How Homestuck Beyond Canon Candy Timeline has/will have parallels with Homestuck proper around and during the events of [S] Game Over

Jane Crocker heavily aligned/influenced by with Crocker Corp. Notice how her neck accessory looks very similar to the Crocker computer tiara. There's also the circuits surrounding the button, which are reminiscent of Crockertier Jane's visual mind control effect by The Condesce.

Jane also kind of looks like The Condesce with how she's silhouetted here.

The head of Crocker Corporation on a large Crocker space ship. A ship which I would like to point out looks eerily similar to the ship that The Condesce flies around in except the forks/sporks are facing the opposite direction and it's got black on it instead of mostly red.

Jake dying at the hands of Crocker influenced Jane and coming back to life parallels with this Jane coming close to killing Jake, but stopping right before death. Same green text too.

The cast of characters surrounding this time in the comic are also similar.

We also got the whole Crocker laser beam of death being hinted at which we've absolutely seen before.

I talked about this in one of my previous theories, Jake is getting a better grasp of his hope powers; so, I think we could see another hope explosion again in some capacity out of Jake's concern for Tavvy.

I could also totally see Jake being held hostage by one of the Crocker Clones A.K.A. the Brig Boys and Kanaya cutting them up with her chainsaw (hopefully avoiding Jake).

This is more of a little side detail, but Vriska is once again on the sidelines while this massive important fight takes place because she's trapped in her own personal Hell this time.

CHARACTER DEATH FLAGS - I don't know how to organize this post and there was a lot more potential evidence to this than I thought there was going into it.

Let me preface this with the fact that the existential split between Meat and Candy sometimes seems to try to course correct itself and much like certain peoples DNIs, it doesn't want any doubles. We see this with Dirk, Dave (he died even if he ascended to ultimate self afterwards), June/J/John, Terezi(seemingly), Meenah (her other self is in the black hole with Lord English so we can't necessarily confirm death but yknow), Aradia (is just Aradia), Gamzee, Calliope (that is a whole complex situation), and Rose (if her future sight is correct, but we'll get to that). Those are the only examples I can think of at this time, but it's absolutely a repeating pattern of the universe sort of course-correcting to have only one of each of our main characters exist at a time. This, at least in the cases of Dirk, Dave, & Rose seems to be related to the ascension to ultimate self, but we can't really say if that's why the other characters only get one existence at this time.

Karkat has has at least 2 deaths from around this time, one involving Crockertier Jane as well which could be a sign of things to come.

Rose's death flag is that she has literally foreseen her death in her future sight. She is thinking about Kanaya and Roxy in the same thought process while seeing her own death, feeling full of regret (even though she's trying to repress her own feelings) about her relationship to Roxy and Kanaya. Very similar to her being regretful as she was dying in Roxy's arms. I'm also guessing the bullet that hits her will be from Jake's gun, just throwing that out as a possibility.

ROSE: Kanaya. ROSE: But... ROSE: You too, mom.

Kanaya also has a death flag here in getting hit by The Condesce's laser beam of death, but it's more of a maybe given that we see Rose's future vision of Kanaya holding her body in her arms. Keep in mind though we also had this bit of dialogue about the reliability of future sight right before we saw that vision.

JADE: dont forget im more than a little versed in future sight myself ok JADE: i dont care how credible it seems, you cant depend on that information!

Jake and Jane are also on the chopping block potentially, but I can't think of a way at this time, unless Kanaya mistakes Jake for one of the clones amidst her rage and ends up cutting through him along with the Crocker clones. The one pictured below was done by Aranea who is out of the story. Maybe Meenah's trident hits Jake somehow or something, I don't know. We also have meat Jake and Jane who are doing more okay.

On top of the parallels to the doomed timeline that was [S] Game Over, we also had Vriska say that this reality was fake and didn't matter. I'm paraphrasing and I don't know if we'll get a doomed timeline situation yet with the 4 kids still in it, but I just thought the amount of parallels was interesting & worth pointing out.

I also wanted to get this out before the next update in case it's related to the flash animation and any of my predictions come true.

Alternatively I think the flash animation will be Ultimate Dirk kick starting his SBURB home brew session on Deltritus. He probably has all the tech and narrative powers to do it based on what we've seen, they just need a species they'll both be satisfied with as the players for the session.

