— Choosing Villagers —
As always I recommend choosing at least one villager from every personality type (there's 8 total) and pick any of your remaining favourites for your remaining two - making 10 villagers in all! The reason for this is your villagers will teach you random reactions based on their personality list or send you items according to certain types or styles. So without have a diverse island, you could be missing out on cool new stuff!
Finding specific villagers can be hard, but here are a few ways to find them if you have an open slot or a villager moving out!

Always check who's in your campsite when you have it unlocked. You never know who's going to pay you a visit and it could be someone you never thought of or met before! Or maybe someone you really want!
If you're able to get some nook miles tickets (NMT) - use them to explore new islands! If you have an open plot you have a 100% chance of finding a random villager there! Even if you don't like the villager you find, don't forget to look around that island for some resources - chop those trees for wood, collect those seashells, hit the rocks for clay and iron, and dig up the flowers or fruit trees (by eating a piece of fruit) so you can plant them on your own island! If you're lucky enough to get a bamboo island, I also recommend chopping bamboo or digging up the shoots. These come in handy for some DIY recipes!

If you have amiibo cards of a villager you want - head into your resident services building and scan it using the ABD to your right by using your right joystick. This only works if someone isn't already in your campsite - so be careful! If you scan them in on three different days and do the tasks they ask of you, you can talk to them about moving in! Even if your island is full, you are able to ask a villager to move out to make room. Kind of a rude eviction, but they'll find an island that's their forever home!

If you aren't afraid of chatting up a few strangers and trading things in-game like bells, items, other villagers (if they are in boxes - or in the process of moving out!) or NMT I recommend sites like Nookazon or even Discord Servers or groups dedicated to all things Animal Crossing. These places are a great way to find someone who can help you get that villager you want! They'll simply invite you to their island after you agree on a fair trade. You'll bring whatever they asked of you to their island and drop it on the ground for them. Afterwards, they will direct you to the villager's house who you can go in and ask if they'd like to move to your island!

A reminder that not everything works great as an emoji. Some of them work better as Discord stickers!
Here's an example. The small one is an emoji because Discord emojis are absolutely tiny and sad.
Adding them as an emoji works better for things like faces. But for things that are bigger or have words, stickers are way better.

Well. That's a whole damn idea.
I usually just throw links in my chat with either of my partners, depending on which one I think might be interested (or with the tag linkparking: if not), but this would also be useful.
legitimate fucking lifehack: discord server literally just for yourself to keep track of stuff over devices. links. reminders and checklists. all neatly divided into categories. search function and dates. why didnt i do this earlier oh my god.

Couple of tips regarding recent Discord updates :)
If you want to disable the new Reaction Notifications, simply go to Discord's User Settings -> Notifications. This setting is there on both Desktop App, Desktop Web, & Mobile App versions. If you can't see the setting, either try full refreshing Discord, or check for updates!
---
Also, if you use Discord's Desktop App or Desktop Web versions and want to hide that new "Play Again" section above the DMs list, just right-click in that area!
#discord#discord app#discordapp#discord tips#discord tricks#discord settings#discord updates#zebby tries to be helpful#tbh these are VERY easy to find and I'm surprise people aren't even trying to right-clicking that Play Again area just in case#and come on - reaction notifications? it's obvious to at least CHECK notification settings for those#smh discordapp subreddit#anyways enough ranting at discordapp subreddit in these tags#😅

