Aries: I’d probably say 50% venus 25% moon 15% sun — honestly this is kinda hard for me cause my best best friend is an Aries moon and I get along very well with Aries moons however… this one girl that I broke off all contacts with cause she was obsessive ( she still hasn’t stop💔💔 even though we stopped talking for 2 years, super creepy) 50% venus because omg literally almost every single lovely person I know has that placement it’s mad. maybe it’s bc my venus conjuncts theirs (I’m also an aries venus) they express love in a way I adore so 💕💕 for aries sun, 25% because I’m only close with one aries sun but she’s literally so fly I love. but she says some weird stuff occasionally though she’s too unfiltered HAHAHA love that.

Gemini: mmmm I’d say 50% gemini suns and 50% gemini risings. honestly, I haven’t met many gemini placements 😭 my sister is a gemini rising so i might be a little biased HAHAH sorry my bad my bad. i love gemini risings they always give me one of the best first impressions. i tend to get along really well with gemini risings and tend to gravitate towards them hehe. also for gemini suns, most are pretty cool. i realise that gemini suns tend to be really nice and grounded when you meet them but when you get closer to them they’re little devils IN A GOOD WAY hahah. all my interactions and memories with gemini suns are actually really good. they always promise a good time 🙏🙏

Scorpio: scorpio venus — I really love scorpio venus individuals omg. they’re always there for you and always ready to attend all your big moments without fail. I had this one friend who has a scorpio venus and she take time out of her own busy schedule to train me for my interview and we stayed at the place until like the sunset it was so wholesome. not only did she do that but she was with me when I got my interview results like I was so shocked I thought she stayed cause she also had something to do afterwards but turns out she had nothing to do and she planned to wait for me and leave right after omg i literally melted. I treasure her so much and because of that I’ve always had a good impression of her. super sweet individuals. little cinnamon buns, warm and sweet. they also really are big on physical touch cliché I know but it’s real HAHA. everyone should have a scorpio venus friend or significant other 😭😭💋💋

Sagittarius: sagittarius moons — out of all my close friends in my click, half are sagittarius moons, it’s literally mad. they’re such unique individuals all of them have different personalities even though they have the same moon. but one thing they all have in common is that they find the weirdest stupidest unfunniest jokes funny. it’s mad. I can pull out a photo of a cat on the ground holding a fish and they’d be cracking up like mad. they all really enjoy being around positive and responsible people, people who are like them. they always burst out laughing idk y they try to hold their laugh but they never laugh normally. Aquarius: mmm i haven’t really befriended many who have aquarius placements so this may not be relatable😭😭 sorry!! but I’ll have to go with aquarius moons. — I tend to get attracted to aquarius moons cause they seem really fun. idk why but they all seem like a ball of sun to me. they remind me of fluffy cows HAHAH. they’re really cool individuals and they’re really kind. super sweet people who are always willing to help you and take initiative LOVE THEM💕💕. wish I get to know more aquarius moons, they’re just so loveable and reliable. 🫶🫶😚

Pisces: pisces moons 50% + pisces risings 25% + pisces mercury 25%💕💕💕 — OMG pisces moons BRUU literally my babes. Hi! I'm not sure if you've done one before, and if you have, feel free to ignore this, I'll find the post, but do you have any tips on how to start your self love journey? I've been struggling from the beginning of the way and I've made some progress but I feel like it's not enough. And I'm not sure exactly where to go. I read so many posts on self care and self love but I don't know which to start with cause they all seem like something people who've been on that journey for a long time are doing. I guess I'm saying I'm lost and not sure where to start or continue 😅

How To Start Your Self Love Journey 🥰❤️‍🩹

1. Accept yourself and realize that you are worthy of self love: When you learn to love yourself, you won't feel scared of what others think about you, and you'll be able to embrace who you are. Figure out what you like and what you dislike. Create boundaries and learn your love language. This part of the self love journey is crucial. I recommend that everyone takes the time to figure out who they are and learn how to accept themselves.

2. Affirmations: Start using positive statements can help your brain think in a happier way. Even if you don't believe them at first, saying them repeatedly can make you start believing. Choose some positive statements and say them often. Write them on sticky notes and put them around your home.

3. Do Things You Love: No matter how busy you are, set aside time for activities you enjoy. Whether it's a short trip or reading a favorite author's book, prioritize things that make you happy.

The idea is to take charge and actively shape a life that brings you happiness, rather than settling for one that doesn't. Treat yourself kindly and give yourself the wonderful gift of a life filled with happiness.

4. Take Care of Your Body: A good 30 minutes of exercising can change your whole day and mood. Aside from exercising, you should change your diet to healthier options. The foods you eat affect your mood and energy. Don't forget to rest too.

5. Quit The Negative Self Talk: Self-talk is basically how we talk to ourselves. We tend to be really hard on ourselves. I wrote a post about it recently here. I suggest trying to find proof for your thoughts and questioning them. In short, focus on how you speak to yourself. Many of our thoughts are extreme or very black and white. Most of these thoughts aren't even original, our minds pick up so much throughout the day. Almost always, people project their own insecurities, values, fears, and opinions onto us. Treat yourself kindly.

6. Don’t Compare Yourself to Others: Comparison is the fastest way to bring yourself down. It doesn’t matter what other people are doing or how far they’ve come. Everyone works at his own pace. Everyone is unique, and no uniqueness is better than the other.

7. Don't Care What Others Think: This isn't just about rejecting criticism; it's also about not becoming too focused on compliments. Your value isn't determined by others' opinions. Don't rely on external sources to validate yourself. Your worth comes from within.

8. Forgive And Let Go: With emotional pain, we often extend our suffering by clutching onto negative emotions like guilt, shame, and resentment, sometimes indefinitely. Rather than releasing these emotions, we cling to them, replaying hurtful moments repeatedly, hoping the person who hurt us will feel the same pain. Yet, harboring resentment is akin to consuming poison and expecting our enemy to suffer. Clinging to bitterness doesn't alter anything; it merely confines us to our pain.

Forgiveness liberates us—it's about us, not the person we're forgiving. Prioritizing our well-being over being right, it takes responsibility for our happiness instead of placing it in someone else's hands. Happiness trumps being right. Freedom often hinges on picking happiness over being right. When someone makes a mistake, it can be more satisfying to let them believe they're right and move on, rather than stewing over it. Reflect on someone who irked you three years ago. Can you even recall them now? If so, does it still provoke irritation? If not, why invest energy in something you'll forget in a year or two? Once you genuinely forgive, release it entirely. Forgiveness involves moving beyond resentment, focusing on positive actions and intentions instead.

9. Start a Gratitude Journal: A grateful heart is a magnet for miracles. You attract more good things in your life by being grateful for what you already have. Understanding what gratitude is can help you on your self love journey because of how you appreciate what you already have. Especially when we are in a place where we are only focused on the negative things in our life.

10. Practice Small Acts of Kindness For Yourself: Treat yourself to outings and buy things that make you happy. Set aside money for little things you enjoy. Remember, even the small gestures towards ourselves matter.

I suggest forming the habit of creating habits that lead you toward your desired life. A book I recommend is "Atomic Habits" by James Clear. It shows how habits can be positive or negative, and how doing something small daily can lead to significant outcomes.

11. Surround Yourself With Positivity: Watch motivational videos, and follow accounts promoting self-love and body positivity on social media, and unfollow those who make you feel bad. In real life too. Keep a Pinterest board with uplifting quotes. Use positivity to counter negativity. Aim to be realistic with your thoughts instead of assuming the worst. Focus on positive outcomes, and if that's hard, start with neutral thoughts.

Don't go to extremes with forced positivity. Aim for practical positivity. For instance, you might not be the absolute best, but you're a hard worker and your best is valuable. You might not excel at something today, but you can improve over time through effort.

12. Do A Lot of Self Reflecting: Write in your journal. Spend time alone. This is how you really understand yourself. Challenge your insecurities and the things you imagine about others. Figure out if you're accepting less than you deserve or if you're moving towards improvement.

13. Get To Know Yourself: The journey to personal growth begins with recognizing and embracing your true self before you start building and improving.

