And you want Penelope to settle for a life of loneliness? When Colin is so besotted with her that he dreams of her and breaks every societal expectation in the book as a notorious People Pleaser to run after her and cannot even wait for the morning after being intimate with her to introduce her as his wife to his family in the middle of the night? the thing about simon is that he has character arc on adventure time it's just not at the front of anything. he's a soft-hearted man who's relentessly dedicated and caring, but too afraid to confront any troubling situations or feelings, which ends up with him fleeing every time. he apologizes compulsively but never stops to address the issue. then he gets put through the blender and comes out of the other side having been so thoroughly loved he's changed fundamentally. no action too shameful to face and no mistake too large to address in the presence of it. this time, simon stays. isn't that neat I don't know. man I hate fionna and cake.

I have! In the past I've cuddled up to 4 plushies at one time to fall asleep. They're all plushies that were gifts from my datemate. When he wasn't with me at night, I'd hold those plushies while I slep so it'd feel like I was hugging him, since I missed him so much! (one of the plush was Chubbychu who's very big, so it felt like someone's body wrapped in my arms. It was comforting)
