i feel like a lot don't know about this particular part in the light novel so I might as well share since I got the original Japanese version ^^ I like this part as much as their final moments. This is when Geto finished his war declaration and flew away with his family.

(including spoilers for Shibuya!)

(The thing is my country has released a translated version of the LN but its translation is very... straightforward and loses the poetic feel that the original LN has. It doesn't have the depth anymore, and even though my language (Vietnamese) has rich vocabulary, it doesn't deliver. In this case it cuts off the "soul" part, which in itself is very important considering Gojo's connection to Geto's soul is mentioned again during Shibuya incident. So I hope the official English version can do this part justice!)

I love the way this scene is described in the LN. "Gojo was also silently staring at him. In the distance, the cursed spirit (bird) flapping its wings was getting smaller [...]". It makes you... feel a lot, when you know that Gojo could very well chase after him, stop him, i mean... just anything besides standing there and staring at him. And not even saying that Geto had the students surrounded or anything - Gojo did say at the end that he trusted Geto not to do anything too much to the students and so on. The thing is, after declaring the war, Geto did mention he was gonna take his girls to eat crepes at this new shop on Takeshita street, and if that's not him showing all his cards on the deck then idk what is. He essentially sent Gojo his full address and schedule for the day lol. And Gojo did not do anything about it.

But this sentence? So much longing. So much nolstagia. The scene when he was silently staring at Geto flying away, with his covered eyes, he could only see people in curse energy, but not here: he was looking at Geto's soul with his own. When Gojo said that he could realize Kenjaku at Shibuya was not Geto because "his soul denies" his Six eyes, it has always been like this. Gojo has always looked at Geto's soul, with all his soul in return. The sentence uses the term ずっと, ずっと (zutto, zutto) - meaning always/still, underlining the state of doing something. He has always bared his all in taking Geto in, not just the appearance, not just the smell ("There is no way I will mistake the remmants of Suguru's cursed energy" - by smelling it in the movie), but also his soul. That is why Gojo can always recognize it.

(That is also why Kenjaku knew the plan to capture him could be a 100% success)

I do recommend you guys to buy the original JPese LN in case you want to make sure you don't miss any details on them! (like my case lol)

there's a small comic where yamaguchi tells tsukki that he hears hinata has been doing meiso (瞑想, or meditation) every day which i guess is a homophone because tsukki goes "he's been doing meiso forever, what?" (迷走, to stray/act randomly) and pictures hinata always going off on his own and doing random shit LMAAAO

also there's a mini comic where bokuto is wearing a lab coat and is like "omg don't i look good in this?" and komi and konoha are like "yooooo the lab coat is so sick it makes anyone look smart it's so amazing etc" and akaashi is in the back whisper-yelling "IF YOU GUYS PRAISE THE LAB COAT TOO MUCH THEN BOKUTO WILL GET JEALOUS OF THEM"

btw the tissue box wall suddenly appeared out of nowhere. like it actually says "the staff members must have felt awkward facing each other with nothing in between, because at some point there was suddenly a stack of tissue boxes there"

Deep Cover and YONAH spoilers!

First impressions time! (Looking at this translation for Deep Cover, this one for YONAH). Btw I actually haven't listened to Deep Cover yet because it's not out in my time-zone rip.

Add plagiarism to the list of crimes committed by Milgram prisoners lol. I actually love the Undercover callback it's fantastic! And the diss track? Eminem got nothing on wolf girl over here.

But this does raise the question of how much she actually knows about the murders. Like, she talks about very specific things such as Shidou being a "priceless stealer", so she has to know something. I saw someone bring up she may have been spying on all the interrogations, and I have to assume that's the case because how else would that happen.

I'm really interested in the fact Kotoko seems to want everyone to be Unforgiven, though.

Which one do you pick? I want unforgiven

And the fact at the end she lists all the T1 innos and insults them, as if she wants them to be Unforgiven too. Like, I get it, she enjoys feeling like she's dealing out justice, but what. I hope the MV clarifies a bit more because right now she just sounds unhinged. Which is fun! I like characters who are just unrepentantly evil. But I get the feeling there's something more going on. We already know some of her motivations from HARROW, but you have to wonder if they've evolved in some way during her time in Milgram.

