I'm looking for a fic where modern wwx receives a book from baoshan sanren that tells the story of yllz wwx. Modern wwx reads a ritual and ends up in the past with everyone while past yllz ends up in the future. If I'm correct it's a two fic series, with the second one being incomplete where yllz goes to the future.

18. Hello! I'm looking for a complete fic on AO3 where Qin Su did the sacrifice ritual to bring back Wei Wuxian. He is now a woman. She left him a letter explaining why/what she wanted, and he has to keep up the act of being Qin Su for a little while until he can come up with an excuse to get out of Koi tower.

I don't remember what he was running around doing once he got out, but along the way he bumped into Lan Wangji, who is travelling with "Mo Xuanyu" investigating the demonic arm.Mo Xuanyu actually summoned Jin Zixuan using the ritual, though I don't remember if that was on purpose or if JZX was just the next best target with WWX already summoned. Because of Qin Su's letter to WWX (? They knew somehow), JZX knows that WWX is technically his sister now.

I don't remember much else apart from some minor stiff arguing on JZX end because LWJ is seducing his technical sister or something like that. He's not impressed/pleased. WWX is just as happy about being related to the peacock now. LWJ realises he is WWX-sexual. Yadda yadda.

Based on other fics I know I read around the same time, the publication/final update should be no later than 2022, but I might be wrong.

What are some of the arcs you have headcanons for that Peridot didn’t explore in canon? If you don’t mind me asking. I really wanted to see her more in the series and I felt there was so much more for her to do.

Omgggg okay so I have a lot of things I wish were explored more

1. toxic doomed lapidot arc - I liked the one episode where Steven and amethyst try to cheer her up after lapis left her and took the barn but I wished there was more of that. also there wasn’t much talking between the two when lapis got back. She never apologized for leaving and taking her entire home and I wish I got to see more of the fallout and character beats from raising the barn. (I dont blame the crewniverse at all for any of these points tho I get they were just trying to finish the show with a real ending after writing a gay wedding they could only fit so much into the ending of the show) With the way peridot was talking about their relationship in raising the barn there were so many red flags and I just wish it could have been explored more like what happened in that barn how did they get to this codependent dynamic in the first place? Like it seemed fine on the surface but I also got the feeling that peridot was putting on a face for lapis bc her personality changed so much once she was separated from the crystal gems and only being around lapis. And then when peridot said she was always bending over backwards to make her happy it kinda confirmed that for me like a lot of what she did she did to keep lapis happy, or if not happy then just not breaking down. Lapis had been through so much trauma and it makes sense for her to act that way and for her to feel like she needs someone always keeping her together and making things right for her, not realizing that it comes at the other persons expense. I love both of them and I think they both have the best intentions but I think they are doomed idk I like them better apart honestly I want to see them independent from each other in the end but it is so satisfying to watch the angst play out. So yeah

2. Peridot backstory - I want to know more about her life before she got to earth, her manager, etc, I know she is a newer gem so it wouldn’t be a super long history of stuff but I want to see her learning she needs limb enhancers and seeing era 1 peridots (which I hc are tall) and what she’s “supposed” to look like and what abilities she is supposed to have and just feeling wrong and bad abt herself 😭 ok ill admit it sounds like I want her to suffer but honestly to me I see the signs of it already like how she views herself and I just want it to be explored.

3. AMEDOT ARC - ok I really like their dynamic and I feel like peridot acts the most like herself and the most authentic when she is around amethyst. I swear too far is one of the best eps. I want to see them fuse SOO BADDD I think they are so cute. It also seemed TO ME like amethyst was jealous of lapis in that one ep where she visits them but that could be my bias speaking. I think they would actually be good for each other and it would be really cute I love them and they def had a lot of potential. They both feel inferior for the way they were made(at least I hc that peridot does, we know amethyst does) and I feel like they could bond over that

4. I want to know how she got over not having her limb enhancers anymore. Cause not only does it make her shorter more importantly I think is that it makes her harmless. She doesn’t have the ability to summon a weapon (YET, I also hc that she will learn how to do it eventually) and she has no way of defending herself. She does have metal powers but I feel like the damage she could do is so limited compared to her limb enhancers. So why in SU future, when they have full access to the home world warp, does she not replace them? I think thematically it would be setting her back so it makes sense that she wouldn’t, but I want to see her thought process behind it and how she learns to like herself the way she is, even if she feels like she isn’t as strong as the rest of the gems. I really would like to see her learn to summon an actual weapon and learn that she actually can do it despite being told back on home world that she doesn’t have that ability as an era 2 (probs to control her, so her power can be taken away by removing her limb enhancers and making her feel less than)

He’s officially became the monster Reader thought he was. The only fair punishment he deems for himself is to live out the rest of his life on this bare planet, wallowing away in the pain he stupidly caused himself.

if u go w the gojo idea, imagine seeing sukuna manipulate reader using their love for him to find out stuff for him or to help him out n stuff, and the reader hates it but hasnt ever known any other love, and thinks this is like normal until gojo finds out and is so betrayed bc he thought the reader was close bc reader liked gojo back

reader going out of japan and sukuna becoming a good guy (im delusional) n all n finds her his whole life only when he does shes moved on n stuff and like doesnt even remember him that well, now that would make me cry rlly bad 💀💀 - 🍥

Thank you!! I truly think that that is how everything ends in this AU. Reader can no longer look past Sukuna’s actions, so they move on completely, leaving all shackles of Jujutsu Society behind. But Sukuna can’t accept that and becomes loss of purpose and overwhelmingly angry, so much so he destroys everything and regrets it for all eternity once he’s calmed down and realised what he did.

