I talked about it before, but I was in high school when the idubbz slur era was at his peak. He basically gave a pass to edgy high school boys to say the n word freely, I personally saw this. My friend's annoying ass cousins were idubbz fans and started saying the n word every other sentence after the tana mongeau drama happened. I really fucking hated his "all or nothing" idea when it came to slurs. His catch phrase was literally "(n word) faggot" and he said that to people to get a rise out of them on purpose. He did this for years until youtube started demonizing him. His apology was honestly far too late, 5 years too late, he made a whole generation of edgy teenagers who didn't understand nuisance; not that there was nuisance, they were fucking slurs. People with underdeveloped brains aren't really thinking about "he's right, we should remove power from words" they just hear the funny youtuber say hey let's say slurs because it gets snowflakes angry

I think most normal people would go, yeah he shouldn't have done any of that. So when Charlie said he shouldn't have apologized, I lost what little respect I had for him. He seems like a people pleasing fence hopper to me, and I think his opinion was in the minority. Ian wasn't exactly making highbrow art pieces 😭 "spit in the face of fans" when Ian made decent at the time fancy callout videos of YouTubers everyone already hated. He stopped making them years ago, and most of his fans grew out of him. Of course Charlie doesn't care, he's not affected by these slurs. He couldn't even pretend to care and at least lied saying idubbz shouldn't have done that. Anyway I don't know how to end this penguinz0 just makes very low effort and lazy content idc I'm just annoyed that other youtubers keep mentioning him like he's some youtubing god

A short drabble inspired by Yuri and Natsuki's fight in ddlc hehe

You logged in to Twisted Wonderland as usual, deciding to reread Malleus's Ceremonial Robes vignette. Everything was going well until Leona and Malleus's argument as the scene transitioned to Malleus's groovy CG.

Leona: ...You thinkin' you're gonna get it next time? Well, sorry to break it to you, but no one's ever gonna invite you. The player's never gonna want to see you in those robes again, so just put 'em away for good already.

Malleus: ...... Have you finished being catty? Wild beasts certainly like the sound of their own howling. And they like seeing me in these too, you know. They've even added me as their home character in these robes.

That's odd... The dialogue is different. Why are they referring to you as the 'player' now?

Leona: Oh? I didn't realise you were so focused on trying to impress them, lizard.

The scene transitioned back to the Diasomnia lounge; Leona looked smug, and Malleus looked surprised, his arms crossed in front of his chest.

Malleus: Eh? That's not...

Malleus closed his eyes and uncrossed his arms, opening them again to a neutral expression.

Malleus: Maybe you're just jealous that they appreciate my appearance in my ceremonial robes more than they appreciated yours.

Malleus looked smug once again, grinning with a hand placed on his hip. Leona suddenly looked angry, his ears twitching in annoyance.

Leona: Huh?! And how do you know that they didn't appreciate my ceremonial robes more? Are you that full of yourself?

Malleus: ...If I was full of myself, I would deliberately go out of my way to take naps around campus and act abrasive towards everyone!

They both seemed to be getting heated now, Malleus had lost any trace of amusement as he looked angry.

Leona: Tch, well, you know what? I wasn't the one that magically grew 5 centimeters bigger as soon as the player started showing up!

Malleus looked shocked now, the accusation was completely unexpected for him, and for you too.

Malleus: Kingscholar...!

Lilia's sprite suddenly moved into frame, his hands on his hips as he had a neutral expression, clearly wanting to break up the fight.

Lilia: You two, this is-

He was cut off by Malleus and Leona speaking in unison, Lilia's textbox moving forward without you tapping the screen to continue at all. In fact, no attempt to reach the menu or skip past was effective, now you were locked in this interaction.

Leona & Malleus: This doesn't involve you!

Malleus: Taking out your own insecurities on others like this, you really act as young as your age, Kingscholar.

Leona: Me? Look who's talking you wannabe edgy bastard.

The screen glitched, the edges of the screen darkened and tv static played over everything for a moment, before disappearing in an instant, both characters looked absolutely enraged.

Malleus: Edgy? Apologies that my natural charisma is too much for someone of your mental age to comprehend!

Leona: See? Just saying that proves my point! Most people learn to get over themselves once they move on from Freshman year, you know.

Malleus: If you want to prove anything, then stop harassing others with your sickeningly obnoxious attitude! Do you think you can counterbalance your toxic personality just by dressing and acting favorably to the player?

The background was slowly starting to fizzle out as the static returned, the character sprites and the textbox were the only things unobscured.

Leona: Whoa, be careful or you might cut yourself on that edge, Draconia.

