so i was driving to work the other day, taking the exact same route that i always take, and i passed a sign i see every single day. but for some reason, this particular day, i was hit so hard by a steddie thought that i instantly had to jot it down when i pulled into the parking lot of my job. i haven't stopped thinking about it actually, so i made it omegaverse and decided to send it in for slick sunday. this is VERY loosely based off something that happened in my own hometown a couple years ago. (also, for reference, the sign i saw was for a local business called munson construction, so the following thoughts make a lot of sense actually)

a!eddie and (possibly) b!wayne have a construction company. they don't a ton of business, but they make enough to pay the bills and put food on the table. they by no means live a life of luxury, but they're comfortable where they're at. plus, they enjoy what they do.

so, onto plot.

living in indiana, they don't get nearly as many tornadoes as some other states, but it does happen. one spring, hawkins gets hit hard. a lot of houses are completely leveled, even more are severely damaged. lives were lost. it absolutely devastates the entire community. so many families are homeless now. it doesn't take wayne and eddie long to decide that they're going to do whatever they can to help rebuild. they were fortunate enough to make it out on the other side generally unscathed. the worst they got was some damage from a tree falling on their roof, but it was a quick and easy fix for them. they know not everyone was so lucky. they want to do their part.

eddie doesn't expect it to change his entire life.

they start at the emergency refuge shelter. rows and rows of cots set up in the community center for those who either lost their homes completely, or have damages that make it inhabitable until repair. eddie is hardly one step in the door before he's drawn to a certain family. he elbows wayne and nods to the far side of the room. a baby is crying, being held and rocked by perhaps the prettiest omega eddie had ever seen. he needs to talk to him, even if it's only once.

as he and wayne approach, it becomes more and more obvious just how stressed the omega is. he rocks and bounces the child on his hip, desperately attempting to soothe. nothing seems to be working, though. the baby is still screaming, and people are staring. eddie's honestly feels really bad for the guy, who looks so overwhelmed and on the verge of tears. eddie can't just stand by and do nothing. he steps in, offering to help.

basically, from there, eddie learns that the omega (steve, duh) is a single parent who lost pretty much everything to the tornado. he and his daughter have been staying at the shelter, trying to figure out how he's going to get them back on their feet. obviously, eddie is in love instantly, and he is determined to take care of them in whatever way steve will let him. there's some back and forth probably, but eventually, steve also falls in love and they court and get married and blah blah blah happily ever after the end.

(a nice addition: post-marriage & mating, eddie builds steve a dream house by hand, where they grow their family and fill the home with love and support and all that good stuff)

When you both wake up in the middle of the city, with people standing, asking if there was a con around or something, you know that you both are in something big.

You needed to find a good hiding place, but you knew what was happening: you and the Destined One were now in your own world.

The buzzling city, the cars, the technology—everything made his poor brain scrumble. You cane from this?! This chaos?!

The smell for him is difficult to handle, the absence of trees, and the strange behavior of the people...

Hiding in a tree, the two of you admired the small portion of the city that the park hallowed you to observe. While you remembered what it feels like to breathe the same air where you were born, Yuán Fèn couldn't take his eyes off the palace in the distance.

"Are those... pagodas?"

"Oh no, those are skycrapers. People live and work there."

"Oh..."

Everything was out standing. And the mortal did it without the help of gods or others! They did it themselves! He gasped again, his tail swaving excited.

"We should go now! ...Maybe you can finally meet my family!"

That's your plan...until you find out what's really happened to you.

You were wondering if the car that had crashed into you was some sort of allucination or something like that, but when you reached your home, you could feel all the pain that you hadn't felt the day of the accident.

When you knocked at your door, you guessed that your mother could feel dizzy. After your disappearance of months, what you didn't expect was her tò Just faint on your porch, right in front of you and Yuán Fèn. You both were able to bring her into her room, and after that, you started to notice a pattern that scared you.

While Yuán Fèn tried to make her come back from the world of the living, you noticed the door of your room locked; many of your photos were missing from the usual spot. And there, in the living room, a photo of you at your prom, in an intricate frame. Written in silver ink, the lines "in loving memory.".