I have a bad habit of never finishing writing I start - I work hard on a story, make it to 3/4 of the way through, then lose passion for it and start something else. I know the key to overcoming this is discipline, and I’m trying very hard to make myself keep going with my current story that I like very much and spent so much time researching and outlining, but it’s a struggle every day to make my writing goal. Any advice for how to re-ignite writing spark or how to push through to the end?
We can lose our drive to write for a lot of reasons. It often indicates a growing maturity as an artist — you understand the craft better and your own (current) limitations better, and so you begin to feel overwhelmed in a way you didn’t before. It can also be that external anxieties are getting in the way or simply that you’ve lost interest in your current project.
Hope is not lost. Read on for some tips on reclaiming your writing spark.
Shift gears
Sometimes, all you need to reignite your writing spark is to engage your brain in a different way. If you’re struggling with your novel, take a break and try writing a poem or a piece of flash fiction. Or, you could try drawing sketches of your characters, a map of your story’s world, or some possible outfits for your climactic battle scene (it doesn’t have to be good. No one’s going to see it).
The trick is to stay creative but to approach your work from a different angle.
Change location
If you’ve been trying and failing to write at your desk, surrounded by crumpled up dreams drafts and last week’s candy wrappers, you may be suffering from an environment with stagnant energy. Try taking yourself on a writer’s date: go to a location that fits the tone of the project you’re working on (lux hotel lobby, seedy theatre bar, the wilds of a nearby park), and see if that gets your creative wheels turning.
Dress [in]appropriately
In Writing Down the Bones, Natalie Goldberg has a chapter called “Blue Lipstick and a Cigarette Hanging Out Your Mouth”. By this she meant, “Use outfits and props to step outside yourself and get a new perspective”. You might find it helpful to have a special “writer’s sweater” that you only wear when you’re writing or to dress like someone confident and cool enough to smash writer’s block in the face.
Do some soul-searching
What’s really going on here? If the above tricks aren’t doing it for you, there may be some bigger issues at play that are inhibiting you from connecting to your writing spark.
Write letters
I’ve written about the restorative powers of letter writing before, and I’ll mention it again: handwritten letters are a great way to get the words flowing. You don’t actually have to send them when you’re done (although you can if you want to); the recipient doesn’t even need to exist. Simply by putting your thoughts down in a low-risk way, you’re unclogging your creative pipes.
Join a writing group
There’s power and accountability in numbers. You can find writing groups online, through community centres and writers centres, or by sticking a flyer up in a bookshop and starting your own. There’s even a Novlr writing community on Discord where we share tips, struggles, and just generally talk craft! By inviting other people into your writing practice, you’ll have some support and encouragement to keep you going.
Find your writing spark with writing prompts
The internet is awash with writing prompts. These can be a helpful way to get something down on paper and stretch out your writing muscles. Whether it’s a premise, an opening line, or a character study, writing prompts can give you a gentle, creative push and even inspire new work.
Experiment with found structure
If writing a traditional story feels like pulling out your own teeth, try a found structure story. This means using fictional “found material” like shopping lists, calendars, to-do lists, ticket stubs, banking records, and so forth to create a narrative.
Here’s an example: Imagine a week in which a bride-to-be prepares for her glorious wedding, is left at the altar, rages in misery, and ultimately emerges healthier and stronger. Now, write her shopping list for each day of that week. How does it change from beginning to end? How much emotional detail can you communicate to the reader through the items that appear on these lists? This can be a fun way to create a story without the anxiety of writing it.
Set a petty life goal
I am a proud champion of the value of pettiness as a motivator. There are plenty of noble reasons to write: to share powerful stories, to help readers in need of healing, to inspire others to write stories themselves, and to draw attention to important social issues or minority identities.
There are also some really inane and selfish reasons to write: to become more famous than your ex, to appear on TV and make your ex regret everything they’ve ever done to you, to have your book made into a movie and receive casting consultation rights and pitch your favourite actor in the lead role and allow them to take you for coffee as a thank you. But the thing is… these are the motivations that are really going to pull you out of the dirt when you need it most. Find the silly driving goal that really gets under your skin and hold onto it for dear life.
Forgive yourself
Many writers experience a lot of shame when they aren’t writing as much as they feel they should. Needless to say, this shame only makes the writing harder. Allow yourself the space to take some time when you need it, process your struggles, and return when you’re ready. The page will be waiting when you get back.

Trick or treat!!!! Perhaps!!!! :]
You Get! Extinct unicorns as a prehistoric superfamily of ungulate mammals. A recent recent scientific breakthrough about their horns has forced paleoartists to revisit long-held beliefs about their anatomy
The long horn on the unicorn's forehead was neither exposed bone, nor covered by a keratin sheath. Instead, the horn was coated in soft fur, with tendons running up the front and connecting to the back at the horn tip. These tendons allowed the unicorn to flex the skin on the backside of the horn, which raised or lowered a crest of long, stiff hairs. It is theorized (due to differences in tendon connection points) that bucks sported large crests, while does had little to none. Both sexes still sported fuzzy, skin-covered horns, however.
This new school of thought must now be applied to all or most of the unicorn species known to paleoscience, unless an exception is found to support bare bones or keratin sheaths.
The smallest species have been reconstructed with the largest crests, able to stretch them upward or pin them flat at will.
As science advances, we are able to guess more fascinating and complex details of extinct species. It is a wonderful thing to better understand extinct fauna, even if goes against popular interpretations. protesting will not change how these creatures courted, fought, and lived!