Do you think there's any truth to the orange = stupid/crazy stereotype? I've met a lot of cats in my life (volunteered at a cat shelter in hs) and I notice red cats do tend to have a specific personality type thats a bit unhinged and crazy, and I have one myself that fits the stereotype perfectly lol. But I also have a friend with a black tuxedo cat who has that same "unhinged" nature that most non-red cats I've met don't have. And ofc there's some red cats that don't have that. Could it be a gene that causes this personality, that's just more prevalent in red cats but can appear in others? Or is it all just confirmation bias?

First of all I don't actually have much experience in real life with lots of cats, i'm much more of a theory person. So I wouldn't say mine is a very trustworthy opinion here.

That's said i'd absolutely bet on confirmation bias. (Same with "crazy torties".) Even in my pretty limited experience i've met absolutely sweet torties, and calm and collected reds. All studies i've found about the correspondence of color and personality was based on owner reports; not a great to way to remain impartial.

so,in effect of the new hs update,I’ve decided to spew my theory on what the flowers could possibly mean. Lucky You!

theory 1: Ult-tiers.

As shown in the picture above,the colors of the flowers in this picture match up with a character from the cast,(Rose-pink,left Dirk-Red,Left [which could allude to him absorbing the Hal în lord English and fitting in with THAT theory,but i digress.] Terezi-Cyan,Left June-Blue,right ???-Purple and green,Right) with each side being Meat and Candy,for left and right respectively.

This is what I ORIGINALLY thought before the new addendum was released.

Theory Numero Dos:The. Delta kids.

OKAY. So. This is a bit of a stretch but.

As shown in the gif where Vriska smashes into the ship-

Recreating that scene when Aranea met Terezi. Last HS piece for quite some time, I wanted to do something more anime with more use of color theory. Happy 2025. I feel this is a good place to depart from the fanart of this series as I branch into making a more varied portfolio and hope to expand out to get clients and work for studios.

I think this is also the best timing because bowenstuck came out. To preference, I've made HS art since the comic's inception, fifteenish years ago.

Turns out I was counting sellove (which transcends the quadrants) so I figured an 80th quadrant.

The symbol is a pair of prank glasses, it's savory in vibe/aesthetic, the words mean jubilant + relationship and an example of this is whatever Pinkie Pie and Cheese Sandwich had in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.

I've also figured that any of these can lean familial, romantic or queerplatonic but that's going into more nuance.

Have figured romantic and familial relationships ala the quadrant system from homestuck including my take on leprechaun romance. I spent entirely too long on these but please tell me what y'all think! Info is also below the cut for screen readers. Please credit if you use any of the ones I made…

An important note: Any of the romantic ones can involve intimacy/sex or not it depends on the relationship in question. Regarding both soulmate and foundmate relationships if it is an adult and a child the bond is always a familial one. Any of the relationships can be monogamous or polyamorous. Many bonds also may start as found but turn into soul over time via white/prism or red/heart. There are also many that have both involved (such as Ben Solo and Rey from the Star Wars sequel series being both “love/affection”/matesprits (soulmates) and “we can be great together”/ambitners (foundmates).

Each bond has a hue/flavor adjective, a hex code for the color and meanings listed.

Any of the bonds can include/start as platonic feelings/friendship because friendship is just that versatile.

Matespritship (mate + esprit)/Heart: red (#FF0000) can be either soul (instant connection) or found (bond formed over time). Is flush and symbolizes “love/affection” and pertains to romance, though it shares territory with sellove due to being a symbol of love/affection in general no matter the type of bond.

Moirallegiance (Moira/fated + allegiance)/Diamond: pink (#FFC0CB) Is pale and can be seen even among family members because there is white/prism in it. It means “to have a best friend”.

Rhympatible (rhyme + compatible)/Balloon: fuchsia (#FF00FF) It is smooth and the meaning is “like attracts like”.

Starverence (star + reverence)/Star: orange (FFA500) Is bright and means a “celebrity or heroic crush turned to love”, or “pure admiration”.

Appreagnetism (appreciate + magnetism)/Clover: green (#3CB043) is lush and symbolizes “a breath of fresh air”.

Shelender (shelter + tender)/Rainbow: blue (#0000FF) is cozy and means “nurturer and nurtured”. It also tends to be very cuddly.

Gambolship (gambol + relationship)/Horseshoe: purple (#A020F0) is cheeky and means “partner in mischief”. Sirius Black and James Potter would be a good example of this, even if they don’t end up together romantically.

