I'm trying to write a thing (probably only in my head, let's be realistic) and so I have some thoughts?

Sunshine x Grumpy prompts

(specifically a dommy Sunshine and a subby Grumpy, but read/swap these as you will)

Meetings

- They physically bump into each other in the street. Sunshine is trying to gather up Grumpy's stuff and straighten them out, but Grumpy is just trying to get away from Sunshine's overpowering energy.

-> Then afterwards, Grumpy is the one who keeps thinking about the encounter.

- There are no rooms left in the hotel/inn. Sunshine overhears Grumpy all but begging for any kind of room at all, and offers to share theirs.

- Every day, Grumpy walks past Sunshine dancing in a slightly inconvenient place (like a sidewalk or in front of a coffee shop). Eventually, they start watching Sunshine briefly when they come across them. Then, Sunshine makes direct eye contact and motions for them to dance, too.

-> Grumpy may not dance with them, but maybe Sunshine decides to make it their life's mission to tease out the dance moves in Grumpy's heart.

- Grumpy notices Sunshine gently handling a disliked/misunderstood animal. They instantly wonder if Sunshine would be willing to handle them (disliked and misunderstood as they are) so gently.

- People generally assume Grumpy is cruel/brutish in a fight. But when Sunshine sees them being merciful and diplomatic in the face of conflict, their heart goes all aflutter. They must not let this wonderful person slip through their fingers.

Acquaintances to Friends/Lovers

- They know each other only in passing, and Grumpy assumes Sunshine to be a total ditz. But when a fight between strangers breaks out in a tight space, Sunshine rushes into the fray to break it up. (Maybe the sight of Sunshine being strong and capable does something to Grumpy.)

-> Alternatively, it could be an emergency/crisis that Grumpy or another stranger are having (such as choking on something, a severe allergic reaction, or an illness or injury taking a sudden turn for the worse).

- They work together, and Sunshine has been making their way around the workplace day by day, doing something happy and cheerful and everything for each person. Grumpy is dreading the day it's their turn.

*Relationship Intensifies*

- Sunshine is a terrible cook. Grumpy pulls out the apron and shows them a thing or two.

- Sunshine opens up about their dark past during a quiet moment. It is remarkably (even freakishly) similar to what Grumpy went through.

- Sunshine notices that while Grumpy's actions say, "Do not perceive me," their body language screams, "I need you specifically to hold me."

- Over the past few weeks/months, Sunshine and Grumpy have been spending more and more time together. Right as Grumpy starts to feel comfortable opening up, they realize… Sunshine actually doesn't talk about themself. Practically at all.

After Dark

- Grumpy is too nervous/self-conscious to initiate, even though being with Sunshine is all they've been thinking about for the past ten minutes.

-> Sunshine miraculously notices and treats Grumpy so sweetly that Grumpy almost breaks.

->-> Or they do break, and Sunshine's happy to pick up the pieces afterwards.

- Sunshine's "I'll get a smile out of you yet!" attitude shifting into "You're mine and no one will ever hurt you" when things get hot.

- Grumpy's "I refuse to burden people with my presence" attitude becoming "Please, I need every last piece of you" when things get going.

- Grumpy and Sunshine have to switch roles a little when Sunshine drops after they're together.

Unexpected OTP Pairings ✨

❥ Okay I know Valentine’s Day was last week! Almost two weeks ago! But recently I’ve been wanting to branch out a bit with my blog writing, & writing prompts are something I love a lot! So, I’m trying something new & came up with a few OTP ideas! I hope you enjoy, thank you & have fun!

❥ F x M writing prompts! I didn't specify who is who though so everyone can read!

Former! Villain x Superhero

Not even a real villain, just some dumb person who steals things but is actually really nice in real life! But when a superhero comes to stop them, they instantly fall in love! Seriously has heart eyes & doesn't pay any attention to the hero’s grand pre-fight speech.

Or doesn’t put up a fight at all, just hands them the stolen goods & escapes. Leaving Hero completely confused as the Villain they were supposed to stop didn’t even bother fighting, which is still good but they’re still confused.

After this, the Villain now decides to become a Superhero!! To not only impress their new crush but also because they've always really wanted to be one anyways! It was just the push they needed.

Cue them now running the streets in a completely different outfit trying their best to stop the bad guys! Usually, it doesn’t end well though: they’ll trip over the air & let them escape, or maybe just show up late to the fight & it’s already over.

