Being hyperfixated on media that involves topics of military, war and other traumatizing topics that reminds me of my own childhood trauma, but in a way that helps me cope with my PTSD and come to terms with the misfortune that has happened in my life up to this point, while also letting myself feel angry and sad, and letting myself feel regular human emotions that i would otherwise never want to show for the simple fact that my entire life i didn't want to be human, i didn't want to feel or even be seen as a person by others. My entire childhood consisted of me being angry and having no way to express my rage, all because it was 'un-ladylike' and 'too violent', so i ended up bottling it up and now, being pretty damn close to adulthood, I'm now a man who never got to experience childhood, who lived his entire middle school-teen years trying to fix himself, when nothing was even really wrong with him in the first place, so, i basically tore myself apart and put myself back together trying to repair something that was never broken and now I'm broken beyond what i was before...so yeahhh, I'm coping and trying to find peace right now, since i can't go to therapy for this, I'm working it out myself, slowly, but surely. I'm learning how to be my own person and how to break old habits, I'm also getting over my social anxiety and i found my voice now! so that's all good, plus, I'm working to actually better myself and make friends. - Signed, yours truly, Nero or Snake.

All the Bats stiffened and tensed, no doubt gearing up for a fight against the being that somehow knew Red Hood's full name.

Jason, Red Hood, decided to put on a brave front despite no doubt cursing in his head and wondering how the heck did this thing know his full freaking name.

"Whose asking." he snarled out, his hands twitching for his gun when the huge glowing knight with purple flames coming out of his helmet and cape, who was riding on a nightmare looking horse while they all had been in the cave going over tonight's patrol.

The Knight didn't seemed bothered by his response nor did he even seem to care or flinch when Batman made his own demand on 'Why was he there and who was he' or when Damian unsheathed his sword and pointed it towards him. Instead the strange glowing Knight reached to it side and pulled out... A glowing scroll? Huh. (Also he completely unnerved everyone in the room when the Knight didn't even react when Batman had tossed a Baterang when he reached for his side)

The Knight opened the scroll and spoke clearly with purpose.

I do like Raverne though, I think it's got a nice fancy sound to it! (I had kinda suspected it was going to be an R instead of an L, so the fact that it's SO close to Laverne except for that is hilarious to me personally.) and Dragoneye Duke is honestly probably the best translation for his title, I wasn't envying the localizers that one. :') Baur instead of Baul I was NOT expecting, but in retrospect I think his name's supposed to be a reference to the Bauru crocodile, so that actually makes way more sense!

I was thinking about why Zayne’s alternate personas were not also healers, since in most games, characters are usually slotted into one role

And since our Zayne is a doctor, following gaming logic, all his other personas should be healers too. But this is not the case, especially not with Dawnbreaker, who is the complete opposite of a healer

Then I realized that all his personas are people who are well-respected

Doctors are highly respected in modern/future society, with Zayne full-assing it to become the fucking chief cardiac surgeon, as well as being known outside of his hospital as a genius in the medical world

Foreseer is revered as the being closest to god, who people pilgrimage to in order to beg for his wisdom and foresight

Master is a high ranking god who is respected by all of those he rules over

The only one left out in the cold is Dawnbreaker, who only has the respect of the one detective who knows who he is. None of the Zaynes seek out fame for their knowledge or skills, but Dawnbreaker actively hides himself from society… but is it because there’s very little of society left? Even if more people knew about him, would they believe him when he explains why he does what he does? Or would the powers that be try to silence him? Or even worse, pin him has just an ordinary criminal, like how the detective once saw him as?

Not only is Dawnbreaker the one that stands out the most among the Zaynes, his very nature goes against what he should be. Instead of being well-respected and looked up to by society, he wallows away in the depressing life of someone who is barely even human. Because even he doesn't want to be there

All Zaynes isolate themselves and live in seclusion, but Dawnbreaker is the only one who doesn’t have a situation or his own version of MC to force him into society

She is the only one who brings light into Zayne's life, no matter where or who he is. But she is absent in Dawnbreaker's world

Dawnbreaker is the doctor’s shadow, yes

But he is also the shadow of all Zaynes

You had this strange ability since you were little.

