- Mortal Combat

- Explicitly the old arcade cabinet version.

- He sometimes copies moves from the games.

- Claims it's good for improving instincts.

Dick

- Tony Hawk's Pro Skater

- Played all of the Pro Skater games as they came out.

- The sort of person to try and launch themselves halfway across the map.

- Tried to get Tim to show him how to skate, didn't go well (he broke his nose trying to do a trick).

- Despite being an accomplished acrobat, it hasn't transferred well to doing skateboard tricks.

Jason

- The sort of guy to play Doom Eternal and Animal Crossing religiously.

- He will be sitting on the sofa, with unbridled rage on his face while he stares at a switch. Everyone thinks he's struggling with a stage in Doom (it was Animal Crossing, Tom Nook can go fuck himself).

- Has dipped from patrol before cause he realises it was a Sunday and had to sell his turnips before midnight (he will not change the time, that's cheating).

Tim

- Portal 1 and 2

- The puzzles aren't exactly difficult for him, especially after he's completed the game so many times, so now he speedruns the game, seeing what he can exploit.

- Constantly switching between no. 1 and 2 on the leaderboards (the other person he's switching with is actually the Riddler, he was allowed 1 video game in Arkham).

- Managed to rig up controls so he can play multiplayer by himself.

Damian

- Has no such time for childish wastes of time!

- How dare you assume he would sully his mind with such trivial acts!

- I mean really, he spends his time pursuing actually meaningful stimulation such as reading or research.

- It's Pokémon.

- He wanted to play Doom after seeing Jason play it, but he's like 12.

- He has played every single Pokémon game and knows all the meta.

- He has qualms with the idea of animal fighting, but Dick told him that Pokémon like to fight, like how dogs and cats will play fight.

Barbara

- Any of those CCTV horror games.

- Since her work as Oracle, these games are a piece of cake, so she plays them while doing other stuff, just in the background.

- She has completed Fnaf UCN 50/20 mode multiple times now, sometimes while monitoring the Bats in patrol.

Stephanie

- Sims

- She has made all the family and the rogues in the Sims.

- She has made Bruce and Clark 'woohoo' multiple times.

- When someone pisses her off, she will torture them in the Sims and send footage to the group chat.

- Tim has been locked in a 1x1 room for 3 weeks now (he still doesn't know what he did) (he didn't bring her anything from Batburger when he went).

Cassandra

- Story-based games like What Remains of Edith Finch and Life is Strange.

- Any competitive game is out of the questions as it's too easy to read her component. She has beaten Bruce at MK soooo many times.

- Like these games cause she finds it half way between reading a book and watching a soap-opera at times.

- Doesn't need to "be the best" as there isn't a goal, so she can just relax and enjoy herself.

- Also likes playing DDR with Duke.

Duke

- Beatsaber

- In training for We Are Robin, he used several rhythm games to improve his reaction time as it's a good way to practice without actually getting into danger.

- Absolutely dominates at DDR with the Batfam, like him and Cass will be at an arcade and it'll be like one of those scenes from a movie where they switch sides, do tricks, and are so in sync, it's insane.

- Beatsaber is fun cause he will project it in front of him as well to physically hit the blocks. He needs VR when he can just make it exist.

- The others swear he uses his powers to cheat at it cause he's so much better than the rest of them (he does on occasion when one of them annoys him).

Alfred

- Master Bruce, I do not have time to play video games and have no such interest. These things are for the younger generation anyway.

this is part 1 of my emily headcanons, because she’s my angel and yet I never gush about her on here (smallest piece of angst somewhere in the mix but it’s like a: “must’ve been the wind” sort of thing.)

Emily isn’t exactly the biggest animal lover. She doesn’t like being around dogs (Sam’s dog likes to chase her when she’s comes over. Now she demands it gets put outside when she visits.), and cats are more tame (Ashley’s cat falls asleep in her lap, and she awkwardly pets it) but she wouldn’t want one as a pet. She does, however, have a soft spot for rabbits.

HATES losing. The sorest loser you’ll ever meet. Falling second place is enough to make her go crazy. It doesn’t even have to be anything academic or sporty. Losing to someone in a game can also ruin her day.

Being a mathlete, she sticks out like a sore thumb when grouped together with the other mathletes because most of them are on the geekier side. But despite her sour attitude, she’s managed to befriend a handful of them.

Even when she and Jessica were friends, she always felt like she had to be better than her in some way. Jessica being more out there and popular because of her brash and extroverted attitude, Emily felt as if she couldn’t keep up. While everyone was drooling over Miss Homecoming Queen, it was always a hit or miss with how people felt about Emily. It was always “she’s too bitchy” or “she’s okay”, no in between.

When Emily started dating Matt, she put on this flirty, suggestive persona just in case there was a chance of him leaving her for the same reason Mike dumped her. Being “too frigid”. However, Emily is still insecure about her performance in the bedroom due to Mike making it pretty clear she wasn’t his best experience.

Emily can be a bit bitter, but she’s never been all that serious. The smallest things are enough to tickle her, including her own jokes.

When around adults or authority figures, Emily is a completely different person. Very respectful and and well mannered. The first time she visit Ashley’s house, she went from ranting to Ashley outside the door, to having a polite conversation with Ashley’s mother in the living room.

