Self care || Bucky Barnes x Reader
Tumblr media
Summary: Bucky always seemed interested in your skin care routine, so when one day he arrives tired and drained from a mission, you take the opportunity to show him the importance and benefits of self-care.
Warnings: established relationship, brief mention to Bucky’s past trauma, a fuck ton of fluff, my little knowledge of skin care lol
English is not my first language
Word count: 2200
Notes: this was inspired by a dream I had. I thought it was cute and I couldn't get it out of my head, so I wrote this little thing. If it doesn’t make sense, blame my dumb dreams lol
Tumblr media
It was one of the first times you slept over at Bucky's place that you discovered he didn't have a skin care routine. He would look at you cleansing your face from the bathroom door, watching you apply creams and serums with a mixture of admiration and confusion in his expression. And every time you picked up a new product, he would ask you what it was and what did it do.
It didn't really surprise you, most of the men you had dated tended to use a small number of personal hygiene products and usually the facial skin was only treated with soap and water. And if that was men your age, it was to be expected that Bucky and his over one hundred years of age were not aware of the benefits of skin care. You found his reactions kind of adorable. It wasn't every day that you caught Bucky acting with the naïve curiosity of a child, and you couldn't help but laugh as you answered his endless questions.
"Please tell me you at least wear sunscreen." You said and Bucky remained silent. "Oh my God, Bucky!" you complained, explaining to him how dangerous the sun was for his skin.
"After all I've been through, I don't think a little sun is going to kill me, doll." He laughed, coming up to you to hug you from behind. You wrapped your arms around his, smiling at him in the mirror as he rested his chin on your shoulder.
The bastard knew how cute he was —looking at you through the mirror with blue eyes full of love—, and he was using it to his advantage to keep you from scolding him. He was probably right, the super soldier serum surely protected him from skin cancer in the same way it protected him from hits and falls that would be fatal to the rest of humanity. But still, it wouldn't hurt him to take care of himself a little every now and then.
"You smell nice." Bucky praised you, inhaling the subtle floral scent the creams had left on your skin. He gave you a kiss on the cheek, his stubble tickling your sensitive face. You laughed and he knew he had won.
"Don't think you're getting out of this so easily." you warned, tilting your head to the side so you could kiss him. "Flattery will get you nowhere!"
From that day on you decided that you would put together a skincare routine for Bucky. Super Soldier serum or not, everyone's skin needed a little help from time to time. And besides, you believed it was something that could benefit Bucky in more ways than just one. It would teach him to take better care of himself and to value the precious 'me time'. And god knew he needed that. So you made a mental note to buy a couple of products for him the next time you went to restock some of your kit and stopped thinking about it for a while.
That was until one day Bucky came home tired from a mission. You didn't quite know what he had to do and he didn't want to tell you much about it either when you asked him. Not knowing tore you apart, but you respected his wishes and didn't press the issue, deciding to help him in a way that wasn't invasive. You started with running him a bath, filling the tub with warm water and using some of your bath salts and lotions to create a more relaxing environment. You insisted on taking care of him, although Bucky didn't put up much resistance, surrendering to the soothing power of your caresses on his hair. Your fingers gently massaged his scalp, coating it with shampoo to remove all the dirt before rinsing it and repeating the process with conditioner.
He still found such intimacy a bit strange. Even though he enjoyed it, he still wasn't completely used to being cared for with the affection you showed him. It had been so long since anyone had treated him with such love and care that he could hardly remember it. But he felt safe in your hands, happy to have you in his life. A light of hope at the end of the dark tunnel of agony that had been his life. That was what you were to him. His second chance to live, to love. So he relaxed under your touch and let your gentle caresses take all the tiredness and worries out of his system.
But your pampering didn't end when Bucky got out of the tub. After he changed into his pajamas and laid down on his side of the bed, you emerged from the bathroom with a small white bag in your hands. You rested it on the nightstand and began pulling out various products he recognized from your skin care routine, arranging them in a nice neat line.
"Doll... what are you doing?" Bucky asked, looking at the pink cat-ear headband you held in your hands. It was the one you always wore when you did your makeup or skin care routine, a tool you used to keep your hair out of your face while you worked. He always thought you looked adorable when you used it, but he didn't understand why you were directing it at him this time.
"Taking care of you." You replied as if it were obvious, "I want to show you the benefits of having a good skin care routine." Bucky hesitated for a moment, but eventually gave in to your soft smile and the sparkle of enthusiasm in your eyes. There was nothing he could say no to if you looked at him that way.
He gave you a slight nod and you took that as a signal to continue. You climbed onto the bed, settling onto his lap with one leg on either side of him, so you could face him and work more comfortably. Bucky put his hands on your hips instinctively, the cold metal of his fingers giving you goose bumps at the unexpected touch. But you didn't move them, you liked his hands there.
"First we have to make sure your hair is out of the way." You announced as you placed the headband on his head, making sure no hair was out of place or near his face. You couldn't help but let out a giggle as you admired Bucky wearing the accessory. The pink, furry cat ears looked so out of place it was ridiculous. The clear feminine energy of the headband clashed against the distinctive masculine look on his expression in a fun and charming way. It made him look adorable if you were honest, especially when he smiled at you. He could definitely pull it off.
"How do I look?" Bucky asked, batting his eyelashes in an exaggerated fashion.
"Adorable." You replied between giggles, before giving him a quick peck on the lips.
When you broke apart, you began your skin care routine, taking a piece of cotton and your favorite micellar water to cleanse Bucky's skin. He looked at you closely, taking advantage of the position you were in to admire your beauty up close while you concentrated on soaking the cotton ball in the liquid. You were the most beautiful woman in the world, he was sure, and not only that, you were kind and loving too. A wonderful person all around and he still didn't understand how he had managed to get you by his side, but he was happy about it.
"Why do you have to clean my face? I just showered." Bucky mumbled with his eyes closed, feeling your delicate fingers on his chin as you ran wet cotton across his face.
You let out a giggle. "Water is not enough! And regular soap is too harsh on the skin of our face, so you need to use a cleanser or cream that is meant for the face."
"I never heard about that." Bucky frowned, tilting his head slightly to the side in confusion.
"Because you're a guy and guys are used to using one product for everything hygiene related."
“That’s not true!” he tried to defend himself, although he didn't sound very convinced.
You decided to skip a few steps in the routine to keep things simple. The idea was not only to pamper Bucky and help him relax, but also show him that maintaining a skin care routine didn't have to be complicated and could bring him many benefits. So you went straight to the eye cream, taking some with your ring finger and carefully applying it to the bags under his eyes.
"Stay still! You're gonna make me poke your eye if you move like that!"
"It already feels like you're poking my eye!"
"Don't be so dramatic!" You laughed, men really were cry babies. "Just close your eyes and trust me." Bucky grumbled, pouting. You planted a quick kiss on his lips, and that seemed to please him because he kept his eyes closed and stopped moving. Carefully, you spread the eye cream over his dark circles, giving his skin time to absorb the product before proceeding with the last step.
"What is that?" Bucky asked you curiously as you reached for the last tub in the line of products.
"It's a night cream. You're supposed to use it at night after you wash your face to keep your skin moisturized."
"Isn't that what the other cream did?"
"No, silly! That was just for your under eye area, this helps hydrate the rest of your face. We need to give back all the good things we got rid off when we cleaned your skin of all the dirt and oils clogging your pores."
Bucky made an annoyed face, muttering about how complicated it all sounded. But the truth was, he was enjoying the extra attention you were giving him. He had you all to himself, the warmth of your body enveloping him in a comforting embrace as your fingers gently massaged his face. He couldn't think of a better definition of paradise than that. Just the two of you sharing an intimate moment, far from the horrors of the outside world. He could commit to a skin care routine if it involved at least a third of the pampering you were giving him at that moment.
"You don't need to use much," you continued your explanation, dipping one of your fingertips into the cream before bringing it up to Bucky's face. "Just a little bit here, here, here... and here." You painted a couple of white dots on his cheeks, forehead and chin, kissing the tip of his nose before applying a bit of cream to the area. It was such a cute and intimate act he almost blushed.
The first thing Bucky noticed about the cream was the scent. It had a light rose fragrance that was familiar to him, comforting even. It traveled up his nostrils as you massaged the cream into his face, sparking a warm and fuzzy feeling inside him. It took him a few seconds to understand that it was because that was the same rose scent he recognized on your skin whenever he kissed you, that sweet floral scent he had learned to recognize as home. He finally knew he had your choice in moisturizer to thank for it.
"You're using your cream on me?"
"Yes, it's the only one I had. The perfume doesn't last long, don't worry. I'll buy you an unscented one tomorrow."
"No, don't! I like this one, it smells like you... it's like having a little piece of you with me all the time."
You didn't expect him to say that, so you weren't prepared for the tingling warmth of love that coursed through your body. The idea that he wanted to keep you close at all times, that he recognized your scent and found comfort and safety in it, made your heart melt with love. Bucky was normally a man of few words, and tended to show his feelings with other things rather than words. Acts of service were his most common way of showing how much he loved you, although he also resorted to spending quality time together whenever you had free time. But every once in a while, he would manage to drop a sentence like that, which in concise words made it clear how much he loved you. Always taking you by surprise, he would drop them at the most casual moments, leaving you completely stupid for a few seconds as you processed his words and wondered what you had done to deserve having someone so wonderful in your life.
Bucky gave you a shy smile, cheeks turning pink under your gaze, feeling exposed and vulnerable. He looked so adorable that you couldn't help but join your lips with his in a slow, loving kiss. He reciprocated immediately, one of his hands leaving your waist to cradle your cheek, pressing you tighter against him and deepening the kiss.
"I love you," you muttered against his lips, pressing your forehead against his as you gazed into his deep blue eyes.
Bucky smiled, feeling the last bit of stress evaporate from his system thanks to you and your sweetness.  "I love you too."

