Aaron is quite the romantic despite popular belief. Of course, neither of you actually have much free time because you’re constantly on the go with different cases but he does try his best to take advantage of the time both of you are home. He loves to whisk you away on romantic dinner dates but equally loves when you both order a takeaway and watch a movie with Jack. 

B eauty - What do they admire about their s/o? What do they think is beautiful about them?

He admires your devotion to your work, to your team, to him and to Jack. He appreciates how much you put into your work and your relationships and that your family always comes first.

C omfort - How would they help their s/o when they feel down/have a panic attack etc.?

Anything you’d like to do he’d be up for. Whether it’d be going out for a walk or sitting at home eating ice cream and watching tv. He’d be there for you. 

D reams - How do they picture their future with their s/o?

From the moment you two got together, actually even before that, he pictured a long life with you. He doesn’t want to live a single day without you by his side.

E qual - Are they the dominant one in the relationship, or rather passive?

I don’t really know how to answer this one, because like yes Hotch is dominant but like??? You are both equal in your relationship which is very important to both of you.

However in the bedroom you best believe Hotch is the dominant one.

F ight - Would they be easy to forgive their s/o? How are they fighting?

Obviously it depends on the situation. But yes, Aaron is generally very forthcoming and willing to communicate and fix things if they’re gone a bit askew. 

G ratitude - How grateful are they in general? Are they aware of what their s/o is doing for them?

He is incredibly aware of how lucky he is. He is so grateful for how you’ve integrated not only him, but also Jack into your life. He’s aware that he has more baggage than the average guy and that he spends more time working than he should so he knows that he’s lucky to have you. 

H onesty - Do they have secrets they hide from their s/o? Or do they share everything?

I don’t think Aaron is a secret-y kind of guy. I think he’d do everything he could to ensure that your life together is as honest as possible. Obviously it’s hard sometimes working together but with your personal life he does try to keep everything very honest.

I nspiration - Did their s/o change them somehow, or the other way around? Like trying out new things or helped them overcome personal problems?

I don’t think ‘change’ is necessarily the right word but you have brought out his softer side. He smiles a lot while around you and is even less uptight at work, so much so that Morgan has started to crack jokes.

J ealousy - Do they get jealous easily? How do they deal with it?

I think Aaron is too mature to experience jealousy, jealousy if you get me. But if some cop comes up and starts hitting on you while you’re working on a case he might feel a little twinge of jealousy. He might experience some insecurity but he’ll always talk it through with you

K iss - Are they a good kisser? What was the first kiss like?

This man is 100% a good kisser. He’s amazing. Your first kiss was after he drove you home after a tough case and walked you up to your door. He didn’t plan to do it, it just happened naturally.

L ove Confession - How would they confess to their s/o?

I think he’d want to have a proper conversation about it. You both work together so he would want to make sure that any relationship you two do have wouldn’t affect (or effect idk) your work relationship or the teams dynamic. He also has to think about Jack. He want to make sure there is no possibility of him getting hurt in anyway and that you were also ok with him having a kid.

M arriage - Do they want to get married? How do they propose? What would the marriage be like?

Hotch, I feel, is quite a traditional guy. Obviously his first go at marriage didn’t exactly work out so I think he’d might be a bit nervous that he’d screw it up again but other than that I think he’d love to marry you.

N icknames - What do they call their s/o?

Once again, I think he’s quite traditional so things like love or darling or honey are his go to’s

O n Cloud Nine - What are they like when they are in love? Is it obvious for others? How do they express their feelings?

He’s such a softie tbh, like a teenager in love for the very first time. Small touches, holding doors, lingering glances. And being on a team of profilers all of these things are picked up on. The team are just delighted that you both finally got together

P DA - Are they upfront about their relationship? Do they brag with their s/o in front of others? Or are they rather shy to kiss etc. when others are watching?

I think the most PDA you both show is what I said above. You both have to be professional and never want your relationship to get in the way of your work.

Q uirk - Some random ability they have that’s beneficial in a relationship.

I suppose the fact that he’s a profiler maybe. He always knows if something is wrong

R omance - How romantic are they? What would they do to make their s/o happy? Cliché or rather creative?

Hotch loves a good, classic, romantic night out. But often times you both are too tired to do much so you stay home and order a takeout. Anytime where you actually get to spend time together is good time in his eyes.

S upport - Are they helping their s/o achieve their goals? Do they believe in them?

Of course. Hotch loves to watch you work and is so proud of how much your skills have come along since you started at the BAU.

T hrill - Do they need to try out new things to spice out your relationship? Or do they prefer a certain routine?

I think with your jobs, routine is quite good, well as much routine as you can actually get. But he’s always up for new things too as long as you are.

U nderstanding - How good do they know their partner? Are they empathetic?

He knows you so well. It’s like he can read you like a book sometimes.

V alue - How important is the relationship to them? What is it’s worth in comparison to other things in their life?

It’s so important to him. You are part of his family, part of his entire life.

