A/N: I have a lot of thoughts about Bruce as you can see, he's a complicated guy. I wouldn't say he's super romantic like the other guys I've written, he's like a slow burn kinda guy. I can see why people like him but I'm still on the fence if I'd date him fr fr.

I won't sugarcoat it, it'll be a rocky road dating Bruce but it's not impossible. Unlike Clark, Batman is who he is and Bruce Wayne is what he can do. The mission always comes first, so him taking time to dedicate to you is special. It's a lot protecting the city and being the backbone of the league.

He is consistently booked and busy, nobody can do what he does so he always has do things himself. It can be difficult for him to ask for help or just allow people to do things for him. In and out of the costume he's got a lot of walls up. He may seem cold on the surface but he feels very deeply. The death of his parents really stunted him emotionally so it will take some time to soften him up.

In terms of a partner ideally he'd need someone with some softness to file down those hard edges he has. Even if his partner isn't soft he provide that comfort and warmth in his own way over time. He's spent most of his life keeping people at an telephone pole's length away(except Alfred of course).

Physical touch with a partner will feel foreign, all the batfam like to hug him and stuff but their the ones intiating most of the time. That will also be the case for you, you'd have to hug him first if you want to touch him. The longer your relationship goes you'll be able to tell when he wants to be hugged or kissed just from the lingering looks he gives you. The touches he does give you are long gentle caresses, he loves stroking your cheek with his thumb. Sometimes after a difficult patrol he'll just hold you in his arms and press his forehead against yours.

Staring!! He'll always be staring at you whether you're looking or not. He's kind of like a cat, blinking at you real slow is his way of blowing kisses. The way he looks at you is exclusive to you only! It's so much softer and adoring than his usual scary pokerface staring. In a JL meeting, before everyone knows you're dating they might think he can't stand you. Inside though he's like 💓💗💖💘💝.

You can translate his grumbles and sounds. Bruce isn't the most talkative guy and he's in his head alot. So when he's busy or distracted and you ask him a question you understand his tone. Barry: "So is Bruce gonna be at the Flash parade tomorrow?" Bruce: "Hmm..." You: "Yeah he'll be there!".

The rest of the batfamily notice the effect you've had on him, you managed to crack the coldness he's built over the years. In addition to already liking you they're grateful for you being there for him. They'll even tease you both when you have dinner together. Fake vomitting when Bruce kisses you on the cheek, calling you Mom/Dad/Parent.

If you are another superhero(yes he does have a contingency plan for you) You may butt heads from time to time he may come off as underestimating you but he just wants to protect you by getting ahead of the problem. When he knows your abilities/skills maybe exactly what he needs in a certain situation, he’ll hit you up. He does his best not to hover when you go on solo missions, he will check in over comms at the most random times though. When you do go on missions together, you never notice but he'll stay very close to you.

You've got maximum scary dog privilege when you two go out together but when he goes out as Bruce Wayne he's still gotta put up that raunchy facade. He won't get too frisky with you but he will take the opportunity to flirt a little. He'll whisper little compliments and pick-up lines in your ear when you slow dance together.

The Bat-Adoption Papers are literal Magic Contracts

So! In the Deified Batman AU (the AU where the Belief of the peoples of Gotham accidentally Ascended Batman to minor godhood), the Bat Adoption Papers would be a fun concept.

Batman is a God of The Night, Fear, and Protection. Specifically, the protection of Children, which is one of his biggest motivators. Meaning, it's a big part of his Divine Domain.

So when he, a God of Protection and Children, adopts his own Child? It's kind of a big deal.

His Adoption Papers basically become Magical Contracts that claim Dick to him as his own Son, basically turning Dick into a Demigod by the fact that he is the Son of a God.

Then each time Batman adopts a kid, they become a Demigod as well. Maybe after enough time, and after they forge their own Identities, they could become Minor Gods of their own? Idk, fun idea

Why do I bring this up?

Well, when Danny eventually joins the JLA, and runs into Batman, all he sees in a God of the Night, who takes one look at him, and then pulls out a Magical Binding Contract from his Belt.

