Dorian Storm – Type 3(w2): The Entertainer

Threes are attractive and charming. Ambitious, competent, and energetic, they can also be status-conscious. They are diplomatic and poised, but can also be overly concerned with their image and what others think of them. They typically have problems with insecurity and self-acceptance. Threes are often looked up to because of their graciousness and personal accomplishments. Threes enjoy motivating others to greater personal achievements than others thought they were capable of and are usually popular and well-regarded among their peers. Threes are often successful and well-liked; no matter how success is defined, threes will try to become somebody noteworthy in their family and their community – they will not be a ‘nobody.’ Consequently, threes learn to perform in ways that will garner them positive attention and praise: as children, they learned to recognize the activities that were valued by their parents or peers, and put their energies into excelling in those activities. Threes also learn how to cultivate and develop whatever about them is attractive or potentially impressive. Enneagram 3w2s tend to be sensitive people who strive for appreciation and being worthy of love. Every move they make is a high performance. They often have a great sense of humor – as long as everything is working as planned. Their strong dedication and stubbornness makes them a source of inspiration to others.

Type Eight (8w7)

Coriolanus demonstrates throughout the text an almost obsessive fear of vulnerability. It informs many of his decisions; by the end of the novel he resolves to never allow himself to experience love again, as the loss of Lucy Gray and Sejanus have left him feeling weak - and this feeling of weakness almost visibly drives him mad.

Coriolanus falls into the trap of the type 8 personality of relying on his sense of control. He tells us in no uncertain terms that he preferred Lucy Gray when she was in the arena, when he knew where she was and he was not susceptible to feel jealousy. He believes she belongs to him. He exhibits these behaviours with Sejanus and Tigris also. He is very assertive.

Coriolanus’ desire for power and control come from his belief that he is unrivalled in terms of leadership qualities, that at all times - he is the best man for the job. Everything that comes his way, he is confident that he is deserving due to both birth right, and the qualities he believes he possesses innate to him.

Type Three (3w4)

Coriolanus is deeply conscious of his image, and how that will lead to his success. He refuses to give even a hint of his poverty and hunger to his classmates at the Academy and will do whatever it takes to maintain the facade he believes will ensure his social success.

He is very charming and charismatic with his peers, having seemingly long-standing friendships with Clemensia and Lysistrata, and being among the few who don’t openly bully Sejanus during their time at school. He maintains a withdrawn and surface level friendship with all around him - and is very much bothered by the fact that Dean Highbottom does not hold him in high regard.

He is calculating in his diplomacy, withholding the true nature of Sejanus’ demise from everyone aside from Dr Gaul, and swallows his guilt immediately to turn on the charm for the Plinths, in order - once again - to ensure his own success. Sejanus describes Coriolanus as someone who watches everything and only weighs in when he deems it necessary.

Type Five (5w6)

As above, Coriolanus is highly perceptive. His ability and drive to have a comprehensive idea about his surroundings and peers are a kind of armour for him. He refuses to take anybody at their word and involves himself whenever he is spurred by the drive to be fully cognisant of events. To be in control.

He belittles Sejanus constantly for his reliance on emotion and opinion when debating the Capitol’s morality, and the value of the games. He is extremely logical in his approach to gamemaking - a trait that Dr Gaul values, and Dean Highbottom attempts to suppress.

He is isolated and secretive in both his goals and methods, needing only his own counsel and understanding to make any decision.

The Enneagram Types at a Pool Party

Type One: Probably laying out with big sunglasses on talking about how they could have decorated the pool better than the host did.

Type Two: Definitely made snack trays and brought them, giving everyone juice boxes, etc. They are also taking a LOT of pictures and talking their friends’ ears off. Type Three: Almost definitely the host of the pool party. Spends a lot of the time laying out; talks a lot about how much they spent on the pool, how beautiful it is, etc.

Type Four: Pretending they are in a movie while they lay out and stare off into the distance, occasionally dipping their feet into the pool. Type Five: Either stayed inside or, if they do decide to come outside, they are sitting in the shade on their computer or reading a book. Type Six: Making sure everyone has sunscreen on. Definitely had a checklist and is freaking out if they forgot to bring something.

Type Seven: Jumping off the diving board, going down the slide, doing flips, literally just acting like little pool heathens the entire time they are there. Little wild people. Type Eight: They might be laying out and are the person to yell at you if you tip their float. Has shoved at least three people into the pool. 50/50 chance they jump into the pool like the seven has been. Type Nine: Probably was laying out in a chair and fell asleep, they are absolutely getting sunburnt as shit and they know it, they don’t care they are just tired.

MBTI Type: INFP [The Mediator]

INFPs value time alone or with very small groups and can often feel exhausted after spending time with large groups of people.

They tend to focus on the big picture and don’t get lost on the smaller details. They have strong intuitions and often follow their gut instincts.

Mediators tend to prioritize emotion and make decisions that feel right. They are very diplomatic and can easily understand others' emotions.

They are very flexible in their schedules. INFPs like to keep their options open and tend to be more spontaneous.

Advisors defend themselves by numbing their negative emotions through routine and repetitive patterns. They avoid facing their own internal struggles by distracting themselves in this way.

Maura's Particular Brand of Insecurity (Moral Fixation)

I think it's just so interesting that Maura needs proof for everything, apparently except for this unfounded belief that there is something evil or horribly corrupt in her.

Serious answer; Take Me Back to Eden for Lilia. I think he would like it, especially for the surprise metal/screamo at the end.

My MBTI functions are all over the place, so I don't even keep track of it anymore. But my enneagram is 5w6, and has been very consistent in that; so, closest in personality to Jade Leech.

Piper Halliwell as 6w7

Piper - cautios, indecisve, controlling, craves stability.

Piper was the most adverse to the supernatural, wanting a normal, simple, safe life. She keeps this strugle constant throughout the series, and actively tries to live a normal life, despite the fact that it's simply not meant to be.

When she's at her worst, she tries controlling and tackling the issues in her life, to take them out. She lashes out, becomes unstable in her wants.

At her best, she is calmer, less prone to freak outs, takes control of her destiny as much as she can, and accepts the uncontrollable.

She is resistant to change, takes a cautious aproach to the new things and people in her life. Once she has been burnt, she has a very hard time giving another chance.

She is a people pleaser, even when it's at her own expense.