YES. very much yes. Big cuddler, big kisser, big hugger. all of it he just wants to be near you.

Y earning - How will they cope when they’re missing their partner?

Well he rarely actually gets a chance to miss you because if you’re not home together you’re on a case together.

Z eal - Are they willing to go to great lenghts for the relationship? If so, what kind of?

He’ll do what he can to always make your relationship work but he’s no idiot either. If he can see that the relationship is falling apart then, no matter how painful it is, he has to deal with it.

DATING HEADCANONS (Forever and Always For You)

An// I tried 😪 hopefully this is good cause I wanna do my boy justice. This is from my personal headcanons and also based on what Ive read of him. Also for a warning there is sexual innuendo and sexual stuff mentioned so do what you want with that...

Beginning of your relationship

Just to start please give this man all of your love. We all know hes pretty insecure, so he needs that validation from you. During the relationship he will get more comfortable with himself and actually accept the compliments you throw at him instead of dismissing them. Instead of saying "no" and "no im not" he'll say "okay sure" and "If you say so" trying to hide the smile on his face

In the beginning he was snarky and somewhat cocky. He still is now. But he was trying to impress you. He really wanted to leave an impression and he of course succeeded.

Dates will start off at the most random times. He had Red Hood duties of course. But the dates would consist of late night motorcycle drives. Going to get takeout and eat it on a rooftop. He told you he found the rooftop place by accident. He totally wasnt there a couple minutes ago

"Really, have you thought of dating someone for real?" You asked him this question as you two sat on his bike eating McDonald's.

"Not really. I dont necessarily do "dates" he stuffed fries into his mouth not caring about modesty at this point.

"What? You just fuck and go?" You asked stifling a laugh.

He laughed at your comment, "Basically. This is new to me. One of my firsts in a while."

Okay heres actual relationship headcanons below

He will be your weighted blanket whenever you need him. He loves skinship. He has his hands on you most of the time. On you thigh, lightly grazing your knee, elbow, his arm around your neck, hugging you from behind, hugging you regularly. He loves sneaking in small touches throughout the day. Also you both lay naked besides eachother in bed just because its comfortable and you both love the skin to skin contact.

He gives the most passionate kisses that knock the air out of your lungs. He loves kissing you, its his favorite passtime when you two are home and have nothing else better to do.

Okay but- Jason never really let anyone else kiss anything but his lips, but with you he'll let you do anything to him. Kiss his neck, his chest, his scars, his hands, anywhere and he'll melt instantly, putty in your hands.

You both are equal to eachother. He never tries to dominate you in anyhting other then the bedroom. He never sees you as inferior or that he has to protect you 24/7. He invested in self defense training for you, than relized that the trainer was doing a bad job then insisted on training you himself. Of course he wants you safe, but he trusts you to keep out of harms way. But if the bad guys come to you, Gotham is going to burn.

The time Jason shared about being red hood he thought you were gonna break up with him. But you supported him and surprisingly to him you were okay with him leaving at random times. He will make up for it if he had to leave during a dinner or a special moment, but he'll leave with nothing more with a small kiss and a hope that you'll forgive him later.

Jason likes to spoil you rotton. Either with acts of love or with Bruce's credit card. He drove you to a mall and just gave you his black card

"Jay what are we doing here?"

"Buy yourself anything you want doll, this whole place can be yours if you want."

"This card says Bruce Wayne."

"It does? I must've grabbed the wrong card...Oh well, I guess its fate. Let's go!"

He can be an annoying little shit sometimes though. Refusing to do stuff around the apartment just because he doesn't want to. He'll sit next to you and just stare at you for no reason. Play with your legs by flopping them around, and that somehow starts a wrestling match that you will lose and that turns into him fucking you so teasingly slow.

You belive Jason has multiple personalities. He can be the biggest softy ever. Then the next minute he can the cockiest shit ever. And theres no in-between.

You both love play fighting, it comes naturally to you both. The fights never escalate into anything bad or serious, but they do lead to some good "make up" sex.

You guys dont fight that often, just some arguments here and there like a normal couple, but never anything that would threaten your relationship. Maybe some things are said in the heat of the moment but its always forgiven unless its something about his past.

Still on the topic of fights: Once in a while you both get into a huge fight/screaming match that'll leave one of you leaving the apartment for a certain amount of time. Of course it hurts the both of you, you guys cant spend a long time away from eachother (he'll go away for like a couple of hours now, it used to be days) but sometimes its good to take a break. And of course the make up sex is great but like- You guys know eachother well enough to know whether to cuddle eachother or let eachother have space. No matter what you both will come back to eachother.

You both are huge on communication. At first Jason didn't talk to you about anything, but now after an argument/fight let him go to blow off some steam for some hours and he'll come back to talk your ears off and find a resolution to the problem, or both of you apologize for what was said. There are no unresolved issues in your household. Even if it takes a while you two will always find a way to fix something. Also jason just likes talking to you.

You guys cant get rid of eachother even if you both tried. He thanks his lucky stars each night for you and that you're still here. This man is truly in love with you.