Malleus seemed to be much more riled up now, and Leona looked smug once again.

Leona: Oh, my bad, you already do, don't you?

Malleus: D-Did you just accuse me of cutting myself? What the fuck is wrong with your head?!

That's new... None of the characters have cursed in the game before, and now that the vignette has gone off the rails, anything could happen. Your screen continued to glitch, everything around Malleus and Leona was getting fuzzy with more static, only their sprites and the textbox was able to be seen.

Leona: Yeah, go on! Let them hear everything you really think! I'm sure they'll be head over heels for you after this!

Malleus looked surprised again, now seeming to actually acknowledge you now.

Malleus: (Y/N)...? He's just trying to make me look bad...

He now addressed you by name, well the name that you put into the game for the protagonist anyways. His tone was strangely meek, unlike that of his usual character, his formal way of speaking has disappeared, now focused on defending himself to you, until Leona cut in again, also addressing you more directly.

Leona: That's not true! He started it!

The screen glitched again, two boxes appeared in front of the characters, one read 'Malleus' and the other read 'Leona', one on top of the other as you now had a choice to make.

Which will you choose?

I DONT CONDONE WHAT ERIC HARRIS AND DYLAN KLEBOLD DID. as someone who has the same personality disorder they likely both had, i unfortunately see myself in them. when i mention these two, i don’t mean it in an edgy “violence is the answer” way. when i mention these two, it’s to promote awareness around teenage mental health. since today is the 25th anniversary since the massacre, i thought i would share some good/kind things these two boys did. this is not to paint them as good people, it is to emphasize that even good people struggle with mental health and even good people can decline terribly ——

ERIC

- in the more earlier years of high school, he had a crush on this one girl in his grade. he would often run up to her randomly, call her beautiful, and then run away

- he acted very gentleman like on dates and in the earlier stages of relationships

- he was very kind to animals

- he would help girls cheat in math class

- he was good with children. his boss would sometimes bring in his young daughter. eric would talk to her in a playful manner and voice. according to his boss, the little girl liked him a lot (eric did state though that he was not interested in ever having children of his own)

- when he lived in Plattsburgh, he and his friend got flooded in a drainage pipe while fooling around on their bikes. the friend got trapped in the water by some fishing wire and eric, despite having a huge gash on his leg, clipped the wire off of his friend

- occasionally, he did help his mom in cooking

- he would cover co workers shifts when needed

- he stopped going into work so he could pay attention to his ill dog

- he found his neighbors lost puppy once

DYLAN

- he too was good with kids. he also got along with the bosses little daughter. he would light fireworks for her to watch

- when his mother was sick on one occasion, she woke up to find an origami that said “Get well-Pegasus” made by dylan

- despite being one of his victims, he did help Rachel Scott with one of her plays. there was an issue with the sound tape and he was the one to fix it

- he used to pass chips ahoy cookies under the desks in class to make friends. when the teacher told him to stop, he would still slyly slip them under the tables for classmates

- when he hit accidentally hit someone during a game of basketball, he immediately helped them out and apologized

- a girl that he had some history with (devon) had cut her leg during a game of flag football. dylan was the one to help clean and take care of the wound

- he volunteered at a daycare

- he bought his mom african violets as an apology for forgetting mother’s day

- he covered eric’s shifts at work when eric’s dog got sick

- he was the one who told brooks brown about eric’s website (this was a little hypocritical though)

Just got done spewing some facts under a video supporting Priscilla and her “movie” I thought I’d share them here:

So many people here are uneducated and will blindly believe everything Priscilla says because she’s a woman and it’s edgy to hate on Elvis.

1. Elvis was never actually wanting to date or marry Priscilla he was with an actress very much his age that was back home while he was in Germany. He just saw Prissy as someone to talk to. She has so many issues with her yandere type fan tendencies being obsessive over a man she wasn’t even with in the first place and who didn’t give her a second thought

2. She did NOT hopelessly wait around for Elvis after he left she continued to play several different guys and she did have a very normal high school experience she went to dances and football games

3. Prissy’s father blackmailed Elvis into marrying her. Elvis did NOT want to marry Priscilla

4. Yes, Elvis cheated but not until after Priscilla cheated first with her dance instructor. She’d also call him while she was doing the deed so he could hear

5. Priscilla said herself the chair scene is highly inaccurate. Elvis was angry on the phone with the Colonel and threw a chair to the wall as Priscilla was walking in the room and he immediately apologized and said he didn’t see her come in

6. She constantly changes her story and her book she said herself isn’t accurate because she said if she didn’t make it dramatic enough it wouldn’t sell