And I’m glad you think so! I’m sometimes worried I write them ooc (I mean, soft Sukuna is VERY ooc, but like, other than that I mean lmaooo), so I’m happy that my depictions of them are right.

I will definitely explore the Gojo idea, but I don’t think it would be the canon idea. Or at least where Reader reciprocates the feelings. It could possibly come close, but then Sukuna’s like “nah, you’d lose.” And kills him.

But yes, no matter if Reader was to reciprocate Gojo’s feelings or not, Sukuna would know and would definitely use your obliviousness to Gojo’s feelings and devotion for him to his advantage and manipulate Reader into giving him information about Gojo.

Now Reader is a kind soul, even though they love Sukuna and he’s told them time and time again that this is okay and it’s for the greater good, deep down Reader knows they shouldn’t be doing this and it eats them alive. Therefore, I’d like to think Gojo would immediately know something is up.

When he questions Reader, they would immediately crumble telling Gojo everything that Sukuna knows thanks to them and he’s not gonna lie, he feels absolutely betrayed and heartbroken that while he thought you were finally reciprocating his feelings, you were secretly telling Sukuna everything. I think this is where Gojo would properly start honing in on the idea that Reader should stay away from Sukuna and telling them he isn’t healthy for Reader — despite being heartbroken. Maybe if you cut contact with Sukuna, you will fall for him this time?

The plasters ripped off and Reader’s view of Sukuna shatters as they finally realise who Sukuna truly is. Completely overwhelmed and heartbroken that Sukuna would use them like that, this would be when Reader leaves Japan.

And yk what? Sukuna becoming a good guy is extremely delulu icl, but soft Sukuna is already delulu enough, so why not go the full mile? 😂

I honestly love this idea! It’s definitely not something I would make canon but something — like if Reader started dating Gojo — I would like to explore at some point!

Imagine Sukuna realising how shitty of a boyfriend he has been when Reader left. He was so focused on creating the perfect future for Reader and him that he completely neglected Reader’s feelings during the creation process, so he stops his plans, changes his ways (mostly) and focuses on trying to find them.

After a few years of searching, he finds Reader in a country far from Japan with a completely new life. Itadori warned him before he left that finding Reader probably wouldn’t end well, but he ignored him. He now wishes he’d listened to his bratty nephew. Reader had a dotting, human boyfriend, worked at a bakery, had a nice welcoming home and had completely moved on from him.

He was unsure about approaching them at first, but he regretted when he did because you had to rack your mind for a good minute before recognising him. But that wasn’t even the worst part. When Reader recognised him, their face morphed into pure fear as they just stared back at him. Waiting for him to do something. Perhaps kill them for running away from him.

“I see you’ve created a lovely new life.”

Reader warily nods as tears prick the corners of their bloodshot eyes. This is it. This is the end.

“Promise me that no matter what life throws at you, you will live a life you can be proud of.” And with that, he turns and leaves them alone. Forever.

ha i dont think i have a single angsty ending and i dont think i ever would honestly 😭 im just a big softy i need a happy ending too badly, but lets say 'fics with the most Potential for future angst' and that would probably be the things you dont see, thanks to the uncertainty around sanji's germa awakening

theyre all happy but i think empty spaces and stuck in your throat have the sappiest endings (the former ends on a love declaration and the latter is just sooo cheesy sappy stupid i love it so much)

the only time ive gotten straight up Hate is when someone who hates jiang cheng told me how much they hated jiang cheng on my jiang cheng fic, like damn dude dont you have anything better to do??

almost exclusively atp 🫡 which is insane to me considering that when i wrote piece by quiet piece, i felt so awkward and clumsy even writing a kiss scene

i think im quite good at shaping feeling and giving emotions a physicality, as well as settling into a character voice that is distinguishable and distinct in fics with alternating povs

oh god, excess. too much description, too many adjectives, sentences that run on too long, writing minutely altered versions of scenes and not being able to just let go of them and choose one to move forward with...i also strangely feel like dialogue used to be a strength of mine, but ive somehow run out? like i used up all my good banter and dialogue and now im recycling too much 😭

thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?