Speaking of the MV, my prediction is not only that the other prisoners are gonna be there, which I have to assume will happen-

I'm not sure about the rest of them. Again, that's just a silly prediction, I'm not expecting it to happen, I'm just putting it out there because if it does happen I will feel like a God lol.

About YONAH, I'm slightly disappointed we didn't get much about Kotoko herself, but it's still really good! I think it's fun that she sorta encouraged Es to Forgive at the end of TASK and now she's like "yo your weak-ass needs to stop forgiving people."

But I do want to say, I'm surprised at the amount of people who are shocked Kotoko wanted to attack Amane. Like, we even had that one timeline conversation when she said she wouldn't treat Amane differently just because she's a child. I thought we had an universal understanding that the only reason Amane wasn't attacked is because of the Kazui ceasefire and John's time-wasting fight (and out of universe, because we can't have a character dying in T1). I guess I was wrong though. Anyways, Worst Girl enjoyers are rejoicing right now. Not gonna lie, this is making me like Kotoko more and more by the second. I don't know what that says about me.

Anyways, what do you think Kotoko's percentage will look like on the day the voting opens? Not her verdict since... well. Like, I was always expecting her to Guilty sweep, but what we have so far doesn't really help her. I would not be surprised if she ends up easily beating Muu as the widest Guilty margin. Hell, do you think it can beat Shidou as the most decisive verdict in general? I think it's unlikely, since Shidou got nearly 82% inno this trial which is insane. But honestly, unless Deep Cover MV does some insane leg-work, Kotoko might get more than 82% Guilty. I think it'd be funny.

Not like I'm gonna stop it. Sorry inno truthers, I highly respect your commitment to wolf girl and fully respect the decision, but I feel like Not Forgiving her this trial would be for the best. Still, I'm open to having my mind change when the MV drops. Take care!

I seriously love your fic 'Social Media + Insomnia = Epic Fails'. It's honestly amazing that you managed to write an entire fic through just snapshots of different social media. If I may, can I ask how you did it? I can't imagine that it would be easy, considering that there's barely any conventional dialogue or real action scenes.

Oh my gosh, yay!! Ironically I just reread that one the other night. It was very self-indulgent, but I'm so happy to hear so many other people could enjoy it too! 🥰✨😊

There are definitely some parts that are easier than others. Interestingly enough, I probably have the hardest time with formatting and the overall structure of the fic when I publish than the writing itself. I love playing around with HTML, but Ao3's HTML is notoriously hard. (Also, tip: the Rich Text Editor doesn't always allow the same amount of versatility, hence the HTML.)

For me personally, it was important for me to have plot in the background. It doesn't have to be deep plot, but just some sort of guideline that I could follow so I know where it began and end.

In that fic, I'm sure you noticed, things went down in the background like Danny joining the Justice League and becoming Ghost King and Tim getting overshadowed by Pariah Dark. (Yes, I did try to heavily imply that Tim was overshadowed by Pariah for five days. That's a fun plot point lol.) But the overarching story that people really came for was Tim and Danny being lovesick idiots and trying to navigate being public personalities and getting together.

You are totally right about unconventional dialogue. There is a bit at the end where we get actual dialogue with quotation marks and dialogue tags, but otherwise we just get a lot of chatting sequences. For me it was very important to get the tones right. Little clues in the messages that shows how they're feeling or what they're implying. And for things like sarcasm, which don't translate through writing the same way, you can even have characters call each other out on it. I know I've done the same for "Insomniacs Anonymous". (Can you tell I love social media fics? lol)

One of the things I will say about this kind of fic format is that it's so much easier to write fight scenes. On one hand, you don't get really inspiration scenes where your characters are out there kicking ass and saving the day, but that's also a let less work on your part. In this case the details aren't as important, it's the results. So that's why we just see Breaking News alerts.

For this fic, it's kind of a mixture of present-action and reactions. There are parts where we watch as plot points unfold but we also learn about other plot points via the reactions from other people on social media.

