Radical feminism cannot ever be trans-inclusive.
Why do I keep saying this? Because I have increasingly been seeing transmasc and transfem folks weaponize radical feminist ideas against each other and I am tired of it.
(TL;DR at the end, I know this is lengthy.)
So, what is radical feminism and how does it differ from other kinds of feminism? It’s the idea that patriarchy is the primary root oppression from which all other oppression spawns. It holds that the two primary classes are men/males and women/females, and that men are responsible for creating and maintaining all oppression, with women playing a more passive, secondary role. We're off to a bad start already; this is an inherently racist framework that absolves privileged women of their role in creating and upholding oppression, as the idea is that if women ran the world oppression would not exist. Intersectional feminism, on the other hand, understands the way many forms of oppression are rooted in racism, and that all systems of oppression are interconnected without having one singular root.
The way it functions and its prescribed remedies rely on the idea of a sisterhood--all women/females are connected with each other against men/males. The common belief is that males as the more powerful* class will always try to oppress women unless women band together against them and intervene. Men are framed as the enemy to be fought, not potential allies to be recruited into feminism.
Many of us have an idea of traditional cis radical feminism and how that leads to TERFism. But how does it function in the trans community? For radical feminism to work, a "sister" class oppressed by misogyny and an enemy class causing it must be identified. Radfem trans women will say that their identity as women means they experience the worst misogyny--trans men and mascs just get the weaker "misdirected" version, and in fact have a motive to uphold misogyny due to their identification with manhood*. Trans men are the enemy class that oppresses trans women. Radfem trans men will say that people afab are the real class that experiences the worst misogyny due to their ability to give birth*--while trans women and fems as people amab* are more aligned with cis men due to having received male privilege and been "socialized male" in addition to not having the same reproductive capabilities*. Trans women are the enemy class that oppresses trans men.
Both of these notions rely on painting groups of trans people as having access to patriarchal power they do not. They downplay the way misogyny functions in the lives of the perceived patriarchal class of trans people. It inherently ignores the real experiences of trans people and paints some of them as an enemy class; it cannot ever be truly inclusive of all trans people. Intersectional transfeminism would take into account the way misogyny functions in the oppression of all trans people, and analyze the material conditions of trans folks to reveal that no group of them is granted access to patriarchal power and cis male privilege. It means banding together as a unified trans community and understanding where our experiences are shared, as well as accounting for the way other systems of oppression critically shape the lives of trans people of color, disabled trans people, intersex trans people, and other groups.
*There are a lot of assumptions present in this analysis like the assumed agabs and reproductive abilities of trans men and women; these are not my beliefs but the oversimplifications espoused by the radfems I'm describing.
TL;DR: Radical feminism requires identifying one class as the patriarchal oppressors and the other as the oppressed victims. In the "trans-inclusive" version, this means downplaying the experiences with misogyny of either trans men and mascs or trans women and fems. It identifies either transmisogyny or "afabmisogyny" as the real root of all oppression, ignoring the voices and experiences of the most marginalized trans people. Truly inclusive transfeminism would unite all trans people against the patriarchy instead of falsely implicating us in it.

It's concerning that this is now an LGB and women's issue now, but I really encourage people to begin purchasing USB drives or external hard drives and saving digital research on things such as gay & lesbian history, screenshots of tweets that might be important, homosexual and bisexual research, women's history, radical feminist books or PDFs, and really just anything that is at risk of being "corrected" by gender ideology or made inaccessible by academic publishers.
We need to save these things in a hard copy format as opposed to just using internet archive or taking Sci-hub for granted, because these organizations are experiencing heavy lawsuits. Additionally, it's becoming common for LGB and gender nonconformity history and research to be "rewritten" by gender ideologists. Actually, this is even true for past research and history on transvestism and transsexualism, too, in addition to things such as sex dysphoria, etc.
I bought three 64GB USBs for just $25. If you can't afford an external hardrive, buy some different colored USBs and start building your own library. We need to preserve this information and decentralize it as much as possible. It's worrisome enough that we rely on digital archives this much just generally, especially with the advent of AI and government and corporate attempts to eliminate data privacy and control.
This is a women's rights issue and an LGB issue now.

Don't get me wrong, I think it's perfectly acceptable that trans people don't always have certain surgeries and procedures, but I think something is to be said about the amount of trans people I have seen bash a certain gender-affirming procedure.
It's totally fine to not want some or any surgeries, but it's still transphobic to say "I think the results are ugly/look mutilated" or that trans surgery is "rudimentary" or "experimental" - even if you're also trans.
The idea that certain gender-affirming surgeries are mutilation or experimental is a classic form of transphobia, so it really does hurt seeing other trans people propelling those same talking points.

Hey so with the barbie movie coming out mod is once again seeing comments like “I’m nonbinary and wish I could just have flat genitalia like a doll, it would take away my dysphoria”. Mod got a dysphoric culture ask about it like 2 years ago actually and now there are more so:
This is possible.
If your transition goal is to have a complete removal of all your internal and external genitalia, there is a real surgery that people get to do that. It’s called genital nullification.
It’s also called nullectomy or nullo.
It’s not a very new or super complicated surgery. Everything is taken out/taken off and you’re left with just a hole for your urethra (where you urinate out of). The urethra may be moved as part of surgery. If you research the procedure you’ll also probably hear them talk about urethral shortening, because nullification is mostly done on cis men/transfems/nonbinary patients who require a penectomy as part of the surgery.
Now don’t get this for an aesthetic or because you like how dolls look. It takes 6-8 weeks of recovery and is as serious a decision as any other bottom surgery. More info is here and here. This website has some info and pictures (graphic warning) of nullification along with phallus-preserving vaginoplasty, another nonbinary surgery.
Hopefully this helps someone!