Jason loves cooking for you. Just the sight of you watching him cook as you talk about your day makes his heart flutter. He could open up a restaurant if he wanted to. He learned from Alfred and just purely out of interest so once he learns a new recipe he wants to cook for you, which leads to you both talking about your days while sipping on wine. He loves the small things. Like reading books to you while you comment about what happened. Riding into the night on his motorcycle. Watching you do your morning routine from the comfort of your bed all while he has this love sick look in his eyes.

Speaking of cooking you take turns sharing recipes and cooking for eachother. More often than not you end up cooking for Jason because he dosent know the meaning of self care. You try to get him to take days off, in the beginning he wouldn't give in, but now he will willingly take a break if that means you'll be there.

The highlight of Jason's life was when your neighbor greeted him without Jason having to introduce himself.

"G'morning y/n! Morning Jason!"

"Morning Mrs. Thomas!"

"Morning." Jason had this smirk on his face as he greeted the older lady.

"Hope you both have a beautiful day!"

"You too!" You had to look at him. "Whats with the smug face?"

"I never introduced myself to her. I guess Im doing my job right."

Jason is fucking smooth. He loves to get a reaction out of you by seducing and making you blush (or challenging him and flirting with him back) or saying the cheesist pick up lines ever and making you laugh. It's apart of his job, so of course he is so good at making women fall for him and you fall for it every time and he loves it.

"Aside from being sexy what do you do for a living?"

"Jay."

"Are you a pokemon? Cause I'll like to pik-at-chu.. naked"

"Jason shut the fuck up." You tried to not laugh.

"I must be in a museum, because you truly are a work of art."

He truly loves confidence. He thinks confidence is sexy. Either confidence in yourself or youre confident in something that you do he is drawn to that it attracts him. And he hopes that when he exudes confidence it draws others in as well. Confidence is key.

But if you aren't confident in yourself he will make sure that you will be soon. He has the upmost confidence in you and believes in you probably more than anyone else. He worships the ground you walk on in his own way. He isnt "Dick Grayson dramatic" but just notice the small ways he appreciates you. Cooking your favorite meal, stocking the pantry up with snacks, getting groceries at 4 am just so you wont have to go in the morning, even taking time off his Red Hood duties to stay in with you. He flatters you so much as well. This man.. he'll give compliments out like nothing, but he cant take compliments well.

Jason slowly opened up to you about his past one night. He told you about his parents, about his death, spilled everything about his current family's identities. It took him a whole night to do so and you listened. He just needed you to listen, but he also encouraged your reactions as well because your reactions are valid to him. He still left some stuff out that night, but one day he'll tell you all of it when he's ready.

Like I said, Jay loves to talk with you. Either in person, on the phone, texting, somehow he needs to know you are there. I feel like Jason hasn't been in a long term relationship, so he wants to spend as much time as possible with you/hearing you. He could die at any moment being Red Hood its a very dangerous job and you know that, every time he goes out he knows that as well and he dosent want the recent kiss to be the last. He texts or calls you sometimes during patrol. So he wants to make sure you are there for him and just there and alive period.

Jay doesn't forgive himself easily, he can be grim sometimes, and he'll sometimes share those grim thoughts to you at night when everything is dark and you cant see his eyes watering. He feels comfortable and vulnerable at night beside you in bed where he can tell you whats been on his mind. No matter how bad it may seem to you, you will always stay and support and help as much as you can.

Jason dosent believe in fate, but he knows that you two were always meant to be together. From the day he was put on this Earth and the day he was brung back onto this Earth he now knows this was the universe's doings. The universe knew Jason needed someone like you in his life and he is never letting you go any time soon.

your hands slapped to your ears, eyes shut tight. i can’t take this so early in the morning.

the voices from your dream had lingered longer than you would have liked. it reminded you it was time to face another day, to endure another long long day and night of hearing the wrong things.

maybe if i went and lived on my own again…i wouldn’t have to deal with it—no. senku needs me. he needs me…what does he need me for again? you rolled onto your stomach; your pillow rustled as you flopped it on top of your head. he doesn’t need me. i’d rather be lonely than hear everyone say some bullshit about me.

everyone in the village knew you as a miss. yuzuriha made you more neutral clothes upon request, but everyone assumed you were tomboyish. luckily, no one read more into it; it was nice to dress comfortably, but it was like no one else understood. why were they still calling you a girl? and the older folks, you knew they meant well! but you couldn’t help but feel like their constant “sweet girl”s were making fun of you at this point.

you felt a tear trickle down the side of your nose.

senku’s voice brought some sort of relief; personally you felt it was better for him to come in at such a time than anyone else.

senku laughed behind the door. a small shove was made and it opened, revealing a quite chipper senku. he liked to come early in the morning when the rest of the village was quiet.

his smirk faltered once he saw your face. you believed you hid your crying well; you didn’t think to check your red eyes or stinging cheeks.

