Read the first part here
Sin really liked having sex with his Gramps and his Nana. When he wasn't at his father's castle spending time with his family, Sin would stay at his grandad's shop, fucking the day away with his grandparents. They taught him a lot of cool things like how to stick his dick inside Nana without hurting her, how to suck off his Gramps, and even how to masturbate! It always felt good, and Sin was dying to share his secret with someone who he knows would keep it. He obviously couldn't tell mom and dad, so that left only two other people in his life who he could count on to stay quiet about his sex life.
"Do you guys know what sex is?"
Sin was currently sitting in one of the castle’s many living rooms with Valentine sisters, Elphelt and Ramlethal. He and his aunts were enjoying a late lunch of coffee, tea, snack cakes, and sandwiches, and the tranquility of that peaceful lunch was disturbed by Sin's very blunt and very sudden question. Elphelt had choked on her tea while Ramlethal stared blankly at Sin with wide eyes, both sisters unsure of how to broach the boy's question.
"Jeez, Sin, hold back a little, why dontcha...!" Elphelt pounded on her chest.
"I don't believe that is an appropriate question to ask during a meal." Ramlethal gently admonished.
"Hey, I was just asking!" Sin retorted. "I already know what it is, I was just wondering if you two knew!"
"O-Of course I know what sex is!" Elphelt yelled, her cheeks burning.
"I know of it, yes." Ramlethal replied.
"Well..." Sin dragged on a bit. "You guys ever have sex before?"
Suddenly, silence. Ramlethal remained phlegmatic as always while Elphelt's face grew red from flushing.
"S-Sin, that's a very personal question that no young man should ask a lady!" Elphelt cried out. "Ever!"
"I have not, but I heard humans indulge in sex for pleasure." Ramlethal regarded Sin for a moment before asking, "Have you had sex, Sin?"
Sin nodded deeply and smiled happily.
"I sure have!" He beamed. "A lot actually!"
Elphelt and Ramlethal said nothing and could only look at Sin in shock. Elphelt then dashed to the couch Sin sat on and shoved her face directly into his while Ramlethal floated to his side, intrigued but still very much surprised.
"Oh my God, seriously? Like for real!? What was her name!? Where did you guys meet!?" Elphelt's shock quickly turned into eagerness, her eyes bright and hands folded as she told Sin with bated breath, "Sex is very different from making love, Sin!"
Sin grabbed Elphelt's shoulders and gently sat her on the couch to settle her down. He laughed nervously at her sudden excitement while Ramlethal could only listen in, curious as well as to who it was Sin could have lain with.
"I mean, yeah, we do love each other, but not in the way you're thinkin', El." Sin explained. "Actually, I really need you guys to keep quiet about this. I don't want mom or dad to catch word of it, so when I tell you, zip it!”
“Scout’s honor!” Elphelt nodded feverishly.
“Of course.” Ramlethal replied.
Sin eyed his aunts cautiously before finally spilling the beans.
“Alright,” He began. “I had sex with two people actually. Two people you guys are very familiar with!”
“Oh! Dish, dish, dish!”
“Whoever could it be?”
The sisters listened intently to their nephew.
“Gramps and Nana have been having sex with me!” Sin sniggered. “It all happened last month when I spent the night over at their shop, and God, it feels so damn good! Did you know that you can have sex in the butt, too!? That blew my mind when the old man let me stick my dick in his ass! And then Nana! Man, her vagina is so hot and wet, I think I love fucking her the most!”
Elphelt and Ramlethal’s faces grew pale as they continued listening to Sin’s words. The sisters shared a horrified look that Sin failed to notice until he felt Ramlethal place a hand over his rambling mouth to silence him. The boy Gear looked confused and blinked up at his aunts innocently.
“S-S-Sin...” Elphelt stuttered out.
“Did you say that you had sex with...Mother and Father?” Ramlethal finished.
“Mhm!” Sin nodded once.
“Sin...!” Elphelt grimaced. “That’s so wrong! Why would Mommy and Daddy do such a thing!? With you!? That is NOT what grandparents should be doing with their grandson!”
“I agree.” Ramlethal sighed. “Incest is considered a taboo act in human society... I would imagine Mother and Father would know better than to commit it with someone who could still be considered a child...”
Sin shook Ramlehtal’s hand off of his face.
“I am not a kid!” Sin argued. “I mean, yea, Nana told me sex with family was bad and all, but it feels really good and it’s not hurting anybody...” He pouted, ironically, not unlike that of a child. “That’s why you guys can't tell anyone, especially my mom and dad!”
“Keeping this a secret does not seem like a good idea...”
"I'm with Ram on this one, Sin..."
"Woah, wait a sec here, aren't you the same girl who gets all goo goo eyed over "forbidden love" and shit like that? It's basically just what I have going on with Gramps and Nana."
"Yeah, well that's different! Gear and human love isn't like incest!"
"Sure it is!" Sin countered. "I can prove to both of you that "forbidden love" with family feels just as good as normal love."
"And how, pray tell, would you be able to accomplish that?" Ramlethal crossed her arms and cocked her head.
Sin grinned from ear to ear, and said, with much excitement, "You guys can have sex with me!"
Sin waited for Elphelt and Ramlethal’s response, but was met with Ramlethal turning her back to Sin and Elphelt blushing so hard that blood trickled down her nose.
Ramlethal was the first to speak.
"No."
Sin scoffed. "Aw, why not, Ram!?"
"I refuse to engage in something so...perverted."
"But it feels so good!" Sin whined. "Nana taught me a bunch about how to make a girl orgasm! It'll be fun, trust me!"
"If I wanted to have sex, I would rather it be with a non-relative."
"Like Leo?"
Ramlethal jumped in place when Sin mentioned the Second King's name and breathed deeply. It didn't take a genius to know Ramlethal had a crush on the guy, and Sin, despite what some may think, could be quite observant.
"That..." Ramlethal cleared her throat. "That is neither here nor there..."
"People have sex cuz they love each other right? You love Leo, so why not get some practice in with me so you can be with him?"
Ramlethal hovered a little ways away from Sin, still very much tense. Elphelt meanwhile was in a daze, her nose bleeding profusely and staining her dress. Sin grabbed a handkerchief for her once he saw the mess she was making.
"How about you, El? You game?"
Elphelt was just as quiet as Ramlethal. She hid her eyes beneath her bangs as she grabbed for the cloth Sin got for her before awkwardly dabbing at her nose. She sniffed and sighed dramatically soon after.
"Sin..." She began.
"Yeah?"
"Look..." Elphelt glared at her nephew and poked his chest. "I'm all for different forms of love, but this is really crossing it!" She yelled.
"But you haven't even tried it!" Sin bit back. "Not to toot my own horn, but I'm pretty decent at it now! I'll make you feel super good, Elphelt, I promise!"
"Sin, you..!" Elphelt held the handkerchief tightly to her nose. "God, this is so screwed up! I mean, it's been so long since I've even..." Elphelt quickly caught herself and called for Ramlethal. "Damn it, you little pervert! Ram, I need your help!"
Ramlethal turned to face her sister, her expression inquisitive.
"It wouldn't hurt to try..." She muttered.
Elphelt gawked at her twin oafishly.
"W-WHAT!?"
"Hell yeah!"
"You make a tempting offer..." Ramlethal floated back to Sin's side. "I will have sex with you, but you must end the affair you're having with Mother and Father if I do not like it."
"And...?" Sin trailed off. "What if you do like it?"
"I would be a hypocrite then." Ramlethal simply said.
"Hey, works for me!" Sin hopped up from the couch and hugged Ramlethal tight. "Let's go to my room then! We'll do anything you want, promise!"
"If you insist..."
"Ram, are you serious!?" Elphelt watched Sin hustle Ramlethal out of the living room, much to the younger Valentine's chagrin. Elphelt resisted the urge to follow after her nephew and sister, but found her resolve breaking. Elphelt always pushed Ramlethal to do what she could to attract Leo, but this wasn't what she had in mind!
Without even thinking, Elphelt leapt off the couch and ran after Sin and Ramlethal.
"Wait for crying out loud!" She screamed.
After more bickering and arguing between the sisters and Sin, all three youths eventually reached Sin's bedroom. Elphelt, having decided that she wasn't going to participate, pulled up a chair to sit across from Sin's bed to watch her sister and her nephew instead, the excuse being to make sure Sin didn't hurt Ramlethal, but she was honestly just curious if incestuous love was worth participating in. Would it really feel just as good as normal love? And if so, how would the dynamic between herself, Sin, and Ramlethal change if they actually went through with this? Elphelt, in an effort to not hurt her brain, tried not thinking about it, and fidgeted with the hem of her dress as she watched Sin and Ramlethal strip off their clothes. Ramlethal had thrown off her own dress while Sin practically jumped out of his dress shirt and slacks, revealing to both sisters corded muscles and a bulky frame that had Elphelt blushing again. Those Gear cells have been doing the boy's body some good it seems...
Once Sin and Ramlethal were naked, they sat down on the bed and got comfortable. Ramlethal sat cross-legged, stiff as stone, while Sin looked as cool as a cucumber.
"C’mon, I won't bite." He laughed and brought an arm around her shoulder. "I promised that I'll let you do anything you wanted, didn't I?"
"You did." Ramlethal replied. "I am just not sure how to start."
"Oh it's okay." He jostled her a little. "It comes naturally. Weird, but it felt like I kinda knew where to touch when I first started."
"I...suppose." Ramlethal looked over Sin's body and saw the semi-hard cock between his legs. "I don't recall male genitalia being that big. Will it...fit?"
"This? Yeah, it should. Nana's really small, but she can fit me pretty fine. You should see Gramps' dick though; that thing is a monster!"
"Please, Sin, spare the details..." Elphelt blurted out.
"It would be best if we kept Mother and Father out of the conversation for now..." Ramlethal grimaced. "However, I am still unsure how to go about this. I guess a simple approach would be a kiss?"
"A kiss?" Sin perked up. "Sure, I love giving kisses!"
"Okay." Ramlethal crawled into the space between Sin's legs and sat on her knees. "Let's start." She tilted her head and puckered her lips a little, waiting for Sin to take the lead. Sin seemed happy to do just that and cupped her cheek in his hand to hold her head steady as he stroked her brown skin with his thumb. His eye held nothing but love and adoration as he leaned down and pressed his lips against Ramlethal's soft ones.
It was a simple peck, chaste and decidedly free of lust, and Sin did it again and again until Ramlethal eventually got the idea and returned his gentle kisses with ones of her own. Sin laughed against the other girl's lips at her forwardness and kissed her a little harder, letting his tongue poke at the space between her lips and teeth. Ramlethal parted her lips on instinct and allowed Sin's tongue to enter her mouth slowly. Wet, hot, and slippery, Sin's tongue slid teasingly against her own as his large hands roamed over the generous curves of Ramlethal's body eagerly. They ghosted over her flaring hips and taut stomach before stopping at her breasts, the boy's hands quick to squeeze and caress them tenderly under his fingers. The younger Valentine moaned into Sin's mouth and moved closer to him before parting away from his lips to take in some much needed air.
Elphelt felt a twitch between her legs, but said nothing. She could only grimace and shift in place as she watched her sister talk to Sin again.
"Mm..." Ramlethal hummed as she brushed some hair away from her face. "That was..."
"Good, right?" Sin smiled. "How do you feel now?"
"I feel..." Ramlethal rubbed her thighs together. "Lubricated."
"Yeah, that means you're wet!" Sin exclaimed. "You feel good enough for me to put my dick inside you!"
"Right..." Ramlethal rubbed her legs again and huffed. "I'm sexually aroused, yes, but I know sex encompasses more than just intercourse. I wouldn't mind doing more if it means building...experience."
"I was gonna do more before I stuck it in you anyway." Sin explained as he ran his knuckles along Ramlethal's heated skin. "I'd like to use my tongue on you if you'd let me. Would you like that?"
Ramlethal considered it for a minute before agreeing.
"It would probably be best to lubricate me more considering your size and all."
"Great!" Sin beamed and placed his hands on Ramlethal's waist. "Um... Just tell me if you need a breather, okay?"
"Noted." Was all she said.
Ramlethal let the very eager Sin guide her down on the bed. Once her back met the plush sheets of Sin's comforter, the excited boy quickly climbed over Ramlethal's body and left a teasing trail of kisses down her neck. Ramlethal sucked in a breath and held Sin's head gently against her body as she let him go further and further down, until his mouth settled on the curve of her right breast. Ramlethal stiffened then and fisted Sin's hair when she saw the boy look up at her hopefully as he nuzzled her dark brown skin with the tip of his nose. Ramlethal motioned for him to continue and could hardly hold back the groan that ripped from her throat when Sin sucked her nipple into his awaiting mouth. He held her teat firmly between his tongue and teeth to suckle on it good and hard while he let his hands explore opposite ends of Ramlethal's body. One hand came to her other breast to massage it tenderly while the other ventured to the place between her legs where she was most needy. His fingers teased the unbreached seam of her virgin sex briefly before Sin finally pushed a curious index finger into Ramlethal, making her squirm. Ramlethal moaned and called for Sin's name, a breathy whisper that Sin hummed happily at. He pushed his finger as deep as it could go into Ramlethal's cunt then before pumping it in and out of her slowly, careful not to hurt or startle her. He was doing a good enough job it seemed because Ramlethal at this point couldn't stop calling his name.
"S-Sin..." Ramlethal bit her lip and rocked her hips against Sin's hands. "T-That also feels... Oh!"
Sin added another finger in response to her cries and smiled longingly against her breast.
"Yeah? Feels good, right?" Sin raised his head to look at Ramlethal's face. "I hope it does. You sound so cute, Ram."
Ramlethal frowned in mild embarrassment. "D-Don't say something so... Ah..."
Sin pinched and pulled on her left nipple as he filled her wet heat with his fingers. His mouth then went back to teasing her skin, lips going lower and lower with each pump of his hand. Ramlethal was silent save for the soft mewls that escaped her, which Sin loved listening to.
"It's okay, Rammy. Enjoy yourself." He said gently. "I wanna hear you, wanna hear how happy I'm making you feel... Your pussy is so wet and warm, I can't wait to lick it."
Ramlethal draped her arm over her face to calm herself down. "Just... Be gentle..."
Sin and Ramlethal, caught in the heat of their passion, hardly noticed Elphelt anymore who was now fidgeting in place in her chair. Legs crossed and teeth gnawing into her bottom lip, the elder Valentine was soaking wet and couldn't tear her eyes away from the sight before her. Elphelt was no stranger to sex as she had plenty of it with her fiancé before "waking up,” so seeing it again after so long made her legs tremble. She was a bad, bad girl for having sex before marriage, but she couldn't help herself! Her womanhood just aches to come out when she's doing something so beautifully intimate. Honestly, she should be happy for Ramlethal that she's exploring her own womanhood so freely in the pursuit of love, but seeing Sin work her body so expertly was...attractive to say the least.
Wait, was she really enjoying this?
Ramlethal's loud moans ripped Elphelt from her thoughts and made her pay attention to her sister. Sin was now between Ramlethal's thighs, tongue teasing her sex and thumb rubbing her clit in small circles. Ramlethal bucked her hips and weaved her fingers in Sin's hair out of reflex as she let the boy play with her cunt. His licks were small, not forceful, or too deep as if he was trying to get Ramlethal used to the feeling, and Ramlethal was absolutely loving it. She rocked gently into Sin's mouth in an attempt to actually get him to go further, which the boy did so without question. He too let out a hoarse grunt of pleasure as he plunged his tongue deep into Ramlethal's heat, his eye briefly rolling into his head before abruptly closing as he savored the taste of Ramlethal's pussy. It was, for lack of a better word, the most beautiful, wantonly debauched thing Elphelt has ever seen in her life. Her nephew was eating out his aunt, making her cry and scream as he used what he learned from his grandparents to properly pleasure her.
Her parents taught her nephew how to eat pussy.
The thought just about an hour ago would’ve made her sick to her stomach, but now it made Elphelt squirm like a horny school girl.
Elphelt sucked in some much needed air as she unfastened the first button on her dress.
Sin and Ramlethal were too preoccupied with each other to notice Elphelt stripping out of her clothes. Sin continued to pleasure Ramlethal with his mouth as the girl writhed and quivered beneath him, her hands buried in his hair to prevent his head from leaving her crotch. Sin didn't mind or seemed to even care and tongue-fucked his aunt like his life depended on it. Elphelt moaned very quietly to herself at Sin's eagerness and slipped off her ruined underwear as she sauntered over to Sin’s bed, completely naked and flushed from head to toe. Once she was close, she laid right next to Sin which alerted the young Gear.
"E-El...?" Sin briefly stopped licking Ramlethal to raise his head and look at Elphelt who took that chance to lean in and claim Sin's slick-laced lips with her own. She pushed her tongue into his mouth and tasted her sister on him. It was a sweet, piquant flavor, and Elphelt swirled her tongue around Sin's mouth to taste more of Ramlethal's essence and to get Sin's own tongue to play. The boy moaned both in shock and arousal, but soon returned Elphelt's heated kiss without hesitation. He played with Ramlethal's neglected cunt with his thumb during it all, making sure to keep his attention set on both sisters before Elphelt finally pulled away, a trail of spit and Ramlethal's arousal chasing her lip as she did so.
"El..." Ramlethal blinked in surprise. "You decided to join?"
Sin smirked. "Can't say I'm not liking it."
"Ugh, I'm sorry! It's just..." Elphelt sighed dramatically and snapped her eyes shut. "You two just looked so hot, and I kind of couldn't look away even if I wanted to..." She explained with shame. "This feels so wrong, but God, watching you guys just made me so...so..."
"Horny?" Sin blurted out.
"Yes, that!" Elphelt yelled. "I'm such a freak now, no better than Mommy and Daddy..."
"A family of freaks is better than no family at all!" Sin cheered. "But don't beat yourself up over liking something like this El. Like I said, we ain't hurting anyone." Sin laughed as he went back to his place between Ramlethal's legs and nuzzled her sex with his nose. "Now c'mon, you wanna help me make Rammy come? Her pussy is so wet, I don't think she can last long. Can ya, Ram?"
Ramlethal shook her head.
"I'm...overwhelmed. But in a good way."
"B-But I've never..." Elphelt looked at her sister and frowned. "Would you be okay with me...?"
"If you are uncomfortable, no." Ramlethal reassured her. "But if you aren’t, I don't mind. I trust you and Sin more than anyone else to do this with."
"Ram..." Elphelt thought it over. She's never been with another woman before let alone her own sister, so this would definitely be a new experience for her. She figured so long as Ramlethal didn't mind it wouldn't hurt to experiment.
"Okay..." Elphelt conceded. "Just tell me if you feel weird or anything..."
Ramlethal swallowed a lump in her throat and spread her legs a little wider for Elphelt, prompting the older Valentine to adjust herself so that she was leaning over Ramlethal's body, ass facing her sister and head facing Sin. Elphelt then watched Sin go back to fucking Ramlethal with his tongue, leaving her clit exposed for Elphelt to tease. Letting instinct guide her, Elphelt lowered her head to join Sin's, tongue peeking out between pouty lips to poke tentatively at Ramlethal's clit. Ramlethal shuddered and moved her hips towards Sin and Elphelt so they could do more. Elphelt got the message and ran her tongue along her sister's skin again, using Ramlethal's moans and whimpers as encouragement to go further.
"You two..." Ramlethal gasped. "I feel something..."
Elphelt actually shivered at the urgency in Ramlethal's voice and lapped at her clit harder, savoring her taste while Sin pushed three thick fingers inside of Ramlethal that joined his tongue in pleasuring her. Elphelt and Sin worked in tangent with one another to bring Ramlethal to her first orgasm, pushing her further and further to the edge until Ramlethal finally came with a harsh cant of her hips. Her grip on the sheets ripped holes through the fabric while her toes curled and uncurled from pleasure she never knew existed. Sin and Elphelt helped Ramlethal through her high by sucking on her clit and laving at the juices that gushed heavily from her cunt, stopping only once to kiss each other again and share in the sweet essence that was Ramlethal's pussy.
"Fuck, Rammy, you taste just like Nana..." Sin practically purred against Elphelt's lips. "So good, so fuckin’ good..."
"Gosh, Ram..." Elphelt panted out as she bit Sin's lip, making him shudder. "You came so hard for us..."
"El..." Ramlethal placed a hand over her chest, trying to calm her racing heart. She caught sight of Elphelt's own glistening sex soon after and cupped it experimentally with her free hand. Elphelt jolted then and hummed against Sin's mouth.
"You are lubricated as well..." Ramlethal poked at Elphelt's clit and watched her reactions. "Perhaps I should return the favor..."
"You guys are driving me crazy...” Sin kissed Ramlethal's thigh and then Elphelt's cheek before crawling over Ramlethal to lay next to her on his side, hands caressing the darker girl's hips to keep her close to him as he motioned for Elphelt to do the same. Elphelt obeyed wordlessly and came to Ramlethal's opposite side, her curvy body pressed flush against Ramlethal's.
“Let's do it together, all three of us." Sin proposed.
"Is that possible?" Ramlethal asked. "There's only one of you and two of us."
"I don't mind waiting." Elphelt said. "You wanted to know what sex was like, so it's better you go first, Ram."
"Are you sure? I'd hate to disappoint seeing as you're more knowledgeable than I am..."
"Man, I don't care about that, Rammy." Sin kissed Ramlethal's neck. "I just wanna make you feel good. We both do. Besides, you wanna still prepare for Leo, right?"
"I suppose so..." Ramlethal trailed off. "In spite of my feelings however, it feels good when I do it with you and El as well. I guess I am a hypocrite after all."
"It's okay, sis..." Elphelt gave her a smile. It was reassuring and Ramlethal felt comforted by it. "We're both hypocrites! I can only imagine how we can look Mommy and Daddy in the face after this..."
"Or even Dizzy and Ky..."
"Well, we can shut up when it comes to my Mom and Dad, but we can wait to tell the Old Man and Nana." Sin interjected and proceeded to hump his cock against Ramlethal's rear, making her blush. "Let’s talk about that later though. Do you wanna have sex now, Ram?" His words were eager, but still very gentle and attentive. Ramlethal moved against Sin then and felt him angle himself along her sex when she did so, cockhead already splitting her drenched lips apart. This was it, Ramlethal thought; no turning back. Sin was going to penetrate and have her, like she dreamed Leo would be doing to her one day. And yet, despite her feelings for Leo, she felt just as relieved that Sin would be the one doing this with her. Pure-hearted, pretty Sin, handsome in face and body, innocent in action and manners. Ramlethal should be happy that she was giving herself to her best friend and most trusted confidant after her older sister.
Her dumb, blonde nephew.
Ramlethal reached an arm behind her to tangle her hand in Sin’s messy locks again as she lifted and draped her left leg over his hard thigh to make the fit easier for Sin. The position exposed themselves to Elphelt who seemed enamored by the sight and shuffled closer to Ramlethal to see better. Sin nuzzled Ramlethal’s neck deeply in response and he brought both hands to her breasts to play with them again before pushing ever so gently into Ramlethal's sex. Ramlethal closed her eyes shut then and buried her face into the crook of Elphelt's neck as he entered her, bearing with the pain as Sin and Elphelt comforted her as best as they could.
"I know, I know..." Elphelt cuddled Ramlethal's front and kissed her neck and chest before gently admonishing Sin. "Be careful, okay, Sin? You're not exactly small, you know."
"S-Sorry, Rammy..." Sin gasped and stole a kiss of his own from his younger aunt's lips. Breathless, the boy Gear was enjoying the tightness that engulfed his cock, but tried his best not to move too deep or too fast. "We can slow down if you wanna..."
"N-No, I'll be fine..." Ramlethal grunted. "Keep going."
Sin hesitated, but pushed on. It still hurt for Ramlethal, a stinging pain that slowly went away the deeper Sin entered her, but the pain eventually disappeared once Sin was fully inside of her. Buried at the hilt and more than ready to have her, Ramlethal could hear Sin's heavy pants and soft whimpers from behind her while Elphelt merely stared on, in awe at their union and no doubt aroused and aching to be taken next. Sin's hands kneaded Ramlethal's breasts from behind as he rutted into her, a gentle rock of his hips that kept him from actually hurting her.
"Oh fuck, Ram... You're so fucking tight and wet, holy shit." Sin moaned longingly into her ear. "Please let me fuck you, Rammy. I dunno if I can hold back much longer..."
"Take me, Sin." Ramlethal grunted and tugged at the young Gear's hair.
Sin needed no more incentive and pushed into Ramlethal before pulling back and doing it again. The thrust jostled her, made her breasts bounce and her hair sway, and with each slow, careful shift of Sin's cock, Ramlethal felt chills run up her spine. She moaned and tugged at his hair harder, encouraging him to continue, and Sin responded to her plea with gusto. He tightened his thighs and held Ramlethal close as he filled her up over and over again, racking himself along her walls while Elphelt watched intently. She had since wedged her hand between her legs to play with her clit, entranced and completely enamored by the beautiful sight that was her nephew taking her sister's virginity. Elphelt sniffed up some blood that threatened to leak from her nose again when her feelings started getting to her, and released her teeming emotions by kissing Ramlethal on the mouth. Ramlethal accepted the kiss graciously by using the techniques Sin had used on her to please Elphelt more. Their tongues entwined and hands roaming each other's bodies, the sisters reveled in their ecstasy while Sin watched on with bated breath, unable to tear his eye away from his beautiful aunts.
The trio lost themselves in each other, ignoring the world around them as they shifted and moved along the bed. They changed positions during their tryst with Sin still fucking Ramlethal as hard as he could while Elphelt, at Sin's insistence, rode Ramlethal's face. Sin sighed happily at the pretty show the sisters put on for him and further pleasured them by rubbing Ramlethal’s clit and by taking Elphelt’s breast into his hungry mouth. This had gone on for a while until Ramlethal patted Elphelt’s thigh for air, prompting Elphelt to quickly lift off Ramlethal's face without question and allowing the young gear to look down and admire the feverish way Sin pounded into her cunt.
“S-Sin...” Ramlethal called out for him.
Sin popped off of Elphelt’s tit and replied.
“Fuck... Yeah, Rammy?”
She regarded her sister’s dripping sex before asking, “Perhaps you should take El next? She has yet to finish after all.”
“Who me? No, I’m fine, Ram, you should enjoy your--eep!”
“She has a point.” Sin had pinched Elphelt’s nipple and smirked. “Your dripping, El.”
“Well...”
“While Sin has sex with you, I can lick you again. That would be more pleasurable, right?”
“Ugh, fine...” Elphelt sighed in defeat and moved away from Ramlethal's body. “You guys are bad influences.”
“Certainly proved my point though...” Sin carefully pulled out of Ramlethal and watched her shudder before turning his attention to Elphelt. “You like family sex, don’t you?”
Elphelt puffed her cheeks and turned her head the other way petulantly.
“C’mon!” Sin teased. “You can tell us!”
“I don’t have to say it out loud!”
“Huh? You still don’t wanna admit it?”
“I’m just not ready to!”
Ramlethal listened to Sin and Elphelt argue for a few moments before finally taking matters into her own hands. The younger Valentine sat up and then slinked behind her sister to grab her thighs and hold them open for Sin. Elphelt yipped while Sin stared on, shutting up completely when he saw Elphelt’s cunt on full display.
“The longer you two argue, the less lubricated I become. Sin, please have sex with her.”
“Uh... Yeah!” Sin snapped out of his stupor by grabbing his cock and scooting towards Elphelt. He rubbed himself along her slit and watched his aunt keen at the feeling as she squirmed helplessly in Ramlethal’s arms. “You ready to admit it now then, El?”
“Don’t you tease me, you--!” Elphelt gasped when Sin pushed the tip of his length against her entrance, prodding and poking in all the right spots that drove her crazy.
“Huh? I can’t hear you! Sounds to me you like having your nephew’s dick in you! Right, Ram?”
Ramlethal massaged Elphelt’s breasts and nodded in agreement.
“Sin is an excellent lover, El. I think it’s best if you let him penetrate you now.”
“God, you two...!” Elphelt whimpered as Sin pushed himself into her, his cock filling her up so good she felt her eyes roll into her head. “Okay, okay, fine! I love it, I love having sex with you, Sin! I never felt this good in my entire life!”
“Oh fuck, you’re telling me...” Sin took a breath once he was all the way inside of Elphelt and shuddered heavily. “You guys are the best...”
Sin didn’t waste any time fucking Elphelt and went into her with the same intensity as he did with Ramlethel, pulling out and slamming back in with vigor. Elphelt's body jostled with each harsh cant of Sin's hips while Ramlethal busied herself with kissing Elphelt's face. The trio once again shared in each other's lusts as they drowned out everything that wasn't their gasps or moans, completely ignorant of a prying eye that watched them from Sin's cracked door. The voyeur observed the three youths with a trembling red eye before slowly stepping away from the door in shock, unable to look away from what was happening before her until her systems intervened. One green hand kept her eyes shielded while a blue one made her move to the hallway, away from the sins of her family so she could think a bit more clearly.
The voyeur retreated to a different part of the castle and left her son and sisters to indulge in one another, scared, angry, and most of all confused as to why this was happening.