Whispers, voices and other strange noises. It was something you could hear in the back of your mind.

The first time it happened was when you were six. You were playing in the living room of your home when the radio turned on, screams and other strange noises you'd hear on scary movies. You ran to your parents and told them, but when you brought then to the radio, all they could here was music playing.

"No more scary movies for you!", your mother said and left the room.

Your father sighed and pat your head.

"It was probably some metal music, don't worry too much and change the station.", he said before also leaving the room.

You were left with a now quiet radio.

There were no more screams or splattering sounds, instead there was humming.

"Hmhmmhm~"

As time passed, you eventually stopped telling your parents. They only gave each other concerned glances and once one of the whispers told you that they were thinking of putting you in an asylum.

For your safety, you had to just bear the strange noises.

It was when you were in your early twenties that you heard something on the radio, it having stopped for seven years.

The small radio on your work desk turned on and a man's voice went through.

"Salutations!"

"Turn off that music! I'm on a call!", screeched one of your coworkers.

You rushed to lower the volume but continued to listen in.

"Yes, I know it's been a while since someone with style treated Hell to a broadcast."

Hell? You thought.

"Sinners, rejoice!"

You heard him start to dis someone named Vox and honestly, you didn't need to hear the other half of the conversation to know that the radio man was winning.

"Oh, this will be fun~", the radio man finished.

It stopped after he laughed, then you could hear the normal music playing again.

Turning around, you apologized about the radio being too loud. "Sorry! I forgot that I had the volume on high."

After work, you decided to tap into your curiosity. Now you knew that the whispers and strange radio broadcasts were not normal at all, but you never tried to speak back to it.

Sure, the whispers would warn you about people and other things, but you never acknowledged the voices.

Maybe.. Maybe I can see why I'm hearing things. You thought.

Once in your apartment, you tinkered with the radio a bit and turned to the station you normally heard the radio man spoke from. Putting up the volume, all you could hear was static but that soon changed when you tapped your small microphone.

"Hello?"

The static stopped and all went quiet.

"Hello?"

If anyone would ask Bruce how he could have known, he would tell them that it is obvious. Phantom - the new part-time member of the Young Justice - who seemed to be forever young and their new engineer Danny Fenton who is in his early twenties have perfectly fitting schedules. When Fenton is working in the Watchtower, Phantom will be unavailable for the Young Justice and vice versa. Also, the pranks started after both of these figures appeared. Of course one could argue that they could just be related or somehow knew each other otherwise, but the pranks that were pulled on all of the mentors of the Young Justice were only possible with Phantom Powers. And because of the new Ghost Shield the young hero wouldn't be able to just fly into the Watchtower and had to use the Zeta-Tube, what would mean that they should be able to look at the logs. But Phantom never entered the Watchtower while the pranks were under way. And as soon as his team really needed him, Fenton would make an excuse to leave work early.

What he wouldn't tell anyone, is that he saw how Fenton had transformed himself into Phantom, shortly before the Flash got up to run for a snack, just to fall down because his ankles had been cuffed together.

And maybe he helped him from time to time, with a well timed question to distract his fellow heros. Because the motive became clear really fast. Everytime someone got pranked, that someone had done something to ignite the wrath of the younger heros.

All of that also meant two things.

First of all, as soon as Danny was at work, Batman would be extra aware of his surroundings. The pranks never worked on him, which meant he had to dodge more attempts for the rest of the day.

And secondly: He should talk to Tim, after he found out how he had put his foot in his mouth this time, since he just saw his spoon move in his coffee mug without anyone's involvement. He just let his (probably salty) coffee go cold, brooding. Maybe he should go home early today and spend some quality time with his son...
