It should be LAW that people with no background in Science can NOT teach Science classes.
Too many Science teachers I've met were HISTORY or ENGLISH teacher certified, Not Science(one was even derisive about Having to Teach Science at All), and while I agree that History Or English does not preclude you from also becoming certified as a Science teacher, there are too many school districts that are lackadaisical in their hiring practices and simply hire the smallest salary requesting person with a teaching degree and no other qualifying background.
You should at least be familiar with what you are teaching as a subject to teach it, and if you don't want to teach that subject, DON'T FUCKING BE THERE!
its so disturbing how many people get appendectomies when there's no evidence that it even helps with appendicitis :/ hm? oh? no i know about that but it wasn't double blind so it doesn't count. you know. one of those double blind appendectomy studies where we give people with appendicitis a placebo appendectomy and the doctors doing it also don't know if they've actually removed the appendix or not at the end of the procedure. yeah nobody's done one of those so the evidence doesn't count and if looks like there's just no evidence for appendectomies :/ and some of the people getting them might be autistic so idk if they can really consent to having their body permanently altered... but of course you can't talk about any of this because of Woke nowadays...

LOA IS A CULT. Everyone Including myself and those who are familiar with it, know it’s a cult! I know everyone lies for attention or to live in the end because I used to be a big blogger myself. I won't reveal who I was, but I saw firsthand how these bloggers, claiming to be friends in real life, are actually deceiving everyone—they're all liars. Behind the scenes, they're working regular jobs while curating content from friends and family to share as their own as proof. Many of them have multiple accounts and blogs to give the illusion of authenticity. If you don't believe me, create a fake account and replicate the process—fabricate a success story, and watch as bloggers emerge from the shadows seeking help. Most of them have disappeared now... I wonder why that is, lol. It's time to open your eyes to the reality behind these façades and question the true motives driving this deceitful tumblr .
Despite the presence of manifestors, witches, and astrologists manifesting against Donald Trump in the world it's amusing to see that he still emerged victorious and by a whole lot!!!
It's worth noting that among the founders of the law of assumption and the void state on platforms like Tumblr, inconsistencies and inaccuracies have surfaced in their stories over time – there seems to be a trend of untruthfulness, among them (it might be interesting for you to verify this observation by checking out posts from your favorite bloggers, especially the newer ones; I've taken a look and it appears they're all just making their posts using GPT !
"Persist with belief"; A call to continue holding onto faith and dedication similar, to how spiritual groups encourage their followers to stay steadfast in their beliefs.
“Embrace the mysterious without needing evidence." This mindset echoes the inclination towards accepting the unknown and intangible elements of existence often upheld by certain groups that prioritize faith in the unseen, over concrete proof.
Echoing the cults claims of enlightenment or salvation, without tangible evidence but guaranteeing miraculous transformations assures me of its validity.
Despite the uncovering of deceit and dishonesty by individuals within a system built on mistruth; trust and belief persist unshaken. Mirroring the resilience shown by groups, in the face of revealed falsehood.
"When someone blindly follows something or someone else – it's, like trusting without proof of why or how things work out in the end."
“Discover the truth within yourself”. Encouraging the exploration of truths and insights through belief in something greater; a familiar motif, in spiritual practices.
Encouraging connection, with the energy of the universe is a spiritual idea that highlights the importance of harmonizing with greater forces beyond our sight.
"Fulfill your destiny"; The concept of shaping your own future through faith alone is frequently referenced in spiritual communities as a means to claim authority, over your own life path.
“Rise above the boundaries of the realm " suggesting the possibility of surpassing earthly restrictions through belief in something greater; mirroring stories of spiritual groups seeking elevated levels of existence.
Calling upon the power of the Encouraging believers to tap into mystical powers is a common theme, in teachings of spiritual groups that offer promises of special intervention or extraordinary abilities.
These instances provide insight into the use of language, with spiritual cult like tendencies that focus on faith and commitments that extend beyond tangible proof.
Please, there are bloggers out there sharing and telling us to save Palestine, claiming you can manifest a trillion dollars out of thin air, yet they can't manifest an end to war or even a simple solution. They say you can't control other people, yet they talk about manifesting specific people,, changing your family completely, or even your own race. You all were claiming you were manifesting Harris. I thought manifestation never fails, loool. "Oh, just persist, it will reflect like Neville leaving the war," they say, but all Neville managed could very well fall under the coincidence category, just like healing a burned hand, hahahahah. It's baffling that people are wasting their lives on something they know deep down is false. For the children in this community, just stick to a routine, focus on school and work, and foster your own life. While doing so, perhaps listen to subliminals, but don't rely on these vicious lies. Your time and energy are too precious to be spent on such unfounded claims.