Introducing: Chimera Hearts!
A Network for People Who Care about RPGs
Way back in February, I made This Post (inspired by This One) talking about some of the issues facing the RPG hobby and industry, and calling some of my peers to action to see what we could do about it. Originally, the goal was to hold a discussion with speakers & debate, taking the lessons we learned from each other back out into the world. After a week or so of incompatible schedules, we decided to expand the discussion. After a bit more back-and-forth, something kind of amazing happened.
With the incredible leadership of Daniel of The Copper Compendium, that same gaggle of folks has been putting together a discord server to act as the hub of what we hope will be a larger movement in RPGs. We call it Chimera Hearts – and we want you to join.
The Chimera Hearts server isn’t the heart of the movement – rather, it’s a hub for discussion & teamwork between disparate corners of the RPG world. A place to share tips and tricks – effective methods we’ve found to address the heads of the proverbial hydra, and a place to go when we’re looking for the solutions others have developed.
We also want Chimera Hearts to be a place where folks from across the industry can get together to build programs, initiatives, and infrastructure to cultivate the health & longevity of the industry.
There are already a couple of folks developing such programs; Aaron Voigt is putting together a mentorship program to give people the tools to start making their own RPG videos on Youtube! And I am currently in the middle of an experiment (which you can read about here), the goal of which is to figure out how to create a casual indie RPG audience in your city.
Chimera Hearts isn’t centralized; this isn’t a project built around a group of experts or authorities. The goal of the network is to connect people between otherwise disconnected subcommunities and give them the tools to start improving this industry in accessible, practical ways.
I’m blown away by how people responded to my call to action, and intimidated by the scope of motion that seems to have been set by it. It was by the dedication and expertise of Daniel, Aaron, and the rest of the folks working to put this together that Chimera Hearts exists, and I’m thrilled to be a part of it in any way. I hope you’ll join us and be a part of it, too.
Currently, the founding team of Chimera Hearts includes: @monsterfactoryfanfic; @thecoppercompendium; @in-case-of-grace; @theresattrpgforthat; @rowansender; @thefiresontheheight; @ladytabletop; @stoicheincat; and Julian, the Game Mistress of @tinytablepodcast!

Break Me Open
Mel x Reader
Mel doesn’t make many personal connections. She has everyone where she wants them, she lets them believe they’re closer than they are, if that what they wish, and she tells them what they want to know regarding her— but nothing compromising, nothing intimate. So when the secret, that’s not much of a secret at all, slips out, her smile drops. A humorless chuckle masks the embarrassment creeping up her spine, into her voice and spreading to her cheeks.
“I’m… Sorry, I don’t know why I said that.”
“You’re sorry you like grapes?” You try not to laugh.
When she turns, angling her body away from you as she takes a sip of her drink, you don’t let her escape and lean forward into her view. Your amusement had dropped the moment you realized she was teetering on the edge of becoming distressed.
“Have you had them with cheese?”
Mel slowly turns back to you with a quirked brow and look of disgust. You snort, then slap a hand over your mouth and mutter an apology. That’s when she realizes the second crack in her persona, the involuntary expression she hadn’t given herself permission to make. She tries to mend that too, she didn’t mean to be rude. This conversation— No, you were making her flustered. Very few had been successful when they tried and yet here you were, still talking about grapes and cheese instead of reaching into the hole you’ve made in her walls. She expected more, or perhaps, less from you; she thought you’d be asking for something now, exploiting her weakness and teaching her a lesson about vigilance.
“We could go to the kitchens?” You ask quickly, lips tugging into your own nervous smile, “I know it sounds odd but I promise it’s a strangely pleasant taste.”
An excuse is on the tip of her tongue. I’m tired, she could say, I think I’ll retire now.
“I’ll be disappointed if you’re tricking me.”
Her brows are pulled together in suspicion but her smile is playful. It works, and throws you off her scent of unease.
“I’d never do that to you, Mel.” You say earnestly.
You stand up straight with a beaming smile that warms her heart. Mel takes your arm when you offer it and leads the way, despite it being your mission.
“And just.. how did you come across this combination?” She asks.
With a laugh, you launch into a funny story that you’re all to happy to share with her. She’s partially listening, partly worried about the sudden awareness of how fond of you she is.