Needless to say, he books it.

John and JLD are up against a threat from the infinite realm. When the being goes to declare their plans to destroy the planet. The being suddenly comes to a halt.

Apparently there is a single ecto entity that has a haunt on this planet. So they can’t flat out destroy the planet, that would just be rude.

Upon an investigation. As they are definitely gonna scout out who the ecto entity is at the minimum. They find none other the Cujo.

Seeing as it’s quite common for ecto animals to claim an ecto being in the realm as their “haunt”. The JLD assume Cujo, who is asleep on Danny, claimed Danny as his.

A/N: There is not enough oliver queen fics on the internet like this man is so fine. 😩😩😩 You guys need to wake up and appreciate him I'm so serious. This is gonna be based off comic/jlu oliver since I don't rock with the live action one. We don't like live action counter parts in these parts.

In the beginning it doesn't take much for him to work up the courage to ask you out. You weren't having it at first given his reputation, all the girls and boys couldn't get enough of Oliver Queen. This inital skepticism in his motives leads to him trying to win you over, aka impressing you. This results in a cute little back and forth with you two. Him going bigger and bigger with his gestures and you shaking your head amused at his antics. You do cave eventually seeing how far he'll go to get your attention.

You can't go on missions with him at all. At first he's taking everything as seriously as he's supposed to but, the last half he's fooling around.

God forbid it's a stakeout, yeah you both need to keep a look out but he just wants to kiss you for 5 minutes that's all. He teases you about it too he's so annoying. He'll get real close when you're looking out your binoculars and whisper in your ear, "Come on honey you know you wanna kiss me." wink wink nudge nudge. Of course you end up making out on a rooftop only stopping when an explosion goes off in the distance.

He loves taking you on trips, spoiling you in general. Even if you insist you don't need anything he just likes giving you stuff. You need new headphones? Got it. You need a new car, say no more he's got it.

When things get difficult he likes to try to joke just to see you smile, or elevate some tension. Oliver isn't the type of guy to do nothing when his partner is feeling down. He at his core is very proactive, if the jokes don't work he'll make your favorite drink or take you for a drive.

If you are a superhero/vigilante, he makes sure he gets paired up with you so he can have your back. Powers or no powers he doesn't want you to go alone. If you're a civilian, he checks in on you during missions. He could be mid-fight and call you about how your day was. "So....What are you wearing?" SMASH! CRASH! SHATTER! "Hang on one sec honey!" When he does get injured he tries to play it off like it's not as bad as it actually is. He'll melt when you take of his injuries, he'll never be quieter than when you do that.

He really doesn't like to sleep without you, some nights he gets nightmares about being back on the island. You're always there to comfort him after, being able to hold you when you both sleep is very grounding for him. Being able to wake up next to you is best part of his day, he likes to sneak off while you're sleeping and make pancakes.

Having to go with him undercover to gather intel, he going to have a very hard time concentrating when you get dressed up. He's having a conversation with Bruce and Dick when you walk in. As soon as you come into his view his mind goes blank for a moment. Dick has to snap his fingers in front of Oliver's face to bring him back to Earth. He CANNOT be away from you all night after that, of course you get the info you need but he won't stop complimenting you.

"Yeah I agree with you gorgeous." "Of course beautiful, duly noted." "Creeps like that aren't coming anywhere near you pretty." "You might be too smart for me good-looking." "I can't wait to get out of here you look stunning tonight."

He is your biggest fan, when he wants to make a decision he asks for your input. In the watchtower and the hall of justice, during mission briefings he makes sure you can voice your opinion uninterrupted. He'll even buy merch of your superhero logo, you might walk into his mansion and see him wearing a shirt with your logo on it. Oliver may even get you a green arrow shirt and look at you like this 🥺🥺 to get you to wear it.

Not So Happy Ending

How could this have happened?

How could they have allowed this to happen?