Hey, I have DpxDc God Au prompt for you: Dani is the goddess of untraditional families, traveling, clones, and lost (emotionally and locationwise, not deathwise) children. She becomes a patron to many people (mostly kids and teenagers) struggling in the hero community and otherwise and comes to help them in times of emotional turmoil. Kon is one of her followers/friends, the speedsters pray to her for multiple reasons, and Billy and her sometimes hang out. Danny is the god of protection, space, revival, and neglected and lost children (emotionally and those who died before they reached adulthood). He also ends up becoming a patron for many heroes and abused kids. He helps Jason out when he dies young and gets revived. (Bruce prays to Danny for Jason when he dies to beg Danny to help Jason find peace in the afterlife if there is one). Danny also befriends Tim when he’s all alone in Drake Manor and keeps him company when he can and helps him survive. Dan on the other hand is the god of apocalyptic futures (and alternate and future evil selves), repentance and redemption, aggression, and devastation (emotional and deathwise). He doesn’t want most of his domains to be so dark, but it’s weird how much overlap there is between the same people praying to him along with Danny and Danielle. (SO many heroes have apocalyptic future/evil selves and have done terrible things. Example: Tim: Evil future gun batman and Jason: Aggression and Repentance/Redemption. They would definitely pray to Dan just in case). They’re all pretty respected gods who have been known for ages, worshiped, who actually help not just their followers but those who need their help that fall in their domains. The mythology got a bit weird throughout history, but the Dan(y/i)s were generally thought to be benevolent sibling/triplet gods. Jazz didn’t have enough power to ascend to goddesshood, but she was a patron spirit of psychology and mental health, and low-key a patron of people with eldest daughter syndrome (Looking at you, Dick). Then of course there’s Vlad. Mostly creeps want to pray to Vlad. He’s thought of as more of a predatory demon than a god, he has never been known as benevolent. He embodies most if not all of the seven deadly sins and his domains and immorality reflect that. He is the god of theft, power, greed, lust, cheating, obsession, ego, twisted family, immorality, corruption, envy, and vengeance. He has more domains than the Dan(i/y)s either because he was depicted so negatively from all of his schemes that people just gave him all the dark domains, or because he stole several artifacts and found some loopholes to get more power for himself. The Dan(ny/i)s stand together as one to protect the world from Vlad’s immorality, however there are some moments where Vlad helps starving children steal food or things they need to live, helps people to steal medicine they can’t afford to bring to a sick loved one. He gives self esteem and confidence to those who pray for it that struggle with self worth or mental illness. So yes, he is a more morally bankrupt god, but he has his good moments. Anyways, please write more of this prompt in whatever way you see fit. It could be stuff from the batfamily’s and/or halfas perspective as the years go by and they interact with the gods or something like that as vigilantes and as civilians, or you can write scenes out with the hero community or batfam discussing the little pantheon or whatever, or go into further detail with my examples, have conflict between the Dan(i/y)s and Vlad, change things up, or anything you want. Thank you!
Wonder Woman watches as Nightwing very claps his hands, bows his head, and mutters under his breath. The language is one she is not fluent with but has started to learn over the years in her time of man.
Esperanto.
She can pick out a few words. Enough to know that Nightwing is sending a prayer and hopes of a "Older Sibling" patron saint. He wants her to keep a eye over his younger siblings and to offer him "inner- peace".
Diana is aware that all of Bruce's children, minus Dick, are out on extremely dangerous missions. Dick had been benched due to an injury he sustained in the last confrontation. He was sent to the watch tower were a team of trusted surgeons had operated on his leg.
He would be fine in time but it would be a long wait before he would be ready to go out to the feild.
Understanding that he needed guidance from his gods, she waited paintently for him to finish, taking a few steps away from the doorway of his recovery room so as not to overhear any further prayers. A conversation between gods and man should remain private.
As she leaned on the wall outside, she wondered—not for the first time—who the Bats prayed to. Athena and Aphrodite would always have her loyalty, but she acknowledged that there were gods outside of her own.
She met some of them.
And while she had never seen the Bats or anyone else from Gotham's gods, she knew they were worshiped and believed as much as her sisters loved on Themyscira. It would be rude to ask about them, when she would never offer the gods of Gotham any offerings, so she refraimed but she wondered.
Oh she wondered.
She had witnessed Bruce pray to one of them, usually after a complex case involving children. He never mentions the god by name, but much like Nightwing, he clasps his hands, bows his head, and mutters that rhythmic language. Once, he even saw him place a star carved from one of the stones of his historical home by the window of the watch tower.
He had engraved all his children's hero names into it and allowed the moon to power it with protection.
Jason prayed as well, but not as profoundly as his family. He was Catholic growing up, and his mother often refused to have him pray to another god despite everyone else in Gotham doing so. He only did so as Red Hood because, according to Jason, that was the only time he needed Dan or Vlad.
Diana wondered if those were gods or people in his gang. Jason did not say their names with the same reverence as she did her gods.
Tim, on the other hand, took his Gotham-based region very seriously and had an entire timesheet of proper prayers. He did not pray every day nor did he stop what he was doing in order to do so, but he made it very clear that he would not be availbe three times a week for religious purposes.
Short of an emergency, those three hours every week were dedicated to his rituals for all of Gotham's gods. Diana knows that Steph, Barbara, Cass and Bruce would join only one of those three hours for their own god prefernce.
Despite that however, they were not very religious and often she wondered if the Bats were more atheists. Maybe meeting the gods and fighting some of them had the people of Gotham numb to the faith.
Or Gotham had the practices for such a long time that it became a background, much like tax season. Diana had noticed that despite the prayers and the dedication, the Bats treated their gods much like suppursitations to do before a big game.
It was a odd system to her, but once again, the "Gotham's Stars and Shadows" were not her gods. She did not have enough information to make any sort of statement about them.
Maybe they preferred to be treated as superstitions? Or maybe they liked to be close to their followers to the point they saw them the same way they did decorating their bedrooms? - A form of self-expression but not true faith.
A cold breeze blew by her, shocking Diana into a combat formation. There shouldn't be any wind up here. They are in space.
A whispered laugh echos down the hall, and for a brief moment she senses a god. Falling to her knee just in case, she stares towards the laughter watching a quick outling of a woman with flaming hair and a young girl in a black pony tale laugh and skip.
In their hands are carved stares, glowing green.
They vanish just as quickly as they appeared, but she knows who they were without having to call out to them.
"Diana?" Dick says from the doorway, pushing his wheelchair. "Are you alright?"
"Yes. I am." She smoothly slide up to her feet smiling at him in what she hopes is comforting. "Have you finished speaking to yoyr gods."
"Yeah I hope they protect my siblings and help find Kon."
She thinks of the laughing ladies "I assume they will."
An hour later, Kon is recovered, and Tim miraculously escapes death due to strong wind and a conveniently thrown traveling map into his attacker's face. Diana witness the superman clone add a stone form Kent Farm to the one by Batman's in the watchtower.
It has the words Red Robin carved within a heart. She smiles.

hey bestie <333
congratulations on 200 followers !! you deserve it and more !! 🫶
im thinking some Gojo fluff inspired by After Last Night by Silk Sonic? I love that whole album and I always get gojo vibes from it 🥹
love you and congrats again ‼️🥰
pairing: gojo satoru x reader | 1.1k words summary: fluff, lots of pining, slightly suggestive due to implied 18+ content, satoru is whipped as he should be, he's just a lil guy pls give him a hug he has sm love he wants to share !! a/n: RAHHH casey this request was sm fun i love this song and it absolutely gives satoru vibes !! anyways ty for being my number one supporter babes. i hope you enjoy this @novasatoru mwah ily <33
satoru considers himself to be rational. even though he can be loud, excessive, dramatic, he has always been rational. most people don’t know or understand all the detailed thought he puts behind every decision he makes. all because of his rationality.
sure, sometimes he can be a little reckless, but not in a way that is irrational. he’s reckless in childish ways, ways that make him seem obnoxious and yet frustratingly endearing.
but he’s not reckless like this. not irrational like this.
satoru’s not reckless so he knows it can’t be possible that you’re here, in his bed, naked skin just barely covered by his sheets. he knows it can’t be possible that you’re here first thing in the morning because there’s no way you went to bed with him the previous night. he knows, for sure, that he couldn’t have crossed all the lines he set with you for years in just a matter of minutes.
but the purpled bruises littering your skin, the scattered clothing across his bedroom floor, and the warmth of your bare body pressing against him tells him enough.
he’s speechless for a second, mind going haywire as he tries to remember what exactly happened and how he could’ve been so careless. years and years of friendship with you, all changed in a matter of one night.
you were always supposed to be one of his closest friends. sure, he would pay any price to see you smile and sure, he’d gladly take your side over anyone else’s.
and obviously, satoru would destroy the whole world if you so much as batted your eyes at him and said please.
but that’s normal because he is your best friend.
but no where in his plans did he ever think to cross this line. after so many moons of pushing back his less than appropriate thoughts. after wondering how good your lips would taste as you sweetly whispered his name. after all of that, he didn’t think his self control would dissipate like this.
there’s a brief memory of the previous night, tipsy words of confession and sloppy passionate kisses, that sends his mind reeling.
he’s pulling himself out of bed in an instant, slipping his clothes on and hoping they somehow manage to ground him because god, it feels like his head is floating.
he’s choosing to ignore how fantastic his heart feels to see you curled up in his bed like that, hair splayed across his pillows like you’ve always belonged there.
instead satoru steps into his kitchen, snowy bangs resting across his forehead as he tries to figure out what he’s going to say to you when you wake up. honestly he’s a little worried himself. how would you react? would you tell him you made a mistake or would you be angry at him for letting it happen?
truthfully he’s never cared much about other people’s feelings, but yours somehow have the power to impact his whole day.
he figures that he can live with it, if you think it was a mistake. he’d be pathetically heartbroken, he realizes, but your comfort matters most to him. and if all he was destined for in this life was your friendship, he’d never do anything to jeopardize it. it’d be enough for him.
satoru doesn’t even realize he’s made two cups of coffee instead of one.
he steels himself, watching his murky reflection ripple in the mugs, and knowing that he would respect your wishes no matter how much it bothers him. he won’t say anything, because he'd rather silently live with his own idiotic feelings than risk losing you for good.
“morning.”
he almost jumps, unusually startled because only you could catch the man who saw the world through the Six Eyes off guard. any plans he’s made on what to say or how to say it fly straight out the door when he turns to look at you, his throat going dry as he takes you in.
you hair is mussed and your expression is still dazed, a sleepy pout on your face as you rub at your eyes. you blink at him slowly, an inquisitive little expression on your face as you pad over to him and peer at the stove. “you making food?”
he nods wordlessly, still a little breathless because gods above you’re wearing his shirt like it’s yours and his brain is in overdrive. it’s so hard to think, to even breathe, because satoru has wanted this for so long and it’s finally here like it had always been here in the first place. like it’s normal, regular.
“can i have some too, ‘toru? i’m really hungry.”
he has to take a minute to bask in the intimacy of this moment because it’s honestly making his thoughts stutter. “u-uh yeah, ‘course you can.” he’s handing you one of the mugs before he can even comprehend it, and you take it from him gratefully.
he feels oddly parched as he watches you take a sip, looking at him with dewy eyes over the rim, and he waits with bated breath as you open your mouth to speak. “did you sleep okay last night?”
it’s such an innocent question and he’s almost completely sure he shouldn’t be overthinking it like a fool but he knows it in his soul that he’s nothing if not a fool for you. you make every rational thought evaporate from his normally over calculating brain, make his body react without a touch, make his mouth move faster than his thoughts can.
and this time is no different.
“fuck i’m so in love with you.”
you blink up at him, and he’s cursing himself for even opening his mouth, but then you’re grinning up at him like he’s said the most endearing thing ever. “well i should hope so. i’d be pretty bummed if you told me you loved me last night and then woke up and changed your mind.”
satoru’s breath hitches, and he briefly wonders when and how he managed to confess his love for you the previous night, but then he realizes he doesn’t care all that much because you’re smiling at him like he puts the stars in your sky.
which for you, he absolutely would do.
so he does the only thing he feels is right for the moment. he bends down to press a chaste kiss to your lips, heartbeat unusually erratic as he feels you melt into him, before pulling back and giving you a cheeky smile. “i’m not even close to done loving you.”