Expectations - Shams x fem reader (Chapter 6)

warnings: emotional abuse
word count: 1.012
------------------
My social media was more successful than ever. Every time I checked on Shams' or Omar's phone it was bursting with views, likes and comments.
There were also some messages from worried followers who were asking if I was alright because of my dad. It was strange to think about it like that honestly. Of course, my relationship with my dad had always been pretty strict, but I had never considered him as abusive like some people were putting it.
Nevertheless I was freaking out when he showed up in the principals office after all. One look at him was enough to show me that I had fucked up.
“I'm taking you home right now”, he decided.
“Mr. (l/n). Can we please talk about this first?”, Miss Farida intervened.
“There's nothing to talk about”, he remarked.
Now I was absolutely frightened. My dad had been mad at me before, but something about this was different than the other times.
Miss Farida seemed to notice my state because she was desperately trying to make my dad talk to her.
“I'm not discussing this”, dad insisted.
“Dad, please”, I begged him.
“Come on”, he demanded. “Don't make a fool of yourself!”
When I did not stand up to follow him, he pulled me up by my arm.
I took one last glance at Miss Farida before I was dragged out of her office.
My dad did not utter a word until we were home. But there he did not even care to lower his voice.
“What the hell were you thinking?”, he yelled at me as soon as he had closed the door behind us. “Do you have any idea what you've done? My co-workers asked me about your video. I read the comments, too. People are suspecting that I'm abusing you. Have you wasted at least a thought on how this is affecting me? What all of this means for our reputation?”
He knew about my video. The video I had poured all my heart into. And all he cared about was his reputation. Maybe those people were right after all.
“Have you lost your voice all of a sudden? Alright then. This is going to have consequences. You need to do another video where you're denying everything you said in the other one”, he expected.
“I won't do that”, I proposed.
“You don't exactly have a choice”, he clarified.
“You can't force me”, I reminded him.
“You won't get to see your friends then. I'll take you out of school, too”, he threatened me.
“You'll do all of that anyway. It doesn't matter what I do now”, I assumed. “I'm going to my room.”
He was too shocked to stop me.
I actually stayed in my room until the door bell rang the next day. Food had not been tempting, but now my curiosity was taking the upper hand.
“What are you doing here?”, my dad wondered.
I was watching the whole scene from behind the wall, not recognizing the woman at our front door either.
“Can I come in, please?”, she requested.
“Now isn't a good time”, dad attempted getting rid of her.
But she was persistent. “I think now is the perfect time actually”, she proclaimed and simply entered the house.
She was scanning the room, spotting me before I could hide.
“Hey, (f/n)! I've been dying to meet you”, she confessed. “Sorry I didn't show up before. But I watched your videos and your life appeared so perfect. I didn't wanna risk ruining it, you know. Oh, almost forgot to introduce myself! I'm Samira. Your aunt.”
“You're my mom's sister?”, I reassured, approaching her cautiously.
“Exactly”, she confirmed. “Do you mind talking in private a bit?”
“Not at all. We could go to my room”, I suggested.
“You're not the one making the decisions”, dad interfered.
But Samira did not bother to react and instead encouraged me to show my room to her.
She closed the door behind her and sat down on the chair at my desk.
“I'm sorry, (f/n)”, she noted. “If I had known how your father is treating you I would have shown up way earlier.”
“Sorry, but I'm kinda lost”, I admitted.
“I only heard snippets of it in your video. Can you tell me more about your relationship with him, please?”
At first I was taken off guard by her blunt question, but I figured it would not do any harm to tell her the truth.
At the end of my story she was close to crying.
“Your dad's abusing you, (f/n)”, she concluded.
“What? No, he isn't. He never hit me or anything”, I pointed out.
“That's not the only way of abuse”, Samira enlightened me. “The way he's treating you. He's manipulating you … harming you emotionally. That isn't anything you should have to go through.”
“It's always been like that”, I recalled.
“That doesn't justify anything. Look … I know I'm basically a stranger to you. But I loved my sister more than anyone in the whole world and it's breaking my heart to see her daughter suffer like that. I want to get you out of here. But that's only working out if you want that, too”, she explained.
“What do you mean by that?”, I inquired.
“I want you to live with me”, she clarified. “You don't have to answer right away. I understand that you need time to process this.”
“No, I … Do I get to see my friends and stay at my school?”, I wondered.
“I'd have to move for that. But if that's what's making you happy I'm willing to do that”, she considered.
“What about dad? I don't think he'll let that happen”, I assumed.
“We can force him. If you play along we can threaten to get the police and lawyers involved. He doesn't want publicity like that”, she suggested. “So what do you say?”

chapter 1.
“i see we have a visitor today,” you say airily. “they’re hiring ‘em young these days, aren’t they?”
there’s … a toddler in your rolly seat.
it’s not the first thing you notice.
the first thing you notice is nanami’s long look at your seat - which, you’re almost ashamed to admit that you thought it was pining for the slightest second. three years next to someone is a long time, and you won’t lie, you’ve definitely wondered ‘what if?’ more times than you can count on one hand.
it’s with pain (and a heavy heart, to be dramatic) when you realize that it’s a look of exasperation - not longing, and definitely not intended for you.
you try your best not to let it show that your heart nearly stopped for a good, long minute because there’s just really no way you would've been able to see that mop of black hair from behind.
your coworker stiffens in his seat as he rubs the back of his neck. “i couldn’t find someone to watch him today.”
you watch him itch for a minute, debating between oversharing or not sharing at all. you, on the other hand, are already feeling over the moon for getting a response. you almost - almost - want to press for more but your teeth tug at your lower lip instead.
“is he taking over my desk? i’d be happy to share the work with him. or is he my replacement? has my time finally come?” you set your bag down on your desk, eyes grazing over the kid.
the kid looks back up at you with the same curiosity. when you squint at him, he squints back.
great. you have a copycat on your hands.
nanami leans to pick the child up like he’s a football and plants him on his lap. pressing his shoulder against the kid, he whispers, “say hi. she’s someone i work with.”
your eyes flit to nanami and your stomach dips. you’re not sure what exactly you were expecting him to say about you, but ‘someone he works with’ sounds a lot more impersonal hearing it outloud, true or not.
before your lips can thin out in disappointment, the boy grins. “i’m yuto.”
nanami tilts his head slightly. “my son.”
you blink.
this kid is ridiculously adorable. he might have what it takes to become a child idol or something, or maybe one of those gerber babies.
you also don’t think you’ve ever seen nanami smile the way yuto does.
you blink again. actually, there’s absolutely no resemblance there.
your mind reels and you feel your entire being recoil. wait. pause. nanami has a child? his kid? this is his kid?
it’s not like you haven’t noticed the photo in the corner of nanami’s desk, or his phone wallpaper for that matter (which is a story for another day). you just assumed - a little brother, a nephew, some other family member maybe.
it seems you’ve assumed wrong.
you glance at the frame behind his screen. at least in the photo, you could lie to yourself and say there’s some sort of similarity there. if you squinted, there definitely was, but seeing yuto in person is much, much different than seeing him in a photograph.
your heart is very, very close to breaking through your ribs with the way it beats. how are you supposed to act? how do you behave near a child again? you don’t think you’ve seen one in years.
“hi little man, i work with your dad. are you here to help him out today?” you drop your voice to a whisper and lean in close. “between you and me, your dad could use it.”
fuck. maybe corny aunt wasn’t the right approach here.
when yuto put’s his hand against yours, you sigh in relief. nothing matters anymore. yuto’s hand is warm and loving and tiny against your own. it makes your heart swell, so much that you think you might combust in your seat. this is truly a life-changing, one-of-a-kind experience.
nanami clicks his tongue, busy brushing the boy’s dark hair out of his eyes.
you’re completely, utterly torn. this is a nanami you’ve never witnessed in your life. this is a project partner you’ve had for years, with nothing but small talk exchanged. this is someone who’s barely said, “did you finish this yet?” and “can you fix this, please?”
this is someone who has embarrassingly rejected all of your attempts to talk to him unless it’s about work.
maybe he’s just very, very pro-capitalism.
there’s a shudder that runs down your spine. you’d believe it.
you should give him some credit. he’s been nothing short of polite to you, and maybe your mind is making up the way his face sours when he has to speak to you.
nanami’s features soften when yuto reaches into his own hair.
you’re gagged. completely.
and it doesn’t help that not even five minutes later, you’ve grown a strong attachment to the boy. his boy.
oh heavens.
“dad promised to buy me an egg tart if i came with him today,” yuto says nonchalantly, eyes wandering off to the side while nanami continues to fuss at him. “but he always goes to the cafe without me. i always ask him to take me - ”
“alright buddy,” nanami grunts, cutting him off. he peels yuto off of his lap and sits him down on the seat to his right. “i’ve got work today. if i finish early, we can go.”
yuto’s lower lip starts to jut out, starting to get visibly upset with his father’s executive decision to write the cafe off as a ‘maybe’ for today.
even after ten minutes, you can tell all he’s thinking about was that egg tart he was promised in exchange for sitting in this prison, glued to his father’s hip.
if you were a toddler, you wouldn’t be too happy either.
nanami pays no mind and makes himself comfortable - a routine you’ve accustomed yourself to observing every morning - before clicking away at his computer. is this a tough love approach? is that even a parenting style?
yuto burns a hole in his father’s back with all of that glaring, which, admittedly, is very intense for a three-year-old.
you hug yourself. it feels like the temperature’s dropped at least 10 degrees. you shift towards yuto, a frown still smacked on his lips.
“you know … i think they might have some candy in the breakroom. you wanna go check it out?”
Tumblr media
“stop bothering her, yuto.”
nanami’s voice is low and gravelly. it’s not even noon and the day is already beginning to wear him down, you can tell.
it’s only the slightest crack in his facade. you’re feeling slightly ambivalent, considering you get to see him like this at his expense.
“it’s quite alright,” you mumble, clicking away on your excel sheet. “yuto’s pretty cool, i guess.”
yuto giggles from behind you. somehow, throughout the morning, he’s found his way in between you and nanami. it’s like you’ve got a tiny bridge to nanami now, with yuto binding the two of you together.
“how was your first meeting, mr. yuto?” you ask absent-mindedly, scrolling through your screen.
you wonder if yuto can make any sense of these numbers. he might actually be able to, considering you can’t and you’ve been hired to do this. now that he’s even sat in on a meeting, the chances are even higher.
“pretty good,” yuto says confidently. at the same time, nanami responds, “not good.”
yuto shifts in his seat and a quick pause follows. “not good, i guess.”
you laugh. “and why’s that?”
when yuto doesn’t respond, nanami mumbles, “raised him better than this.”
you don’t catch the beginning of that statement, but you’re able to put some pieces together.
you inhale deeply and swivel to look at him, pursing your lips in the direction of your coworker. maybe good cop, bad cop is a parenting style. even if it isn’t, you’re willing to try it out while yuto’s in your presence.
“it’s okay yuto, everyone has a bad first meeting. actually, all of the meetings are bad. none of them are ever any fun, so don’t worry.”
“you’re right, it was really boring. everyone’s really boring here.”
“yuto,” nanami says sternly. “put your headphones on and sit still.”
and here you thought nanami was just sexy cardboard this whole time. who’d have ever thought he could act like this?
yuto’s shoulders start to slump forward as nanami’s coldness rolls off of him in waves. you shouldn’t feel personally affected by this ... but you do. oh, you so do.
you check the time on your screen before looking at nanami. “you know what, it’s almost lunch break. nanami, are you going out to grab lunch?”
he blinks at you, clearly startled by your direct address - and now that he’s looking back at you like that, you’re also just a bit startled by yourself too.
“uh, no,” he says quickly, looking back at his screen, “i’m just going to work through it today.”
“you mind if i take yuto with me then? we’ll bring you back something.”
nanami seems to still for a moment, hesitant to let him go with you. you’d be hesitant too, to let your child go off with a coworker you barely know.
“sure, that’d be great, actually.”
Tumblr media
yuto’s in very high demand at the office today. you’re not even sure how many people have stopped by nanami’s cubicle, but it’s distracting as hell.
you should ask nanami to hire you as yuto’s manager. you’re obviously pretty decent at time-management, especially considering all you’ve done is keep yuto company anyways. you’d definitely be better at being yuto’s manager than whatever the hell it is you do at the company.
“you should feel popular, little man.”
“i feel tired.” yuto yawns for added effect and you stifle a laugh.
nanami looks at you. “did you finish those materials for the meeting today?”
even with his kid around, he’s unrelenting. what’s it going to take?
you look at yuto. “party pooper,” you whisper to him before humming in nanami’s direction. “i sent them to you last night. let me know if i need to adjust anything.”
“perfect,” he says, clearing his throat. “thank you.”
“party pooper,” yuto parrots.
nanami flashes you a side-long look. fix this.
you grin cheekily. no.
nanami’s brow twitches and he clicks his tongue for the third time today, which is already more than a grand total of zero on every other day. you watch him in amusement as he writhes uncomfortably, not sure whether to prioritize his work or his child.
it’s … cute.
it’s like he’s feeding ducks with the way you’re scrambling after these crumbs. beggars can’t be choosers, you suppose, and with nanami involved, you don’t have much of a choice. you’ll take what you can get because it’s just so fascinating.
nanami flicks his wrist and adjusts his tie before looking your way.
“will you watch yuto while i wrap up my next meeting?”
he looks almost apologetic, as if to say there’s no one else he can really ask.
your chest tightens. he’s never once asked you for a favor, much less a personal one.
“absolutely,” you beam. “yuto and i are gonna have a great … half an hour without you.”
nanami’s features flatten like a pancake and your eyes widen defensively. “don’t give me that look,” you say indignantly. “listen, i’m doing you a favor - ”
“don’t teach him any new phrases.”
you almost feel like nanami’s your dad and you’ve been caught with your hand stuck in a cookie jar. your jaw slightly drops in awe as you watch nanami stand up and slip his papers under his arm.
“party pooper!” yuto giggles.
when you glance back at nanami, you catch a glimpse of his lips curved up.
Tumblr media
your phone lights up. you frown when you see the ‘you have a new direct message’ on your homescreen.
it seems like work won’t ever leave you alone. it’s 7 pm, you’ve got pad thai in the microwave, shitty reality tv running in the background, and someone from work wants to message you through the app for work.
you sigh and reach for your phone, praying to every god it isn’t actually work-related.
a peal of laughter bubbles inside of you when all you see is, “yuto wants to know if you’d like to ‘hang out’ tomorrow.”
“absolutely. why the quotations?”
your fingers are quick, fueled by your newfound love for a child you just met 12 hours ago.
“he wanted to send you the message himself, but i don’t trust him with my phone. let’s meet at the cafe across work at 10?”
“perfect.”
you pause. this time, your fingers work on the slight tugging of your heart, the want to keep the conversation going.
you tack on a quick, “no egg tarts today?” before sending it and flipping your phone over like it’s lava. your heart’s ringing in your throat, in your ears, sending ripples through your blood. you reach for your water bottle as if you’ve been stranded in the sahara desert for three years.
you remind yourself not to take it personally if he doesn’t respond. he doesn’t seem the type to be willing to carry out a conversation anyways, right? you keep reminding yourself, there’s nothing to worry about -
“not today. yuto and i had some things to talk about.”
you snort. how … nanami of nanami.
“a new business deal? yuto seems to be in high demand.”
“a new business deal involving manners. his popularity has gotten to his head, i’m afraid.”
“sounds like he’s in need of a new manager. any chance he’s hiring?”
“the position isn’t available to you.”
an audible, “why not?” spills from your lips. your fingers move faster as you type, “i think i’ll have to call HR if you won’t let me apply.”
“too bad for you, i’m HR.” a few seconds later: “thanks for today. we’ll see you tomorrow.”
and just like that, the conversation’s ended. you let the phone slip from your fingers onto the counter and sigh out the breath you’ve been holding since you picked up your phone.
you rub your eyes, a smile toying on your lips as you reach for your leftovers. you’re starting to think it’s a little funny how a three year old has completely turned your life upside down in less than 24 hours.