14. Realize That Going on A Self Love Journey Is Not Easy: Embarking on a journey of self-love involves a lot of heartache and healing. You might come across various self-love activities and advice, but the key is understanding that it requires dedication and effort. It's not a simple task. There will be moments when you feel like you've wasted a lot of time, prompting you to reevaluate your approach. There will be times when you believe you're making progress, only to realize there's more to work on. It's essential to recognize that you're taking significant steps to unlearn old habits and make changes.

My suggestion is to genuinely take a moment to understand that self-love is a commitment. It's like building a muscle that needs regular exercise. Think of it as tending to a plant that requires consistent care. Recognize that self-love isn't always about positivity; there are challenges to overcome as well. It's a realistic journey that involves ups and downs, rather than just an easy path of happiness.

15. Discover Your Purpose: Discovering your purpose can bring more happiness and fulfillment to your life. Each of us possesses unique talents and gifts to contribute to the world. When you share what you're meant to give, you align with your best self. Follow what feels right to you. You don't have to have it all figured out.

16. Take Action: Instead of getting stuck in overthinking and planning every detail perfectly, take action. Even if you're unsure, take that first step. You don't need a complete roadmap; just follow the path that feels right and see where it leads you. Your initial step might not instantly lead you to your dream scenario, but it could serve as a foundation. Regardless of where you find yourself, value your current position. Understand that every action you take along your journey contributes to your ultimate destination.

17. Don't Start Everything Anew: You don't have to build your ideal life completely from scratch. Observe what others are doing that deeply resonates with you and brings you a sense of vitality. Is it their well-structured routine, their freedom from routines, or perhaps their ability to travel extensively? The more precisely you identify the elements that ignite your passion, the easier it becomes to visualize and shape your own desired life.

18. Act As If: Embrace the "fake it till you make it" approach. Hold the belief that whatever you desire is attainable, even if there's no current proof of its possibility. Behave as though it's already unfolding and remain receptive to opportunities that guide you toward your objective.

19. Surround Yourself with Like-Minded People: You tend to adopt the mindset of those you spend the most time with. Avoid people who bring negativity, and instead, connect with individuals who view the world as abundant. Invest more time with those whose thinking you aspire to emulate. If you're lacking inspiring connections, seek out new friendships.

20. Give: Giving is one of our greatest joys. When we have faith in the abundant nature of our universe and freely offer, we elevate our energy and create an opportunity to receive abundance in return. To reshape your life, begin by realizing that you are the author of your life. When you decide to draft a better script, your life becomes more meaningful. To let go of old narratives, first, be aware of them. If there's something you want to do but haven't, ask why. What's stopping you? Every story you tell serves a purpose, whether it's healthy or not. For instance, if you believe you're depressed, you might avoid exerting yourself and receive attention. We often prioritize the benefits of our stories over our actual desires. Comfort becomes more important than seizing control of our lives.

Once you identify old stories and their hidden gains, compose fresh, empowering narratives. To make these new stories your reality, focus on them. Embrace the happiness and excitement they bring. Use them as affirmations, repeating them until they replace the old tales entirely.

Self love can lead to you to big personal transformations.

You'll treat yourself with greater compassion and understanding. Your self-support and ability to forgive will bring a sense of calmness. Embracing self love enables you to truly live and embrace each moment. Through it, you'll have more love to give to others, improving your relationships. Book Review: Book 1: Stop People Pleasing (a 9-part series by Patrick King, “Be Confident and Fearless.”)

I’m reading a 9-part series by Patrick King, “Be Confident and Fearless.” His books talk about becoming assertive, saying no, not people pleasing anymore and being confident. Generally, such books are quite generic but I found his take on the subject interesting. His techniques to handle certain situations seem to be quite doable too. His techniques have been highlighted in bold.

Book One: “Stop People Pleasing”

A people-pleaser is worried about rejection. They have a need, as we all do, to be accepted and treasured—to be loved. But in people-pleasers, this need is amplified to the extent that they will bend over backward just to not lose that love or acceptance. This is more invalidating than giving an honest opinion.

In reality, people-pleasers continued promises and inaction just tick their friends off, as it becomes apparent that they are willing to be dishonest and only say what people want to hear.

They’re not really doing what they do to improve someone else’s life—they just want to feel more positive about themselves.

-

Living under the limitations of our own viewpoint, we tend to think everyone in our circle is looking at and judging how we look and behave. At most, maybe a couple of people are paying attention to most of your moves, and they’re likely people you’re already close to who are supposed to know you better than anyone else.

When you’re so consumed with the perceived needs of others, you’re not paying yourself any attention. You could be overlooking or ignoring things you need to do to take care of yourself.

Avoiding confrontation for fear that it might only make things worse ironically results in the very outcomes it’s meant to deflect. The absence of confrontations doesn’t mean your relationship is all healthy, and the presence of confrontations doesn’t mean your relationship has gone to the dogs.

The BLUE model is a specific CBT strategy developed by PracticeWise to help counter negative thinking. BLUE is an acronym that stands for the kind of extremely negative thoughts you should recognize in yourself when they do pop into your head. “B” stands for blaming myself, “L” is looking for bad news, “U” means unhappy guessing, and “E” represents exaggeratedly negative thoughts.

What many people-pleasers fail to see is that sacrificing so much of themselves in pursuit of serving everyone else around them is sabotaging their very capacity to continue being there for others when it truly matters.

Rejecting an invite is not the same as rejecting your friend and that prioritizing your own peace of mind by just settling into a restful weekend is totally okay.

Ask yourself, “What are the things I do to be happy?” or “What are the core beliefs I have about my worth as a person?”

Exposure therapy is the process of deliberately placing yourself in situations that cause you fear and anxiety. You’ll need to immerse yourself in your feared situations in a gradual and progressive manner, starting from situations that cause the least anxiety and later advancing to those that cause the most intense feelings of fear.

Creating your fear hierarchy. The fear hierarchy is an ordered list of situations that elicit your fears and anxieties.

The first habit we must develop is the habit of self-awareness. We don’t understand why we people-please, and we’re not aware when we’re doing it.

This begins with questioning the motives for your actions: “Why exactly am I going out of my way for this person?” “Do I genuinely care for them, or am I just afraid of what might happen without them?” “Would I be doing this out of free will, or am I doing it for someone else?”

Take note of the moment you’re starting to feel internal resistance. When that happens, stop everything and question why you’re doing it.

The second habit to cultivate is the habit of personal autonomy. An autonomous person knows what they truly believe and why they believe it. But the differences that you’ve valued your own opinion over that of others. Or you’ve at least valued it equally and not by habit put your own opinion as inferior to that of others.

That’s why it’s important to get into the habit of expressing yourself honestly. The more you communicate where you stand, the more people will know where you’re coming from (and what your limits are). After all, people can’t read minds, and to expect others to know what you want is an impossible task.

Remain strong under pressure. When you stop people-pleasing, you will face some angry reactions. It’s not necessarily their fault because you have conditioned their expectations. But this is where you must not fold under pressure, like you previously would have. It only takes five seconds of extreme willpower, and it gets easier every time thereafter.

How to set boundaries:

1. Determine your core values

2. Change yourself and only yourself. You dont control other people

3. Set consequences of someone else breaking your boundaries. Write down the boundaries you have, the actions others might take that trespass those boundaries, and exactly what you will do when they’ve violated your boundaries.

4. Communicate your boundaries to others in very exact terms. Make sure everybody’s very, very clear on what your limits are.

If you tell yourself “I can’t,” you’re simply reminding yourself of the limitations you’ve set for yourself. You’re creating a feedback loop in your brain that tells you that you can’t do something that you would normally want to do.

When you tell yourself “I don’t,” you’re creating a feedback loop that reminds you of your power and control of the situation. You’ve given yourself a line in the sand that takes the situation out of your hands. Your choice was premade to say no and thus you can stick to it more easily.

It felt like your heart wanted to free itself from your rib cage and claw its way out of your chest.

Sweat was running down your back, while your hand twitched to where your rapier normally hung. But today the spot was empty. There was no need for a rapier, today you were facing another horror, Christmas at Portland Row.

Lockwood had invited you at the Fittes Christmas Party to spend Christmas with him, Lucy and George at Portland Row. Since Quill had to work, you had agreed. Too late it occurred to you, that you had no presents and that you couldn’t find any at such short notice. When you had told Lockwood these concerns, he only had said that you didn't need to bring any gifts, your presence was gift enough for him. Normally if somebody had said something like this to you, you would have made a run for it. But you were so whipped by Lockwood, that you had just smiled at him. You already felt sorry for Lucy and George who had to put up with you both all day.