Emily did in fact feel guilty for the prank they pulled on Hannah, and had zero intentions on going back up to the lodge. After a talk with Matt and thinking about how much it probably meant to Josh, she caved in.

Emily realized her eyesight was getting a tiny bit bad when she was only two seats away from the board and still couldn’t exactly make out what it said. If then became concerning when she was beginning to have a hard time reading up close, Sam told her she was going to have to get glasses sooner or later, but Em kept putting it off because she felt glasses would make her look dorky. She secretly ordered some online, and the prescription glasses were a little chunky and thick. She only wears them in the comfort of her own home.

She actually loves giving gifts on special occasions. And she’s loaded so her gifts usually aren’t that casual. She likes spending money on her friends to see their faces when they open up whatever she got them.

She doesn’t exactly have a fear of roller coasters or rides, they just make her sick every single time. And if you’re not fast enough, or you’re unlucky enough (like Chris), you’ll end up in the spray zone. 

She topped Chris’s high score in DDR.

Emily got stuck in an art class as an elective. She hated every minute of it and she’s great at everything, but her art skills, not so much..

Ironically, Emily can be one of the most sensitive people you’ll ever meet.

She loves teasing and messing with her friends, but when it’s done back to her, she’s thrown off completely.

Was brainstorming dancing headcanons and this is what I got so far

- with Luther it’s stiff ballroom dances only, Vienna waltz being his favorite. he’s kind of rigid as a leader and doesn’t communicate when he wants to change steps well. takes care to never step on your feet though.

he wants to make the moment special by wearing something "extra special and cute" (like an 80s pastel shiny suit + ruffled shirt + bow tie) and will pick an outfit for you as well. looking the part is at least as important to him as the dancing itself

- Nyon doesn’t know how to dance with a partner. the most he can do is twirl you.

used to be decent at DDR before somebody in the household broke the pad

- Nyen won’t dance in front anybody. if you ask him depending on his mood he’ll threaten you or make you dance for him and put on a show (and it better be good)

- Sebastian has zero experience aside from standing on his parents shoes while holding their hands when he was little. the most you’ll get out of him is a not quite prom type dance where you place your hands behind his neck and shuffle side to side. even then his hands will only hover over your sides and it’s awkward as all hell for everybody in the room. also he has two left feet and just steps on yours constantly

- Randal’s idea of dancing with you is either something weird and unsettling (like wanting to tie strings to your joints while he puppeteers from above) or pressuring you into doing a dance from an anime. If it’s during a dream he’ll get the whole school involved and stage half an anime arc

The phone number has a automated response and we have to wait until today to see what it’s about. (We also accidentally called Martyn RQ by breaking the phone number)

Via the OIAR you can acces a guy named Colin, Colin seems very done with his job lol. He even send us a email back after we emailed him on how we shouldn’t spam him “zero regards.”

This ip leads to a German emailing group (accessed through thunderbird) which is for people who survived the DDR (east Germany.) the emails main mod, Sandman eventually closed down the group and generally seems tired with everyone (fair enough.) the main problem guy is Einsamenarr, a conspiracy theorist who eventually goes off the rails in 2001 and finds ‘something’ only to disappear after sending a few concerning emails.

There is also a tumblr acount called strange haunts UK which shows off abandoned places in uk. Including this universe’s magnus institute. But also a theme park called bonzo land. Bonzo has enthralled the entire current fanbase.

We have also not been able to open a single doccument (Dokumente7) for I think 4 days now:,) please pray for the code breakers.

i’m really fascinated by photos of the DDR NVA, militias, and other militarized groups from before strichmuster was standardized between ‘65-‘68 because i’ve seen absolutely zero literature on or surplus pieces of the older uniforms. if i had to put forward a hypothesis, i’d say with the state of the DDR’s industrial capacity post war, a lot of the early uniforms were contracted on a more local, less centralized basis, augmented with various Soviet pieces, which could explain the apparent lack of strict standardization. these photos showcase a few conspicuous pieces i found intriguing:

in the famous photo of a DDR border guard throwing a ball back to children on the other side of the wall, he’s wearing a really cool and unique telogreika style uniform I’ve never seen before. the stitching runs in a quilt-esque diamond pattern, distinct from the vertical lines of the Soviet GOST ‘68 model, and has a more sporting collar

the 2nd photo is hard to decipher because it was taken in motion, but the guy appears to be wearing Soviet MKK amoebic camo; it’s probably a one piece jumpsuit but it might be a smock and matching pants

the two guarding the bust of Stalin look to be wearing civilian garb but both their outfits rock. shoutout to the person on the left because i can’t tell if they’re a woman or a 1947 faggot

germans simply cannot resist formal grey uniforms. i get why the older versions were replaced, but the grey dress uniforms of the 70s and 80s still resembled Wehrmacht garb enough they they should’ve just stuck with the more robust wool

i love the maciejowka (idk the name in german) hats in these parade uniforms. they harken back to the the sophisticated yet throughly proletarian garb of socialists in the early 20th century, like Lenin and Thälmann. in another timeline, they would’ve made a very cool and idiosyncratic alternative to the feldmütze caps and pilotki inherited from german and soviet tradition, respectively, but i can see why they wouldn’t be as practical for military affairs