Before you start getting defensive in my comments, take a moment to think and tell me how long you've been manifesting. How long have you been persisting in this process? Share in the comments first, and reflect on how little has actually changed. When you ask questions of these bloggers, why do they always seem to victim blame you instead of providing real answers? They claim to love and care about you so much, yet they charge for subliminals and can't manifest even simple things like you entering the void state. They won't manifest for your mental health desires, despite all the supposedly enlightening infographics they share. They talk about being able to shift reality and consciousness, yet they can't offer real help. Isn't this just typical cult behavior? It's time to question the authenticity of these practices and recognize the inconsistencies.
Some of these bloggers are in their 20s and live on disability, which gives them both the time and money to spread misinformation and false hopes. If you're young and still have potential, please make wise choices. Some aspects of spirituality are indeed real, and manifesting can be a genuine practice, but remember there's a reason why 99% of these bloggers are deceitful. They all eventually leave before their lies catch up with them. It's a disgrace that they pretend to help you in their DMs while knowing you're struggling with issues like poverty and abuse. I truly hope things improve for you, but don't rely on this cult-like mentality.
Critics might come into the comments and claim you just have doubts, but that's not the case. Once I left the Law of Assumption and started genuinely working, studying, and ensuring my grades were satisfactory, my life changed. I got a boyfriend, landed my dream job, and even took steps towards my desired appearance with a nose job. These achievements didn’t just materialize from thin air; they came from hard work. I accomplished more in three months after leaving the cult than some do in five years. I know people who've been in this community for a decade—when will they wake up to reality? That nagging feeling of doubt is actually common sense trying to prevent you from ruining your life.
How many times are you going to think, "I can't tolerate my life; I'm just going to shift," before it becomes unbearable and you realize you're stuck? How many liars need to be exposed? How many times do people have to be scammed before they see the truth? The so-called void masters aren’t helping; if they could truly access the void, they'd expose the liars. But then they’d have to admit they're lying too, and that no one has achieved these creative writing promises. It's all for attention and affirming to manifest is not a magic solution.
Let's be real here—your favorite bloggers allowed the Turing administration to achieve a landslide victory, with the court gone, the Senate gone, the House gone, and the residence done. Project 2025 is in motion, but sure, everyone’s supposed to be GOD, right? You people are worse than religious fanatics. I secured my visa because I knew otherwise, I'd be stuck here; you can't rely on the fake law of assumption. Go ask your bloggers why Trump won, and they'll just tell you to persist or claim it's all an illusion. Seriously? We'll see how much of an illusion it is once Palestine is wiped off the map, and all these so-called void masters can do is make a note to ignore the 3D world, loool. It's absurd that they think such real-world issues can simply be brushed aside with wishful thinking. Time to question these beliefs and face reality.
This message isn't directed at the older members of this cult because, at this point, only you can wake yourself up. But to the younger ones, please focus on building your life in the actual world. It's very real, and your suffering will only worsen if you keep clinging to false hopes.
To all the bloggers who know they're spreading lies, go ahead and manifest that my post gets deleted. I apologize for even considering that some of you revise events where people have literally died. Try revising this post or imagine me apologizing. It's time to stop spreading deceit and start facing the truth. Your actions have consequences, and it's crucial to start acknowledging the reality of the world we live in.
Even those who claim to manifest outside of time are no different—they're all selling courses for hundreds of dollars each month, with packages reaching into the thousands. It's ironic, isn't it? They preach about manifesting abundance yet charge exorbitant fees for their wisdom. Just think about it for a moment: if they could truly manifest unlimited wealth and success, why would they need to profit off of your hard-earned money? The truth is, their business model depends on your belief in their promises, and they capitalize on that by offering overpriced courses that are often filled with recycled content. This practice raises questions about the authenticity of their teachings and whether they genuinely have your best interests at heart.
The feeling you’re having is your body and mind trying to tell you there's truth in what I'm saying. It's like they're working to save you from falling into the trap of delusions. You are caught up in loa and you’re actually caught up in their own illusions. Many of these successful loa folks outside of tumblr grew up in wealthy families, living good lives, and got richer with a mix of luck and hard work. That's why so much of this community feels ridiculous; it's mostly made up of kids chasing dreams and adults spinning lies or looking for attention because they have too much free time.