❛Stuck to the screen, your words repeating. ❜ ⸺ Kamo Choso

【⠀♱⠀】 AUTHOR’S NOTE. it’s the way i’m thinking about other things except piv sex, which is very exciting cause the shit got repetitive on my other acc. PLEASE EXCUSE ANY GRAMMAR MISTAKES.
People that claimed gaming was a perfect past time were either naive or just plain stupid. How could one find the competitive, and nerve wracking hobby peaceful? There was always something going wrong. Whether having an awful teammate,a a bad day, or even— something as silly as bad luck.
Personally you didn’t love video games. You had no plans of getting shouted at by grown men over a digital creation, which stats didn’t affect you in real life. But.. as your friends usually did, they lured you into gaming.
Quickly too, giving you tips and tricks to assure you didn’t drag the rest of them down. And as much as you hated to admit it, you actually enjoyed it. Clicking with the rest of your friends, especially a man around your age named Kamo Choso.
During group meet ups you and him spoke pleasantly on just about everything. Life, his siblings, shared music interest.. you two clicked deeper then you have with anyone else.
An innocent connection you felt were developing into feelings..
Manicured fingers slammed into the keyboard rested on the desk, whilst soft swears escaped your lips. You blinked at the bright screen, sighing heavily the moment defeat in bold red letters flashed across it.
“This is our fifth loss in a row..” You moaned in annoyance, leaning back in your chair; adjusting the black headset you wore carefully. A soft chuckle came from the other line, taking you away from your annoyed thoughts.
“You suck when you’re tired..”
“I’m not tired, Choso.” You countered quickly, rolling your eyes the moment another chuckle came from the man. You breathed softly, clicking off the game screen and switching over to discord. Your eyes traced the computer for a moment.
Choso and you were the only ones currently awake or rather currently in the voice chat, and have been for the past hour and thirty-minutes. You hadn’t meant to play this long, however you sometimes got carried away.
You heard shuffling on the other side of the headset, causing you to gently grab your mic. “Are you going to sleep?”
“Are you?” Choso asked in a soft hum.
Your lips twisted in uncertainty, thinking over your options. The two of you could play another round and risk losing for the sixth time— or maybe try another game.. and still lose. Either one didn’t seem like good choices, but, you didn’t want to get off the chat with Choso; just yet.
So, with a soft hum you shook your head before replying with a quick “No,” when you realized he couldn’t see.
The man gave a curt sound, one that was surely of confusion. “Then.. do you want to go another round?”
“No..” You sighed, rising from your chair to waltz over to your bed. You landed upon the cushiony mattress harshly, rolling onto your back and laying in a starfish position. “You should read me a bedtime story or something.”
“I thought you weren’t tired?”
You could practically hear the smirk in his words, causing your lips to twitch— attempting to force down a smile. You rolled to your side, closing your eyes. “I’m not,” You said defensively, adjusting yourself into a comfortable position on the bed. “—but I do need to go to sleep, and you have a soothing voice.”
For a moment you couldn’t hear a thing, only your own breathing— making you worry the voice chat had lagged out. But as quickly as those thoughts came they left even quicker, given the man was replying with a simple;
“Yeah?”
You smiled slowly, smoothing your cheek into the soft pillow. “Yeah..”
Choso paused for a moment before uttering, “Hm.. I’m sure you just have a voice kink.”
Your eyes opened wide at his statement, eyebrows pinched close as a warmth spread across you. Did.. did he just read you like a book? Was the single thought in your mind, causing you to slowly sit up to think it over.
And yet, he didn’t give you that moment, interjecting before you could even think to reply; “What, did I hit it right on the mark? I was only joking..”
You’ve talked to Choso many times to know when he was joking or not— plus you weren’t an idiot, he was being dead serious.
So, you slowly cleared your throat, scooting back to rest against your headboard. “No, what even makes you think that?” You questioned, lying straight through your teeth. You bit back a grin the moment you heard an airy chuckle, ignoring how such a sound caused shivers to dance down your spine.
“It’s obvious. Every single time I talk to you, you have this same look in your eyes.” He hummed into your ear, causing your eyes to flutter shut. “Always listening, far too intently.. Eyes focused completely on my voice rather then my words. No wonder you always say huh, whenever we speak.”
Read after read— Choso wasn’t giving you air to breathe with these completely correct accusations. It wasn’t enough you were physically attracted to the man, no; you had to be head over heels for his voice too.
You opened your mouth to speak, only for Choso to cut in;
“Deny it, and I won’t help you fall asleep tonight..”
Your eyebrows rose, teeth biting the inside of your cheek as you fiddled with your pajamas. “What, you’re gonna read me a story after all?”
“Nah, I was thinking of something else,” His breath was airy, and you swore you could hear the rustling of fabric.
Such a thought caused the heat to pool down to your belly, thighs pushing together as excitement began to sprout. “..Thinking of what?”
Instead of answering you the man gave a soft, “Lie on your back.”
That same heat swept over you, almost daring to question him again but deciding against it. Instead, you were quickly sliding to you lay on your back; hand spreading across the sliver of stomach exposed from your rising shirt.
“I’m.. on my back.” You spoke, nibbling on lip your as your fingers absentmindly traced patterns upon your skin. Your eyes fluttered shut, head rolling back onto the pillow as anticipation welled in your stomach.
