you nodded, out of breath, and let him guide you into the position he wanted (on your hands and knees, ass presented to him like you were making an offering to a god). he squeezed the flesh of your behind as he entered you again, letting out a low grunt when he was able to get deeper in you from this angle. you emitted a strained whine at how far inside you he was able to reach, but sat there and took it when he began slamming his hips against you. the smacking sound of skin against skin with every thrust was hypnotizing as you lay there, face pressed against the mattress, so far gone that you could only let out whimpers at how incredible your best friend was making you feel.

"fuck," he panted after a while, "i'm gonna cum. i'm gonna cum, i'm gonna-" he spoke rapidly before grabbing your hips and slamming you back onto his shaft, earning a yelp from you. the moan he let out as he spilled into the condom would stick with you every time you remembered this experience.

his fingers gently rubbed your skin where he had been gripping you, and he slowly pulled out after a minute of heavy breathing.

"are you okay? did i hurt you?" he asked, turning you over so he could check on you. you went limp so he could maneuver you onto your back again and blinked up at him through hazy, lidded eyes.

"i'm fine, coop," you mumbled. "i need water and another fuckin' bong rip though, jesus."

he laughed quietly and pressed a loving kiss to your lips. "was that okay?" inspecting your expression for honesty, he tried to wipe off the mascara that was now caked onto your face. you shied away and instead brought his hand to hold your face tenderly.

"that was perfect. exactly what i wanted."

cooper smiled softly and kissed you again before helping you get dressed and walking you to the bathroom. when you got back, he had a bowl packed and waiting for you, along with some snacks and drinks.

"can we please have an official movie date now? i feel like a huge asshole fuckin' you like that when i haven't even treated you to a real evening. and i know this is no different than what we've been doing, hanging out in my bed, but this time i'll let you pick the movie and we can hold hands!" his goofy grin warmed your heart the second you saw him.

"of course. only if this means i'm your girlfriend, though," you countered with a raised brow.

cooper chuckled quietly and walked over to you, pulling you in for a long kiss before replying, "wouldn't have it any other way."

K - Kisses [what are their kisses like? where do they kiss their s/o, and where do they like to be kissed?]

i feel like, despite the hard facade he puts up about being nonchalant and uncaring towards pretty much everyone, cooper would be really tender and playful with you. his kisses would be really soft, mostly cheeks or forehead kisses while he’s holding you. sometimes, if he’s feeling extra romantic, he’ll kiss the back of your hand. or when he’s hugging you from behind with his face buried in your neck, he’ll kiss you in the space where your neck meets your shoulder - the kind of kiss that makes you giggle and blush bright red. other days, when he’s feeling a little more affectionate and there are less people around [usually lazy days], he’ll kiss any part of you he can reach. very much strikes me as one of those guys that will wake up late on a lazy sunday morning, find you making breakfast in the kitchen, grab you from behind and not let you go so that he can absolutely shower you in kisses.

when receiving kisses, cooper is a sucker for that good, tender shit. i feel like it would be rare for you to kiss him, just because he’s always skateboarding and running around with his friends and generally being a little shit /lh. you’re really understanding and respectful of his space and his time, which he obviously really appreciates, but that also means that he doesn’t get a whole lot of kisses from you because he’s busy. but when you do kiss him, god he’s so soft for it. he likes when you do that thing - when you specifically ask him if you can give him a kiss because it separates him from the situation and puts his attention on you. and he likes when you hold his face and bring him down to you [or up to you, if you’re taller than him!] so that you can reach and kiss him. he pretends that he hates nose kisses, but they secretly give him butterflies. he also likes when you give him cheek kisses, especially if it’s on your way out the door because he feels like it’s an indicator that you’re thinking of him, even when your main train of thought is elsewhere. and he likes when you kiss his jaw right by his ear, it just feels so special and intimate and private. also! when you’re cleaning him up after a nasty skateboarding injury and you kiss his boo-boos once he’s all cleaned up - he pretends that he hates it but he actually finds it so sweet.

R - Romantic [how romantic are they? do they go all out for dates, or do they prefer staying home?]

i feel like he’s romantic in his own way. he’s not the kind of guy that’s super vocal about his feelings for you, so he’d find other ways to show you that he cares. he’d have some soft moments with you - definitely not opposed to it! but they’re few and far between. he’d love to cuddle you on the regular, but things like dancing in the kitchen late at night with you or singing to you in the car would be rare occurrences. 

cooper strikes me as a guy that doesn’t like being home when he doesn’t need to be. he’s already usually out running around with his friends, so why would he keep you at home too? so i definitely think he would take you out for dates. definitely not anything super fancy unless it was something you had specifically talked about. but he’d mostly take you out for fast food at the park or to the beach to watch the sunset or on skateboarding dates - something like that. when you guys do have date nights at home, it’s usually stuff like your guys’ favorite movies or video games or him teaching you how to skate out front and such.

notes !! i came up with this prompt at like 4am so sorry in advance. additionally, this was meant to be a kind of baby whump fic, but it’s coming out way fluffier than i intended, so enjoy

you and cooper are crossfaded off your asses - a sort of celebration of you coming down to visit him. it’s nothing crazy. no wild party or even a kickback, just the two of you vegging on the couch, drinking beers, watching tv, sharing a blunt. just chillin, really.

and then he turns to you. gives you this dorky, soft smile with those tired eyes and nudges you. you hum and turn to him. “remember how you always said you wanted me to teach you how to skate?”

you cock your head. stare at him a moment. “yeah.”

cooper laughs at that. rolls his eyes and nudges you with his knee this time. “c’mon, let me teach you.”

you give a crooked smile, unbelieving. shake your head. “no way,” you drawl, leaning back. a beat passes and your smile grows. “for real?”

chuckling, cooper nods. “for real,” he affirms.

so the two of you stumble out of the house, into the dimly lit street, snatching a skateboard away from the wall on your way. honestly, neither of you are quite sure whose it is - it’s definitely not cooper’s by the looks of it - but it doesn’t really matter when you find yourself wobbling your way onto it. “okay, okay, okay.” cooper laughs breathily, reaching out and grasping your hands in his as you struggle to keep your balance.