You know, I really like how Yana has a different “Yuu” for each chapter in the TWST manga.
I hadn’t a moment to truly look at it until now - but I feel like the story is perfect for an alternate reality theme. The only way any Yuu would be able to ‘fix’ every problem would be if they were some kind of Mary Sue or shounen protag.
I love how each Yuu is reflective of the Dorm leaders. Of *course* the Heartslabyul chapter is going to have a strong, buff, very jock-like Yuu. That’s the complete foil of who Riddle is. Not to mention how it’s reflective of the Dorm’s rambunctiousness.
And *of course* Savanaclaw’s Yuu is a woman. Women are powerful and respected in the Sunset Savannah. Leona’s more likely to listen to a female Yuu, and most of the students in his dorm are strength-oriented that would crumble under the authority of a feminine god.
Then we have Octavinelle’s Yuu - my favorite, personally. He loves food, has a tender heart, and has a bit of chub. Now - yes he’s what Azul fears he will become but *also* I think this Yuu is reflective of Azul’s mother and her ideals. Or at least is the man she was raising Azul to be until his self-hatred began. I feel like most Octavinelle students have a flip side to them, so a Yuu that’s true to himself is perfect for this chapter.
I write my fics similar to this actually - every character has a Yuu in my mind that I think would match them. I don’t just write with one personality for Yuu in my works. Just an example, but the Yuu I place with Deuce is extremely different than the one I put with say Floyd when writing. Both physically and personality wise. It gets a bit wishy-washy since I have to write in 2nd person most of the time, but it’s still there when I’m formulating scenarios. Especially when I write anything that has dialog or flitters into Yuu’s thoughts. This really came out when writing the plot for my game since it’s dialog heavy.
I won’t make it because I’m already doing one game (and I want to move on after this), but there’s some good wiggle room for an alternate reality spinoff using TWST. Like once TWST finishes its main plot, there could definitely be some branching where Yuu has a bit more personality and different routes to go down depending on their chosen dorm.

How do you think the party would react if Tav was a Fallen Aasimar? I sure it hinges on the God's aliment. What if it was a God they worship?
Reacting to a fallen aasimar Tav
[Bg3, fluff, nb!reader]
[Shadowheart, Wyll, Karlach, Halsin, Astarion, Gale, Minthara, Laezel]
You used to serve a god they worship/worshipped. I took some liberties with the godless characters.
Tumblr media
Shadowheart - Selune
Assuming it happens either after the game ends or in an alternative universe where Shadowheart never abandoned Selune. Then she'd be very conflicted.
What could you have possibly done to have the most gentle of goddesses stripping your wings? Moonlight melting your silvery feathers until they're nothing but abyssal black and ash.
Her lady is wise, therefore she will be very wary of you. Yet at the same time, she can't help but feel a sense of familiarity when she looks at you. It drives away her prejudice for a moment and lets her judge you for your action, no matter how blasphemous the act of questioning her goddess's judgment might be.
Wyll - Tyr
To fall from celeste is to become a fiend. How are you any better than the devils below in the hells?
If he was his younger self, he wouldn't have hesitated to deliver you to justice, and yet the horns on his own head weight heavy like a crown paid for in a lifetime of experience. He knows better than anyone that nothing is ever what it seems like.
This Wyll is wiser, more understanding and open. He's willing to extend the same courtesy to you that he wished someone would've done to him before.
Let him hear you out, friend. Tell him what befelled this fate upon you.
Karlach - Tymora
She is more confused about how you managed to anger the smiling lady herself. It takes a special kind of asshole to turn their back on good fortune and lady luck.
An aasimar at that too? A messenger of luck?
She's never been big on the whole religion thing, to be honest with you, yet the wamrth and good fortune her goddess extended to her is still one of the best gifts she has ever been given.
So what happened? How did this even happen?
She'd never be hostile towards you nor exlude you as long as you don't do anything sinister. She genuinely belives in sharing her good fortune with everyone no matter who.
Halsin - Silvanus
Oak father preserve him. To Halsin, seeing you brings as much joy to him as seeing the shadow curse spread.
His God's teachings aren't that hard to follow, just respect the natural order and preserve all living beings. He has been diligently upholding this code through his life and spreading the teachings back at the grove.
Yet, the oak father himself marked you as an endangerment to the very being of nature. To the ancient trees and sprouting spring flowers, you reprsent the slithering all-consuming wither and rot.
He is very uncomfortable around you, not just on his guard, but you can see that he would rather be anywhere else than near you. Yet, feels like he had to keep an eye on you just in case you burn down a forest or something behind his back.
Astarion - Corellon
Honestly, he doesn't even remember worshipping the old elf or anything. He just assumes it given his previous stature and ancestry.
Not that the self-proclaimed protector of all elves has ever given him a single second of his time since he became an undead. No matter how much he prayed, it seems that the blood running through his veins barely counted anymore when it wasn't his own blood to begin with.
Fuck him, along all the other gods who turned their back on him for 200 hundred years of pure shit. It's a good thing you fell, he tells you, at least now your powers are yours alone. What's a god if not just another master to get you to do their biddings?
He is interested in you, mostly in your powers, to be more precise.
But it also encourages you to seek your own path and never think of grovelling for forgiveness or your feathers back.
Gale - Mystra
He makes a lame ass joke about if that makes him your stepfather. Dad puns included.
Surprisingly, he doesn't make a big deal out of it, even if it was before he fully got over his ex.
He's a scholar first and a lover second. He is genuinely very interested in learning about you and aasimars. Meeting one in a lifetime is a miracle. They're so rare that they're barely documented even. So imagine meeting a fallen one? He is beyond intrigued by you and your nature.
Sure, your morality might come into question, but he will worry about that later. For now, he is more interested in inspecting your wings and asking borderline intrusive questions about how serving Mystra was like.
Evil alligned deities.
Aasimars don't have many rules about them in dnd, but for one, they are classified as celestial beings. So technically, they can't ever serve evil alligned gods. It's never officially stated, tho so it is up to interpretation.
Devils or fiends serve the evil deities instead, so i thought why not make the reason the aasmire fell is because they decided to serve the evil god for the character.
In the next headcanons, falling is considered a good thing. Whoever your previous good god was that you used to serve, you abandoned them and went to serve an evil deity instead which is why you fell.
Laezel - Vlaakith
A good choice, a wise choice even. Laezel might not be versed much in the gods pantheon but she is sure whoever your old deity was, they couldn't have compared to her queen.
You have her respect, the same respect she'd extend to a kitherak even. In her eyes, you're the embodiment of the red dragon and rider knight both in one. Your wings and shinning blade speak for themselves.
She is honoured, fascinated too. Yet her admiration is a double edged sword, for she will hold you to impossible standards and consider it meeting the bare minimum.
Minthara - Lolth
She almost pities you, willingly becoming another pawn in this endless chessboard of drow conflict. Another gem to decorate Lolth's whip with as she inflicts it on whoever she sees fit.
Either you're foolishly naive or a complete masochist to dedicate yourself to the spider queen. Either way, she will test you herself to see exactly what you're made of.
As someone who abandoned Lolth, she'd be wary of anyone who serves her goddess. Yet you haven't cut off her head yet, how strange?
Minthara doesn't hide her disdain for Lolth around you, both warning you of the cruel fate awaiting you no matter how much of a good pet you're to your goddess.
For the longer you stay loyal to Lolth, the more of an endangerment you become to Minthara herself.
Shadowheart - Shar
Another child of the darkness, another sibling of the night to guide her through this journey. Shadowheart thinks your meeting was fate, a reward from her dark lady.
Especially if you saved her from the ship, she'd see you as her hero, a shining black diamond amonst the rubble and mud.
Mirroring how Laezel would've acted in fact, their dangerous fickle admiration of you that you never asked for would force a magnifying glass over both your flaws while exaggerating your achievements.
She doesn't hide her Shar worship from you this time around. She is proud, especially by you by her side. She will be your shield and recovery as long as you be her sword and wings.