id love to be able to incorporate a character's non-english language but i dont trust translation site accuracy enough to be confident in including it in smth i write yknow. that being said, i do want to write some small phrases for sanji in a modern au wip, and hopefully i recall enough basics of french to make it not seem clunky and totally wrong. another reason id love to use another language for dialogue is ao3 has a bunch of cool little options to make including translations really fun and easy and id love to try em out

well, this fic is mat finding out his fiancée is pregnant and i think he handles it pretty well! i can see mat loving being a dad and he’s def thinking about having kids in the future (see his all star weekend comments) in the vague timeline i have for mat and his girl, they are going to have another baby after baby girl’s fairly traumatic birth, so that’s something that i’m looking forward to writing!

so if it’s him getting his girlfriend pregnant, however long they’ve been together, if they’re in a committed relationship, i think he’s a little nervous but excited. maybe he proposes earlier than he thought he would, but if it’s a relationship where he was already planning on being committed, i can see him getting over the surprise pretty quick

if it’s a random hookup? i think that’s more of a reason for him to freak out a little. he gets spooked because this girl shows up again after a few weeks/months and he didn’t expect to see her again. maybe he’s not so cool about it right away, since he wasn’t planning on seeing her again. but he’s going to let her decide what to do and if she decides to keep it, i can see him wanting to be involved in the baby’s life. probably ends up co-parenting with her, with no plans to enter into a relationship (depending on how this story would go, maybe they do end up in a relationship when the kid is one or two, after they’ve spent all those years getting to know each other and parenting together)

honestly, overall, i can see mat being a good dad and an excited one, no matter how it ended up happening ☺️

Personal Thoughts: This was my first ever batfam fic and it honestly ruined the rest of them for me. Hal is such a cool character and I'm always a sucker for ghost powers but the way the author writes them out and expands upon Hal's were really fun to see and experience. Romance is not exactly at the forefront of the story but her and Jason are still super adorable. I don't know a ton of the DC lore so I cannot speak to canonical accuracy but this is a very fun read and a nice mix of fluff, humor, and angst that I'm sure plenty of people will enjoy.

POTENTIAL TW: violence against the reader (some believe they are a witch and there are violent acts that stem from that in a chapter or two and are mentioned at times in others), depictions of blood and wounds, talk of difficulty sleeping, loneliness and isolation, ANGST

Personal Thoughts: The descriptions of this story are some of the most beautiful I've ever read. Despite being on the shorter side tibyim is a gorgeous piece with so much emotional depth and vibrant storytelling. Their reader character, only ever called by the title "Wanderer," develops such an interesting relationship with Dream and it is always so beautiful to read about over and over again. Reader does tend to be referenced as she and her as far as I can remember, so I hope that doesn't turn people off too much. The author also has some bonus content on their tumblr @the-darklings that I def recommend checking out if you enjoy the main story.

Jujutsu Kaisen

Personal Thoughts: This fic actually got me through the last few months of my senior year of college no joke. Ema is cool and cute but also weird and eldritch horror level terrifying. There's a lot more depth involved in terms of character exploration and world building and watching that through the lens of someone who knew about sorcery and was forced into playing the game against her will is such an interesting experience. So far the story exists in 3 parts and has only just sort of finished the events of JJK 0 but the pre-canon story lines are so interesting I promise you won't even care.

Two Halves; Hitotsu Marugoto by monowriter - Gojo Satoru x OFC

Abridged Synopsis: Juniper Smalls lands in Japan for the first time and proceeds to have a REALLY bad day. And it just continuously gets worse.

Personal Thoughts: Juniper is fucking hilarious and watching her take a no bullshit approach to Gojo's literal everything is wonderful in a way i didn't know i needed. Very OC lore heavy but it is integrated into the plot in a way that feels so natural. Learning about it at the same pace as Juniper really helps build intrigue and suspense and offers such a unique take on jujutsu society. honestly just a super great read all around. But just to keep people aware there is a bit of an age gap (Juniper is 22 and Gojo is 28 and it starts a bit after the prison episode in season 1).

Criminal Minds

Something Like a Star by recollins - Spencer Reid x OFC

Abridged Synopsis: College student Aria DiMaggio gets a once in a lifetime offer to intern at the BAU from the legend himself, Jason Gideon. But her first day on the job comes crashing down when she's fired not even an hour after arriving at Quantico bc Gideon hired her behind Strauss' back.

POTENTIAL TW: domestic violence and abuse, mentions of drug abuse and addiction, stalking, emotional manipulation and abuse from family members, death of a sibling, CM typical violence, be sure to read the tags and beginning notes as they do mention triggers as well

Personal Thoughts: Pretty sure this is the first fic I ever read on ao3. I was in a big CM resurgence and really liked Aria's characterization. The author pulled from their own personal experiences and the story was actually a personal project for them to work through their own stuff (which they do mention in more detail in the foreword of the fic). Aria is so sweet and her personality meshed really well with the team, especially with Spencer (WINK WONK) and I found their relationship development so enjoyable to read. WARNING: the last updated chapter ends on a not so fun angsty cliffhanger, and has not been updated since (baby please come home the kids miss you) you have been warned.

