1: what’s the duo’s opinion on the whole goku vs Superman & Superman vs Batman debate?

2: in-universe, what’s the most misconception the public have of the duo? Like Nightwing Chris being the son of the Nightwing of bludhaven for example.

3: do they have a “what’s the password” entry to the starcave?

4: do you have a group name when titans of tomorrow & starknights team up all together? I recommend young titans or Star Titans

5: don’t know if I said this but what’s their tickle areas?

6: is there any honorable members on the team? Like I can see Jon & the super twins on the starknights group if gained permission.

Anyways, on with the show

1) Those debates can be fun to watch and consider but the Duo know that it’s better to appreciate the heroes involved in said debates for what they are as people/characters rather than take it all too seriously and to the point of zealotry and fanaticism as they’ve seen online too many times.

2) The public mistaking Chris as a junior Nightwing and a literal son of the Dick Grayson one via the two splitting the mantle evenly is one common misconception the two have seen time and time again. Also, being called biological brothers, Jake getting confused as a de aged Dick Grayson and being mixed up with Robin and Superboy from YJ just smaller and with differing colors are all also commonplace on newspaper tabloids and magazines.

3) I bet they would, mainly used for special occasions including parties for their friends and relatives taking place at their base. Jake is the one answering the door and The password would be ‘Crusader-Landing-Azule’

4) Star Titans is ideal and common enough to work well with them. It’s short, sweet and to the point. Though in full it’ll be The StarBurst Titans of Tomorrow, as a nice combination of their respective names.

5) On a scale of 1 - 10, with 1 being barely any sort of tingle and 10 being guaranteed of very loud laughter and thrashing around if not being held still….

Maybe at a later point in time, the Duo would also have an ally and friend from outside the DC multiverse or even it’s dimension….like maybe from a completely different dimension (coded for franchise) in a future crossover *hint**hint*

And oh yeah, Jon too is a frequent help for both teams whenever the help is needed, akin to how Supergirl is a big help to the Legion of Superheroes if need be

7) Both teams have de facto as opposed to officially stated leadership but often times Mar’i and Bobby share having control of the Titans of Tomorrow. The both of them inherited their respective parents’ leadership skills but Bobby a tad bit moreso from Donna and even his Grand Aunt Diana

As for the StarKnights, Chris more or less makes the most prominent decisions of them all, with both Jake and Cerdian being second in commands to him.

It's hard to have a favorite, given how we don't get a ton of time with alternate timelines/Elseworlds, but if I had to choose one, I'd probably choose Johnny from Earth-2. They named him John Thomas Grayson. ;___; I believe Dick was never Robin in that universe (though, later became Batman?) but the homage got me right in the feelings place. I actually am kind of on the fence about how I've been thinking that maybe the next step Dick should have in the main continuity should be to have a kid. I would have loved if they'd stuck with him raising Damian, the whole twisting and turning of the themes of who Bruce is to both of them, while also both of them needing to step out of Bruce's shadow, the sheer depth of potential about how Bruce raised Dick and now Dick is raising Damian, fathers and sons and brothers all blurring into each other, would have been amazing. But I've been starting to think maybe he should have a kid in the main continuity as a way to keep moving his story forward, I don't know if I mean adopting a nine year old to have as his own kid who's determined to be his sidekick or having an actual baby (I kinda lean towards the former) but it would certainly add something new to the Batfam dynamic. Also A HUNDRED "BRUCE IS A GRANDFATHER NOW" JOKES WOULD MAKE MY GODDAMNED YEAR. 😂

Welp I did a Titans line up ask for a Main team so I’ll make this a follow up by re-exploring a concept I brought up in my Pinned Post; a Multiverse version of the Titans;

Nightstar (Earth 22; Kingdom Come)

Superboy, The Boy Wonder (Hypertension Arc where it’s an Earth when Conner Kent becomes a partner for Batman a la Robin)

Hawk Beast (Mash Up Arc, a member of a team that mixes up various Titans and JLA members, in this case Beast Boy and Hawkman)

Knight-Wing (Earth 38, Superman and Batman: Generations; grandson of Clark Kent and adoptive son of Bruce Wayne Jr.)