Wiping your sweaty hands one last time on your winter coat, you rang the bell. As if he had been waiting for you, Lockwood opened the front door in an instant.

“Hello love”, he breathed, beaming all over his face.

“Come out of the cold”, he urged you inside, “May I take your coat?”

He was rushing around you, trying to make you feel welcome. It was sweet. You couldn’t remember the last time somebody did something like this for you. Over his shoulder your eyes met Lucy’s, who was just coming down the stairs. Seeing you two together she started to grin like a Cheshire cat.

“Y/N, I’m so glad you decided to join us today!"

She skipped down the last steps, before pulling you in an unexpected but welcome hug.

“I have something I urgently need your opinion on."

Ignoring Lockwood's protest, she took your hand and pulled you into one of the adjacent rooms.

“You will get her back soon enough”, she yelled over her shoulder, before the doors closed behind you two.

The room Lucy had pulled you into was an office. Looks like this was the place where Lockwood and Co handled their business. For an agency not exactly know to be professional it looked surprisingly competent.

“When Lockwood told us this morning, that you would join us, I started plotting”, she started to explain and rushed to one of the desks. Alarmed your eyebrows shot in the air. You didn’t like the evil grin which slowly took over Lucy’s features.

“I bought matching Christmas sweaters, but of course Lockwood don’t want to wear them”, she pulled said sweaters out of one drawer of the desk, and wow were they ugly. You could understand Lockwood.

“It would be the greatest Christmas present, if you could convince Lockwood to wear it.”

Sceptically you twisted your mouth.

“Why do you think I can convince him when you've already failed?”

“Because he likes you a lot for a very long time. He started to like you before I even came to London. And if you would wear one of the sweaters, he would totally take the chance to match you.”

“He started to like me before you came to London?”, you echoed and of course you concentrated on this part. Wasn’t that almost two years ago?

“When I came to London, he was talking no stop about this cute girl at Fittes. I was so excited to see you for the first time, which only happened after two months.”

Wow, hearing this make you feel giddy. He really liked you, you already guessed that after the Christmas Party, but to hear it was something else.

“And for you, it counts like a Christmas present?”, you made sure and Lucy, grinning from ear to ear, just nodded.

“Deal”, waiting you held out your arms and Lucy didn’t need to be told twice.

“This will be the best Christmas ever!”

You quickly changed into the sweater before the doubts could take hold of you. Of course, you would look better in the outfit you planned, then in this sweater. But Lucy told you that Lockwood liked you already for a long time, so this should be fine.

Unsurely you smoothed the sweater while Lucy left the room but not before sending a wink in your direction. As soon she left, Lockwood came rushing in.

“Did you already miss me?”, you joked, toying with the sweater Lucy gave you for Lockwood to wear.  He grasped the situation at one glance.

“She did not!”

“She did.”

“But if one person can wear this then you! Even wearing a potato sack, you would be the most beautiful person for me, love.”

Fighting a blush, you tried to concentrate at your task. But when Lockwood was talking like this it was fucking hard.

“Sweet talk will not help you, pretty boy.”

You shook the sweater in your hand invitingly and Lockwood grimaced.

“Do I have to?”

“I would make me happy”, you hadn't even finished your sentence when Lockwood started taking off his jacket. Slowly he loosened his tie. In a trance you watched his every move. His long finger fiddled a moment with the fabric and loudly you gulped. Noticing this he presented you with a bashful smile.

“If you wanted me to undress, you could have just asked.”

“Oh, shut up”, you laughed but couldn’t keep the blush at bay.

“Make me!”

He didn’t have to tell you this twice. Pushing him back, his back softly hit the bookshelf. He barely managed to let out a surprised sound before you locked his lips with yours. He didn't waste any time returning the kiss. Swapping your position, so you were pinned between him and the shelf, he deepened the kiss. His kisses felt like heaven, and you could do this all day long. Unfortunately, the human body needed oxygen to live, and you were no exception. Heavy breathing you both separated and gazed into each other eyes.

“How long do you think, can we stay here, before George and Lucy are coming looking for us?”

“There’s only one way to find out.”

After twenty minutes of snogging like the hormonal teenager you were, you left the office, wearing the matching Christmas sweaters.

Viewing Lockwood with his messy hair and swollen lips, you didn’t want to imagine, what you looked like. Anyone who even glanced at you would know what you had been busy doing. Not that you were ashamed.

Holding hands you stepped in the kitchen, where Lucy and George were already waiting for you.

“Ah finally you decided to join us”, George, wearing an apron, welcomed you.

“Hello to you too, George”, sending him a cheeky grin you didn’t let go of Lockwood’s hand and from the facial expression he wouldn’t either.

“The breakfast is getting cold, if you two don't plan on living on air and love alone, I suggest we finally start.”

You didn't need to be told twice, mumbling an apology, you let yourself be dragged to one chair, which was standing next to another while the other to chair were further away. Letting go of your hand, Lockwood pulled out the chair for you and only when you were comfortably seated did he take a seat next to you.

Lucy, sitting on the other side of the table, was watching all of this with a knowing smile. You couldn’t help but think about her earlier words, that Lockwood already liked you for a very long time.  You discreetly tried to peek over at him, only to see that he was already looking at you.

“What are you saying? Should I show you after breakfast the house?”, he whispered, while leaning over to you.

You could feel his hot breath on your skin and needed every strength not to blush because of this proximity.

"Maybe we could continue what we did in the office?”

But even you weren't strong enough, blushing profoundly you could only nod.

“Guys please, not in front of my food!”, George disrupted the moment and therefore caught Lucy's elbow in the ribs. You couldn’t help but laugh and shortly the other and even George joined in. It was nice to not spend Christmas alone.

After breakfast Lockwood showed you around the house, like he had promised. As you entered the living room the radio was playing an old song, you had loved as a child. You couldn’t help but hum along. Of course, this didn't go unnoticed by Lockwood.

“Let’s dance”, without waiting for your protest, he pulled you into his arms, which felt so nice. But you couldn’t dance. At the Fittes Party you and Lockwood had already danced and while he was a graceful dancer you had stopped counting the times you stepped on his toes.

“If you want to walk tomorrow without pain then we shouldn’t dance.”

But Lockwood didn’t think about letting you go. Slowly he started to sway with the music.

“Even walking with pain for 10 years would be worth it, if I could hold you in my arms for just a second”, he whispered in your hair and thereby successful making you smile the biggest smile of your entire life.

“You are not my boyfriend, so why are you saying this romantic thing to me?”

“So, you think I’m romantic?”

Of course, he concentrated on the second part of your sentence.

“That it was you focus on?”, looking at him and his beautiful brown eyes, you pulled up your eyebrows.

“I like you calling me ‘romantic’ more than calling me ‘not your boyfriend’.”

“I mean we could change it.” Sly you smiled up to him.

“Are you asking me to be your boyfriend”, Lockwood asked slowly as he couldn’t believe it.

“Maybe?”

“If you would, my answer would be ‘yes’.”

“Then I’m totally asking you to be my boyfriend.”

As an answer he just pulled you in for a kiss. But that was answer enough. You kissed till a flash of a camera interrupted you. Like deer caught in headlights you turned your heads, to see Lucy standing in the doorway, in her hands a camera and on her face a big smile.

“Don’t let me bother you. I just wanted to document memories.”

Giggling she walked away, and you turned to look back at Lockwood, who was already gazing at you.

“Like to continue where we stopped?”

“Can you give me a short recap, where we were before Lucy interrupted us?”

“Gladly”, gently cupping your face with his hands, Lockwood, your boyfriend, kissed you. Again, and again, and you were sure, that this was the best Christmas you ever experienced.