Naruto

Symphonies by JJGrace42 - Kakashi Hatake x OFC

Personal Thoughts: I really love this story bc I feel like it's different from a lot of time travel fix-its. From the very first chapter we don't know a single thing about Kiyoko or her past bc it's not even from her POV until like chapter 3. And the non-linear aspect does a good job balancing Kiyoko's intentions with her new reality and showing why she's so desperate for that change. Also the Uchiha clan is so crazy strong and I always forget. Basically two awkward child prodigies trying their best to fumble through peer interaction. Find the author here on tumblr @jjgrace42!

The Year That Changed Everything by BlueGreenPurple - Kakashi Hatake x OFC (romance isn't the main focus at the moment but it IS there)

Personal Thoughts: This story is absolutely bat shit insane, fuck Shimura Danzo me and the homies hate Shimura Danzo. Very slow building but not in a way that drags the story down and although it follows a large group of OC's they are all very interesting and have pretty distinct personalities. It's not a traditional Naruto OC story but it is definitely intriguing and goes fairly into clan politics in a way that not many people might think about. The author doesn't have a tumblr but their twitter and discord is in their ao3 bio.

Great Ninja's Don't Make Great Parents by YuuTama - Kakashi Hatake x OFC

Abridged Synopsis: Hinode Uchiha is too tired for all of the baggage she has to deal with, but at least she's not dealing with it alone.

Personal Thoughts: A really cool take on the Uchiha clans curse of hatred on a more personal level and how the main character Hinode tries to deal with the legacy of an entire clan on her back while simultaneously adopting every single junior ninja in Konoha. Hinode also gets a little kid crush on Sakumo and it's a little bit funny considering the fact that Kakashi gets such an obvious crush on her later on. But I’m not gonna complain get that bag girl she's got a type and she sticks to it.

Personal Thoughts: Naruto but make your civilian OC the perfect housewife. Another really interesting take on the Uchiha clan and the politics within wrapped in a really nice fix-it fic. Shisui is so adorable and his relationship with Mana is so naturally developing and very sweet to see. One minor hang up is that TECHNICALLY her and Shisui are cousins (her mother was adopted into Shisui's father's family and she married an Uchiha man) and I know that marriage within the clan is more normalized bc of their dojutsu and it's not super talked about but I wanted to at least mention it.

Attack on Titan

Personal Thoughts: (Sort of) enemies-to-friends with benefits-to-lovers. (Minor spoiler) there's a chapter from Levi's POV and I think it actually fundamentally changed me as a person. When I read this for the first time I read it again IMMEDIATELY afterwards and am probably gonna read it again after I finish this list. This is just a really fun and light read that kinda gives late 90s/early 2000s rom com vibes in the best way possible. Be warned: reader and Levi have a bit of an age gap as well (it’s never specified but reader is a first year in undergrad and Levi is a grad student I believe making him like 22/23? But I don’t think it’s ever fully specified and if it is I missed it lol).

Personal Thoughts: I thought this was a fun take on the RE universe, especially considering that after RE3 Carlos just...fucks off and doesn't return. Its sourced a lot from canon but it's an entirely original story that feels to seamlessly fit into the RE universe. The reader character ends up working as a tech analyst at the DSO and is a little reckless but very self sufficient and confident in themselves and their skills which I think was really cool.

Abridged Synopsis: At 19 Strangways Sophie had never journeyed outside the walls of G-13 where she was raised. Turns out the glorious justice she always imagined wasn't all it was cracked up to be and after being left behind in a war torn territory she was certain her life couldn't get any worse. The she was poisoned in the foot by a sadistic pirate doctor and nothing is ever the same.

Personal Thoughts: I discovered this in August, inhaled it in like 3 days, and then proceeded to re-read my favorite parts over and over for the next like month and a half like a mad woman. I still think about this story and the sequel all the time. Sophie and Law match each others' freak in a way that is somehow the dream and deeply concerning. They are so wonderful, I want what they have except not at all, you know? They're truly so weird and they embrace that weirdness fully and I adore them so much. Sophie's character development is so raw and real and so beautifully written. I cried multiple times reading this story and I don't usually cry over fics at all. It's funny and witty and balances the tone of OP that truly translates the heart and soul of the source material in such a seamless way and expands upon it wonderfully. Sophie's character may be a bit...annoying at first for some but it is a result of her growing up in the very clinical and isolating environment that is the World Government and personally I think it just makes her growth and the journey she goes on all the more satisfying to watch unfold. There is a bit of an age gap between Sophie and Law (she turns 18 in MNP and is 21 in the post-timeskip sequel to Law's 26), and it does come up a few times throughout. You can check the author out here on tumblr @fablecore, she does some beautiful drawings to accompany the fic and Sophie is such a cutie patootie I'm obsessed with her.

Personal Thoughts: Flirting but make it weaponized. Homura is so funny and flirty and Law HATES it. I love watching that man suffer positively as opposed to every other way he suffers. She is a very interesting character with a lot of mystery surrounding her past and it's written in a way that desperately leaves you wanting more. Also the original content plot arcs are so well written and culturally rich, I love OP fics that create their own islands and cultures.

