☿ It was hard enough for you to acknowledge your own gender- fully understanding it was a different topic - so coming out to Momo was going to be tough.

☿ Really tough.

☿ She was a lovely girl and a wonderful girlfriend.

☿ But could you really expect her to be supportive of something so complex?

☿ Your gender fluctuated a lot - sometimes you'd feel distinctly outside the binary, and sometimes you'd feel more masculine, or more feminine.

☿ You hadn't noticed this until recently; you rarely gave gender a second thought.

☿ Looking at yourself in the mirror and questioning everything that felt a little off, you'd figured that maybe you just wanted to feel special, a little different.

☿ So you researched. A lot.

☿ You had a system that no-one understood because you were still deep in the closet: a different coloured strand/extension in your hair (on one side only) that stood out but was never questioned.

☿ Red = Feminine, Purple = Non-Binary, Blue = Masculine, Green = Third Gender/Multigender.

☿ Coming out was a decision you spent countless nights debating.

☿ No-one 'deserved' to know, it was really nobody's business…but being gendered correctly 100% of the time did sound nice.

☿ Deep breaths, and positive thoughts.

☿ "I identify as…no, I am genderfluid. You, eh…you should probably know that."

☿ This sweet, precious thing was confused at first.

☿ But you explained it:

☿ "Sometimes I'll feel more masculine, more like a boy, sometimes feminine, neither or both/all genders? I'm still wrapping my head around it too, but eh…it can change a lot. Sometimes a few times a day. Um…sometimes one gender will stick for a while. That's why figuring it out can be…confusing. But it's also enlightening, uh…kinda nice, warm, y'know?"

☿ You'd been dating for two years, and although he never pried, he couldn’t help noticing the way you'd suddenly become uncomfortable when someone addressed you, or when you stayed in one set of clothes for too long.

☿ It wasn’t always the same, and he just figured it was anxiety and general insecurities coming to the surface.

☿ So he held you closer, wrapped you in his wings and fussed over you for hours (or however long his job would allow).

☿ He didn’t have a lot of time to consult the internet.

☿ He also didn’t want to pressure you into revealing anything.

☿ But now, the topic was unavoidable.

☿ You'd broken down, crying and mumbling to yourself when you thought he couldn’t hear you.

☿ He finds you kneeling in front of the full-length mirror in the bedroom.

☿ Rushes to your side in an instant.

☿ "What did the mirror do to you, dove?"

☿ Very, very worried, feathers shaking around you.

☿ Defensive birb, ready to protect you from that loathsome mirror.

☿ "I-I look so…so girly today! It's awful! My chest, and…and…I don’t have a binder, and I…"

☿ He places both hands on your cheeks, and you lean into him.

☿ He laughs, and somehow, it warms your heart. "I just want you to be happy. I'd do anything to make that happen, angel. You might need to explain all this to me, though. I'm a newbie, after all."

☿ If someone misgenders you, he'll correct them immediately.

☿ If someone acts ignorant or spiteful, he'll 'politely' tell them how to adjust their attitude, and how to address people outside the gender binary.

Katsuki Bakugou:

☿ You decided to use pronoun badges. There were some awesome-looking designs out there, and you'd been feeling a little more confident lately. It couldn’t hurt to clue your classmates in, right? Plus, you supposed Katsuki ought to know…he was your boyfriend, after all. He'd definitely be pissed if he discovered this a few years down the line, rage about you not placing enough trust in him, and it'd be a huge mess…

☿ You'd never interrogated him on LGBTQ+ issues, so you weren't sure how he'd take your news; he wasn’t always the most accepting (Midoriya & the quirkless community being obvious testaments to that).

☿ Needless to say, instead of being confused, he was frustrated. Why was he with someone who didn’t even know their correct pronouns? He pointed it out, very matter-of-fact.

☿ When your dazzling smile suddenly dropped, he became concerned. Was he the idiot after all? Why did he upset you? What in the Nine Circles of Hell possessed him to do that?? He didn’t even say anything bad! All he mentioned was…

☿ Oh. Shit.

☿ This boy isn't accustomed to apologising, so don’t expect it to flow naturally. He’ll try, because he loves you, but he won't keep eye contact for very long and he'll recant every few seconds.

☿ This perceived insincerity only masks his guilt, though. He’ll beat himself up for years, unless you stop him. This boy has no chill. He's always the first to go off on people when they disrespect or degrade you, so he's gotta make amends in some way, right?