“what’s wrong?” he asked, his words much gentler than when he asked to come in.

damn. how could i not realize i was so obvious?

with a deep breath, you whispered, “senku.. we’re pretty good friends, right?”

he snickered. “of course we are, way more than that asshole gen.”

his voice was closer. you laughed as well, and wiped your eyes clear. he slowly walked over and sat down on the floor next to you. senku was looking at you, really looking at you; it was intense, almost if he was making sure his closeness or anything about his presence wasn’t bothering you.

“okay…i’m about to say a lot of stuff. let me know if you need me to explain more, or if i’m talking too much. or—“

your words halted as senku put a hand on your shoulder, a smile light on his face. “all ears.”

you smiled back softly. “okay. so—back in..our time,”you gestured between the two of you with your hands, “i told my family and friends i was, uhm… nonbinary. like i don’t feel male or female, i use they/them pronouns; all that good stuff. still feel that way now. and, for quite some time, they didn’t believe me. not in a direct ‘you’re lying’ way, but more of ‘i don’t understand it therefore you shouldn’t understand it’ type of thing. i got a lot of shit from people who weren’t my friends, too. but with my friends’ support and getting more confidence after coming out, my parents were able to kinda see it. but yeah, it took quite some time. probably like.. eight months? even then, i had to remind them constantly, ‘not a daughter. please don’t call me she or he. please don’t call me a woman.’ but we were getting there. and right when we got petrified, right when it happened, i saw the look on my mom’s face.

“we were talking about me and my identity and it was like something had clicked in her brain. like, she knew exactly what i meant and how i felt when i said what it meant to be nonbinary. i don’t even remember what i said specifically, but i remember her expression as if she were standing in front of me right now. i was so hopeful i’d see her again, her expression got me through my petrification and even helped me break out of it. but of COURSE, i didn’t ever see her again after i woke up. and then i almost lost my own sense of self after being by myself for probably a year.. i was under the assumption i’d never meet another person again, so when i did run into your village—i had this gross feeling of dread. and i realized it was the same feeling that basically lived inside of me before i came out.”

you sat up straighter and looked away from senku. “it’s like, i have to rebuild my identity all over again. people always say you shouldn’t care about what other people say, but i can’t help it. i’m a sensitive person. i get hurt easily, no matter how hard i try to thicken my skin. they all, they all just use ‘she’ and ‘her’ and ‘that girl’ so often, it feels like they’re making fun of me, like they’re constantly telling me i’m not who i say i am. and i can’t tell them senku, being nonbinary was confusing for so many people in our time, i hardly believe they’ll understand it now. sure, my parents were fine, but it took a while before they got it. i can only imagine how long it’ll take for everyone here.”

senku was quiet. have you over explained yourself? was it too overbearing? in all honesty you’d only been good friends with senku a short while; you should have waited at least a little bit longer before letting him in on something so personal—

“it all, it all kind of makes sense now.”

you gave him a look up and down. it was possible, but you didn’t think there was much of a chance that senku would be so..cool with it. not right away. you expected some form of silent treatment for at least a day or two, so he could collect his own thoughts.

you stared at him like your brain short-circuited. what the fuck is he gonna say to me.. oh god, he doesn’t wanna be friends anymore. but he’ll be too nice to kick me out of the village. but it is his village—

Okay. Let me preface this by saying I don’t like Taylor Swift. I think she’s a boring artist, who brings close to nothing to the table. The reason I’m even listening to Reputation is because I keep getting recommended an interview of Jack Antonoff where he talks about New Year’s Day (which is a song on Reputation) and I really want to watch that but I also want to know what the fuck he’s talking about. Final Thoughts On The Album

It was better than Lover.

I expected this to be a concept album, all about the drama she’s gotten into? But it was just boring love songs with some extra flair. I expected great things from this album, having only heard LWYMMD from it before this. A concept album that’s just an answer/clapback to everyone’s who wronged her à la Yellow Flicker Beat (I know it’s for a movie but that song slaps and I don’t know a thing about Hunger Games) would’ve been PERFECT but it was just... love songs. I need Taylor to stop singing about love and start serving us big meals.

I would not like to revisit this. Like, 5/10. It could’ve been a lot better, but it wasn’t because you’re too afraid to cross some lines, Taylor.

She tore off her clothes and and headed towards the bathroom fixing a warm bubble bath. She used to fix a bath like this whenever her parents faught. It was a nice escape, feeling the warm water surrounding her body, as she breathed in the fresh lavender scent. She slowly slid into the water, basking in the only warm presence around her.

She leaned her head against the edge of the tub, closing her eyes, remembering his change in actions. Toward everyone especially her. He became colder than when they first meet. He lost the gorgeous spark in his eyes, that now portrayed nothing but hate and hurt.

"Dr. Carrera, get off your damn phone and get back to work, now".

She looked from her phone where she was looking at a medical article, for research on a patient.

Ethan looked up from where he was twirling his glasses boredly.

"Just dont screw up".

Naveen looked at him expectantly, waiting for him to continue, but...he never did.

"With a sigh he turned back to the interns.

"Go forth and prosper".