Since their guides are leading me to focus on how his FS treats others I assume the Capricorn placement lays in their 3rd or 11th house. Mercury, Venus or Mars are also options here. I do not mean they are edgy, quirky or anything of the sort but rather they are unapologetically themselves without the desire for approval from anyone. They don’t copy anyone to be seen different by other people, rather they just allow themselves to be who they are. Namjoon - Libra! I actually shuffled twice for this due to being unsure, and both times a Libra card fell out so I would say that’s a pretty strong confirmation. Now, his person is a very strong minded, honest and just person who always does their best to be level headed and fair in situations. A good human to the core, is what they aim to be. They have a really strong sense of personal morals and discipline that they make sure to follow even on their hardest days. A very self righteous person who just aims to better this world. Though, they are also very playful and can be emotional if things go differently from what they expected, where Namjoon comes into play and helps ground them. It’s a very interesting dynamic, they lack where the other excels at which just causes them to have more love for one another and want to help each other out in hard times. Also, the attraction between them is strong, Beyonce’s Dejavu is coming through strong as a sign so I thought it’s important to mention. Jimin - Scorpio! Now, I know that a lot of people think that Scorpio as a sign is a very mean and bad one to have anywhere in your placement but that is certainly not true. A lot of Scorpio people are very tender hearted and just want what is best for people, which his FS’ is not an expectation from. This person has a very good heart but could be misunderstood due to their looks as they could have sharper features or possibly a colder appearance. It’s the kind of scenario where you shouldn’t judge a book by it’s cover, you know? ‘Looks like they could kill you, but is a cinnamon roll.’ No, but seriously. This person is a really gentle person and desires the world to be a better place, possibly could often cry over world events that do not affect them, not because they are sensitive but due to having so much empathy within their heart. Due to this being the person they are to their core I do think this is either their sun sign or 12th house energy. [ death ]

Taehyung - Pisces! Now, I would love to point out that his FS spouse is extremely loving and most important of all mature. They will have a family together for sure and this person is very much aware of to take care of everyone in the way they need it yet they still feel like they aren’t lacking in anything at all, rather even grateful for the things that they have. Also, their loyalty is very much so highlighted and this pure, raw and genuine love they have for Taehyung. I am not saying he would, but even if he were to hurt them they would forgive him without having any kind of hatred in their heart. The best way I can describe them is ‘saint’. The kind of person to not judge, let alone hold a grudge towards their loved ones or anybody else. They were put on this earth because they are made to love wholeheartedly, really. My best guess is their placement being in 7th or 4th house looking at the fact that family and a stable home is very important to them.

Jungkook - Leo! Their person has a very fiery energy, I think the tower at the bottom of the desk proves this as its related to Aries. This person is very calm, collected, rational, intelligent and friendly, but, they are not going to shy away from a fight if they need to be involved in one. Especially if it’s about their loved ones. Of course, they will stand up for themselves too, but if a person they love or adore is being hurt or disrespected the person provoking them better prepare for what’s coming next. They can use both their words and their fist, whatever is necessary tbh. I do not think they look for fights on purpose though, it’s just that they have quite a strong personality and their own way of dealing with things. They don’t mean harm. As previously said, they are quite friendly and laid back. Really playful as well. Could at times playfully bicker with Jungkook, which he would actually like, it could bring out his competitive side a little bit. Aiming to “win”, I do think it’s something he likes about them. This could sit in either their 11th or 10th house although I think 10th is more likely. Possibly their moon as well.

Okay, I think some people on Twitter, hmmm

Why are some of them making this about q!Foolish and q!slime? I think some people are misinterpreting and assuming q!bad is being played the fool, but really, his grievances is more about being seen as a tool? Maybe they’re upset because that’s what their characters are going through? But they’re also ignoring other things q!bad did for said characters.

Sure he said some off things with q!slime and arguably pranks q!foolish a lot, but he also helps give them so many things, I don’t understand why people say he deserves this karma? I mean, q!slime did try to kill all the eggs before, his egg included. In rp, wouldn’t you be upset if someone did that? Q!bad usually tries to lean into rp whenever he plays on the server. He words were terrible sure, but he gave q!slime a full deck of maxed out armour and a backpack for basically free once, just because he felt bad for him. Even went on a little adventure to cheer him up. I understand that maybe q!slime viewers didn’t see this because it was on another persons stream and slime wasn’t streaming but that doesn’t mean it didn’t happen.

He helps to take care of Leonarda for q!foolish, and this isn’t to say q!Foolish is a bad parent, he’s a great parent! But it’s just that, so many people are saying q!bad deserves this law against him for wronging q!foolish? Land duo are just different in my opinion, they know when to push and when to stop, and it’s their thing. Q!BBH pulls pranks, but never really with the intent of permanent damage or significant damage. They’re almost always easily removed. Q!foolish calls q!bad names and they argue but that’s how they work. But if you want to argue their interactions a little, q!foolish also does leave and expect q!BBH to take care of his egg. There was even a weekend where q!BBH explained he would’ve liked a heads up, and q!foolish just said he already kind of expected q!bad would do it anyways. And there have been times where q!bad would ask for some thank you’s from q!foolish, for taking care of Leonarda at times, to which they banter and it never happened.

But this isn’t really about q!slime and q!foolish, so I don’t understand why people are so insistent in bringing up Bad’s wrongs with these two people? When this is his grievance. Saying he deserved it for the wrong he’s done with these two, when they’ve also done things that contribute to the build up on why he’d be upset? I’d rule out land duo personally, because I like to think they’re the only duo that can mess with each other and more or less understand, but if you’re going to bring it up, I’ll bring up my counter argument.

What his grievances is really about is starting to feel more like a tool, the government issues, and his relationship with q!forever. It’s about q!bbh, so why rope those two into this???

They say q!BBH treated them badly, so he deserves this. Q!slime tried to murder every egg after Juanaflippa died. Did he succeed? No. Does he regret it? Ye. No harm done yeah? But he did try to kill a lot of eggs, and the intent was definitely there, even if he’s apologetic of it later on. Do people have to forgive him straight away cause the intent was there, even if he was grieving and upset? I don’t think so. If q!slime did the same thing recently, people would be a lot more upset, seeing as to how they reacted when q!forever striked Leonarda during an intense moment.

I guess maybe it gives people more insight on the wrongs of q!bbh? Hmmm… But it kind of just feels at one point that people just don’t want to hear out his character at all, and just go ahead inserting other characters to discredit how q!BBH is being fleshed out. It feels a little unfair because when slime was upset, people were happy to support him, even so far as having six people defending him (q!BBH included) for attempted murder? And q!foolish lore where he felt isolated because of the pac and Mike arresting and being stuck in the nether. That lore was okay, and is appreciated. Why not this one?

I just don’t think it’s fair to call it karma? When all characters are a little morally grey. You can have favourites, but come on. And then saying he deserves it, despite the fact he helped out those two a lot as well. Feels a little in bad taste.

But this is again just my opinion, I’m not necessarily the best, and if you’d like to discuss, please do so politely! And if you disagree, just ignore this post and move on

bullshit bingo take of the day i just stumbled upon: "crowley only helps job and elspeth because he doesn't like hell and wants to spite them"

and i'm ashamed to admit it but that gave me severe anxiety. i usually ignore the bad takes but i'm not having a good day mentally and i feel like i'm going crazy so i guess i really need to ask. i'm no delulu right? crowley doesn't do it to spite hell and be rebellious but only because he's kind and selfless and wants to help and protect?

You know, this is the reason why I am cutting myself away from the Good Omens fandom more and more, and I might recommend you cutting yourself a little bit off as well - filter your dash with people who you know post the good stuff, things you love, and don’t look for general opinions etc anymore.

There are still awesome people out there who haven’t forgotten what this show and characters actually are.

I remember when I joined with Season 2 and told myself wow this is the first normal fandom I’ve ever been in - how?! - lmao, no. It is like every other fandom out there where you simply have to find your people and ignore the rest.

At the beginning I felt like it was insane and amazing how everyone got along, bloody hell, people posting opinions, analysing everything, the disagreements were kind, interesting conversations, so many clues being found, general respect, everything worked with canon so people agreed to disagree on little things… most of all so much love for the characters for exactly who they were and for the show for exactly what it was.

Cue in a few months later and everything is negative, characters are monsters, or pathetic, or whores/sluts/dogs, trolls everywhere, so much hate, and anon hate, canon is non existent, everything; the story and the characters and every scene are fetishised to the extreme and have nothing to do with what they have been portrayed to be, and actually apparently we were all wrong and Good Omens is an extremely hardcore sex show after all, and the metas are now how it proves that they should be in an extreme dom/sub relationship - yeah the two guys who’s whole story is that they need to be set free. Crowley is treated in a way that makes me feel sick at this point because people talking about the horrible things that should be done to him and saying it would be good for him actually makes me shudder. It is scary how so many people talk about sensitive topics that they don’t understand at all. Some takes are actually horrifying at this point and I hope they don’t genuinely have such opinions in real life when real people are involved. And the fans acting like such things are absolutely normal and this is how majority of relationships out there are like are frankly worrying me. Aziraphale was completely stripped off his personality too. So much to unpack about this insanity but I don’t want to dig into it. Not everything should be normalised.