☿️ Honestly, if there are any pronoun badges with really cool or pretty designs, he'll buy them for you. He'll also get for himself, to prove his acceptance and solidarity. He won't ever allow you to feel alone again. He's more than okay with your identity - it changes absolutely nothing about you. If anything, it gives you a sense of completion. He's here for that, 100%.

☿️ You better believe he'll fight for your rights.

☿️ If there's any hate/intolerance directed at you, he'll explode. Quite literally.

☿️ You'll be tasked with ensuring no-one dies. Unless you want them to, of course.

☿️ They'll deserve it.

☿️ Katsuki is very perceptive, so when he gets to grips with it, he'll most likely notice every indication (however subtle) of a gender change. He'll carry spare pronoun badges around, just in case you lose yours.

☿️ He's kinda like 'Yeah, that's my awesome partner! Look how cool they are, flaunting their pronouns like that, all confident and happy!'

☿️ This boy adores the ever-loving shit out of you. He hates reflecting on the day you came out, because he handled it so poorly at first. Thankfully now though, you're more secure.

"Gender doesn't matter. I'm gonna be a hero, not a hater."

Tamaki Amajiki:

☿️ (Y/n) wasn’t a dead name, but sometimes the very mention of it made your skin crawl.

☿️ It was a gift from your parents, so you wanted to keep it.

☿️ But it was a very gendered name - you couldn’t escape that.

☿️ So you decided on a few more - ones both your mind and heart adored.

☿️ The names corresponded to different gender identities, and although you weren't out just yet (though you planned to be shortly), they gave you the fluffiest feeling.

☿️ Because you hadn't come out, you didn’t bother making it easy for people - no different coloured bracelets, rings or anything to highlight your gender at the time.

☿️ In your heart, you knew who you were.

☿️ Still…everything seemed tied to the binary - official documents, school, the chatter of other students…you'd seen and heard it all.

☿️ These people didn’t accept non-conformists.

☿️ So why should Tamaki?

☿️ Sure, he was kind-hearted, heroic…amazing, but what would he do? What would he say, when you finally came out? You couldn’t remain in the closet forever.

☿️ No way that was happening! You were human too, your feelings mattered! Surely you were allowed to voice your truth…

☿️ He'd be accepting…right? Memorising some more names and pronouns shouldn’t be so tricky.

☿️ He got really nervous at first - he thought you wanted to break up.

☿️ Boy was sweating profusely, coming up with all sorts of counter-arguments in his head. He really, really loved you.

☿️ He'll hold your hand while he listens, squeezing it periodically to reassure you.

☿️ Now it's your turn to question the strength of your relationship.

☿️ This boy's love is deep, though; he cares way too much to let anything come between you.

☿️ Plus, nothing about you has actually changed.

☿️ You've just come into yourself, gained more comfort in who you are.

☿️ Tells you how proud he is.

☿️ Asks you to let him know when you sense your gender change, so he never calls you by the wrong name or pronouns.

☿️ Has an entire script in his head - if you want to come out but can't speak for yourself, Tamaki will push aside his anxiety and recite the words he's practiced a million times.

Touya Todoroki/Dabi:

☿️ Your identity was really important and dear to your heart.

☿️ But that didn’t stop those you cared for tearing you apart whenever you tried to speak up.

☿️ Your family, your friends…you loved them, but they just couldn’t accept you.

☿️ So you killed them.

☿️ You went on the run, evading police and heroes alike for years.

☿️ And then, you found the League of Villains - a strange dynamic, kind of like family but much more welcoming.

☿️ Yet, your identity stayed hidden. You didn’t have the strength to harm all these people, if they rejected you.

☿️ Besides, there was more solidarity here than there ever had been with your blood relatives.

☿️ Dabi was your companion, though whether that meant closest friend or love interest, you didn’t know.

☿️ He was observant, transforming his thoughts into words regardless of how that affected people.

☿️ He pointed things out immediately.

☿️ "New bracelet?"

☿️ You paused, half-shocked, half-afraid.

☿️ You knew that he'd see through any lie you posed.

☿️ The truth would be the only thing to save you from his flames.

☿️ "That means something, doesn't it, (Y/n)?"

☿️ Step 1: put the drink down so you don't shatter it in anger.