There are also smaller things you can do. Whenever I showed Danny's Twitter profile or YouTube channel, I changed little details to show the passage of time. I showed him steadily gaining new followers or subscribers, or in the case with YouTube, I showed his number of videos slowly ticking up higher. It's very easy to miss, and maybe most people don't notice it at all, but it's also a good bookmark as an author.

If you're looking for inspiration or ideas, then I would definitely recommend looking into other social media AUs. There's a canonized tag for it on Ao3, but the social media fics I read that helped me with "Social Media + Insomnia = Epic Fails! (Not Clickbait)" were from Yuri! On Ice, Batman, and BNHA. If you're interested in more specific fics, let me know and I can make up a list of recs. Even if you're not into the fandom, they offer some good ideas for what it can look like.

All in all, I'm really glad you liked that one! I have a number of more ideas for social media fics going forward like a Model AU, my Actor AU, and then a AITA Reddit fic which I believe I did post a while ago as well. chapter ten analysis/discussion

Continuing my analysis/discussion post on chapter 9, I decided to translate the same author's post on chapter 10 as well. I omitted some of the introduction and ending since it wasn't the meat of the analysis. First is the bilibili post, then below that are a few comments I had on it and the chapter. Also, this is much shorter than the post for chapter 9 lol.

[T/N: I'm going to abbreviate Gladiolus Valley Research Center as GVRC because it's a pain to type out]

There's a lot of information and of meaningful content in this chapter. Thus, many of the lingering questions from Chapter 9 have been resolved, but many new questions have also arisen. Let's go through and analyze and answer them one by one.

1. "A good place" that Brigid Gries said Gerard Boone went to

She described it as "a good place", but we all know that it definitely isn't "good"…

The scene where Jerome took Brigid's hand is probably hinting that he is likely the person who took Gerard away. Vyn also obtained a list of names from the auction that included Gerard and Brigid's names. Considering these two things, it's very likely that Gerard was taken somewhere where they are pharmaceutical experiments, just like with Huey.

2. Matthew Richter's role in the overall story

From his kidnapping of MC at the auction, his threatening Vyn with a gun during their confrontation, and Marius saying that the Richter family is the biggest investor of GVRC, all the clues tell us that he is in opposition to us.

However, Wilson Sorge and/or the possible Crimson Biotech person he was speaking to are closer to the actual mastermind. I think that Matthew is just another scapegoat and target that they're pushing forward. But why is Matthew willing to do things for them? Why would he care about the experiment's progress being impeded if the research center gets targeted?

Based on his voice, it's easy to realize that Matthew was the person Vyn was speaking to last chapter. Vyn had said "Should you also be preparing [a suicide note], given your current situation?", and in this chapter Vyn also called him an "invalid". And when MC said he'd fit right in as the "main feature" at a funeral, it "seems you hit a sore spot because the man responds by slamming his fist on the table." (10-16)

Based on that information, I'm guessing that Matthew has some sort of terminal illness, which is why he's investing in GVRC. He believes that research on NXX-based medicine could help his condition and hopes that one day they'll develop an "effective medicine" without side-effects that can cure him. But this requires large amounts of testing on humans and adjustment. Therefore his motives may be different from the mastermind's, but they're cooperated since they have similar interests and goals.

3. Who was the person with Brad Gries in the video file? Who called Felicia?

My guess is still Jerome, because he's the one who's most involved in the whole situation. Brigid is close with her mother, so Jerome is also likely to be the one who called Felicia. He has so much information on this family so it'd be easy for him to gain their trust. His speaking style is also gentle and guiding.

Their next goal is clear: to direct the investigation towards the Richter family, then continue controlling things from the shadows…

4. Why did Bryan Wing receive an invitation to the secret auction?

My understanding is that he received an invitation since he is Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, and people in high positions tend to be invited for the "quality" of the "auction items". But thinking of it another way, why would an auction that's "not on the straight and narrow" be so bold as to invite Bryan Wing? Either they have the power to cover up anything illegal so there's no way to investigate, or they have a very powerful "backer" that makes them fearless. Either option is disturbing.

I don't have much to add on points 1, 3, and 4; either the story hints at it very explicitly (Jerome taking Gerard away) or it's a very straightforward speculation on the question raised during the chapter.