It’s even worse when their Hero crush joins the fray, and then they’re really clumsy or just start sputtering like an old car. Their former henchmen, now turned sidekicks, try to console them as they lay on the couch completely embarrassed by their feats.

Oooooor, they are super confident & much better at being a superhero than they ever were being a Villain. Maybe this confidence goes to their head a bit & will literally try flirting with Hero on the battlefield! Hero gets a bit embarrassed sometimes & their other super-friends tease them about it. If this does happen, Hero might end up trying to run away from the former Villain in an effort to focus on their job. But it just ends up being really funny to watch.

Bonus: They have opposite powers or maybe one has no powers at all.

Dashing Thief x Friendly! Detective

I'm sorry this one is a bit short!

A notorious thief with a heart of gold who only ever steals from bad guys & acts more as a Robin Hood character than any. Hardly ever keeps anything for themselves; just struts around after dark on the lookout for anything suspicious. Not one person has been able to catch them & their identity remains a mystery. Would be cool if they were a nobleman/woman or had some kind of big fancy hideout. 

The detective is actually their friend/partner (maybe)! The good egg who actually sees the thief’s true intentions instead of just mucking around in a Halloween costume. Although they're pretty ticked at the way Thief does things, they usually keep their coworkers & the boss off Thief's trail. Maybe a newbie or an intern at the detective agency, determined to prove themselves on the field. 

Maybe they met as civilians & the thief switched to a disguise to hide from authorities, but bumped into the detective who was out on a coffee break. It was love at first sight for both of them, so cute! 😆 They do a lot of coffee dates now, but sometimes Detective overdoes it.....

One is the brains, and the other is the brawn. Together they can get any job done! The Detective’s coworkers find it strange how the Thief shows up more often when they're specifically on the job. The Boss is suspicious but sometimes finds them cute.

Often swing by each other’s places to not only hangout but help each other with cases or special kinds of info. If the Thief has any sidekicks, no doubt they’ll spill funny stories of missions gone wrong or close calls. 

Stealing each other's hats and impersonating the other one for fun, then cue a playful chase scene around the room! So cute!

Dragon x Wizard

I know some people like fantasy stuff!

A dragon is resting in their cave until they hears footsteps at the entrance. But instead of finding a grumpy old knight, they find a wizard! Maybe the Wizard was exploring the caves nearby or on a journey to the next town, but instead of feeling scared or angry, they started fangirling/fanboying over the dragon instead! 😆

Likes to ask them all sorts of questions & sometimes can’t stop talking. Now Wizard can come whenever they like & the two become friends!

The Wizard visits whenever they can, showing off all sorts of new spells or potions they've created. Even though it might not be as impressive as their fire, the Dragon still finds it cool & applauds.

The Dragon will always try to impress their wizard friend with tall tales of each piece of treasure. How they got it, where they found it, if they fought anyone over it, etc. But sometimes those stories are exaggerated…

The Wizard will be in absolute awe at the Dragon’s stories & can’t help but be a complete chatterbox about it. Asking more questions about different things like how their magic works, how they can fly with all that extra weight, or if they can learn a fire-breathing spell from them instead—

If the Wizard lives in a tower then the Dragon will visit just as frequently! Usually it’s in the early morning or during sundown when there are fewer people around. But if the Wizard lives in a town or city, it might take some time for the Dragon to come around. It’s not that they don’t care, but dragons are more solitary creatures. They likely won’t be found anywhere other than their own home or nearby.

Either way, they enjoy each other's company & the dragon likes to ask questions about different thingamabobs on the Wizard's shelves.

They can both be pretty clingy but that’s sometimes a bit tough to handle because the poor wizard has to be extra careful pouring bottles or waving their wand around if a pair of arms are wrapped around them. Doesn’t mind but sometimes will complain if their partner won’t stay still.

Extra Duo!

Since I loved the superhero one a lot I thought of another one: what if a Hero’s Sidekick & a Villain’s Henchman fall in love! They end up sneaking out on rooftops for dates or waving/winking at each other on the battle field. The Henchman does end up giving Sidekick any tips about their next plan.

Cue the Villain throwing a tantrum in their lair wondering why the Hero is always one step ahead of them. 😅

They like to hangout in civilian settings together! Bonus if they found out on accident lol

If their Bosses end up finding out it’s like sneaking back into your house at night, but then the Hero/Villain turns the lights on in their pajamas like “Where were you?? I thought you were asleep!”

Bonus if the Henchman or both villains become heroes at the end!

40 Sunshine x Grumpy Prompts

I tried to make these a little more ambiguous than usual. Please enjoy. And your English is amazing!