☿️ "Yeah, um…this colour means 'masculine'. I'm a guy…now."

☿️ His face betrayed nothing.

☿️ "Didn't think they'd accept me."

☿️ He made a 'Really? You're the least weird of the bunch' face.

☿️ You were too stunned to employ a comeback.

☿️ He contemplated for a while.

☿️ "So, you got any other names?"

Rumi Usagiyama/Mirko:

☿️ The excitement had been bubbling away inside you for weeks.

☿️ Rumi still didn’t know that you were genderfluid, but she was about to learn.

☿️ There wasn’t a doubt in your mind that she'd accept you.

☿️ You hadn't told her yet because it was a big thing - lots to take in, and you needed to be completely sure of it, and of your relationship.

☿️ You weren't gonna tell just anyone.

☿️ Dating Rumi was awesome, and this was just the next stage.

☿️ It didn’t go according to plan.

☿️ Not at first.

☿️ "You're pregnant?!" Was her very concerned response.

☿️ She kept muttering about how she needed some space to think things over.

☿️ Until you dragged her back, exasperated but determined to explain yourself.

☿️ "It's in reference to myself. I wanted to let you know, in a funny way, that I'm genderfluid. There's a Girl and a Boy one, and the other is for Non-Binary."

☿️ She made a noise like she understood, but you saw the confusion.

☿️ "Today's an Enby day, but you might have a girlfriend tomorrow. Or a boyfriend. Who knows?"

☿️ In an instant, the biggest smile took control of her face, and she brought you into a crushing hug.

☿️ "So I could have a girlfriend, a boyfriend and a murder partner??"

☿️ "Eh…if you can do the jail-time, count me in."

☿️ This one won't necessarily search for information herself, but she will consult you whenever she's having a difficult time processing something.

☿️ You're like,, the expert in all things LGBTQ+, and she loves listening to you talk so passionately.

☿️ She's really glad you told her - that you trusted her with something so important.

☿️ She feels loved, and makes sure you do too.

☿️ Asks if you ever thought she'd reject you.

☿️ "Nah. We'll go strong forever, Rumi."

☿️ She's overjoyed, honestly.

"You're so brave for coming out, and if someone doesn’t like it, I'll kick their butt."

Geten/Iceman:

☿️ Geten didn’t have the faintest clue about gender identities. He accepted male and female, but without a proper education or motivation to learn anything beside his quirk, you didn’t expect him to understand. You would've held it in, if you were strong enough to deal with the constant misgendering.

☿️ If you use Neopronouns, you're especially worried. They aren't as widely welcomed as the general She/He/They. And Geten being the angry, feral gremlin he is, his temper was a major concern.

☿️ You couldn’t change for him, so if he decided to lash out or disapprove, you'd be crushed. You'd obviously have to walk out of the relationship, if he didn’t do so himself. As deeply as your love ran, you simply couldn’t put yourself through such anguish. You weren't of the soundest mind, so to be rejected by Geten…

☿️ He isn't gonna understand unless you sit him down, crack open the slideshow presentation and maybe start crying? He'll feel guilty, but he doesn't ever wanna see you in distress. He said as much, in the beginning of your relationship.

☿️ So cry. Cry your little heart out, and he'll do everything within his power to comfort you. He's not the most receptive to other people's emotions, but with you, it's different. He's always by your side, always watching over you. His hugs are a little stiff, but wrap your arms around him tightly, and he'll protect you with his life.

☿️ "So…genderfluid?"

☿️ His tone is gentle, like he's afraid to cause any more tears.

☿️ "Yeah, um…you identify with your birth sex, right? Well, I don't…not all the time. And if you could…could use those pronouns? That would mean…a lot. To me. It'd mean everything, actually…"

☿️ He's quiet for a while, still trying to make space in his brain for all this new information. It isn't something he needs to 'come around to', though. He'll be completely painful and respectful. He's bound to slip up a few times, but he'll always correct himself.

☿️ Hates seeing you cringe whenever he makes a mistake. Always vows never to let it happen again.

☿️ You're okay though - you know it's gonna take time.

☿️ Angry boi never uses your gender identity as an insult, and openly condemns (threatens) anyone who does. He'll want to prove himself - prove he's gonna love you regardless of gender, regardless of everything!

☿️ Honestly doesn't know why you were so nervous to explain this. When he said his love was unconditional, he wasn’t lying.