Everyone got up from their seats rushing to meet their attendings.

"Dr. Carrera".

Rina turned around to see the beautiful Souther woman from the supply closet.

"Oh hello Blanche, do you know who your attending will be yet"?

"Oh yes. I got the grumpy one".

She smiled nodding to where Ethan was pushing through the hoard of interns.

"Oh, Sweetie, he's tough but, you got this".

Rina lazily threw an oversized sweatshirt over her head as she walked, over to her bed, violently flopping down. She held her pillow to her chest, letting the tears fall freely.

Two Hours Later:

Rina lay looking unblinkingly at the ceiling fan. She watched it go around, and around until she felt herself getting nauseous. She looked away, grabbing for her phone. She quickly opened the messenger app, tapping at @bi-cookie 's icon.

She always new she could turn to her bestie, for loving support. She quickly typed a message giving her the latest on the Ethan front.

@bi-cookie : are you really gonna let someone have that much control over your life and emotions? Or are you gonna take back control?

Rina studied the message for longer than she could remember, she had lost control of her life. She had willingly handed over her heart to Ethan watching him toy with it, breaking her heart in every way imaginable.

But tomorrow was a new day, tomorrow she took back control.

The Next Day:

Rina stepped into the hospital. Everyone could feel the confidence radiating off of her, as she made her way past surgeons, nurses and doctors. She new exactly her destination. Not her physical one, but her emotional one, and she loved where it was headed.

She didn't need a man to validate her work, and she never would.

“Welcome class,” the teacher greeted you all brightly, “I’m glad you could make it after school today, what with all the rain and all I assumed only two or three of you would have shown up today. Anyways, you know what to do. Best get to it.” She clapped her hands, before turning her heel and moving to write on the board, writing ‘Integrated Arts Club’ in a cursive calligraphy font. That was her contribution to the club. Calligraphy.

You sighed. This was a way for you to escape the harsh reality of the outside world. Half the students in this club were members of the community, no scratch that, the majority of students were gay. There was maybe only one or two straight people apart of this club.

You took out your paints, paintbrushes, pencils, and then got your canvas from inside the supply closet where you had left it yesterday. It was your newest project, a painting of a woman in white, with bright red lips and a black dress that blended into the black background of your canvas. You were inspired by a woman you had seen one night on the streets of Queens.

Taking a seat by yourself- taking up the whole table with your paints and brushes spread everywhere- you began painting. Everything was already finished, you just needed the details. You heard the door open and close, only choosing to look up when you finished an eyelash stroke.

“Yeah, this is where I go after school. That over there is Mia- the one spray painting the poster paper- and the dude over there with the guitar is Jay. That over there is (y/n), their bigender so I’d just use androgynous pronouns for them. Over there is Ms. Burningham, our club sponsor, and the dude in the corner is Max, he’s a comic book artist. You’d fit right in, Peter.”

The voice belonged to MJ, a close friend of yours. She often helped give you inspiration, letting you paint some of her sketches to life. You heard her walk behind you, leaning down so her hair was in your peripheral vision. You looked up, “Yo, MJ.” You smiled at her, then up at the newbie.

He was short, about an inch or so shorter than you, with brown eyes and hair. He wore a sweater over another shirt, jeans, and ha a camera in his hands. He was trembling, probably nervous.

“Hey, ahh, who’s this?” You asked MJ, who looked at Peter. She leaned back against the table, her palms getting paint on them from the splatters that had fallen off your plate of paint.

“Parker- Peter. Peter Parker. Nice to meet you.”

He went to shake your hand, you lifted yours up to show him you had gotten black and red all over them, “Sorry, dont wanna mess up your hands. That camera looks expensive.”

Peter made a small ‘oh’ noise, looking down to his small Canon camera. “Yeah, it- its almost completely brand new. I sold some of my old stuff to get it. Useless stuff, shirts and books and stuff.”

“Cool, cool. Uh, MJ, could you tell Jay to keep it down over there? Can’t hear my own thoughts over his wanna-be indie music,” you said, completely disregarding the boy in front of you now. It wasn’t that you were rude, you just wanted to get this painting finished hole everything was still wet, otherwise it would make problems later on. MJ rolled her eyes, but nodded. You flashed Peter a smile, before turning to you painting.

After about a minute of silence, you heard a gasp behind you, “Holy shit- that’s really good!” You looked up, seeing Peter next to you with his camera turned on. He blushed, “Sorry! It’s just you looked so calm and pleasing, I snapped a quick photo while you weren’t looking- sorry.”

You half-smiled, standing upright, “Thanks, and it’s okay. This class is freedom of expression. Just not expression, ‘kay? As in, no swearing,” you laughed and pointed to the lady at the front of the class, her hands busy grading the Latin worksheets. Peter nodded, surprise clear across his face, “Oh- sorry.”

“Can I see?”

“What?”

“The pictures, can I see? I mean, they're of me, right?”

“Oh- yeah! Totally!”

