This was inspired by Ghoap in an SCP universe! It's such an awesome idea like- whaa-. Thank you so much for the commission @dexterlittle! their cool ideas was the fuel for this drawing and I loved making both of their clothes and that close up idea for their face is just 🤌✨

I made three versions however I just want to keep it simple and let dexterlittle show the most appropriate versions for themselves since they will be coloring it~

Hello Ghoap Community! And CODMW as well!

I am currently working on something HOT for the community! As in something you'll be able to use on tumblr, in discord, on telegram etc !

I was thinking of selling the bundle on my Ko-Fi at first but then everyone would just save and use them from those who would've spent money.

SO. It will be free! Ill only charge a little fee for extra characters (I currently have 7) as it will be extra time for research if I dont know that particular one and to try drawing them correctly.

I'll even accept OCs and characters from other games/movies/etc for a small fee.

And by small fee I mean 5$ or less. Still thinking about it. Once I reveal the project (Just need to colour the bois!), Ill add the commission info for other characters on my Ko-Fi page!

So considering all this and the time Im putting into it, it would make me very happy if some of you would consider tipping me/become a member and sharing my Ko-Fi (and this post) within the community!

Im a small disabled artist who cannot work so this would help me a lot. Especially since I need a new tablet to keep working on nice art! (My current one is borrowed, and completely full, making programs crash quite often, loosing progress whenever it happens)

Commission - Coloring Services?

Considering opening up commissions which would include coloring services! Im not the greatest but I do have fun doing so! It would probably be a low starting price and a ‘’pay what you want/what you think its worth’’ to see what people think I should charge. Im not used to get commissions so it’ll be mostly a test in a way. I cant draw everything obviously but I am happy to at least try! Even if I am canadian, prices will be in USD. Let me know if you’d be interested! Or at least interested in seeing more of my art as references of course! I do plan on making a sheet but I want to see if there is some interest first! Until then feel free to send me asks/art requests as it will help me improve and show my skills ’’Why open commissions if youre just going to take free art requests?’’ I see commissions as a way to have something more custom/unique to the person. Which can include their OCs, which I cant do in art requests. Art requests will mostly turn around Ghoap (or other ships/characters that I know) or things about myself if it’s an Ask. Or something I don’t need much references for since it’ll be quick pieces. (As quick as my painful wrist will let me!) As for coloring services: I will color only YOUR art or art you commissioned. Or a friend’s art. I do not want to color a random piece you found on the internet please! If you’re able to show me proof that you have the artist’s consent to have someone else color it, then yeah that’s fine! I want to have fun coloring without focusing on my own art (and seeing flaws), not get in trouble with the artist ahah Until I post more art here from before I joined tumblr, I will provide them in DMs if you’re interested ! Comics?

Hi Ghoap people! And shippers from the COD universe! I see comics are popular (Im also a sucker for those so dont worry!)

And I was wondering: What are the bare minimums for you to enjoy a comic? You see, I never really worked on a comic. I tried years ago for a project of some sort in my local area but never got anywhere. I always struggled with my art, perfection, proportion etc I put a lot of pressure on myself and projects a lot and either i dont do much effort or I do WAY too much and it burns me out. I get overwhelmed and it’s not fun. I am always feeling some imaginary pressure from others as I often got judged in the past and got my things examined closely and it started to get me paranoid and make me feel not good enough. Thats why I never published art before I joined Ghoap in over ten years or so. Im also terrified of art thieves and even more of all that AI shit going around. I want to be credited and known for my art, not be forgotten while my art keeps being reposted you know? SO if I were to make a comic (at least try) and tell a story, what are the bare minimums requirements? I see some comics have amazing art and I know I can’t deliver that. But I do see diversity of style from the 1Farm1 AU from Grimmzee to the Monster 141 AU from Bluegiragi to the CoffeeShop AU from Blueishfishfood and many more I’ve seen here and there. Some have backgrounds, some dont and some have simple elements. Some have amazing details and shading, some have basic shadings etc But what they all have in common is: getting proportions quite good if not excellent. And amazing angles instead of the basic standing/sitting. And all those nice facial expression that makes it nice to read what the character might feel. Especially the eyes for characters such as Ghost or Roach. Aaaand I know colors don’t matter. So at least there’s that. So what are the minimum requirements? I don’t expect doing amazing fight scenes like the Monster AU, I am clearly not that talented ahah but I know that it’s more interesting to have… something more than standing characters all the time. So please in the comments, let me know? Show me exemples? Doesnt have to be COD related but just comics from people around the internet who do it for fun and not professionals working for DC Comics for example ahah I just want to tell stories so badly but I know that writing is… a lot for me. Too much even. I’ll keep trying… but it’s complicated for now. And I know that comics are a great way to see your art get better with time! Lots of mangaka got better the more time passed so.. Why not me? Oh also another comic I’ve been following for years is A Tales of Two Rulers by Figmentforms And THAT is something I can never achieve. Ko-Fi?

I don’t have much clout and followers and I clearly didn’t make a name here/in the Ghoap fandom yet but… I’m thinking of getting a Ko-Fi account. I am disabled which means I cannot work. I draw (and now write) for the fun and now for the fandom. Should I open one? Are there downsides to getting an account without clout/big following? Anon again. I am Choctaw indigenous. I feel it is important for other indigenous tribes to defend and support other tribes esp now. But to question that and use that as the reason for not listening at the possibility of me being non native is also a huge problem….?