“Take your pants off,” Choso spoke again, before quickly adding, “—just your pants.”
You didn’t know whether to continue to be excited or annoyed he was dragging the obvious out— yet, you obeyed, again. Your thumbs hooked onto the elastic of your bottoms, tugging them down your body and kicking them to the edge of your bed. You laid there half-bare, waiting so impatiently for his next request.
“Now.. touch yourself.”
Your eyebrows pinched close for a moment, adjusting your position as your legs rose. “Won’t I need to take my panties off?” You asked playfully, fingers sliding under the fabric for a moment before his curt response caused your hand to retract;
“I never said to take them off. I only said to touch yourself.”
You hissed softly, fiddling with the waistband of your undergarments for a split second. You could just push them down now.. there was no way he could tell, right? It was only voice chat.
But, for some stupid reason.. You decided to listen, hand slithering between your legs to slowly stroke your covered folds through the thin fabric. The motions continued as the pleasure set in, your legs widening and soft breaths escaping.
From the other side you could hear Choso’s breathing become shallow with even more rustling following. You could just imagine it; him on his back, hair a mess from laying down and the headset, whilst his strong hand was slowly stroking himself through his boxers.
You wondered if he was leaking already; how there might be a wet spot slowly forming, darkening the fabric. Such a thought had your thighs clenching, finger delicately finding your bud below your panties.
The action caused your head to tilt back, lips parting as an audible gasp escaped.
“Oh, you sound so pretty, princess. So, so pretty..”
You whined softly at his words, feeling far more aroused despite the covered pleasure. Your other hand rose to slink under your shirt, grabbing ahold of your breast to roll your thumb on your slowly erecting nipple. The pleasure was increasing by now, yet still not enough— causing your frustration to build.
“Choso, please..”
“What, what’s wrong?” His voice was taunting and low, clearly aware of what you were practically begging for. “Don’t tell me you wanna take your panties off already?.. So impatient, sweetheart.”
Choso’s words were going straight to your pussy, wetting up the lacey fabric even more. Your hips rose to meet your hand, “Choso, fuck.. Just please, I need to take them off.”
He thought it over for far too long, even humming just to irritate you further. Though, you also heard more rustling and his bed.
Fuck.. how you wished you could see what was happening right now.
“Take ‘em off.”
You didn’t need to be told twice, practically shoving off the garment as if they had personally offended you. You then wasted no time in spreading your legs wide, hand falling between them to slowly separate your damp folds. There, your middle finger reached out; swiping across your swelling bud for a split moment— before beginning small, tight circles on it.
With nothing left to restraint you, your sounds were more vocal now — airy and sweet— driving right into Choso’s awaiting ears. This caused the man to breathe heavily right into the mic, followed by the sounds of wetness.
A flush of warmth escaped as the pleasure continued, moans waning as your combined actions dawned on you suddenly. Here you were, having voice chat sex with a friend, in a chat where just about anyone else could join— at any time. Sure, it was currently three in the morning but the threat still loomed over your head.
It seemed the man had sensed your nervousness given his sudden; “It’s only us on here, mama.. use that pretty voice, let me hear you while you fuck yourself.”
Just from his voice and the vulgarity you were keening, back arching as a finger slowly pushed into your awaiting entrance. The moment you adjusted you were curling the digit, moaning out as your stomach stirred with pleasure.
Choso was praising you at this point, “That’s it, good girl.. Keep playing with yourself,” He spoke, breath rushed with soft groans interrupting. His hand was tight around his throbbing length, thumb swiping at the slit and smoothing his pre-cum across his dick. “Bet your pretending your fingers are mine, huh?” A soft chuckle escaped him— “Or maybe my tongue?.. Or maybe even my dick?”
You swore at his words, a second finger pushing in as your thumb began to rub harsh circles on your clit. “Ch—Choso, fuck..!” You pinched your nipple between your fingers, legs threatening to close as your throat nearly became raw from your voice.
You were close, pussy throbbing around your fingers as arousal leaked down them. Your pace quickened, soft sounds surrounding the room and serving as background noise to the sweetest moans escaping your wet lips.
If only you could see Choso; his eyes rolling back, hips rising into his hand and pretending it was you. His groans were deep, bordering on whimpers each time his hand slipped up to his sensitive tip. He was close too, hissing as his eyelids fluttered shut.
“Come with me, mama.. wanna hear you, fu-fuck.. lemme hear you.” Choso spoke on shaky breath, tensing as his orgasm drew.
You whimpered into the mic, eyebrows pinched close as your fingers never stopped it’s thrusts. Far too quickly you were creaming, staining your skin with your essence which trickled down your taint to your soft blankets. During this you heard a sharp gasp, warmth covering your body and enjoying the soft sounds that followed.
You simply laid there, heavy breathing coinciding with Choso’s own. Your fingers slowly withdrew from between your legs, slick smoothing across your thighs.
“You sleepy now?”
You bit your cheek, “No. No I’m not.”
“Good, I’m coming over in te— five minutes.” Choso spoke rather quickly, before the familiar sound of the voice chat ending entered your ears.