Peter pushed a few buttons on his camera, and he scrolled through some of the photos until he found yours. “Here-”

“Wow, i look hot!”

You moved closer to Peter to get a better look, gawking at the aesthetic that was put into one simple photo. You did look good in this photo. “Mind sending me this? Not just this, other stuff, too. I’d love to make a piece from these- oh, if that’s okay?”

“Uhh- yeah! Sure!”

You flopped onto the bed, curling up next to a pillow. It was cold from loneliness, making you snuggle closer to it. You looked at your nails- paint ad managed to get wedged between the nail and the skin, and no matter how hard you tried it wouldn’t wash away.

You sighed, ready to turn off the light until your phone went off. You checked it to see there was a message from MJ, asking you if it was okay to give Peter your number. You texted back, ‘Yeah. Totally.’

Three minutes later, your phone went off again and it was Peter.

The next day, you bumped into Peter in the hallway, “Oh, hi Pete. Can I call you that?”

“Hi, (y/n)! Yeah, totally cool!”

“Cool, got the hard drive?”

“Yeah, right here,” Peter patted his jean pockets for a bit before pulling out a black and red hard drive, “It has maybe 20 or 25 pictures here. Their mostly just random pictures of places around Queens, hope that’s okay?” You nod, “Thanks Pete.”

That night, you went home and changed Peter’s ID to ‘Pete’. After that, you plugged the hard drive into your laptop, opening the file titled ‘images’ and scrolling through the photos. Most of them were taken at impossible angles, and you wondered how Peter was able to capture photos like them. One was at the top of a building and looking down onto a busy interstate. Another was of the stars, a bit of the background trees getting in the frame. They were beautiful. Another was of MJ, her back towards the camera, a backpack strap in her hand, looking to the left at the sky with a sunset background. You saved that image as ‘Michelle_jERKFACE.jpeg’ on your computer. The photo Peter took of you earlier was amongst them as well.

You went to bed that night with a smile on your face and ideas fresh in your mind, ready for tomorrow's Club Meeting.

“Its fine, and yes I did like them. They were really good! How come you never joined before?”

“Never thought i was good enough.”

You looked at the scenery before you, trees brown and crisp from the fall air. Peter sat next to you, his camera ready to snap a picture at any moment. MJ sat opposite Peter, sketchbook in hand and sketching the trees and people. Ned was posing by a fountain as Peter playfully took photos of him. You started sketching Peter into your own book, smiling when you finished and began shading.

MJ looked over at you, “Damn, you’re gay for Peter Parker.”

You looked at MJ with a shocked expression, before looking at the sketch and at Peter, who was now out of ear shot.

“Totally,” you smiled, before both of you went back to your drawings.

Peter had your hand tight in his grip, pulling you through the almost empty hallways. His voice didn’t stutter, which worried you.

Finally, you made it. Peter pulled out his camera, “Stand in front of that street art Mia did yesterday.” You did just that. Peter moved your arms to move in front of your sweater, telling you to tug at it a bit and look up at the sky. He moved some hair in front of your face to cover your eyes. He knelt down, snapping the photo.

“Cool, now stay there.”

“Do you always get like this for a photo?” You asked as Peter pressed record, moving next to you, “What do you mean?”

“Nothing, um. What are you doing?”

“Its for a project. I’m gonna screenshot part of the video later. Please, this is important.”

You watched Peter as he took control of the situation, taking your (smaller/bigger) hands in is own, intertwining them as he leant up.

“Kiss me.”

You coughed, moving back. Peter moved his arms around you again, “Please?”

“Why?”

“The project- please (y/n).”

You slowly gave in, letting Peter wrap his arms around your waist as you looked down into his eyes, your hands cupping his cheeks softly. He leant up to kiss you softly. Both of you stayed there, afraid and unsure of how to move.

“I’m sorry,” Peter said after a while, moving away. You were quick to react, taking the back of his head and slamming it back onto yours.

He was taken aback by the action, soon melting and whimpering into it.

more trans ramblings (tramblings?) - to T or not to T, that is the question

so i’m writing this so i have some thoughts to show my therapist next week instead of scouring my brain for them but im posting it on the internet instead of keeping it in a word document or some shit cause i need some of y’all to relate and i’m already way too personal on here anyways. and also at this point this is my personal blog too, i’ve given up entirely on keeping it just for video games. tl;dr: please tell me i am not the only one with stupid amounts of doubt going against the stupid amounts of evidence that i am very transgender.

so as my last transpost said im very excited for my hysto that im nowhere near getting but im flip-flopping as to whether or not i want to go on t. i know i can get it fairly quickly if i decide i do want it. there’s a trans health clinic in walking distance from where i am moving in 23 days, i have 3 therapists who will write me a letter of recommendation for testosterone, and my mother even found me the trans health clinic so she’ll try to find me somewhere else to go if they don’t take me in for some reason. (having a supportive mom is great i don’t miss her crying about how hard it is to have a trans kid in january and february.) and i’ve looked thoroughly at the effects of testosterone and have sorted them into pros, neutrals, and cons. (posting it here again mostly bc i need to do it but i also need some of yall to relate and/or validate me and/or answer my weird questions)

pros:

voice drop. im so tired of having a squeaky voice which is exacerbated by me always being anxious, and my sister has a deeper voice than me and always tries to sing ridiculously low parts to stretch it for some reason which makes me feel insecure. and apparently my voice is “always squeaky” according to my dad and like? shit man i pass until i talk that’s just the tea. 

