the memes and jokes about biden dropping out are all great but PLEASE dont turn away and forget the victims of him directly funding a genocide. these are real people that are still being impacted by his cruelty, their tragedies are still ongoing and they need our support more than ever.
if I can suggest a Palestinian family to support, I'll highly recommend Yusuf and his family—who has been vetted for [here]. The GoFundMe breaks down the costs, including the urgent need for an eight year old child to have a kidney replacement, but only €8,404 is currently needed for his family to pay crossing and coordination fees!!

"Andreil should say I love you, that's how we have proof that they heal-"
Shut up! A fic once said Neil goes on a quiet search for the best Hot Cocoa brand, buying a different kind every time they run out, wordlessly cataloging Andrew's reactions to each new brand tested so he could find The One so that comfort hot cocoa on bad days can be a little more sweet!
Shut up! A fic once said Andrew dropped money on a house because the neighborhood was so quiet, so empty, full of old people and surrounded by woods that it turned Neil's brain off cus he felt safe enough for his hypersensitive threat perception to say 'yeah alright we're cool'!
Shut up! A fic once had Neil rail on the other Foxes for excluding Andrew from Secret Santa cus "they didn't think he cared" and Neil straight up told them that if it came down to them versus Andrew it wouldn't be them!
Shut up! A fic once had Andrew go on the hunt for clothes that wouldn't aggravate Neil's scars when they got extra sensitive on bad days, throwing out all his clothes with the Bad Texture and replacing them, honoring baggy size and boring colors and all!
I've talked about the Khalifa family a bit before, but I'd like to bring them to your attention again! They are a family with children who are trying to evacuate Gaza, and Iyad (one member of the family) routinely uploads updates to instagram. They are currently very low on donations, with only £4,351 raised of the goal of £31,000. Please help them out!!! You can even get the chance of winning a handmade doll skirt if you donate!!!

Nico referring to his mom as "Mama" implies he most likely at least used to refer to Hades as "Papa" and i 100% headcanon he still does but mostly in the manner of him having the entire Underworld wrapped around his finger for being the baby of the family
Trying to learn that it’s not my responsibility to create or maintain harmony in the lives of those I care about. They are allowed to have difficulties in their lives and struggles in their relationships with others and it’s not something that I need to ‘fix.’ I am not responsible for their happiness or peace. Their struggles do not make me a failure. All I can control is how I interact with them.
My therapist was so real for saying the meaning of life is found in connection.
People hug their friends when they meet up and hug them a little tighter when it comes time to say goodbye. My grandfather rebuilt the broken rocking horse my grandmother had as a child, a gift from her father. There's an indescribable ache that goes along with seeing someone you used to know intimately, the becoming of a common stranger. Coincidences that bind, one time I got an uber and the driver used to live in my home before me. It was the last place he saw his father alive as a child and he nearly cried when I told him the walls were still the same colour.
Has anyone ever gotten over their childhood best friend? Is that alone not a testament to the fact we are more than blood and bones.
This chapter broke me. The fact that the wife turned out to be a good person, the fact that after loosing everything in the war, Martha has managed to continue with her life has resound in me. It wasn't easy of course, maybe it was the hardest thing she had to overcome in her life (and this woman has been in two wars), but we are discovering this through her flashbacks, she is telling this as a storytime to Becky at teatime. So what does that mean? She already got over it, she survived. And you may think 'well of course, its been years' but i wouldn't judge her, i would even consider other reactions normal, like staying stuck in the past, because loosing the things and people you loved most to an absurd war simply is not fair.
Martha, you're so strong, i love you so much. I chose the picture of her breaking down after her performance because I understand how her dancing, having the chance to have a little of what she really deserved to live, could have reminded her of what it felt like to be alive.