Summary: Japanese thief, Yume Iwao, is on the run to find a hiding spot. Little did they know, it was the League of Villains’ hideout. 

A/N: Ahhhhh this is my first time writing on here in a while. I made an OC who i thought would be cute with Shiggy. I hope you like them as much as i do! (chapter 2 has the tickles in it hehe)

Sirens wailing downs the streets of Japan.

"Shit.." Yume whispered quietly. They pushed their black glasses up on their nose.

Clutching their backpack strap tight, Yume scanned for a hiding spot. They couldn't go home until dark, they lived pretty far. Plus, the police would surely follow them. Luckily the stores they knocked off were on the older side of the city. Most of the homes were condemned, so lots of homeless people used them for shelter. No biggie. Nothing that they couldn't handle, they've surely been through worse. Quickly digging through their backpack, they changed the hoodie they were wearing. Yume shoved the rest of their hair under the hat.

They settle on a house a couple streets away. Plus, they didnt even need to break anything to get inside. The back door was cracked open. Slipping inside, they let the door shut gently behind them. The air was somewhat stale and old, but it'll do. Walking a little deeper inside, they open the closest door. Flipping the light on, gasping as their blood runs cold. It's a bedroom. The room wasn't much, just a bed, a cage in the corner, a small table with a computer covered in notes, and a closet. Iwao needed to get out of there fast, before whoever lived here came back.

Suddenly, the back door opened. Yume froze in place.

"I told you, hot head, leave the pipe in the door when we go out. What if we lost the key?" a raspy voice spoke.

"Then you're even dumber than I thought, not that I'm surprised.." another low voice responded. Shit shit SHIT! They become frantic, quickly turn the light off again. Yume ran to hide inside the closet, leaned against the cool wood in the back of it. Their anxiety teetered on the brink of a panic attack. Air fills their lungs as they take deep, controlled breaths.

"Yeah yeah guys quit your bitching, I'll order food later. I'm gonna change first, this shirt smells like shit." Whoever lived in here, their scent was very pleasant. The slight sense of tea and old spice filled Yume's nose. They heard the bedroom door close, then some rustling. They slowly peak out of the crack in the closet door. There was a guy in the room, crouching by the cage.

"Hey buddy hey, you miss me huh? You miss daddy?" He cooed at the cage. 'Who was he talking to?' They wondered.

He stood up fully, gods he was tall. His scraggly light blue hair hung to his shoulders. He set his phone down aside, only to grab the bottom of his shirt. Yume's cheeks heat up as he pulls it off, but all that goes out of their mind when they feel something jump down onto their shoulders. Yume let out scream as they tripped over something in the closet, falling through the doors. They ended up face up at the ceiling, frozen. Suddenly, the man was on top of Yume, pinning them to the floor by the throat with 4 fingers.

"Who the FUCK are you and why are you in my room?!" He growled in his raspy voice, his red eyes dilated.

They stuttered as they spoke. "I-I'm sorry..! I was just-!"

"What's going on in there?" the second voice from earlier shouted from outside.

"Dabi get a rope and a chair, quick!" Panicked breaths fill Yume's lungs. There was the sound of the bedroom door slamming into the wall. Another man rushed in with the requested items. He was definitely scarier than the guy that had them by the neck. The thing was, the grip wasn't even tight. He was only using 4 fingers to hold their throat, maybe his quirk had something to do with that.

"What the fuck is going on here, Shigaraki?" Shigaraki...why did that name sound so familiar? Yume didn't have time for this, these guys were probably going to kill them, or worse. Which meant they had to act fast. They used their shoulder to shove Shigaraki into the wall. They rush to the door, trying to get past Dabi. Sadly, he was stronger than they anticipated. He dropped both items and grabbed them. Quickly, he threw their backpack to the floor, twisting your arm behind their back. Yume yelped in pain, trying to shake him off.

"Feisty little brat you found Shiggy, maybe they'd make a nice new Nomu?" Dabi growled in their ear.

"LET GO OF ME YOU FREAK!" Yume screamed. Shigaraki was on his feet, one hand on the chair. Dabi spun them into the chair, landing roughly. Both Shigaraki's hands used all his strength to hold their shoulder's down. Again, only using 3 fingers and a thumb on hold each shoulder. What was his deal? The two passed the rope back and forth around Yume torso, all the while they tried to wiggle free.