Personal Thoughts: I have very few words to explain the absolute wild ride this story is. Oregano (our OC) has had a difficult life that continues to get more difficult as the story progresses, but it's OP what do you really expect. There's a lot of world building and character development currently happening at the moment so it's looking to be a long-fic in the making but the plot is so compelling that you can't stop reading. It kind of reminds me of the way your eyes can't look away from the screen when you're watching a horror film. I just wanna wrap my little girl in a blanket and hide her away forever. Also there's really pretty art that goes along with some of the chapters and you can check some of it out at the authors' tumblr @berylthemanatee!

I expected a regular isekai fic but I was so SO wrong and it took a turn that was so interesting. And our protagonist (who whips out the fake name Shellie bc she's a modern girl with a sense of self preservation) has such a fun and feral personality that makes you really wanna root for her. The author doesn't have a tumblr but there's a user @thekraftcryptid who has done some really cool art for the story that I highly recommend checking out, although there are spoilers and quotes from the story in their pieces so you have been warned.

Dive|rgence by SugarFeather - no romantic pairing, very focused on found family/platonic intimacy

Personal Thoughts: It is such a realistic interpretation of the isekai genre that is unlike anything I’ve ever read before. Elynna wasn't a fan before entering the OP world, her sister was, and her entrance was so sudden and jarring that she continuously deals with it throughout the entire story so far. For her it's not just about adapting to your circumstances and trying to recall canon that she's not super familiar with, there are actual physical and psychological repercussions to her entering a world that was not and never will be meant for her. AND THERE'S LORE ABOUT IT GUYS THIS STORY IS SO GOOD!

Chiyoji is honestly such a funny heroine, she scares professional heroes twice her size but cannot function normally through a conversation with Aizawa without choking on her spit I’m so obsessed with her. Personal Thoughts: Short and sweet and so!! cute!!! Reading this was a bit like watching two really shy turtles try to interact but instead choose to sit in their shells really close to one another. It was such a fun read and I enjoyed it thoroughly. Reader is in the support course and she is such an anxious little mess bless her heart. Tamaki is such a cutie patootie and reader in this story is equally cutie and patootie and they deserve to cutie and patootie together!!! The author doesn't appear to have to tumblr but their is a twitter linked in their ao3 account bio!

Abridged Synopsis: Marian Ragnell is summoned through time from 2014 to Arthurian England, interacting with the legends of her childhood in ways she never could have even dreamed of, including her favorite knight Sir Gwaine. But it doesn't really help that they get off on the wrong foot.

POTENTIAL TW: era typical views on women, language that is very offensive to women, angst, kidnapping, assault, depictions of blood and wounds, torture, war, there are a few chapters with chapter specific tags so i def recommend double checking those, Merlin typical violence

Personal Thoughts: I will admit I am a sucker for the "modern girl falling through time to the past" trope. This fic literally reignited my love for BBC Merlin and Gwaine specifically so fiercely I’m actually a bit concerned for my personal health. The author did a really good job balancing canon and original content and based some of her original chapter and her OC on the actual wife of Sir Gawaine in the legends, "The Loathly Lady" Dame Ragnelle, which I thought was really interesting. One thing I will say is that I wish there was a bit more character development between Marian and a few of the other characters but the interactions we do see definitely make up for it. Especially her interactions with Gwaine (which very much give Beatrice and Benedick from Much Ado About Nothing vibes). There were times that I laughed out loud reading not only their conversations but her conversations with the other characters as well. Marian is a self assured, head strong woman who knows what she wants despite the times she's forced to live in and there is something about her character that is just so lovable. Overall the story definitely reflects the tone of the source material rather well and although I have a few personal hang ups about it, it doesn't change the fact that I've already had to force myself to pace my second full read through despite only finding it a few days ago.

Personal Thoughts: I actually discovered this fic from TikTok. The author does some really cool artwork to accompany the story (and just in general) so I recommend checking them out at frogbee_studios and they have other socials tagged in the foreword of their story. Stephanie is so funny and so exhausted in a way that is entirely fitting for a child learning their dad is the god of wine and revelry and the (reluctant) guardian for a summer camp. It has such heard despite it being very early on in Stephanie's story an the comedy captures the heart of PJO perfectly. If you like creative demigod OC stories then this is one that I HIGHLY recommend.

Personal Thoughts: I really like vignette style stories and this concept is so interesting to me. When playing the game you don't really get a chance to explore Yuu's backstory (because it's designed for the player to be able to put themselves in the protagonists shoes), so I love seeing other people's takes on their characters and how they perceive Yuu to be. It's mostly just Gray talking about crazy things from the real world and the guys being so confused and I LOVE IT.

So more abt my regency au 😚 (apologies if there are any similarities to others ideas). I don't want to spoil it to much so I'm just going to share the tropes and stories I've been inspired by ^_^

I’ve already posted some stuff about John Price (read here!!) , but I’d like to say his story is very much Daphne x Simon coded. I was inspired by the “I burn for you” scene of their story and wanted to make my own take on it but with him ofc. Pining and brother's bfs are the major tropes of this small story.