7. For those who might say “she’s a child, she can’t do no wrong she didn’t know what she was doing” at 14 I was well aware of shit and what I did. And I know she did too she wasn’t some innocent angel

8. She’s an awful mother to Lisa Marie. Actively dated and let a man around Lisa that had said he had inappropriate feelings for Lisa when she was a child

9. Got with a married man who had a PREGNANT wife. Yes it’s also the man’s fault but she knew damn well he was married and his wife was pregnant

10. She cannot stop talking bs about Elvis cause he’s the only reason she’s relevant. In contrast to one of (what I believe to be) Elvis’ true loves Ann Margaret who only says nice things about him but she also had a career before meeting him

All in all, yes Elvis had some flaws but people spread misinformation about him all the time just like they do with Michael Jackson. Priscilla is no saint, she’s a lying gold digger who only cared about money in the first place. Not to mention she was laughing at Elvis’s funeral so if she truly was “in love” then why would she do such an awful thing by laughing? She continues to use the Presley name even though Elvis told her not to after they divorced and constantly spew lies and drop his name over and over again. She’s told her story countless times, this movie was slander towards a man who cannot defend himself. Like I said Elvis wasn’t a saint either but you need to take off the rose colored glasses and see both sides of the story. Thank you.

Also because bringing up "I watched Hazbin Hotel" and only talking about discourse is a Bad Look, here's my thoughts on the pilot and the four episodes thus far released.

I've seen some people say the animation in the show is less fluid in the pilot, but I think I like the show's animation more? It's a lot more consistent, the characters are shaded so they stand out from the background more (and kind of "pop"), but honestly a passing vibe I got in the pilot now and then was that it was "too fluid", like it moved too fast at places or like it had a lot of "flourishes" that felt off. I can't accurately explain it, but point is, I like the show's vibes more.

I also like the redesigns. I didn't notice anything too drastic with say Dust, Alastor, or Charlie, but Vaggie's was an upgrade. The red shirt breaks up the white, and she's looking much more Moth (the more Moth your characters look the better).

I don't really have anything to say about the voices, my attention was divided elsewhere. I will be committing seppuku later for not being able to have a strong, belligerent opinion on this matter.

Speaking of Vaggie, now that I've seen more of her character, I've grown to appreciate her more. There's a sort of 4-section graph where Charlie and Vaggie believe in the Hotel's success, with Charlie being much more personally emotionally invested in it while Vaggie's more cynical and seems to be doing it more for Charlie's sake. Meanwhile Angel Dust and Alastor don't believe the Hotel can succeed, but Alastor still helps while Angel Dust just blows things off.

Also everyone who did the "she's an Angry Latina stereotype" thing can eat shit now. She was angry in the pilot because Angel Dust publicly embarrassed her girlfriend, tarnished any credibility the Hotel had, and then insulted her to her face while being unrepentant the entire time. Now that we've seen more from her, she's just grumpy and more willing to put her foot down (as opposed to Charlie who is bubbly and more accommodating). I knew this specific accusation was bad faith from day 1.

I genuinely don't think the show is edgy. It "appears" edgy, but Charlie's a disney princess who walked onto the wrong set and is shifting the genre through her presence. The fact that her goal is to show that people in Hell can change and become better people isn't just portrayed as earnest (instead of naive) but it is in fact achievable (as shown by Pentious and the others over time) adds onto this. The show is a fundamentally hopeful and positive one and I respect it for that.

In line with that, I appreciate the musical numbers. They bop, I didn't need to tell you this, but they also fall into the category of "endearing through earnesty". Like Charlie singing to Pentious about how change begins with an apology is the corniest shit on earth, but I couldn't help but smile about it.

I do like the speed of the plot, both the "redeeming people" plot and the "expedited extermination" one. I cynically expected Pentious' redemption to be a red herring, but the fact that he stuck around and is turning over is something I approve of. It is a bit fast at times though, I do know that this is because there's only 8 episodes, but I choose to blame the studio/streaming platform over the writers on this one. Also, we should throw bricks through the window of every streaming service headquarters.

I did like Adam's portrayal. The original Adam and Eve myths, whether or not Lilith is there, do lend themselves to misogyny, both in terms of reading and "what influenced some doctrine". Between Lilith being cast out for not wanting to be subservient to a man/wanting to top and then having sex with animals and demons or something, and Eve getting duped by the snake and now humanity's been cursed with original sin because femoids are dumb and bad and men should make the decisions, etc. etc. Adam being depicted as a misogynistic frat bro-type who is obsessed with his dick and brags about his conquests to random people reads to me more as "a clever take/commentary on christian mythology and culture" instead of "gratuitous edginess".

