents were upset and it was your first week here, but you quickly found a solution and it was perfect.”
Aurie smiles again at the memory, “Yeah, I remember.”
“Plus, Simi and the other kids make us feel young,” Estrella adds. “And that boy of yours, Kylian. He is a charmer—can work on his dancing skills though.”
Aurie snorts, “He tries.”
Estrella gives her another look, “What’s really bothering you?”
Aurie deeply exhales. “What do you guys think about Kylian?”
“He really loves you, darling,” Maria smiles. “I remember my love like that. It’s beautiful to witness.”
“I know,” Aurie says truthfully. It scares her that she knows exactly what Kylian’s love entails and how deeply it shows. Even with their week apart and their short time together, it was difficult for it all to be a cruel ruse. “But the famous part of him…the side of him that is going to Madrid. With crazy fans…harsh critics. A huge life. That side of him?”
Maria and Estrella share a look with each other. The mischievous mood of the corridor had quickly turned pensive. The ballroom’s door suddenly opens up and the three of them turn around quickly. It is just another resident making their way to the restroom. Maria says, “Do you want to go out in the garden to talk more?”
“Sure,” Aurie says softly, walking in between the two women. “You guys are great.”
Estrella chuckles, “We know you have been working hard for this. So let’s go outside so you can get a breather.”
Aurie snickers although her heart feels heavy. If she were to move to Madrid, she would miss this. She would leave this life behind. It would mean leaving the nursing home that her mother worked so hard on shaming her for working there. The coworkers and friends at the hospital and nursing home that she has made along the way, she would leave them too. Two places that drew her back to her real self, especially the home. Without this place, she would still be a physio for PSG, feeling miserable because keeping up with the workload was too much for her. Every day she felt like she was drowning. She never felt like she was underwater here, even when her first week had been so rocky and the residents were reluctant to trust her.
She memorizes the cream-colored painted walls and white tiles as they lead up to a set of doors. The night sky is in full effect, with glittering stars and a crescent moon. She smiles as she sits down. Maria and Estrella gingerly set their walkers aside and sit down on the bench on either side of her.
“Do you love him?” Maria asks.
Aurie simpers, “Yeah.” She looks at Maria, “I do…it would just be so fast. I barely met the man almost a month and some weeks ago.”
Maria chuckles, “I married my husband after three weeks of knowing him. We were married until he passed, for 57 years.”
Aurie bursts into a small laugh, “Three weeks?! That is too fast.”
“You love him though?”
“Yes, but I wouldn’t be able to do that.”
“Would you be able to uproot your life to live with him at least?” Estrella asks. “If he really is going to Madrid like the rumors say…would you be able to do that? To try?”
Aurie freezes momentarily. Sure she was just thinking about the possibility but she hadn’t come up with an answer. It was too soon to say.
“I don’t know,” Aurie says. “I’ve left here many times and still always come back.”
“Can you imagine a life in Madrid at least?” Estrella proposes. Her hand touches where Aurie’s knee would be over her dress.
Aurie stills. Images of her in the Santiago Bernabéu appear and while the two of them seem happy, it feels empty to imagine her life without the nursing home.
Maria says, “You need to go, Aurie. If it doesn’t work out, you will always have here. You have so much life and love to give. If you don’t go for him, go for yourself. Explore Madrid. Pretend it’s a vacation if you will.”
Aurie chuckles softly, “That is absurd, Maria. This is my home.”
“You can always visit home, Aurèle,” Estrella sighs. “You don’t have to live with him immediately…like a trial run.”
Aurie snorts, “You guys, do you hear yourselves? What will happen here while I’m gone on this ‘vacation’ and ‘trial run?’” Aurie makes quotation marks with her fingers. “To uproot my entire life for a man…I mean? It sounds a little pathetic.”
For the first time in a long time, Aurie’s mother, Elina, sneaks into her head again. That chasing and following Kylian would ruin her. Maybe Elina was right. Maybe she was seeing Kylian’s plan all along.
“Aurèle,” Estrella snaps her fingers in front of her face. “It’s not pathetic, you know why? Because you are able to afford it. You are able to afford to try it out. You have time to see if it works. You have the skill and power to find a job over there—although you wouldn’t need money with that man’s kind of pockets.”