They should have been more keen, more aware of what was going on under their own noses. They should have been more strict. If only they had stopped arguing and fighting amongst each other. If only they had really come together as a unified family then maybe they wouldn’t be here now. They wouldn’t currently be sat in the middle of a beautiful ceremony that should be filled with nothing but happiness and joy instead of animosity and disdain. They wouldn’t have to witness their shared pride and joy walk down the aisle to someone so undeserving as him.

The only thing keeping them all in their seats and their mouths shut was the oh so warm and loving smile their precious (Name) had spread across their face. Although it did absolutely disgust them how such a beautiful and pure sight was being directed to such a loathsome person, the bane of their existence really.

Who was to know just how serious things would become later on? Who was to know that someone they had presumed as harmless in the very beginning would be the one to tear their lives apart? Honestly, they should have seen it coming but they just wanted their darling happy.

It was already hard enough to get them to accept and love the family as their own when they first brought their precious sweetheart home (and they had fought back so hard too) but now they were expected to sit idle and allow someone to steal away their beloved child, their adoring sibling. No, they’ve spent too much time, love, blood and sweat in building their little family back up from the ashes. If it weren’t for their cherished (Name) being brought into all their lives who knows how this family would have ended up. Their vary existence is what salvaged them all and they would be damned to let it slip through their fingers.

No, no one was going to tear their family apart not when they had finally found solace after being lost in the dark for far too long.

As if this whole thing wasn’t reason enough to start plotting away, the bright shining smile their darling sent their way was all they needed. They all shared a look amongst each other and as much as they disagreed and fought, they would come together to bring their sweetheart home and keep them there. No matter who got hurt in the process.

WIP #4: Captain Marvel The Animated Series (written)

Episode One: Welcome To Fawcett I

Freddy sat down in the booth across from Billy Batson, surprised by the softness of the seats as he practically sank into them. He took in the decoration of the diner with awe, recognizing the old interior design from pages of history books and old television shows. Looking around, a lot of the photos on the walls were in color, but most of them were in the classic black-and-white style that hadn't aged a day, along with the people in them. The radio on the counter of the kitchen window was playing an old tune, one that Freddy recognized as his grandfather's favorite! He was so enchanted by the vintage nature of the place that he hadn't noticed Billy ordering milkshakes for the both of them. If Freddy hadn't snapped back to reality when their drinks were brought to the table, he was sure he would have been there for hours.

"Wow! You know, I heard that Fawcett was frozen in time for like, decades, but it doesn't really hit you until you get here. The architecture, the people, the whole vibes of everything you all have around here just scream old-timey. No wonder my grandpa wanted to move here, haha-oh, wait! I didn't mean that as an insult, trust me! Fawcett has a good thing going for them. I just need some getting used to it, that's all." Freddy's nervous laughter eased down, as he wiped away the sweat rolling down his face. He was naturally popular in school and around the other kids, as Billy saw firsthand, but actually making friendships and connections with people took more effort than just being a pretty face. Freddy knew that. He just hoped he wouldn't bite his tongue or say the wrong thing as the new kid in town. A kid from the modern day around kids from the past? Yeah, that was for sure going to go great. "I just need to get used to being in this town...it's all new to me." His voice waivered above a whisper at the end, an unsure look in his eyes telling Billy that there was more going on than on the surface.

Billy took in the nervous expression and behavior Freddy was showing, trying to think of a way to calm him down. During school, he could tell that Freddy needed some fresh air and time to think about his move to Fawcett without being bombarded by all the other kids who kept asking him questions. Billy also knew that Freddy moved to Fawcett because of rather...unfortunate reasons, after hearing the rumors that spread around the school, like wildfire, during lunch. He didn't want Freddy to associate Fawcett with negative emotions, thus, the reason for inviting him to Philip's Diner.

"No, it's alright, you don't have to worry about anything, Freddy. Fawcett folk here understand the odd looks we get from the rest of the world." Billy chuckled, taking another sip of his milkshake with a smile. He didn't get the chance to drink these very often, so the moment he saw the chance to have one again with his new friend, Freddy Freeman, Billy seized the opportunity. Honestly, he never treated himself to anything nice unless someone else was tagging along or if the main reason was in consideration of another. Always the money saver, that kid. "You know, being the new kid in town, being the new town in the world, it's not so different once you think about it. The Fawcett Freeze may have set us back, but we're more than eager to catch up with the rest of the world and stand tall! I promise you, you'll do just fine around here, you just need some time to adjust and breathe the air, and you're free to take all the time you need, we've got plenty of that here. So, even if you stumble or fumble some steps, I've got your back!" Billy shined a bright smile on Freddy, who seemed at a loss for a brief moment.