I've struggling a lot with believing lately when it cones to witchcraft. That constant feeling of this is pointless and by doing this i'm just like people who like "the secret".
Do you have any tips for that?
This might sound really bleak but my question to you is: so what if it's "pointless"? If it brings you joy and fulfillment and it doesn't harm you or others substantially, then it isn't pointless.
I think that the idea that everything we partake in must have a "point" is kinda bonkers and has been instilled in us via society since we were young. We're constantly bombarded with that #GrindsetMindset nonsense and it tricks us into thinking we always have to be doing something that gets some sort of measurable result.
You enjoy magic? You enjoy witchcraft? Sick, then it isn't pointless. :>
As far as believing, we all have our doubts. Even those who say they have no doubts now at least went through phases of doubt! I have doubts and I've been doing this shit for well over a decade, and I will continue to doubt!! Many of my mutuals would agree, I imagine.
You're not alone and at least here in my inbox you will never be shamed for having doubts and voicing them.
Edit: As far as tips, I suggest doing a lil bit of a reset. Start at the beginning again, as if you were a new witch. Also try to talk to more witches, join a discord server and interact with others, ask how they go about their magic. I always find refreshing new takes and practices when talking with my magical buddies!!

ok i know im not creative when it comes to aus but i thought itd be interesting to tell the story of MH through EMH’s story? IF YOU GUYS HAVE THOUGHTS OR QUESTIONS PLS LEAVE SOME IN MY INBOX!!! :-]( or even questions for the MH!EMH characters heh)1
Basically its just marble hornets told through EMH, for example instead of “tapes i found” story telling theyd open a youtube channel for tips and tricks on making your own movie while they make their own called Marble Hornets! EMH/MLA spoilersish up ahead
Heres the character correspondences:
Alex-> Jeff
Jay-> Vinnie
Tim-> Evan
Brian-> Michael!MLA
Jess-> Alex!EMH
Amy ->Jeffs GF(so sorry i forgot her name 😭)
“Masky”->Habit(which makes sense depending on the theories you go with for either series)
“Hoody”->Patrick (same as the last one)
Characters in cant figure out an association with:
Steph, Jess(Evans bestfriend) Shaun So they might just not have a place in this story idk
Since Mlanderson and EMH are in the same universe i thought id make Brian the Michael/Patrick of this story, except more involved. Instead of their being a shaun i think id like Brian to just go to MH crew, if ykwim. I did this cause the only other character i thought could fit Brian was Alex!EMH and I didnt like that.
My take on Masky is that hes just a more aware Tim, not a separate being (tho i do like to think of it that way for fun sometimes ha ha). Masky in my mind was in a battle against the operators control and was ultimately trying to help Jay. I think Masky would br Habit in this series cause of the theory that Habit is one of the first few iterations of Evan, thats why theyre similar and so compatible etc if you know the theory you know. That does mean that Tim isnt gonna act all ha ity, just more erratic i think, i havent gone tooooooo far into a characterization(or even a name) for Emh!MH Habit yet
“Hoody” I see as just brian and he was just disguising himself. in this au “Hoody” would be patrick. Let me explain,
Frim what i gathetef through my second watch of EMH and, my first of MLA , patrick is just Michael but remembers every single iteration, hes a similar being to Habit, thats why he has powers ig? Look i havent gotten too far into theories fir MLA the fandom is so dead i never see any 😭😭. I dont want to get to far into theories on other series anyways cause rhis is about my AU so ANYYYYWAYS i think brian would fit that its just brians story doesnt fit entirely with Michael, actually Tim would probably fit more now that i think about it. Oh god now im thinking of switching them again uhm wtv
I think the rest of the correspondences make sense if you think about it a bit. Jay as Vinnie makes sense to me because of boths compulsive need for answers even though its destructive to those around them. Jay wouldnt be as much as a villain in this like vinnie is (or maybe i havent decided muahaha). I also thought they fit cause they both do that weird thing where they constatly have to document everything.
I thought tim eould fit Evan just cause of the whole habit arc.
Alex as Jeff was more of a fill a role thing that eventually made sense to me. I did think of making him Evan and Tim Jeff, and im still thinking of doing this, but i thought the whole finding the gf arc would fit alex more. Alex would still be one of the villains i think. Like i said this would be marble hornets told through EMH lol. I might even switch it up and assign a habit type role to Alex instead and there be two patrick characters who knows!
As you can tell im still thinking this through so maybe mext post i make about this will be more solid. if youre interested to talk about this kore with me(obv my inbox) or i have a slenderverse discord i made with my friend heh tik tok smug emoji. come join if youre looking for more slenderverse friends(and if youre interested in darkharvest and mla especially cause i need more people to talk about that to 😭😭)
#first time drawing brian sorry that he looks wonky 😓#actually really liked these(except brian)#probs cause its detached from my main style a lot 😭#art#artist#digital art#artwork#doodles#art work#fanart#mlandersen0#emh#everyman hybrid#marble hornets fanart#marble hornets#masky marble hornets#jay merrick#alex kraile#brian thomas#tim wright#marble hornets AU

if you don’t mind… what are some of your fave blender tutorials/tutorial makers?
THE EMOJI I'M DEAD
ok so i have like a combobulation of knowledge and i've tested out cycles and eevee! i don't have a preference just yet because they perform different things, i think of it more like using a pen or a pencil, it just depends on the occasion! but here's a list of different tuts, tut makers and even a discord!
⋆。°✩ the first is @nepotisim's blender haven discord! there are different tutorials as well as a help section but you can learn finer details!
⋆。°✩ i used this video to introduce me to rendering and the basics. once i was comfortable, i followed this video and it's just a tad bit more in depth!
⋆。°✩ @salemssimblr has a tumblr dedicated to blender tut/tips and tricks! I learned about environmental lighting here! Ash has also been super helpful in any questions I've had!
⋆。°✩ @sikoi has a speedrun edit! it's cool to see everyone's process
⋆。°✩ @missatan has a skin tutorial as well as a bunch of other tutorials!