Maria interrupts with a chuckle and Aurie smiles sadly.
“And what have you done when it hasn’t worked?” Estrella asks rhetorically. “You’ve picked yourself up and kept going. Tenías ganas. You did that, no one else.”
Aurie feels the few tears that slip out and once they start, she can’t stop them. Tears stream down her face as she tries to wipe them away. The girls pull her into a side hug and lay their heads down onto her shoulders which only makes her cry harder.
“What about you two?” she asks with a wobbly voice.
“We will be fine,” Maria says. “Do not worry about us. You will always have us.”
“Phones work too,” Estrella adds and it makes the other two laugh.
“Plus,” Maria continues, “you can always visit us. Knowing you, you would probably come every two weeks.”
Aurie laughs as she wipes the tears, feeling a little better. She could always visit. Kylian had a jet that he could fly anywhere with and even if she couldn’t use that because let’s be honest, she wouldn’t want to, she could find a commercial flight.
“We will miss you certainly,” Estrella says, “but you won’t really be gone. There will always be a piece of you here.”
Aurie smiles fondly, wrapping her arms around the two bestfriends, “If I do end up leaving, I am going to miss you both so much.”
“‘If?’” Maria and Estrella shriek.
“We didn’t do all this crying for nothing!” Estrella chastises. “I will book your flight tonight.”
Aurie laughs loudly, “No, no, I am kidding. But seriously, Kylian hasn’t asked me to move anywhere, and if he does, it will still be my decision in the end.”
They nod understandably. “Yeah-mmkay.”
Aurie snickers, “I’m glad it took the possibility of me leaving for you two to show your true colors. Who knew you two loved me so much.”
“Oh Aurie—”
“You are full of jokes today—”
Aurie laughs again and unwraps her arms around them, “Thank you for this. I needed to get more tears out and this was perfect.”
“Of course, princesa,” Estrella smiles. “Always breaks our hearts to see you sad.”
“I know,” Aurie wipes her face more. “I am just emotional.”
Maria agrees and helps clean Aurie’s makeup with a tissue from her small purse, “Why even put makeup on if you will cry it off?”
“I know, I know,” Aurie repeats, enjoying getting pampered by her. They never let her look like a fool. Something they kept true since when Aurie first met them, and they let Aurie know her hair was all kinds of messed up from the bad weather.
-
The three of them make it back to the gala without a batted eye in their direction, seamlessly blending into the crowd. Kylian was too engrossed in conversation with a collection of teenage boys that were related to the residents. He was sitting in a chair, relaxed with his legs open and his arms resting against the empty seat next to him. His eyes were in deep concentration as he gave the boys advice on how to improve their football and mental skills.
Aurie notices him immediately and lets him continue the conversation. She mingles around with the other guests and makes sure all the refreshments are stocked. Raphael and Simone are sitting down at the table. Simone’s head is resting against her father’s shoulder as he holds her in his lap. Raphael now wears the flower crown, Simone most likely putting it on him. Aurie grabs two lemonades and heads in that direction.
Raphael gives her a kind smile, “Hey.”
“Hey,” Aurie smiles, gently tapping Simone’s back. Her hair is disheveled and her shoes scraped up. She peers up to look at her and gives her a tired smile. “Tired, Simi?”
Simone nods sleepily, “I ran too much with the other kids.”
“Aww,” Aurie chuckles, glancing back at Raphael.
“She’ll sleep well tonight.”
“She will,” Aurie agrees. “Where’s Camille?”
Raphael looks in the direction he last saw her, “Restroom, although I think she was trying to find you. Where did you go anyway?”
“To the garden with Maria and Estrella.”
“Ah,” he tsks, motioning to the cup of lemonade. Aurie nods and pushes it towards him for him to sip. Simone’s eyes blink heavily.
The two of them chat longer briefly until Aurie gets up to mingle with more guests. And as she crosses an empty table, Kylian grabs her forearm gently, “Sit.”
“Sit?” she looks up at him with a surprised smile. “Hello to you too, princess.”
Kylian rolls his eyes, feigning to be flustered, “You gotta eat something because I know you will want to help tearing all of this down.” He pulls a chair open with his foot and motions her down. He slides the plate of food in front of her. Aurie chuckles as she sits down in the propped seat. As Kylian sits down beside her, he kisses her cheek.