Society keeps these cycles going, making it easy to fool ourselves. The temptation of quick success and promises of an easy life are hard to resist, especially for those always surrounded by comfort and now searching for something deeper than just money. For some, the LOA community seems like a beacon of hope and purpose. But it's important to see that while some find value, others get caught in a loop of broken promises, clinging to the idea that just thinking positively will bring success without real effort.
This way of thinking can will you ppl away from reality, you’re following and worshipping people seeking likes and attention takes the place of real achievements. LOA IS A CULT. Please wake up

The night was young, the bars air yet to be filled with the heavy scent of smoke and sweat from the dozens of patrons that would filter through its worn wooden doors. And yet…already several men had one drink too many. This seemed of little consequence to your crew, earning only a mild scoff from Nami in disgust when you first entered. Perhaps due to the fact your merry bunch all congregated at the other end of the bar together, ordering drinks and food. Hopefully enough to satisfy your darling lover and captain’s insatiable hunger.

To the surprise of few Sanji was flirting it up with the bar maid to get the secrets of their famous cocktails for him to replicate on the ship. Luffy between bites of food with you, and silly slack stick humor with the others was very relaxed. After two weeks of battling marines on island after unfortunate island it was great to be able to just kick back and relax. He’d always held all his crew members, you included, in high regard when it comes to your fighting capabilities. Yeah he didn’t think you were invincible, but he had faith in your abilities to defend yourselves, and you to stand up for yourself with the knowledge he would always be there to back you.
This is why when the sleezeball at the bar put their arm around you Luffy didn’t flinch…well perhaps he had also not noticed at first. Too busy was he swallowing down his flagon of booze in a competition with Usopp to pay heed to the mans offensive once over of your being. He did however hear the switch in your tone as you firmly told the drunkard you were not interested, extricating yourself from his clammy hands. The strawhatted captain stayed calm, smile still in place as he talked with the others, but for once he did not boast of his victory in the competition. Merely laughed lightly, and continued eating, the slightest shift in his posture caught Robins eye. A tiny squaring of his shoulders as he sat up straighter.
Rolling your own eyes you moved to return to the group your new drink in hand, and a frown upon your lips. This however did not go noticed by your new admirer, the creep had his hands around your waist in a sudden and surprisingly quick movement. Pinning your back to the bar a bit roughly, causing you to wince at the force as you tried not to dump the fruity beverage down either of your fronts.
“Now now my pretty I said you should come home with me tonight eh?” His slurred purr felt like hot oil being poured into your veins. It was clear this man was much stronger than he appeared, and the malicious glint in their eyes spelled trouble. Still Luffy did not move, even as Nami jumped out of her seat the farthest person from you. Her yell of outrage on your behalf grabbed Zoro’s attention, several pairs of eyes fixed themselves upon you. Some of your crew still had not seemed to notice but the mans compatriots had, and they now rose and laughing approached cheering their “cap’n” on and making obscene jokes on your goings on for the night.
When your response was to tell him to get lost and kick him away, their laughter turned into drunken outrage. “I said no.” The man sneered at you now all feigned charm lost in an instant.
“You’ll do what I say when I say-” A fist connected with his cheek before he could reach for you again, down in an instant as your back was suddenly against a much softer surface. Luffy's warmth radiated into you from behind as he placed his hat upon your head, covering your view of the scene in front of you. “Oi…they said no.” His voice was deeper than normal, any normal boyish amusement gone. The hand around your waist, trembled softly with white-hot rage, his rubber skin radiating waves of Haki turning it a deep glistening metallic black. Luffy believed in your ability to protect yourself, but a no was a no and if the man tried to hurt you there was no way he was going to sit there and watch. The structural integrity of the bar be damned he was going to smash this man's face into every hard-looking surface he could find so that he’d never try such a thing ever again.

Japanese researchers have discovered that SARS-CoV-2, the virus responsible for Covid-19, carries an enzyme that can act against a cell’s innate defence mechanism against viruses.
This can answer why Covid-19 is more infectious than the previous SARS and MERS-causing viruses, said the researchers from Kobe University.
The team focussed their study on the role of a molecular tag called “ISG15” in Covid virus that prevents nucleocapsid proteins from attaching to each other — a key process to enable viruses to assemble.
