we love our "cringe" pronouns
we love our "weird" identities
I love our "awkward" behavior
we love our "unnecessary" disability aids
I love our "crazy" style
and the "annoying" stims we do
we love us and no one can change that no matter what they think is "weird" or "wrong" with us
Stop apologizing for who you are
and start celebrating it!! 🎊

i don't want to make this month about discourse, because most discourse is arbitrary and pointless at best, and self-destructive and dangerous at worst. but happy pride month to all queer people in the community that have been targets of exclusion, abuse, or erasure by certain jerks in the community.
trans people, intersex people, black queers, aces/aros, mspecs, neopronoun users, xenogender people, transhets, gnc queer people, multigender people, people who use microlabels, mspec lesbians/gays, polyamorous people, queers with split attraction, and any other groups who have been targets of abuse, exclusion, or erasure by other queer people who should have had their backs.
i don't need to tell you that you're valid because it's not for me or anyone else to decide that your way of describing yourself is "invalid." you are the only person who can label yourself in a way that is fulfilling to you- and if that means not labelling yourself at all, that's great too! but i love you. i'm proud of you for existing, despite the fact that you have to deal with some queer exclusionists hating you on top of the queermisia from non-queers. your existence is beautiful. your queerness is beautiful. be proud of yourself, because you deserve to be.
love you. have a wonderful month, because you deserve to celebrate it just as much as every other queer person <3
and to the exclusionists in question: you don't get to blame the rest of us for hating you when you help make queer spaces unsafe for queer people. worrying about how other queer people identify is such a waste of time, because they're going to identify that way no matter what you think. your opinions on other peoples' validity means absolutely nothing. you are wasting valuable time that you could be using to be proud of your own queerness instead of reveling in your misery about other queer people daring to exist in a way you don't like. so try changing and growing as a person and stop spending all of your time worrying about what other gay people are doing.

hi guys i've been thinking about / considering some xenogenders for a while as a way to metaphorically explain my relationship with my gender and the way it feels.
i don't know a whole lot about xenogenders and thought pride month was a good time to learn more from xenogender users. is this how most use / identify with them ? if it isn't how you experience it, could you share ? would it be wrong to use xenogenders in this way ?
i mainly just wanna hear the experiences of people willing to share ! xenogender users are awesome, and i hope you all have a happy pride month :}

Revised Cringe Pride Flag!
EDIT 11/11/23: Too many edits here, so I'm going to say it. I'm flip-flopping over whether I think using certain languages for aesthetic reasons are appropriative. I'll approve of using Japanese, Chinese maybe Korean characters as kaomojis, but not sure of other languages. This is the final finallll note not noting any more things.
Original description below:
So, there's the cringe pride flag made by this user. I don't know who the original maker of the flag is or the coiner of the term, but apparently the original flag had a Thai numeral on it (๑). Here's proof.
This is the original kaomoji used on the flag: (๑•́ ₃ •̀๑)
And we all know we shouldn't appropriate languages like that without permission. So I made a less offensive, more meaningful one!
Tumblr media
[ID: A flag with seven horizontal stripes. From top to bottom the colors are: three stripes of light purple getting lighter, white, three orange stripes getting darker. In the middle of the flag is a white oval with a cat kaomoji in the oval.]
12/7/22 NOTE: There is a character used here: "ᴥ", which is often pronounced as "ayin" (here's more info about it) Note how it's categorized as a Latin letter and a modifier letter. There isn't much info about it, but I'm pretty sure it's from Latin and thus not appropriative to use it. If I'm wrong do tell.
The original definition:
"A flag representing proudness in being labeled as “cringe” and reclaiming being cringe as part your identity. This can be because you are mad/neurodivergent/disabled, identify with xenogenders and/or microlabels, use neopronouns, are part of the lgbtqia+/liom/mogai community, age and/or pet regress, are alterhuman, or more generally are a part of a stigmatised group!"
The purpleish stripes on top symbolize rainbow colors, eyestrains, queer people, age/pet regressors/dreamers, alterhumans, and unconditional happiness and love in who you are.
The reddish stripes on the bottom symbolize altie subcultures (goths, emos, scenes, etc.), mad/neurodivergent/disabled pride, and combating stigmatization and exclusionism
The white stripe in the middle symbolize unity between really colorful aesthetic subcultures and not-so-colorful aesthetic subcultures and the belief that both can work together to reclaim cringe culture but also end it. There's also a cat kaomoji in the middle since it's an animal that is commonly featured in "cringe" subcultures.
recoined in 11/26/22
Tumblr media
[ID: A banner with four lines of text that reads: First line: "The follow term is rated:" Second line: "All Ages." is in all caps and serif green text. Third and fourth line: "This term was made for everyone. Anyone who genuinely identifies with this term can use it. However, please do not use it to mock or make fun of anyone, as that is against many social medias' terms of services."]

Right now in my art server on discord we're holding a pride art competition! This is just for fun but the winner gets their art as the server picture. This server is completely beginner artist friendly and I'll be posting bases that I made myself for you to use if you want. The competition ends on June 30th and will take place every year.
Server rules under cut if you want to read them before joining
1: No homophobes, transphobes, racists, zionists, antisemites, xenophobes, ableists, or any other bigots. We are inclusive to queer identities including xenogenders. We are inclusive of every race, ethnicity, and culture including indigenous and native people like the owner of this server.
2: No NSFW the owner of this server is a minor.
3: No slurs even if you can reclaim it.
4: No AI "art".
5: No nfts.
6: No proshippers comshippers or darkshippers.
7: Only trace art with permission from the og artist, disclose that you have traced, and give credit.
8: Tracing from real life isn't a bad thing let's not judge people for it.
9: Only constructive criticism, don't be mean.
10: No unwarranted critique.
11: Some users may have typing quirks or a unique way of speaking. Making fun of them won't be tolerated. If you need a translation the owner is more than happy to provide one.
