Game Master AU

Random idea Separated(?) Villain(?) Donnie AU.

Donnie gets separated from the others when they're kids, around seven or eight. He survives on his own making his lab and tech and looking for his brothers. After years of searching, he finally finds them!

Unfortunately, the years alone haven't been kind to him in more ways than one. He found his brothers and he will make sure he never loses them again. So he traps them in what he calls "The Play Room," where they can make up for lost time playing lots of 'fun' games and puzzles.

Donnie doesn't tell them who he is. He tells himself it's because he wants it to be a surprise, but really, some part of him knows this is wrong. That once they find out it's him they'll hate him and he really will lose them forever.

Meanwhile, the others are struggling. They fighting for their lives and this "Game Master" as he calls himself is treating it as little more than entertainment. Trying to figure out what his motive is and how to get out of this is nearly impossible. What are they going to do?

The imagined scenario of their escape and finding the villain?

Someone, probably Leo, makes some 'Game Over' joke and they're ready to fight the 'big bad'. What they weren't expecting to see was Donnie. Donnie who's crying and screaming at them, "You broke it! That's not how you're supposed to play the game! That's not how you're supposed to play the game!"

He's not trying to fight them. Even though they can easily see plenty of dangerous-looking tech that could probably give some of the other stuff they've seen a run for its money. He just keeps crying.

Person A and their friends couldn’t decide who would be the game master of the tabletop roleplay game, since none of them wanted to be stuck in the role and none of them could agree on anyone who was super good at it. So Person A builds an android to be their game master, Person B, who is versatile and can change their game master style based on group dynamics and has all the rules and exceptions and various homebrews, rolling tables, stats, etc. programmed into them. But one day, Person B asks if Person A will help them join online groups as a player, to get more experience and understand their role better.

Game Master AU: April

When the others try to introduce April to their long-lost brother she does her best to try to make a good impression. They warn her that he's… not in the best mindset from being alone all these years.

Well, she isn't one to back down from a challenge! If she can win over Raph and his big brother instincts, she can win over anyone (that isn't normal). This is just a new friend little brother in need of her help and guidance.

She puts on her friendliest smile while holding her hand out to Donnie. "Hi! I'm-"

"April O'Neil." Donnie says matter of factly, never looking up from the origami Mikey game him. 'Something to do with his hands until he earns back tech privileges.'

April's smile falters at already being thrown off. "So you brothers told you about me?"

Donnie finally puts down the paper and turns to look at her. "Age 16, High School student, president of the Warren Stone fan club, and you can't keep a job because of a series of 'unlucky' workplace incidents."

April stops, her face morphing into a rage as she points at Donnie. "You."

Donnie gives a wide grin.

Donnie does not like April one bit. He feels like she replaced him.

Donnie is the one that kept getting April fired. Responsible for numerous tech malfunctions that were "miraculously fixed" when anyone came to check, changing April's time card so it looked like she always came in an hour late, and things like that.

A few times she wasn't even actually fired, it was Donnie who sent the email/message from what looked like her employer's account/number.

He still caused the Alberto's incident, but this time remotely and on purpose. He was just trying to cause the animatronic to shut down, but it still got the job done so it's a win in his books.

News of the "accident" spread, pretty much blacklisting April from most decent jobs. Double win!

April eventually tricks him into enjoying spending time with her. She challenges him to games and he tries to refuse. He's scared of losing, she gets it. She lets him win. Which probably doesn't help that giant ego but does make her seem like less of a threat.

She's managed to keep a job two weeks so far.

“Anyway, regardless of the state of the other teams, I have a proposition for you.” Buck raised a curious eyebrow, willing him onwards. “If we win, you give me your number.” Silence fell between them as Buck appeared to consider the offer, his arms unfurling as he rubbed a hand against his jaw. Bucky couldn’t tell if he was fucking with him or not. Five seconds suddenly felt like five hours. Eventually, Buck gave a hint of a nod, his expression breaking out in a small, private smile. “Okay, you’re on. You guys win, I’ll give you my number.”

danny and damian twin au, but it’s crack. :))

danny and damian get into being really competitive at a very young age in the league, and even on their very rare off time they secretly played games, even if they often got out of hand, nobody ever seemed to care so long as they were improving.

during one of their first missions, it’s starting to go really bad, and damian figures it out before danny. he makes up a game of hide and seek, and danny scrambles off to look for a hiding spot while damian does the same, except he knows it’s because there’s someone after them. by the time backup arrives and the threat is taken care of, the only thing they’re able to find is a scrap of cloth and a splatter of danny’s blood.

eight years later, the two lock eyes in a gotham alleyway while danny tries to drag an unconscious mugger through a wall.

“oh dang. i guess i lost hide and seek than.”

“danny??? where have you been, it’s been eight years?!?!”

nobody ever challenges danny to hide and seek again after that.