Before Billy could be concerned about the silence, however, Freddy reached a hand out to the boy. Freddy had his doubts and worries about Fawcett, and his place in this town, but after hearing Billy speak so easily to him without any problem, he felt a little stronger.

Freddy felt...calmer.

"Well, if you say so, Billy," Freddy sighed out, grinning. "I'll take your word that Fawcett rocks and I'll take a chance on being here. I can tell already that you're gonna be a great friend!" The two kids shook hands, feeling a strong bond forming between them. Maybe they'd be good friends for a long time. "But, I doubt I'm ever going to stumble or fumble like you said. I've got the best pair of running legs a baseball field has ever seen!"

"Let's put that to the test then, Freeman! Finish your shake in a quick second and I'll take you over to the local baseball field here. The one over by Sherman Street is great for games!"

"Don't gotta tell me twice, Batson!" Freddy shouted excitedly in response. The change in mood seemed to do him some good.

The two boys then chugged their milkshakes like a couple of starving raccoons, sprinting out the door as soon as Billy paid their bill.

Had the boys left a few seconds later, they would have heard the breaking news alert on the radio, alerting the public to Dr. Sivana's recent escape.

~Jonathan really wishes he could take away your pain, make the illness stop,

~but he can't do that, so he has to settle for making your state more endurable,

~If your arthritis is bad to the point you can't work,

~Jonny really tries to secure both of you financially,

~if we're talking about Jonny that still works at the university,

~then he thinks of how to get more income, mostly considering one on one tutoring,

~as well as asking for a raise or doing some scientific research on the side,

~If we're talking about post Scarecrow Jonathan, then he's finding different ways of getting the needed money or medication,

~mostly robberies and raiding hospitals for the medical treatment you require,

~And if you really can't work and you depend on other people,

~then Jon's really trying his best to balance out work and assisting you,

~Jonathan is also really supportive, trying his best to accommodate to your needs,

~So, he fully supports you seeing a physiotherapist to ease up your pain,

~he even accompanies you to all appointments to know what specific exercises can help you,

~and he makes sure to help you proceed with them,

~But if you don't want to go to physiotherapy,

~then Jonathan is content on helping you find exercises or some easy sports that can help you with your rheumatism,

~And while Jonathan isn't that much of a sports guy, he'll gladly accompany you during said sports,

~Also, if you're having a flare up, an especially bad day,

~Jonny tries his best to help the pain be more tolerable,

~which means lots of massages,

~Jonathan buys some relieving creams and oils,

~and he gives you long massages,

~But if your flare up is really bad and you can't even stand being touched from how in much pain your joints are,

~then Jonathan runs you a warm bath in hopes of easing up your pain,

~and he also always makes sure you've got enough of medication and painkillers supplies,

~Also, if your pain gets so bad to the point you can't sleep at night,

~Jonathan stays up with you,

~and that goes even for when Jonny is a professor/psychologist,

~he stays up with you even if he's got work the next day,

~Jonny also gets the most frustrated at these times,

~because he can't really help you,

~and all he can do is sit in the living room with you, drink some coffee/tea, watch tv and hold you,

~he really just can keep you company and let you know you're not on your own in this,

~At times Jonny even thinks of creating some pain-relieving toxin,

~something to drug you a little and make you forget the pain,

~but he knows that'd be a bit too risky,

~and he doesn't want to risk your well-being, especially not when you're already suffering,

~And so, he sticks with the traditional ways of helping and supporting you,

~Also, if you have to use injections as means of treatment, and you don't have the guts to do it on your own,

~then you can definitely count on Jonathan giving you the shots,

~and he's really careful and gentle,

~not even once did you get bruises after the injections with Jonny,

~And he always caresses the skin after the shots, <3

~And I'm not sure if I should say it but...