Aurie does just that. She eats while Kylian talks about his conversation with the teenage boys and the guests.
“You owe many people dances,” he mentions. “The ladies weren’t happy with my skills…and the men kept coming up to ask me if it was okay to dance with ‘my woman’ and I said yes.” Kylian grins cheekily.
“Why would you say that?” Aurie chuckles, not upset at all, just endeared from his reaction.
Kylian shrugs, “I liked the sound of them calling you my girlfriend, my girl, or my lady as some of them said.”
Aurie cringes, feeling older with the formality. “‘Lady?’”
Kylian chuckles and sits up to kiss her cheek, his arm resting around her seat, “My lady. You forgot a word, mon amour.”
Aurie’s cheeks warm at Kylian’s excited rant, his hands jesting around in the air. His continuous rambling should be annoying but it’s like music to her eyes. She hadn’t heard his voice the past week and hearing it all once again, it made her content. Such a simple sound, and it was all hers. Right here in front of her.
As she finishes her food, she clasps her hands with his underneath the table on her knee. He smiles when he feels it, pulling her empty plate off to the side so that he can lean against the table with his elbow propped up. His smile falters, “You…took off your makeup? Or some of it?”
Aurie’s smile wavers. “Do you have to notice everything?” Always so attentive.
“What was it?”
“I cried some more outside with Maria and Estrella.”
“Ah,” he frowns. His thumb strokes Aurie’s hand. “Do you want to talk about it?”
“Not yet.”
Kylian’s hand squeezes hers in a sign of reassurance. The pads of his fingertips bristle over her nails. “Okay.”
-
FIVE HOURS BEFORE
Kylian could practically hear the blood pumping through heart as the rain storm raged through Madrid. His palms were sweaty as he looked out the plane’s window. His flight was already set to be delayed an hour now and he was running out of time to find a tuxedo.
“Relax, I can go to the store real quick,” Brice suggested, watching Kylian’s face grow anxious the longer they sat on the tarmac. His bouncing knee was bound to burn a hole through the plane’s floor.
Kylian shook his head. “We’re gonna be too late.”
“No we aren’t. The dance will probably be three hours long so that gives us more time.”
“I need to talk to her beforehand, I can’t just walk up in there,” Kylian groaned, rubbing his face with his face. “She’ll be upset. And most of all, she deserves an explanation for my silence.”
Brice exhaled softly, staring across the small space at his best friend. “She’ll understand. She’s…sensible.”
Kylian snorted. “Too sensible. She probably wouldn’t want to cause a scene.”
“Would you though?” Brice questioned and Kylian quieted down as he opened his eyes. He wouldn’t. That wasn’t the time nor place to talk about why he’s been gone. He should’ve never been absent in the first place. But one missed phone call after the other and it began to get pathetic to continue apologizing for it. He could tell she felt the shift as well—who wouldn’t—through her short responses.
And god did he miss her. He hated being away from her for so long without a proper goodbye.
Brice shuffled up to his feet, grabbing his bag and slinging it over his shoulder. “You stay here, I’m gonna find you a tuxedo.”
Kylian sighed, his head rolling as he watched him walk by. “And if the plane takes off?”
“It won’t, but if it does, I’ll just have it transferred to a store in Paris and someone will give it to you there when you land,” Brice reassured. “Just relax. It won’t bring you any help if you see Aurie and you feel anxious.”
Kylian nodded wordlessly, watching Brice exit the plane swiftly and then jog into a black van. He was beginning to accept that they wouldn’t have much time to talk when he did arrive before the gala began. With the minimum two hour flight and hour drive out of Paris, it would be a miracle if he even had a moment to share with Aurie.
Screw it, he thought.
Bouncing up from his seat he raced out of the flight and caught up to the van, knocking on the dew-plastered window before it drove off. Brice opened the door confused. “What?”
“Move over,” Kylian said, his eyebrows pinching as he felt droplets land on him.
Brice slid over to the other seat beside him without saying a word. Kylian couldn’t stand being on a plane alone with nothing to distract him for who knows how long.