some thoughts on Zevlor's reaction to Astarion feeding off you; Zevlor x romance reader x Astarion
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Zevlor hates Astarion to begin with because he's a vampire. Hellriders have horrible history with vampires. He would never trust one, let alone talk to one. The only reason he does with Astarion is out of respect for you. You make him have faith in Astarion, albeit a small amount.
He's jealous and suspicious of your behavior around that vampire. Did you shiver just now? Why is he following you around? Does he have to lean close when speaking to you? Why do you look sick? Zevlor wants you to tell him, please. He's watching you with concern, his brows always furrowed. Zevlor might even draw his sword when he makes eye contact with Astarion.
How did he find out you were a meal ticket/response? He found you pale and near death in your tent. Your poor neck is bloodied and bruised. He gasps and checks you for a pulse. He had brought you flowers for helping Arabella. He kneels before you. He's a paladin first and foremost. Even if you were a cleric and better healer than him, this man heals you himself. You're weak but alive. He hushes you when you say you'll do it and stays to guard you that night. He watches over you silently, you have been attacked by that thing. He stays awake and watches the fire, his elbows on his knees. His horns are low, and he looks feral as he grinds his teeth together. His heart beats faster. His face is a deeper shade of red. His mind is plagued with thoughts of you and that thing. Of Astarion over you, his body, his mouth on you, his fucking hands on you. He cracks his neck as he thinks of Astarion making love to you.
He's moving straight to Astarion, sword drawn and marching with intent to defend your honor. And maybe revenge for himself too. How in the nine hells you managed to catch him in time you'll never know. Zevlor is angrily comparing Astarion to a parasite as Astarion lands blows about foulbloods and ex-hellriders. You try to nudge between the two before someone gets hurt. Finally, after some help, you're able to separate the two, and you walk Zevlor back to his chamber. You spend the night explaining your situation.
You are an angel in his eyes, and he trusts you, but he is on full alert now. Man is your personal bodyguard and caretaker. He doesn't care what needs to get done, sit down and eat. Drink clean water. Carry more potions, love. Stop arguing and rest. He stands guard when IT eats and pulls his sword out when Astarion takes too long. He tolerates zero pleasure between you and Astarion.
Oathbreaker Zevlor is counting down the days until he can get rid of Astarion. You and Zevlor need to live your lives and Astarion needs to go. He is always there for you, worried over your safety. He watches you, craving your attention. He's obsessed over your love for him. And can you blame him? He's lost his God and his self-respect. His position in power and his brothers-in-arms. His home. Everything. All except you. His Angel. The one who makes him young again. He can't lose you too.
He won't.
And he refuses to share you.

I've been thinking about how to articulate a thought I had about a possible Doylist/non-diegetic reading(EDIT: I originally wrote "Watsonian" here, which is the opposite of what I meant X| X| Brain, you Tricksome Jester *shakes entirely metaphorical fist*) of Eridan's Trollian handle, caligulasAquarium, in response to a post of @mmmmalo's, and I think I've got it.
Ok So: the popular perception of Caligula is as a "Mad Emperor". One of the points used in this depiction is his "War on the Sea", which is taken as obvsl absurd and empty and irrational(and possibly hubristic). Eridan chooses to call himself "caligulasAquarium" and he lives in a wrecked ship(a feature commonly put in aquariums)... on the surface.
So like: maybe the title is meant to be taken by the audience as ironic. Eridan's claim to an "Aquarium" is as absurd and empty and irrational as Caligula's claim to have warred upon the sea(in the common understanding of those events; as a matter of history this seems to be a Telephone distortion, from the sources I can find).
A few more points that have occurred to me since I started writing this:
Caligula "Made War on the Sea"; Eridan wants to "Make War on the Surface" by Killing All Landwellers, carrying forward the themes of inversion btwn Alternia and Earth.
Also: "Kill All Landwellers", "Kill All Humans": he's lampshading common evil-alien-overlord tropes
...Which in itself is sort of dunking on HIM, since Eridan is nobody's overlord he's just some GUY. Like: Yes, he's "Nobility" due to blood-caste, but he has no influence, no power, no RESPECT from anyone we meet, no friendships let alone alliances with other socially powerful individuals(other than Feferi, who seems to have foresworn all that to monastically care for G'lybgolyb) that he could USE to have influence; he's just a loner with his grand-dad's gun and allot of pretension.
...which you could argue furthers his parody of USian internet white-supremacists? Like: He is THEM: a gun-humping loner who only feels comfortable talking to the people he claims to hate, with no idea how unpleasant he makes himself to interact with, and even less interest in introspection or self-awareness, fetishizing past genocides as a way to claim for himself a "Glorious Past" he had nothing to do with.
As Feferi(and possibly other characters I'm forgetting) point out, Eridan's ambition to Kill All Landwellers is more than a little absurd. He's never really DONE anything to plan or prepare for it, and aside from Fef he exclusively hangs out with and befriends Landwellers, as well as LIVING ON LAND(well: a sandbar or reef). This could be taken as furthering the Caligula "War on the Sea" parallel.
Expanding on the last: Caligula, THE EMPEROR OF ROME and Grandest of Nepo-babies, was rather notably disdainful of and hostile towards the Roman nobility and inherited wealth/rank. This connects to Eridan in two ways I can think of: 1) his avoidance of other seadwellers, and 2) his philosophical hostility to landdwellers while Being, in practice, A Landweller. Basically: both Hate things about themselves shared by others.
Reinforcing #3: the choice of Caligula, a Troll-Emperor. Again: Eridan is Just Some Guy; he does not command armies, he does not command society, he can't even command Equius, who GETS OFF ON being ordered around. This is Pretension.
...which, I guess, you could connect AGAIN back to Caligula via the popular memory of him wanting to be treated "As A God", but it should be noted that 1)everyone who wrote anything about him hated the guy and was explicitly dunking on him, so we don't know how accurate these charges are, and 2)in the Roman context, while legal apotheosis was reserved for after death, imperial Divinity was already de facto given that sacrifices and prayers to the Emperor's health and success were legally mandated civic religious duties, AND 3)that classical Greeks and Romans, contra the Abrahimic societies which would later create this popular memory, considered apotheosis a real possibility for notable individuals.