"I'd stop moving around brat, wouldn't want these fingers of mine to slip.." Shigaraki's raised finger gently teased the skin on their shoulder. Yume froze at the feeling, their skin was tingling, almost vibrating. It didn't hurt, but it was certainly a strange feeling. What kind of quirk was this? Not wanting to risk it, reluctantly they stop moving.

"Much better, now. Who are you...and why the fuck are you in my room?" he walked around the chair to stand with Dabi. Yume finally got a chance to get a good look at the both of them.

Fuck they were both terrifying. Yume felt their lip quiver, their eye glossing up a little too.

"Not talking huh? I'd reconsider that. We'd hate to have to use our quirks on you, brat." Dabi stepped closer to Yume, their struggling amplified. Suddenly, Dabi's whole arm burst into blue flames. They shrank away with a yelp, the flames inches from their skin. Yume closed their eye under the glasses they were still wearing. Dabi let his flames go out, leaving a stinging heat on Yume's cheek.

"The results could be dastardly..." Shigaraki's right hand slowly inched to Yume's face.

"W-Wait.. hey get away from me...don't touch me HEY!" Their eye open with fear. 5 fingertips touched on the lenses of their glasses. Before their eye, Yume's glasses turned to powder in their lap.

"Well well, look at you. Does that have to relate to your quirk? They might make an interesting Nomu yet.." Shigaraki pointing at Yume's eye.

"Y-yeah I can um, petrify things...anything." They explained softly.

"Interesting. Tell me brat, why haven't you used it on us yet?" Dabi cocked his eyebrow.

"B-Because...I don't like using it on people unless I have to. I mainly just use my bat." Nodding to their bat on the floor near their backpack.

"Really...such a shame. Now listen, if I don't get some answers as to why you're in my room..." Shigaraki quickly snatched Yume's backpack off the floor, dumping the content on the bed. "...or I'll start putting my quirk to use." He picked up one of their personal items, which just so happened to be their art tablet.

"Ok ok...jeez..my name is Iwao Yume. I'm here because I was hiding from the police." Making eye contact with their lap. Dabi laughed a little, causing you to look up.

"The police? What could a tiny thing like you do to make the police chase you?" He snickered. Yume huffed.

"Open the brown bag there...but anything in there is mine." Yume said assertively. Shigaraki grabbed the bag and opened it. Dumping it out, at least 200,000 yen fell on to his palm.

"Oh shit.." Both of them said under their breath.

"Where did you get this much money?"

"I robbed a couple stores in the same mall before the cops were called. Please, I really need it. I'll leave right now just.. please don't take the money." Yume's eye welled up with tears peaking in both corners. Both men looked at Yume, to tell the truth. They both felt a little bad, of course neither of them would admit that to each other, or Yume.

"No." Shigaraki put the money back in the bag and closed it. Yume looked a little startled, some tears dropping from their eye.

"N-No?" Yume asked, suddenly very worried.

"No, you can't leave here. They'll be looking for you. They find you, they find us. You're staying here tonight." As he spoke, he let all his fingers touch the rope.

You had walked into the base with your head down. Quickly walking over to the couch and turning on the tv while trying to distract yourself, hoping that your emotional state would go unnoticed by everyone. But you should have known better. 

“Y/N? Have you been crying?” Toga questioned from across the room. Everyone immediately looked up from whatever they were doing to look at you.

“No, I’m good.” You stated defensively, turning your attention to the screen in front of you. Your eyes were slightly puffy and your skin was red. It was obvious that you were, so why were you lying?

“Are you sure? You liar.” Twice commented as he also took in your disheveled appearance.

“Yeah.” You assured not removing your eyes from the tv. You were too afraid to now, knowing that if you looked away for even a second you’ll start crying again.

Dabi walked over, annoyed from your lack of response, immediately snatching the remote from your hand and shutting off the tv. “Quit screwing around and tell us the truth.”

One look into his eyes and that was all it took for you to break down into a sobbing mess. Toga was at your side in an instant reassuringly rubbing your back. Dabi and Shigaraki were both visibly tense seeing you so broken down.

When Toga had finally calmed you down enough to where you weren’t a blubbery mess every time you tried to talk. Shigaraki was quick to jump in, scratching at his neck slightly in agitation.