You really wanted to faint at that moment.

It feels so strange looking at your own grave. You guessed that they would you in this one particular spot. It was a family place there.

"I told them that I wanted to be cremated."

Yuán Fèn was more interested in trying to decipher your mental state. You were just there, watching at your own photo. He felt so strange... so that was what Mitraya meant when he said you were rebuking everything in your real world by choosing him. He looked again at that stone block, your name carved in there... then moved away.

"Okay, I think I'm in need of... What are you doing?!"

You spotted him taking a few flowers from one spot to another.

"Playing respect!"

"To Who?!"

Then, with the small bouquet in his hand, he put the flowers in the small pot near your photo. 

"..oh ..." That was the only word that you said after that.

Three things were clear to you:

1) Going back to Mount Huaguo was the priority;

2) You needed to find some money since you were basically broke;

3) Need to keep the monkey away from every electrical device.

The first one was based more on a sense of morality. After all, you made a choice, and that was the choice to stay in that world full of magic because you fell in love with the destined one and a simple cane back home wasn't enough to move you. 

Not to mention that you have nothing that came back anymore, so...

The second, hard but not that much. You have nowhere to go, so you were forced to stay in a cheap and very not so sanitary motel that you both found. 

Luck were your side because that place needed someone that could clean or fix staff and you two? We're the masters at fixing staff...sorta.

But the third one...oooh boy...

You were drinking coffee, how much did you miss it, trying to schedule the next day of work for you and Yuán Fèn. You could clearly hear him doing something in the small kitchenette, moving staff, putting them somewhere, opening things, cutting them...

Then you heard the roar of that old blender that you both found around.

" DARLING?" You used your very sweet tone, a sign that you were expecting the worst for him. "What are you doing?!"

"Nothing."

"That doesn't sound like a -"

And there, in front of you, he putted a very strangely colored liquid, viscous, and with some strange objects floating here and there.

"What Is It?"

"A bunch of staff!"

"I know that; it's clearly a bunch of different staff."

"You should try it, then talk!"

"I genuinely want it five meters away from me."

"Suit yourself!" And then, in your horror, he proceeded to drink the staff.

After days of adjusting and trying to get used back to the modern world, when you both got inside your shared room and found no one but Maitreya himself, you both got a huge shock. You don't know what was the most unrecognizable scene—the actual boy in the room or the fact that he was reading a comic book that talked about the Monkey King or the Yankees cap in his head.

And he just waved! Like nothing! 

He decided to give some explanation, but the most important was why you were sent there and how to. come back.

The first was more for the two of you. After your decision, you decided to leave your world behind, but you did know what that really meant? He wanted to know that and gave you a free way out, a small taste of your original world, and the thought that even this could sway you away from the destined one, and he received a slap on his head by you, and he admitted he deserved it. Another test of loyalty? They really believed you were so easy?!

As for coming back, it was easy, of course! Did he not do it himself right now? 

When you and Yuán Fèn looked at each other, Happy Tò was able to finally come back to Mount Huaguo, but you were stopped by the kid.

"You have to finish your schedule this week! And, oh, won't it be better if you gave a notice?"

How the heck did he know these things?!

"Aaand," he continued, holding an old toaster, "explain to me this little miracle."

Ever since I got Zayne's engagement rings my delulu has increased to godly levels

I got Zayne's engagement rings like four days ago and since then he's been showing up wearing his ring on his own, without me having to put it on him 🥺❤️

The first day I made him wear the ring as soon as I got it, but the second day, he showed up wearing the same outfit he had the previous day and the ring too, I laughed to myself thinking that he didn't change or something, maybe his workaholic self showing up (it was a bit odd considering that he always shows up with different outfits) but funnily enough, since I've been super busy with work, I wasn't able to play a lot and take pics with the rings, so it's like if he wanted the time we finally got the rings to last 🥹

The third day he dressed in his formal outfit and he gotta know that I LOVE this outfit since it's the one that he was wearing in Veiled Whispers event / Drunken Intimacy card which is a card so so important to me, literally this was the banner that was out when I started to play the game, so it felt like going back to the days this handsome sir was trying to woe me with his charm (he didn't have to do a lot tbh, ever since I saw him I just knew he was the one).