Mac and Paul sat quietly in the front seat and they drove them to a Dior store. It was unusual for Kylian to not have a tuxedo ready on hand for an event like this but truthfully, all of his old tuxedos were too fancy for the occasion. He could’ve gone with a suit, but he wanted to be a bit more dressed up for Aurie.
And while his measurements were already on hand with Brice—and Dior—he still needed to pick it up and the downpour was making it difficult for anyone to drive to the airport to drop it off in time.
Although it seemed like they had all the damn time in the world now.
Kylian cursed softly as the rain got heavier once they entered the bustling streets of Madrid. The rain on the window blurred everything in his view.
Once the van halted, Brice and Kylian rushed out with their heads ducked. Paul was right on their side, attempting to hold out an umbrella for them but they rushed inside too fast that it was no use.
“What’s the color of her dress?” Brice asked.
“Green,” Kylian said, eyeing the racks of the suits.
“There’s hundreds of shades of green, Ky, what kind of green?”
Kylian paused at the associate coming up to him with the tuxedo in tow. Kylian grabbed it politely and held it over the back of shoulder before he glanced at Brice.
He had no idea what color green it was. He didn’t think to ask, barely even finding it out that it was green in general—was it even green? The more he thought of it, the more he doubted.
Brice’s face dropped. “You forgot?”
Kylian rubbed his face in despair. He was going to lose it. He was so tired, desperately needing sleep because the past couple of days he rarely got any. And not being able to talk to Aurie drained him.
He pursed his lips, the hand gripping onto the hanger of the tuxedo becoming like a lifeline.
Brice pulled his phone out of his pocket, promptly tapping along it and then holding it up his ear. He stood close to Kylian and scooted the other suits on the rack to calm himself down. They were both getting frustrated.
Brice tsks to himself when the call declines, immediately tapping the contact again and sending them a text. Kylian furrowed his eyebrows, trying to lean in closer to make out who the other person was.
He calls them again and masks his annoyance with enthusiasm. “Hey! I'm out shopping for Kylian—uh what color is your dress?”
Kylian’s eyes bulged as he overheard his words, reaching out for Brice’s phone. Pivoting his body, Brice bumped into the racks again and tried to straighten out the hangers. He successfully shielded his phone from Kylian.
“My dress?” Kylian overheard, stilling at her voice.
“Mm-hmm,” Brice nods with a scowl in Kylian’s direction. Fixing the hangers, he glared at Kylian. “For the gala.”
“Uh…” Aurie thought. Kylian’s hands paused on Brice’s forearm. “What for?”
Kylian can’t tell if the noise that comes out of Brice is a snort or a chuckle. “Kylian did say you were stubborn. I need it to match his tie.”
“He isn't coming tonight,” she responded. They halted in their fussing, Kylian stared at Brice in shock, his lips parting softly.
“Oh,” Brice said. Kylian urged him to continue the conversation with the flick of his hand. “Uh—did he not get invited?”
“Brice,” Aurie started and her tone stabbed Kylian right into his chest. He grimaced, rubbing the spot, she sounded upset and confused. “I mean…yeah he was invited but after everything that happened…I didn't think he'd be coming.”
Kylian sighed, rubbing his head. God he was going to get a headache, he could feel it. All of this miscommunication was stupid and unnecessary. Why did he have to keep it a secret anyway?
“Mm-hmm,” Brice mumbled, sliding the hangers to grab Kylian’s attention. He knew his best friend was starting to feel discouraged about the whole ordeal. “Well he said he was gonna be there tonight—”
“News to me.”
Kylian felt gutted hearing her remark and he shook his head quickly. Brice shouldn’t make any more promises to her because with the way this weather was, who knew if he was actually going to make it?! Despite the tightness in his chest, he motioned for Brice to end the phone call. He’ll buy every shade of green he has to.
Brice sighed, watching Kylian’s shoulders deflate and ignoring his plea. “Aurie…it won't always be like this…he just has a lot going on right now. I promise he'll tell you everything when he can. This is the first time something like this has happened.”
Kylian groaned, closing his eyes. It took a while for Aurie to respond and when she did, her voice sounded so small that Kylian could barely hear it. “Yeah…”
“Hang in there,” Brice encouraged, flickering his eyes towards Kylian.