——————————
The delicious aroma of chicken and rice wafted through the Brooks-Ramsey household. The couple worked side by side in the kitchen as they had all those years ago, the only difference being that it was now a dinner for five and not just two.
Allison Dolores Brooks-Ramsey came into their lives nine years ago, and while it was earlier than they would have wanted, they didn’t regret a second of their lives ever since they first heard her voice.
The twins on the other hand, were planned, but nothing had prepared them for the chaos that Nathan and Natalie would bring. A new broken object every week, a dozen fights for the TV every day, and yet were nothing short of tiny tornadoes when they joined forces.
It couldn’t be more perfect.
“What time did Jackie and Emilia say that they would bring the girls back?”
“6:30, I think.”
“Ah. So we have time till 7:00.” They shared a knowing smile. Two aunts taking their nine and six year old nieces to the mall meant a complete raid of the toy store, and a new guitar.
“You need to stop letting everyone spoil the girls just because you have a soft spot for them, Ethan. Ally’s grown old enough to understand that she has her daddy wrapped around her finger, and we don’t need Nat coming to that realisation as well.”
“I don’t- I can’t believe you would accuse me of not loving all my children equally!”, he exclaimed in mock offense.
“Mhmm. So why did I have to come up with an explanation to tell Nathan why his dad wasn’t on board with ordering dessert when he asked for it, but relented once his sisters kept bugging him for another five minutes?”
He opened his mouth in protest, but decided against saying anything for his own good. “Well what can I say? They’ve inherited their mother’s persuasiveness. And I can’t really say no to you, can I?”
Alyssa’s lips curved upwards at that. The playful look in her husband’s eyes caused her to finally break into a grin. “At least you’re self-aware.” Stuffing the rice into the bird she added, “But I can’t exactly tell our son that his dad is too in-love with his mom that he sees her in his daughters and hence can’t say no to them. He’d gag in disgust.”
He chuckled and wrapped his arms around her, resting his head in the crook of her neck. “That he would. Alright I’ll try a little harder to resist their charms. Wouldn’t want my only son to end up hating me.” He said it without a hint of worry over it becoming true someday. Over the years, he’d learned to put aside his fears of not being a good father, and with the help of some therapy, and Alyssa’s unwavering love and support, he’d locked up his insecurities in a box and let it sink to the bottom of the ocean.
They took the stuffed chicken and put it in the oven, washed their hands and plopped down on the couch for some rare downtime.
“Crap.”
“Everything okay?”
“Fred’s mom got called in, so she’s dropping Nate off on her way to work.”
Ethan sighed. “There goes the hour I planned to spend with my wife, who I barely get to spend enough time with these days.”
“I swear, you were never this busy when you were chief. I have no idea why my workload’s ten times bigger.”
“I do.” Ethan smiled with pride. “One usually does have a lot of work when they’re at the front lines of the battle for making free healthcare accessible for every single person in the country. My brilliant wife, though she could choose to leave most of the work to her very competent team, opts to take it all upon herself. So that’s probably the cause behind all the extra workload she complains about.”
She smirked and perched herself onto his lap. “Well your very brilliant wife also knows that you called my team very competent just to avoid hurting my feelings, and that you and I both know that they’ll be running around like headless chickens without me taking care of things.”
“I know, love. But you can still make them do a little more instead of working yourself to the bone while still making sure that you have at least one meal with the kids every day.”
She sighed. “Yeah, to make sure that they don’t forget what I look like.” She leaned in closer. “Besides, are we really going to spend our last few minutes of peace talking about work?”
Just as she uttered the words, the door burst open, and Nathan kicked off his shoes and jumped onto the couch as Alyssa slid down from Ethan’s lap. She shot him a look that very clearly meant What did I just say?
Ethan gave her an apologetic look and ruffled his son’s hair. “Hey buddy. How was your day at Fred’s? I know you wanted to spend more time with him.”
“I did, and we were just about to open his new LEGO set when Mrs. Watson told us that she had to run up to her office for some emergency meeting.”, he pouted. “But it was a nice day. We watched Thor: Ragnarok and Luca, and we would’ve watched another movie if his dad didn’t tell us that two movies were enough for a day.”
Alyssa shot him a mildly stern look. “Well he was right. You’re too young to have movie marathons just yet. Two are more than enough, unless you want to have a headache.”
“But mom, I’m not too young! I’m a big boy! I can swing along the monkey bars at the park faster than Natalie, and soon I’ll swing across buildings just like Spider-Man!”
“Well Spider-Man got bitten by a yucky spider before he swung across buildings. Do you want to be bitten by a gross and poisonous spider?”
“Mommy, not all spiders are gross and poisonous. Dad told me that when I was four and got scared of them at the zoo.”
She rolled her eyes. Leave it to her husband to convince her kids that insects were anything short of creepy and disgusting. In reality, they were, but as someone who ran a mile away at the sight of a butterfly, she wasn’t going to accept that.
“That’s right, Nate. Some of them are certainly very poisonous and dangerous, but that doesn’t mean that you should be scared of them. If you maintain your distance and admire them from afar, there should be no problem at all.”, he said with a pointed look at Alyssa, who just huffed in annoyance.
Nathan giggled, his brown eyes lighting up with amusement. He loved watching his parents playfully bicker. It was way better than seeing them- ugh, kiss.
“We were pretending to be superheroes and Fred used his full name for his pretend name cause it sounded cool, and it is. Fredrick Anthony Watson sounds like something from that show you and mom watch with the guys in the stuffy suits.”
“When did you see us watching the show with the guys in the stuffy suits?”, asked Ethan with a slight hint of concern. Whatever he and Alyssa watched on their free nights was definitely not kid-friendly.
“I don’t remember. Maybe a few months ago.”
Their year old puppy, Ivy, woke up from her nap and bounced into the living room to jump onto her favourite person. Nathan squealed with joy as the fluffy hair of the dog tickled his nose.
Ethan and Alyssa smiled at each other. Getting another dog after Jenner was a decision that took a lot of convincing, but their kids were responsible enough and it was impossible to say no after two years of constant pestering.
“Fred told me that he was named after his great-grandfather William, and that he was this really cool guy who saved a bunch of guys from getting mugged in a dark, dark alley.” He turned to look at his parents as Ivy snuggled into his lap. “Who was I named after mom?”
The question caught her off guard, and she glanced at Ethan for backup.
When they knew that they were having a boy, they immediately knew what to name him. They hadn't, however, anticipated Nathan Daniel Brooks-Ramsey to ask such a question this soon.
Seeing his wife at a loss for words, Ethan spoke up. “C’mere Nate.” He pulled him closer and pressed a kiss atop his head. “We once had a friend named Daniel. He worked at the hospital as a nurse, and he was close to your mom and Aunt Sienna when they were interns.”
Having found her voice, Alyssa joined in. “He was an amazing friend. He was the only nurse in the hospital who helped me out when things got messy, and cheered up Aunt Sienna when no one else could. He’d join us for picnics and movie nights, and you could always count on him if you needed something at the hospital.” She took a deep breath, and Ethan nodded. “Things were going well, but then in my second year, something really bad happened.”
“Oh no.”
“There was this bad guy, who wanted his revenge on another bad guy, and he was ready to risk his own life, and the lives of everyone around him to do so.”
“That’s horrible! Who would want to do something like that?”
Ethan smiled wistfully. “A lot of people in this world actually do. You’re a good person, so you know that it’s wrong. But some people aren’t, and they don’t care about other people getting hurt because of their actions. That night at the hospital, Danny tried to tell the bad guy that it was wrong, and to think things through. But he didn’t listen, and did something that hurt both himself, Danny, Uncle Raf, another friend of ours, and your mom.”
His little eyebrows creased with worry, Nathan asked, “What happened then?”
“He… he died. Along with our other friend, Bobby. Do you remember what we once told you about an autopsy?” Nathan nodded his head. “Well Danny asked for his body to be autopsied, and thanks to him, we were able to find out what was wrong with mom and Uncle Raf.”
He fell silent for a moment, remembering the horrors of the day, and how eternally grateful he was to Danny for being the reason he didn’t lose everything. He couldn’t imagine a life without the love of his life and his children, and he wouldn’t have either if not for the sacrifices that were made.
He looked up at Alyssa, and she squeezed his hand in support. “We’ll tell you more when you’re older, but to make it short, you’re named after a hero too. If it weren’t for him, I wouldn’t have you, your sisters, or mom here with me.”
Nathan wriggled out of his dad’s arms, and set Ivy down so he could hug his mom as tightly as he could.
“Well… if you can hear me Mr. Daniel, I just wanna thank you. Thanks for saving my mom. I love her so much and I’m so thankful that I got to meet her because of what you did. I wish I could’ve met you, you sound like a really cool person, and I’m sure you were. So yeah, thanks. A lot.”
Alyssa’s eyes glimmered with unshed tears, and she held her son as she expressed her silent thanks along with Ethan.
What they had was precious.
Fifteen years had passed since they first met, and yet each day they fell in love a little more like they did when they held hands for the first time in the dim light of the NICU watching over little Ethan, or when she finally got to see the real him the first time she visited his place; the first time in years he let someone know a little of the worries residing deep in his heart.
With all the odds against them, it was a miracle that they survived, even more so that they managed to raise three perfect children who had more love to share than they could ever comprehend.
And they’d never forget all the reasons that made it possible for them to survive.
Ding!
The timer on the oven went off, and they got to their feet to get the chicken.
“Was he a good cook dad?”
“I… don’t really know, Nate. Your mom knew him better than I did.”
“Well there was this one time where he helped Aunt Sienna bake an amazing cake, so I guess he knew his way around the kitchen.”, Alyssa recollected fondly. It was for Jackie’s birthday, one of the few nights where the competition was completely forgotten about.
Nathan’s face melted into a glowing smile. “I love cake. So I guess I really would’ve loved him.”
She mirrored his radiant expression. “You definitely would’ve.”
“Why don’t you go play with Ivy while mom and I get the food ready? You can help us with the dessert later.”
“We’re having dessert?!”
Ethan grinned at his son’s excitement. “You bet we are.”
“Yay!” They watched as Nathan ran off to go play fetch with Ivy in their enormous backyard.
Ethan pulled Alyssa in for a sweet, lingering kiss as soon as he was out of sight.
“You’ve been wanting to do that for a while now hmm?”
“Something like that.”, he murmured as they broke apart.
She could see the ever-increasing strands of silver in his brown hair, and the faint wrinkles along the sides of his forehead, but his clear blue eyes were just as loving and devoted as she remembered from over a decade ago.
“We have a pretty good life, don’t we?”
Ethan kissed her again. “No, we have the perfect life.”

Billy Hargrove x Male Reader
Headcanons: You’re new in town and help Billy become a better person.
Warnings: mentions of violence and homophobia, hints of smut.
A/N: This doesn’t really follows the ST timeline but who cares about canon or accuracy, am I right?
[ Masterlist ]
Tumblr media
Your parents move you a lot due to their jobs, they’re always researching something in some strange corner of the world. You can’t understand how you went from living in South America for the last six months to living in middle-of-nowhere Hawkins Indiana.
You’re out to your parents, and they’re very supportive. You consider yourself lucky, they’re very modern and open-minded people.
The kids at your new school don’t know what to make of you with your different clothes, hair and accent. Some of the teachers are fascinated to learn of the places you’ve been to.
When you met Robin your gaydars went off and you’re both excited to have a Fellow Gay in town. She introduces you to her friend Steve and the three of you become very close. Soon you are also helping Steve take care of his kids.
Tumblr media
Billy hears of this strange new kid and goes to look for him to show him who owns this school. When Billy sees you he is enthralled, the world stops and all he sees is you, he feels a strange sensation inside, and he hates it.
In the days that follow, Billy makes his moves. He is mean to you, calls you names. He tries to intimidate you and scare you. But you’ve dealt with his type many times before and you have some tricks up your sleeve.
Billy hates that you don’t react to his taunting. You just smile and laugh.
“F*g!”
“You too?! Wanna go on a date, darling? Bad boys with pretty hair are totally my type, Hargrove.”
His words don’t work, so he changes his tactics.
You’re walking through an empty hallway when he attempts to grab you and slam you against the wall. Only to find himself on the floor completely immobilized. He had no clue you had trained in various martial arts.
Putting the pain aside, Billy is turned on by the feeling of being dominated, he feels himself hardening against the cold floor.
You lean down and whisper in his ear, “think twice before daring to touch me, pretty boy.” You let him go.
One side of him wants to fight but when he sees the determination and fearlessness in your eyes he backs down. “This isn’t over,” he huffs and leaves stomping the floor.
Tumblr media
Billy leaves you alone after that. He only glares at you and curses at you under his breath. He hates that he can’t stop thinking about that day. He hates that he enjoyed being under your control. He hates how he can only cum to images of you. But at this exact moment he hates seeing you with Steve laughing.
You feel his eyes on you, how they follow you as you move. When you face him his face hardens and his fists clench, but there’s something in his eyes you can’t decipher.
One day you’re alone in the showers, or so you think. You turn and see Billy checking you out from the other side, completely frozen. You notice his hard-on and his eyes open wide. He thinks you’ll say something but you just smile and wink at him. He leaves hurriedly trying to control himself.
That confirms your suspicions and you know what is up with Billy. You’ve met guys with internalized homophobia, but never like Billy.
After that, teasing Billy becomes one of your favourite activities. You pay him visits at the pool, making sure he gets a nice view of you. You notice when he covers his lap with his magazine, and tries to focus on something else.
“Why do we come to the public pool? We both have pools at home,” Steve complains. Robin laughs at the clueless boy, and proceeds to explain the situation.
Tumblr media
One day Billy finds you alone and he attempts to make a move on you. He was so confident believing you’d accept his advances.
“I’m not some desperate lonely gay boy, Billy. I don’t bend over for any hot guy that offers me his dick.” “So you think I’m hot?” He smirks. You scoff leaving him there.
Billy hates that you rejected him. How is it possible? He thinks of the guys he tormented and then fucked back in California, how easy they fell to their knees for him.
Billy has never met a gay guy as confident and unafraid as you. Deep inside he feels jealous and admiration for you. He secretly wishes he could be as open and be free as you.
Tumblr media
You get paired for a project, you are prepared to do all the work and let him take part of the credit. You’re shocked when he asks if you want to get together to work on the project. You’re even more shocked when you learn that he actually understands the material and is quite smart.
Against your better judgement you invite him to your place. You’re surprised he shows up on time.
When he greets your parents, it’s like he’s a completely different person. He laughs at your dad’s jokes, compliments your mom, and even asks about what they are working on.
Billy is even more jealous of you when he sees how loving and caring your parents are, how happy and peaceful your home life is.
Tumblr media
The second time he comes over he has to excuse himself and go to the bathroom to splash some water on his face and calm down. All he can think of is everything you have that he doesn’t.
He finds you and your parents sitting tightly together as your mother reads a book out loud in french for you and your dad.
“Sit down honey, I’ll translate for you,” your mother says.
By the fourth day he accepts your parents’ invitation to stay for dinner. He has fun, he’s fascinated by your parents’ stories and their research work.
You get a glimpse of the real Billy and can’t help but smile.
Tumblr media
One day during dinner your mother talks about your exes trying to embarrass you, and asks Billy if there’s a special boy in his life.
Billy’s breath hitches and starts to sweat. He stands up quickly bumping into the table, saying he has to leave.
Your mom tries to apologise and your dad asks him to stay.
You follow him outside the house. “Billy, wait!”
He turns around to face you and his eyes are red as he tries to hold in the tears. “Hey, it’s all—“ “I’m not a... I’m not.” he grunts before getting in his car and speeding off.
Billy parks somewhere secluded and hits the steering wheel with his fists, he cries and yells in anger. He’s angry, sad, jealous.
He cries for his mom, for a life he wishes he had, for the love and support he yearns for.
Tumblr media
Billy returns the following week to finish the project. He plans to just focus on the project, finish it and never return.
Your mom answers the door. “So good to see you, love, we’ve missed you,” she says warmly rubbing his arm, “sorry about the other day”. He almost doesn’t hear the last sentence, he hasn’t heard those words or felt that way in a long time. Someone being happy to see him, missing him, calling him love.
Your dad greets him and calls him son, and asks him to join him later in the study to show him their latest findings.
You and Billy don’t talk about what happened. You focus on your project.
“Have you always been out to your parents?” Billy blurts out.
You decide to be honest. “Yeah, they sort of figured it out when I was little.” You tell him how growing up you met all kinds of people through your parents. You tell him about your parents’ gay friends that you call uncles and aunts. Telling him how you always felt free to be yourself with your parents even though you know the world is cruel and unaccepting.
After a moment of silence Billy speaks. He talks about the only openly gay person he ever met, a friend of his mom back in California. He tells you about how his father hated his mom’s friend and got in fights with his mom about it.
He tells you about his dad, how aggressive and angry he is. He doesn’t tell you about the physical abuse. He went on about how unhappy he was, and how different your lives were.
You start to see why Billy acts the way he does. Bullying others is his way to feel he is in control.
“How do you do it?”
“What?”
“Being gay like that, you don’t hide.”
“We only live once, I’m not gonna let a world full of bigots tell me I can’t be myself and be happy.” You pause. ”Billy? You can always be yourself here.”
Tumblr media
After you finish your project, Billy keeps coming to your place to hang out.
He’s more relaxed and tones down the attitude. He even starts being nice to Max.
He’s still the bad boy to everyone else, but when he enters your home all that stays outside.
You learn more about the real Billy. How he likes science and music. How curious he is. How funny he can be. And you slowly start to fall for this Billy.
Tumblr media
One day Billy and you are in the living room listening to music lying on the carpet and giggling when your mom comes in. “Honey, your friends are here.”
You both look up and see a shocked Steve and the kids, and a grinning Robin. Max is especially shocked by the whole scene.
“Oh hey guys, you know Billy, right? We’re just listening to this new album.”
Billy panics, and stands up to escape, “I have to go.” You understand, not wanting to force him into anything.
The others sit down looking suspiciously at Billy as he leaves. Billy avoids all eye contact. “What did I get himself into?” Billy thinks.
Meanwhile Robin and you have each other’s arm over your shoulders as you sing dramatically.
“Is anyone going to talk about how you were on the floor giggling with Billy Hargrove?” Mike asks.
Tumblr media
One rainy night, Billy is driving to your house. His eyes sting, his knuckles turn white gripping the wheel. He feels his cheek and eye starting to swell. He stays on the driveway debating on what to do. He sees your bedroom light on and goes to ring the bell hoping that you open the door.
It’s your mom that opens the door. “Billy? Come on in, love, you’re soaking wet.” When he steps into the lit hallway your mom finally sees his face. “Oh my god, sweetheart. What happened?”
“Who is it darling? Oh Billy!  Are you okay, son?” Your dad asks him.
Billy wants to lie, he had this planned, he would have said how he got into a fight with another guy and didn’t want to go home looking like that. “I got—I...” he tries. But he can’t keep it in anymore. “It was... My—my dad...” he chokes as he lets out a cry.
He feels two sets of arms engulf him, and he lets is all out. He cries like he’s never cried before. He thinks he hears your name being called. He hears your parents’ voices, encouraging and supportive words he can barely make up. He cries even more when he think of how these people that he met not long ago care more about him than his own father.
You find your parents consoling Billy. Your mom is holding him while your dad rubs circles on his back. And Billy holds on to them like his life depends on it.“Billy?” He looks up to you and you see his broken face, all the pain and suffering he has endured and your heart breaks for him.
You help him get up and walk him to the living room. Your dad goes to prepare the guest room and your mother prepares some tea. Billy is curled into a ball under a blanker with his head on your lap. You run your hand through his hair as you rub his arm comfortingly.
When he calms down, he starts telling you of everything his dad has done. All the punches, the bruises, the hurtful words.
Later you take him to the guest room, you help him get his clothes off and rub some medicine over his bruises.
“Can you stay with me?”
“Of course.”
You hold him close, his face pressed on your chest.
For the first time in a long while Billy sleeps peacefully.
Tumblr media
After that day your parents take action, they’re on the phone with their lawyers, looking at how they can help Billy and Max.
Your parents help him get custody of Max.
The both of them move in with your family.
“Can’t believe you’re taking me to live with your boyfriend,” Max tells him. “He’s just a friend,” he groans. “Yeah, right.”
That night Billy is in your bed as you read to him, his head on your lap. “Thank you,” he says pulling your book down to look at you. “What for?” You ask, running a hand through his hair. “For saving me, and Max.” You smile and kiss his forehead and continue with the story.
Tumblr media
In the morning you wake up to Billy facing you, looking at you and he smiles.
“You okay?” He nods and reaches for your hand, holding it tightly as he scoots closer to you.
You move a loose strand of hair behind his ear, caressing his cheek, feeling how soft his skin is.
You two stay like that for a while just enjoying each other’s warmth in silence, playing with your hands and looking into other’s eyes. Neither of you can’t stop smiling.
“I love you, (y/n).”
“I love you too, Billy.”