In a way I wonder if there was an influx of fans who never watched the show, just know it from fics/fanart.

I was getting extremely angry about these things but I finally let it go and just blocked, and blocked, and blocked. Now I barely see anything like this. I had to step away from AO3. I scroll the dash a lot less. And I simply started focusing on other things again.

When it reaches the moment when you cringe seeing Good Omens because people ruined scenes for you - step away. That’s when I knew I have to start blocking and filtering because I didn’t want to start associating the show with cringe - it doesn’t deserve it.

Just find your circle of likeminded people. So this fandom brings you joy not a headache. And ignore the rest.

Another random thought of the day!

So I kinda like seeing law flipping people, idk why. So I was thinking, imagine whenever he wants to discuss something with crush he gets close and/or to your level, for example, if they are sitted down he might sit next to them to talk or something like that.

Imagine that he sat next to them to discuss something ( a plan, some information, their opinion) and someone who sees that he just sat to talk to them they ask something like " what are you whispering about?" And Law would just, flip the person and keep talking to crush regardless? Like f- you, I am busy right now.

Bonus point if they are someone an idiot like who keeps talking too, despite witnessing the whole scene, but also giggles a bit because idk.

I think the sight of his crush giggling a bit at his reaction may make him smirk or give a small smile!

I think pre-TS Law isn’t as intimidating so he’d have more girls trying to flirt with him whenever they go out. (Post TS I think most people would be too scared of him bc of the Rocky Port Incident and how he looks more… “creepy”? I guess? I can’t think of a good way to explain that). Anyway for this I’m going with pre-TS Law.

So he’s been dodging girls all night, because he knows all he wants is you. This shy nerdy virgin, rejecting all these pirate women that seemingly flock to him, plenty of free chances that he doesn’t take, all because he wants you, and only you. He’s already a bit peeved from having to constantly ignore them, so by the time he works up the courage to go sit with you (alone), he wants absolutely nothing to get in his way.

Law slides into a seat beside you, asking you casually, why you aren’t dancing or hanging out with the guys. He doesn’t clarify whether he means the crew or not, so you give him a look. He blushes, stumbling over his words as he just spits out “well- uh, I only meant… uhm. You’re just sitting here all alone, yknow?”

You nod, but brush it off. “Don’t worry about me, Captain. I’d rather be sitting in a corner by myself than getting wasted and aimlessly flirting with anything in sight.” It must be a dig at some of your crewmates, who are doing exactly that.

You and Law continue to talk, as it seems like he’s in the same boat as you. Only, you don’t know he’s trying to flirt with you. He’s so bad at it that you’ll never figure it out.

Anyway, you and Law are talking about something random and entirely unrelated to how he feels about you. It’s a very normal, pleasant conversation, but a random guy approaches, trying to sweet talk you. “This creep bothering you, honey?”

“Oh, no, he’s-“

“I can get you outta here, somewhere much safer… and warmer, even,” he winks at you.

“Oi,” Law snaps at the guy, flipping him off smoothly. As he lowers his finger, Law moves his hand to your back, protectively shielding you from the man.

The guy slurs something about Law, but stumbles away. Your Captain rolls his eyes, and goes straight back to talking to you.

Now, here’s one where the two are already together. Idk where else the setting makes sense, so once again… it’s a bar:

You and Law are standing together idly, watching your crew members make fools of themselves. The guys are shamelessly flirting with women, Bepo standing alone, head hung low as he seems disappointed that there aren’t any female bears in sight.

“Isn’t it funny, the sight of them all?” You giggle, leaning your head on Law’s shoulder. “I don’t think any of them realize how goofy they look when flirting.”

Law chuckles, wrapping an arm around your waist. “And they’re the ones who’d tease me for being a virgin up until we got together. Yet look at how hopeless they are.”

You laugh at his statement, placing a kiss onto your lover’s cheek. But, Law turns his head, causing your lips to land on his. Neither of you are sure why, perhaps it’s the lingering drinks you’ve shared, but there’s suddenly a fire between you two. You wrap your arms around Law, snuggling close into him, comforted by the soft yellow and black hoodie he wears brushing against your skin. Both of his hands are on your hips now, holding you close by your waist.

Despite being a bit tucked away in a darker spot of the bar during your makeout, it seems the crew has spotted the two of you.

“Captain! How about you two get a room?!” Penguin yells.

“Yeah, don’t gotta rub it in our faces that you guys wanna fuck!” Shachi adds.

You don’t hear Bepo, figuring he’s still sulking about the lack of love interests.

Law doesn’t pull away from you to tell the others off, instead you feel one of his hands leave your waist, and you peek one eye open, seeing his tattooed hand raised up, flipping your crew mates off. They stand there in shock, surprised by the captain’s response.

You simply giggle into the kiss, melting further into Law once his hand is back on your lower hip, tugging you closer to his body as he kisses you deeper, adding fuel to the fire between the two of you.

If anyone has not noticed I definitely have two different main squeezes that I will defend and love till my last breaths they are Miguel O’Hara and Rolan from BG3.

I have a type and that type is grumpy man who has a soft side that only special people get to see. There is also this cockiness that Rolan clearly has and Miguel kinda shows that I always eat right up!

Now Miguel, when it comes to my ideas about Miguel I love to keep that gruffness to him. I don’t like when people make him soft right off the bat because he has trust issues and trauma from his past. With that said, I still head canon him as an awkward dork. I think he has suaveness but I think more times than not he’s second guessing himself. I think Miguel wants companionship and wants to find someone he can trust and love with his whole heart I just think he might not always go about it the right way and ends up stumbling a lot as he try’s to get that or doesn’t think he deserves it and try’s to ignore his feelings. But when he does he would do anything for that person.

Rolan, oh Rolan… I literally fell in love with him at last light when he started to drunkenly yell at me. I also see Rolan as an awkward dork, but I think he is a bit more in touch with his emotions. He starts off as cocky and arrogant but will slowly lower his shields so people can see his softer side. Everytime I think of something with him I always but a taunting game aspect with him and who ever I’m writing him with. Rolan is also super fun to write for because of all the possibilities you can take his story. My thing with Rolan is I think he’s not the type to suddenly fall for a stranger but I think he pines for someone he gets closer to over time (not to say he wouldn’t be instantly attracted to someone just he wouldn’t love them at first sight). Rolan to me is the perfect character for a friends to lovers story, he has always loved you just now he feels worthy that he can show it.

Ahhhggg! I love these two so so much! They are both so protective and misunderstood and need all the hugs and kisses that I would happily supply.

Your father and mother knew the moment you were born that you are a gift from Eywa her self to them, it took them many years to conceive a another child. As you grow up, you are showered with so much love from your parents and older brother. Treating you with so much care that you became ignorant of the things around you. With your older brother always defending you with the other na’vi kids but when Jake Sully’s kids came into the frame, seeing them as they are free to do whatever they want. It led you to kept secrets from your family, always trailing behind from the Sully siblings. You always found yourself enjoying the forest, away from the siblings but you noted on your mind that you’ll come back here, remembering the paths they took.

Unaware of the young boy who have noticed you the first time you trailed behind his siblings, not wanting to be notice by you or his siblings, he trailed behind. Seeing how your eyes shine with curiosity and happiness discovering new places which he knew that his siblings have gone to many times, it made him happy. Your smiles never fails to tug on his heart, he would watch you from behind a tree as you take in the new place you have found. It has become his hobby on to follow you, as if you became one of his duties. His gut feeling always tells him to follow you, that if his eyes doesn’t see your frame, he would panic.

One night, you snuck out from your family’s hut. Your eyes scanning the area and when you confirm there’s no one else, you took off. Excited to have the place the Sully siblings have gone to, all to yours. Your envy was eating you up as you watch them play with the water while ago and you know for yourself that if you don’t go, you wouldn’t be able to sleep. While climbing at one of the Hallelujah Mountains, you heard voices. Afraid to be seen, you hid behind a bush and saw the Olo’eyktan and his mate.