In addition, the “enzyme can remove the tags from its nucleocapsid, recovering its ability to assemble new viruses and thus overcoming the innate immune response,” explained virologist Shoji Ikuo from the varsity, in a paper in the Journal of Virology.
While SARS and MERS viruses also carry an enzyme that can remove the ISG15 tag, Shoji’s team found that their versions are less efficient.
“The results suggest that the novel coronavirus is simply better at evading this aspect of the innate immune system’s defense mechanism, which explains why it is so infectious,” Shoji said.
The innate immune system is the first line of defense against pathogens which limits viral entry, replication, and assembly. It also detects and removes infected cells.
Unlike SARS and MERS viruses, Covid rapidly spread to almost all continents, including the sparsely inhabited Antarctica. The Covid virus continues to mutate and infect with newer variants. However, the severity has decreased with mass vaccinations and herd immunity.
The new findings may pave the way to the development of more effective drugs against Covid-19 and possibly similar future diseases.
“We may be able to develop new antiviral drugs if we can inhibit the function of the viral enzyme that removes the ISG15 tag. Future therapeutic strategies may also include antiviral agents that directly target the nucleocapsid protein or a combination of these two approaches,” the researchers said.

Matron seems to be on team ‘the gods are holding mortals back’. She’s sick of the other gods and sick of this job.
some relavant points-
She did not know what would happen to Vax as she couldn’t “see his thread” after he became her champion. Also he’s rash and therefore hard to prefect. But doesn’t derserve his current state.
When asked about the Archearts plan. Says They wish to destroy the divine gate and deal with Predathos directly. Consensus amongst those who designed it has not been made.
Says she wants fate to decide the gods destiny, specifies she wants Exandrians to decide the fate of the gods.
She will not flee and excited by new possibility and trusts in her abilities.
When asked what happens to the souls in the afterlife currently. Says there were spirits before her brethren came and she assumes Exandria’s natural cycle will reestablish itself. “The substance of the soul is forever it will find its way”.
Why did she become the god of death? Admits there is some truth in her just having ambition, and also she wanted to see if she could. Additionally she did so with the help of the one who came before. She first tried to take the secrets of divinity from him. They became teacher/student(?), friends and ultimately she thinks she loved him. He asked her to become a god, helped her craft the rite lf ascension.
What became of him? Peace. “Wherever gods go when they come undone”.
Dows she still feel him? She feels echoes of him in is domains and her work. Maybe she still feels for him, but she feels for many including BH.
Is it worth it? For her in the end? She doesn’t know. Which is perhaps why she’s so curious.
What do you know of Predathos? It was before her time, and the family has kept the knowledge from her until they couldn’t. Whatever Predathos is it is bound to where they came from.
Asking someone who became a god. How do they contain what Predathos is? The same thing that allowed her to survive despite it being unlikely, what she is. Love.
We don’t share the love for Predathos, but we love each other? Love for each other might be enough.
The Archeart is bold and impulsive and wants them to do something, she just wants empower mortals to do as they wilt. She has no interest in breaking down the wall and doing another Calamity and refuses to be part of it.
Are you two willing to become new Betrayers? She is.
We’ve been told to embrace Predathos by some, but do you believe we can undo it? Anything is possible. “Anything is possible for you.”
Could you lend us any kind of help to tip the scales? Predathos undoes and unravels the power the gods rely on and she is uncertain what she could provide that wouldn’t also unravel in its presence but is willing to try.
She offers them her mask, Braius reaches for it. She tells him he’s at a crossroads and asks if he knows what that is and he says that a choice is ahead. She lets him take it, and says I’m a moment of need one of them may wear it and call for her aid. Aid might come.
Says she’ll see them all eventually but first one more question at least: are they to replicate the rite of ascension? That is not possible, she made sure of it.
oh and another! If you go what happens to your champion? I don’t know. I like not knowing.
and more. When was the last time you were surprised? Vax, three decades ago. The sacrifice/s he made.
Mortals are great because they keep defying the gods. And that is a sign the gods should stop forging the future of mortals.
If mortals let them stay they should damn well let the gods know why and renegotiate the terms.
Is there anyway we could help your champion? Destroy the key but make sure to remove the beacon first. As the (Luxon) beacon -in the bloody bridge machine- can change the universe in ways almost as terrifying as Predathos.