Kismesissitude (kismet/fated + nemesis)/Fleur De Lis: black (#000000) is pitch and means “to have a number one rival”. The spades seen in homestuck canon are…not healthy. I chose the fleur de lis because it symbolizes french royalty and a proper rival makes you want to be the best version of yourself. (The spade from homestuck I thought about for a long time and figured that it symbolizes the toxic relationships like Gamzee/Terezi or Spades Slick/Black Queen. Aka plenty on Alternia but it’s not how proper kismesissitudes are supposed to be. An example of a good nonintimate/no sex involved kismesissitude is Goku/Vegeta from Dragonball Z. One that could involve intimacy/sex should they get together would be Seto Kaiba/Yami Yuugi if the latter had his own body.)

Auspisticism (auspicious + allegiance)/Club: gray (#808080) is ashen and means “keeps the peace”. Usually at least 3 or more involved in some way, so a lot of OT3s fit into this I’d think.

Diametrothal (diamond + betrothal)/Spiral: silver (#C0C0C0) is curly and means “opposites attract”.

Romantic Foundmates (bond formed over time)

Ambitnership (ambitious + partner)/Infinity: crimson (#DC143C) is ruddy and means “we can be great together”. Another example of this pair aside from Reylo is Sephiroth and Cloud Strife from Final Fantasy 7.

This is the piece I was talking about in the last post it just took a little longer than expected.... Made it as good as I could for you guys !!! All I've done so far for omori.exe are doodle pages and one slightly janky color challenge so I tried real hard on this one 🙏 I especially like puzzy in this one!! He has a very cute little face and I love him lots 💕 I thought it would be cool to tweak little aspects of his design so that instead of looking exactly like Basil, he would look more like a previous version or like something like Shattered Omori- just different enough to be off putting. So now he has the collared shirt that I think HS Basil has in the lineup, and suspenders instead of overalls- both because suspenders look a lot like overalls, and as a callback to Rowan!! He also has pointier hair and eyes than I usually give HS Basil, more like how I draw RW Basil. Less happy with Exori because side profiles are still something I struggle with and tend to change every time I draw them, but he still gets the point across!!! Rip bro something is certainly off with him 😔

As a little bonus I did an alt version of puzzy with the color combo my lovely friend Fishy drew him with!!! A lovely light green with dark purple/blue lineart and accents 🥰 I absolutely adore the color palette Fishy has like the best grasp on color theory of anyone I've seen ever if you guys somehow don't follow him already you absolutely should !!!!!! In Another Timeline, I Found A Good Title For This Post

(page 1196-1219; timeline theories)

The pacing of this intermission is kind of unbelievable – double digit pages for the past five days in a row. With that, all four members of the Midnight Crew have been introduced, so I’ve put together this quick table showing some of the patterns we’ve seen so far. About 75% of the time I spent making this was researching hat styles.

Page 1211 was the moment I really bought into this intermission. Up til now it’s been fun, but I have been missing the beta kids. But ‘You're gonna jump to a timeline where he's dead’ has really grabbed me, because this is new – as far as we know, Acts 1-3 took place in a single timeline, where loops are closed and everything’s stable. Now, the possibilities are anything. Calling it now that we’ll learn in Act 4 that a critical earlier event actually happened in a different timeline to everything else.

Also the two of spades turning into Slick’s licorice scottie dogs between panels is a really good bit. It ALMOST makes up for the ‘jack king off’ joke on page 1197, which is probably the worst joke in Homestuck so far.

This page is another highlight! Slick literally did build this town, and it looks totally different from the green-tinged complex architecture of now. I guess this is the flaw in Die’s powers – he can travel to a timeline where somebody is dead, but he can’t choose which one. He’s equally likely to get a timeline where Slick died today as one where Slick died before ever building the town. And maybe more importantly… this page looks kind of like a color switched version of page 248, another wasteland with a city in the distance (although this new one has other planets circling overhead).

So, most likely, Spades Slick and Jack Noir are versions of the same character from different timelines, and that’s why they’re not aware of each other. In the HS timeline, the character becomes a prominent agent of the dark kingdom, while in the MC timeline, he becomes an underground criminal/architect/construction worker on a planet that probably isn’t Earth, and might not even be in the Incipisphere. A city planner would fit right in with WV, PM and AR’s civic infrastructure theme. So the question is, what determines if a NPC leaves the game and returns to the outside universe? And does this mean Jack Noir could also leave, go to Earth, and be the future character who starts off in Dave’s location and flies to join the other three?