You have always love the way they look at each other, the way their hands holds each other, the way they love each other. But as a child you didn’t have time to witness their time, to be dreaming about it. You were about to go and continue to your little trip, you step on a branch making a loud noise as it break into half. The night sky is silent and that the tiniest sound can be heard, it didn’t escape the Olo’eyktan’s ears.

“Who’s there?”

You bit your lip and saw them land on the spot you were in, your gaze drops on the Olo’eyktan’s hand as he grab his knife and you immediately jump out to show yourself. Afraid they will mistake you as an enemy. They immediately recognize you, who wouldn’t? Your family is of great warriors. Your tail wrap around your right leg as you fiddled with your fingers.

“Evi..”

You look at them and chanted behind your head they won’t take you home or atleast tell your parents. You clasp your hands together and held the couple’s hands. Taken back at what you just did, they both look into your eyes as if they were entrance with your pair of golden orbs

“Please don’t tell my parents and older brother about this. I promise I’ll come back as soon I’m done.”

The olo’eyktan looked at his wife and nodded at her, as if telling her that she’s good at handling kids. His mate, Neytiri, smiled at you and crouch down to be at your level, well atleast, your head tilt a little bit downward she caress your cheeks. She just knows how your parents took great care for you, your skin soft as a petal of a flower. Your pair of gold orbs that seems to pull anyone who looked into it

“My child, it is late at night. Your parents will be worried sick if they found out you are not with them”

You look away from her gaze and you know for yourself that if you go home now, it’ll be hard to sneak out. Although the thought of your parents and brother’s worried face cross to your mind. You let out a sigh and flash a sweet smile to Neytiri, you place your hand over hers and decided you will just visit some another time, you don’t want to have a bad image to the olo’eyktan

“Come kid, we’ll take you home” you shook your head making the olo’eyktan look at you with questioning eyes

“No sir, I got here on my own. I will go home alone. Don’t worry, I’ll go home straight away”

You saluted. You know what this gesture means, you often see their kids doing this and the whole lot of them would burst out into laughter. You heard Kiri, the second to oldest said that it means respect. Jake can’t help but just laugh and told you to not take detours and you knew better than to disobey the olo’eyktan’s orders.

That’s what you said but seeing the forest burn, the animals running for their life. You let out a gasp as you saw a bird got burn from the fire, your vision becomes blurry as you drop on your knees. Then you saw a ikran, screaming for help. It’s wings got stuck, you quickly stood up and tried to push the tree off and when you finally got it. The ikran immediately flew away and you decided to help the animals get away, you knew better than to disobey simple orders but you just can’t ignore the animals.

The fire spreads out rapidly as you run through the forest, making sure all the animals go to the same way. You were so into guiding them that you didn’t notice the thing loom over you, you only noticed it when a direhorse made a commotion and when you look back, your vision black out.

It has been hours now after the alarming commotion news that the sky people came back. Jake and Neytiri have gone back to the clan’s home and immediately woke everyone up, no time spared. Warriors directed the people as they all flee, Sully kids doing their best to assist their grandmother and the other people. Neteyam’s eyes scanned the surrounding and never saw your silhouette. Another hour passes and every people on the clan is watching their forest home, burn into dust.

Up from the Hallelujah Mountains, they all gathered mourn to everything they lost. Slowly they started to settle down, family embracing each other. Jake was about to gather his family and tell them that everything is going to be fine but it seems not

“Jake! Have you seen our daughter?”

Your mother called out and held his hands, his head whipped to the side where Neytiri is standing and her eyes is widened with horror

“We thought we just lost her to the crowd but no! She’s gone! My kid is gone!”

Jake catching your mother as she fell into her knees, he saw you father and brother land and made their way towards them. He suck up a breathe as he can feel the rage of your father

“The sky people must have taken my daughter! We must go at war!”

Your father screamed and in a second all the clan is cheering and gathering their weapon, with your brother leading the people. As the olo’eyktan, Jake raised his voice so all of them are gonna listen to him

“Listen! The sky people don’t play games! We need to have a secure, a well planned strategy. We can’t just sprint there! We’ll die before we get to hunt them down!”

He looked at his people and all of them went silent, they know how many lives were lost. Still, they can’t turn back an eye when a fellow clan member is taken. Your mother, known as a mighty warrior can’t stop crying, your father comforting her and your brother stood in silence as they all shared the feeling of lost.

One night. ONE NIGHT. Neteyam grit his teeth and march away as he slam his hand against the stone. If only he agreed to keep watch at night, if he only knew you were going to sneak out. If you guys are close! This wouldn’t have happened! He would protect you with his life! Sensing her brother’s anger, Tuk went beside him and held his hand

“I just know that Y/N wouldn’t like seeing you getting hurt”

The young Sully knows you, her always wandering eyes couldn’t help but notice the way you would look at them. Especially the look you give to her older brother. Neteyam shook his head and hug his sister, that night. He swore that the moment he will find you, he’ll surely bring you back, no matter what it takes.

A year later

“Hurry!”

Neteyam shouted to Lo’ak, Kiri and Tuk as the four of them ran towards where Spider fell. They encountered avatars that they have never seen, one things for sure, those people don’t bring any good news. Tuk screams the human’s boy name and aall of them quickly jog towards him. They were about to run when they heard a gun click. Slowly they turned their heads and saw a figure pointing a gun at them. The person is wearing the same gear the avatars are wearing but it was smaller as if they were the same age

“Don’t move”

Neteyam whispered and everyone nodded. Tuk hid behind her brother, her scared eyes looked up and for a moment she caught a glimpse of who the person is and her mouth immediately open

“Y/N?”

They all froze as you hiss and held your face high. The same golden orbs, they know it’s you. But who are you? Who is this person standing in front of them? Gone the life of your eyes, you look at them with disgust and hatred.

“It’s us! Sully kids, remember? Olo’eyktan J—“

“Shut up. I don’t remember meeting such fools.”

Your voice is like a venom, your words lace with hatred. Neteyam felt his heart crack, where was the girl he fell in love with? What happened to you? What did they to you? The thought of you suffering to the sky people’s arms made his boil blood

“Drop the human or get caught together with him. Your choice”

You shot and made the bullet graze the skin of Neteyam, he hiss at the pain making him drop Spider. You grin and shot again but this time, you shot behind them. Clicking your tongue with annoyance.

“Come out. I know you’re in there”

Neytiri felt her breath hitch ‘how did you know?’ is the question she ask her self as she step out into hiding. Putting her bow away she raise her hands, one wrong move would mean you would shot at her kids.

“I got the human boy.”

You said over the comms and immediately walk towards Spider and drag him away from them. You saw in their eyes that all of them look at you with sorrow. You let out a scoff and grab the knife on one of the pockets on your pants as you immediately turn around, blocking the knife of a bigher na’vi

“Dad!” Tuk rejoice seeing her dad as he got a good strong hold of you

“Snap out of it Y/N! You’re parents have been sea—“

“Parents? Don’t make me laugh!”

You raise your left foot and swing it forward but Jake grab it and you landed on your back as he kick the knife away from your hand but before he could knock you out, he was kick on the side with so much force the he cough up blood

“Didn’t think our meeting will be this quick again, Sully”

Jake glared at his long time enemy, Quaritch, Neytiri immediately grab her bow but before she can hit your colonel, you rolled to your side and throw the knife at her direction, luckily she was able to dodge, a rope drop down and you quickly latch yourself to it. Quaritch putting Spider at his back, together with the other avatars. All of you got back to the ship and immediately left the scene, you sat down letting out a sigh as you massage your forehead

“Nice skills you got there, buttercup”

You rolled your eyes and flip him as you cross your legs. You are a full born Na’vi, Pandora is where you were born, Eywa is your great mother. Your parents and brother was your greatest treasure but all of it were thrown away the moment they left you at the forest in order to save themselves. To save themselves of the shame when they had you. You weren’t a gift from Eywa. You are a curse child and you will show them your rage.

And that’s how the sky people corrupted your mind just like how they corrupted the Pandora.

Writing smut about Neteyam is just wrong. Even if he is aged up, doing that so you can write it is still weird. Stick to Jake Sully and adults, but this isn’t right. Don’t ignore this.