Another agonizing moment goes by while Kylian eyes the green ties and bow ties. Maybe he could sneak in to get a look at her dress and then fix the tie onto himself in the parking lot. Hell, did he even really need a bow tie at this point?
“Aurie,” Brice said softly, getting Kylian’s attention. “The color of your dress?”
“Green, like an emerald green,” she answered quickly.
Of course it was, like the color of most of her plants. He should’ve known that.
“Okay, thank you. I'll talk to you later,” Brice sighed. “Take care, Aurie.”
Once he ended the call, Kylian looked at him remorsefully.
“Yeah, she’s upset,” Brice said curtly.
Kylian huffed, exiting the store with his tuxedo, leaving Brice to pick out a bow tie. He needed to call Aurie.
Once in the car, Paul shut the door behind him while he found Aurie’s contact quickly—it being his most recent—and called her. With each hum of the ringtone, his knee bounced and shook the car. The tuxedo was loosely draped across the seat and at this point he didn’t care if it got wrinkled.
“C’mon, Aurie,” he muttered.
But the call didn’t go through. It went to her voicemail, causing him to groan loudly.
He hesitated to call again. She was upset, no doubt about it. Hurt most likely.
He sighed, sending her a text instead:
I miss you, call me when you can bébé
He watched as the message was read and then saw her type a message back. He held his breath, hoping that the typing bubbles wouldn’t disappear.
I miss you too, I will
He frowned and shut his phone off. He didn’t have time to think about the message because Brice came in, tossing the green bow tie and receipt towards Kylian’s lap.
“Why are you upset?” Kylian asked, confused, although there was a slight irritation in his tone.
“Because, whatever is going on between you could’ve been avoided,” Brice exhaled sharply and clicked his seatbelt after he moved Kylian’s tuxedo.
“I know, but it’s been a hectic week, I couldn’t tell her,” Kylian defended himself.
“Yeah but saying something—anything, really—is better than not saying anything at all. I mean come on, Kylian, how much do you actually like her to be treating her like this?”
Kylian gaped but Brice shook his head.
“No,” Brice grumbled. “She’s perfect for you. I don’t get why you’re acting like a child.”
“I want to tell her but it has to be in person. I can’t even tell anyone yet.”
“But Aurie is different,” Brice sighed. “She isn’t just ‘anyone’ right? Or so I thought.”
Kylian pursed his lips. No, Aurie wasn’t just someone. She was someone he cared about, deeply and quickly, but still struggled to show it. Even with the tumultuous week he went through this week, he should’ve spared more time for her.
His trip to Madrid was abrupt and quickly planned by his mother and Florentino Pérez. One day he was in front of Dr. Minic and Martin for another mental evaluation and rehab, and the next day he was in Madrid getting tests done on his physical fitness.
It all went too fast.
Way too fast for Kylian to catch his breath and tell Aurie.
“I know,” Kylian sighed.
Brice eyed him, his disapproval slowly dissipating when he saw how stressed Kylian was. His eyes stared blankly at the back of the driver’s seat. Brice exhaled, “I know this is the first time something like this happened, the timing of everything and all, and you’re handling a lot of stuff at once, but don’t push her away and expect her to welcome you with open arms. You screwed up—sure—but Aurie is reasonable, she’ll understand if you just tell her the truth.”
Kylian nodded, digesting Brice’s words as he continued staring ahead with a dull gaze.
In the midst of Kylian droning his thoughts away, they return to the airport and climb up the jet’s stairs. The rain stopped and they took off about half an hour later.
Two hours later, Kylian was jolted awake in his seat by Brice.
“Come on,” he motioned, holding both his and Kylian’s bag on his shoulders. Kylian stood up and grabbed his bag from him and then tuxedo bag.
“What time is it?”
Brice tilted his head, his lips tight, “You have maybe an hour and a half. Probably just thirty minutes by the time we get to the gala.”
“Where’s your suit?” Kylian realized, barely noticing that Brice only had the suit he took to Madrid somewhere in his bag.
“I’m not going, but you are,” Brice reassured him as they climbed into the car. “However, you do have to get ready in the car.”
Kylian sighed. This wasn’t his first time getting ready in a car and most likely wouldn’t be his last. Each time he hated it, the height was entirely too small to maneuver around in there.