PART ONE  PART TWO
Ever since the incident at the drive-in theater, Y/N has been avoiding Peter. Whenever MJ, Peter, and Ned would walk out of school together, Y/N wouldn’t be leaning out of the window of the car smiling and waving at them. She would have the window rolled up and looked either straight out the ahead or down at her phone.
Peter told Ned about the whole situation but didn’t tell MJ. He knew she would kill him because Y/N is her cousin and their like sister towards each other.
“Peter I don’t know what your gonna do, but you gotta do it fast cause sooner or later MJs’ gonna find out and your not only gonna lose the girl you have a major crush on but also your best friend,” Ned pointed out to Peter. Peter didn’t want to admit it but he was right. He had to come out with the truth to Y/N one way or another. He had to tell her that he does like her and that he lied about the stark internship.
He had to tell her that he was Spider-Man.
“Yeah Ned, I guess you right.”
“I am right Pete. Now go get your Princess Leia,” Ned teased as the bell rang, signaling that it was time for them to leave. The two boys made their way out of the building, talking about their project they still had yet to finish. They didn’t see MJ around like how she usually is until they heard familiar voices coming from behind them.
“Here’s your schedule and your and the supply list. You can also sign up for clubs if you would like,” an administrator said.
“I’ll think about it. That you so much.” there it was. That voice. It was Y/N talking to the administrator. But I thought she was homeschooled? Peter thought to himself, trying to wrap his mind around what was going on. It’s not like it was a bad thing that Y/N was coming to Midtown, but MJ told him that she really wasn’t the type to go to school. She hated big crowds of people and was never really good at making friends.
“Ok well, I can’t wait to have you as a new student at Midtown!”
Peter and Ned looked at each other with wide eyes then turned fully around to see who was behind them, even though they already knew by the voices. “Peter…”
“Ned,” he said to the tan boy next to him. They were both in shock by what they just heard.
“Y/N’s going to Midtown?” they said in sync.
“Yes, she is,” MJ added as she and her cousin walked over to stunned boys. Ned sent them both a smile and Y/N sent him one back with a small ‘hi’. Peter couldn’t help but notice that something was different about her.
She’s not wearing her glasses.
The four of them walked out of the building together, telling Y/N about all the teachers and classes at the high school. She also explained that she was tired of being homeschooled and wanted to have something to do outside of her one personal bubble. This new information didn’t make much sense to Peter. She seemed so happy when she was at home from what he could see.
Ned said goodbye to the two girls before heading over to the bus, beckoning Peter over.
“Later MJ, b-bye Y/N.”
“See ya, Parker,” MJ responded before getting into the passenger side of the car, kicking her feet up on the dashboard.
“Hey! Feet off the dashboard dude,” Y/N yelled at her cousin. MJ mocked her expression before chuckling lightly- keeping her feet on the dashboard. “Goodbye, Peter,” she said coldly, turning back to Peter before getting into the driver’s side, pulling away from the curb before speeding off down the road.
“I miss you.”
The brown-eyed boy whispered to no one, but it was meant for Y/N. He truly did miss her. Even if they had met only one week ago, that same surge of energy raced through him. Peter knew this wasn’t an ordinary crush- he didn’t know what it was. But he knew he couldn’t afford to lose it. He felt like he was falling apart without her. He didn’t intend to be that rude to her that night at the drive-in, it just happening and he regretted it the second he did it once he saw that heartbroken-hearted look on her face. But instead of apologizing to her, he just sat there.
“Sup penis Parker!” a kid named flash yelled and he sped by him, causing Peter’s brown curly hair to fall into his face. Great.
“Hey kid, I ain’t got all day. Ya getting on or not?” the bus driver said to Peter. He slumped his shoulders and lugged himself into the bus, taking his seat next to his best friend. “It’s gonna be ok man,” Ned told Peter, trying to comfort him.
I hope so.
///
Peter was late-night patrolling as he usually did and spotted MJ’s place. Not being able to restrain himself he swung over to the building next to it. He noticed that that same room light was on that was on the first time he stopped by MJ’s on a night patrol as Spider-Man.
Looking through the window to the lit room, he saw Y/N. she was sitting on her bed, her legs crisscrossed as she wrote something down in a thick, brown, leather-backed journal.
He smiled at the sight before him. Y/N was wearing the glasses. She pushed them up on her face with her knuckle and continued them to write. Someone must have called her name because she got up from her position on the bed and left her room.
Curiosity took over Peter as he swung over the ledge of the fire escape that was right at Y/N’s window. He peered into it and used his mask to focus closely on the open journal sitting on the bed. It was a letter:
Dear dad,
I can’t do this anymore. I miss you so much. You were what made me smile every day, and you still do. But I thought I had found someone who could make me smile even more. He’s beautiful dad. He has amazingly curly brown hair and the brightest brown eyes I had ever seen. His smile made me smile just like how your smile made me smile. He was the one that convinced me to wear my glasses… your glasses. Not MJ. not mom. He did. I thought he liked me as much as I liked him, but I was wrong. And now I can’t stop thinking about what you told me: some people fall in love with the wrong people sometimes. I think he was the one dad, the wrong one. The one I wasn’t supposed to be with. But why does it hurt so much? I’ve been preparing for this to happen to me ever since you told about false love. But now that it actually happened, I cant take it. I cant let him go. But I-
The letter stopped. And anyone could tell that Y/N had been crying as she wrote it- there were tear strains covering the page.
Peter felt lightheaded. Tears flooded his chocolate eyes and he unfocused his mask from the page. He slumped down, his back not facing the window. He was hurt. It felt like everything in the world had stopped, as time had frozen. He couldn’t bear to know the fact that he hurt Y/N so much to the point she thinks it’s her fault.
He yanked the mask off of his face, his cheeks burning a shade of crimson just like his eyes. Peter ran a shaky hand through his hair, gripping it as he grounded out in frustration.
Letting go he slammed his fist against the brick behind him, yelling out in pain. But not physical pain. He felt like someone just ripped out his heart and stomped on it.
“Hello?” Peter jumped at the voice coming from inside of Y/N’s room. Nows your change Peter. Just go tell her the truth. That’s what one side of Peter said, the other side was the opposite. You cant tell her now, she’ll just hate you more. You have to wait for the right moment.
But when was the right moment?
“MJ, did you hear that or am I fucking crazy?” Y/N asked as she exited the room. Peter took this chance to get away without being seen. He made his way but to his shared apartment with Aunt May. Entering his room and sitting on his bed, tears ran down his face as he silently sobbed.
///
“Students, I need your attention,” everyone quieted down their own conversations to hear what was about to be said. “I would like to introduce you to our new student, Y/N,” Peter’s head snapped but to look to the front of the class. His eyes landed on Y/N. he couldn’t help but admire her outfit. She was wearing high-waisted but loose, flared jeans with a grey Slytherin sweatshirt and black converse- ones like MJs. her fingers were covered in rings and she has a small necklace. There was a bag draped over her shoulder and her hair was pulled up into a messy ponytail. She was holding her glasses in her hand, not daring to put them on.
Not in front of all these people. More importantly, in front of Peter.
Her head hung and she stared at her feet, twisting the ring on her thumb. The teacher told that she could take a seat at an empty chair, and just to her luck, Ned wasn’t at school that day. So she was forced to sit next to Peter. She didn’t want to argue so she took her seat and sat there quietly not daring to even glance at the boy next to her.
Half an hour went by and Peter noticed Y/N fidgeting next to him. Her hands were shaking, her ears were turning bright red and she shook the table from how much she was bouncing it. She was taking notes but the handwriting was illegible she was consistently squinting at the board, trying to read what was being written.
“Hey Y/N, are you ok?”
“Fine,” she let out shakily, avoiding eye contact with Peter. He grabbed her hand, causing her to look him in the eye. Y/N’s eyes were red, tears swelling in the corners.
“We’re going to the bathroom. Now.”
“No Peter I’m f-fine.”
Peter grabbed Y/N’s arm, pulling out of the chair and into his arms, picking up their belonging with his free arm. They snuck out the back door to the classroom he and Ned used to sneak out of.
Walking through the halls, Y/N’s breath became shallow. “Peter, peter I wanna go home. Please take me home. There are too many people in there. They were all looking at me a-and I didn’t want them to look at me. MJ. Peter where is MJ. I need-”
“Ssshhh, relax Y/N. I’m gonna take you home,” Peter said, rubbing her back. She nodded her head at him as they walked through the back doors of the school.
SORRY THAT THIS PART WAS SHORT BUT THE NEXT ONE WILL BE LONG AND I HAVE SOME REALLY GOOD SURPRISE COMING IN THE NEXT PARTS. I LOVE YOU GUYSSSSS

Before Puppy
Long time no writing! I hope everyone’s well and stay healthy. Although I have a surgery planned next week so I’m not sure when I’ll upload another. Besides, I’ve been watching reading Harry Potter all again XD
It’s a short piece but I hope you all enjoy.
Natural-gen Reader X Aaron Hotchner with Jack
Words: 1000-ish
Tumblr media
“No.”
A short grunt and a sip of coffee. He swore inwardly, slightly blaming you for showing ‘101 Dalmatians’ to Jack who had been wanting a dog. And Jack’s been begging him for a puppy more than ever. You probably showed the movie deliberately, not that he would ask you about it.
You watched a sullen faced son and an adamant faced father. The looks on their faces were different, but at the same it was much alike. With that sullen face, Jack looked very much like Aaron.
“Why?” Even though sulking, Jack wanted to know why Aaron wasn’t convinced about having a puppy of their own.
“A puppy is not a toy. It’s a responsibility. It means you must take care of life. I’m not going to ask your Aunt to look after a puppy too!” Aaron exhaled deeply as he watched his son pouting over breakfast. “Think about what a puppy needs and what you have to do for them. A puppy needs constant care like a baby. F/N and I go to work, you go to school, and a puppy can’t be at home alone. They need to be fed, exercised and cleaned, as well as vaccinated.” Which is very expensive, Aaron swallowed.
As Aaron started to explain shortly about having a dog in a household, you wondered how your husband knew so much about having a dog. You knew Jack understood why his father kept saying ‘no’, but being a child Jack still wanted to raise a puppy just like any other child.
“Besides, you can always visit grandparents’ to play with dogs.”
You raised your brows as Aaron mentioned your parents and their dogs. It was still strange to hear Jack calling your parents ‘grandpa’ and ‘grandma’ despite you were all now family.
“But having a dog and visiting grandpa and grandma is different!” Jack tried to argue even though he knew his father wouldn’t budge a bit.
“No. No means no, Jack.” Aaron narrowed his eyes and checked his watch. “Go brush your teeth, we’ll be leaving soon.”
You silently watched Jack dragging his feet to his room to prepare for his school. You let out a little chuckle which drew a frown from Aaron.
“I just remembered how my Dad hated the idea of having a dog.”
“Did he?” Aaron gave you a surprised look, thinking of dog lover father-in-law. Never once Aaron saw his father-in-law without a dog next him. “I thought he loved dogs?”
“Oh yeah, he hated dogs before,” you replied drily. “But alas, Mum and I brought a pup without discussing him. And next we knew was that the pup had Dad wrapped around its paw.” You snorted as you remembered the time, especially when your Dad started to take a nap with the puppy. “Anyway, since then, you know,” you gestured with your hand, “it became a dog farm.”
Aaron let out an amusement laughter remembering so many lively dogs at your parents’.
“So, despite how you said about ‘no means no’,” you tried to imitate your husband’s deep voice, which failed terribly which caused your husband laughing, “having a second thought about getting Jack a pup?” Aaron just shrugged, hiding his face behind his coffee mug. “I know it’s hard to resist Jack’s puppy dog eyes.” You looked at Aaron as you heard some grumble from him. “Hmm?”
“I’m actually scared.”
“Wait, you’re scared of puppies?” You asked incredulously. You vaguely remembered Aaron chasing a dog a few times from his work, and muttering about dogs that traumatised JJ a few years ago.
“No, I’m not scared of dogs,” he rolled his eyes and sighed exasperatedly. “I had a dog once. It’s just, sad, you know,” he whispered in the last part.
You knew what he was talking about. Having a dog means adding another family member, and it creates a massive unfillable hole in your heart when they leave. It was understandable. Perfectly. But you narrowed your eyes at him.
“You’re scared of getting attached.” You stated simply. “But you have already overcome that fear, haven’t you?” You frowned and he raised his brows at you. You silently pointed to yourself as you raised an inquisitive brow.
“I don’t want Jack to hurt again.” Knowing what you meant he said seriously.
You sighed. You knew it took a long time to overcome the sorrow of losing Haley for both Aaron and Jack. Even after going through hell, they still had enough room to love you and accept you as family. You knew the hole in their heart will never be healed but it still saddened you to see them being haunted by what that sadistic man did to this fantastic man and boy. You pulled your husband’s head gently and put his forehead on yours.
“You’re strong enough to love me. Jack is the strongest boy I’ve seen. Besides, if we care well, puppy’s can live longer than 20 years.”
At the mention of ’20 years’, Aaron pulled a face. “20 years after means Jack will be in his 30’s.” The father groaned as he imagined little Jack becoming an independent man with his own life.
“Yeah, and we’ll be old,” you chuckled. You grabbed his hands with yours. “Old and still together.” You’d do anything for Aaron and won’t ever leave Aaron alone.
You pulled away and softly pecked on his lips as you heard Jack’s loud footsteps coming down the stairs.
Aaron smiled at you gently, his eyes caressing your features. “I’m gonna miss you today.”
“Let’s hope you don’t have a serial killer today. You and the community need a break from those bastards.” You huffed and you gently pushed your husband. “I do hope I see you tonight.”
It wasn’t until you returned from your work when you realised that Aaron agreed to get a puppy for Jack. Jack jumped and hugged you tightly, babbling happily about you convinced his dad. You weren’t sure if you convinced your husband however, after all Aaron seemed to have a second thought about a puppy for Jack. You grinned to yourself. When you see Aaron you should give him a big happy surprise.

Part 1- https://choicesfanaf.tumblr.com/post/673534583850074112/my-fake-boyfriend
At Shalini's wedding, Aisha, Damien, Nadia & Steve all piled up in Aisha's car to get to the venue.
Damien couldn't get his eyes off Aisha. He thought that he was undeserving of her beauty.
"How did I end up falling in love with such a goddess," he thought.
"Aisha, I was thinking about our story yesterday. We can tell your parents that we met in LA four years ago because we were assigned to the same project."
"Yeah, and I can tell them that we both started working for the same company around five years ago. But, we never met as we were assigned to different departments. One day, I was transferred to your department as a part of my promotion."
"Then, I can tell them that we were friends for a year before I realised my true feelings for you", replied Damien.
"That's good, then I can tell them that I was initially in denial, but you waited for me till I had come to terms with my feelings", stated Aisha.
"That sounds perfect."
"Do we have to answer any questions about you two?" asked Nadia.
"I don't think so, but just be careful of what you say around them."
"You guys need to tell us how your parents met", mentioned Steve.
"Oh, it's a funny story, actually. So, our parents are twins. My mother and aunt are twins and so are my father and uncle."
"They met in college and dated in secret for a while."
"One day, my grandmother saw mom with dad in a mall after lessons."
"No way!", Steve exclaimed, being purely invested into the story.
"Yeah, she was enraged.
"Well, how did they get married?" Damien interjected.
"The sisters always dreamt of getting married together. They wanted to marry on the same day and the same place."
"So, they convinced their parents about it. Originally, they were reluctant about their daughters marrying for love. But, they agreed after a little bit of explaining."
"Hadn't they placed a condition or something? I can't seem to remember that part", asked Nadia.
"Yeah, they had made a deal. If they were not impressed with the choice of their daughters, then they wouldn't agree with the marriage."
"Luckily, our grandparents were fascinated by both uncle and dad. We have been told that our mothers were joyful to learn that they could get married together."
As soon as the group went inside the hall, they were greeted by their parents.
"Maa, papa, this is Damien. My boyfriend", Aisha added, as an afterthought.
"Accha, so this is the Damien who we have been hearing about", said Shweta.
"Yes, ma'am. I'm sorry I couldn't accompany Aish to all of the different events. I was a bit busy with work."
"That's okay, Damien. What's important is that you could finally meet us."
"So, how did you two meet?" asked Adam.
“Here we go”, Damien thought, “hopefully, I don’t butcher anything up”.
"Well, Aish’s boss promoted her to my department and we were assigned on a project together."
"Ah, so it is a workplace romance story."
"When did you two start dating?", came another question.
"Almost three years, now."
"Really, but Aisha has been talking about you for around four years."
"Oh, that might be because we were good friends for about a year before we started dating."
Damien did not feel like letting Aisha out of his eyesight for fear of anything happening to her.
His fear proved true when he saw that she had accidentally twisted her foot while talking to her cousins. Before she could realise what had happened, Damien had reached where she was. He started to hover around her like a butterfly to notice where she had gotten injured.
When he realised that she might have gotten a sprained ankle, he shouted out, "Is anyone here a doctor? Aisha needs help now!"
"Damien, take her to the room next door. I'll be there soon", said Sumedha.
"Come on, Aish. Take small steps, slowly. Try to walk, please," Damien said as he and Paul took her to the room.
Aisha felt like it took forever for her to reach the room. Eventually, she got into the bed and rested her injured foot.
Shortly, Sumedha came into the room and had a look at her injury.
"It's not as bad as I thought it would be. Still, she needs lots of rest. She will need to have bed rest for at least three days. I can join you both for a week to look after her."
"No, it's alright, Sumedha. I had already taken leave for three days. So, I will be at home to look after her throughout the entire day."
"Are you sure, Damien?"
"Yes, Paul. Don't worry at all. I will be able to manage everything."
"Thanks a lot, Damien. You have shown me that you are the perfect guy for my Aish," saying so, Sumedha started wrapping a bandage around Aisha's foot.
"Hey, is Aisha okay?" Nadia asked as she came inside, worry evident in her tone and face.
"Nadia, I'm feeling much better than before."
"Aisha, rest for a while, then we'll go home, okay?"
"But I feel fine now. And I don't want to miss Shalini's wedding."
"Aisha, please don't do this. You need rest. You should go home now."
"Don't move a muscle, okay? Let Damien handle everything."
"But..."
"Aisha, no buts. Your mom and dad are absolutely right. Right now, you need to focus on your ankle, nothing else. Leave everything to me, alright? I'll take care of it."
"You all should go and enjoy the wedding. I will look after Aisha."
"Are you sure?"
"Papa, he's right. You shouldn't spoil your mood because of me. Now, go & get on the dance floor with chachu!"
"Okay, Aish. If you say so. But call me when you get home, okay?"
"Will do! Now go, enjoy! And don't keep people waiting!"
"Great job on the acting, D", Aisha said when everyone had gone from the room.
"Thanks, Aish. But your injury is real, so I need to get you home."
"Are you really going to look after me?"
"Yes, isn't that what boyfriends do?" Damien suggested while smirking.
"Will you be able to walk to the car?"
"No, I don't think so", Aisha lied, wanting to see what solution would Damien come up with.
To her surprise, he picked her up bridal style, that too effortlessly.
"Woah, D! I did not know you were so strong!" she said, making him blush.
"I guess my gym membership is finally being put to good use," he winked.
During those five minutes, Damien had to try really hard not to give in to his temptations and kiss her.
When they got back to her place, Damien gently laid her on a chair and got her a cup of tea.
"Just sit back and relax now, okay? I've got everything."
"Thanks, D. I don't know what I would have done without you."
"Ask someone else to become your fake boyfriend, I guess", he joked.
"I'm going to get some ankle braces and pick up some stuff from my place, alright? Don't move a muscle till then."
"Yes, sir", said Aisha, not knowing what it did to him.
During Damien's absence, Aisha had called up her parents and Nadia, who asked her to not do anything around the house. Additionally, Nadia assured her that she would drop by to meet her every day till she got better.
"Aish, I'm back with some pizza!"
"D, please, I'm not in the mood for it right now."
"Come on, Aish. Please eat it, or you will feel weak and tired. I wouldn't want my 'girlfriend' to feel exhausted."
Something in the way Damien said girlfriend made Aisha's heart flutter.
"Okay, I will have some, if you insist. Is it margarita?"
"Yes, it is a margarita pizza. Only the best for my darling Aish."
"Thanks, D. You are the best 'boyfriend' ever."
How Damien wished that he was her real boyfriend.
"So, which movie would you like to watch now?"
"Can we watch The Office?"
"Sure, but only two episodes. Then, you go to sleep."
"Okay, old man."
"Good morning, sleepyhead. How do you feel today?"
"Hi, D. I feel a bit better. It's still aching, though."
"What would you like to have for breakfast, Aish?"
That's when Nadia came to her door.
"Come outside, you two. I have breakfast!"
"Thanks a lot for the breakfast, Nadia."
"No problem. Anything for my favourite couple," she teased.
"Okay, Nadia. That's enough", said Aisha, thinking that Damien might get uncomfortable.
Nadia sat with them for a while before promising to come tomorrow.
"Hey, Aish. Where are you going all by yourself?" Damien asked when he saw that she was trying to get somewhere.
"Yeah, I'm gonna take a bath."
"Wait a minute. Let me set it up for you."
"Thanks a lot, D. You are really thoughtful. The person you choose to date will be the luckiest in the world."
"The only person I want to date is you", reflected Damien.
Damien knew that he had to go back to his place once she was back on her feet. Yet, he could not bring himself to think of it. He dreaded the arrival of the last day, after which he would be all alone.
Eventually, Aisha's ankle started getting back to normal and she could do everything by herself.
"D, thanks a lot for your help. I can get back to normal only because of you."
"No problem, Aish. I did what I thought was right to do. I couldn't have abandoned you when you needed me the most."
"So...." Aisha couldn't get herself to complete the sentence.
"So, I think I should get going. I can't afford to skip a single day more."
"Okay, D. Take care, okay? I will visit you tomorrow."
Damien reluctantly left Aisha's place and started walking mindlessly.
"Why can't I tell her what I want?" he thought.
After a while of deciding things and calming down his nerves, Damien decided to get back to talk with Aisha.
"D, what happened? Did you forget anything? Is something wrong?" she asked, being concerned about him.
"Aisha, I want to tell you something", Damien said, his heart racing.