The fact that some people call themselves "soft dom" because of how they treat their submissive outside of scenes (showering them in kisses, affection and verbal affirmations) just goes to show how deeply some kinksters have sunken into their weird stereotypes of what they think BDSM is supposed to be.
For your information, treating your submissive with softness, kindness, respect, appreciation and care outside of your scenes is how it should be. That doesn't make you a "soft dom", it simply makes you a decent, proper dom. You can break your sub's bones and call them disgusting insults during a scene, but the second the scene ends, you are obligated to treat them with all of the above, period, no fucking exceptions. Even if it's a one-time play partner.
A soft dom is someone whose style of domination and dom vibe is gentle and soft, during scenes. Setting the focus on praise and worship instead of degradation and humiliation, for example. It has nothing, absolutely nothing, to do with how the dominant behaves outside of scenes.
(I'm so sick of misconceptions and misarticulations like this because it enhances very dangerous and harmful stereotypical roles that genuinely can hurt beginners. Fucking educate yourself before using specific terms.)

⚠️PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT⚠️
The Queer Liberation Library is, as the name suggests, a digital library centered around queer literature. They offer library cards to anyone in any place, all you need in order to sign up is an email address. Then you can access their catalog online or through apps like Libby.
When I signed up I received an email that said there’s sometimes a waitlist, but I should have my card within a week or else someone would get back to me within that timeframe to explain if I had to wait longer. I ended up getting my card after only a couple of days.
Their website is very accessible and easy to use. My favorite features are the button at the bottom of the screen which lets you switch between light and dark mode, and the Quick Exit banner along the top of the page that doesn’t go away regardless of where you navigate on the site.
This is such an incredible resource and I can’t believe I didn’t know about it until very recently. I want every queer person to know about it! They have accounts on most of the major social media sites (such as tiktok, Instagram, even here on tumblr at @queerliblib). There’s also a place on their website where you can suggest books they should add to their catalog.
After you get your card, I’d suggest the first book you read to be Beyond the Gender Binary by Alok Vaid-Menon. It is a short but powerful little book that I think is an incredibly concise analysis of societal gender-based discrimination, and a great place to start a lot of really important discussions. I listened to the audiobook this morning (it was only an hour long, which is a win for my trash attention span) and I couldn’t believe how good it was for so little page time.
I will absolutely be reading the rest of the Pocket Change Collective (the series which Beyond the Gender Binary is part of) and I can’t wait to see what I’ll learn from them.

Daily reminder that top/bottom/vers and dom/sub/switch are two very different sets of terms and, in fact, can't be used interchangeably.
Whereas dom/sub/switch refer to the role within a BDSM dynamic and has to do with who has consensual power over whom,
top/bottom/vers refers to pleasure giving/receiving during sexual acts, more commonly vaginal or anal penetration.
Not every dom is also a top, not every bottom is also a sub. Service tops refer to submissive tops and power bottoms refer to dominant bottoms. But in the end, any combination is possible and valid.
To use these sets of terms interchangeably creates the very false, misogynistic narrative that penetrating someone is an act of dominance, and therefore being penetrated is an act of submission. While bottoming can certainly be integrated into subbing (consciously so!), it is not naturally a submissive act - while topping can be integrated into domming (also consciously), it is not naturally an act of domination. Be mindful of how you articulate in these regards. It makes a difference in your mindset, even if you consciously do not think it does.
And while we're at it - gender stereotypes have no place in kink. Dominants don't have to be muscular, apathetic, cold, stern, mentally perfectly stable, wealthy, tall men and submissives don't have to be shy, fragile, tiny, cute, inexperienced women. If you like being sexually dominant or submissive (and are willing to educate yourself on how to do that safely), boom, you're valid as a dom or sub.

Creating this as a resource. If I’ve linked you here you probably don’t think radfems hate men for some reason. Instead of looking at this post, you can just look at the “radical misandrist,” “proud misandrist,” and “happy misandrist” tags radfems use, or honestly just look at radblr in general. They’ll tell you themselves how true it is.
Otherwise, here’s some screenshots I took looking there for as long as I could stomach it:

There's a new website a radical feminist made, which just launched! I wanted to share:
"Hello all! I wanted to share the website that I've created, kindrad.org. My goal was to create a place where a person with little background in feminism or gender criticism would be able to get started in understanding these concepts."
It sounds like she's planning on adding more to it at a future date and that this is just more of a skeleton foundation. Still, it's really well designed and is a great introduction to gender critical/radical feminism.

i don’t ever want to hear anyone deny that they’re medicalizing kids for being GNC ever again
This is a doctor speaking for Children’s Hospital of Orange County- the Orange County in California, one of the most populated counties in the USA, outright admitting a child being GNC (aka, a girl being masculine, or a boy being more feminine!) is a sign that they may be transgender, and they should be taken to a doctor right away. What was it about this being a TERF conspiracy, again?
