What was your favorite Hanna-Barbera ship characters back then and now?

what a neat question to get that gave me an excuse to draw ship art.

i once was a Snagglepuss x Mildew Wolf shipper. a snaggledew shipper,if you will. which was an early fav for me. but one may be surprised to know Scooby x Dynomutt(Anthro of course) predates that and was my favorite many many years ago. i still like it now but who's really drawing those two in this day and age?

So Scooby-Doo occurs in the DC universe. The Scooby gang has encountered and teamed up with the dynamic duo multiple times. Another show of Hanna-Barbara was The Blue Falcon and Dynomutt.

I headcannon that Batman sometimes teams up with Blue Falcon and Dynomutt as well as them visiting the other’s city. Not only that I headcannon that Big City is on the same Bay as Gotham and Metropolis. Now imagine Bruce Wayne going to Radley Crowne’s art exhibits and the two of them interacting. It could start off with them not knowing the other’s identity until the Scooby gang need the superheroes to solve a mystery.

Now additionally: Batman encounters Blue Falcon’s rouge gallery and just goes “let’s hope Joker and Gimmick never meet or Queen Bee and Poison Ivy”

I was watching Laff-a-lypics on Tubi, and in one episode, the challenge was that each team had to have a member rescue the princess (who was Daisy Mayhem for some reason) and Blue Falcon won. This gave me a couple of thoughts.

1. Why didn't they have three towers? One for each team with Daisy Mayhem being the Princess for The Really Rottens, Cindy Bear for the Yogi Yahooies, and one of the Teen Angels for The Scooby Doobies.

2. Because Blue Falcon is a basic Batman parody, does he have a Catwoman counterpart? Because of the nature of the shows he's been in, I'd argue that The Really Rottens are his most persistent enemies

With that, I decided this was a crack pairing I could get behind.