He would be fine without Brice at the gala but it would’ve been nice to have alongside him to calm him down.
Kylian undressed and dressed fast in the back seat, adjusting his bow tie over and over again. Finally when they arrived at the nursing home, Kylian was able to adjust his tuxedo better outside of the car and then quickly walk in to find Aurie.
Inside, he was met with the familiar walls he would walk through for Aurie’s bingo sessions with the residents. Turning the corner, he ran into Simone.
“Kee-lan!” she cheesed and pulled him into a hug. Her arms barely reached around his thighs as he bent down properly to give her a hug.
“Hey,” he beamed, adjusting the flower crown on her head. “What are you doing here alone?”
“I’m not alone,” she replied, pointing a nimble finger at a door that was opening. Camille and Raphael walked out of a small room in their matching purple dress and suit respectively.
They smiled at Kylian, greeting him warmly before Simone looked up at him, her eyes glimmering with curiosity. “You want to see Tatie Aurie?”
Kylian chuckled, his cheeks flushing with heat, “Yeah.”
“Okay, follow me,” she smiled and led him to the ballroom doors. “I haven’t seen her yet too.”
Kylian’s hands shook as he adjusted the buttons of his tux. Simone was doing good at distracting him but once they stopped at the door, he gulped.
“In here,” Simon paused and pointed at the doorknob. Her small hand reached out towards the handle and pulled it down, opening the door wide enough for the both of them to fit. He found Aurie before Simone could. His breath caught in his throat as he took in her stunning dress and pure beauty. His hands stopped trembling as he watched her adjust a centerpiece. His damn knees wanted to buckle.
Simone took off running and screamed, “Tatie Aurie!”
Kylian’s thoughts blurred as he watched them hug, his mind racing with what he should say first and what he could save for later. All his thoughts jumbled together in her presence that they didn't quiet down until her eyes landed on his.
-
PRESENT
Kylian watches blissfully as Aurie dances with the guests he promised would get time with her. She moves effortlessly on the floor, her steps light and her smile unwavering, as if she’s free from all worries. The sight warms Kylian’s heart.
Simone rests peacefully against his shoulder. Kylian had suggested Raphael switch off holding her so Raphael and Camille could share a dance, and he was grateful that Simone occupied his arms, providing an excuse to avoid the dance floor.
Time passes slowly, but Kylian doesn’t mind it. He’d rather soak in the gala that Aurie had been perfecting for weeks now. Every few minutes, her eyes find him with a radiant smile, and his fingers itch to reach out and touch her.
As the song changes, Camille approaches Kylian from behind, startling him as she appears beside him.
She chuckles, “Sorry, here I’ll take Simi.”
“Are you sure?” he asks. Camille’s hair is now frizzy, her skin glimmers with a small layer of sweat.
She nods. “Rafa and I danced too hard and now we need a breather.”
Kylian chuckles, carefully standing up and passing a sleeping Simone to her mother. Her small frame cuddles into Camille’s chest as Kylian pulls the seat out for her to sit in.
“Thank you,” Camille smiles. Kylian shimmies off his tuxedo jacket and drapes it over a chair nearby. He loosens the cuffs of his sleeves and heads toward a glowing Aurie.
As she notices him, her eyes light up with a sparkling smile, and he laughs nervously. She thanks her previous partner for the dance and wraps her arms around Kylian’s neck when they meet.
He kisses her nose as his hands settle on her waist. “Having fun?”
“Lots,” she smiles. She pecks his lips and then sways him to the slow rhythm of the song. Her fingers play with the collar of his white dress shirt. “You look really handsome.”
“Thank you,” he simpers. “You look stunning. I haven’t been able to take my eyes off of you all night.”
Aurie’s cheeks warm, and then her smile dips. Her hands tighten around his neck and he raises an eyebrow.
“What?” he whispers.
“I want to meet your family,” she admits. “I know I don’t have the best track record of families and mine is small, but…I want to meet yours. Soon. Plan it on my calendar and everything.”
Kylian's smile widens. “Okay. How about in two days?”
“Deal.”