Can’t you just cut his thread now? His thread is beyond any of our grasp. (Edit: this refers to Ludinus)
Why are the gods afraid of these? Bc they don’t understand them. And they don’t like to admit they aren’t all knowing or all powerful.
If they should trust the people they fight? That choice is up to them she just wanted to see if they could do what it takes.
Laudna’s fate thread is silver and her fate is between realms, or did but now is connected to other fully living people, turning hers gold. The Matron considers her a victim not anathema. Could Laudna be whole if she continues the path of connections to her friends? Anything is possible.
Matron thinks she “deserves little but remembers what it means to fight for her survival and has her ways.”

Nicktoons Unite: Rewritten
I'm pretty sure most of you reading this know about the Nicktoons Unite series.
Tumblr media
Running from 2005 to 2008 with a total of four games, the series saw some of Nickelodeon's most popular Nicktoons coming together to stop whatever the big threat of the game there was.
Even after almost 20 years, these games are still fondly remembered for how well they utilized the crossover aspect and how cool it was to see so many of Nickelodeon's most popular characters actually interacting with each other.
But apart from that, the games are pretty mid (specifically in terms of gameplay).
So recently, I've been thinking about what the Nicktoons Unite series would've been like if it actually had good gameplay and even went a little more all-out with the crossover aspect than it already did.
And being the madman that I am, I'm gonna make this a 4-part series!
Starting off with the game that started it all, Nicktoons Unite!
So without further ado, let's get this party started!
Gameplay and Presentation:
Nicktoons Unite! would still have the action-RPG style, but a little better.
And for a few reasons.
For starters, the characters will move much faster than they previously did.
Which is something I appreciate the later games for doing.
And the combat is a lot more fleshed-out.
Each character has a light attack, a heavy attack, a grab and a throw, a trip, a stun, a pop-up, an aerial attack, a block, a dodge, a ground slam, a double jump (though that varies between characters), 6 or 7 special attacks, one or two boosts, a few passive abilities, and a super attack that is able to unleash an insane amount of damage across a wider range.
Along with that, there will be enemies with specific resistances.
For example, say you’re dealing with an enemy that’s heavily resistant to energy/elemental/magical attacks.
So in order to beat that enemy, you’ll have to switch to a character who’s heavily reliant on physical attacks.
Since this is an action RPG, there will be tons of strategy.
And in terms of presentation, the worlds would be more expanded than they originally were.
Including major locations and characters that weren't in the original.
But biggest glow-up in the presentation would be with the music.
Everybody knows that Nicktoons Unite's music is pretty weak.
It's basically elevator music, and doesn't really fit the worlds we go to at all.
But here, the music would actually strive to replicate the scores of each Nicktoon.
So much so that I could imagine they would even receive help from the composers of those respective Nicktoons.
But don't worry, Guy Moon isn't gonna be giving every action its own music cue here.
The Story:
The overall story is more or less the same, but has a lot more content here.
First off, let's talk about the Nicktoons themselves.
The team still consists of Jimmy Neutron, SpongeBob SquarePants, Timmy Turner and Danny Phantom.
But this version would see five more members of the team.
These being Jenny Wakeman, Otto Rocket, Tommy Pickles (the All Grown Up! one), Tak and Avatar Aang.
As for why they're here.
I remember reading something somewhere about how Rocket Power, All Grown Up!, and Tak and the Power of Juju were all meant to be featured in Nicktoons Unite!
As for Jenny and Aang.....why shouldn't they be here?
Jenny especially since at the time of this game's release, My Life as a Teenage Robot has been around for two years.
I've always found it weird how she was never included in the main stories of any of the games.
I'm guessing that they wanted the Nicktoons to be a boys-only thing.
And given Nickelodeon's track record, I could definitely see that being the case....
Tumblr media
Though I have no clue why Aang was never included in these games, especially since Avatar: The Last Airbender was one of the biggest Nicktoons on the channel during its run.
Maybe it has to do with the fact that it is was the only Nicktoon at the time at was primarily serialized.
So trying to figure out where the games could take place during the three Books would've been tricky.
But given that Avatar has comics in the Nickelodeon Magazine that took place between their adventures and are presumably canon, I think they could've pulled it off.
Anyway, just like the original version of the game, these nine have teamed up thanks to The Syndicate.
Which now consists of Professor Calamitous, Plankton, Mr. Crocker, Vlad Plasmius, Vexus, Tlaloc and Zuko.