“Y/N, what exactly happened when you went out earlier?”

You let out a shaky breath, knowing that the only option at this point was to come clean. “I went to my boyfriend’s place to surprise him. And when I had walked in. He was in bed with some other girl.” You explained, tears beginning to pool in your eyes as the memories of the event resurfaced, “I’m such an idiot.”

“No not at all Y/N. He’s the idiot. Come on, let’s go cheer you up. We can have a girl’s night” Toga cheered, grabbing you by the hand and leading you out of the room despite your protests. 

As she gently pushed you out the door, she quickly turned around, her smile dropping while giving a dead look on her face as she pretended to slice her neck with her finger. Signaling what everyone had already been thinking.

Everyone in the room nodded in agreement at her implication. Whoever this guy was, he chose the wrong girl to cheat on.

a/n: Ugghhh this took me a long time and I’m still not that happy with it...  I’ve been slowly losing steam, it’s probably bc of finals coming up and my grades and yeah...  Still!  I hope this crackity type thing makes you guys smile.  This is kiiind of a sequel to Sleepless? It happens in the same continuity/universe/timeline, think of it that way.

Also!  I have a few more requests and more originals from myself, but I have exams this week, so I possibly won’t be posting until after Wednesday, unless I decide to write that Bakugou hc request I just got to tide you guys over.

I didn’t use it very much, but gender neutral they/them pronouns here!

As soon as I stepped into the kitchen, all their eyes were on me.  Their silence is exactly what I expected, and I wanted nothing more than to disappear.  I try tilting my hat down so they can't see my face as I place the plastic bag on the table.  "Sorry I'm late, here's food. I'm gonna wash up-"

A hand comes down on my head and I gulp.

"What happened to your face?"

Dabi's voice lowering a whole octave and a half is the scariest thing in the world, change my mind.  "N-Nothing..."

"That's also not the jacket you left with earlier," Twice adds across from me.

Damnit, when did they get so perceptive?  I haven't been staying here for too long, I didn't think they would care about me other than when I go get their food and run other errands for them.

"(Y/n)," Kurogiri crosses his arms over his chest.  "Take the jacket and the hat off.  Now."

I can't refuse them when they're all piercing me with their murderous gazes like that.  They've been nice enough to keep me here, but they're still villains, I can't say they don't scare me in the slightest.  I'm deathly afraid of what might happen if they see what happened to me.  I slowly remove my jacket first, revealing a few scrapes and bruises on my arms.  When I'm met with silence, I remove my hat too, scrunching my eyes closed and preparing for the worst.

"What. Happened?"

I flinch at Dabi's harsh question, not having the courage to look up and look him in the eyes.

"Answer me, kid."

I pick at a scratch on my palms.  "I-I got caught up in an attack w-with the heroes.  I got a little-"

"A little what?!" Twice slams a hand down on the table and I jolt.  "Your face has a giant sore!  What hit you?!"

"Or who?" Dabi asks, hands clenched as his arms cross over his chest.

I back away, defensive about the whole situation.  "It wasn't on purpose.  They hit the ground and something went flying at my face-"

"You could've gotten hurt worse than that!" Dabi booms at me, stepping forward.  "Why didn't you block it in time?"

I feel myself getting smaller and smaller.  "I was running, and I heard someone screaming behind me, and I wasn't paying attention, that's all."

"Aw Dabi, you don't have to be so harsh," Toga wraps an arm around my quivering shoulders.  "You're being scary again, tone it down a notch."

"Yeah, stupid, you're going too OP on the yelling, no one wants to hear your mouth," Shigaraki pipes up, seemingly unbothered by the whole thing ad choosing to focus all his attention on his handheld console.

Dabi whirls onto him.  "What'd you say, Crusty?  How about you say it with your chest?"

Shigaraki stands up and gets in his face.  "I wonder what burnt chicken ashes tastes like-"

"Enough, you two!" Kurogiri booms out.  "There are more pressing matters than your pointless bickering."

"Yeah, our poor birdie (Y/n) got hurt," Toga rubs my face.  I wince when her finger brushes over the sore spot, but I don't want to push her away for fear she might do something to me.  "That's gonna leave a huge bruise for a few weeks."

"I'm gonna destroy whichever hero it was who caused it," Dabi returns back to me.  "Who was it?  Endeavor?  Best Jeanist?  One of those UA kids?"