While we’re talking changing who appears in places- can we change the cats helping out with Sunbeam’s rock trial? I was so confused why the cats selected to help were selected. Sure Cherryfall because she was going to be the one opposing Sunbeam, why not, anyone can do that though honestly and not who I take issue with being there. But Alderheart was there? The medicine cat? Don’t you think he has better things to be doing than pushing a rock around? Where’s Lionblaze aka “I may as well still have my god given super strength”? He could easily be the cat that gets pissy for Sunbeam “not listening to senior warriors” and maybe with age feels that she doesn’t respect him, head of patrols, enough to warrant her staying this sabotaging her in the third trial. I felt robbed that Plumstone who seemed to be established as another bg strong cat was absent. Sure sending Sunbeam with all the strongest cats would make it easy but it’d also be making it safe considering Ivypool didn’t want the rock to hurt anyone and it’s a pecking rock. Why not send your strongest cats to deal with it?
I feel very strongly about this trial, can you tell?
I'm a bit dissatisfied with certain trials in general. Most of the time I LOVE the new trials they made, I think they've been super creative so far, but some have been so lackluster that I need to shine them up.
Namely Berryheart's active attempts to get challengers killed. Someone has to get ACTUALLY hurt by one of those, instead of them just being generally unfair and no one raises an objection about it. I did not like the spring-powered adder that went BOING out of a log.
I will say that I would like to expand on Plumstone in this arc, plus her whole little family. They're in an interesting place, with Bumblestripe coming back from Ferncloud's Parting while leaving his father with the Tribe, Blossomfall still reeling with emotional abuse she suffered at the paws of the impostor, Stemleaf's death and Spotfur raising his kits, and Shellfur's mateship with Fernstripe.
Plumstone ALSO has some stuff going on. She's besties-maybe-dating Thriftear, Bristlefrost's sister, and yet she's one of the more outspoken cats about how she's getting tired of the ThunderClan nepotism. She's strong, reliable, and a competent warrior-- so HOW is it fair that Nightheart keeps getting all these undeserved "chances to prove himself" when SHE is here, SIGNIFICANTLY more orange, and wants her own chance to shine??
I still see her personality as being "a dear" lmao, she's not mean, but she's also not willing to bite her tongue either. She will say what's on her mind, and point out unfair treatment when she feels it.
Thriftear supports this. Yeah, she's a descendant of Firestar and a great warrior, but she EARNED the respect she gets. Bristlefrost did too. Nightheart doesn't even want his legacy, why is this clumsy humbug still getting special treatment?
Good-cat bad-cat pair type thing going on.
So I'm probably going to let them both act as a unit, since BB's Dewnose isn't in ThunderClan and that was a really random pair-up anyway.
("wait! Elder Bones! Where did Dewnose go?" Probably ShadowClan, here is the BB!ThunderClan family tree. There's been shuffles; the Cloudbright kits are now Whitewing, Foxleap, and Icecloud, 3 "singlet" litters, spaced out over years.)
Quickie thoughts on touching up the trials;
(DISCLAIMER: NOT SOLID. WE DON'T REWORK UNTIL ARCS ARE COMPLETE.)
Berryheart's are going to need serious overhauls. Nightheart's were really cute and I enjoyed them, but BB is supposed to be about how her group is escalating towards violence. I do not want them to stay so "cute" for the story I'm telling.
I also don't want to keep Nightheart failing his last one on purpose. I want his growth to be more based in self-realization than trying to let Sunbeam "save face."
I kinda want Fringewhisker to get injured during one of her own, and then Antfur dies as collateral damage in Nightheart's last. I'd like Nightheart leaving to be half him realizing that his BEHAVIOR is a problem, and half for his own safety.
In ThunderClan, I'd like the boulder one to be more about Sunbeam assembling a team, almost like she's a patrol head.
Since it's her second trial and she displayed some pretty fantastic leadership skills with her first one, I've got an inkling of an idea that Squilf actually talked with Ivy about wanting to legitimately assess her talent.
Like, "We both know that this whole trial-system was just to appease the other Clans. These are meant to be easy because idgaf. But wow, Sunbeam was actually impressive with those kits. What else can she do, if we give her the chance?"
I really like writing Squilf as she's described in Bramblestar's Storm, where her good leadership comes from being attentive of details and making everyone feel useful.
Man... maybe ill save Rosepetal for this arc and let her be deputy during this. Something feels very Rosepetaly about this. Maybe even have Rosepetal be clearly treating her as if she's a Secondary Apprentice, preparing her to take over her reputation of being a prolific mentor... Nightheart comes back from his trip only to find Sunbeam with twice as much respect as status as he ever had.
I can always axe Rose later to get Ivypool in... But I also REALLY love all the Ivypool Deputy Drama with how there's a conflict with ShadowClan... man. why are there so many interesting girls.
Maybe Rose doesn't have to be deputy, but Ivy assigns Rosepetal as the only "mandatory member" of the Boulder Patrol. Like a tutorial tip lmaooo
Sunbeam: "I think I will pick......................" STARES AT ROSEPETAL, "aaalderrr-" Rosepetal frowns "--pluuuuumstone??" Rosepetal nods, "Wise choice."
And lastly. The final Sunbeam trial. Ngl hated it. It felt really boring compared to the previous two, which were super interesting and excellent ways to give some spotlight to background characters.
Riddles don't even feel like a ThunderClan thing. Idk that was a very RiverClan (philosophy) or ShadowClan (trickery) kind of thing.
I think I'll hold off on thinking about it though; I think it would be SUPER cool if I totally overhauled that last trial to make it foreshadow the later books, somehow.
I DO want to keep that disney channel ass Cherryfall being a bitch part though. I love her so much. I'm so glad she's walking in her father's pawsteps and becoming the snot-nosed brat of ThunderClan.
I will definitely be changing how Sunbeam HANDLES it though. Hate the way that the books emphasize never telling anyone anything.
In fact, I kinda want to make Sunbeam approach Sparkpelt for advice, to show she finally has a figure she feels like she can trust.
Explicitly contrast the way that she NEVER felt like she could approach Berryheart, and that so much of her appeasing, avoidant behavior had been because she didn't feel safe or respected.
Here, in ThunderClan, she has family. She begins to realize that even if Nightheart came back and dumped her, Sparkpelt and Finchlight would NEVER kick her to the curb.
So she goes to Sparkpelt about how she is being bullied by Cherryfall, and they TALK ABOUT OPTIONS.
Like, you know,
Spark: "We could go to Squirrelstar or the deputy."
Sun: "I don't want to cause a fuss if I don't have to... besides, idk, I don't want to set the peat on fire, it would be nice if I could be on good terms with Cherryfall later."
Spark: "that's very wise of you, but just remember that Squilst is a very fair person. We can always go to her. Do you want any backup at all or do you want to do this on your own?"
Sun: "I think... I think I actually do need to do this on my own. If I was being confronted, I think I would just double down if I was being attacked in a group. That was right with Brambleclaw because you weren't trying to convince him, but... what do you think?"
Spark: "I think Cherryfall's just like her father and her ego is everything to her, so I think you're right on the mouse with all this. Honestly, I don't even know how much I'm helping here!"
Sun: "Oh but you are helping! You're helping a lot! StarClan... it feels so nice to just... have someone to listen. Thanks, Sparkpelt."
Basically, tweak the trials to bring them more in line with the themes and messages of BB, y'know? And also beef up the Clans themselves, by stressing the various personalities that are at play here. Especially since I quite like how Sunbeam in ThunderClan has some super neat traits she wasn't expressing in ShadowClan.
Like... it feels like it could be a really cool story to tell about how supportive environments can make you really shine. How you can suddenly seem like a brand new person, just by having people who have your back and encourage your autonomy.

Hey! I love love love reading unrequited love, and although obvi their love is utterly mutual they don’t necessarily know that sooo
If you know any, could you recommend me some fics were Crowley is ‘pining’ for Azi?
They don’t need to have a happy ending where they get together (might even prefer without) but can do!
Anyways love ur blog tysm :)
These are hard to find! Most are not actually unrequited love. I found a few with hurt/no comfort, and a couple of longer ones where they do end up together in the end, but there is a lot of feeling unloved, pining, and angst before they get there.
i wanna fade away (with you) by Lilyofthevalley26 (G)
Armageddon had come, and Armageddon had passed. They didn’t have head offices to report to anymore. They were free agents. A new emotion joined the others in his chest. It felt like hope.
No Problem by LeotheLionathefootofOrion (M)
No problem, Crowley thinks. No problem at all. Anything for you. Even after two months of radio silence and not even a message on my birthday. No problem. - x - The whole friends with benefits thing really isn’t doing Crowley any favours.
Microcosms by oceantears (G)
“So, Alpha Centauri,” Crowley says, “you never did go there with me. Why? Jus’ not- Not wanting to stick it to Heaven? Still believing in the greater good and all? Not wanting only me for the rest of eternity, afraid you’d get bored of me?” It’s honesty and fear disguised as barely a jab, barely a joke, and they both know it. Crowley can call the stars into existence, but he cannot successfully hide 6,000 years of loneliness and longing and pain. Aziraphale only looks at him for a moment. If he tried, Crowley thinks helplessly, he could find constellations in the angel’s eyes. He could find another universe in them, one entirely untouched by God and Heaven and Hell. One that could be theirs, if only Aziraphale allowed it to be. “Neither,” Aziraphale finally says, “I just- I was afraid. And I… Well. I always found reaching for the stars a rather pointless endeavour when I already have everything I want right here.” Crowley takes a deep, shuddering breath and makes himself say it. Makes his tongue move and form those words they both know so well but have not had the courage to say out loud yet. “But you didn’t,” he forces out, “you didn’t want me. You still don’t.”
Attempts At Healing by alcyme (T)
Imagination can only get you so far. And then there are things not powerful enough to make it to reality. Like feelings of love. Time mends all wounds and that includes a broken heart. After all, what is healing than just reversing time. It would be a shame if The First Healer can’t even heal himself.
Crowley and His Army of Grandmothers by burnt_oranges (NR)
Crowley had impulsively stopped by Artisan Du Chocolate, the next place on Aziraphale’s meticulously ordered list of chocolatiers to sample, and now Crowley wonders--is it too much? He had bought a hundred fucking pounds’ worth of chocolate, of course it’s too much, but would Aziraphale notice that it was too much? That is the question.
Warmth by indigo (E)
Friends with benefits really had to be the very best solution there was for any self-respecting immortal being on Earth. Handy. Convenient. The perfect way to de-stress with none of the hassle of trying to find a human willing to overlook the more demonic parts of appearance. It was reliable. Comforting even. Dependable, emotionless relief. Perfect, Crowley thought. Right up until the point when, well, it wasn’t.