It does seem significant that on what’s apparently an alien planet, there is so much human paraphernalia. As well as the Crosbytop and Foxworthy photo, Deuce has a Stretch Armstrong doll. Surely this planet has its own celebrities to draw from. Alchemy still seems likely – Dave definitely has the components in this house to alchemize this doll. And there is a strong suggestion that appearification and sendification could work between planets or into/out of the Incipisphere – page 733 gives a good look at the screen on WV’s appearifier, which could be adjusted to the Incipisphere with the right key. That key isn’t Slick’s spade key, but someone has it. Maybe Snowman or Lord English or Diamonds Droog (who seems a fair bit more competent than Slick). And obviously we know there’s lots of Skaian technology on Earth, but it’s now possible there could be items from this other alien planet, too. Say, rocket boards.

And as a final red string theory (‘Red Strings’ title of DD’s magazine??), Boxcars hypothesizes that ‘you've got to alter the flow of time itself’ to open the Felt’s safe (p.1218). This is a story where one specific time of day has been really important, and has come up over and over again, and now there’s a whole mansion and group of previously unknown characters whose whole deal is controlling and changing time – among other things, these people can decide when it is 4:13 and when it isn’t. Clock faces are the same on this planet as they are on Earth, and the current time is 12:13pm – also the time on Jade’s island at the start of Act 3, for what it’s worth – and Boxcars’ plan to blow up this very important clock feels significant when we know that some places are outside the flow of time of the universe, AND there’s multiple timelines here, which could potentially converge if time is otherwise stopped.

I’m out here getting my head all tangled over this timeline stuff, but the Midnight Crew are not at all. Droog, especially, has this ‘just another day at the office’ familiarity with time travel. He and his crew don’t engage in it at all, but they know what’s up, and it’s no different to knowing what type of disguise or getaway car a rival gang uses. What a fucking idiot, they’ve totally given themself away with this ‘punching me from the future’ move yet again. This moment on page 1203 looks like a stable loop, even if nothing else is – Deuce has arrived after being radioed for backup, and Droog’s trail leads up the stairs, where we know he went after being punched.

Droog and Deuce are both great characters. Droog is like the second in command who’s actually way more competent than the leader. He has clear parallels with Dad Egbert, sort of Dad’s dark mirror, with the same attention to suits and to backup versions of his clothes. Dad also has multiple backup hats, although some are in different styles (p.72), multiple backup pipes, and lots of identical shoes and ties (p.948). We haven’t actually seen a DD analog on the ominous planet – only SS (p.953) and HB (p.957) – so either Dad is going to meet this DD analog, befriend him and be sheltered by him now that he’s escaped prison, OR (more compelling), he’s going to disguise himself as an ominous citizen and BECOME the DD analog in the HS timeline.

As for CD, I just think he’s neat. I love that he’s wearing two hats and one of them is a bomb.

Last minute Papa Theories!

Seeing we’re about to meet our new Papa, I want to give my predictions after months of edging! I have three theories, with evidence and counter points and I’ve listen them in order of the ones I believe the most, to least.

Theory I: Copia’s Twin

This is a very common theory, backed up heavily by RhRn and the promotional material used for the Satanized Tour. The little glimpse of Perpetua’s face does throw me off but there is such a thing of fraternal twins. I truly think that this new Papa is a twin/younger sibling to Copia.

Theory II: Son of a Past Papa

This stems mostly from how much merch we’ve been getting of past Papas, looking at you Secondo. There is also that strange scene of zooming in on Secondo in RhRn, and we know Secondo has to have had one child during his time in Vegas.

This new Papa could also be the child of Terzo. He hs strong ties to purple colors, the Valentine’s Day promotions were extremely spicy, and Terzo had said once during tour he has a child. But this could he Tobias breaking character.

Theory III: A Resurrection

Im delusional and crave the angst that comes with reviving a loved one only to see they came back wrong. Now, out of all the Papas, as much as I adore Terzo, I don’t want him to come back. Maybe as a ghost so he can FINALLY get that happy ending, but I want Primo back. He’s already a fucked up old man, fuck him up more!

Realistic though, if a Papa was to come back, it would be Terzo or Secondo, but the fates favor Secondo. He’s been getting the most merch, such as tees, plushes, and even sightings. Terzo has been getting a rise in merch as well, especially with his gloves returning to stores with the key word “Resurrected” being used to describe it.

For the record, yes, I’m sooo here for The New Berzattos (one of my meta-theories) to include a Sydcarmy baby but it’s not part of my non negotiables, just Sydcarmy sex is, whether it’s with reproductive ends or not, which if you listened to the pod before accusing me of baseless stuff and spread that awful misinformation about me in the fandom, you’d know.