WARNINGS: Nightmares, mentioned surgery and medicine.

SCENARIOS:

1) Grumpy is an introvert and prefers to stay at home and away from people. Sunshine is the only one who can get them to go into public. 

2) Throughout Grumpy’s life, they’ve struggled to get along with people due to their quiet nature, but Sunshine doesn’t mind and happily fills the silence. 

3) While Grumpy may not show their love verbally, they give little actions that scream their love. Allowing Sunshine to sleep on their lap, giving them food when they’re hungry, snuggling at night. Sunshine’s happy knowing that Grumpy loves them, regardless of how they show it. 

4) Sunshine’s always been regarded as the innocent, too easy to fool type—next to them, Grumpy doesn’t believe it. The few times that Grumpy had been harassed in front of Sunshine, they stood up for them like it was nothing. 

5) Most kids in school said that they’d be a bad fit for one another just because of how different they were. Little did they know that Grumpy and Sunshine had already been dating for two years. 

6) Sunshine hasn’t been in a relationship before because of their supposed “clinginess”, and Grumpy hasn’t either because of their reclusiveness. Somehow, they work flawlessly together. 

7) It’s been five years since Grumpy and Sunshine’s co-workers took a bet on how long they’d last. So far, they were still losing.

8) Though Grumpy doesn’t like to be touched, they’ll happily allow Sunshine to run their fingers through their hair. 

9) After a soft morning with Sunshine after a sleepover, Grumpy realizes that maybe marriage isn’t such a bad thing. 

10) Sunshine isn’t shining like they usually do, and Grumpy is determined to take care of it. Whatever it costs, and whoever upset them. 

11) Grumpy’s parents pull aside Sunshine to tell them how glad they are that Sunshine met Grumpy. They’d been more happy than they’d ever been because of Sunshine. 

12) Coming home late at night, Grumpy finds Sunshine crying and nearly breaks down. Whenever things get rough, they always trust Sunshine to be the one happy thing in their life. They’d do anything to get their Sunshine back. 

13) After Grumpy gets wisdom teeth surgery/another surgery, they’re loopy and giggly. Sunshine can’t help but wonder if this would be what it’s like to have their roles reversed. 

14) For Grumpy’s birthday, Sunshine bought bright colors on a whim for Grumpy, knowing that there was a low possibility that they’d wear them. But, surprisingly, the next morning they wore them. 

15) In Grumpy and Sunshine’s relationship, communication without words is vital. When in public, Grumpy knows how to say “Let’s get out of here,” without a word. And Sunshine knows how to ask if they’re all right. Nobody can understand how they do it. 

16) Sunshine is uncharacteristically worried about how Grumpy’s parents will react to them dating/being married, but Grumpy assures them if it doesn't go well, then they can suffer with not seeing their child. Because Sunshine’s the best thing that’s ever happened to them. 

17) Trying to pick out a ring for Grumpy, Sunshine goes down the whole list trying to imagine their love with a ring on their finger, and how’d they even propose. Not too fancy, but not too small. Not too loud, but just loud enough that word makes it around. It wasn’t until the last page that they found something that screamed Grumpy. 

18) Grumpy and Sunshine are those kinds of people that can hang around each other and not say a word, but be totally satisfied. It’s not out of the ordinary to see them reading in each other’s company, or playing single-player video games. 

19) Grumpy never knew what love could be defined as. They knew annoyance, and anger, and the hate of losing independence, but never love. Then, they met Sunshine, and every definition made sense. 

20) Dancing has been their thing since Grumpy and Sunshine started dating. It was quiet, full of adoration and always resulted in Grumpy smiling, and Sunshine tearing up at their darling. 

21) Most people don’t understand how Grumpy and Sunshine get along so well, and their answer is always the same. They just understand me. 

22) After (x) amount of dating, people realized that Sunshine is the only one who can make Grumpy not throw hands. 

23) Sunshine is an insomniac due to nightmares, and has been for their whole life. Once Grumpy starts sleeping with them, they only dream of Grumpy’s hands holding them close at night. 

24) When they’re outside, Grumpy likes to always touch Sunshine. Whether that be linking hands or a hand on the back.

25) Since they started dating, midnight drives are what they do on the weekend. After they pull over at a park, Grumpy and Sunshine reflect in each other’s presence.

27) “I love you, and only you. I don’t care about what anyone else says.”

List of “the classic story of how the ice princess fell for the warm ray of sunshine dude” prompts

“Do you know just how annoying you are?” “Not annoying enough to have you ignore me, apparently.”

