my roman empire is that the actors for sirius and remus thought they were portraying a couple.

Hc that instead of merlin's beard/Godric Gryffindor Sirius starts using variations of Lupin's name as exclamations in his everyday language like

"Lupin's furry tail, that was close"

"By Lupin's name, I will hex you"

"Remoony's baggy Y-fronts, Minnie's going to kill us!!"

"Lupin's most luxurious pelt, those dungbombs did a number, huh?"

"Moony's pants, what have we done"

It drives Remus up the wall but it catches up with James, Pete and the girls and by extension, the whole Gryffindor tower and soon there are several variations going around and almost on every corner you can hear someone go

"Acting the Lupin"

"Buggering Lupin"

"Gobsmacked Remus"

"In the name of Lupin"

"By the power invested in me by Remus Lupin"

It's hilarious and by the end of their time at Hogwarts, Remus doesn't even notice it anymore to the extent that it goes from blushing profusely and dropping whatever he's holding in surprise to blushing mildly and stuttering.

Wolfstar selfcare days

(usually after exam season or full moons) where Sirius draws Remus a hot bath & puts all the salts in that he knows helps Remus’ sore muscles relax. He sits behind him on the edge of the tub and massages his shoulders, talking quietly about his week while Remus is on the verge of sleep and then when he’s done they slip in the bathtub with him.

Remus pulls them close and hooks his chin over her shoulder just for a few minutes. There’s nothing sexual about it, they just let themselves soak in the hot water that Sirius has charmed to stay hot.

When Remus feels like he’s recharged enough, he pulls back from Sirius slightly and begins washing his hair with gentle hands, careful not to pull at the knots. He knows Sirius’ hair care routine by heart at this point and he’s quietly laughing at Sirius nodding off but quickens his pace to get them out and get Sirius to bed.

They end up falling asleep tangled together, their skin still pruny and their hair wet but not before Remus makes sure that Sirius’ hair is sufficiently taken care of so that it won’t be a mess when he wakes up.

Sirius had always been fully convinced the concept of love was a disease. With the way his mother and father bickered, he truly believed they were both infected by a sickness that had cultivated over time, dark bags destroying the light in their eyes, ice setting a chill to their skin. Sirius had always been fully convinced that love destroyed them, took their lives. Sirius believed that was why Walburga and Orion showed little love to him and his brother. Sirius, just a child who tried to see good in everything, believed his parents did those awful things to him and his brother because they were trying to protect them from the illness that was love.

But then remus came along, infecting him like a person sick with plague. And then suddenly, he couldn’t figure out why his parents would keep love from him, because sirius would so willingly die for this sickness. Sirius would let his throat swell, suffocating himself if it meant he was able to have remus. sirius would let his skin turn icy if it meant he got to hold remus one more time. he would die for this love a million times over because he had remus, and that was life enough.

if wolfstar raised harry in modern time, they would've taken him to the eras tour. they would all dress up, go all out. sirius would plan the costumes and remus would pretend he hated it but he loved it. then they all went to the tour and had front row seats because sirius spent the black family fortune on it. harry was like sixteen.