Dark Flash (Walter West, an alternate Wally from a timeline when things that can go wrong in his life did go wrong and has a meaner streak in super heroics as a result)

And now for two more members,

John “Johnny” Grayson aka Firepattern (Earth 2, son of Dick and Barbara and aged up via the Ultra Humanite)

Amethyst, Princess of Gemworld (Prime Earth/Earth 0 or basically whatever is canon nowadays lol)

Of course here’s the thing about this team assembled by a tween son of the Monitor/Overmonitor, akin to the Exiles from Marvel, they’re not entirely immune to getting permanent or at bare minimum long lasting deaths in their ranks with a guarantee of coming back. After all it isn’t a single world they protect, it’s The Multiverse itself

Anyway, Dick's alt universe/alt timeline kids are wild.

There's the Dick and Kori kids, Mar'i Grayson and Jacob (Jake) Grayson:

Mar'i is named after Dick's mom but with a Tamaranian twist and Jake is named after no one. Mar'i and Jake both can absorb energy, project energy and fly. However, only Mar'i has super strength. Jake also almost died at birth because of his mixed DNA and had extreme difficulty controlling his powers. He went from extremely sickly to nuclear bomb at a moments notice. Mar'i took up the mantle of Nightstar, married her uncle (?!?) and had two kids. Jake never picked a 'hero name' but he still helped people. Eventually he had a son that he named Richard.

Then there's the Dick and Babs kids, Johnny and Tommy. They're twins... I think. It's unclear. Either DC forgot the kid's name and started calling him a different name or there are two identical boys. There is speculation that John's (named after Dick's dad) middle name is Thomas and that's where the confusion is. I'm going to assume that there are two kids however, because they grow up to be very different people.

Thomas (named after Bruce's dad) took up the name Red Hood because he thought Jason was very cool. Thomas works very closely with the Bat family however and the name seems to be that only thing of Jason's that Thomas emulates. John got kidnapped as a small child and was experimented on until he developed powers. John has energy projection powers, super strength and flight. He went by the name 'Firepattern'. He was brainwashed by a cult and worked for them until his father found him again as a teenager. John Grayson actually exists in a few timelines but this is the one that gave him more than just a cameo role.

Then there's Elainna Grayson. She is Dick's daughter but they never say who her mother is. Barbara is not her mother because Elainna's mom is dead and Babs is alive in this timeline. Elainna takes up the mantle of Batwoman and fights alongside the Bat family (despite her father's objections)

Anyway... Dick has five different alt kids and three of them have the same powers and the other two took up mantles that weren't his. Very funny stuff right there.

Earth 489: Robin Legacy

Current Timeline

Dick Grayson: The first Robin, whose story is well known. After leaving Gotham, he became the superhero Nightwing and was briefly Batman for a short period. Retired after Damian died.

Jason Todd: The second Robin and the illegitimate son of Willis Todd and Sandra Woosan. Was killed by Joker and later brought back to life, becoming the Red Hood.

Tim Drake: Became Robin after Jason Todd died. Became Red Robin a few years later.

Stephanie Brown: Originally a vigilante called Spoiler, she became Robin after Tim was discovered by his dad, but died a few months in. She later came back to life through unknown means and became Nightwing, moving to Bludhaven.

Damian Wayne: After his mother brought him to his father, he became Robin as Tim was missing at the time. He was later murdered by his grandfather, but his parents and stepmother, Selina Kyle, found a way to bring him back.

Athanasia al Ghul: Damian's twin, who had also died once, but was brought back with a Lazarus Pit after Damian died. She was briefly Robin until Damian was brought back, but left Gotham, her current whereabouts unknown.

Maps Mizoguchi: After Damian was brought back, he met Maps and became good friends with her. She eventually discovered his identity and soon became another Robin, sharing the mantle with him.

Future Timeline

Mar'i Grayson: After Tim Drake died, Damian retired from Robin to become Nightwing (Stephanie, the previous Nightwing, had become Batwoman) and passed the Robin name to his niece Mar'i. She later gave the name up and became Nightstar.

Jake Grayson: Mar'i Grayson's younger brother, he became Robin after his older sister became Nightstar. After his powers had fully developed, he became Firepattern.

Helena Wayne: The youngest of the four biological Wayne siblings, Helena is the current Robin.

Children Of Nightwing

Nightstar-mar'i Grayson

She first appeared in the elseworlds kingdom come and was the daughter of Koriand'r aka Starfire. Throughout the time before or Superman on tried to become a dictator and flew out she was acting as as a young superhero even when it was illegal. Due to a parentage she has close ties with the bat family and and is thought to have been in a relationship with Damian Wayne. In later Comics it is shown but she joins a new rendition of the Teen Titans.