See? It can be hard to know who is or isnt for a community especially online.

I will take it mor seriously now that I know you are not speaking for another community. There are just so many voices out there and so many opinions even within a community/group of people that it is very overwhelming and hard to be certain on certain topics.

As I said, I am open to learning and adapt but this is not something I personally did and feel a bit corned for simply sharing someone's art. I did not write the name of that OC in my reblog if I remember correctly exactly for that reason among other reasons. I will not censor someone's text as well. Or their tags.

I do not have the energy to keep going with this conversation especially since I am not the one who did something wrong. I feel a bit attacked (no matter if it was your goal or not) and so I will ignore any other messages on this topic. My mental health comes first and I must respect myself in this.

Just know that I am on your side and am only human. I hate when I see movies and such using culture's myths and stories without listening to the people. I usually avoid watching those as well if I am aware. And do my best to spread that information whenever I can.

But for now, in this case, I'm exhausted and innocent and want to be left alone and hope you will respect this. I really hope for the day this wont be an issue anymore, I do, But I dont think Ill witness it.

The term “w*nd*go” is a word derived from the indigenous Algonquin tribe of America that manifests pain, illness and death. Specifically the act of cannibalism and it’s really racist and racially insensitive to use the word without censoring it and stealing terms from indigenous tribes. I know it’s not your oc, you merely reblogged it, but it’s important to be aware of how using that term, indigenous or not, is dangerous. And using it as a non indigenous person is insensitive

It is indeed not my OC and I do know about it and to not use it. Im not a fan of the OC's name. I dont know if the artist isnt indigenous but I do know I shouldn't censor someone's OC name. They might be indigenous themselves. Also the OC's name makes sense with it's background. Maybe the OC didn't pick that nickname and someone else gave them that callsign as it is often the case in the army.

I appreciate your time to educate me but I already knew this. But I dont think I should censor that word in this context. I also believe that unless an indigenous person personally tells me that I should still censor it after being further educated on it, I shouldn't have to. Not that your concern isn't valid but too often people outside of a community will speak for and over them, often adding too much voices in a conversation and making it overwhelming for someone like me, neurodivergent and quite anxious about doing/saying the wrong thing, to find the actual point of view of said community.

I also believe that we shouldn't censor everything and every word that could be harmful, making it even more taboo, as it demonize that word even more and in my opinion makes it harder to have a conversation about it and as to why this word is wrong.

There is a time, place and context to take in consideration. I have a bigger problem with horror movies and TV shows creating monsters/killers based on and named after such indigenous creatures they asked us plenty of time not to use them for multiple reasons than someone making an OC with that name as a callsign that fits with their background/lore.

Also considering this isnt my OC, nor a friend of mine's OC, you could've messaged the artist instead of people who just want to share OCs and art on tumblr.

Again I appreciate that you just want to educate and help. But I am overwhelmed with all the Dos and Donts for many communities to the point of making me very sick and anxious. So I pick my battles to stay mentally sane and this isn't one of them. I'll instead keep spreading words about the injustice and pain the indigenous people are still suffering from today and spread the truth about how my country, Canada, treated them, my ancestors and their descendants still to this day which includes one of my good friend trying to get her culture back and embrace it.

Just to be sure since it is hard to read tone and intentions: You're all good. I am not angry. I am just very anxious at the moment and constantly fighting Intrusive Thoughts calling me Racist almost everyday due to my fear of hurting people with microaggression or saying the wrong thing. Intrusive Thoughts trying to convince me people will think I am a bad person and racist when I know I am not and have a lot to learn to be a better friend, ally and person.

My DMs are open if you want to chat privately on such subjects but know I have little energy per day for such conversations as it gets heavy fast for me and need to recharge.

New iPad - It’s Now Urgent

Hello everyone! It’s now urgent as title says. I need a new tablet ASAP.

I have some commissions that needs to be done before spring FOR spring but because my (borrowed) iPad is too full, I cannot access the files or open them in procreate to continue my work. I have been deleting so much in the past months but there isn’t much left but procreate itself and the needed assets installed like brushes. I can’t even download images or upload some on Google Drive anymore.

This is after my most recent clean up and it never stays like this for long… Medibang has the files for my most recent and urgent commission and I can’t even keep it on my iPad.

I NEED a new iPad yesterday.

I hate asking for donations and for help but at this point I can’t do much at all. Not even personal projects as I can’t get what I need to do so then post it, backing it up on GDrive.

This is for work, it’ll be just for art and animation and working on commissions. Not a toy like a new game console. For literal work. As far as I know, I cannot pay per month due to my disabled and unemployed situation. (I will still do more research and check my local stores but I dont have much hope)

I was trying to save for one but with some… personal family issues, my money went elsewhere to travel and eat while away from home. And considering that in Canadian dollars the iPad+Pen alone (no protection or else) comes to more than 1000$ and this is what I receive each month… I can’t just buy one. As for my credit card well, it’s way above my limit.

For whoever helps me raise money and wants a commission will be at the top of my list once I can work and make art again. I’ll prioritize them for sure!