Can you rate all TSAMS characters based on your personal opinions?
Well, I'll start with my favorites, i suppose. This list is from my favorites to least favorites, then my opinions on each one underneath
Eclipse (v3/4), Solar, Eclipse (v1/2), Old Moon (reborn vers), New Moon (before Nexus), Sun, Lunar, Jack, Earth, KC, Ruin, Molten, Old Moon (og vers), Dark Sun, Blood Moon, Nexus.
I'll leave characters like Gemini, the Astrals, Lord Eclipse, Servant Sun, Dazzle and Monty off for now since they aren't really part of SAMS itself or are too minor of characters to form a whole opinion on.
Eclipse v3/4: Definitely my favorite iteration of Eclipse. It was so nice to watch as he grew and changed to become better. As someone who had wanted an Eclipse redemption arc ever since I made my first SAMS AU, Aka: the Regretful Eclipse AU. I'm so glad he got a redemption like i was hoping for. I'm also very touched by his actions as of late. Even if he won't admit it himself, or tries brushing it off as some regular Eclipse trait, he cares. Especially about Earth. The fact he also pushed through what Dark Sun was doing to him in order to try reviving Solar, and even cared enough to try getting Nexus help before he lost it. I was very touched by that too. He also sacrificed himself so Solar could continue to exist, and I have high respect for that. Self sacrifice is one of the highest respectable things someone can do in my opinion. He's also staying behind to try helping with the negative star power stuff despite how badly he wants to leave to ensure their dimension is at least safe or the negative power is dealt with. Best native Eclipse so far.
Solar: He's been a favorite of mine ever since Moon first sent Lunar to meet him. It was so nice seeing a version of Eclipse who is nice. Him also comforting Lunar, and telling him that he was not a mistake. I was so happy when they had him come live with the main cast. I miss him dearly. In all honesty, I had a real genuine grief response after he died. Even though he is fictional and i knew they were probably going to bring him back like they did with Lunar, i still genuinely grieved for him for a bit.
Eclipse v1/2: Honestly, at first, i really hated Eclipse. I wanted him dead and gone. I could appreciate him as a villain though. He was a well put together antagonist in my opinion. Hated the character, but respected him as a villain. I started liking him after I made my Regretful Eclipse AU. Even though I knew he would be nothing like the Eclipse i turned him into in that au, i still started liking him. He used to be my least favorite, but then became one of my favorites. His second iteration was kind of an embarrassment, i'll be real. He did the og dirty when he became aimless and just didn't know what to do with himself after he got the star. I still do appreciate him though, and the fact he somewhat tried to warn them about the astrals before he was blown to bits. I still don't agree with everything he did though and will not defend him in that regard.
Old Moon (reborn): I really like this version of Moon. While i do think his change to be better was pretty fast, i also see it as him being very serious about being a better brother to Sun. I think that ties into how he was feeling before he died. He had a lot of regrets, and wished he was better for him. That is what he was hoping Nexus would be, and for a while, he was, i will not deny that. I like that he is involving Sun a lot more in what he's doing as well. And they have better communication now than they used to. God, i hope that stays... poor communication caused so many problems for them before. Actually.. it caused all their problems-
New Moon: I really liked him at first. I was so happy to see him being better to Sun, and doing things with him that og Moon didn't, like hugging him and comforting him. Then Solar came along, and he started distancing himself from Sun, and sidelining him. Sure, he was still acting better than og Moon, but he wasn't really talking to Sun much anymore and confided in Solar more and more. At that time my biggest gripe with him was how much he was excluding Sun. Then Solar died and he started to spiral. Despite his family offering to help and support him through it, he started lying to them about his feelings and working more secretly. He wouldn't open up about his actual feelings. It took Eclipse telling Earth about what was going on with him to get him to drop the act, and he immediately hurts them for confronting him about it when they just wanted to help. I know people give Earth trouble for "abandoning" him then, but i think they forgot that Earth was also hurting, or just disregarded how she was feeling.. Solar's death affected all of them, and Earth was close with Solar too. She was in a vulnerable mental state too, and he used her insecurities against her in that moment. Then he ran off and hid again, still working in secret to try reviving Solar. And they can't help someone who they don't know the location of, and he made the excuse of them not knowing how to help him to stay away. If he had stuck around instead and let them try to help him, they could have learned what he needed through some trial and error. He didn't give them the chance to learn that. Which is also why i get mad at the people who keep saying that his family should have done more to help him. I feel like they think the family should have known how to help him from the get-go? He didn't exactly make it easy for them either... he fell down my favorites list very fast, especially when he tried to kill Earth. This placement is for when he was still good. Which is also why i have him and Nexus in seperate places here.
Sun: Honestly i don't have a lot of opinions on him. I do admire his persistence despite everything he's been through. He still is nice and caring when he has pretty much every right to be more cynical by now. He still powers through it and upholds his kinder nature. He's a lot stronger than he gives himself credit for. I am glad this current arc is giving him more plot importance than the last couple had, but at the same time, i am also afraid of what it possibly entails down the line with how things are going.
Lunar: Yea, I'll admit, i went crazy about him when he was first introduced like so many fans did. Precious bean, must protect, and all that stuff. Even to the point where i joined one of the monthly events they hosted in the discord. The comic one, where we were supposed to draw things that we thought could happen in the future. My comic was even one of the ones shown in the reaction video they did on the event, the one that had Lunar in it helping Eclipse find the star. (And tbh, i think my comic had a big impact on the plot, since my comic was the only one that had Lunar in it shown in the video, and then shortly after that, it was brought up in a lore video. Quote: Sun: "Lunar! That's his name, he told me his name.... IS THAT WHAT THE FANART IS?!" Moon: "Did they know?!" Sun: "Why didn't they tell us!?" Yea... if i didn't make that comic, i'm not sure if that would have happened, and it may be what helped them find Lunar so fast, but that is all purely speculation) As time went on, he started going down my favorites. I think mainly because i miss how he used to be. I don't hate him, i'm just not head over heels for him anymore.
Jack: I find him adorable, a lot like Lunar was to me at first. He's silly and i love his friendship with Dazzle. I am glad he has grown some as a person too, since he wasn't initially made to be as sentient as the others. I hope he continues to grow as an individual too.
Earth: She was never really a favorite of mine. I'm more neutral about her. I don't hate her. I admire her want to help others even in times where she isn't exactly in the right mindset to do it. She deserves a break though. Her friendship with Eclipse is also very sweet and i love watching it grow.
KC: Also a character I didn't like at first who grew on me after his store visit with Glamrock Freddy that changed him. I admired his want to help people, going against the very code he is named for. I was disappointed when he just let Blood Moon murder him. Made Moon's sacrifice for him almost worthless.
Ruin: Ruin's a Rollercoaster for me. Hated him, kinda liked him, got suspicious of him, questioned myself about him but stayed suspicious, hated him again, now i'm more neutral but worried about him. At least he wasn't trying to cause too much more damage than he has. (Before he was captured by Dark Sun and Nexus..)
Molten: Also kinda a mixed bag. At first, i was almost all for him getting Ruin, but that was also when Nexus wanted to use Ruin as a sacrifice for Solar. And at the time, i was still grieving in a sense. Was mad at him for killing Solar, of course, and was all for sacrificing him for him (grew out of that as time went on), and wanted Nexus to stop Molten so he could use Ruin for Solar. Currently, since Molten is willing to change, i am starting to like him and wish him the best when they finally clear all that crap the creators put into him.
OG Moon: When i first started watching the show, Moon was my favorite general fnaf sb character, so Show Moon quickly became a favorite of mine too. Though he was explosive and abusive to Sun, and i was not a fan of that, yet he stayed my favorite until Lunar came along. I do agree with Nexus when he said that og Moon was a real asshole. I know he somewhat tried to be better, but he fell back on older habits and hurt Sun. I'm so glad he is how he is now, which, again, i think stemmed from his many regrets that he finally came to truly realize when he was set to die. That realization finally put him on the right path.
Dark Sun: I knew from that first episode he appeared in that he was going to become a problem down the line. Or, i at least knew that was not the last we'd see of him. I knew he'd become relevant and lo and behold, i was right. He's honestly confusing. Like, he helps the people he's against. I know it's for his own benefit, it's all part of his plan. Yet, he has said many times before that he just wanted to be left alone. I'm very certain that none of our crew would have sought him out again after that first meeting, so i don't know why he's deciding to meddle in their lives like he is. He's part of the reason Nexus went crazy. He may be the best villain the show has come up with since Eclipse v1. I still don't like him. He also lied about killing his Moon and left the guy to suffer in a cell, all broken. I think Dark Sun's base dimension was a swapped dimension, where he is like Moon, and his Moon was more like Sun. A Sun with Dark Sun's tendencies is honestly very scary to me, so Dark Sun scares me.
Blood Moon: Was never a big fan of them. I kinda see the appeal of them, but it's not my kind of appeal. I liked the first twins better than the clone twins though.
Nexus: I hate him. He used to want to keep his family safe at any cost, but he nearly killed Earth, calling her just "collateral damage" in the situation at the time, and has expressed ill intent towards Lunar, the Astrals, and the others in his ex family. He threatened to hurt Jack who was the last thing Solar made. One would think he'd not want to hurt Jack because Solar made him. Nearly everything that happened with him while he spiraled was his own doing. He lied, he hid, he hurt, and he disowned his family. In the episodes, both Sun and even Earth said they still cared about Nexus despite it all. They didn't disown him, and i don't blame Earth for stepping away when he hurled her insecurities and insults at her, which, she also said she was going to consider forgiving him for before he tried to kill her, which is a reasonable place to draw the line. If not for Puppet, Earth would be dead. I really hope that Nexus just has some sort of virus or corruption making him like he is, and he can be recovered, but i am not seeing this happening anytime soon, if at all. I will not defend him though. He does not deserve it at this point. At first, i could write off his behavior as him grieving, but as he just got worse and worse, it got harder to see it that way. Grief may still have played some factor but it was no longer the main factor after a bit, and then it no longer was. He made his choices and it led him to becoming how he is now. There is no excuse for him anymore. He has no kill code to blame this on. It's himself, and also influence from Dark Sun. I do hope he can still be saved, but i don't see that happening soon.
Apologies for the long rants..

I'm seeing your Bioshock posting. Any project your working on that's related?
(I'm excited I love Bioshock)
Thank you very much for noticing!! I have been pretty obsessed with Bioshock and Rapture since I played it last year and then I had a brainwave about how similar the descriptions of Meliora is to the concept (not the reality iykyk) of Rapture.
So below the read more are some of my rambling thoughts. This may turn into a fic one day or it may just stay an idea but who knows? I have included no spoilers for either Bioshock or Bioshock 2 storylines as most of this takes place pre Raptures construction.

So Jen, you might ask, how would Terzo even be invited to Rapture in the first place? Doesn't Ryan hate religion? Why would Terzo even want to be there?
And I have a very extensive answer for you! (after you chose with me to ignore all dates in canon because for this we need Terzo in his late 20s/30s in the 1920s)
To begin I must explain my headcanon for how the Ministry and the Clergy works. The Ministry was founded in opposition to the rise of the Catholic church in Italy. They opposed the strict and cruel ways the Christian church and wanted to offer an alternative and a sanctuary to those mistreated and maligned. Their numbers grew until they were noticed and forced to flee Italy.
They found a home in rural Sweden, taking advantage of the overwhelming rise of Protestantism and there they stayed, biding their time and increasing their ranks. Their congregation grew so large that they were starting to struggle to sustain themselves so the Clergy came up with a plan. The Projects were different businesses, outreach and recruitment efforts to build revenue and attract the rich and successful to their cause and it worked! They were truly self sustaining and starting to have influence in important places but the Clergy understood that they were playing the long game.
Which brings us nicely to New York in 1922. Terzo Emeritus, third son of the reigning Papa has been assigned to set up a speakeasy to make the most of the Prohibition movement. His goal is to make a load of money and convert as many sinners as he can find. He sets up his 'dance hall' which he calls his House of Sin. There are cocktails and dancers and escorts and cross dressers and all the outcasts and freaks that aren't welcome anywhere else. It gains a cult reputation as a wonderland where anything goes, seemingly built from nothing into the most inclusive yet exclusive club in New York.
Andrew Ryan begins frequenting the place, not because he has tastes for anything other than a pretty girl but because he respects their ethos. He has respect for anyone who disregards laws and social norms and makes their own rules. He is made to feel welcome as are any of the rich and powerful that frequent the club, not because Terzo necessarily likes them but because part of his work there is to recruit powerful people to the Church. He welcomes them personally, brings them the best men or women that they might desire, keeps the drinks and smokes flowing freely until he can bring the conversation around to politics, morals and values so he can see how receptive they might be to the Ministry's teachings.
With Ryan though he barely has to push, almost as if he had come to investigate Terzo's views and opinions for himself. He finds a like mind in Ryan, someone who sees the flaws in society and how they could be improved. He finds himself talking about Meliora openly much to his surprise, the gleaming metropolis of his imagination where people are unrestrained by the petty and the inconsequential, where the seven deadly sins are celebrated and encouraged.
He fears he slips up bringing his religion into his ramblings but Ryan is unaffected by the revelations. He asks directly if Terzo worships the Devil and when he says yes the response he receives is surprisingly respectful. Ryan doesn't believe in God so equally he doesn't believe in the Devil but if he had to pick between the two the one who would earn his regard is the one who chose His own path and didn't just blindly obey. They spend many a night discussing the possibilities of such a place well into the early hours neither of them sure that such a place would ever exist.
Time went on and the world changed. Prohibition ends and the club goes legitimate. Slowly but surely wider society begins to take notice of their live and let live policy and don't like it at all. What was once the place to be seen becomes the place an upstanding member of society would never be seen. Business dwindles as the depression takes hold and by the time the rumblings of the Second World War reach the US they close their doors for good. Terzo returns to the Ministry and to Europe, serving the Clergy in a much more traditional capacity, that is until in 1946 when he receives an invitation from an old friend.