Sadly I didn't get this card since I was a new player so I couldn't farm enough dias to get it but, ofc I watched it on YouTube and since then I always ramble about how meaningful this card is for me, it's like this card consolidated me as a Zayne main bc even tho I already knew I liked him the most, I was trying to get to know the three better and give a chance to Xavier and Rafayel, but Zayne in this card just felt like home to me, because of his sweet calm affection and gentleness, respect and care, I could write an entire essay about this card but that's for another day.

(I also have to add that since I got him this outfit, I've seem him wearing it like idk 3-4 times, is not an outfit he picks up normally).

And the fourth day he shows up wearing his Snowy Serenity outfit with the ring and honestly, he surely KNOWS that whenever I see this outfit I can't help thinking of his hungry kisses but also how in this card he finally allows himself to be fully honest with his feelings and needs and at least for me that was a milestone ❤️

Istg that he's getting me used to this that if tomorrow he doesn't show up wearing his ring I will legit cry 💔

I know I'm just making up stories in my head but let's be honest, the development of the relationship with Zayne has been so organic that sometimes it feels somehow... alive. And we as the player get emotionally invested somehow. I've seen him grow, show his insecurities and weaknesses little by little with no shame, embracing his feelings instead of running away from them like a true man ❤️

Now I just need them to bring Illusio back so I can make him wear his ring in this scene:

Being tied up by Logan was always good. It usually meant that Logan wanted to have his way with him, letting out all of that feral energy on a helpless (well... as much as he could be. Wade wasn't good at being totally helpless) victim.

Those times were always good. So were the times Logan tied him up and stabbed the shit out of him. He always deserved that, and the tender sex afterwards would be to die for, if that was a thing either of them were really capable of doing.

But for the life of him, he couldn't figure out what the fuck the point of tying him up, gagging him, and leaving him on the bed. For fuck's sake, he wasn't even naked!

Logan had tied his arms behind his back, while his legs were tied so that they were spread open, thighs and calves bound together. His protests were almost entirely muffled by the fabric gag in his mouth.

All in all, not the most fun situation. And girls do just want to have fun. And by girls, of course he meant brats. (He always did prefer Bratz to Barbies. Maybe they should make a new movie about them instead.)

So, as quietly as he could, he squirmed closer to the bedside table, where of course he hadn't put away the cute little vibrator he'd been using last night. So convenient. With a well-aimed nudge, the vibrator feel from the table directly into his lap. Dislocating a hip in order to press the button with his knee was no big deal; the pain would just make the reward all the sweeter.

And then- oh, fuck yes. Ordinarily, a small vibe through his pants wouldn't feel particularly incredible. But, as a reward after being unfairly bound and left to simmer? It was the best thing his dick had ever felt.

But all good things must come to an end, and so it didn't come as a surprise that Logan noticed almost immediately. It was easy to forget how good his senses were at times, but the buzzing of the tiny vibrator must have been like an alarm bell for him.

In just a few strides, Logan was in front of him, tossing the still-buzzing toy carelessly to the side (where it promptly ceased moving, most likely permanently), then placing a hand on his chest to pin him down.

"You think a brat can get a reward without begging?" Logan hissed, claws digging just hard enough into Wade's throat to draw blood. Wade made a muffled noise through the gag, and Logan dug his claws in deeper. "You're such a fucking brat, Wade, you can't even go twenty minutes without trying to get off. That's how long you were gonna be tied up. Twenty minutes. Y’know how long you lasted?"

Wade shook his head, so Logan leaned in close, whispering harshly into his ear. "Five fucking minutes, Wade. So, how about, for every minute you couldn't be fucking patient, you get edged? How's that sound, you insufferable goddamn brat?"

And fuck. That sounded awful. It sounded so horrible, and fuck yes, he wanted it so so bad. (Punishments, as Logan was still learning, never really worked as punishments for Wade.)