This Burn is Feeling In My Skin

Basil Stitt x Lightning Cloud
summary: after being struck by lightning, and isolating himself from the world, Basil finds that he’s not as alone as he initially thought.
content: 18+, masturbation (m), softdom lightning cloud, sweet subby Basil, he wipes cum on his pants it’s gross, crack treated seriously, lowkey like..magic sex pollen…
a/n: yes, this is a real thing I’ve written. for the Council of Oscar discord server’s April Fools event; title is from “Thunder In The City” by Future Generations.
—
Basil never wanted to step outside ever again, not after what happened.
The freak storm had left him scarred, terrified to leave the safety of his own home, and seriously worse for wear in the mental health department.
A few months after the incident, and a month after he convinced himself that leaping off of the roof of his apartment complex was a good idea, he heard it.
A voice. Soft, melodic.
Saying his name.
Basil, it would call, drawing his attention no matter what he was doing.
He tried to shake it off; his mind’s playing tricks on him. He’s not quite right, anything.
Basil…
There it is again.
He puts some music on—heavy metal. Loud. So loud that he can’t even hear himself think.
Come outside, Basil…
Even through the sound of blaring music, he can hear the voice clear as day, overriding every thought he might’ve been having.
Still, despite his best efforts to ignore the voice, he follows blindly, getting up from where he’d been sitting on his living room floor.
He stands, feeling as though he’s being pulled on a string as he makes his way out of his apartment, up the dimly lit stairwell and onto the roof of the building.
There it is, clear as day.
The storm cloud, the same one that struck him with lightning that day, floating high in the sky above him.
Fear splinters through him—this was a trick, a trap, and he’d fallen right for it.
Before he’s able to retreat back into the safety of his apartment, he hears that voice again. That beautiful, soft voice.
Sweet Basil…such a good listener…
He trembles, gaze locked on the sky like the answer is written beside the sun.
“What the fuck,” he breathes, half-question and half-prayer.
What a shame you’ve been hiding, the voice says, soft and sweet. I wish I was able to see that handsome face of yours more often.
Basil can feel the way his face flushes at the praise, the tips of his ears going warm. He shakes his head, immediately protesting the compliment that this…entity…has just given him.
“I’m not handsome anymore,” he protests, voice meek and unsure.
“Not after what you did to me.”
Thunder rumbles in the cloud, and to Basil’s ears, it sounds like a laugh. It’s laughing at him.
Don’t you understand? It asks, drawing his attention once again.
I made you this way for a reason, my sweet boy. Let me see your face.
Basil short circuits at that, his mind showing a total blue screen from the pet name, the softness of the voice compelling him to do as it asks.
He takes a short step closer in the direction of the cloud, being mindful not to walk too close to the edge of the roof—a mistake he’s already made once before.
A few seconds pass, as Basil does his best to do what the entity’s asked of him.
He turns slightly, angling his face so that the scarred, damaged side is showing, presenting himself to the cloud.
Beautiful, it sighs, supposedly taking in the sight of the branching, jagged scar it’s left on one side of his face.
You’re so handsome, Basil. I wish you saw yourself the way I see you.
Basil sighs, the sound fraying into something closer to a whine at the continued praise. He’s not used to it, he never was. Not even before he was struck.
This is something otherworldly, having returned after months of silence, just to see him.
He lowers himself to his knees. The concrete is hard beneath him, but the discomfort is the least of his worries.
“What do you want from me?” He asks, voice wavering as he gazes up at the sky, never taking his eyes off of that dark cloud.
There’s a moment of silence, the air surrounding him feeling heavy; it weighs down on him, the way that the pressure outside changes right before a storm breaks.
All I want, the voice begins, finally breaking its silence.
…is for you to understand how I feel about you. I want you to know why I chose you.
The wind blows around him—the cloud remains in the same place, unaffected—though Basil certainly feels an effect of it.
Something warm burns in his chest, simmering beneath his skin and flooding his veins. Heat makes itself present where there previously was none.
Basil blinks. Once, twice, anything he can to try to stave off that heat, but to no avail. It—whatever it is—has dug its talons into him, and is refusing to let go.
Much to his chagrin, he’s already hard, the evidence of his arousal clear through the material of his sweatpants.
Immediately, Basil’s hands fly to his lap, making an attempt to cover himself up, fully knowing that there’s no one around to see him in such a state.
Another rumble of thunder. Another laugh.
Silly boy, is all it says, sounding more smug than ever.