Honest to god, I think they're better at using swear words now. My principle criticism of Helluva Boss (which I like) is that they sometimes use "fuck" like it's punctuation, and it can get grating or become "noise" that doesn't register, which is Bad when it's your funny dialogue. Cursing is still casual, but I feel like characters only turn on the capslock and start screaming FUCKING SHITASS when they're emotionally compromised or intentionally meant to come across as crude and unlikeable. If they took notes and course-corrected on this, I will never wear a hat because it's going to be off to them forever.

Angel Dusts' voice direction in episode 4 was really good. He usually speaks in a somewhat high-pitched, New York ("new yoike") accent, but when he was yelling at Charlie to leave I noticed that it seemed to get a bit deeper and he lost the accent, as though he was so upset he couldn't keep up the affect anymore. I got chills.

TL;DR Hazbin Hotel is good, actually.

Maybe people should take more breaks from using the internet, for their mental health.

it's been a few weeks, still missing your sister. but also missing ellie, a lot. it was quite unusual but you really wanted to be around ellie. she made you happy all the time. just her presence made you smile, how did she do it? she was just your light. all you wanted to do was play with her auburn hair, her fingers, her lips- wait. what are you saying right now? ellie is your friend. friends don't do that and you sure as hell aren't into girls like that. you've only had one boyfriend, he was pretty shitty though. but now you're getting off topic, all you want to do is be with ellie right now. but you don't want to bother her.. she won't mind! you hope.

you take your phone off the charger and go right to ellie's contact, you didn't even realize the amount of messages she sent you. you'd always have your notifications off and you were too busy sulking in your room for hours and cutting yourself but just a little so your mother wouldn't notice. you start texting ellie, asking her if it was okay for you to sleepover.. or maybe that's too much? maybe she wouldn't like that. but you had to stop overthinking and just do it. you finally hit 'send', sighing in relief. it wasn't long before ellie started typing, she sent 'yes! of course.' ellie's dad was very laid back, so he wouldn't mind having a friend of ellie's over. you went over to your mom's room. your mom was smoking as usual, the smell of cigarettes was horrid.

"mom, can i sleepover at ellie's?" you ask, keeping a distance from her. she looked over at you and she didn't care at the moment, or didn't care about you. "yeah, whatever." she grumbles. though, you didn't like the way she replied you were happy she was letting you.

"hey, y/n." she smiles, taking your hand to let you in. her hands were cold but firm and much stronger than yours. she leads you upstairs to her room, her room was a little messy but it was nice. she had an red electric guitar to the side and plushies. her bedroom was pretty edgy and dark. not typically your style. she closes the door and walks to her desk.

"um.. how are you feeling lately? you didn't answer my messages." she says while looking on her desk for something. "i'm sorry. i'm ok, don't worry." you say quietly as you put your bag down. you tilt your head to the side seeing ellie search for something. "what are you looking for?" you ask innocently. she finally picks up the small object and looks at you. "my vape." she takes a hit, blowing the smoke out slowly. you didn't know she vaped, even though you've known her for a while. maybe a new habit? "you vape?" you watch her walk to her bed and sit, you walk towards the bed but don't sit. "yeah," she looks at you, smirking. "you can sit down next to me, it's alright." you blush; not noticing. you sit down, she pulls you closer. she rubs your back slowly. "you don't look okay. you can talk to me, y'know?" she says with a reassuring smile, taking another hit. should you tell her? you didn't want to seem like you were looking for attention. you just wanted to be with her, look now she's basically holding you. "it's just.. my sisters death has done a lot to me. i just want to be with her. my mom doesn't really care about any of this i don't understand how? i don't know.." ellie listens, then takes a look at your wrist. she moves her hand off your back and gently takes your wrist, she sees the few small cuts. "y/n.." she mumbles. you feel your eyes watering, you didn't want her to really worry about that. ellie takes you into a hug, you cry on her shoulder.

she felt so warm. she looks you in the eyes for a moment before cuddling you in the bed. "i don't want you to do this." she says. "are you going to kill yourself?" those words hit you in the heart, you didn't know how to react to that. "no, no.. but i've been thinking about it." you admit. ellie holds onto you tighter, you look at her vape. "can i have some?" you look at her, your beautiful doe eyes. she takes it and looks down at you. "are you sure?" she asks, making sure you didn't want to regret this. you nod. she hands you the vape, you tremble a bit before taking a hit. coughing loudly, ellie giggles. "it's not funny-" you cough in between. ellie pulls you in closer before touching your throat with her pointer finger. you freeze. her touch felt so good. she gently rubs on your throat, she smiles at you. "better?" you whimper a bit then nod. "m' good." she sighs and lays back. "get the lamp for me?" you move a little and turn the light off, you put your head on ellie's chest and sigh. you felt really nice in this position. "g'night, els." you mumbled, then finally shutting your eyes. ellie looks down at you, admiring your appearance. she moves some of your hair away from your face and smiles lightly. "night y/n."