Aging Up of Characters

All characters in my literature are adults, in terran and human years. Meaning, when I'm writing them I see them as adults. Therefore, I will portray them as such - mentally, physically, culturally, etc. Although my blog is an nsfw blog, I include their character development outside of smut. Moreover, age isn't really counted on pandora. Na'vi age quicker than humans do and experience a plateau until their senior years (which they can live for well over a hundred years). What really matters to the na'vi is passing their iknimaya - that's what makes them an adult (ready for a mate, etc).

Anyways, this isn't necessarily my main point, but it's something to keep in mind going forward.

Now, I know James Cameron did such an amazing job at portraying these aliens in a light that us humans can really relate to them, didn't he? To the point where perhaps we could start applying our own laws to them. I guess that's why it's so hard for people to really differentiate the two species sometimes :) but, you know, the na'vi are humanoid aliens, after all. aliens that have their own way of life and biology? that live on another planet? that doesn't exist? are we forgetting that these are fictional characters or something?

Most importantly, their actors are of age, yes? Yes. So I don't personally see the issue here. I can distinguish that characters and actors are not synonymous, but my point is, if their actors were underage that would be a different story. Yes, I am also aware of their age when avatar was filmed. But, they grew up - much like their fictional characters will in the next movie. Everyone was once a child - everyone grows up.

I do my upmost best to tag my fictions properly and thoroughly. If there are any fictions that you feel I may not have tagged correctly, feel free to let me know. I have no issue with being corrected, I would honestly love to be corrected. My intention is never to cause harm to anyone. If you don't like this type of content - which is totally fine and your right - I strongly recommend you avoid consuming it. Especially if it's triggering. You'll have my respect if I have yours.

Anyways, I do hear you, though. I understand it, even. You're entitled to your opinion, as am I. I mean no harm to anyone, and thankfully because the characters I'm writing about are fictional - fake, it won't harm them either. No pressure to look at my (extremely nsfw) blog or to read my (heavily warned) content - you definitely have a choice here.

But here's my (also unsolicited) advice:

Remind yourself that these are fictional characters. They don't exist :) Meaning no one here is being hurt or harmed in anyway. Take a deep breath and find comfort in that. Please also remember, that there are much bigger, and better things to worry and advocate about. To be clear - yes, pedophilia is a serious issue. But, throwing around such a word when regarding aged up fake characters from a movie really dilutes it and is disrespectful to the real life victims of pedophilia as well as other victims of sexual abuse, child porn, human trafficking, slavery.. unfortunately the list goes on. These are the people that need to be advocated for. So, I would strongly encourage you to channel your passion to advocate for real life matters - not blue, fictional aliens. Because truthfully, me and my blue alien fictions should not have this magnitude of an effect on you for you to seek me out and take time out of your day to message me about it.

Small fandom rant, feel free not to read.

I don’t really care what an artist has done as a person, unless they’re like literally hitler or someone who you’d punch in public for their crimes, I find it a bit sad and annoying how so many artists online are willing to tear down someone else’s art to say “I did it better.” It’s one thing to give constructive crit in good faith, and it’s another to make an OC-ified version of canon out of your love for something, but creating something out of spite will almost always ring hollow for me. I see so much good art duct taped to posts about how “here I fixed it” or “lol you can’t draw” and I think back to the time when I learned the phrase, “you’ll attract more flies with honey than vinegar.” It disheartens me to see artists and people I’d know to be kind and constructive not extend the same kind of care hey show irl to someone online based on their parasocial relation to them. It’s such a low-stakes game and people will act like a mid show having characters they enjoy is the end of the world, and in doing so will take personal snipes and make insults at the art instead of addressing the actual problem head on, because it’s easier to derail and funnel attention and love towards yourself instead of ask that others improve. I love redesigns born of love. I love rewrites that try to see an artist’s vision, but at a certain point I wonder if people even like what they’re making art about or if they’re slapping something recognizable over top of it in order to ride trends.

The internet normalizes clout chasing to the point where I feel like we do it almost instinctively. That little insult or sly comment at the end of a post, that’ll sway people to your side. Saying why you don’t like some person despite not knowing them. It’s valid to have your opinions but I wish people would act like they would in the real world. You wouldn’t go around and scream at someone who you saw post this one thing one time. You wouldn’t punch someone based on a rumor, or verbally berate them in a restaurant. Yet people post so much shit online and it’s so normalized that we don’t even register it as a sign to log off anymore.

I feel like social media is something incredibly important for communication, but it’s currently designed in a way that centers ourselves and how much dopamine we can get, whether it’s at the expense of others, ourselves, etc. And we’re part of the problem too, we refuse to change and recognize that maybe internet points aren’t worth it and maybe it shouldn’t matter what people think of us. And maybe it’s an opinion I have but I shouldn’t judge someone based on what fraction they put out on the internet of themselves. Maybe I should cook myself a snack or go out for a walk or sit on the balcony or in the yard, talk to a friend face to face. Again, I love what the internet has done for accessibility but every accessible thing is locked behind a service designed to ignore vitriol and anger towards one another.

I guess I fall prey to this too, but I’ve seen this pattern happen again and again and again. There are people behind everything that’s made, and unless it’s ai or something stolen, an artist put their time and heart into it. It’s part of the game to have tough skin but I wish it didn’t have to be a necessity because of spiteful people.

I guess I should add an addendum, this is about a pattern I’ve seen in many a fandom. This isn’t about the morality of a show’s crew or whatever, that’s a conversation for another day that I’m not getting involved in because the personal lives of others are no business of mine. Hah, there I go again. But in all seriousness. I’ve seen it in Hazbin Hotel. I’ve seen it with High Guardian Spice. Velma. Steven universe. The owl house. Any new show I’ve seen come out where someone decides to have a moment and say “I will create out of spite and a need to be seen.” I wish artists didn’t feel the need to ride trends and that we’d value each others’ work as much as something put out by Disney. But that too, is a post for another day.

You called Caroline a white Bonnie, how so? Bonnie in my opinion had more of a consistent personality in the show. She was consistently written as a moral superhero for everyone. Caroline was whatever Plec needed her to be in the episode imo. A victim in one, a villain in another, one day she’s sleeping around with every man in the show (that’s an exaggeration, but yeah), the next day she’s slutshaming another girl for doing the exact same thing (Elena also slut shamed her for sleeping with/ being raped by Damon, even though Elena also sleeps around, so I guess it’s a running theme). One day she hates Klaus with all her heart, the next day she sleeps with him even though he killed her boyfriend’s mother. One day she’s a girls girl, the next day she’s a misogynistic mean girl. It really depended on what Plec thought was right for the plot of the episode. And am I the only one who thought that the Alaric/Caroline thing was off putting? Wasn’t he her teacher? Didn’t he date Elena’s surrogate mother AND her aunt? And so much more. And he admitted to having feelings for her, even though she was an adult at the time, it was… strange. And I didn’t like the plot line of her being pregnant with the twins without her consent. The forced pregnancy was just not my thing. Did she even give any sort of hint that she wanted to be a parent throughout the show? I don’t remember.

Not that I disagree with your thoughts on Caroline. I just wasn’t talking about her then. Tyler ends up dating Liv Parker in season 6, that’s his final relationship after Caroline. I agree, Caroline is just a self-insert for Julie turning her into whatever the show needs for that moment.

Penelope Mitchell/Liv was being set up to be Bonnie/Kat’s replacement since Julie admitted to wanting Bonnie permanent death to be in season 5. That tweet is still posted btw.

If Bonnie is no longer the resident witch and there are no more Bennett’s then of course the remaining witches are going to get the spotlight.

Tbh, the way tvdu fans ignore/ed Bonnie/Kat they wouldn’t have cared if she was fired to make room for another white and woman they found more desirable.

Candice has admitted that she found out she was pregnant called Julie and Julie from there rewrote season 7 to accommodate Candice’s pregnancy. Which tells you exactly how she feels on Kat getting full attention because Candice was not the last woman standing lol. Candice didn’t have to stop working I cannot stress this enough but she certainly was not the first woman to be pregnant onscreen and have the baby bump hidden.

Caroline never mentioned anything about children until that forced pregnancy. Alaric was married to Elena’s birth mother, then dated Jenna. Either way Calaric was a waste of time. Lmao.