i dont even care if i have a super deep voice, i actually think i’d rather be a solid tenor because that’s the vocal range of most of my favorite songs, but i want to sound like a man when i talk and not an 8 year old girl

side note apparently a lot of trans guys have male “internal voices” but mine just sounds like how i sound when i talk because i’m a very literal person and that’s why it took me forever to figure out i was trans and not having a male internal voice makes me dysphoric sometimes and even doubt that i’m trans at all... that’s dumb af i know it’s just my literal personality type not me actually being a girl

more muscle. i dont work out as it is right now but if i knew i’d see results the way i want them then i probably would. also im getting ripped during the school year anyways bc i walk everywhere with a 15-20 pound backpack strapped to me so i’m at least gonna look semi muscular which is what i want anyways. please give me strength quite literally i can barely lift bro

bottom growth. ik it’s still not going to be ~enough~ or whatever but i’d have... something? that would be nice. 

side note would packers start to be uncomfortable with something there bc i wonder about that sometimes. not that mine is super uncomfortable now or anything (i just haven’t figured out how to make it sit right) but i wonder about that

having a more angular face. doesn’t happen to everyone per se but because of my facial structure as it is and also what my dad looked like when he was my age, i probably will get this change. i have actively wished for this since i was 13 and didn’t even know dysphoria was a word. hopefully it makes my lips a little thinner too or at least more masculine.

veins becoming more prominent. i have this one pic of me where it looks like i have Guy Arms and i just wanna look like that all the time ya know

facial hair. i know a lot of trans guys want this but i’ve never wanted one. i just want a jawline to cut a bitch tbh i’m never having more than stubble except the beard imma wear to my high school reunion

body hair. this is more of a pro-neutral ig bc i want it on my arms and legs but would prefer not to have a lot on my chest and stomach. fortunately i dont think my dad has a whole lot but i’m a pretty hairy afab person as it is i just dont wanna be a werewolf lmao

hair loss at temples. i just don’t care about my hairline enough for this to really bother me. maybe i will when it happens but *shrug*

scents of sweat/bo/urine changing? idk i feel like it will be weird, maybe gross if it turns out bad but honestly i don’t really care what i smell like as long as i don’t smell like a dumpster fire? i shower it’s fine lmao

rougher skin? i dont know if i’d like having rougher skin but i also dont like being an uwu soft boi so

acne. nobody wants it but like... i already have stress-acne right now and don’t really give a shit because i hate how my face looks anyways. not that i want a fuckton of acne because nobody does but im not gonna cry myself to sleep over it ya feel? it’s an annoyance but not really a con

cons:

increase in sex drive. not to be nsfw but masturbating is a chore as it is. it hasn’t been fun since i realized i had crippling bottom dysphoria and even then i can’t get off unless i’m completely distracted from my body (either through porn or being too tired to care). also i have like a 2% chance of ever having a partner so i really dont wanna have to deal with having the sex drive of a 12 year old boy when im 19, single, depressed, and dysphoric. im not even asexual but this is the worst con

emotional changes. yall know at this point i dont have the best temper, and i dont want t to exacerbate that. now, some of my friends have said that t has made them much calmer and actually less irritable, but the rest of my friends said t makes them angry. i have poor anger management and i know it. i don’t need it made worse. it’ll fuck my life up for real

increase in appetite. listen i have gastritis, ibs and acid reflux i cannot afford to be needing to eat more than i currently do

so as yall can see i have a fair number of all 3: 8 pros, 6 neutrals, and 3 cons. and what’s more, all of the cons are things that don’t have anything to do with my appearance (which my therapist and i noticed during our session a couple weeks ago and really made me think i should go on t). so then the answer should be clear: i should go on t, right? deal with having a fucked high sex drive and be pissed off because of it but finally be able to see my reflection in the mirror. so it should be obvious. what the hell am i waiting for?