Regarding Matthew Richter, I'm so glad the author pointed it out because I completely forgot about that scene from last chapter and about keeping an eye (ear) out for the unknown person xDD But I think they're spot-on; compare the voice in chapter 9 with Matthew's voice in chapter 10. In addition, the criticism of Vyn's manners and rudeness is the same as well.

The connection between all the comments hinting at Matthew's health and his involvement with GVRC also ties together so many strange little details into a reasonable explanation for his circumstances. Excellent attention to detail, no notes, I'm 100% on board with this conclusion. My only additional thoughts are that this situation feels all the more complicated after what we learned in Vyn's Sweet Chapter 2-07, about his attitude toward disabilities and imperfections.

Vyn: When I was very young, I witnessed my family member being discarded because of their imperfections... Vyn: As for the nobles, they stood on a pedestal and gave out commands as they watched everything happen with heartless eyes. Vyn: In their eyes, whether it be a defect before or after birth... Vyn: Or a psychological or mental disability... They see it as a form of imperfection. Vyn: And the people with these imperfections are nothing but trash in their eyes. They believe these people to be worthless and without the need to exist. Vyn: Ever since then, the seed of the "fear of imperfection" was planted in my mind. Vyn: I have always been afraid... I have been afraid that one day I will become imperfect and be tossed away because of it...

As of now, I haven't seen anything that suggests Matthew's (possible) illness is genetic in nature or that he has anything to do with the situation mentioned there, especially since it's talking about the Svart nobles. If it does, though, it gives more weight to Vyn's fear of the results of the genetic test in his Sweet Chapter. Either way, we can see the hints of this internalized prejudice towards "imperfections" in the way that some of Vyn's insulting remarks about Matthew are about his health. And in the timeline of the main story, MC hasn't been there to help him work through those issues.

So much of Vyn's history and issues have been in the context of his father's side of his family that it's interesting to see how this one may show up in his mother's side of the family. We know from Matthew's comment that both Vyn and Reina often "clash with him", and I'm looking forward to learning more about his relationships with the other characters.

Why was Alef so fixated on getting rid of the other gods\their cults? If I understand the Pantheon lore correctly. Did Megabird know the other gods other than Angst?

That's a good question, actually.

Of course, the Megabird knew about other gods. They literally lived in her house. But I can't say that she was very close to them. The Pantheon feared her as a powerful cosmic entity that could bring you into non-existence with a flick of a wing. And Megan herself treated the gods like funny little animals (which most of them are lol). Translating the relationship of the Megabird and the pantheon into our language, it's like someone drew your oc, not to say that with much of talent, but it's still feels nice, isn't it? And Angst didn't care about the pantheon at all. It wasn't his area of influence.

The gods in my au are literally the same elders, only they don't have a physical body. They are in no way superior in strength to the elders and in some respects even inferior. They are also burdened with ordinary emotions and don't always do good things. In the situation of the Hidden Forest, the fact that Dryad died does not mean that she is good. Dryad was much older and more experienced than Teth, and in theory, it was she who should have taken the first step towards applying the two sides. Perhaps, after all, getting into non-existence is too strong a punishment for her, but I can not say that she suffered undeservedly. Her face was just begging to be punched. I hope she learns a good lesson from this if she can come back.

Alef is probably one of the most complex characters I've ever written. He is a being of light, the son and messenger of the Megabird, carrying her will. He was made for this purpose. That's what WE'RE ALL made for, if we're honest. In the beginning of his existence, Alef performed his function properly. After the overthrow of his first gods, Alef and Daleph set off on a grand journey through all the kingdoms in order to reunite the elders. But at some point, the family reunion campaign turned into a real crusade for the glory of the Megabird. By the way, Megabird herself was not informed about this. Let's face it, Alef is a bit of a narcissist and loves attention to himself. First, victory in the trials, then a warm welcome in the Daylight Prairie (which was just the main nest of worship for the goddess of light), triumph over the Dryad in the forest, all this fueled the ego of the young prince, and at some point he began to "do justice to the pantheon" for himself. Only he would never admit it, of course.