Aurie leans in to kiss him, the kiss chaste and delicate, without an urgency but a promise. Kylian has rarely ever invited a girl to meet his parents, let alone the rest of the family. And Aurie, always reluctant to meet parents not just because of her time working in pediatrics, but of what this particular set of parents meant.
Of what it could mean for the future.
-------
Note: So sorry for the longest delay I’ve ever had, was on my last year of uni and yeah…life happened. Experienced many joys and lows over the last bouts of months, met a bunch of great people, stepped out of my comfort zone, and studied hard while dabbling in many outings. Not only that but I felt inspired to write for a couple of different players and scenarios and kept feeling stuck on this particular story, but I’m starting to find my groove back. Hopefully if all goes well, this story will at least have one more chapter (the epilogue) or two. Thank you for everyone who stuck by this story. It’s been fun closing the journey of Aurie and Kylian and I can’t wait to finish it soon, not only for you but for me. (:

[Question for Mod]
What inherently inspired y'all to make to Richard in the first place?
I have inspirations from many sources. I must give credit to @ghost-bleus / @leonard-the-great for having such a unique character, albeit maybe unusual. It was so interesting, so I decided to ask myself: "What if we have a bunch of flies as a character? A hivemind, maybe.."
And that was where I got Richard.
Now, this was supposed to actually be a joke character, believe it or not! I didn't think of Richard too much when I first made him, but when I took more time to develop him — a.k.a spend a few minutes thinking more about the concept — I decided to go with Richard being somewhat related or associated with the beast!
Now, I was well aware that the beast technically doesn't have a form — infact, I was well aware that it is metaphorical. Something physically not real — but I was intrigued with the concept of "what if it is?"
And here we are, talking about Richard. I was pretty sure no one was interested in him, especially now that OC blogs are becoming uncommon. Hopefully we could balance both canon and OC content one day and bring it back again, but I am not complaining eitherway.
Inspirations come a long way. I myself, despite being unpopular managed to somewhat cause people to know Richard. I don't know how, but it works eitherway.
Speaking of inspirations, I am pretty sure that people would be inspired somewhat one way or another. There are certain blogs already using ciphers, which is actually insane on its own. I do hope people keep using their creativity to make more things like this! 😄
Now, enough talking. If you are still interested in more questions, ask me! I am still open. (I am so sorry if I am acting corny, though. Writing all of this in such a formal manner is making me cringe.)

Summer 1890
The couple were giddy with excitement as they stepped foot off the train and finally in Brindleton, Massachusetts. Once they reached Boston, there was a slight mix up due to misreading the train tickets. Their tickets were for May and not April. So they stayed at a hotel near the train station for a month. During that month, Toulouse managed to purchase some apple and lemon seeds to start their orchard as well as some parsley and garlic seeds to put by their front door. It wouldn't do to have bad luck in their new home. He also bought a few small mirrors for the same reason.
They had to leave their trunk temporarily at the station because they had to walk to their home. Toulouse said he would return the next day to retrieve it.
It was a long, long walk and had took most of the after noon but soon the most beautiful sight in the world appeared. Their home! A home they can keep forever and ever and not have to move away from in the night.
Their little cabin was small but to them it was a palace. The rest of the afternoon was spent cleaning the dust and cobwebs. Then they performed a ritual to bless their new home.
After a simple supper of tomato soup, they decided that it was finally time. When they wed, they had decided that, mostly due to Rosalie being so young, to delay consummating their union. But now four years later, it felt right that should truly start their new life in America.
***
Toulouse was able to gather 3 skeps of bees and planted the seeds of lemons and apples. He was finally able to register as a fisherman under John Pew & Sons fisheries thanks to their closet neighbor, John Reed. The downside to this was that Toulouse was often gone for anywhere from two weeks to a month. Rosalie was constantly worried whenever he left for Gloucester, his violin on his back. To keep herself sane, she joined a knitting club with the other wives of Brindleton. She also started to arrange flowers for fun instead of necessity and found she liked it. She also enjoyed caring for the bees and even learned how to make mead.
Sometime in late September, she started to notice some... hanges about herself. She could barely stand to put her chemise on, let alone her corset, due to the tenderness in her breasts. Not only that but it seemed as if her nipples were getting bigger and darker. Then she thought about it. She hasn't had her curse since they arrived in Brindleton.