And now for my future projects of my au!!

Baron John(ny) Mactavish!! Eee omg , his story will most definitely inspired by Anthony and Kate. Enemies to lovers, him and his love interest bickering and driving each other insane. Both of them are hella stupid and cannot tell the difference between hate and love. His story takes place after John's.

After Johnny is Gaz! Marquis Kyle Garrick finds himself falling for his old family friend when she's is in her first year on the marriage mart. Based off of Penelope x Colin. Longing and friendship will be major tropes in his fic, I will not lie I am most excited to write his.

And at last, Duke Simon Riley. Queen Charlotte vibes all the way. Arranged marriage, angst, "I can fix him" vibes all around. Since this story will (most likely) be the last of this series I def want to make it my most serious and treat it right.

I'm unsure as to how many parts I am going to make each story , but I don't want to drag them on for too long. This series is supposed to be my fun lil baby and I don't want to hurt myself over it :3. As ive said in the series master list, the stories are written in a specific order so it may take me a bit to get around to ur fave. I thank and appreciate anyone who is willing to stick around long enough, Price chapter coming next week (hopefully!).

Like Himeno is a badass amazing character who I would have loved to see get more development and see her past more (also I have no clue what goes in the manga so....you can let me know but no major spoilers plz) but it got utterly SQUASHED by her continuously being like "haha omg lol you're a minor, I couldn't possibly kiss you." and then proceeds to DO IT AHH NOO THANK YOU WHERE IS THE SPRAY BOTTLE????

She's a cool character but like....Oof

Like same thing with Mei Mei from Jujutsu Kaisen like she was such a fun/neat character and then--then omg like WHY???

SYNCHRONICITY by orpheusaki ( @damianbugs). We're starting with the fic with the least amount of anguish, but one that still packs a punch. Nightwing and Dick!Robin swapping places. Angsty Dick & Bruce stuff happens in both the past and future, and y'all, it is INCREDIBLE. This author is just. Gah. Everything they do is pure gold, and this fic is no exception. Very much made me tear up and my heart hurt a lot, but I was def smiling by the end of it. This will hurt you but at least put a lil bandage over the bruise :)

Sprinklers by SunnyBlue. Tim & Damian feels bc OF COURSE. Tim is gravely injured and begs Damian to leave him. Damian refuses bc he secretly cares about his big bro. You know, the ush 😌💅 Yet another fic that left me with a lil bandaid over my bruise by the end of it, but man, this bruise was nasteeee. On a more serious note, this was one of the first Batfam fics I ever read, and made me realize the sheer talent that exists in this fandom. A fantastic read.

Identity by Miles_2_Go ( @miles2g0). OUGHHH. The greatest fic to ever fic. Lazarus Pit!Tim and Good Bro!Jason = AHJDKSHJDK. So much hurt/comfort. Love love love. This also offers a bandaid (from what I remember) but the hurt lingers dude. It lingersssss. Excellent writing, wonderful prose, INCREDIBLE characterizations, SUPERB angst....just GAH. I love it so much.

cheating def is awful, i think the thing i hate about it the most is just the psychological part about it, like as someone who has been cheated on before it’s a very devastating experience and the betrayal part about it from someone you love is just indescribable.

i think the only way me personally would read a story where reader would cheat is if maybe her and harry are on some kind of break or something and just a one night stand happens. that’s just me tho like im obv not speaking for everyone since there are people who do like the angst part about it, just for me it hits a little close to home 😭

Blurb Advent 2023: Day 25

ahhh amazing, I was hoping someone would ask for this again lmao, it was the push I needed to actually finish it!

It's set in during the munch chapter. Mostly fluffy with maybe a little angst just from some of the thoughts he's having. It was a lot of fun figuring out and writing so I'd defs be open to doing more of these in the future! Also, it's officially Christmas Day for me here so for those who celebrate, merry christmas! I hope this is a decent sort of present lmao.

Roger had been a little reluctant to leave you on your own, but you’d seemed to be doing alright talking to Daisy and Jo and he knew he couldn’t hover around you all day. So he asked Mike to join him in the kitchen, a little curious to see what the other man had made of you so far. And he didn’t have to wait long to find out.   “Well Y/N is just as lovely as you said. Bit shy but that’s understandable.” Mike said as he watched Roger crack eggs into the brownie mix, “How’s it going with her?”  “In one word, surprising.”  “Oh?”  Roger decided how best to elaborate as he mixed the batter, “I don’t want to go into too much detail-”  “Right, cause you’ve never been the sort to kiss and tell,” Mike laughed.  Roger laughed too but shook his head, “No it’s going well I think. She’s still learning, but she’s getting there. Like we played around with some dirty talk recently. Partly just cause, y’know, it’s hot, but also because you’re right, she can be a bit shy. And I’m trying to get her to feel less self-conscious when vocalising what she wants. She was hesitant at first but once she got into it some of what she came out with was...” It was impossible to explain so Roger opted to just gesture emphatically with his hands.  Mike just laughed, “That certainly does sound like fun.”  “Oh, it was.” Roger swallowed thickly as he remembered how you’d sounded admitting that you think about him. He hoped Mike wouldn’t ask too many questions because even just thinking about it now was making his cock twitch and he didn’t want to be too distracted during the munch. So I got pissed off, probably snapped at her more than she deserved and basically told her it was my way or the highway.”  “I wouldn’t beat yourself up too much, everyone has moments like that.”  “Yeah but that’s not really how I want this thing with her to be. I’d just been saying it was okay if she wanted to say no to learning something or to alter kinks to suit her better, and then I turn around and tell her to suck it up and do what I say or else. That’s not the lesson I want her to learn from all this.”  “Rog I think you’re being a little harsh on yourself. I’m sure she understands the difference.” 