Why didn't the Megabird stop him? Even better question. I used to say a long time ago that Alef is the best creation of a Megabird, her pride. Contrary to popular opinion, I do not believe that 'Bird manipulated the Alef in any way. He wasn't her puppet at all. The bird does not interfere in the lives of her children just SO much that I will soon start composing songs about it. I apologize in advance if my actions lead to the degradation of the Megabird image in the fandom.

Megabird was fascinated by literally any Alef's act and never hindered his rivalry with the pantheon. And then, as we know, it became pointless to try to reason with the king. We all know this story. Alef decided to get rid of the old gods in order to prove first of all to himself that he could do it. Ognivo, for example, did nothing wrong but was overthrown anyway. Just by inertia from others. Alef, the second most powerful being of light after Megabird, does not tolerate disobedience to his address. So when the prince set foot in the Valley for the first time, the days of the deity were already numbered.

This situation looks pretty clear in my head, but when I sit down to describe it, my brain turns to jelly. I hope this answer will satisfy you!

The London underground isn’t the nicest place to spend a summer afternoon. Crammed in a stuffy, smelly, and especially loud carriage, the only fresh air came through when the doors opened and closed at the various stations on your route. Although you weren’t complaining about your position, pressed up against Jake’s broad, toned chest. One arm around your waist gently but firmly supporting you, the other gripping onto an overhead handle, and your wicker basket hanging over his wrist.

Sensing your anxiousness, as a man with shopping accidentally bumps into you as he moves behind in the carriage. Jake scowls at him as your arms unconsciously tighten around his waist. Leans down and kisses the top of your head, smelling your lavender shampoo (the boys' favourite comfort smell). “it’s ok, bebita, not long now”.

Nuzzling closer into him, your senses calmed by his scent of grapefruit and guaiac wood. also the hint of coffee you both shared before leaving the flat. The monotone voice calls through the background of chatter and movement, calling “ This is High Street Kensington”

You both wait as everyone gets off, and then Jake goes before you take your hand. The carriage speeds away quickly, leaving metallic screeching’s in its memory, the created breeze easily lifting your favourite dress in its wake.

leaving the dull underground station behind, the sun shines bright in your eyes “oh sugar” you said as you put your back on your back. I’m going to nip into Accessorize sweetheart, I’ve left sunglasses back at the flat” Jake smiled an “ok bebita” shaking his head at your usual forgetfulness.

When you leave the shop, you expect that Jake will still be in the same spot. Looking around you, you feel a hand on your waist and an excited voice say “Mi Vida, I’ve had an idea”. Taking you across from the station, you see bicycle’s stationed together. You arch your eyebrow looking from them to Jake “Didn’t we have enough exercise this morning?, Love”.

Jake laughs so hard that his sunglasses fall from his head. “ aw bebita, of course. But this is a different type of ride than then. Getting flustered now, and also what people think. “Lockley we’re in public” You laugh with the emphasis on the L. “what you started it” mumbling “not my fault you have a dirty mind” replied Jake.

So what should have been a 7-minute bike ride to Kensington Palace for lunch? It took an hour there and back. Feeding the wildlife and just being carefree for a while with one of the loves of your life.

After getting your breath back and taking Jake’s hand, you both walk into the bustling Sunday Farmers Market. Freshness of everything dancing with staleness of a big city and filling the senses and enticing the imagination.

Standing in front of a fruit and veg stall, Jake perks up when you're weighing two melons “I prefer yours bebita” he says with a wink. “Jake’ you laugh. Jake wanders away laughing.

Turning back to the stall, you pick up a few other things orange’s, leeks, and garlic. “Oh do you have any rosemary?” You ask nearly forgetting, “ of course” the owner smiles, putting it in your basket. After paying, you’re behind Jake and gently pinch his sides “I know it’s you, mi amour” Jake says without turning. You look to see what’s got his interest.

Watches, vintage watches, and one in particular. It has a black cracked leather strap and a silvery black face with a gold dial. He turns to you, smiling, and takes your basket you're clearly struggling with.

You know he won’t buy himself the watch, as he often says he doesn’t deserve nice things with what he is. That thought hurts, especially as He turns to you, smiling and taking your basket you're clearly struggling with.

