Crewel basically being the Prefect's Dad

First, don't think you're getting the upper hand during class, pup.

He wants you to do and be at your best whenever possible, which calls for some harsh lessons.

And he will call you out in class when you're not paying attention.

Still, whenever you need help, Crewel will be there to look after you.

That includes keeping Crowley and the boys off your back.

Particularly when he notices Crowley dumping all of his work as headmaster onto you.

Simply unacceptable.

If he sees that you're struggling, emotionally or physically, or just that your workload is out of proportion, you can bet Crowley will be left in a far worse state.

Really, if you start crying or get burnt out from everything you're somehow expected to do, Crewel will be seething.

And naturally, Crowley finds out pretty quick.

Oftentimes, he doesn't even need to chew him out to tear Crowley apart.

Instead, with Crowley in the same room, all he has to do is call you to him.

When you walk in and call him "Papa", Crowley starts blubbering.

Shouldn't he be your father figure?!?!?!

Furthermore, as you neatly dodge the clingy birdman, you head straight to a smug Papa Crewel, who pats his pup on the head.

And you can forget about your responsibilities as prefect.

(Which really are the responsibilities of the headmaster.)

As Crewel informs Crowley they'll be going on vacation for parent-child bonding time.

He can and will force Crowley to deal with his own problems, and while he's at it, get you a mental health break.

During this break, he'll make sure you don't fall too far behind on your studies, however, will focus on getting you back to top-notch.

If you really just can't handle a whole lot at the moment, then he'll keep studying at a minimum.

You'll both spend quite a bit of time just in his home or studio, at least at first.

Before going on some ridiculous adventure, he wants to make sure you've had time to recuperate.

And of course, he has dogs.

At the very least, three.

Each one is just as important to him as you, and he expects you to get along.

Really, it's amazing that you've managed to be considered as important as his dogs.

Still, they're all quite friendly and well-trained, so you don't have to worry about having any problems with them.

He absolutely softens whenever he sees you spending time with them.

After a day or two of rest, if you're up to it, Crewel will take you on a trip.

He'll try to cater it to your tastes, but you can expect it to be classy.

Well aware that you don't have much in terms of belongings, he'll first make sure to get you something to wear outside your uniform as well as whatever else you might want or need.

Straight up buys you a collar with return information.

Crewel will make sure that you are well dressed.

He cannot have his pup looking like a mutt at the side of the road.

Still, he's well-acquainted with style and is easily able to come up with something that suits your preferences and looks good.

When he sees that your style's improved, Crewel will be beaming with pride.

And he will absolutely make sure you can strut, but that's for another day.

Once you've gotten everything you need, as well as visited several dozen pet stores, he'll take you back home, as it'll be getting rather late.

And holy smokes, he's an amazing cook.

His tastes are quite refined and nothing is extremely sweet or salty, but always a perfect balance.

Beyond that, he cooks with a lot of vegetables and eats very healthily.

You will find practically zero junk food in his house.

He knows he's got to work hard to maintain his figure, and he will do so.

Still, if there's something you want in particular, he'll be sure to keep an eye out for it.

But he'll only buy those sorts of things on a rare occasion, but will make sure it's special every time.

Once you return to Night Raven College, he'll make sure that you get caught up quickly.

That includes assigning someone that isn't Ace, Deuce, or Grim, to help you for a little bit.

(The probable candidates being Jack, Jamil, Vil, Riddle, or Trey, or basically, any responsible student that won't get you even more sidetracked.)

As a parent, Crewel will always keep an extra eye out for you, and strive to help you succeed.

And Great Seven help them, but Crewel has some opinions on quite a few of the boys.

He'll let you (and them) know if he disapproves of something, but overall will leave your relationships with them to your discretion.

But if they start causing problems, he will raise hell.

And it won't be long before he legally adopts you.

Considering that you're stuck in a completely new world, Crewel knows that you'll be needing support, which he's happy to provide.

Divus Crewel x Wife Reader

He forgot something at home headcanon/fic

I had an idea lmao

A few details to note before the fic, Reader is Crewel's wife and assistant for his fashion-related work (my personal headcanon please I need this) so reader usually stays at home or goes out to get things organized or checked on for Crewel.

Divus is not the kind of person who would usually forgets anything at home, but this morning he was in a rush

That night he had stayed up later than usual to finish grading papers

In fact, he stayed up so late you had to pull him out of his office and into bed so he could actually get some rest before another day of headaches from his students (and Crowley)

Unfortunately that morning his alarm clock had run out of batteries

You had woken up before him wondering why he was still in bed and not getting ready for work so you woke him up

In a panic, he quickly thanked you with a kiss told you to go back to sleep, and rushed to get ready and get to work

You of course decided to not go back to sleep and instead helped him out by getting his bag out of his office and making him coffee as he was putting on makeup 

And with another quick thank you and a kiss, he was out the door

Luckily today was a nice and slow day for you, so you luckily got to start without such a rush

it was around 10 o'clock when you got a call from your husband informing you that he had forgotten to put all those newly graded papers in his bag last night

"If you have time could you bring those over to school for me?" he asked as he rubbed his temples in frustration

"Of course what kind of assistant would I be if I didn't" You laughed as he sighed

"You'll have to come to my classroom, I really don't have enough time to meet you at the front gates today. Sorry about that."

Well today was going to be more exciting than you thought

After quickly throwing together a nice outfit you grabbed the papers put them in a folder and made your way to school

Driving up the road to NRC was stressful you really didn't know how Divius did it every day

You parked your car outside the gates and quickly speed-walked to your husband's classroom using the instructions he had given to you over the phone

As you approach his classroom you could hear the chatter of students inside, ‘was class already over? Looks like I made it just in time’. You knocked on the door and poked your head inside all eyes were on you as the chatter suddenly dimmed. 