“I know, you’re probably right. I just....She approached me to teach her so she could impress this other guy and he is...” Roger paused again but only so he could take a steadying breath and unclench his hand from his wooden spoon, “I don’t know him, but he sounds like a real piece of work. But she is determined to have him. I just want to make sure she’s prepared and knows enough to protect herself because I worry what could happen to her.”  “You sure you’re not jealous?” Mike asked with a raised eyebrow and a joking grin, “I saw how you were watching her before.”  “I was making sure she wasn’t too overwhelmed by everything.”  “Mmhmm sure.”  “Oh shut up, it’s not jealousy. No, this guy is into some really hard stuff – CNC, free use, somnophilia. She told me he’s even joked about pimping her out to his friends. I’m genuinely worried that if she goes back to him he’ll drug and rape her and she’ll think it’s kink. I need to make sure she understands the difference.”  The smile had fallen from Mike’s face as he took Roger’s concern in, “Fuck, really?”  Roger nodded, “I’m so conscious that there’s a time limit.”  The was a pause as Mike considered what to say, “You’re a good dom Rog. I mean, you say something enough times it has to sink in eventually. And if she’s as smart as you say she is then she will work it out. Plus, now she’ll have more people she can go to for help if she needs it. Tina will’ve taken one look at the kid and got very mother hen about her, and you know Jo and Daisy’ll look out for her too.”  “Yeah,” Roger sighed, some of the anxiety that had started to build at the thought of Dylan easing off. He pulled a smile onto his face and changed the topic, hoping he had enough time.

When he came back into the main room, Roger immediately looked for you, even as he was laughing at Mike’s stupid joke. Seeing you sitting with the other women was a relief. It was like Mike had said it would be, they’d all taken a shine to you and he could already see that he’d be constantly fielding questions about you from all of them. But then you looked up, and there was something in your expression that made his eyebrows furrow. He forced himself to look away as he announced dessert.  “Ooo brownie? Yes please,” Daisy sounded so excited by the prospect Roger couldn’t help but laugh.  “It’s just a packet mix, don’t get too excited.”   But Daisy hurried towards the patio all the same, closely followed by Jo and then Tina who grabbed Mike as she went, perhaps sensing Roger’s desire for a private word.   It was hard for Roger not to be concerned when you rose slower than the others and reached him after they’d all disappeared. He felt as if you’d have walked right past him if he’d not caught your arm. You seemed almost surprised to see him.  “Hey, how are you going? He asked softly, hoping he sounded normal, “Not too overwhelmed? I know they can be kind of loud but-” 

You moved quicker than Roger was prepared for and he staggered back a little as your lips met his, but nothing was as surprising as how purposeful the kiss felt. Your lips pressed hard to his, your arms wrapping around his neck and without thinking Roger tugged you in close, not sure what had brought on the sudden display of affection but not wanting to interrupt it either. He liked kissing you and it felt too nice to question it much. Thankfully you seemed to want the kiss to continue as much as he did, though that did mean the end of it was just as unexpected as the start.   “What - uh – what was that for?” Roger asked, trying to blink some sense back into his brain.  “For looking after me.”  It took a moment longer than it might have before you’d kissed him, but eventually the pieces all fell into place and he nodded his realisation, “I take it you heard about Daisy’s ex then?”  “Yeah, and some other stuff.”  Before Roger could even begin to wonder what the other stuff could be or to reassure at all, you continued.   “Sorry I’ve been so stubborn about things. I made it harder for you. But I think I understand now.”  “Understand what?”  “About why it’s not all about what Dylan wants.”   That was the last thing Roger had expected to hear and for a moment he considered whether you might have overheard his conversation with Mike. But he couldn’t deny that he was pleased with your admission, and he found himself smiling as he took you in again, “You have no idea how happy I am to hear that. Do you want to talk about it later, after everyone goes?”  “Maybe.” 