"I don't know.  I didn't see them clearly," I squeak.  He's really gonna kill me now.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU DIDN'T SEE IT?"  Blue flames emerge from his palms.

"Hey, hey, take it down a few notches."  Twice wraps an arm around Dabi's shoulder and pats his arm.  "No need to act all tough."

"I'm sorry I got hurt, I'll be more careful next time."  The tears build up behind my eyes, but I try to hold them back.  I don't want to see what happens if I cry in front of them.

"Aw, look what you did," Twice exasperatedly motions to my bowed head.  "This is what happens when you're a tsundere hiding your feelings all the time."

"Come here, (Y/n)."  Kurogiri motions to the seat next to Shigaraki.  "Let me take care of your wounds."

"But," I blink back to clear my vision, "I deserved it, didn't I?"  Shouldn't I be in trouble now?

"Oh, shut up, stop being an emo," Toga pushes me toward the chair.

I end up seated at the bar, still constricting myself inward.  I'm not comfortable with anything going on, not to mention how perplexed I am.

Shigaraki spares a sideways glance at me before mashing at his buttons nonchalantly.  "That's one hell of a bruise, you're gonna look worse than me for a while."

I can't judge from his tone if he's insulting me, or trying to make a joke, or failing miserably at comforting me.

Kurogiri places a first aid kit on the counter.  "I'll do your face first."  He pulls out a few cotton swabs and a bottle solution.

Twice leans his arm on the counter on my other side.  "What's with that face, (Y/n)?  You look worried."

I pause for a moment before I look down at my feet.  "I'm waiting for you guys to do something to me."

The entire room freezes again and goes silent, sending me into another heart-racing mini panic.

Twice is the first to break the silence.  Even the soft hand he places on my shoulder makes me jumpy.  "I don't know how things were before you met us, or if that's the kind of impression we give," he shoots a look at Dabi, who just crosses his arms and looks away, "But that's not how we do things.  It was an honest mistake, how could you have known that would happen?  We're just concerned about if something bad happened to you."

I perk up at his words.  "You mean, I'm not just your lackey running your errands?  I'm not just an annoying kid you found on the street?"

"You make it sound like you're a stray cat or something," Shigaraki comments.  "Though, you are quiet and require a moderate amount of attention..."

"Of course you're not just a lackey, silly!  You're one of us!"  Toga's sweater pawed hands envelop my torso in a hug.  "Dabi's just being a meanie because he doesn't know how to show affection.  He should still apologize though."

"Yes, Dabi!" Twice adds with a flourish, "Apologize to my poor child!"  He grabs my head and forcefully pushes it into his hard chest.

Dabi sighs heavily, rubbing the back of his neck as the two stare at him expectantly.  "I shouldn't've yelled at you, kid.  I didn't know you'd be scared like that."

"It's fine."  It's weird being smothered by a group of housemates who might as well be strangers, but it blooms warmth into me somehow.

"Alright, you get first bite of the grub."  Twice eagerly opens up the bags of food and rips open one of the containers and disposable chopsticks to feed me.

Kurogiri gently blots at my face with his first aid supplies.  "Toga, stop wiggling, you're moving (Y/n)!"

Her grip around my waist doesn't loosen at all, her face snuggling into my back.  "Ey, Twice, it's no fair you get to feed (Y/n) first, I wanna do it!"

It's at this moment when I feel like Dabi and Shigaraki are the most normal ones out of all of them, until they start bickering over a container of noodles and start destroying things so Kurogiri needs to reprimand them again.  Even so, among all the prodding, squeezing, pulling, bickering, and smothering, I wonder if this is what family is supposed to feel like.

A secret smile only I can see quirks at my lips.  Nah, they're just weirdos.

Ah yes, the crackhead shenanigans, I think writing these types of requests will become a guilty pleasure eventually.  If it’s alright with you, lovely, I can make this in the same general continuity as my last LoV post from yesterday, and this one can take place after the reader has finally warmed up to the rest of them and they’re all okay with being crackheads around each other! Oh what a wonderful idea that is!

Also just an update for you guys, after the next 2 requests, one of which will hopefully go up tonight, I’ll be taking a small break from answering requests because I’ve had two of my own original ideas that I’ve been waiting to write until I finish all my requests, but I’m fortunate to have the problem that I don’t seem to be running out!