“love can you go get me something to drink, please” he puts the basket down, kisses the top of your head, and disappears from view. Just as you're putting the watch box in your backpack, Jake appears next to you like he never left.

Picking up the basket, Jake “announces “Steven says, " We need fish food, and Marc wants some snacks” After finishing shopping, it’s time to head home.

The sun still shines despite the time, so when passing the bikes again “will we cycle back to the flat? We can text the company to pick the bikes up afterwards.”

“Why not, it’ll be better than the tube mi amour” Jake says as he secures the basket to the bike “you got rosemary mi amour” the excitement clear in his voice as he turns to you standing with the biggest smile for him while handing him a yellow and white paper bag “I couldn’t wait my love, I hope you like it.”

Curious with furrowed brows, he takes the box out of the small bag, and his eyes go huge as he see’s the watch. “mi Vida, you shou” knowing what he was going to say. You cut him off with a gentle but passionate kiss finishing with. “You deserve this and so much more, my love. I love you so much, Jake.”

“what did I do to deserve you? You are whole being, mi Vida” Jake puts the watch on, and you get a photo of him. He rolls his eyes playfully.

“come on, mi Vida. The Romero Chimichurri won’t make itself.” His favourite condiment. He knows he’s loved, and it makes him want to be the best he can be, but to you he’s already that.

There's no place I'd rather be, starting to play from a passing phone. Which you think is very appropriate, as there is no place you would rather be than with Jake right now!

Ok ok hear me out lmao I love writing angst, it's literally therapy for me. This specific one is a retelling of Garrus loyalty mission that I just kinda self inserted Gaia into. It's not a finished project hence why it's still in the WIP folder lol. It has a few Gaia bs spoilers cause ya girl is traumatized.

Gaia stands perfectly still, not looking away from Garrus for a moment. She desperately reads his face, trying to decipher any emotions from him that she can. But all she finds is the Turians frantic attempt at hiding them. His mandibles won't stop fluttering, and even through her translator she can hear his rapid clicks. And worse yet, he refuses to look at her, yet, she can't look away. "Why? Why did you do that?" His voice is trembling with confusion. But she can't say anything. He wants answers, no. He deserves answers. But the most she can do is stare up into his eyes, while her own glaze over. She retreats into herself, hiding in the security of chaos that is her emotions, so that he can't see. "Gaia no!" His hand on her shoulder snaps her out of her escape. "No running away, not this time. You're going to answer me dammit." Hot air hits her face as he sighs. "Don't... Don't you think he deserves it? Don't you think that... That everyone... Everyone that died that day deserves justice? He killed them." Garrus chuckles, his eyes now just as lost as Gaia's a moment ago. "He betrayed all of them. His death would have paid for that. Doesn't.... Doesn't someone have to pay? Doesn't someone have to make it all right?" His hand let's go of her. *No, no, no, don't let go! Don't slip away from me! I can't! I suffer from this syndrome that only allows me to write happy endings, so the angstiest ending I've written still brings with it some hope. It's Darkest before the dawn.

I think one of my newer fics, No fear, no fences, nobody - no reins has a pretty lovely ending. Lots of hope for a pretty blissful future.

Henry's POV apparently haha. I'm just gonna spend the rest of my existence writing everything from Henry's point of view, and I'll be fine.

But honestly, as much as I never realized it, I think the dialogue is one of my major strengths. It took a friend @oneofthewednesdays complimenting me on my dialogue as well as hearing a podfic of one of my works to convince me that the dialogue I write feels pretty genuine and authentic.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

Writing anything except one shots lol. I'm working on something now that might become my first real multichapter fic that isn't cowritten, and I'm really excited, but also terrified that I won't finish it.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?

I've done this! And I've received a ton of positive feedback from native speakers that I did it justice, which made me feel so good.

Oh gosh. It's like asking me to choose my favorite child. But as many fics as I've written in the months since joining the RWRB fandom and as immensely proud of them as I am, my heart keeps coming back to quite possibly the best line I've ever written.

Alex had spoken the word into Henry’s mouth on countless occasions, so he was all-too-familiar with the way it slipped off of his tongue so smoothly, as if the letters themselves were forged together just for him by some foul-mouthed god who knew the damage such a word might wreak in the possession of someone as fearless as Alexander Claremont-Diaz.