“Is now a good time?” you asked as you opened the door a little wider so you could gesture to the folder in your hand

“Oh perfect timing dear I was just about to dismiss these pups for lunch, well then pups it looks like you will be getting your grades back today after all.” You quickly made your way inside and over to his desk handing the folder to him “Wait here a moment we can get lunch together once I dismiss them.” he smiled at you. 

As you waited you noticed how messy his desk was, he must have been stressed, you thought as you decided to organize it for him. “Once you receive your grade you may be dismissed, if you have any questions regarding your grade you may ask me, just make it quick. Homework is due tomorrow before class” he spoke with a stern voice over the chatter, clearly glaring at some students 

As the students slowly filed out you could feel their questioning glances at you, hearing questions like

Who is that? I’ve never seen her around school before.

Does prof have a girlfriend???

Do ya think I got a chance with her?

That last one seemed to annoy Divis quite a bit. 

After all the questions had been asked and quickly answered he quickly made his way back over to you slumping back into his chair with a sigh “Sorry for the inconvenience dear I hope you weren't too busy today,” he said as he leaned his head to the side onto you. 

You laughed softly as your hand moved to stroke his hair “Dont worry Divius my only appointment is later this afternoon, you aren't interrupting anything.” 

he sighed slowly getting up and taking his coat off and draping it across your shoulders, “It’s cold here take this for the time being I dont need my lovely reliable assistant and wife getting sick now do I.” he looked over at you with a smirk. 

“Yes yes keep flattering me, I'm the best aren't I” you said holding in a laugh “Divius you’ve had nothing to eat all day you must be hungry let's get you something to eat shall we?” you looked over him with concern. 

“You are not wrong there, let me lead you to the cafeteria the food is surprisingly good.” he chuckled as he offered his arm to you with a smile.

As the two of you made your way out of the classroom you took note of the three students and a cat that stood chatting conveniently close to the entrance of the classroom looking over at the two of you ever so stealthily. “They are going to be a problem tomorrow.” your husband sighs as you laugh leaning into his side.

“Who tf was that????” Ace whisper shouted at the prefect as they headed to the cafeteria. “How stupid are you did you not hear him clearly say ‘assistant and wife’?” Deuce whisper shouted back. “I didn't know he was married. How long has he been married???” Grimm said borderline shouting directly into the prefect's ear. “Who cares about that, she looks like a model! How did he snag her? And you didn’t answer my question earlier, ya think I got a chance with her?” the prefect rolled their eyes at Ace as they thought ‘I need to go apologie to Professor Crewel later.’

Student Crewel x Reader headcanon/fic

This is set when Crewel was still a student at NRC, reader is a first year and Crewel is a second year.

Its 3 am I don’t know what I am doing please take my offering and feel free to request I guess. 

- There's no doubt about it he is a Pomfiore student

- Because of his unique and fabulous fashion sense he became the house-warden in his first year

- Back then he did not dye his hair white it was solid black

- As the house-warden he is smart, he has perfect grades to go along with his looks

- In his free time, you could likely find him sketching out new fashion designs for his next show

- Did I forget to mention that he is already an established and renowned fashion designer?

- As a house-warden he is strict not as bad as Riddle but similarly to Vil he requires everyone to look their best at all times

- You and Crewel met in his second year when you were in your first year

- Upon seeing you in the hall of mirrors he would firstly critique your ceremonial robes seeing that although your looks were good my god u did not know how to put that thing on… he can fix you… I think?

- He had mixed feelings when you were assigned to Pomfiore

- Only once you had been sorted into his dorm did he begin to really think about your ill fitting ceremonial robes

- On one hand, he had never seen someone like you before

- On the other hand… there was a lot of work to be done regarding your choice of clothing

- Your first interactions with him were likely right after the ceremony 

- You were talking to a couple of first years before being sent off to your dorms when you heard the clicking of footsteps quickly approaching you

- This is followed by your ceremonial robes being adjusted along with murmuring about how troublesome it's going to be with you in the dorm

- Once you arrived at Pomfiore you found out the one who had been fussing over your clothing was nonother than the house-warden himself Divius Crewel

- Although all the fussing over you was annoying at first as you slowly got to know him things became slightly better

- Once you found out that he was a famous fashion designer all those times he held his sketchbook up to compare to you finally made sense

- Now whenever you catch him doing this your face would flush and you would quickly turn away 

- When you start doing this he is confused, you use to at least acknowledge his presence when you looked at him but now what? Don’t tell him he was about to lose a future model of his?

- After a month of this happening he decided to confront you about it

- Of course, at first you denied anything like this even happening but as the conversation continued an unexplainable hint of pink surfaced on your cheeks

- And that's when he pieced everything together 

- With a smirk on his face, he decided why not torment you for a little longer before confirming his suspicions 

- “Say Y/N why don't we continue this conversation in my room there's something else I must discuss so let's leave it at this for now, shall we? We cant be late for class can we now?”

- Your friends practical dragged you to your next class that day as you continued to overthink everything he had just said

- Once all school activities had ended you slowly inched your way back to the dorms and to the grand doors of Crewels room

- Your shaky knock on the door was met with an annoyed “come in” from Crewel

- “Ahh why if it isn't my dear puppy”

- Your dead 

- On the floor even

- What did he just call you??? Puppy???????

- While you were too stunned to speak he continued

- “I needed to discuss some work-related things with you, would you like to model for me in my next show?”

- What? Did you just hear him correctly?? He wants YOU to walk for him?

- “Are you sure Divus? I mean I've never done anything of the sort before and-”

- “Look dear it either you walk or this show doesn't go on I did design this collection with you in mind after all”