Basil whines again, the sound dying somewhere in his throat at the thought that he’s being teased by this entity, the very thing that cursed him in the first place.
He presses the heel of his palm against his cock, doing anything he can to try to ignore the ache that refuses to go away. Even that slight pressure is too much; it feels too good.
It’s good, isn’t it? The voice asks, tone impossibly soft, drifting through Basil’s mind like a siren’s song.
Basil nods, bites his lip to suppress another whine.
Then why are you keeping yourself from it? I want you to enjoy this, to feel everything I feel for you.
His eyes are shut tight, making a last-ditch attempt at drowning out the voice in his head, but it doesn’t go away.
The heat in his gut continues to burn, coiling tightly and threatening to snap at the slightest nudge.
Feel what I feel, Basil.
By this point, Basil is painfully hard, his cock twitching, neglected beneath his hand as he listens to the gentle encouragement of the disembodied voice.
Feeling the way his face burns in embarrassment and choosing to ignore it, Basil squeezes himself through the fabric of his pants, seeking even the tiniest modicum of relief from whatever curse that this being has laid upon him.
The allure of it all is too good to pass up on, too much for him to ignore. Swiftly moving in to replace his embarrassment is an insatiable ache, a need that must be satisfied, an itch that must be scratched.
Slipping his hand beneath the waistband of his pants, Basil takes himself in hand, whining at the feeling, no longer caring who hears—besides it, of course.
He very much wants it to hear, for it to know what it’s responsible for.
The wind blows softly around him again, and his cock twitches once more, like his body is aware of something that he isn’t.
“Fuck,” he breathes, taking a second to tug down his sweats just enough for his cock to be freed—aching, red and leaking at the tip. Despite the cool breeze, Basil still feels hot all over, like his very veins have been replaced by pure lightning.
It all burns white-hot, down to his very core.
He strokes himself slowly, already feeling himself tip into oversensitivity, and fearing that he’ll come immediately if he moves any quicker.
Another rumble of thunder.
Oh, you have so much to learn, my sweet boy. Let yourself feel good, the way I had, the moment I chose you to be mine.
The way that it claims him so simply with its words makes Basil whimper, precum dribbling from the tip of his cock as he quickly becomes overwhelmed by the voice in his head.
“I- I can’t—I’m not going to…not when you’re—“ he struggles with his words, voice trembling as he strokes himself a little faster now, chasing the high that he didn’t even know he wanted.
The hatred and fear he’d felt for this entity is long gone, replaced by something akin to devotion. He’s on his knees, giving himself completely to a being he can’t even see.
Go ahead, my Basil, the voice coos, even more soft and alluring this time around. Show me that you feel the same way I do.
It’s all too much for Basil to take, the encouragement gentle in all the ways that he likes more than he’ll ever admit.
He comes with a whine, spilling himself all over his palm and his fingers, his heart racing in his ears, the thundering of his pulse rivaling that of the entity’s meteorological laugh.
You love me, it murmurs, the softness of its voice swirling through Basil’s mind as he comes down from his embarrassingly fast orgasm.
Look at how much you love me. Didn’t that feel good, my sweet boy?
Through the slowly retreating haze of arousal, Basil nods dumbly, grimacing as he wipes the release on his hand off onto the fabric of his pants—they were due for a wash, anyway—and tucks himself away.
“‘S good, yeah. I don’t- I didn’t think that—“
—that you’d find something so enjoyable with me, right? Another soft rumble of thunder—a laugh.
Basil nods hastily, the haze clearing from his mind, yet he remains on his knees. His eyes haven’t left the dark cloud once.
I see… perhaps soon you’ll rethink how you feel.
Another nod from soft, sweet Basil. He’s so eager to please, to ensure that he’s always doing the best he can for anyone, especially such an entity that can make him feel like that.
Not even his girlfriend—ex girlfriend—made him feel this way; desperate and loved and wanted.
The storm cloud has lightened, not as dark and gloomy as it had appeared previously. Now, it’s much brighter, the electric charge in the air having dissipated.
“Will you, ah—“ Basil clears his throat, not even second guessing himself as he asks this.
“Will you come back? See me again?”
The wind blows around Basil again, though this time it feels comforting, warm. Like a hug he never wants to separate himself from.
My sweet boy, I’ll always be here. I’m always with you.
Another breeze, and the cloud is gone, the sky cleared in an instant, though Basil doesn’t feel alone. He can feel the presence of that entity, somewhere deep in the recesses of his mind.
He’s not alone anymore. There’s someone—thing—who loves him, who cares for him, just the way he is.