✨Bad Batch E10 Spoilers✨
Episode 10 thoughts:
- OK CAN WE TALK ABOUT HOW WHEN OMEGA JUMPED OFF OF WRECKER'S SHOULDER, TECH, MY DARLING, HELD OUT HIS ARMS TO CATCH OMEGA IN CASE SHE STUMBLED OR SOMETHING!?!? I JUST- AGH S O F T
- Echo...bestie...why did you have to smell the space popcorn like that?
- I completely understand Hunter's concerns but the way he reacted to Wrecker saying that she seemed fine got me thinking. I feel like that the moment after hearing what Wrecker said and pushing past everyone to walk into the building gives us a bit of insight into Hunter's deeper emotional state. What I took from it was that because Hunter is not only a soldier, but also the leader, openly conveying deep forms of emotion isn't exactly something he's used to. Aside from his obvious worries regarding Omega's physical safety, I think when he said that Omega needed a break, he was trying to mask the fact that HE needed a break as well. After the showdown with Cad Bane and losing Omega, Hunter went from already level 10 dad to like level 1000 dad. The fear, panic, and shame that he felt during the time it took for them to find Omega must have been at such a jarring form of emotional intensity that he hasn't felt before and it’s clearly still bothering him a lot. Sure the team has been in stressful situations, but this is a completely different terrain. The point I'm getting at here is when we see Hunter push past everyone and go in alone before the rest of the squad, I think it pretty clearly shows that he's having a hard time processing everything that just happened and is doing everything he can to keep from feeling the way he did when Omega got separated from them as well as not wanting Omega to be that distraught again. (EEK sorry that was a lot, but what can I say? I love a good reading-between-the-lines type character analysis)
ANYWAY...
- Cid gives off great aunt energy. Not quite grandma. Not quite aunt. Great aunt. I have spoken.
- Speaking of Cid, as much as I genuinely enjoy her abrasive character, CAN EVERYONE STOP CUTTING OFF SIR GOGGLES McNERD-FACE PLEASE?! I just want to hear him talk is that too much to ask for 🥺👉👈
- BANDANA. DARK AND BROODY.
- omg hunter please just hug the child my god it's not that hard you both need a hug just do it please-
- Y'ALL ECHO'S UPSET FOR A REASON. You all saw what happened to him. Don't get me wrong, I love a good Echo and Tech sassy conversation moment, but maybe don't dismiss him so much? Can we try that pls? Thank you, loves.
- "Now are you convinced?" "Noooo" Agh someone please give Echo a hug, a nap, and some therapy please I beg of you.
- Raxus is pretty. Lovely forest. Nice architecture.
- There's something strangely calming about that droid's voice idk what it is.
- OoOoOoOo Cid got shamed for making Omega upset.
- Awwwww Dad misses his kid
- Good battle scene using only stun blasts (is that what they’re called? idk you know what I mean).
- Quick question: I will never doubt Tech's skills, but like how could he possibly fix the AT-TE using just his data pad without actually touching the walker? I think I'm reading too much into it, but I'm genuinely curious.
- PRO GAMER OMEGA
- Cid: "Try showing a little gratitude to my friend" awww even grouchy lizard great aunt likes Omega 😊
- I love the little moment at the end with Hunter and Omega playing dejarik, but lol wouldn't it be funny if the thing that finally makes Tech snap and lose his cool is Omega beating him in a strategy game.
FINAL THOUGHTS (and I'm so sorry that this was sooo long oops)
- Everyone needs a hug.
- Please let them process and TALK about their emotions. Please.
- Obvious question: Can we save Cross now? THAT MAN is most in need of a hug. Look I know he can be a bit of a bitch sometimes, but Dave...I swear to Obi-Wan "Space Jesus" Kenobi if you don't stop hurting him I will PERSONALLY set your cowboy hat on fire. 🤠🔥
That is all. It is past 4am. I can literally hear the birds tweeting outside. I need to go to sleep. Thank you for listening to my nerd rambling.

you closed the door to your grandmas house slowly and flipped on the light. you assumed everyone else was asleep (since it was close to two in the morning), but were quickly proven wrong as ashlyn crept into the kitchen, looking to see if it was you she heard. when she saw it was, a look of relief washed over her face and she walked over to hug you.
“took you long enough,” she pulled back and examined the stitches on your head. “you okay?”
you nodded and moved away to grab a glass out of the cabinet. “i’m fine. it was weird, though. ricky bowen hits me with a door, takes me to the hospital then takes me to his house. casually.”
“hm. yeah. i guess it’s not exactly... normal. although i’ve spent time with him now since i’m dating red—”
you cut her off. “you’re dating?!”
she blushed and nodded. “he asked me earlier. i was going to wait to tell you, make sure you were okay first.”
before you got a chance to respond, there was a light knocking on the window. ashlyn gave you a confused look and you shrugged. she moved to the window and pulled the curtain open to peek through, then opened it all the way. she opened the window.
“ricky? what the hell?”
your head shot up when she said that and you walked over to the window quickly. sure enough, ricky was standing outside in the cold, looking around nervously.
“hey, ashlyn, (y/n),” he paused. “i need your help.”
“ricky, what’s going on? i thought you left a while ago,” you said.
“i tried. there’s big vans right outside your house, big cameras. they’re waiting for me to leave. i can’t go home right now.”
“um... okay. you can stay here, we just have to figure out a way where our family won’t see,” ashlyn said, looking up in thought.
“he could stay in the garage. sleep in his car, be gone in the morning?” you suggested. ricky nodded eagerly.
“yes, that’s fine! that’s perfect! i’ll be gone as soon as possible and i won’t make a sound. promise!”
“okay, ricky chill,” ashlyn laughed. “we don’t mind, seriously.”
“i mind a little bit,” you joked. “c’mon. i’ll help you get situated. ashlyn, i’ll be right back.”
you went out of the front door and met ricky outside. he smiled sheepishly at you.
“fancy meeting you again.”
“oh yeah. this is every girls dream, right?” you said, raising your eyebrows. he laughed and rolled his eyes.
“i’ll open the garage door, go ahead and pull your car in. just be careful,” you said. you walked over to the keypad in the side of the garage. he started his car and pulled in as soon as you opened the door. you followed his car into the garage and grabbed a box from the back wall. he got out of his car.
“here’s a sleeping bag,” you said, tossing one down to him. he caught it, barely. you laughed and he scoffed.
“do you have anything i could leave in this morning to help disguise me? so they can’t see it’s me?” he asked. you shrugged and pointed to a box labeled ‘hats and scarves.’
“check that one.”
he dug through the box and pulled out an old fishing hat. he studied it for a moment before putting it on his head. “how’s this one?”
you glanced over and smiled. “perfect. that was my grandpas hat, actually. wore it when we would go fishing. cool to give it use again.”
he watched you as you spoke, a gentle expression on his face. “i’ll take care of it.”
“you better,” you laughed and dug out another blanket for him to use. “do you need anything else? i can grab you anything from inside, if you need it.”
“i should be okay,” ricky smiled. “thank you, though. i seriously appreciate it. i’ll be gone before you know it.”
“no problem. thanks for driving me around today. sleep well,” you smiled at him and paused, before nodding and leaving the garage.
“got him settled in okay?” ashlyn asked as you came back into the house.
“mhm. he’ll be fine,” you resumed filling up the glass you had pulled out earlier. ashlyn watched, her eyebrows raised.
“you guys friends?”
“i just met him today. we get along fine but i don’t think you’d call us ‘friends’.”
“hm. alright,” she glanced at her phone. “i’m gonna head to bed. you should too, it’s late. and we’re going to the beach tomorrow!”
you hummed. “yup, i’m excited to meet big red for real this time!”
“he’s excited to meet you! although he will probably ask you a bunch of questions about tonight. be warned.”
“oh, i can’t wait,” you laughed sarcastically.
Tumblr media
the next morning, you woke up with no one else in the bedroom. you stretched, got out of bed, threw on a sweater and left your bedroom. you found everyone except your grandma sitting at the kitchen table.
“morning (y/n),” your aunt debbie greeted you. “sleep okay?”
“yeah, thank you,” you said, sitting down in between ashlyn and your grandma’s boyfriend kevin.
“how’s your head?” your mom asked.
“my head?”
your mom knit her eyebrows at you. “your stitches?”
your hand moved to the stitches on your forehead. “oh! yeah, i’m okay.”
“what even happened? you were waiting in the car and next thing i know ashlyn’s telling me you’re on your way to the hospital,” camilla complained. you sighed.
“i was looking for you and someone hit me with a door. we realized he was friends with ashlyn and he took me to the hospital. nothing else.”
“what do you mean she was waiting in the car? you were supposed to be doing stuff together,” your dad said. camilla turned red.
“i had to... stop for the bathroom,” camilla lied. your dad gave her a stern look, but she got out easy because your grandma came into the room, carrying a stack of pancakes.
“breakfast is served!” she exclaimed and you all gushed about how good it smelt as everyone served themselves.
“kim, do you have any more syrup?” your uncle asked your grandma. she nodded.
“should be some in the garage.”
“i’ll grab it,” camilla volunteered, standing up from her seat. you didn’t think much of it, until you remembered the encounter from last night and realized that ricky was sleeping in the garage, and his biggest fan was about to go find him. you shot up from your seat.
“no, i’ll go!” you ran out behind camilla and tried to grab the garage remote from her.
“(y/n), what the hell are you doing?” she asked, annoyed.
“i’ll get the syrup. it’s fine. you go back inside,” you said, reaching for the remote as she moved it away from you.
“i’m already out here. it’s fine. just leave me alone, i’m pissed at you,” she said, pressing the button to open the garage. you yank the remote and press it again to close it.
“why are you pissed at me?” you asked. she rolled her eyes, clicking the button again. you clicked it again.
“i was so close to meeting ricky last night, and you just had to ruin it for me,” camilla complained.
you paused. “cam, i didn’t mean to, you know that. i just wanted to make sure you were okay.”
“whatever.”
camilla opened the garage door and before you could try to close it again, she rushed forward and into the garage. you tried to yell for her to stop, but it was too late. you looked in the garage and it was empty, no sign of ricky ever being there. you sighed in relief and followed camilla back inside.
“girls, they’re talking about that ricky boy on the tv,” your grandma said as you and camilla came back inside. camilla ran to the living room to see ashlyn standing there, watching. you followed her nervously.
“last night, nini salazar-roberts showed up to her birthday party accompanied by two people, but neither of them her man, ricky bowen. although, sources do confirm that ricky showed up to her party and performed, but other sources have said that they saw ricky leaving the party with a different girl. almost an hour later, he showed up to his house, with the same girl he left his girlfriends party with. has ricky found himself a new girl? is this girl stealing the heart of the boy we all know and love?”
you watched the tv with wide eyes. you and ashlyn made eye contact, both of you with the same worried expression. camilla, however, stared at the tv in disgust.
“i hope that girl knows how lucky she is,” she complained. “what’s a girl gotta do to get the attention of a guy she’s been a fan of for five years?”
neither you or ashlyn replied. camilla sighed and trudged her way back to the kitchen table. ashlyn checked her phone.
“oh, i should go get ready. red’s picking me up in half hour so we can go to the beach,” she looked at you. “are you riding with us?”
“i want to go to the beach!” camilla exclaimed, suddenly upbeat.
“camilla, you can take my car if you drive your sister,” your grandma said. camilla groaned.
“fine. be ready in half hour,” she said to you, then walked to your shared bedroom and slammed the door. you turned to ashlyn.
“looks like we’ll meet you there.”
camilla stuck her head out of the bedroom door. “(y/n), can i borrow your blue bikini?”
“only if i can borrow your (y/f/c) one,” you grinned. she thought for a minute.
“deal.”