Apprehension turned to joy, as she realized she was pregnant! Oh it was finally happening, a baby was surely a lucky thing to have. However, once Toulouse returned, he was happy for them but it was another burden on his already exhausted mind. Days of only four hours of sleep were beginning to take their toll on him.
However, they would manage. Devla had blessed them so much. They should appreciate the luck He had graced them with.

Previous / Start / Next
Yay! They are home! I decided that this version of Brindleton is just outside of Gloucester, MA. Mainly because one of my hyperfixations is maritime disasters and history, and Gloucester is the setting of the movie that started that hyperfixation, The Perfect Storm. I imagine Brindleton is also in Essex County and is inbetween Gloucester and the Maine border. (Bleu is not living MA so he might get some things inaccurate)
According to Rromani tradition at the time, Toulouse and Rosalie had an arranged marriage. Rosalie was 14 and Toulouse was 23. Instead of consumating, they decided to wait. During this time, they found out that despite not having known each other prior, they made for good friends. This is similar to my Baba and Grandfather's arranged marriage, only Baba was 15.
I'm so excited for the new baby!
I'm still getting into the groove of writing my own characters that are not Sweetjane, so they may seem boring >.< for now.

Hi Rae! I always think "Rae of Sunshine" when I hear your name ☀️ I hope you've been doing well and taking care of yourself <3 I'm going to tag @bonheur-cafe as she was kind enough to send an ask too <3
love can pull you out of yesterday
The day TK falls through the ice is a day that Carlos doesn't want to remember, but it's one he can't forget. It's the day he's currently stuck living over and over and over again.
summer slipped us underneath her tongue
TK Strand is a freshly heartbroken art history student who's been given the opportunity of a lifetime; studying art in the heart of it all, Paris, France. However, he thinks it's a cruel taunt from the universe. He's studying what he loves so much in the city of love but is stuck thinking there's no one out there who loves him. Carlos Reyes is a career driven culinary student studying at Le Cordon Bleu. He has hard time maintaining relationships, an even harder time of detaching himself from his work and and has an awful habit of doubting everything about himself. After a night out that they end up sharing with each other; they agree to keep any and all things casual. Well, like most things, that's easier said than done.
tender eyes that shine
“No llores, nieto,” Carlos’ abuelo tells him during the wake of his abuela's funeral. His abuelo crouches down, his joints cracking and popping as he stoops to Carlos’ eye level. He raises a calloused thumb and wipes away the tears that are still falling from Carlos’ wide brown eyes. “Men like us,” His abuelo continues, his words casting a wide net. “We don’t let the world pity us, we can’t let them see us as soft.” Carlos nods, wiping away any new tears that are starting to fall. The right sleeve of his charcoal gray suit now comes away colored a staunch black where Carlos’ tears have dampened it. For some reason, the way his abuelo says ‘soft’ ricochets off of Carlos, as if it were stone and Carlos is a thin sheet of glass nestled into a window pane. It’s left a dent, an imprint, an impression, but hasn’t done enough damage to cause a crack. Carlos’ bloodshot eyes shine with hesitation as he asks, voice small and insecure, “Reyes men don’t cry? “Reyes men don’t cry,” His abuelo confirms.
29 Going on 30
During a trip to New York City to celebrate TK turning 30, TK and Carlos stumble upon a list of things TK always wanted to do before he turned 30, all of them being references to romantic comedies he loved so much growing up. While TK is fine with leaving the past in the past, Carlos thinks there's no better time than the present. He thinks that TK deserves to feel the same type of love he loved watching on the silver screen, so he devotes the rest of their trip to just that. Told through a tale filled with everlasting love, a never-ending trek across New York City and the occasional painful reminder of the past, Carlos learns a little more about the city TK once called home and TK learns a little more about himself.
a little taste of love
TK Strand, a florist working for the renowned flower shop, Bloom With a View, can't take his eyes off of Carlos Reyes, a baker working at Cake My Day, the bakery across the street.
I say it all the time now, but if I were to ever just randomly stop writing one day and never published anything again, I'm glad I got the Time Loop AU up. Definitely a new personal favorite (summer slipped us, you still have a special place in my heart) <3