I really like to draw, play specific video games, and enjoy animated content like movies and cartoons. I think animals are cool, plants are cool, sharks and aquatic creatures are cool, and for some reason I really like vending machines (I think they are exciting). I like to make food and eat them, and even draw them. I like video game music and music with guitars and bass in them. I really like plushies and collect those of my favorite characters.

-> Oh and speaking of Favorite characters... They're my blorbos alright and sometimes I accidentally project onto them. These blorbos include: Werewolf Cookie (Cookie Run), Legoshi (Beastars; look I even share birthdays with him!), Nick Wilde (Zootopia), Plague Knight (Shovel Knight), Artificer and Hunter (Rain World), Ichimatsu Matsuno (Osomatsu-san), Foxy the Pirate (FNAF), Pinkie Pie (MLP), Spamton (Deltarune), and a bunch of goth/edgy backstory and generally edgy/tired old men from Pokemon like Nanu and Larry. I could go on more but just know that if the character looks like they deserve some sort of hug, 90% of the time they're likely my most favorite character.

-> A troubled person trying to get by in college. Currently seeking therapy and found support with many lovely individuals (my friends!) and making some form of progress to fix myself. My primary form of coping is drawing and making stories where the characters fight similar struggles as mine (They are essentially my Earthbound Flying Men). This is one of the reasons why I make a lot of art and draw fast- It is not to chug out content- I just draw fast and a lot. Well... I used to draw fast, but with the advice of many, I'm taking it easy.

-> I also like to play video games and listen to music repeatedly until I get bored to help cheer me up. I do not want to go into detail about my trauma and its details and progression shouldn't be everyone's priority to know. I'm here in the internet to have fun and maybe earn incentives along the way, and whenever I get tired, I dock out until I feel better.

-> I'm not looking for attention, especially those that spout negativity. Let me know of anything that concerns you and don't be afraid to be honest. I don't want to hurt people, but I will bite if prompted or cornered. I apologize if my episodes do leak out and cause worries, and I apologize that I may go on manic, narcissistic and overzealous tangents at times. It may be hard to control my emotions, but it doesn't excuse it.

-> Most things I say are gender neutral and loose. Don't take everything too seriously. Sometimes my distinctions in art and portrayals are not clear to people so please browse with an open mind. I also might not know certain subjects for cultural and personal reasons, so if you wish to educate me on some manners, please do- I never mean anything malicious in my work. Feel free to request tags.

-> Everyone has the right to share and use my art anywhere as long as I am credited. (there are some exceptions to this such as using them for monetary purposes or using them for malicious intent)

-> For anyone who is willing to be patient, kind, and understanding of me, thank you. You make my journey less scary. I hope it isn't weird to say "I love you" platonically, and to a stranger nonetheless! I think, even on brief times, everyone deserves a form of appreciation, especially for taking the time to read all of this, haha. I have done a lot of mistakes in the past, and people who are mature and understanding of the such are to be treasured. I truly believe it is important to know that everyone here is only human, who all went through different experiences and learning journeys, and you are only human too.

~Common Blog Tags and their meanings~

#my art - A majority of art I made use this tag.

#gift - Stuff made for me and sometimes for other people. Sometimes the gift comes from the creation of it, so some posts can have that too if I find that criteria.

#my anthro au, #anthro au - My Rain World Anthro AU uses these tags. The former is the new one that specifies my au in particular. The older tag is mixed in with other anthro aus people have.

#oc - Occasional posts containing my very original stuff.

#thoughts - Posts that have my random rambles. Somewhat unimportant but my mind works like that. However, since my second personal blog, these posts will be less frequent.

#rw shipping, #shipping - As most of you know, I am a shipper and I actively participate in doing it. My blog is filled with shipping content and I'm very vocal about #artihunter . This is not the only thing I do though, but if you do not wish to see it, I would tag such posts as this so people can filter them. Please lmk if I forget to tag.

#vent - This and the self harm tags used to be prevalent in this blog. I realized that these are things that shouldn't be revealed so publicly, and in front of the potentially vulnerable. This MIGHT come in rarely, but I'm hoping that not anymore from here on out. I'm sorry to those who witnessed such tags.