HomeTown Part 2
Sebastian Stan x F!Reader
Summary: You and Sebastian go visit your family for Christmas and share a big announcement but Sebastian has an announcement of his own.
Warnings: Fluff?
Part 1
Tumblr media
You followed behind Sebastian in the airport as he dragged you to the end of the gate like you had done a little under a month ago. It was the day after new year's and you were back in your hometown. You spent Christmas day and new year's with his mom but still wanted to have a Christmas celebration with your family. "Babe!! Slow down!" You wined as he walked faster. You found this amusing. In the week you had stayed before he got close with your oldest niece and your oldest two nephews, converting both boys to team cap. Jon said he'd bring them when he came to pick you up because he found this just as sweet as you did.
"But. I want to see them!" He pouted causing you to laugh.
"I know but they ain't going no where." You said walking beside him. "See they are right there." You pointed at the three teenagers running over to you their dad/uncle standing filming the reunion.
"Auntie y/n! Seb!" They said giving Sebastian a gig before you.
"You stole my niece and nephews!" You pout at Sebastian who just laughed.
"Don't worry Auntie y/n your still our favorite." Samantha reassured. You smiled shaking you head.
"Hey! When will I get a dang hug!" Jon shouted from where he was standing a pout evident on his face. Your ran ahead of your boyfriend and the kids to give your brother a hug.
"Happy New Year Bro." You said laughing as you pulled out to go to luggage claim.
"Happy New Year Sis." He smiled at you wrapping an arm around you while his kids and nephew began to talk Sebastian's ear off about what happened since they last saw him. "So Colleen said your might have big news come on tell your favorite brother!" He said.
"Goddammit Colleen." You mumbled. "We don't have big news." You lied as you made it to the luggage claim. Sebastian pulled both bags off passing yours to you.
"Oh.." Jon said.
You guys made it to the car and began the drive to town. "Sebastian how's filming falcon and the winter soldier?" Jon asked keeping his eyes on the road.
"It's going good!" He said. You leaned on his shoulder.
"Any spoilers you can tell us?" Grayson asked looking back from the front seat where he sat.
"You have to wait till the show comes out." Sebastian said.
"Come on, please?" Samantha begged.
"No."
Samantha rolled her eyes leaning back in her seat pouting.
"Why do you want to know spoilers anyway?" Jon asked the three teens.
"So we can sell that information to the people at our school. We're already popular because our aunt is Y/n L/n but being able to tell them things about Falcon and the Winter soldier would bump up our street cred." Jaxon said proudly.
"Your using us for street cred?" You asked.
"Yeah!" Grayson told you sitting back in his seat properly
"They can't use me for street cred I'm not officially part of the family." Sebastian smirked at you.
"A photo of them bombarding you with questions went viral." Jon reminded him.
"Oh yeah." Sebastian said laughing a bit.
"Did you guys bring presents?" Samantha asked.
"Yes but you have to wait till tomorrow." You said giving her a pointed look.
"Please?" The three teens said giving you puppy dog eyes.
"Yeah come on why can we give them the presents today?" Sebastian asked. He knew why.
"You know why babe." You rolled your eyes. You had a big surprise for your family, and your nieces and nephews were gonna help you pull off telling the adults. But of course you got them normal presents as well.
"You guys hiding something?" Jon asked you raising an eyebrow at you through the rearview mirror.
"No." You laughed as Jon pulled into your parents drive way. You saw your nieces and nephews playing with different toys they had probably gotten for Christmas. "Let's see if they prefer you over me as well." You joked to Sebastian as you got out. Your nieces and nephews walk toward the pair of you besides Griffin and Oliver.
"Auntie y/n!" Griffin exclaimed hugging your leg, Oliver hugging the other while your slightly older nieces and nephews just walked over normally and gave you hugs.
"See im their favorite." You referred to your youngest nephews as you picked them both up setting them on opposite hips you stuck your tongue out at Sebastian smirking.
"Good job Dragoste."
"What does that mean?" Griffin asked him.
"It means love." Sebastian said.
"Dragoste! Cool!" Griffin giggled smiling at him.
"Why do say dragster and not love?" Oliver asked him as you guy went to the trunk of the car.
"Because if I just called your aunt love. It wouldn't be as special." Sebastian smiled at them before he pulled the suitcases out of the car because your hands were occupied.
"Cool! Dragoste I like it!" Oliver declared. You shook your head a loving smile on your face.
"Why don't you two of play?" You asked them setting them back down on the ground. They nodded running off to where Benji was playing with a remote control monster truck. "I can't believe we're gonna have one of those in nine months." You whispered placing a kiss to your boyfriends lips.
"Can't we tell them today?" Sebastian asked you. That's right you're pregnant! You guys already told his mom and step dad on Christmas. You had found out on Christmas Eve.
"No we can't." You said taking your bag from him and going to the porch where Colleen was excitedly standing on the porch waiting to know if you were pregnant.
"Are you having a baby?" She asked you smiling wide.
"No." You faked being sad to hope she'd not bring it up any more.
"Oh.. Sorry." She frowned hugging you.
"It's all good." You assured trying to hide the amusement on your face. Sebastian on the other hand didn't even try he just smiled.
"Don't worry it took me and Jon a little to get pregnant." She said pulling out of the hug.
"When you did get pregnant you had twins. I don't think we're ready for twins." You joked as the three of you began to walk inside.
"I think we could handle two." Sebastian spoke up. You rolled your eyes smiling.
"You could get your own Jax and Sam." Colleen said.
"Colleen... I used to baby sit them you do remember all the trouble they caused? Especially if you threw Grayson in the mix I don't think I'm ready for that." You said before you entered the living room deciding to pause the conversation since the rest of your family was waiting there.
"Hey mom!" You hugged her, "wassup dad." You said after you pulled out of the hug with your mom hugging him next. You mom brought Sebastian into a hug while you hugged your dad. After you hugged your parent you ran over and jumped on your three brother who you had yet to greet. "Hi!" You smiled at them sweetly before they pushed you on the floor.
"You okay dragoste?" Sebastian asked helping you up giving your brothers a playful glare.
"I've had worse. Now where the baby?" You asked Justin.
"You haven't even let us say hi yet and your already asking about Nora." Justin said rolling his eyes.
"Justin she's done this every year since she was eighteen why are you surprised.
"She's in the playpen in your room cause it was the quietest place to put her." Liz answered walking into the living room, Oliver on her hip eating fruit snacks.
"Okay!" You and Sebastian said the same time before you guys made your way up stairs hearing your family laugh.
"We're gonna have one of these soon." Sebastian said when the two of you made it to your room looking in the play pen where a peacefully looking baby slept.
"Yea..."
---
It was the next morning, you sat in the living room presents under the tree that your mom kept up just for this late Christmas celebration. You brothers and their families weren't here just yet so you and Sebastian were talking with your mom and dad.
"Jax and Sammy have been telling us all about your roll with marvel." Your dad told him smiling.
"Really?"
"They are big fans of your character Barney." Your mom said. You began cackling.
"Barney barnes." You teased him.
"I-its bucky... Barnes." Sebastian corrected politely.
"Where's the presents!" You hear Griffin exclaim dashing into the living room, Levi and Jasper close behind him. Grayson walking in grumbling about how it was to early.
"They're under the tree. Find the ones with your names it your each have two." You directed them, the younger three boys of the four all dashed to the tree looking at each of the presents even though Griffin couldn't read.
"Grayson help Griffin find his." Mike said before he came and sat down in between you and Sebastian pushing you two apart. "Hi, did you guys get me any presents?" He asked as his wife walked in smiling at her sons.
"Yeah go join them finding them." Sebastian said. Griffin moved to the coffee table with his two presents.
"Okay one of those is from me one of those is from Seb."
Griffin smiled wide ripping open the present Sebastian picked out for him. It was a kid's remote control car.
"Cool!" Griffin exclaimed. Levi was the next to settle down with his presents he opened the one you picked out, finding a new football since Levi played Football. (american)
"Cool! Thanks!"
Griffin ripped open the one you picked out, revealing a Tigger stuffed animal. Jasper and Grayson sat down next to their younger brothers before griffin ran over to his mom begging her to open the car. Jasper opened his first present getting a nerf gun from Sebastian.
"Awesome! Thank you Seb!" Jasper said a big smile on his face.
"Told you he'd love it." Sebastian said to you.
"I said his parents wouldn't not that he wouldn't." You rolled your eyes at him.
Grayson opened his first present the one from Sebastian to see a empty box. "Uh... Thank you?" Grayson said looking at him confused.
"Did you really wrap a empty box! I thought you were joking!" You said reaching over Mike to smack Sebastian.
"Sorry!" Sebastian laughed. "Don't worry your actual present should be near the back of the tree." He told your nephew who was frowning.
Levi wrapped the present from Sebastian open it also revealed a nerf gun. "Dude! Cool! Come on Jasp! Nerf gun battle!"
"Wait I have one more." Jasper said unwrapping the present from you, it was the next book in the series he was reading. "Thank you!" He said before running off with Levi their nerf guns in tow toward the Mitch to probably get scissors to open it with.
Mike got up from his seat to "help Grayson find his present" he actually went to find his own presents. Grayson went back to where his other present was sat with his actual present from Sebastian. He opened it again revealing a nerf gun. Sebastian was setting up a nerf war for all your older nieces and nephews which is why Griffin didn't get one.
"Oh cool! Thank you!" Grayson said before opening the one from you, which was a x-men comic book he wanted. "This was the one I wanted! Thanks Auntie Y/n!" He said getting up to hug you. You smiled hugging him as mike sat back down next to you his two presents in his hands. These were both from you because Sebastian didn't know what to get your brothers.
Grayson found himself a seat next to your mom and dad opening his comic. You watched as your brother opened his present to get a gag gift, it was a tradition you and your siblings each had to give each other the most random or useless thing you could find at the dollar store since this started when you were 6 and only had a dollar.
"Wings? Really?" You nodded before Kristina passed you a box.
"Ooh my gag gift!" You said ripping it opened to reveal a good job cone. "Oh thanks." You laughed. Sebastian looked at it confused.
"What's the point of these gifts?" Sebastian asked.
"There is none it's a tradition, Y/n started when she was five. There's only two rules no one can help you pick the present out and it has to come from Dollar tree." Kristina explained.
"To avoid inappropriate gifts being opened while the kids are around." Mike added.
"Okay if I had known what was in that box I wouldn't have opened it!" You said.
"Matt put don't open around the kids! GAG gift!!" Mike said.
"Yeah in tiny ass letters!" You said. Sebastian looked at you guys confused.
"Whatever." Mike said opening the next gift. "Thank you." He said giving you a really look holding up the T-Shirt that said "I have a badass baby sister yes she got me this shirt."
"You're most welcome!" You said smiling at him. Kristina rolled her eyes at you two going to grab her own presents you got her.
----
Soon the rest of your brothers and their families were there, the older kids were having a nerf gun battle outside with Sebastian since he obviously bought himself a nerf gun too. The younger kids were inside playing with the other toys they had got. Your brothers were wearing the matching fairy wings you got them as their gag gift. While their wives and you were talking. You had Nora on your lap.
Sebastian walked in a nerf bullet stuck to the center of his forehead. "Babe you have something on your forehead." You said laughing.
"They teamed up on me." He grumbled pulling it off before taking a seat next to you and stealing Nora from your lap. "Can we do it now?" He whispered to you.
"Yeah go wrangle the big kids." You said taking Nora. "If you excuse us we have a surprise that the kids are going to help us pull off.. So get your butts outside to wait for us." You said to the adults in the room. They rolled their eyes walking out with Sebastian.
"Okay kiddies! Come on!" You said the little kids looked at you. "I'll give you guys lollipops." The kids jumped up running up the stairs. "Slow down! Your parents will kill me if you fall down the stairs." You said.
Once up stairs you got upstairs you got Griffin, Oliver, and Nora in their shirts while Leo got into his on his own. Sebastian and the older kids barreled into the bedroom after.
"What are we doing?" Samantha asked.
"You guys are going to have a new cousin! And if you get these shirts on you'll help us tell your parents and Granny and pap." Sebastian explained.
"Cool!!" Hazel squealed. Your nieces and nephews celebrated a bit and gave you hugs before you sent them each to a different room upstairs to change while Sebastian watched the ones already you got into your shirt that said right over the belly where your baby was: GrandBaby #14. Your nieces and nephews had shirts that say Grandbaby #1-13. You made it t your room and everyone was ready.
"Okay line up in number order. Griff stand right next to Sebastian when we get out side. Oliver stand next to Griff and so forth." You explained. Sebastian would be holding Nora and standing next to you.
You all made it outside and still in line.
"What?" Your dad asked.
"Read the shirts!" Violet exclaimed.
"Grandbaby... 14?!" Colleen looked at your shirt squealing.
"No way!" Elizabeth said.
"What? 14 kids? There's only 13.." Justin said not getting it.
"Your pregnant?" Your mom asked you.
"Yep!" You and Sebastian said at the same time.
"You told my kids before you told me? I thought I was your favorite?" Justin said mocking offense.
"Your a blabbermouth if we told you everyone would've known." You said as your mom come over hugging you then hugging Sebastian as the kids ran off to play. Your family finished giving you both hugs. Sebastian handed Nora over to Mike before he reached in his pocket. You were looking away at Hazel and Violet.
"Y/n look." Kristina said. You looked at Sebastian gasping as you saw he was on one knee.
"Y/n.. Will you marry me?" He asked. You stared hands over your mouth in disbelief. "Your scaring me." He whispered.
"Yes! Yes! I'll marry you!" You exclaimed tackling him into a hug. Your mom and dad smiled softly at you two while your brothers, tried to be supportive but your their baby sister they won't see you anyway. Your nieces and nephews didn't even notice. You stayed on the ground hugging for what seemed like forever before you pulled apart and he put the ring on your finger. "I love it!" You kissed him before a chorus of "Ew!" Was heard alerting you and Sebastian of your nieces and nephews.
"We're getting married!" Sebastian said smiling, the kids gasped hugging the two of you. their parents laughing took a photo of it.
"Can I be the ring bearer?" Leo asked smiling.
"I want to be the flower girl!" Hazel said as they all pulled away from the hug to let you two stand up. All four of your sister inlaws quickly pulled into a hug squealing, Justin was quick to give Sebastian a hug and welcome him to the family slowly followed by Micheal and your dad, Matthew and Jon stood by your mom who was waiting to hug you. The two men stared at Sebastian with the same look they had when you started dating or when your prom date came to pick you up.
"Dad? Why are you staring at Sebastian like that?" Luna asked Matt.
"This again you two?" Your mom asked them as the hug from your sister in laws was pulled out of and the three men gave who had hugged Sebastian each gave you one followed by you mom while your other two brothers kept glaring at Sebastian.
"Did I do something wrong?" Sebastian asked.
"They're being babies." You said walking over to them sighing. "It's not gonna work this time. He isn't a jerk like him." You said quietly to them, only the two men know what your talking about and that's how you've always wanted it. Now if your wondering what that is. It's about an ex who those two are the only ones who even know about him. It had been getting serious but you ended up getting in a fight and he tried to manipulate by proposing to you (this happened just before you moved out so you were 18) while those two were walking by and ended up "talking" to the guy.
*like who?" Justin asked.
"No one." Jon said hugging you before going over to Sebastian. "Welcome to the family man!" He said. Matt begrudgingly walked over to Sebastian.
"I like you and all but just because your my sister's fiancee I will still kick you ass... In a nerf gun war." Matt changed demeanors as the older kids took that as sign to get their nerf guns from the yard and begin the war again. "Welcome to the family Seabass."
"Ow! Come on!" Sebastian ran off as they began shooting at him.
"Watch the face! I want my fiancee to have both eyes at my wedding!" You exclaimed laughing.
"Glad you care!" Sebastian whined running around with the toddlers while the teens and pre-teens tried to shoot him.
"Don't shoots the little kids or your all grounded!" Matt warned as you leaned your head on your moms shoulder sighing.
What a late Christmas you had. A baby and your getting married.
A/n: I'm a tiny bit in love with this large family... Probably since I want a extended family like this but whatever Merry Christmas if you celebrate Christmas which since you read a Christmas themed story you probably do if not happy holidays!

Tumblr media
Chapter 13
There was such a feeling of excitement and hope for you, Natasha, and Clint when you went in to do your glucose test and have your 18-week ultrasound.  The pregnancy had now lasted longer than the one that Natasha had lost which was a big milestone.  That had led to Natasha relaxing almost completely about the baby.  She didn’t seem to get panicked about losing them at all, and she had started making plans for how she was going to actually raise them.
Discussions were had about schooling and who would stay home when they were young.  If they should hire a nanny.  If they should move away from the compound.  She made guesses about whether it was a boy or a girl.  She was genuinely excited and that excitement was no longer tinged with a fear of loss.
There was talking about turning the room that had been yours into the nursery and having it painted with a mural.  You still had your apartment with most of your things, but for all intents and purposes, you lived with Natasha and Clint, sleeping in their bed every night.  The three of you had been clicking even better than you had expected.  The close friendship you had built with the side of casual sex had blended seamlessly into an actual honest-to-god relationship.  All those little things that had made you such good friends in the first place; the easy humor, the playful teasing, the protectiveness, and trust - they all deepened and strengthened what you were creating together.  Mornings were spent dragging each other up and out the door in a joint desire to just curl back into bed.  Nights were spent exactly how they had always been spent - grabbing dinner and hanging out.  There would usually be other people around.  Steve and Bucky would come to play cards.  Tony would invite the three of you up for dinner and there would be loud debates about the stupidest things while Morgan came and brought her favorite uncles and aunts things to look at.  Kate would come and just sit on the couch eating pizza while snarking at or with Clint.  The main difference now was there was more cuddling with each other and incidental touching, and at the end of the day, you’d all go to bed together.
As you all fell into that easy intimacy, you began to think more and more long term.  It was a little scary how easy it was to think of the baby as your baby, but you’d already stopped worrying about things not working and were deep into loving the fact that they were.
So while you sat playing cards and waiting for the sugar drink to do what it needed to do so you could be tested for a disease you couldn’t possibly have due to your powers, the three of you made bets on if the baby was a boy or a girl and debated the pros and cons of having a mural of every famous archer from fiction painted on the wall, you felt like this was it.  This was your family.  These were your people.  You were doing this together.
The drawing of your blood was always a complicated affair but you were more than used to it now.  Your body fought things trying to break the skin, so needles had to be held firmly and moved around to stop your body from either forcing the needle out or closing up around it.
When you were finally done the three of you went to the ultrasound appointment practically buzzing with excitement to see the fetus and find out what you were having.
The gel was cold and it made you flinch when Cynthia squeezed it on your stomach.  Natasha and Clint sat side by side next to you.  Both of them holding your hand.  Natasha’s fingers were linked with yours and Clint had his hand wrapped around them both.  They were both looking between you and the screen, waiting for the baby to come into view.  “How’s everything been going?  No more morning sickness?”
“Nope, haven’t had it for a while,” you said as she began to press the paddle down on your stomach hard enough to make your bladder ache slightly.  “I feel really good actually.  Lots of energy.”
“That’s great.  And the baby is kicking a lot?”  She asked.
“Oh yeah, all the time,” you said.  “Always grooving around in there.”
“Well, given who their parents are, that makes sense,” Cynthia joked. The baby came into view.  Because of Natasha’s fear that you would miscarry you’d watched it turn from the weird little peanut shape to something that looked like a human baby.  As they appeared on the screen now it looked just like a baby.  You could see it waving its arms around and the toes on its feet.  “Heartbeat is strong too.  You’re doing good, mama.”
“They’re all good?”  Natasha asked, her eyes fixed on the screen.
“Yes.  Looking fine.  The doctor will have to go over the scans but it’s looking good to me,” Cynthia said, as she took measurements.
“We can find out if it’s a boy or a girl today, can’t we?”  Clint asked.
Cynthia grinned.  “I was hoping you would ask that.”
She moved the paddle around, really pushing down hard against your stomach as she moved to the side.  “Well,” she said as she angled the paddle so the image looked like the fetus was sitting on it.  “It looks like this little one is a girl.”
“Really?  How can you tell?”  Clint said, a smile crossing his face.
“See here?”  Cynthia said pointing between the legs on the ultrasound image.  “Looks like a hamburger.”
Clint narrowed his eyes as his look and his brow furrowed.  Slowly his eyes started widening and he burst out laughing.  “Right!  Gotcha!”
Natasha leaned over and kissed your forehead.  “A little girl,” she whispered.
“Mm-hmm…” you hummed.  “You’ve got a daughter, mama.”
“A daughter…” Natasha repeated, so softly it was barely audible.
Tumblr media
The three of you finished up with the tech and then saw Kelly your Obstetrician.  The pregnancy seemed to be going perfectly.  Perhaps it would have anyway, but you liked to think it was your powers doing what they needed to do.
“A girl,” Natasha said as the three of you left the office.
You took her hand and entwined your fingers with hers.  “We should have a baby shower.”
“We should,” Natasha agreed.  “Maybe Wanda or Kate might like to help organize it.”
“We need to think of girl’s names,” Clint said.  “Kate said if it was a girl we had to name it after her.”
Natasha laughed.  “And what did you say to that?”
“I thought it would be a boy,” Clint said.  “So I said I would.”
“Clint,” Natasha sighed.  “You are such a dumbass.”
“Yeah, but you love me,” Clint teased, throwing his arm around Natasha’s shoulders.
“God knows why, but I do,” she conceded.
“So I’m guessing Kate is on the list then?”  You asked, trying not to laugh.
“I guess so,” Natasha said, shaking her head.  “We should write a list.  I haven’t thought about names before.  Not since… Rose.”
“That was her name?” You asked.
She nodded and pursed her lips, trying not to show emotion again.  “Well, you can think of some now,” you said, gently squeezing her hand.
“We should write a list of all the things we still need to do.  We haven’t prepared at all,” Natasha said.
“Well, I say having the baby shower first.  Then we can see what we still need,” you said.
“That is a very good and intelligent point,” Natasha said.  “But on the other hand, tiny shoe shopping.”
You started laughing.  “I’m fairly certain we could get by with extra tiny shoes.”
“See,  you are smart,” she said and bumped you with her hip.  “And far be it for me to be all sappy and sentimental -” she leaned in close and nosed at your cheek.  “But I love that we’re doing it together now.  All of it.”
“That’s what she said,” Clint teased.
Natasha shook her head and elbowed him, trying very hard not to start laughing.  “Can you not ruin my moment?”
“I made it better,” Clint teased.  “But I do agree.  Feels good, right?”
You hummed and wrapped your arm around Natasha’s waist and slipped your hand into Clint’s back pocket.  “It does feel good.  A little scary though.  I was all ready to be an aunt.  Now I’m picking names and stuff.  But that’s what happens sometimes, right?”
“Hey, I was ready and I still find it scary,” Clint admitted.  “I’m going to be a dad? Me?  I drank coffee straight from the pot today and I’m going to be responsible for keeping an infant alive.”
“Well,” you said as you reached the apartment.  “There are three of us.  So it’s not just you.”
“Good thing too,” Clint joked, opening the door and letting you all in.  “I can’t be trusted with things like that.  I can barely keep myself alive.”
You went and sat down on the recliner, popping the bottom up so you could have your feet up.  Clint looked from you to Natasha and raised his eyebrows.  She nodded and Clint moved to your chair, kneeling beside it and looking up at you.  “In fact,” he said.  “I think it would be good if you properly moved in, don’t you?  I mean, bring all your stuff in.”
You looked at him and then over to Natasha, a little shocked.  It had only been a few weeks since you had agreed to try the relationship thing and this felt like a big jump.  Then again, you had been living in their apartment for months and friends for years now.  Not to mention if it didn’t work out, it wasn’t like it was impossible to get your apartment back.  You lived at the compound, there were always apartments available.
You took a deep breath and let it out, a smile slowly spreading on your face.  “Yeah, why not?  Let’s do it.”