It takes a hell of a lot to convince the Clergy to let him go, most of them writing off this supposed underwater metropolis as impossible. Eventually though the curiosity and ambition win out and they allow him to go but only if he takes a company of ghouls to keep him out of trouble and who have the abilities to get him out if the worst were to happen, most leaning towards the roof caving in under the pressure of the ocean.
Rapture is almost everything he imagined Meliora to be. The grandiose architecture, neon lights and atmosphere of excitement. The only difference was the underwater setting. It was fascinating, the low blue glow coming from all of the countless windows. Wherever he went he would find himself captivated by the swaying plants on the seabed, the schools of fish or the dark shadow of a whale passing by. The longer he stays the more he starts to forget, until he looks out the window and is reminded all over again of the fascinating place he lives.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
source & source
He slips back into his old life so easily, finding many familiar faces from the social circles of New York making up the elite of Rapture. He secures a place in Fort Frolic and goes about recruiting the most beautiful and hedonistic people he can find to work at his club. Anything goes there as is the case with a lot of things in Rapture and it becomes so popular that Ryan even sends his mistress to work with him when she isn't otherwise occupied with him. Everything is perfect for a time but if you have played the games then you know what is coming next.
For now I think I will leave it there. I have a lot of ideas about how he tackles some of the issues that grow within Rapture but if this becomes a fully fledged fic I will save those for that. I hope you have enjoyed my ramblings and I would love to hear others thoughts and ideas if you have any!! I will leave you with the below quotes which were where I started with this so give them a read, would you kindly?
The world since he was last seen has changed. Called Moloch by some, the great industrial machine has been grinding away, grinding everything and everyone down in the process. Spies are everywhere. Their eyes are behind the screens of your televisions and devices, their ears attentive to every frequency in the air. Everything is mediated, pre-packaged, and pressure sealed, your lives preordained. From the cradle to the grave, the world moves along as if there is free will, but this is the grandest illusion. There is no power beyond that which the all-seeing eye controls. The gods are all dead. Even art is pure commodity. But some still fight, quietly at first, but soon they will rise and make the glorious noise of the ancients, donning their masks, these nameless ghouls led by Papa Emeritus III. - Source

To build a city at the bottom of the sea! Insanity. But where else could we be free from the clutching hand of the Parasites? Where else could we build an economy that they would not try to control, a society that they would not try to destroy? It was not impossible to build Rapture at the bottom of the sea. It was impossible to build it anywhere else. Source

"We would sit down to studying exciting Futurist manifestos, sketched the blueprints of utopian metropoles, spiked with shiny skyscrapers stabbing at the heavens belly… Wantonly swollen zeppelins would to carry our gospel of indulgence to the farthest corners of the globe to summon and enslave. (…) Forged in nostalgia of steam and fire, this brave new world of ambition, vice, lust and greed - all so inherent to the enlightened modernity, was always with him through all these years. And it is now - when our church continues to grow stronger and wealthier under wise reign of Papa Emeritus III -  that these visions may finally be witnessed and embraced in the preaching's of  'Meliora’ - his most contemporary and humane Encyclical.” - Source

I chose the impossible. I chose... Rapture, a city where the artist would not fear the censor, where the scientist would not be bound by petty morality, Where the great would not be constrained by the small! And with the sweat of your brow, Rapture can become your city as well. Source

I read your post about freebird complimenting Sweetheart using "chocolate" and "cotton-candy" and in that post, you touched on how the creatures from Umbra (definitely didn't forget how to spell the word for them ssh) don't exactly have a background in American prejudice and racism, and how Bitterbat tries to educate them and himself to make sure they don't fuck up.
If you're comfortable with sharing, how would they react to facing some of those things in their humanoid disguises, or seeing the ones they care for go through that?
I have to wonder how baffling it would be to them, at least prejudice based on power and strength can be mitigated somewhat by getting stronger or making strong allies, but how do you lessen the societal burden of a trait you can't change?
No pressure on this ask though, ik it leads to heavier things and if you aren't in a good headspace that's or just don't want to that's okay! Thanks for reading regardless, I love BOTH your comics a lot and I've been smiling so much since discovering them my face hurts
Thank you!
And none of the Flavor Four tolerate their Beloveds facing racism for their skin colors and race. And since you can't take the monster out of a Monstrum, their first reflex is to start some shit.
None of the Flavor Four would hesitate punching a racist, since back home if there were problems, they solved them in battles.
But humans are built much weaker than a Monstrum and so the Beloveds have to remind them to reel it back a bit to avoid potentially murdering someone. While it'd feel nice to punch a bigot, the Flavor Four would hate to spend time in jail instead of with their Beloveds.
So they just make to put the fear of god in racists. Bitterbat's element may be fear but all the Flavor Four can traumatize a human quite easily.
People suddenly care a lot more for self preservation when the person they were just talking to suddenly has a mouth full of fangs and horrifying animalistic eyes that remind you just how fragile the human body is.
They can also use magic so they can make a lot of stuff look like an accident. While the Flavor Four don't like to lie to their Beloveds, they make exceptions in cases where they believe a human deserves their punishment.
When it comes to facing racism themselves, there is certainly some immediate confusion. Monstrums don't have that racial history like humans and many of the stereotypes that would be flung at them would just flop on the floor because the Flavor Four don't entirely understand. They get the general stuff with the Beloveds and them being black but the Flavor Four spend way more time viewing themselves as Monstrums and waaay less as their human roles.
They wouldn't really react immediately with violence like if their Beloveds were facing racism, since...well they ain't scared of humans. The Flavor Four know they could kill a human in the blink of an eye. It's like a gnat buzzing around in your face not knowing how easy it would be for it to get clapped.
The reason the Flavor Four are so much more willing to kill for their Beloveds compared to themselves is because of love and respect. If they see someone being disrespectful to their loves, that is a punishable offense, regardless of how petty it may seem.
All in all, it's safe to say that the Flavor Four wouldn't hesitate with a racist. There is no being the bigger person to them. If they feel irritated or annoyed by someone bothering their partners or, on those rare occasions, themselves, they will make them stop regardless of how unnecessary their method may seem.

Serious Tamlin meta question. Do you think it’s possible that Tamlin’s betrayal of Rhys pre-ACOTAR was sparked by jealousy towards his friend, in addition to being pressured by his father and brothers? Because I can’t help but wonder if there was some simmering resentment there that made Tamlin’s self-justification of murdering his friend easier to swallow, especially as Rhys had the one thing that Tamlin didn’t: a family that loved him and had his back.
Adding on to this, I love the parallels between Tamlin and Feyre regarding their families: both were the third, overlooked child that suffered neglect/abuse at the hands of their siblings and father; both had distant mothers that favoured their spousal relationship with their fathers over concern for their children; both grew up without the love they needed, and while they found comfort in their shared pain, they weren’t able to give it to each other in the end. I know there’s a lot of talk of Tamlin idealizing Feyre to the point of blindness, but Feyre was guilty of this too to an extent, and I think this more than anything is what doomed their relationship (and thank god Rhys and the Inner Circle came in to show our poor girl what a loving family could actually be!).
I thought the explanation Tamlin and Rhys both give is Tamlin simply lacks power? He wants to be Rhys's friend, but he's also in the middle of a war and he is beholden to his own High Lord. So when his father comes to him and demands information, can Tamlin say no? I don't think he could.
I don't think Tamlin divulges that information from a place of malice or even resentment/jealousy. I think he does because he's a solider and soldiers obey orders. That's not a justification, merely an explanation. It's clear he feels regret for what happened, but in this moment, both Rhys and Tamlin have made fatal errors. They're on opposing sides of a war- Rhys should have known better than to tell his enemies son ANYTHING he didn't want repeated, and Tamlin should have tried harder to prevent innocent civilians from being murdered based on knowledge he himself provided (he must have known what was about to happen).
I like your analysis of Tamlin and Feyre's relationship. I do think they were looking at each other through rose tinted glasses and had put the other on a pedestal, at least in the beginning. Both Feyre AND Tamlin are the others saviors to some degree. Tamlin takes the burden of providing for her family off of her and lets Feyre explore true safety for the first time in her life. I would argue Feyre doesn't really have a strong sense of self when she first meets him, and here is this man who wants to take care of her. After a lifetime of feeling neglected, of starvation, and the stress of "if I fail, everyone dies", that must have seemed like paradise at first.
And I think Tamlin sees Feyre as the potential savior of his home- the woman who will free them if he provides her with a little kindness and attention. I would argue that Feyre and Tamlin are never on an equal playing field because he conceals his intentions from the start, but I won't argue that he didn't come to love her deeply.
I just don't think they ever really understood each other. They met during the worst periods of their respective lives and they bonded over their trauma, but who you are when you're just surviving isn't who you are when you're thriving, if that makes sense? What Feyre needed as a starving, desperate human is not what she needed when she had the safety to really come into her own. And who Tamlin was when he needed to free his home wasn't who he was when he was back to full power.
And once they were out of the worst of it, you see the cracks forming.