TBH we don’t have statistics of how many WOC are part of our audience exactly because we don’t ask, for us everyone is the same and as important, and I’m not just talking about race, this equality we stand for extends to sex, genre, nationality, age (MDNI), etc. We have always rolled that way, even before the pod or the community, when we just did watch parties, and our audience has always grown, because if you listen to our podcast it’s pretty clear what we stand for. You mentioned several times you don’t bc I come across as shady IN MY BLOG, not on the pod.

One of the things we don’t stand for is discrimination in any way, shape, or form (or color). And another thing we do not stand for is bullying/smearing.

I have plenty of opinions about Ayo’s hair that I’d love to run by you, and then if you allow me, I will share them on the podcast, and if you don’t allow me, I will share on my personal blog as I always have, because censorship is another thing I don’t stand for, especially if it’s based on the color of my skin. Now fashion-wise, forget it, I’m all about my way or the highway and my blog is obviously my playground where I talk about fashion in general, not just Ayo’s and I admit, I hated some of her choices in the past and have been vocal about those both on the pod and in my blog, because that’s the point. Also Fairy has been opinionated about it, ofc, but because she’s a WOC, according to your standards, she has the right to, I do not. I believe I can talk about braids as much as I want to, I don’t need the authorization of WOC to touch that subject, it’s not offensive unless you twist it and turn it to make it so. In the same way WOC can talk about straight hair. But again, my standards and yours are different. And another difference between you and me is that I love those differences, I encourage ppl to talk about them on the pod or wherever they wanna express themselves. Maybe you should self-reflect on why you feel so touched or offended by any of those things and reconsider if you really wanna silence me because, according to you, I’m not a WOC.

I’m not even sure how can you reframe all of that about hair and make it sound like racist or tone deaf to WOC, but like I said, please come to me if you have these concerns about my discourse, do not triangulate, do not attack the pod, which is made with love and respect, has always been actually and that is why is doing so well, and do please feel free to not participate in the community if you don’t feel welcomed there. I’d welcome you, it’s public, you can join, leave and re-join whenever you want, but then again, based on all the venom you talked about me behind my back, maybe my words mean nothing to you. Hihiii!!! Ehhhh life’s been life ig 💀 Summer break for me so I feel like I have absolutely nothing to do all summer since literally nobody is hiring 😭😭😭 Literally so many super walkable places and all of them wanna not hire me

I have another year of hs bc my transcripts wanted to be stupid my fresh year so not super looking forward to that, but it let me figure out what I wanted to do another year. Didn’t make my goal on the sat retake💔💔 it’s fine I mean objectively I got a pretty great score and jumped my math from a 630 to 710 but I got so close to a 1400 so it’s idk :P I’m not retaking it again tho so that’s just gonna be my score, it’s well within the upper range of accepted scores for my top school so I think I’ll be okay but it’s a little disappointing to get 10 points below your goal

I tend to get rlly sad over the summer lowkey, so I’ve been fighting off that cause I just get so much more time in my own head, and also trying to stay creative. I’ve been working on a DnD setting I’m really excited for though, first two campaigns are gonna be 200-800 years in the past of the main campaign I’ve been working on, and they’re gonna impact a lot of things in the main campaign but also you can see how the world changes over time and it’s gonna be really cool

Working on Kian making him his own main character!!! It was always supposed to be the plan to have Kara and Kian to both have separate narratives independently from each other, with Kian being more heroic and Kara being a darker story but then I only focused on Kara and left Kian behind so I’m bringing his story up to the same level of thought. STILL haven’t finished their rp blogs yet but I’m gonna eventually I need more colored art for Kian

Day 12!

Saw a video where someone made a painting but started with a deep orange skin tone (looked pale one the other colors were painted on) and thought to myself :0 I wanna try that! So, uh, I tried it but with a dark pink skin tone and then built the rest off of that. This one deffo looks more interesting than the blue Gojo I made, and I think that's because I wasn't scared of having really dark darks this time. ✨️ Contrast ✨️

I'd love to be able to know how color theory works, but I've associated learning about colors with boredom after having three hs art classes assign me basic coloring pages hw that were no different from the ones I learned in first grade... for weeks. So many days spent learning nothing new smh

Anyways, no lore for this one, but for some reason I feel like Yuji would have the codename "Laughing Fox" since he's naturally a cheerful and friendly person.