Let Me Be Myself Chapter 3: Memory Lane
Tumblr media Tumblr media
A/N: this was written for @daydreamingatnight209 for Pom’s server swap.
Summary: Spencer and Reader take a trip down memory lane courtesy of their inquisitive kids.
“Hey, Mom, how did you and Dad fall in love?” My daughter asks Y/N. I snort, remembering that it started with a dare. Y/N snorted herself. “Aunt Emily said it was ridiculous.”
I glanced at Y/N, wondering what she was going to say. This was the first time any of our quints had shown any interest in how they came to be. “It started with a dare.” Y/N finally says. “Mine, to be accurate.”
“Yours?” Our daughter echoes in disbelief which makes her siblings start listening in as well. I'm surprised Emily actually said anything on the matter.
“Yes, mine.” Y/N said with a chortle as I remember.
----- Memory Start -----
“Come on, Einstein, it's just a prediction! Most often, they don't come true.” Y/N tried to convince me as I doctored my coffee. I snorted.
“You expect me to walk into there for something I know won't come true?" I hissed. My dearest wish has never happened. I wished last year on my birthday that Y/N would finally see that her current boyfriend was an asshole. “Wow, that's actually a new low for you.” I took a measured sip of my coffee. “Why won't you take Reginald?”
She sighed. “I tried, Spencer. Every time he makes up an excuse as to why we can't go.” I rolled my eyes as I made up my mind to go with her. Reginald's continued excuses are the reason I’m going with her. I’m also her best friend...though I wish I weren't friend-zoned.
“I’ll go but Reginald’s still an asshole.” I said as I added a bit more sugar to my coffee. What can I say, I like it sweet.
“Thank you, Spence!” she exclaimed and kissed me on the cheek. I blushed and thankfully, she didn't notice that my face had gone as red as my cardigan sweater. “I don't know what I would do without you.”
“Let’s hope you never find out.” I muttered before taking another sip. “Is Reginald working late tonight?” Y/N nodded miserably. He was probably cheating on her, the bastard. I’d seen him making out with his current receptionist the other night. “Come over to my place. Let's finish the Tenth Doctor tonight.”
“As much as I would love to, you and I both know he hates our Doctor Who nights.” she replied. I hated knowing that I’d be a healthier choice for her to have a relationship with than Reginald.
“Actually, who names their child Reginald? Even Elton John had the sense to change his name!” I exclaimed as we went out into the bullpen.
"Not everyone is Elton John, Spence." Y/N wearily replies as she sits down at her desk across from mine.
----- Memory End -----
“You had to coerce Dad into going?” Our first daughter asked, bringing me back into the present. Our other kids were laughing uproariously at Y/N’s recount of convincing me. “I thought coercion was wrong.”
“Honey, your mother didn't coerce me. There's actually a difference between coercion and persuading, which you’ll find out the definition of in a few years.” I said, smiling at the memory. “Besides, I got what I wanted in the end.”
"And what was that, Dad?" One of our two boys asked.
"I wanted your mother and by extension, you." I simply said as I squeezed Y/N's hand lightly to let her know I loved her. She gave me a smile and leaned her head into the crook of my neck.
----- Memory Start -----
We walked into the fortune teller’s tent. I was still highly skeptical about it. I still believe that most fortune tellers prey on human emotions, it’s a profiling turned carnival trick and that it’s not adequately rooted in science. She took one look at us, rose to her feet and bluntly asked, “When’s the wedding? You two make a lovely couple.”
Awkwardly I answered, “We’re...not together.”
She smirks at me and says, “Yet. Fate wants you two together.” I blinked in surprise at her declaration that we were supposed to be together.
After telling her that we weren't interested in a full session, we walked out of the tent. Suddenly, “Oh shit, tonight’s date night!” came out of y/n’s mouth. I raise my eyebrows at her. Twice a month, our team held Date Night, which gave established couples a chance to relax and have fun. I always volunteered to babysit Henry and Michael on those nights because I didn't want to see Y/N with Reginald.
The fortune teller came out and said, "Mr. Reid, a quick word before you and your friend leave." I nodded and went back into the tent, while Y/N went shopping since our task was completed. “You need to go to date night tonight. I'm sensing that this is the chance that you've been waiting for all year.” I blinked in surprise again.
“It’s Doctor and how did...” She pointed to my FBI ID Badge. I had forgotten to take it off when we left work.
----- Memory End -----
“But how did you two get together?” our three daughters ask in unison. I laughed. Whenever the kids were inquisitive, they were my kids. “And how did you know this would be your chance to sweep mom off her feet?”
“A gentleman doesn't kiss and tell.” I stated.
“In Dad speak that means you think we're not old enough.” Said our second son. I could see the disappointment on my children's faces. I wasn't going to share everything about what the fortune teller had said to me that day.
“No, it means I haven't told your mother how I knew.” I calmly replied. “And there are some things I would rather keep to myself.”
----- Memory Start -----
I had totally spaced on Date night. I found a sexy number that I had gotten for my birthday and hadn't worn (as Reginald hated it) in the back of my closet. It was a rose-gold colored knee-length bodycon dress that showed a healthy, tasteful amount of my cleavage (which wasn't much, thankfully).
“You are not wearing that tonight.” Reginald said as he walked by my room. I frowned, bristling at the imperious demand.
“I will wear whatever I want.” I replied, deciding on the dress in that instant.
“You look like a skank in that dress.” He said and then left to make his own preparations. I ignored him and put on the dress. The moment he saw me in it, he refused to speak to me. When we got to the bar that the team was at, JJ raised an eyebrow.
“And here I thought Reginald wouldn't let you wear that.” JJ remarked.
“It looks good on you!” Penelope gushed. “Spencer chose well.” I looked at her, shocked. “Wait, you didn’t know Spencer got it for your birthday? He saw it and knew it had to be yours.” I shook my head.
“That's why he refused to put a gift tag on it.” JJ explained. “He knew Reginald would never let you wear it as we all did. How...” I grinned, emboldened by the knowledge that Spencer had gifted me this dress.
“I told him I would wear whatever I wanted.” JJ and Garcia both beamed.
“Good.” both women remarked as they took sips of their drinks. I was drinking a piña colada and despite Reginald being an ass while ignoring me, I was having fun.
He seemed to be getting into an argument with Prentiss and Rossi when I looked for him. I frowned since that likely meant he was drunk. He'd pick a fight with Bigfoot, if Bigfoot existed, while he was drunk. “Where’s Spence?” I asked. After he had finished speaking to the fortune teller alone, I tried to get him to tell me what she’d said and my best friend immediately clammed up.
“He’s here somewhere.” JJ remarked as Reginald came up to us. This surprised me as Spencer preferred sitting for his godsons rather than come to Date Night.
“We’re leaving.” He growled. “Doctor Noodle Boy is here.” Again I bristled, this time for the nickname he gave Spence.
“No, we just got here. If you want to go, go. JJ and Penelope...” I started with tears threatening to fall. Why had I not heeded Spencer's warnings about Reginald?
“I said we're going.” he restated, raising his voice.
“Let me go to the bathroom first.” I said. He nodded and I ran to the bathroom, intending to cry my eyes out but before I got there, I was pulled into a warm, minty embrace. It was Spencer.
“Spence...” I cried into his shirt. He lifts my chin and tenderly wipes away my tears.
“F*** him.” Spencer said. “Leave him and be with me. I don't know when I'll have another chance to convince you.” Spencer murmured before kissing me on the forehead.
On a preserving whim, I decided to leave Reginald. I pulled Spencer's head down, stood on my tiptoes and kissed him just as Reginald stomped towards us. “You wore that for him, didn't you?” Reginald snapped. I gathered my courage which was boosted by Spencer standing behind me.
“We’re over, Reginald.” I said.
“We’re over when I say we're over.” he growled, forcefully grabbing my arm. “We’re going, NOW!” However, Spencer looked at him.
“I’ve been very tolerant of you up until now for Y/N’s sake. Get your hands off her before I break your fingers.” Spencer said coolly.
“Make me, *Pretty Boy*.” Reginald challenged.
“Don’t touch what's no longer yours.” Spencer hissed and broke Reginald’s wrist, ignoring his howl of pain as he escorted me away. I looked back to see cops escorting Reginald outside. When we got back to the dance floor, ironically, ‘You Shouldn't Kiss Me’ was playing. “I knew that dress would look gorgeous on you.” he whispered as he led me onto the dance floor.
We danced to song after song like we were the only two in the room. “I hate to interrupt,” Rossi said coming up to us some hours later. “But the bar’s closing.” Spencer gave me a final twirl.
“Now, how about that Doctor Who marathon?” he murmured. I beamed at him in response and nodded my head. He intertwined his fingers with mine and we walked to his car.
“Thank you.” I murmured, holding onto his hand tightly.
“For what?” Spencer asked.
“For everything. You were right. He was an asshole.” I said, twining my arms around his neck.
----- Memory Start -----
Our kids were laughing uproariously at Reginald’s wrist being broken and my admitting that Daddy was right. “It wasn't that funny.” I mumbled.
“Y/N, you rarely admit you are wrong so yes, it is funny.” Spencer said as I rolled my eyes. I was waiting for the kids’s bedtime to break some welcome news to my husband. I was pregnant again.
“What happened next?” Our kids eagerly asked in unison.  Spencer’s lips quirked into a small smile.
“Your mother broke her foot while we were on a case.” he said with a chuckle. “Not to mention the fortune cookies with dinner that same night.”
----- Memory Start -----
I fell down, my gun falling from my hands as I heard a loud crack. I tried getting up but couldn't. Prentiss directed Spencer to carry me before cautiously going into the house.  I groaned as Spencer lifted me up, held, and carried me bridal style. “How is it that now we're finally a couple, odd things keep happening?”
“The fortune teller said Fate wanted us together.” Spencer replied as he carried me to an SUV. I groaned at his answer.
“How can you be so...blasé about all of this?!” I exclaimed as he drove to the emergency room. What happened to our man of science?!
“I knew from the moment I met you that you were the woman I’d love for the rest of my life.” My eyes widened. I hadn't expected that answer out of him. “You know, I want kids.” He said as he drove.
“Where did that come from?” I asked. Spencer said nothing. “So do I.” I admit as I keep my eyes on the road to distract me from my pain.
--
Thanks to my foot being broken, I had to hobble on crutches which meant I couldn't fly. It had something to do with what Spence had done before I was hired, apparently. Prentiss arranged for me to have a ride home with JJ as I lived in the same general area. “Could you drop me off at Spencer's?” I asked, seeing Reginald on my doorstep. JJ nodded and turned around. I slowly made my way up to his apartment after she dropped me off and knocked on the door.
When he answered, he said, “What's wrong?” as he let me in.
“Reginald is waiting for me on my doorstep.” I replied. Spencer made a disgusted noise before kissing my forehead.
“When is that guy going to learn?” He mumbled. Then he brightened. “I was just about to order Chinese, want some?” I nodded in agreement. While we waited for our food, Spencer asked, “Doctor Who or Star Trek?”
“Star Trek.” I said as I realized I didn't have any clothes. Fortunately, Spence was one step ahead and had earlier bought me a change of clothes besides pj’s from the store. He also handed me a hoodie sweater.
“This is yours now, Y/N.” I unfolded the sweater to see that it was his Caltech hoodie. “I figured that bastard wouldn't give up.” he said as we settled down to watch Star Trek Voyager. We only had to pause it once in order to get the food and we ate in companionable silence.
When I took our dishes in, I saw a hastily written note taped on top of a couple fortune cookies. It said, ‘Doctor, these are for you and the Mrs.’
Mine read, ‘A good marriage requires falling in love many times — all with the same person.’ I agreed with the sentiment. Spencer’s read, ‘If I know what love is, it is because of you.’
“That is so true.” he murmured.
----- Memory End -----
“It’s still true.” Spencer replied as he looked at our kids who were making faces at us for kissing.
“Don’t I know it.” I replied.  “Not a day goes by without me thanking the Lord that you were there when Reginald tried to force me to go home.”
“Me too.” Spencer said, kissing me on the forehead, like he had been ever since that first night.
“Moom!” Our daughters said, embarrassed. Our sons groaned.
“Our love only grew stronger, Y/N.” my husband reminded me. I smile at the five kids, soon to be six. I couldn't keep quiet any longer.
“Come December, there's going to be a new Reid.” I announced. Spencer’s eyes widened at my news. The kids looked delighted.
“That’s wonderful!” Spencer exclaimed, hugging me. Then in my ear, he whispered, “Remember that time we had to share the same bed on a case?” I chortled.
“How could I forget?” I replied.
----- Memory Start -----
“I'm sharing a room with who, Prentiss?!” I exclaimed in shock. Prentiss had just informed me that I'd be sharing a room with my new boyfriend.
“There aren't enough rooms, so you're rooming with Reid.” Prentiss repeated, “I didn’t expect any protest considering he is your boyfriend.” She shrugged and I followed Spencer to our room. But I received another shock when we entered the room. There was only one bed. Thankfully, there was a couch.
“I’ll take the couch.” I said, not noticing that Spencer was behind me.
“We can share the bed.” he murmured. When I started to protest, he added, “We’re only sharing a bed, it isn’t the end of the world.”
“I thought to save it for my husband.” I absentmindedly said.
“Oh, so you think I won't be your husband? Don't worry, I’ll behave. I'm only joking.” he promised.
“I know you will. I trust you with my life so I can trust you with my virtue. Okay, we can share the bed.” I agreed. He put his arms around me. I leaned into his embrace.
----- Memory End -----
“You were the one that didn't behave.” he reminded me quietly. I grinned, remembering the rest of that night. That had been the night that the quintuplets were conceived.
“You could have said no.” I replied. I felt his chest rumble with laughter.
“I should have made you promise to behave too.” He mumbled. I laughed as he kissed my neck.
“Mom, what happened next?” Our three daughters asked.
“I nearly lost your father.” I said.
----- Memory Start -----
Tears fell down my face. I was pregnant with Spencer's child after two months of marriage and he was in the hospital in Texas with another neck injury, this recent injury courtesy of Reginald. “Hey, you okay?” JJ asked.
“What if he doesn't pull through? I can't do this without him.” I sobbed.
“Do what?” JJ asked again.
“I’m pregnant, JJ.” I said, still sobbing. “I can't raise this kid without him. Diana won't be much help...”
“Y/N, the doctor wants to talk to you.” Emily called out before JJ could say a word of reassurance to me.
Reginald’s bullet narrowly missed Spencer's carotid artery and hit Spencer a few inches below it. I didn't need to worry about him, since he went to prison for assaulting a federal agent. I was told I could visit but was warned to not excite him as he needed to rest. Angry, I went to visit Reginald.
“To what do I owe the pleasure of your company?” Reginald asked smugly.
“Your stunt. You could have killed him, Reginald. If he dies, you better believe I will be pushing for you to go to Death Row.” His eyes widened.
“I only wanted you back,” he explained.
“How does killing the man I lo-” I pause, considering my words carefully. “How does killing the man I love get me back?” I demand. “Let me tell you something, Reginald, if you ever loved me, you will let me go. Never contact me again.” I left after that. I went home, cried, ate ice cream, cried and went to sleep.
Three weeks later, I was beginning to show when Spence woke up. The funny thing was JJ had to drag me to the hospital because I did not want to see him unconscious again.
I entered his room to see him sitting up, animatedly chatting with Luke. Luke smiled and got up. “I’ll just um...” he left.
“Spence...” I breathed in relief and kissed him. “If you ever...”
“I know, I know. You’ll kill me.” he murmured softly. His fingertips brushed the curve of my growing belly. “Are you...” he asked excitedly.
“As of yesterday, ten weeks pregnant.” I answered, just as excited as he was.
“Um, love, you don't look ten weeks pregnant.” Spencer said. “You look thirteen, maybe fourteen weeks pregnant...”
“Shut up.” I muttered.
----- Memory End -----
Our kids were howling with laughter at my telling daddy to shut up.  I laughed too because it had been funny.
“I was right after all though.” Spencer said as he held me in bed after we’d gotten the kids to bed. “Five children...”
“I’d never been more terrified in my life than I was at the moment we found out I was pregnant with quintuplets.” I muttered. Well, that was a lie. I had been so petrified at the idea of raising Spencer's child on my own if he died. There was no way I could have raised all five on my own.
----- Memory Start -----
“Ready to see our baby, Einstein?” I asked Spencer the day of my second ultrasound. Spencer smiled at me and nodded as he tenderly tucked a lock of my hair back into place behind my ear. I noticed Spencer’s enlarged eyes and shocked expression first before hearing the doctor’s words.
“That would be babies, Mrs. Reid.” the doctor dryly stated as he looked at the ultrasound screen . Both Spencer and I stared at the screen in shock.
“Babies?!” I repeated dumbly, seeing a pair of fetuses on the screen.
“I was only joking! Do twins even run in your family?” Spencer exclaimed and then asked. In fact, yes, multiples did tend to appear on both sides of my family.
“They do, Spence.” I said softly. “At least they’ll have each other growing up.”
“Looks like quintuplets.” the doctor informed us. Both Spencer and I paled. That meant a high risk pregnancy.
----- Memory End -----
Pulled out of my reminiscing by Spencer's lips on the top of my head, I took a look at the ultrasound photo. “Seven, Einstein. There's possibly twins in here.” I said as I pressed his palm to my still flat stomach.
“I’m glad I accepted your dare, Y/N. Happily married to the woman I love and adore more than my own life with seven kids to boot.” We were both wrong. Later, we would find out, much to JJ’s and Garcia's amused delight, I was pregnant with triplets so we had eight energetic, bright, and happy children.
“Now will you tell me what the fortune teller told you?!” I asked in exasperation. Spencer smiled. “And don't give me that ‘A gentleman never kisses and tells’ shit you gave the kids earlier.”
“She told me that I needed to attend Date Night the night that we got together.” Spencer said, shocking me as he drew patterns on my tummy with the pad of his finger. “Why, do you regr...”
I put a finger to his lips and remarked, “If you love me, Spence... don't ever finish that sentence.”
“Your wish is my command.” Spencer said, kissing me tenderly as one of our babies kicked.

Whoops! Wrong Way 7/8
Summary: Peter has been living at Avengers Tower for 2 years, known to the workers and Avengers as Peter Parker-Stark-Rogers.  When his teacher announces that they're going on a field trip to Avengers Tower, or SI,  he's going to have to attempt to survive a day of embarrassment and keeping a secret identity.
Words: 2278
“Parker!” Flash calls from across the hallway, “you. Here. Now.”
Peter quickly walks over to Flash, peering cautiously around the hallway in a search for cameras. Flash seems to realize what he’s doing and also looks for cameras. Upon spotting one he grabs Peter and throws him into an empty storage room with no cameras. “What the heck was that in there?”
“W-what? What are you talking about?” Peter stutters.
“You know what I’m talking about! That stunt you pulled with the Avengers? Making everyone think that they know you and with the Avengers? Making everyone think that they know you and have some sort of training with them. I’m not falling for it. You better fess up now or you’ll regret it.”
“Flash, I- I really don’t know what you’re talking about.”
“Fine then, have it your way, Peter.”
The first hit comes, causing Peter’s spider-sense to flair up. Warning! incoming  hit, face. But he can’t do anything about it. From there, each hit comes one after another. Finally, when Peter’s slumped up on the floor in a fetal position, Flash decides he’s done. “Have fun missing out on the rest of the trip, Peter,” he says, leaving the room.
I… I just have to ask FRIDAY for help. She’ll send help. “F-FRIDAY?” Peter says to the ceiling.
“What do you need, MiniStark?”
“Can you ask MJ or Ned if they can meet me in whatever room this is? Tell them discreetly and make sure no one sees them leave.”
There’s a pause and for a second Peter thinks he’s doomed to lay here until his healing gives him enough strength to find someone. But then, he hears FRIDAY’s voice, “they have been informed and are coming your way.”
“Thanks FRIDAY” he manages to say before blinking once… twice… then, darkness.
___
“Ter…? Eter…?” what? What’s the noise, Peter thinks to himself.
“Peter, can you hear us?”
Slowly, he opens his eyes, quickly moving his hand up to shield himself from the bright lights. “Shoot, FRIDAY can you dim the lights please?” he hears MJ say before the light in the room seems to go to a darker glow, allowing him to open his eyes again. He looks around. In front of him are his two best friends. “Guys? What happened? How long was I out?”
“Only for about 30 minutes. FRIDAY alerted us that you were hurt and needed us. The intern lab part of the tour is almost over, are you okay?” “I, uh… I guess? I think so.”
“What happened?”
“I… it was… nothing I just…”
“It was Flash wasn’t it?”
He sighs, “yeah.”
“Y’know, Stark’s going to kill him.”
“NO! Please, no. Dad can’t know. He will kill him and I can’t deal with that. People will find out about my relationship with the Avengers and then they might figure out that I’m Spiderman and I don’t want to deal with that. Once I graduate and I finally decide it’s okay, I’ll reveal my identity. Until then I just want to be me, Peter Parker. Ordinary kid who might’ve sort’ve gotten accidentally bit by a radioactive spider.”
“I know Peter, but… I think he might already know. FRIDAY?”
“Boss and SSMWP (Star Spangled Man with a Plan) have already been alerted. Baby Monitor Protocol, Baby’s Gotta Boo-Boo has been activated.”
Peter groans, “I’m surprised they’re not here already. They’re probably working on getting Mr. Harrington fired and Flash expelled and took off recommendation for any good college in the country.”
“He deserves it. But we need to get back to the class, do you think you can walk?” Slowly, Peter uses the wall and MJ to stand up. He takes a single step forward, testing his ability to walk. Finally, when he realizes he’s able to walk, he lets go of MJ and takes a few steps on his own. He spreads his arm out and does a quick spin to face them, waving his hands almost as if to say “ta da”. “Great, you can walk ya dork. Guess that Spidey-healing of yours works faster than I thought.”
“Yeah, Uncle Bruce has been working on protein shakes and bars for me that increase the speed of it. Do I have any bruises that are visible?”
“You have a scar above your eyebrow and a small bruise on your arm, but that’s it.”
“Thank goodness. Let’s get back to the tour group before anyone else figures out that we’re gone.”
“Alright, but take it slow okay? We don’t need you passing out again.”
“Aye-aye captain,” he says, giving her a mock salute.
Before they leave MJ hands him a bottle of water and a protein bar. The protein bar was made specifically for Peter and helped with his enhanced metabolism and healing. Both MJ and Ned, as well as the Avengers when they were out with Peter, had them on hand. He eats it quickly, throwing away the wrapper in the trash and chugging the rest of the water as they leave the room to resume the tour.
They make their way back to the tour, quietly slipping in to the back seemingly unnoticed as the rest of the students watch Bruce give a demonstration on one of the intern’s newest projects. Mr. Harrington looks at Peter, giving him a stern look before quietly making his way over to him and pulling him to the side, “where were you, Parker?”
“I, I was in the bathroom?”
“You were not in the bathroom for 30 minutes. Flash informed me that he saw you trying to steal files from one of the rooms, is this true?”
“No, sir! I would never do such a thing. And anyways, all of the files are digital so I would have to hack into the SI mainframe and with FRIDAY that’d be nearly impossible.” “Listen Peter. You’re a good kid. Really smart. In fact, I have no doubt that when you go to college you’ll have no trouble getting an internship here. But, Stark Industries doesn’t accept high schoolers, no matter their smartness. This lie has gone far enough. Once we return to school you and I will be having a conversation with the principal as I have no other choice but to recommend you for expulsion.”
“But, sir! I’m not lying! Has nothing here you’ve seen today proven that?” “Peter, hacking into an AI and paying off the staff to pretend to know you isn’t proof. Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if you were exempt from any chances of receiving an internship at Stark Industries. Now, go join the rest of the class. We will talk about this later.”
Peter slowly retreats back to Ned and MJ, head staring at the floor, trying not to make eye contact with Flash or Bruce. When he reaches his friends MJ gives him a questioning look, “Harrington is going to try and expel me,” he whispers.
“What do you mean? Why?”
“For lying and “trying to steal SI files.”
“But you aren’t lying, and why would you steal files? Ned asks.
“I don’t know. Let’s just… try and make it to the end of the day. I’m sure Dad or Aunt Pepper will clear it up and I’ll be fine. If not, well, I guess it’s time to actually go to MIT.”
“Dude, no. You can’t leave us.” “I’m not saying I am, but if I get expelled it’s not like I’ll have a choice. You guys can still come over and we can still hangout. Just… not at school.”
MJ sighs, “Stark better be able to figure this out, otherwise I’ll fight the school myself.”
“Thanks MJ,” Peter grins, turning back to focus on what Bruce is talking about.
“... so, that’s why we now have a testing room with bulletproof glass. Now, if you guys want to wonder around a bit, just try not to disturb the interns to much and leave if they say you’re bothering or distracting them.” he spreads out his arms, motioning for them to wander around the room.
The group disperses, walking around to look at different projects and some asking a few questions. Even Flash and goons look interested in what the interns are working on. Bruce walks casually over to Peter and his group, “hey kid. Where were you? Was my presentation really that boring?” he asks.
“Nah, got held up. Although, I’m sure it was great. Did Dad sign you up for this?” “Unfortunately. Except I’m not trying to embarrass you. However, there is another… surprise for you?”
“What is it-” he’s interrupted by a voice from across the room shouting, “Petey!”
Peter turns and sees Morgan running over to him. The interns around the room smile, used to the presence of the young Stark around the labs and actually enjoying her benign around. She was sweet and their favorite of Stark’s kids, after Peter. “Hey Morgana! What are you doing here?”
“Me and Happy are playing hide and seek! I decided to come see you.”
He laughs, “does Happy know you guys are playing hide and seek?”
“Nope!” she giggles.
“Come here M,” MJ says, opening her arms towards the little girl.
Morgan squeals in delight and runs to MJ, happily being picked up and swung around a few times before settling on her arms. Peter smiles before looking up at the nearest camera, “Hey FRIDAY, can you tell Happy that Morgan is down here in the Coffee Induced lab?”
“Of course, MiniStark.” she replies.
While they’re waiting for Happy to meet them they begin wandering around, chatting with a few of the interns and entertaining Morgan. A bit before Happy finds his way to the lab, Mr. Harrington spots the trio carrying around the young Stark and quickly makes his way over to them, “Mr. Parker, what is the meaning of this?”
“You mean the child?” “Of course I mean the child. Who is she and why is she in this highly dangerous lab?” “Sure, it’s actually fine. She’s Stark’s daughter and actually hangs out in the labs a lot. With adult, or teen, supervision of course.” one of the nearby interns chip in.
“Well adult supervision or not, a child should not be in a lab.”
During all of the commotion, Flash has taken a notice to Morgan. He instantly recognizes her from different press and runs over, “Hey MJ, why the heck are you holding Tony Stark’s daughter?” “Because she wanted me to hold her, why else Flash?” “You shouldn’t be holding her. She’d probably be way more comfortable in the hands of someone more higher-class then you. Isn’t that right, Morgana?”
“It’s Morgan! And no. I prefer MJ. she’s a lot nicer than you, meany.” Morgan snaps.
At that moment, Happy finally appears from the elevator, out of breath. He spots the situation and quickly runs over to the group, relieved to see he didn’t completely lose Morgan. “Morgan! Peter! Thank God I found you all. Morgan, what are you doing down here? You know you’re not supposed to be in the labs without supervision.” “But Petey and his friends are down here, so it’s fine!” she says.
“Come here, let’s get you upstairs and get you a snack, alright?” “Yay! I want Uncle Bucky’s cookies!” she exclaims, quickly transferring herself from MJ’s arms to Happy’s arms.”
“Thanks for helping Peter, I’ll see you tonight, alright?”
“Alright Happy, see you later!”
The rest of the class, having turned their attention to the commotion happening with Stark’s kid, just continues staring. How does Puny Parker know Tony Stark’s daughter? And how does his friends know her too? Mr. Harrington, still in shock, hasn’t been able to say anything at all. Flash, on the other hand, has a bucket load of things to say, “what the actual fuck Parker?”
“I- uh, what?”
“What the fuck is happening here. First the stunt with the scanners. Then pretending to know the interns. And then the thing with the nerf gun battle. How the actual heck are you doing this?” “Maybe he just wasn't lying, Flash.” MJ says, noticing that Peter seems to be at a lack of words at the moment.
“No, regular interns aren’t able to do this stuff. Regular interns don’t know the avengers and Tony Stark’s daughter. So what’s happening.” “Flash, I really don’t know what to tell you. I’m an intern here, you know this, or should. That’s all.” Flash tries to continue the conversation but Mars announces that they now have the chance to attend a Q & A with the Avengers themselves, causing everyone to rush over to the elevator, chatting amongst themselves about meeting the Avengers and the different questions they're going to ask. Flash glares at Peter before whispering, “when we get back to school, you’re dead Parker. Especially after I expose you in front of the Avengers at the Q & A.”
Peter watches in disbelief as Flash moves back to his goons and chats with them like nothing just happened. He looks to his friends for support. MJ shakes her head and wraps an arm around his shoulder, guiding him over to the group as they pile into the elevator. Ned offers him an apologetic smile. While in the elevator MJ promises to not let Flash get anywhere near Peter while Ned comes up with suggestions to let Peter stay at Stark industries when they leave so that he won’t have to interact with Flash when they get back to school. None of them notice the lack of Avengers in the Q & A room until a door slams open by the stage scaring everyone, including Peter.