“this is already kinda funky, coop,” you yelp. you probably would’ve fucking pinwheeled backwards by now if he hadn’t been holding you upright.

“hey hey, look at me,” he encourages, grip moving up to your wrists. scrunching up your nose, you chance a glance at him. the easy smile that greets you is more than enough to calm you down. “y/n, relax. you’re thinking about it too much.”

you make a ‘bleh’ kind of gesture, briefly sticking your tongue out before trying to right yourself. “am i?”

another laugh, and god, the smile it brings to your face-

“oh, 100%,” the blonde teases. you wrestle your wrist from his grip to deliver a playful punch to the chest. he only laughs, taking your hand back as you begin to wobble again. “you wanted some help, right?”

you nod, pressing your weight into his palms. thankfully, cooper doesn’t seem to mind.

“alright,” he continues. “so with the way you’re standing right now, you’d be riding goofy. is that cool with you?”

you nod again, exhaling deeply. “yeah, that is so cool.”

cooper laughs. “okay. so now, keep your feet towards the ends of the board like they are now but distribute your weight evenly - it’ll keep you from going back and forth.”

another nod and, this time, a hum.

“now bend your knees.” his grip creeps up to your elbows, allowing you to press a little more weight into him as you try to execute everything he’s said. “there you go!” he praises. “the knee thing is big; it’ll help you control your balance a little better.”

“that makes sense,” you mumble as you try to fix your posture.

“let’s try and get a little more of your weight off of me, yeah?”

“o-okay,” you agree.

you watch with wide eyes as he moves his arms up and towards you, shifting your weight back until his braced arms are nothing but a safety net. “hell yeah!” he beams. “look at you! you’re doing great.”

“well i wouldn’t say that; i haven’t even moved yet,” you mumble lightheartedly.

“you’re doing great,” cooper repeats, withdrawing only one hand. “now we can try pushing off.”

you huff. “good idea.”

“so when you push off, keep most of your weight on the board,” he instructs. “remember that time we went paddle boarding?” you hum an affirmative. “think about it like that; if you put your weight into the foot you’re using to push, you’ll probably fall. so, like, don’t do that.”

“ah, thanks,” you reply sarcastically, taking his hands back before giving an experimental push. “okay, that kind of works.”

cooper reaches up, ruffles your hair, smiles. “of course it works, dummy.”

it took a while more of practicing, figuring out how to push off without landing on your ass, adjusting your stance, trying to balance. you’d only truly fallen once on your own, so you called that a victory. then came one of cooper’s grand ideas (not really). “you wanna try doing it on your own?” cooper suggests.

and, through your inebriated stupor, some part of you lights up at the thought. “fuck yeah!” you cheer. “just, like, don’t let me die or anything,” you add, more as an afterthought than anything.

“of course,” cooper laughs, moving to stand behind you.

you squat a little, about to push off before you pause. you hold that position another second, exhaling loudly. “okay, i’m gonna do it.”

cooper, taking a step back, fights a laugh as his arms cross over his chest. “alright.”

“yep,” you continue. "any minute now.”

cooper presses a fist to his lips, a vain attempt to hide his smile. “you got this, y/n. don’t even worry about it, just send it.”

“okay.” another nod, this time to yourself. “yeah, okay.” so you push. and you start rolling down the street. you watch the pavement roll past in please disbelief before snapping back to reality. this is so cool!!

you bend your knees and center your weight, looking over your shoulder to find cooper cheering. “fuck yeah, y/n! you’re doing amazing!”

you whoop, moving your gaze forward as you pick up speed with another push. cooper chases you down the street as you keep on keeping on. all is well for a few more pushes until you push a little too hard. all the balance you’d been focusing on flies out the window and, to top it all off, the front wheel of the board catches on a rock and sends you pitching backwards. you yelp and kick out, sending the skateboard rolling down the street as you hit the ground.

“oh fuck-” you hear cooper mutter as he catches up to you. “hey, hey.” he kneels beside you, more gentle than you’ve ever seen him. “you okay?”

you barely turn to look at him, more focused on catching your breath than what exactly he was saying, but from the look on his face, you got the gist. “i’m fine,” you rasp, pushing yourself up to rest on your elbows.

“did you hit your head or anything?”

you laugh self deprecatingly, trying to play it off a little. “yeah, but it doesn’t really hurt or anything.” cooper squints his eyes skeptically. “no, seriously! it doesn’t really hurt. it’ll probably be a little bump later, but it’s fine, coop.”

“you’re sure?”

you give a breathy laugh. “i’m sure.”

staring at you a moment longer, cooper moves to help you up. “okay okay, c’mere dumbass.

groaning, you let him help you off the ground, bantering back and forth as you go together to retrieve the skateboard. leaning down to pick it up, cooper hums.

“what?” you ask, straightening back up. 

“your elbows are a little bit fucked.”

“what?” you spin in a circle like a dog chasing its own tail for a while, trying to get a decent look at the backs of your arms.

cooper, laughing, catches you by the shoulder. “don’t worry, it’s just a little road rash. nothing too crazy.”

you frown up at him with saucer-wide eyes. “wh- what is that?”

another laugh. “what’s what?”

“road rash - what is that?”

“y/n, calm down. it just means you got a little scraped up on the street, that’s all.” he ruffles your hair, looping an arm around your shoulders and steering you inside. “come on, let’s get you cleaned up.”