Red Hood-Thomas Grayson

Only appearance was in the alternate future shown in Justice League Generation Lost and mother/grandmother unknown. He is stated to be a descendant of Dick Grayson so very well maybe his grandson. From a world where most heroes were killed by OMAC Thomas Grayson continues the fight with his allies. Since his mother/grandmother is unknown there are a few options of who it could be such as any of his previous partners on new partners we would not be aware of due to alternate timeline, Starfire could be a candidate if through every generation with a human they lose their powers and the most obvious answer of course would be Barbara.

Robin/Firepattern of Earth 2-John Grayson

Originally the name of Dick Grayson father and in this case the name of his son from Earth 2. His mother was Barbara Gordon and his family truck Haven in Chicago during apocalypses invasion. John's mother is badly hurt by debris and the whole family is whisked away by who they think is another refugee named Lottie. But inside Barbara is captured and Dick is taken hostage, however John is returned to the refugee stronghold. After his parents escape they all try and board an already overcrowded boat to escape Chicago. Tragically Barbara Gordon a shot in the chest well securing seats and John Constantine kills her killer. Dick Grayson gives his son up to Johnny Thunder so he can have a chance at survival while Dick waits for his end in Chicago. But Dick Grayson is rescued and goes on to try and save his son who he thinks is on a derailed train underground. When they find each other it turns out that the villain brainwave has been controlling refugees and Batman and huntress show up to stop him. After the villain is defeated John is lost in the crowd again. After finally finding his son again he is forced to give him away to a ship that is only allowing women and children first, he unknowingly hands his son to to Big Barda and K'li. The Ultra-Humanite kidnapped, brainwashed and experimented on orphans including John. Afterwards John would be known as Firepattern and would be tracked down by his still alive father who had recently taken the Batman title. After being saved he regained his personality and went on to become the next Robin. One thing worth of note is that he retained his powers of flight and energy manipulation.

New Order-Jake Grayson

From the New Order elseworlds story where his mother was Koriand'r aka Starfire. Born after the battle of Metropolis where Nightwing activated a device that got rid of 90% of the world's superpowers. Starfire left them when he was young, leaving Dick to raise him with the help of Alfred in Wayne Manor. Jake kid his powers for as long as he could from his father because his father was a leader of of an anti power movement. Eventually it was revealed and his father tried to save him from the anti power task force known as the Crusaders but was unsuccessful. After finally being rescued by his mother, father and the Teen Titans he brought to Superman and Lex Luthor so they could studying why the power dampeners did not work on him. This was done against dicks wishes and he called The Crusaders but went on to regret it. After finding how to give the world its powers back Lex Luthor betrayed them and almost blew up Metropolis with everyone inside it, luckily the Teen Titans and other heroes evacuated everyone before the explosion. Years after these events anti power laws were being lifted, Jake was leaving college and went on to have a wife we did not know the name of and a son named after his father Richard Grayson.

Damian Wayne adoption?

Although not appearing in any elseworlds stories it would be the most likely conclusion to any death of Batman. In most depictions of the future where Damian Wayne is involved he is rather an evil Batman that is making deals with the devil or the leader of the League of Shadows, I believe with with Dick Grayson and his father figure this would change. Jake later began to develop powers from his half Tamaranean DNA and his father

My own thoughts

There are lots of interesting opportunities that could come about from a writing standpoint with the idea of Dick Grayson having a child. Who has a child with of course with change the outcome and his only history can provide a lot of the hero titles. I will go on to list some interesting Concepts for the children of dick Grayson and what their titles could be.

Firebird was the original counterpart to the Nightwing persona on Krypton or in candor depending on continuity. This would be particularly relevant if there was a child with Starfire due to the flame effect Tameranians produce.

Talon was the title of his grandfather when he worked with with the Court of Owls. The most likely circumstance of child taking this name would rather be due to the death of of a parent and seeking vengeance or if they were neglect for due to their heroic it could be a villainess persona once more.

Steel Sparrow is not a title that has appeared but I could not think of a better way to express this idea. The armour one in project Batman being utilised by a a child of Dick Grayson would be an interesting idea if if the mother was also protect analogically advanced Barbara Gordon/Oracle.