What I Thought About The Mitchells vs. the Machines
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is up there as one of the best installments of the MCU. Sure, the action and CGI sucks, and the season finale could use a bit more polish, but there is so much more of what it does right. It brings up an engaging discussion through Karli; the bromance between Bucky and Sam is incredible; Zemo's surprisingly a riot, and U.S. Agent is a character whose inner psychology is something I would like to study. Plus, the series really dives deep into the themes of race and the realistic hesitance that comes with making a black man Captain America. It's easily an 8/10 series that is worth an in-depth discussion.
But f**k that s**t, because I'm talking about The Mitchells vs. the Machines instead!
I know it might be questionable that reviewing a movie starring a predominantly white family of idiots saving the world instead of the TV series about the powerful journey of a black man taking the mantle of an American icon...but this movie is fun, alright? And yes, I'm going to spoil it to explain how. So if you still have a Netflix account, I highly suggest you check it out when you have time.
Because, random people on the internet who most likely won't read this, this Ordinary Schmuck who writes stories and reviews and draws comics and cartoons is going to explain why The Mitchells vs. the Machines might just be my favorite film of the year (steep contest, I know).
WHAT I LIKE
The Animation: Let's get this out of the way right here and right now: If a single person ever tells you that this movie has awful animation, or the worst animation they have ever seen, just go ahead and assume that person is an idiot. Because holy hot cheese sticks, does this movie look amazing!
Say what you want about most of Sony Pictures Animation's movies, but you have to admit that they nail making a CGI movie looking like it could be in 2D. And The Mitchells vs. The Machines is the peak of that style. Every character in nearly every frame looks like they could work well if the movie was hand-drawn, and I love it. I am addicted to seeing films that look 2D with a 3D makeover because there has to be ten times the amount of effort to get that look just right, what with modeling each character in unique ways to nail that style wherein a hand-drawn film, you could just, well, draw it. Not to mention that the cell-shading and certain hand-drawn elements also add to the aesthetic.
Plus, there is so much attention to details, such as most of Katie's character model being covered in sharpie, or how you can see a hint of Eric and Deborabot 3000's drawn on faces even though their black screens are showing something else. Seriously, you can listen to any criticism this movie gets, but don't you dare let someone get away with telling you that it looks awful. It doesn't. It's incredible, and I SO wish that I could have seen it all on the big screen.
The Comedy: On top of being incredibly well-animated, this movie is also incredibly funny. Like, really funny. I shouldn't be surprised since it's made by the same people responsible for Clone High and The Lego Movie, but yeah, I found myself laughing, chuckling, and snorting with nearly every joke in the film. Not every joke works, to be fair. But because of the fast-paced humor, the bad jokes are almost immediately followed up with better ones soon after. What's even better is that the writers know when to take a break with the humor and let some surprisingly compelling drama take over. And even then, when there are jokes during the dramatic moments, they add sincerity to the scene rather than take anything away. Looking at you, The Amazing World of Gumball...I mean, I love you, but sheesh, you need to learn to let a solemn moment play out.
Anyways, the comedy is hilarious. And while I won't spoil every joke, I will go over some bits that might have gotten to me the most.
Katie Mitchell: Let's just go ahead and add Katie Mitchell to the list of characters I highly relate to on a personal level (which is getting longer by the minute, hot damn). But jokes aside, I really like Katie. Her love and desire to make movies is something I identify with, and her goal to just go to a place where she feels like she belongs is easy to understand. Trust me, if I found out there was a group of weirdos who like the same things I do and enjoy the things I make, I’d be willing to pack everything I have and go to them as fast as possible too. Plus, I feel like a lot of us can relate to a character who lives in a household where people question if our career goal is something we can make a living with. I remember two years ago when I told my aunt that I wanted to make my own animated series, and her reaction is a little too similar to Rick's when Katie showed him her movie. They mean well, but sometimes it's for the best to have a cheerleader rather than a critic, especially if that person is family.
Now, Katie isn't perfect as her enthusiasm can get a little annoying at times, and her desire to leave can be conceived as a little too harsh as well. Still, she's pretty cool and serves her role as a protagonist pretty well...also, if the movie gets a sequel, let's hope she and Jude become cannon by then. GIVE KATIE A GIRLFRIEND, DAMN IT!
Aaron Mitchell: But as great as Katie is, it's this goober that earns the reward for my favorite character. At times it looks like Aaron is nothing more than a source of comedy, but he handles some dramatic moments really well. Partial credit goes to Michael Rianda for that one. Yeah, having a child actor would have made Aaron sound more like a kid, but no other voice could have fit him better than what Michael offers as he comes across as weird but never obnoxious.
Also, let's give the writer points for making a character who is clearly neurodivergent. Yet also refraining from having him be annoying or useless to the rest of the cast. No one ever really disrespects or belittles Aaron and instead chooses to work with him rather than against him. Especially Katie, who forms a solid sibling bond with Aaron as a fellow weirdo. It's genuinely sweet to see, and I loved every minute that the writers showed that just because someone acts on a different wavelength doesn't mean they shouldn't be treated any less because of it. You get that with Katie, a little bit, but I see it much more with Aaron, for some reason. And I love him every minute, so that’s a win.
(Plus, I may or may not have had a dinosaur phase when I was younger, so go ahead and add him to the list of relatable characters too.)
Rick Mitchell: This is probably a character you will either love or hate, and I can see both sides of that argument. Because on the one hand, I really like Rick Mitchell. His motivation is clear and understandable from the first set of home videos with him and Katie, both near the beginning and the end. Sure, he messes up a lot, but he is still a man who cares deeply about his daughter, as well as his entire family. He gets to the point where he would make great sacrifices for all of them, especially Katie. Plus, it's just pleasant seeing a cartoon dad who isn't a complete idiot or overprotective regarding his daughter's love life.
However, there are times when Rick comes across as an irresponsible d**k. When he does things like smash the family's phones without telling them or giving them screwdrivers for "presents," you're either gonna find that funny or you won't. Personally, I enjoy Rick and his antics, and I have no problem with irresponsible cartoon dads. As long as they don't cross the line toward Modern-Peter Griffin territory, I've got no problem with dads like Rick, who I believe has never even got that bad. Still, some people might think differently, and I can't blame them. Because after getting great cartoon dads like Greg Universe, I can understand if some people won't be interested in characters like Rick Mitchell.
Rick’s and Katie’s relationship: Alongside the top-notch animation and gut-busting comedy, Rick and Katie's relationship is what I consider the movie's most essential asset. These two are the main characters of the film, and as such, they develop through each other. And what's crazy is that they have very conflicting goals. Katie wants to escape and be with her people, where Rich just wants one last chance to have a good memory with Katie before she leaves. To do so, they first have to understand each other. Katie has to learn why Rick is so desperate to spend time with her, and Rick has to realize why Katie is, well, Katie. What I love most about it is that they try. These two don't spend the entire movie arguing and being at each other's throats until a sudden "Oh" moment in the end. No, there are actual moments when they genuinely try to understand one another and fix their relationship. It's nice to watch, and I especially love when it cuts to Linda and Aaron celebrating each time Katie and Rick get closer to each other. When recommending this movie, I'd say come for the animation and comedy, stay for the phenomenal relationship building.
Monchi: There are probably people already comparing Monchi to Mater or the Minions due to being a comic relief with nothing else to add...but gosh dangit, do I love this little gentleman. Maybe it's because I'm a dog person, but I find Monchie to be incredibly adorable, and I will fight anybody who disrespects this king of kings. Probably not physically, 'cause I'm a wuss, but I will verbally. So WATCH IT!
“HeLlO. i Am DoG.”: Have I mentioned that this movie is funny?
Rick’s videotapes of him and Katie: And right there. Rick's motivation for everything is set in stone through a solid case of visual storytelling.
PAL: The writers do almost everything they should have with this character. PAL might not have the most creative evil plan in the world, but to me, a villain can have a generic scheme as long as they're funny. Thankfully, PAL is funny. Not only is the idea of a smartphone ruling the planet hilarious in all the right ways, but Olivia Colman delivers such a great cynical energy that the character needs. The way PAL reacts to people explaining why humans are worth living is just the best, and her flopping around in a fit of rage successfully gets to me.
If I had to nitpick, I'd say that I wish PAL had more of a meaningful resolution to her character. The movie builds up that she makes a big deal about Mark dropping her, so it feels weird that neither of them really get any actual closure with each other. I'll get more into that in the dislikes, but I wish PAL had more of a fitting end than just dying after accidentally getting dropped in a glass of water. Other than that, she's a great comedic villain for a comedic movie.
PAL MAX Robots: These guys are the funniest characters in the movie. Half of it is the bits of visual humor, while the other half comes from the solid line delivery from Beck Bennett. Especially with Bennett's and Fred Armisen's Eric and Deborahbot 3000. These two are definitely the comedic highlights, as nearly every line they say is both hilarious and kind of adorable at times. And just like with Monchi, if you dare disrespect these characters, I will fight you. Because they are funny, and I will not hear otherwise.
PAL demonstrating what it’s like to be a phone: Have I mentioned that this movie is funny?
(Don't disrespect your phones, kids. Otherwise, they'll try to take over the world.)
PAL turning off the Wi-Fi: Again, have I mentioned this movie is funny?
“I love the dog. You love the dog. We all love the dog. But at some point, you’re gonna have to eat the dog.”: It's the sick jokes that get to me the most. Everyone booing Rick afterward is just the cherry on top.
Attack of the Furbies: Have I. Mentioned. That this movie. Is funny?
Seriously, if you haven't lost your s**t during every second of this scene, then you never had to deal with the demonic entity that is a Furby. In a way, I commend you. But you also don't get to appreciate the comedic genius of all of this. So I also weirdly feel bad for you.
The Mitchells deciding how to celebrate: You don't have a real family if you spend more time arguing about how to celebrate after saving the world than you do about how to save the world. I don't make the rules. I just abide by them.
The PAL MAX Primes: There's not much to say about them. The PAL MAX primes look and act pretty cool, are brilliantly animated, and raise the stakes while still being funny at times. I love 'em, but I don't have much to analyze with them either.
The origin of the moose: ...I'd make the "I didn't need my heart anyway" joke, but to be honest, it's still shattered after WandaVision.
(For real, though, this is a really effective scene that establishes why Rick makes a big deal with the moose and why he might feel hurt that Katie is willing to disregard it completely)
The Theme of Technology and Social Media: There's a theme about how family is important, and working hard on making things work is worth the effort. But that's a bit too generic for my tastes, so instead, I'm gonna talk about the equally important message this movie has about technology. Because as twisted as she is, PAL makes a great point. The technology we have today helps us in a variety of ways. It's especially useful with sites like YouTube, allowing content creators like Katie to reach out and share their voices. The only issue with technology is how people use it. Take note that the main reason why the Mitchells stand a chance against PAL is by using her own tech against her. Yes, over-relying on all the advancements around us can be dangerous, but if we're smart with how we use them, we can get by just fine. This movie isn't about purging all technology like most robot apocalypse stories are. Instead, it's about using it correctly and not being helpless sheep the second the Wi-Fi gets turned off. Which might just be the most unique thing this movie has going for it story-wise (more on that later).
The Climax: The Mitchells vs. The Machines has everything that I think I climax should have. First off, it utilizes callbacks and jokes that I wouldn't have thought twice on actually coming in handy for how the Mitchells win the day. But showing that Monchi causes the robots to malfunction turns a pretty "eh" joke into a solid case of foreshadowing.
Second, everyone does something. Some characters do more than others, sure, but the fact that every Mitchell, even Monchi, has a hand in beating PAL and her robots is a great sense of writing to me. It shows that you really can't cut anyone from the main cast, as they each add value to how they are essential to the plot. Even Aaron, who arguably does the least in the climax, still manages to be the catalyst to what is easily the best scene in the movie. Speaking of which...
Linda Kicks Ass: By the way, that's the actual name on the soundtrack. I'm not even kidding. Check it.
Anyways, for the most part, Linda seemed like a decent cartoon mom. She's insanely supportive but still has the common sense to keep her foot down, like agreeing with Rick to stay safe in the dino stop the second the apocalypse starts. A pretty fun character, for sure, but nothing too noteworthy...but the second she loses her s**t, Linda Mitchell frickin' SKYROCKETS to the best-cartoon-mom territory! Believe me when I tell you that seeing her slice and dice robots like a middle-aged female Samurai Jack is as awesome as it is hilarious. Does it make sense how she can suddenly do this? No, but at the same time, who gives a s**t about common sense?! Because this moment was epic, and I don't think I'll ever get tired of watching it over and over again.
Rick Learning How to Internet...Again: I consider this the funniest moment in the movie. Trust me, the Furby scene is a close, close, CLOSE, second...but I think this scene was funnier.
The final goodbye: This is what I'm talking about when I say humor adds to the dramatic moments. The Mitchells saying "I love you" in moose is pretty funny, but it's also a sweet moment given that this is absolutely how this family of weirdos would say goodbye to each other. And, yeah, I got a little misty-eyed during this scene. Especially when Rick saw Katie pocketing the moose. That s**t just cuts deep, man.
Alex Hirsch Voices a Character: ...That's it. I look up to Alex Hirsh as everything I want to be as a creator, and the fact that his name is on this movie fills me with joy. He's also a story consultant, so that can also explain why the movie turned out as great as it did...although there are some imperfections.
WHAT I DISLIKE
Katie-vision: What's Katie-vision? Well, throughout the movie, we get to see how Katie views the world as there are these hand-drawn elements that look like effects Katie would add if she was the one who made the movie. At times it can be subtle and cute, like when this little beating heart appears when Katie is talking with Jude and her other friends. It's when the movie is in your face with Katie-vision does it get annoying. Like showing how Katie is lying about being certain she can drive up a vertical ramp or signifying what is the Rick Mitchell Special. Even if you justify that this would be how Katie would edit the movie, it still doesn't change how obnoxious these moments can be. For instance, Monchi is justified to be essential for the plot, but that doesn't mean people won't hate him...I'll still fight them if they do, but that's beside the point.
I can totally accept this being a personal issue, as I'm sure some people enjoy it. As for me, I think Katie-vision works best when used subtly instead of crudely.
The Meme humor: It's something similar here. Because some people like meme humor...but I don't. To me, it just dates your story if you reference memes even once. Now, a show, movie, or book being partially dated is nothing new. We Bare Bears, a series that I love, reference memes, apps, and social media constantly. Yet, the show still has a timeless feel to it as it doesn't rely on those references too much. The Mitchells vs. the Machines doesn't rely on memes as much either. But even then, that doesn't make a difference about how annoying that gibbon monkey joke was. Seriously, what the f**k was that? And how is THAT the joke that gets used twice!?
Underutilizing Mark Bowman: It really bothers me how this guy barely does much. I mean, Mark Bowman is the main reason that anything happens in the movie. Because he mistreated PAL, Mark acts as the catalyst for events to come. So the fact that he could have been written out the second PAL takes control doesn't make sense to me. It's worse since I could see more potential with his character through his relationship with PAL. These two could be anti-Rick and Katie, as Mark and PAL show what happens when people disrespect their family. So separating them halfway through the story, and keeping them as such, is a huge mistake as it results in neither having a proper resolution to their arcs. Like I said, Rick and Katie develop through each other, and the same could have happened with Mark and PAL. It doesn't, making it something that I can't help but feel disappointed about.
The Poseys: These are characters I feel like work better with multiple appearances. Sure, they only have the one joke about being a perfect family, but at the same time, you can make a joke like that work. Look at Yvonne from Shaun of the Dead (Which might just be my favorite movie). That's a bit-character whose only purpose is showing how better she is than Shaun despite being in an eerily similar situation. But she works well as we constantly see how great she's doing in every instance we see her. The same could be done with the Poseys, as using a similar joke for one scene is underutilizing great potential to make an already good movie into a better one.
Plus, if you're gonna shoehorn in a romance between Aaron and Abby Posey, the least you could do is have more than one scene developing that...just saying.
Katie’s and Rick’s “Oh” Moments: I want to make it clear that I actually like these scenes. They're well written and effectively emotional. My problem is that they also happen two seconds apart. There's nothing wrong with having a character realize the error of their ways through a tear-jerking moment. It's a popular tactic for a reason. And given how both Rick and Katie are the protagonists, they both need their own "oh" moment. But you gotta space them out, as it makes things easier to see the emotional manipulation that you're clearly trying to pull on the audience. They work, but putting them back to back is an issue easily solved with at least two minutes of padding, not two seconds.
Katie’s Death Fakeout: This is one of the few instances that a joke doesn't work in the movie, made even more annoying with the fact that I could see the punchline a mile away and kept thinking, "Just get to it already." I'm pretty sure no one bought this, especially when Katie didn't look like she could have gotten killed in any way after throwing PAL. It's poorly handled and proof that even the funniest comedies have a stale joke every now and again.
Nothing New is really being done here: Keep in mind that in terms of style, this movie is incredibly innovative. And here's hoping future animated projects can take notes. But narratively speaking? Yeah, there's nothing really new that this movie is offering.
A story about how technology will be the death of us? Been there.
A story about a group of idiots miraculously saving the world? Done that.
A story about a father forcing their teenager on a road trip so they can spend quality time with each other, thus ruining the teen's chance of hanging out with their girlfriend? Believe it or not, I have seen A Goofy Movie...multiple times...both as a kid and as an adult.
Now, I have no issue with a movie's plot being a bit by-the-books, and in some cases, cliche. If done effectively, and if I still have a good time, I don't think there’s much to complain about. And there isn't with The Mitchells vs. The Machines. The problem lies with that I'll forget this movie along with the dozens of others like it in a couple years. Which might just be the biggest issue any film can have.
---------------------
Overall, I'd give The Mitchells vs. the Machines a well-earned A-. It has nitpicks, sure, but it's still a blast to watch. It might not be innovative or groundbreaking as movies like the last Sony Pictures Animation movie, Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse. However, it is fun. And when the world is burning down around us, it's nice to have a fun movie that can distract us from all of it. So feel free to log in to Netflix the next time you're in the mood for a film that is great for the whole family. You won’t be disapointed
(And I will talk about The Falcon and the Winter Soldier pretty soon. I just needed to get this out of my system first.)