“You’re smiling because of me! Don’t deny it, it’s right there in plain view,” Character A says, cupping the side of Character B’s neck. “But you know, you should smile more often,” Character A adds, voice softening, drawing Character B closer. Character B’s heart picks up with speed, breath hitching on the inhale. “Because you’re even prettier than usual when you’re smiling.”

“Why are you so nice to me? Everyone else hates me, but then there’s you.” “That’s because they can’t be bothered getting to know the real you — but then if they knew the real you, then I’d have to share you with all these other people and I don’t think I’m too hot on that idea.” “…I just— you can’t just say things like that and maintain a straight face the whole time!” 

“That’s the first time you’ve ever complimented anyone.” “It’s not— it’s not a compliment. It’s me stating the mere truth.”

Character A does something Character B would usually find annoying, but for some reason, when Character A’s the one who does said thing, they find it more endearing than irritating. (That’s kind of when they realise something must be wrong with them.) 

“I can’t get your smile out of my head and it’s worrying me a lot.” 

“Admit it — you’re in love with me.” “You’re delusional.” “Love, you’re blushing.” 

Character A has always been Character B’s bane of existence, but in between the affectionate smiles and soft touches, Character B starts melting and isn’t quick enough to catch themselves from a very, very steep fall. 

“…Stop hugging me.” “Then don’t hug me back if you want me to stop hugging you.”

“It’s okay, I promise I’ll be there to catch you when you fall.” “Don’t say that, because I might actually end up falling.”

Character A being the only one who can elicit a heartfelt smile from Character B.

“I think I’ve come to care about you more than I want to admit.”

Character B’s complaining about Character A to their friend when they stop and question, “Why are you staring at me like that?” Then Character C answers, “Because you’re listing off every good trait about Character A, disguised as a rant. Sounds fishy if you ask me.” 

Character B being withdrawn and closed off at first, but Character A slowly but surely brings them out of their shell. Slowly, but surely, Character B starts taking a liking towards Character B, with the feelings going beyond your usual friendship, and upon realisation, they pull themselves away to avoid getting hurt; before they’re unable to catch themselves. “Why are you pulling away from me?” Character A confronts them one day, words tinged with a hurt Character B’s never heard from him before. “Because I think I’m starting to fall for you,” Character B whispers, “and it’s so scary, because I’ve never felt this way for someone before. And it’s also such a lonely feeling at the same time.” 

Character B finding it harder and harder to not think about Character A and their dorky grin and stupid face and warm, warm hugs. 

“I built up all of these fucking walls for a reason, and now you’re out here demolishing them and making me feel so vulnerable. I hate it.” 

“You’re one, icy case to break, aren’t you? But I’m going to try my damndest to completely melt those walls away.” 

Character A complimenting Character B and making them all flustered and everything — it’s not like they’ve never heard compliments directed at them before. They’ve had many people complimenting them before, but for some reason, Character A’s compliments mean so much more, and makes Character B feel an inexplicable amount of giddiness, which is so unlike them.

“It’s not that I don’t want to love. It’s that I don’t know how to.” “Then let me teach you, yeah? Promise I won’t do you wrong.” 

“I keep pushing you away yet you keep coming back. Why?” “Because you’re worth both the effort and the heartbreak, and I want you to remember that.”

Small achievements

celebration of your little achievements is one of the ways to boost your self esteem. it is also a way to show how grateful you are about the smallest things that comes your way and it's also a way to boost your happiness as the little things in life matters a lot but it's so sad that a lot of people tend to overlook it, maybe perhaps they've been expecting something bigger.

Hence small achievements that deserve to be celebrated can be;

Character A is very passionate about a certain subject. Character B will sit and listen to them talk about it for hours. Although B claims that they think it’s boring, A knows that they don’t mean it.

B is quite protective of A. while they’re out they place their hand on A’s back, guiding them around and ushering them away from stores and any possible way to spend too much money.

“oh come on, that shop has really cites notebooks.” “you have like fifty of those.” “but i like them.” “no.”

A gets clingy in the mornings. B has to get up for work and A just wants cuddles. you can imagine how that ends.

B is often convinced by A to wear matching outfits. they’d coordinate what colour scheme they both wear.

sometimes when B is tired and doesn’t feel like talking they’ll ask A a question about something they know will cause a rant. B can just listen to A’s voice and not have to do or say anything.

A is the main friend-maker for the both of them, being annoyingly extroverted.