the main reason i’m hesitant is i’m afraid i’ll want to detransition. even though i KNOW it rarely happens and the women who do thought they were trans because of unaddressed traumas relating to being female or have a personality disorder. i have neither of those things: the only female-related trauma i have is being slut shamed by my mom for wearing tank tops and any shirt that wasn’t a crew neck and one guy saying he’d rape me in 9th grade because he thought rape and sex were the same thing (for his sake i hope he’s grown the fuck up!! i’m not traumatized from this i just made my teacher not let him sit next to me in class and told him to stop talking to me. sadly this is the most sexual attention i’ve ever gotten), and the only mental illnesses i have are depression and anxiety (unless we’re counting dysphoria, which i definitely have). i also sometimes feel like i discovered it too late: i didn’t say “i’m not a girl” until i was 14, refused to explore my gender until i was 17, and didn’t fully accept i was trans until i was 18. and other dumb shit: i never tried to pee standing up so im not really trans even though i didn’t know what a penis was until i was like 9, ive caught myself twice recently wishing for longer hair which made me feel feminine and gross and dysphoric (even though i know hair length =/= gender??), and im not in danger of suicide if i don’t get testosterone and top surgery RiGhT nOw. the prospect of me detransitioning isn’t likely, when you look at all the facts, but the prospect makes me anxious because everything makes me anxious. i am the poster boy for anxiety. and yes, i know i would have said that even when i accepted that i was technically the poster girl but i would have said poster boy anyways because it was “gender neutral” and didn’t rub me the wrong way like poster girl would have. same reason i insisted on being a dude instead of dudette and only described myself with words that didn’t have a female equivalent in french class even if it wasn’t true. so what the hell am i waiting for.

like i know i shouldn’t be doubting at this point because it’s so, so obvious that i’m trans. just because i didn’t try to pee standing up when i was little or ask why i didn’t have a penis doesn’t mean i’m not a guy. i logically know this. like when i was 11 and i insisted to myself i had a male brain but knew i shouldn’t say that out loud because that was weird and i wanted to be a normal girl who didn’t have a weird male brain, and when i was 7 and at my friend sarah’s house and her room was super pink and girly and i literally thought the sentence “is this what i’m supposed to be like?” and when i was 14 and cut my hair into the Typical Queer Girl Pixie Cut and my hair was just??? gone like i wanted it to be when i was 9 and ended up with a bowl cut instead, and instead of looking in the mirror and thinking i looked like an owl when i was 9 i smiled at how “androgynous” (masculine) i looked, and when i was 11 and only hung out with boys at summer camp and they treated me like one of them and the girls were really mean to me but it was the best summer i’d ever had, and when i was 15 and my friend chris joked that i was the “guy” in my lesbian relationship and i was so fucking happy, and when i was 15 and starving myself because i loved my “angular” figure and jaw,  and when i was 16 and wearing a dress to winter formal because my ex met me in one and i wanted to be cute for him but i picked the dress that looked like a suit because it looked very “queer” (masculine), and when i was 14 and literally went “hmmm im gonna bind my chest just because i wanna know what it would look like” and it made me so euphoric and i knew in that instant i wasn’t a girl but repressed it for 3+ years because dealing with it would just be too hard, and when i was 11 and knew it was going to be my last day going to school without a bra on and just being so ashamed even though i wanted breasts so i’d be a normal girl, and when i was 16 and wearing that backwards snapback all the time and my friend said it was what tops did and i was so happy that nobody would consider me a bottom or whatever stupid shit because i couldn’t imagine myself being penetrated ever in my cisgender gay life, and when i was 16-17 and scouring the lesbian section of pornhub for pov/strap-on videos bc i wanted to know what it would look like to fuck a girl with a dick without watching straight porn because i’m 100% a gay female because the word lesbian is too girly im not a trans guy or anything haha, and when i was 14-and-onwards wondering why it felt so empty between my legs and why it felt like i was supposed to have a dick lmao im totally a girl though haha, and when i was 15 and had to google how to masturbate bc i couldn’t figure it out naturally and still felt like i was doing it wrong, and when i was 15 and looked at my vagina in the pocket mirror i got from selling like 30 boxes of girl scout cookies in 2007 and my first thought was “that is not my body,” and when i was 16 and actually very upset that i couldn’t ejaculate when i orgasmed. trans who? what the fucking hell am i waiting for

seriously. i was 7 and looking at my 2nd grade yearbook photo thinking “that doesn’t look like me,” and i was 13 and looking in the mirror saying “that doesn’t look like me,” and i went through all of my adolescence waiting for “puberty to turn me into a girl” and then i was 17 and done with puberty and crying because my body was still wrong. i can’t believe how hard i tried throughout my whole adolescence to be some facet of “normal girl” so i wouldn’t get bullied and be dateless forever and thinking “puberty hasn’t turned me into a girl yet” and not stopping to think about what i was if i wasn’t a girl until puberty was done, i realized it wasn’t going to happen, and it was too damn late for me. now i’m 19 and don’t leave the house without either a binder or a sports bra/baggy layers combo and i’d wear my packer everywhere if i could figure out how to get it to sit right (and also get it past my parents lmao).  like if anyone else rattled off that list of trans shit i wouldn’t question them for a second. but because it’s me and i’m like “what if i’m transwashing my memories? what if i’m gaslighting myself?” i’m still not on testosterone and please validate me. tell me other trans people doubt themselves, no matter how obvious it is that they’re trans. tell me it’s okay to doubt hrt, even though you know it will be so much more likely to help you. tell me it’s okay to be afraid of detransitioning, even though it’s okay if i DO decide to detransition and it’s so unlikely anyways considering all the evidence of Me Not Being A Fucking Girl.