White!Bonnie to clear up further confusions for you lol: are white witches who are abused for their magic or serve others but have agency. Ex: Freya her siblings, Davina with the NOLA witches or vampires, Hope’s a martyr for the Salvatore school, Liv is Bonnie and Rebekah mixed but even she didn’t want anything to do with magic because of what happened to her family lol.

Bonnie’s beautiful, compassionate, powerful, intelligent but she’s black. Not okay to be anything but white in tvdu. Instead of pushing Bonnie, the writers took these qualities and gave them to white and desirable women.

You know what? Solidad rant time (again). GOD I WISH THEY DID MORE WITH HER. She has so much potential. Long post but I'm having a weird day and won't apologize for self indulgence /lh. Really trying to remember that this is my blog, my house, my rules, my free time, my hobbies, and you guys actually did follow me for this stuff. Anyways.

Let's take a look at what we know about Solidad. She's from Pewter city and is friends with Brock. She beat Drew in his first ever contest and accidentally made him cry about it. She does this to May, too. Canon: Solidad makes children cry /joking.

But like, that's... kind of it? She's also old friends with Harley? So, her history is almost blank, and entirely tied to other characters (Brock, Drew, Harley).

So, let's look at what we get of her on-screen. All of her pokemon are from Kanto (Lapras, Slowbro, Butterfree, Pidgeot), so are we to assume she's never been to other regions until The Johto Arc (tm)? (ALSO Johto January will be happening. Work in progress.) Or is her bond with her first home-region pokemon all she wants? She seems to be an experienced coordinator. We know she beat Drew in his first contest, so that means either Drew did contests in Kanto OR more likely, Solidad did contests in Hoenn and interestingly just didn't catch any pokemon there. Maybe she's had this same team for years and likes to stick with what works and what she knows well? I wonder how she'd keep her appeals and strategies fresh and new.

We also see that she’s very calm and patient, and can get along with anyone (Drew and Harley are her two main friends that we see on-screen. And Brock, I guess. I like to think she's like my aunt, who knows everyone. She'll be in Trader Joe's and talking to the manager about his daughter's cousin's friend's wedding that she attended).

What else do we have? Not much. She exists almost purely to explain Drew to us a bit more and to win the Grand Festival. We can take from this, though- her explaining Drew. One of the main things she says is that Drew has, quote, 'feelings' for May and, ignoring that on its own (side tangent demons, go away), we can take her actions there and extrapolate. BUT LIKE, the thing about the side tangent demons is that they're unavoidable BECAUSE SOLIDAD DOESN'T REALLY EXIST OUTSIDE OF MAY AND DREW! And Harley, I guess? But back to extrapolation, I don’t imagine Drew gave her the green light to say that, so we can assume Solidad is someone who sees HER IDEA of the best thing to do and just goes for it regardless of other opinions, or regardless of if it's even her business at all. Extrapolation: If Solidad sees somewhere she can help, she WILL help regardless of if it’s even her place to do so.

This is actually supported by the Absol scene (of which I have... opinions on)- Drew's having an anxiety attack or whatever canon wanted us to think that was (him just being mean to his pokemon? something he chides other people for? Drew, who is shown to dote on his Pokémon? Sigh. There’s in-character ways to show flaws or move the episode forward, or whatever that scene even accomplished, that aren’t just making a character be mean to their Pokémon, but TANGENT DEMONS I will get stuck on this if I don’t move on). ANYWAYS Drew’s being difficult, so what does Solidad do? She explains how he feels like he failed in front of May (arguably the single worst person to have been present for this), Ash, Brock, Max, and (unknowingly) Harley.

Now. An ounce of forethought might get you to the conclusion that when someone is anxious/agitated/having a bad time, digging into them in front of their friends (or, uh, whatever Ash, Brock, and Max are to Drew) (or whatever MAY is to Drew at this point, for that matter, though Solidad did sort of outright tell us in the previous episode) might be a bad decision that makes it worse, actually, especially when that person pointedly and intentionally decided to go be alone, away from people. But Solidad saw an opening to attempt to help and she took it, regardless of if it actually helped or made things worse. I think she’s someone who is incredibly oriented towards helping and understanding people, but in an incredibly stubborn way.

This isn’t a bad thing, though. I showed a couple more or less negative examples, but it’s a strength to be so steadfast in your morals and beliefs. I truly believe that more times than not, she WOULD be correct in how she tries to help, but it's a strength and a flaw wrapped up into one.

The thing is... I half-made this characterization of her up. I extrapolated the hell out of a couple cherry-picked scenes that supported my conclusion (Which is not how proving hypotheses should really work by the way), because there's just not much there. She was in three episodes and was mentioned in a fourth. She showed up at the VERY end of AG and existed purely for other characters or the plot.

Which, one one hand, so does Drew. He exists only around May and, semi-adjacently, Harley and Solidad. We know so little about his backstory or, well, anything. The thing is that IMO separates him from Solidad is that he appeared often enough to give a strong personality, interesting actions, and just a good, solid presence. Solidad unfortunately wasn't given time to do this. Harley is similar to Drew. Very little backstory or individual focus but enough of a general focus to leave an impression.

HAF probably helps, too.

But Solidad DID leave an impression. I know people who are shocked when they hear she ONLY showed up for the Kanto Grand Festival and that she wasn't a recurring rival. People REMEMBER and LOVE Solidad despite her shockingly underwhelming presence. I think that the gaps in memory filled in with that potential I mentioned at the beginning.

Do I have a conclusion here? No, not really. This is by no means a well thought out character essay, it's just me talking in pure, unedited stream of consciousness. I'm always looking for ways I can expand on her when we weren't given much to expand upon. I love Solidad, I really do.

But even when writing her, I notice I fall into the same pitfalls I chide canon for- having her only exist tangentially around other characters or as a supporting factor. But she deserves more than that, truly. I don't have any ideas right now, but one of these days I want to really mess with SOLIDAD. As herself. Not as an older sister figure or as a friend or as a coordinator or as a rival, but as herself, whoever that is. Because canon never showed us.

I’m sorry if this isn’t the right place to ask this, please feel free to ignore.

So I figured out earlier this year that I’m trans as an adult. And I was euphoric for months afterwards. I kept the knowledge to myself and did tons of research to really be sure and there was never and shred of doubt. So I eventually started coming out, by now I’m out to most people in my life and reactions have been better than expected, everyone is doing their best when it comes to using my new name and pronouns. I even found a therapist who’s cool and started my sessions so I can get testosterone next year hopefully.

But now it feels like I’m hitting a wall. I’ve been so stressed out lately and I feel a sense of near-constant dread. I had some fleeting thoughts of “omg what am I doing” when I first came out to the first people but that only ever lasted for a short time. But now I’ve been feeling that almost constantly the past weeks. And I’m so exhausted. I wonder if I’m making a mistake.

But on the other hand it feels nice when people use my new name and pronouns and I’m getting more and more used to it. I can’t wait to get on T cause I really want those changes and I could handle hair loss, acne and other undesired consequences.

So I guess I just wanna know if this feeling of dread and insecurity is normal. I suppose it is, this is an exciting time for me with huge changes on the horizon, but it’s driving me a bit insane lately. It’d help to know whether others feel the same and I don’t know where else to ask.

Honestly, I think the biggest contributor to these types of feelings is both that it is so new (i.e., getting almost... used to not identifying with the language people use for you and how you are conceptualized) and the fact that it's so much change in a relatively short amount of time.

I've seen this constantly over the years, and some of the biggest reasons I've seen people react "negatively" to their transness is that it is so much change and also... there is that sense of imposter syndrome that you start thinking you either don't deserve to be treated how you want and need to be, but also that you somehow are making it up or are about to make a grand mistake. Transition is often treated like this grave decision, that if you don't know for sure what you want that it's "not worth it" to pursue transition. I think that's unfair because... transition isn't something that needs to be treated like life-or-death, that you can't ever reverse part or all of your decision.

So, no, you aren't reacting poorly or weirdly in this stage of life. It's completely normal to feel almost out of place and unsure about how to process your inner feelings and the reactions from others. The best thing, in my opinion, that you can do is give yourself space and not place the weight of the world on your shoulders. You have time, and you are allowed to make whatever decisions about your life and how you spend it.
