Does anyone else get so disassociated they can't move? Like I get weird moments where I'm stuck. I remember this happening when I was a kid, too. Idk why it happens. Sometimes it's not from disassociation and it's because I accidentally convinced myself I can't move. Does this happen to anyone else?

Ok gonna talk about some system stuff here sorry followers. Tw for light description of trauma

It’s very isolating to be a system with trauma from psychosis. I’ve had hallucinations, compulsions, obsessions, and delusions, since I was little.

At a certain point in my life, they got extremely violent. The things I experienced were extremely traumatizing. The things I can remember, I’ll never forget.

Despite that, it’s still technically all in my head. It wasn’t real. It was my brain going insane and making me see feel think taste hear and do things that never really happened.

So when I talk about my trauma. People don’t take it seriously. And call me an endogenic system. Because they say “well how can you be traumatized by that it wasn’t real”

But I still felt all those things in excruciating detail. I did things that affected my body and my relationship with my loved ones and my possessions. I lost an important period of my life, I didn’t develop the same as other kids, and I’ll never function the same again. It was traumatic! Even though it “didn’t happen”.

Also, my system stemming from trauma due to psychotic episodes and during a psychotic episode means it was originally structured very strangely and unhealthily. My inner world was warped and abstract, because my logic and perception of everything was warped and abstract too. There were only two rooms, both of which were incredibly hard to exist peacefully in and had no path in between. My alter was formed for the purpose of trying to kill me. Which was part of my delusions at the time. We were constantly flickering in and out of front because of the constant stress of hallucinations. We don’t have ages. Our appearances are very very loose to each other and based mostly on a vague outline filled in with color.

My system operated weirdly. My trauma was not something many other systems shared. This made me feel very outcastsed. Just something I wanted to talk about.

Do not deny accessibility options for people just because someone might abuse it.

I have never seen someone actually misuse PluralKit or TupperBox for nefarious purposes. The only instance it's been misused in our recollection is when it was used to roleplay, to which we asked them to stop and they did.

We have created a survey for individuals in the plural and system communities. Any system of any origin is welcome to and encouraged to take this survey. We are especially looking forward to hearing about endogenic experiences! We are a traumagenic (likely) DID system and wish to know more about others. This is not being done to judge anyone, no matter the syscourse stances, no matter origins, or how they self identify.

About/Information

This survey is being done so that we will be able to possibly make better posts going forward around the experiences others have gone through. We will also at the end be closing this survey and making a document going over and compiling our findings. We will also make that information available.

The fact that Sly literally only ever fronted whenever Aoba was being assaulted, abused, or nearly killed throughout DRAMAtical Murder yet to this day people still call him “the evil alter cliche” in terms of the general portrayal of DID in media really really bothers me.

He literally was split as a means to protect Aoba, which is exactly what Sly did. Did he go about it the wrong way? Yeah, I'd say destroying people's brains and giving people brain hemorrhages isn't necessarily the best way to ensure the safety of your system, but that's literally what an aggressive protector is in a system: An alter usually split to deal with physical, verbal, emotional, or sexual abuse and/or assault, but due to their misguided idea of what protection should and shouldn't be, they retaliate against said danger and/or abuse aggressively. They mean no harm to their system nor the body and it's the same case for Aoba and Sly.

Aoba literally acknowledges that Sly was never evil and that he just had a misguided idea of protecting him from harm in Ren’s route. Stop it with the “Sly/Desire is evil and that's his only character trait” shtick because it's annoying. He's just a smug little gremlin alter who likes to mess with people's heads, and what about it?? He's far from “evil” he's just a tiny bastard man who just so happens to have mind manipulation powers.
