ALSO, TO EXPLAIN THE "JACK IS SHOW-BEAR" PART OF THE THEORY, JACK WOULD BE HEARTBROKEN AND HE WOULDN'T WANT HIS DEAR DAUGHTER TO BE AS WELL, SO HE WOULD TRY AND MAKE HER FORGET HIS, ROSIE'S, AND HER YOUNGER SIBLING'S DEATH, WHICH GIVES HIM A VALID REASON TO TRY AND GIVE HER THE FORGET-PILLS. LET'S NOT FORGET THE LITERALLY FIRST EPISODE IN WHICH JACK IS IN LITTLE BON'S TV, WHICH HINTS AT THE FACT THAT SHOW-BEAR IS IN THE GAME BUNNY FARM. i just think the banquet should've had outlandish, weird fashion and Bloom is constantly on the corner like o.O? Like we been know the narrative purpose of the banquet was to isolate Bloom right, she's taken away from the group, Stella is for once to exercise her power in the playfield she knows and Bloom doesn't, only for it to blow up spectacularly and they show it even when Stella throws her "this is not your 15 minutes of fame" line and when Arthur says "finally someone with something to say" and when Rosalind showcases Bloom around like a show pony and then later when Bloom doesn't know the knives and finally when she's the one requested to stay behind. Rosalind is very purposefully isolating Bloom, by exploring the insecurity Stella (the only one w/ a iota of political power in the winxs suite) has.

They should've incorporated it in the costume design?? Bloom SHOULD'VE been underdressed! She should've dressed like she's going to prom and then everyone else shows up in gowns and funky weird fashion. Sky too. Isolate her!! Use your narrative visual tools!! Have Bloom, the dragon flame, be this exotic bird in a gilded cage, like Rosalind is already doing! Have her show up in a plain blue dress and then Stella's got jewelry's from head to toe, explore the class disparity, Bloom is middle class, Stella is a princess!!

If later on they'll go on to harp on how Bloom didn't have the same opportunities as the others, because she didn't have guidance from a fairy, then they should've explored this rift even earlier! She doesn't belong here!!! The camera and the writing is always pulling her aside, but the costume design makes a piss job of it.

the funniest meltdown ive ever had was in college when i got so overstimulated that i could Not speak, including over text. one of my friends was trying to talk me through it but i was solely using emojis because they were easier than trying to come up with words so he started using primarily emojis as well just to make things feel balanced. this was not the Most effective strategy... until. he tried to ask me "you okay?" but the way he chose to do that was by sending "👉🏼👌🏼❓" and i was so shocked by suddenly being asked if i was dtf that i was like WHAT???? frankly, the people whose kneejerk reaction to bisan asking for a global strike form the 21st-28th is to say that it takes years to organize a general strike are really unhelpful! no one is saying otherwise, but palestine will be a smoking crater if we all wait for years to do anything - bisan is asking us to do something now. Like are we only supposed to do something if we can do it perfectly??? At some point it’s a valid critique about the work that goes into social movement, and at another point I feel like some people are just trying to absolve themselves from not putting any effort into observing a week of economic inaction.