He reached for your hand but thought better of it, switching instead to rubbing your arm in what he hoped was a comforting way. The last thing he wanted was to make you feel pushed into talking before you were ready and yet he was dying to know more. He wanted to send everyone else home right then so he could ask you about what made you understand. He wanted to kiss you again, kiss you a lot, too, just to show you how glad he was. And he wanted to tell you what hadn’t felt right to say the previous week. That he thinks about you too, much more often than he should. That he worries for you and wants to keep you safe. But it would have killed the mood during the last session, and it felt like too much to admit now. Too big of a conversation for right then. And besides, he’s not even sure how to say any of it properly. Mike had assumed jealousy and he doesn’t want you to think the same thing. So instead all he said was, “C’mon, you look like you need some sugar, let’s go eat dessert,” as he gently lead you outside.

But he did get his chance later. Once again, you’ve surprised him. In a good way, of course. For someone who was so against sensory play to start you’d sure taken to it like a duck to water. But he didn't want to scare you. And he didn’t want you to think he’d overreacting because he doesn’t actually know Dylan at all. It’s all just assumptions based on what you’ve said. So he keeps that bit to himself, hoping that telling you what he has is enough to keep you mindful about who you engage in kink with.  

Quiet falls again but it’s comfortable, despite the heavy topic. Roger could say more but he gives you time to think about it, absorb it all. So it’s not until he takes the brush back that he asks his own question.   “Did you mean what you said in front of the mirror?”  It had just slipped out. He was going to ask what else you’d discussed at the munch, if there was anything else you wanted his perspective on. But the mirror scene was never far from the top of his thoughts at the moment and it had pushed through just as he opened his mouth.   You were clearly embarrassed to talk about it and Roger tried not to focus on how cute you were when he flustered you. He wants to say more – that he doesn’t just think of you, that he dreams of you. That after you leave he’ll spend the next night replaying the sex in his mind, jerking off thinking about you. That he spends longer than he should planning your lessons, longer than he spends on his real lessons sometimes. He always gets caught up imagining how you’ll react to things, how you’ll respond, hoping you’ll enjoy what he plans to do to you. He wants you to know that he loves teaching you this stuff, loves how you approach everything with curiosity. Loves....your enthusiasm. But he can’t admit that. You’ve already had to absorb so much today and it’s been such a nice evening. He doesn’t want to overwhelm you. So he asks you more, just to keep himself from saying too much.

So giving update on where the writing is!

JUJUTSU KAISEN LONG FIC UPDATES

THE YUUJI FILES: the next chapter is coming along quickly and I might have it updated very soon! It is a long chapter, but been a fun one to write! It has a focus on the Kyoto Crew which has been fun to give them some love and explore them more! Hopefully you all will enjoy the chapter c: The title of this chapter is THE DEATH GOD'S CURSE.... LESSON IN ACCIDENTAL SEDUCTION: Making good progress, it will update very soon as well. Just having some rough parts to muscle through. The fic is fighting me, but it is def the beach episode.... MIRRORED LIVES: Making good progress after the chapter got munched by a computer crash...hoping it can update soon! BROKEN IN WAYS NO ONE SEES: Very good progress on chapter and the update for it is arriving soon! It is a very fluffy chapter as eight, nine, and ten are angst...BUT that is the last bit of angst as after that, it is pure fluff from there until the end <3 HISTORICALLY INACCURATE: Working on outlining the chapter and getting an idea of how it is going to flow. I want to take care with this next chapter as I have two Sukuna to balance in it and wrap up a lot of the major points and themes. So making sure I hit all the right points. CAREFUL WHAT YOU JOKE ABOUT : Letting it sit a bit as not sure how to start the next chapter or what I want to cover save a few snippets. So letting it cook a bit longer before I tackle the outline c: MY HERO ACADAMIA LONG FIC UPDATES WHAT SACRICES HEROES MAKE THAT GO UNSUNG The next chapter is almost done and ready to go! This fic moves very slow to start as laying the groundwork carefully. More of the ships coming through, more of the plot starting to put itself down. This fic for me hits its stride in chapter five. That's when the angst is going to start getting punchy and the action ramping up! Still very excited to write this story out! A RUT TIME OF IT A slice of life fic with Kirishima, Bakugo, and Denki as a trio of alphas having the time of their life figuring out their social lives and dynamics. They are going to get into silly shenanigans. Not sure about ships for this fic, might just play it by ear and go with the flow, but more humor and characters interacting, so might be an easier fic to get into! JEALOUSY IS NOT A GOOD FRIEND A short fic of three chapters with a focus on Ochaco dealing with feelings and struggling with being a good friend and a jealous villain. A character study as I feel she doesn't get a lot of love/focus ; w ; she is my second favorite character so want to give her a little love! MORE TO COME! (Fanfics that will make an appearance soon) WHO'S A GOOD BOY (jJJK Fic; will start when Broken ends) Working on the final outline for the story and the chapter progression. I feel this one is going to hurt some feels as it is angst/hurt and Sukuna is a dog. Going to be an interesting read for sure!

LAW MEETS DISORDER ((JJK fic; will start when Historically and Careful ends) Still carefully working on putting this one together. It is heavy on the mystery and plot, so it takes a bit longer...but it is going to be packed with action more so than other stories!