Buck was lying in bed taking a nap. After days of intensive work under Gerrard's command, he was exhausted and taking the nap of his life, or at least he was until he felt something small and pointed being slowly dragged over his left shoulder.

As he slowly woke up he began to hear whispers, it was Sal and Tommy.

''Seriously?'' Asked Sal ''Out of all the stuff you could be doing you're doing that?''

''Shut the fuck up Salvatore and don't distract me'' Whispered Tommy back ''You can do whatever you want with him when it's your turn.''

''Yeah....sure...'' Said Sal with sarcasm.

''What the-?'' When he fully woke up he saw Tommy with what it looked like a pen and Sal holding his arm on place, once everything set in he jumped like a gazelle making both Sal and Tommy fall on the bed.

''What are you doing?!'' He asked acusatory.

''N-nothiiiing....'' Said Sal and Tommy at unison with the most nervous smile they ever made.

''Wha...?'' Buck tried to see what he had on the shoulder but he couldn't see it clearly so he got up and went to the bathroom to look at himself on the mirror.

''Ev-Evan Evan Evan nonononono!'' Tommy called him as he got up from the bed ''Evan no I-Im not- its not finished!'' He chuckled and both him and Sal followed Buck to the bathroom.

Buck walked into the bathroom thinking those two little shits had drawn a dick or something rude on him, but he was But he was pleasantly surprised when he saw a rather detailed flower on his left shoulder.

As he looked at the drawing, Sal and Tommy emerged from behind him like ''🥺'' and Buck looked at them.

''Wh....whyy?'' He asked slightly sleepy and confused

''We were bored....'' Said Tommy with a hint of smile on his face.

''And your arm looked rather empty'' Said Sal holding back a chuckle and playing with the pen on his hands.

''Do you like it?'' Asked Tommy with puppy eyes.

''God how I love this two'' That's all Buck could think. He looked at the reflection of the tattoo and then at Tommy.

''I-I-I....its...its not bad'' Muttered Buck as he got out of the bathroom trying to hide his pink-ish cheeks.

Sal and Tommy were on the couch watching TV when Buck walked in and stood in front of them.

''Yeah....yeah um....I have a surprise...'' He said smiling. Sal turned off the TV and both man looked at him with interest.

Buck took off his jacket showing them a tattoo version of the flower that Tommy drew.

Both men looked at him in awe.

''Oh hell yeah!'' Said Sal surprised. ''No way!'' Said Tommy with a big smile.

Buck just laughed. ''Y' like it? I thought that you guys were right, my arm did look empty...''

''Oh absolutly'' Nodded Sal ''It looks way better now...'' Tommy said.

Buck smiled and got closer to the couch, then he grabbed both Sal's and Tommy's chin and looked at them with fondness.

A different angle on “Bruce Wayne is Batman’s sugar daddy”

Bruce thinks certain members of the Justice League dislike him because he can be a bit of a difficult hardass, but really it’s because they know Bruce’s propensity for manipulation and are convinced he has emotionally manipulated poor traumatized Bruce Wayne into bankrolling his insane projects, + his vigilantism in general.

Bruce’s drunken benders and hedonistic pleasure-seeking contrasted against his earnest efforts to improve Gotham paint a picture of a lonely, troubled, yet ultimately very sweet man who still wants to have hope despite everything. Batman is exactly the kind of figure a boy who lost his parents to crime at such a young age would idolize, and he’s now had his life personally saved by Batman a few times too. It would have been easy for someone like Batman to take advantage of him. Bruce may have even been the one to approach Batman first, offering the only two things he knew people wanted from him- his money and his body.

At one point the Justice League meets Bruce Wayne while Batman is absent, and Hal takes Bruce aside to tell him Batman doesn’t have his best interests at heart and he deserves better. Bruce feigns ignorance and changes the subject with a quip, but Hal can recognize the minor jab for what it is. Bruce had gotten defensive. He sighs. Maybe he can try giving Batman a shovel talk.