~if you're afraid of needles, Jonathan does kind of like how you tense up and your heart races when it's time for the injection...

~but he does shush you eventually, after getting his fill of fear,

~he then eases your mind, and he makes sure you're not as tense since getting shots is more painful if you're all tense,

~Also, a thing Jonathan started doing is kissing your aching parts,

~especially wrists and fingers,

~and those kisses happen especially when you're having a good day,

~For example your pain isn't as severe one day, so you make dinner for you and Jonathan?

~He comes home and is ecstatic!

~And he gently takes your dominant hand, and he kisses your fingers, knuckles and wrist,

~and he praises you so much,

~he praises you for how well you've handled that day, and how strong you are, and how happy you make him, <3

~He's really gentle with you, he doesn't have the heart to be grumpy with you,

~you're really bring so much light into his life, he's so soft for you, <3

~Now, Harley is a sensitive girl,

~and seeing her lover in never ending cycle of pain,

~that is the greatest torture imaginable for her,

~While she's a great supporter, sweet, positive and upbeat,

~your flare ups really are soul crushing for Harley,

~because she knows she can't really make the pain stop, not now, not ever,

~But! That makes her twice as set on bringing joy into your life!

~If you can't really work because of your rheumatism, no worries,

~Harley isn't really tight on money,

~I mean, she doesn't really need to spend money on medication and stuff cuz...

~she is a criminal... she... she can steal all that is needed,

~And since Harley isn't all that busy with work after abandoning her position as a psychiatrist,

~she's basically free to accommodate to your needs anytime!

~Though yes, Joker needs her here and there,

~but he no longer requires Harley as his 24/7 sidekick after Harley made it clear who's her main priority,

~and yes, Joker isn't too happy about it cuz he used to have Harley wrapped around his finger before she started dating you,

~but they still share a strong connection, and Joker is capable of understanding that you need Harley's assistance more than he does,

~Joker even sometimes sends his best regards when Harley's returning home to you,

~Also, whenever Harley is free to be home with you and is able to care for you,

~she takes her responsibilities very seriously and she goes all out,

~And I mean it,

~she's even gotten herself a nurse costume for whenever she's caring for you,

~and she kind of roleplays as a nurse from time to time,

~Harley always makes sure you do take it,

~Harley will gladly do those for you!

~She's really careful, and oh so sweet about it,

~if you're having a bad flare up and can't really cook or do any chores around the house,

~you don't have to worry, because Harley will gladly do those,

~she'll take care of everything if you need,

~But she won't hold you back if you really want to do something around the house,

~then she'll be your cheerleader, she'll hype you up and support you through the whole thing,

~she'll cheer for you, tell you how strong and amazing you are,

~she'll squeeze you in a hug, she'll shower your face in kisses while praising you,

~but she'll also remind you to take breaks to not overdo it,

~And even if you do the bare minimum during a bad day,

~Harley will celebrate your accomplishments with great joy,

~she wants you to know that you're not any less just because you can't do much because of your pain,

~and she really likes to assure you that you are enough and you're doing enough,

~During those nights when your pain is so bad to the point you can't sleep,

~Harley usually sits down on the couch in the living room, and has you lay your head in her lap while she plays with your hair,

~and she often just talks about anything that comes to mind,

~or if you don't feel like talking,

~then Harley lets you pick a show to watch,

~and you watch it together until you fall asleep or until morning comes,

~But if that's not enough, Harley also gladly gets into a warm bath with you,

~and she lets your body soak in the warmth while she massages your aching joints,

~Also about Harley wanting to keep you happy,

~she constantly comes up with silly ideas to get you to smile,

~especially during flare ups,

~and during your flare ups, Harley really is up for your every beck and call,

~you don't have to move an aching finger,

~she'll even spoon feed you if you so needed,

~and she'll always make sure you never run out of painkillers,

~She really just wants to make your condition more endurable,

~she really tries her best because she really adores you, <3
