The rage does not exist when it’s about Tae, it’s always some excuse and some big account saying “they choose this and that” shifting everyone’s attention. I refuse to believe an artist doesn’t want to reach as many people as possible, I refuse to believe they wanna get blatantly sabotaged by their own company (even worse when they’re enlisted and they can’t do anything or even see it).

This most streamed song record is revealing their true faces too, it’s not that they don’t wanna stream, it’s that they don’t want Taehyung to get the record and that’s so obvious right now. Their ego is too big to let another group get that record and they will move only when they will see another way to get that and ignore Tae.

AU WHERE EVERTHING IS THE SAME except jaune has his grandpa's old grimm gun instead of his great grandpa's sword. his new weapon is an extremely ornate double barrel rifle chambered in 700 nitro express. as a result no one can tell that jaune doesn't know what he's doing since everything just goes down in one shot. (unless it doesn't have aura then it becomes mist) how are things different now that jaune knows the ultimate technique, GUN!

I had to do some research on this, but holy cow, am I glad I did!

First of all, let's talk design. I'm imagining a sort of white wood stock and grip with the Arc family crest on the butt and an ornate carving of Beowolf or an Ursa being shot.

Now, as for power, this thing has some kick! Like, I'm imaging it like that scene RWBY Chibi when Ruby uses a gravity round and launches herself backwards. Now imagine Jaune doing that every. Single. Time! At least in the first season. Later on, he builds up some shoulder muscles to compensate. Eventually, he gets to a point of tagging multiple targets in just a few seconds.

I should also mention these rounds are normally carried by safari guides because this thing will put down just about anything it hits. Like, if something is shot with it, the meat will be ruined and just about any trophy will be too damaged to be restored by a taxidermist.

Plus, as an added bonus, when Jaune and Ruby meet, her line is a bit different.

Honestly, it should be possible to criticize queer media over something that is actually deeply badly written and goes into harmful cliches. I do not mean "small nitpicking", I mean things I see go wrong happen in real life bleeding over into queer shows. And with critizing I don't mean harassing people, I mean criticizing it with all the right tags attached so that people can filter.

Just because something is queer does not mean its perfect. If there is blatant, open ableism in it, or it blatantly claims abuse is not abuse if its two people of the same gender, it should be possible to point out how that is flawed.

No, people seeing these things in media will not automatically repeat them in real life, but queer communities have issues, and these issues reflect in queer media.

It goes into this dangerous idea of "I am of x minority, so everthing I ever do is always right and justified"

Actually, may I go even farther and say that small nitpicking of queer media is okay so long as you frame it as nitpicky. I'm a nitpicky person, a hater if you will. I legitimately enjoy taking apart shows and books I like to see how it works! Some of the shows that I hapen to enjoy are queer, so naturally I'll nit pick that as well! ^-^

I'd say that (99% of) mainstream queer reputation has merit just for existing. You can point at it in meetings and go "See! This progressive show was a sucess, so please take a chance on mine!" It might be the thing that informs a child that queer people exist. I'd say that even the dumbest, most boring, most steryotypical queer show does have a positive affect on the world.

The 1% is actually harmful portrayals of queer people. I'm not talking about bad guys that happen to be queer, I'm talking about bad guys that are bad solely because they are queer and nothing more. If you'd allow me to switch topics for a second, I'm talking about autistic 'rep' done by autism speaks kind of deal.

People will notice the positive effect these narratives have on the world, and they think they are above critique. You fools! Nothing is above critique. Both about how the portrayal of queer people could be even better, and how it could be better written.

Another hard truth people on the internet can never get: you can be part of a minority group and be bigoted to that same group. Lesbians can be biphobic, transphobic, hell! they can even be lesbophobic themselves. Disabled people can be ableist, POC can be racist, it continues.

Everyone talks about internalized homophobia, but externalized homophobia is very much a thing. Just because you are part of a minority group doesn't mean you are a perfect ally to others in the same group.
