Ren: What should we do today?

Stardust: Um…definitely find the next town.

Ren: True…heh.

*Ren keeps walking, he pauses and looks at a lake at two trainers battling there. One throws a pokéball and a Vaporeon stands, ready to battle.*

Trainer 1: My Vaporeon will wipe your Electrike out!

Trainer 2: No way!

*Ren sees a type disadvantage here, he runs up and tries to stop the battle*

Ren: Stop!!! You're at a disadvantage and your Vaporeon will get hurt badly!

Trainer 1: It's just a pokémon, if anyone should be worried about their pokémon getting hurt; it's yours. That pink mess! *He laughs*

Ren: Stardust may be pink but he packs a punch!

*The trainers laugh together, Stardust growls and jumps out in front of Ren to defend him. The Sylveon was ready to battle if need be, Ren looks*

Trainer 1: Two on one huh?

Trainer 2: Sure!

Ren: If you want to battle Stardust, let's do this!

Stardust: We got this!

Trainer 1: Vaporeon use bubble beam!

*The Vaporeon uses bubble beam*

Ren: Stardust dodge it and use fairy wind!

*Stardust dodges and use fairy wind*

*The Vaporeon gets hit and falls over but gets back up*

Trainer 2: Electrike use thunderbolt!

*The Electrike uses thunderbolt*

Ren: Stardust!

*Stardust takes the hit, he gets back up quickly*

*Ren is worried about his pokémon but doesn't show it*

Ren: Stardust use swift!

*Stardust use swift and hits the Electrike*

*The Electrike felt that one for sure*

Trainer 1: Vaporeon use Hydropump!

Ren: Stardust dodge it and finish this with your amazing singing!

*The Vaporeon uses Hydropump*

*Stardust dodges it and uses fairy wind and the Vaporeon and Electrike fall*

Trainer 1: No! Not possible! Vaporeon get up!

Trainer 2: I'm impressed…good job kid…

*The 2nd trainer pulls his Electrike back in the ball and leaves*

Ren: Good job Stardust!

*The two play around, Ren looks at the trainer. The trainer takes his pokémon to the pokémon center, Ren decides Stardust needs to go too*

Ren: My Sylveon was in a recent battle. Can you heal him?

Nurse joy: Of course dearie! Will take good care of him.

*Stardust didn't like being away from Ren but had to get healed*

*Ren waits, he sees the trainer trying to get his Vaporeon out early*

Trainer: it's fine!

*Stardust runs past the Vaporeon, he spins. Ren kneels to him, Stardust wraps his ribbons around his neck and shoulders. The Sylveon jumps up and puts his paws on his knees*

Ren: I missed you too.

*Ren hugs him*

*The Vaporeon sits and shakes in pain, she was tired*

*Ren walks over to the trainer*

Ren: Dude, let Vaporeon rest…they're shaking.

*Stardust nudges the Vaporeon*

Vaporeon: No more…

*The trainer pulls the Vaporeon in the pokéball and leaves*

*Ren and Stardust follows, it was a hot day*

*The trainer was trying to get the Vaporeon to battle, but the Vaporeon was refusing to listen to her trainer*

*The trainer puts her back in the pokéball and leaves her in a hot area*

*Ren comes up and releases her from the pokéball and picks her up, he runs to the pokémon center to save her*

*Stardust follows, very concerned about her*

*Nurse chews Ren out but Ren explained that he rescued her*

*The two wait for a couple days for her*

*Ren holds her paw*

Ren: You'll be okay…Dewdrop…wake up please…

*Stardust puts one of his ribbons on both them*

*The Vaporeon wakes up, very disoriented*

Ren: Hi baby.

Vaporeon: Where am I?

Ren and Stardust: The pokémon center.

Vaporeon: Where's Bob?

Ren: Gone.

Vaporeon: Oh…

Ren: I take care of you Dewdrop.

Vaporeon: Dewdrop?

Stardust: a name!

*Dewdrop smiles and licks Ren*

*The three leave, Ren loves his pokémon*

Ren: To the next town! Make more friends!

*Dewdrop and Stardust agree, they follow him*

I think with Eevee they question their gender alot and then work in the same maid cafe with glaceon who's a trans gal and like it's a cute apprenticeship relationship and she's like a mentor to them and then like with a high amount of friendship they fucking comedically explode but becomes transfem/enby Sylveon who uses any prns tbh

as we know sylveon is a trans, particularly transfem, icon. this is presumably because eevee are predominantly male, meaning a trans sylveon would be more likely to be transfem.

now, I bring you: transmasc icon hatterene, because all of the hatenna line are female and therefore, if trans, would be transmasc (or nonbinary but I’m sure there’s another Pokémon that’s enby colored). also I’m transmasc and I love hatterene. I rest my case

Hi! Can you do a pronoun validation thingy for me? I'd like to be called Sterling, and I'd like to try out they/them and he/him pronouns (I'm nonbinary and my current defaults are she/her, although sometimes I don't feel fully comfortable with that so I'm doing some experimenting).

Sterling wants to try out new pronouns to see what they’re comfortable with. He has an eevee for his icon on tumblr, and they probably like eeveelutions. You might assume that eevee is their favorite pokemon. I hope Sterling finds pronouns that work for them, and I wish him luck in figuring it out!

As the party was wrapping up, Matcha went for one last lap around the ball pit (their new favorite game). Inari let them go for a bit before calling out for them so they could go home. Matcha was normally well-mannered, so Inari was surprised when the children didn’t immediately come running.

“Matcha?” Inari called again. “Please leave the ball pit. We’re heading home after we say our goodbyes!”

Matcha chittered excitedly in response, only one body visible above the sea of plastic orbs. Then, after a moment, Matchaf began pointing and gesturing toward where their other half had last gone under.

Inari squinted as Matcham emerged with something in tow, unsure what the hybrid was holding…

Was that a…? It was an egg, one with a pattern Inari found vaguely familiar… WAIT. No way. That was a—