I have more thoughts on bllk and Isagi soo It was cool in the start because Isagi was like one of the worst players and we could see how he evolves and that was interesting and weren't boring hearing his inner monologues I guess? And the others all seemed impressive from his perspective lmao But now he acts like a main boss of something and a prodigy who has lots of skills and actually acts a bit rude towards others? (here comes the personal taste that one can just not like his personality I guess) but he like turned to a prodigy whom he admired and win against in the first half and now those are the ones trying to beat him but Isagi is the main characters so kinda these evolve around him which is unfortunate for the ones who don't like his character Soo I kinda mean that we could try to bring back Isagi not being too good? and now he could actually lose (like he can I guess bc he already win a lot and evolved so it's not like it'd be over just for him to get less op and the others could catch up too, because the power scales and balanced really shifted from him needing to beat someone to others needing to beat him which is quite an interesting development of events and a lot has a more tragic past than him now give them a win pls (this is just some personal thoughts I came up with they might not be full correct so my apologise)
Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts!
I understand your point of view because in many respects I agree. I admit that it was interesting that he started to develop from an average player into one of the best. His internal monologues were also completely different, because not only did he surprise others, but he was also often surprised himself when he noticed complete things and analyzed them.
I like that you wrote that Isagi turned out to be a prodigy. Because that's the truth. He was a prodigy from the beginning, but before Blue Lock he never had the opportunity to discover it. It's not that I don't think he hasn't developed as a result of hard work and training, but his greatest strengths are actually related to his way of thinking and his special ability to analyze, something that not every character is gifted with and is unlikely to practice because it happens rather automatically.
As the story progressed, Isagi actually became overconfident. (Yeah, totally like a main boss!) And that's why he actually started to think that he was better than others (actually I did a meme about it ). And I must admit that it irritates me a bit. Surprisingly, this didn't irritate me with characters like Barou or Rin. Maybe it's because we get to know them as characters who feel better than others. And Isagi went from a guy with low self-esteem to a guy with a bit of a God complex. From extreme to extreme.
And in fact, he behaves rudely towards others. It seems even more visible because he was a really nice guy from the very beginning! But honestly, I think it's not just a matter of him feeling better than others (but I think that's largely the case). Isagi blended in with the Blue Lock's atmosphere. He was constantly exposed to people who treated others in the same way (including Isagi), so I'm not surprised that such behavior influenced him and he adopted it as well.
(And it must be really irritating when someone you don't like makes you grow. Typical bllk experience).
Honestly, I wish he would lose and humble himself a bit. I want absolute destruction. After all, the higher a person rises, the more painful the fall. And logically, sooner or later Isagi has to lose, because you can't always win. However, I'm not sure Isagi can return to that level as before (I'm not talking about the level from the very beginning, because he will never return to this times, but maybe more to the level from the 3rd or even 2nd selection). He's gone too far with all this. After his defeat, he would definitely go through a worse time, but would he actually become more humble? Would he have completely despaired of his abilities? Would he feel inferior to someone else? It's possible, but I think it's more likely that it will be just an episode rather than a longer streak of self-doubt. This will be seen from the outside more as "His rival was better" than "Isagi wasn't good enough".
But deep down, I really want the character I like more than Isagi to win. I admit that I often let my thoughts go in the direction of "this character has a traumatic past, he deserves to win as compensation". But in my head there is always the thought that Blue Lock was a manga unlike any other from the very beginning. Such issues really don't matter there. On the field, no one cares about the characters' traumatic pasts. All that matters is being the best and striving for a goal without any scruples or moral compass. And as interesting as it was (I would REALLY like to see it), even though the other characters theoretically deserved their victory more. A character doesn't have to have a tragic backstory (like Isagi) to win. They just has to be the best.
(I'm sorry if this wasn't the answer you were expecting! I didn't know how to respond to this and I thought for a long time, but in the end I let the discussion carry me away and referred to some of your thoughts and added my own, not necessarily related to your statement. I really don't know what and why I wrote all this 🙈).

I loved your idea!! Seriously, it was so funny to thing!!
I don't see the serie of Lucifer yet, so i just go by what you say 🙊
Tumblr media
Jack the Ripper
For being the older sibling from the olympic gods everyone (aside from your brothers) look up to you with fear, every where you go you always find people (gods or humans) kneeling before you with respect
Aside from your brother Zeus, no one really dares to treat you with something less than respect and admiration in fear of being disrespectful, it was kinda lonely
One day you were walking throw the Valhalla when you see a man sitting on a table alone, reading a book with a cup of tea, and when he notice you he grert you with a smile in his face
This was the first time someone treat you with such casuality, that picked your curiosity and decide to approach him, and Jack just answer offering you some tea and introducing himself
After that you can't bring yourself to stop thinking about him, so you decided to meet him again, and everytime you went to see him he always greet you with a beautiful smile
Jack had noticed inmediatly your loneliness and that picked his interest, but soon he started to crave your company too
He ended hearing rumors about you, about all the power you have and how you were feared by all gods, and he gets really surprised since the version of you he met isn't nothing like the rumors. He decide to say nothing and just enjoy the company of the real you, he even felt honor of being the only one with the privilege of knowing you real self
Soon you two become friends and start spending almost all your time together, Jack was really interested in you, but in you alone and not for being a god. Also, Jack tell you a lot of things about himself and when he was alive, he really apreciate your company
Soon your colors of loneliness change for ones of happines and love, everyone start noticing a change in you but no one dare to ask, instead there were just rumors about it
Jack have being always a gentelman ever since you know him, but for some reason you started to get more shy, feeling your heartbeat go faster, and even you start getting more nervous whenever you where going to see him, but also excited. All this situation confused you since that was the first time you ever feel something like this!
And the change in your behavior don't go unoticed by Jack, of course he notice but for a while he decided not to say anything, just becouse he loved seeing you get flustered and confused. He'd be lying if he say that he doesn't skip a hearbeat whenever he heard you saying his name, or how he feels butterflies in his stomach whenever he sees you smiling, but he decided to wait
You grow clingy to him, but he wasn't complaining, whenever you hug him he hug you back, when you take his hand he give you a squeeze, he even gives you a sweet kiss in your hand, actually it flattered him, it makes him incredibly happy
One day you decided to ask for help to one of the other gods of your trust about what you feel, or maybe it was Jack who actually say it to you, but either way at the end you two become a couple
When the gods decided to fight the humans in the Ragnarok you were mad, but hearing that Jack will fight makes you even more angry and worried
You confronted him about it, and he tell you that, indeed, he is going to fight, even knowing the posibility of disappear, he apologize to you but he isn't planing on back off
You spend a long time thinking on it, you can't bare the thought of losing Jack but you know theres nothing you can do to convince him
But there was something you can actually do, making your choise you go where Brunhilde and tell her that if the Ragnarok is going to happen she and all the humans have your support, and if she wants to send you as a fighter she can
Jack swears he couldn't love you more, and promise you to win so you two could pass the rest of eternity together
Tumblr media
Buddha
Buddha heard rumors about you from other gods, rumors about how powerful you are and he sees the gods who were talking covered in fear for the mere thought
You picked his curiosity rather quickly, so he decided to find out himself what kind of person you are, people tried to warned him that doing something like that was just certain death, but he just brush it off
One day he just go to you and introduce himself, he even give you his hand to shake. You can answer him or not, you can even ignore him but that doesn't really matter, Buddha is stubborn and will keep trying to meet the real you
Even if people fear you and knowing how powerful you are he can tell you aren't exactly malicious, and that just picked more his curiosity
Sometimes he follows you around and try to make you talk to him, other time he casually meet you in different places, maybe it could be annoying at first but soon you start answering him and even became friends, you can tell that he was really interested in meeting the real you
Without even noticing you two start spending almost all your time together, Buddha is really funny to be with and he always treat you as an equal, it was refreshing
When you start getting clingy he was surprised, but it isn't like he didn't like it, Buddha is pretty affectionate himself, and, since you don't seems to mind, he will always be touching you in some way, either hugging you, holding your hand or even putting his arm in your shoulder (and if you're shorter he put his arm in your head just to mess with you)
Buddha was your first real friend, the first person who treat you with kindness instead of fear and respect, and you couldn't be happier, you start feeling more excited but nervous whenever you were going to see him, at first you though it was nothing, but then you notice how your heartbeat started being faster when you were with him, or how you get more and more shy and blushy and that truly confused you, this was the first time something like this happen to you
And this don't go unoticed for him either, he start noticing how, even if you are really cuddly with him you start to get really blushy too, and how you seems more nervous than usual, so he decided to keep a closer look for a while, putting more attention in your behavior and thats how he find out about your crush on him
To him it was really cute see you get confused for your own feelings, so he decided to mess with you for a while for it. You really amused him, and he never lose a chance to tease you and make you blush, he always laugh at your reaction, but he give you hints that he feels the same about you after
Always saying things like how you look even more beautiful when you're blushing or how he can never get enough of you
At the end, it was either you asking Buddha why he always tease you so much or for your feelings, or him telling you right away that he loves you, but you ended up becoming a couple
When the gods have their meet to decide the fate of the humans you were against extinguishing them, you even defend them, after you talk most of the gods didn't dare to say nothing more about it, out of fear of angering you more, but actually were your brothers who were against your wish and motivate the other gods to vote
After that you were complaining about the whole thing with Buddha, but he doesn't seem to bother for it, he admitted his plan to you, but ask you keep as a secret. You were truly surprised for his plan, and makes you realice that you have another choise too
When Zeus came to you asking for your help, and even inviting you to fight you decline, letting out you anger saying that you hate their decision and you even were going to be by the humans' side, you were going to fight against the gods to help humanity if is need it, then you go to search for Brunhilde leaving all the gods trembling with fear in your way
When Buddha heard what happen he start laughing until his stomach hurt, even if you were embarased for what you did he find it super funny! when he calm down he tell you how proud he is of you, and how much he loves you, giving you butterfly kisses in all your face