And this line lives in a little post lake house fic, the second fic I ever published in the RWRB fandom, called What If I Do?

I would like to show you my shipchild by Shockbee - Sorkat (it means from the Greek deer Lmao). He is a little secretive and self-contained due to the fact that he spent his entire adult life in the laboratory and the Decepticon ship, literally without going anywhere. Why, if there are evil Autobots who will kill you? And in the laboratory is your creator, who will save you from any situation! Therefore, when he came to earth during the hunt for him (the children of Autobots and Decepticons are not very well perceived in my au - they are simply killed), he was scared and confused. What should he do? Will he be able to survive? The first couple of days he just shied away from any sound, but then slowly adapted to, as it turned out, not such a hostile environment. Well, not so hostile before he met Saiboku Kira, a hunter for him (another shipchild, I have a lot of them lol) then he, scared to hell, accidentally runs into the base of the Main characters - the Puzzle Justice, Lancome, Externus and Deep Byte - and they save him from mercenaries. Then he and his new acquaintances adapt to life on earth. One of his diary notes: "I don't like men. I don't like women. I don't like kids. I hate people and this planet. I would put zero on this planet if I was asked." Then, having met an adult Sari and an incendiary rocker Morgana with her team, they go on an incredible adventure... On this damn earth! About his character: Sorkat is very rude at first, but in fact he is a very vulnerable and cute bot. This is because he does not know how bots communicate with each other, because apart from swearing and shouting conversations in his direction, he did not hear anything. His altmode - speedboat. He loves to read and study new information, literally absorbs it like a sponge. Although the arrival on earth was marked by a seemingly wonderful event - new potential friends, he did this... Not happy. at all. For him, friends are a waste of time and resources (You can see the upbringing of a Shockwave). But after a couple of incidents, he finds out that friends are... Logical! They can support or intercede in a difficult moment... In general, when he arrives back to his creator, he will definitely acquaint Shockwave with his "dissertation" (in fact, this is just a retelling of all the adventures with his friends). It may be a little crooked due to the fact that I use a translator/// But I hope you enjoyed it!

Thoughts on Episode 123 (S6 E10)

Spoilers for the episode but no spoilers for the manga

Apparently this whole episode got leaked yesterday or something? Idk I wasn’t paying attention (I thought I had a whole day so I wasn’t checking anything related to the anime). Either way, today was my first time seeing it

I liked seeing the Bakugo-impaled scene from Deku’s perspective. Very nice

That being said, the first and second halves felt like two complete different episodes, both in content and execution. I’m sorry, but the first half just didn’t get me

I found it really dragged. I knew the exposition dump was coming, but I still felt it got really messy. I also don’t know if it’s just the way the translations were for the subtitles, but I feel like everything was so convoluted that it was hard to tell what they were saying. I hope the dub makes the point a little clearer, and I hope anime onlies are still able to grasp the plot

Also was it just me or did AFO look off model? I didn’t know it was possible for a character without a face to look wrong, but he just did. It was unnerving, and not in a good way. His scars were so flat

The random higher-ups in the observation room are back! Not that I missed them, but since they added them in the first place it’s important to check in once in a while. If they just disappear forever without a second mention, I’ll be annoyed cause like… you dragged these “characters” into existence

The second Toga appeared the episode got 1000x better, both animation wise and just the overall vibes

Her shaking Compress was so funny. That man is a dad and I love him for it

Dabi went :D and so did I. They’ve done his ridiculous panels so right this season

The suspense when Uraraka was in the house and it was all dark actually got me. Beautiful use of tension, and yes I jumped a little when Toga popped out

Overall, very mixed feelings on this one. First half was meh, second half was fantastic (all my opinion, of course)

Regarding next week, I am unfortunately going to be away but you’d best believe I will be watching that episode. I’ll do my best to write and post a review like I always do because, like I said when I started, this is a fun way for me to keep track of my thoughts

I’m also very excited for next week. Hoping and praying they do it justice

And maybe it's also the organization, in a certain sense, that doesn't have the spontaneous joy and enthusiasm directly out of the drivers' circles anymore.