As for how they're each contributing to their team.
Calamitous is who's creating The Doomsday Machine.
Plankton, Crocker, Vlad, Tlaloc and Zuko are each obtaining energy from their respective worlds to power it.
Those energy sources being jellyfish electricity, fairy magic, ghost energy, juju magic, and waterbending & earthbending.
And Vexus is creating an army of special robots for The Syndicate to use in their respective worlds.
Though with all that being said, you're probably wondering why the hell Otto and Tommy are here since they have no notable villains to speak of.
Well it's because The Syndicate have already conquered their respective worlds and are planning to make the inhabitants into cybernetic slaves.
And so, with our heroes united, they decide to head to Ocean Shores and Eucaipah (the All Grown Up! world) to free them first from The Syndicate's rule.
Upon arriving in Ocean Shores, they find the city to be particularly deserted.
But soon enough, they do manage to run into Twister and Sam.
The two reveal that the people of Ocean Shores have been captured by the Syndicate's troops and taken away.
Luckily, Twister and Sam were able to escape.
But the likes of Reggie, Raymundo, Tito and Noelani weren't so lucky....
And with the knowledge of The Syndicate planning on turning the residents into cybernetic slaves, the Nicktoons concur that there's some kind of base in this world where the process is bound to take place.
And so, our heroes decide to search around the city in order to find said base.
The world of Ocean Shores would consist of the following sub-areas:
The Cul-de-sac, Ocean Streets, Madtown, Rocket Beach, The Boardwalk, The Woods and The Town Dump.
And during their search, The Nicktoons find themselves fighting off Syndicate Bots resembling skateboarders, roller-skaters and surfers.
After some time, our heroes run into Eddie, who also escaped capture.
He reveals that the citizens of Ocean Shores have been taken to The Pier, which has been turned into factory.
And with that, The Nicktoons decide to head there.
The Pier Factory would sport a circus/carnival theming to it.
With Syndicate Bots resembling clowns constantly attacking you.
After fighting through the hordes of robo-clowns, our heroes eventually make it to the holding area where the citizens of Ocean Shores are being kept.
Before they can free them, The Nicktoons find themselves having to fight a robotic extreme sports star known as Rad-Tron 3000 (who would be voiced by Rob Paulsen).
Rad-Tron attacks with four different modes.
Skateboard mode has him speeding all over the place on his board, all while ramming you his helmeted head.
Roller-skate mode is pretty similar to skateboard mode, but he attacks you with kicks and swings from a hockey stick.
Surfing mode has him ride a surfboard that can automatically create an actual wave of water.
And snowboard is pretty similar to surfing mode, but does it with a wave of snow that can slow down The Nicktoons.
Luckily, our heroes are able to defeat Rad-Tron and free the citizens of Ocean Shores.
And with Ocean Shore now free, they decide to head to Eucaipah next.
Upon arriving there, just like with Ocean Shores, they find the place completely deserted.
However, they would soon run into Chuckie and Susie, who reveal that same thing that happened in Ocean Shores happened to them as well, and that they were only ones who manage to avoid capture.
And so, our heroes head off to find where the citizens are being taken.
The areas of this world include:
The Pickles' House, The Neighborhood, Eucaipah Streets, Jim Jr. Junior High School, and The Mall.
The Nicktoons eventually find the factory, which is now where The Java Lava used to be.
The factory here has an overall fruit-theme to it, and the Syndicate Bots use special guns that shoot juice.
As for the boss here, it's a robotic fat guy known as The Juicer (voiced by Kevin Michael Richardson).
He attacks with punches, charges, throwing large fruits, and shoot powerful streams of juice out of his mouth.
Luckily, our heroes defeat him and free the people of Eucaipah.
With that out of the way, The Nicktoons finally decided it's time to take on their villains.
Their first stop is Tremorton, so they can stop Vexus.
Upon arriving, they come across a shocking sight….
Cluster Prime flying high the above the city.
Soon enough, they find themselves surrounded by Cluster Drones.
Thanks to them, our heroes find out that with the help of The Syndicate, Vexus has reclaimed her throne as the ruler of Cluster Prime.
Along with overthrowing and imprisoning the current ruler (and her daughter) Vega in the process.
But she’s not the only one.
Vexus has also imprison Nora, Brad, Sheldon and Tuck.
And if that wasn’t bad enough, Vexus has also conquered all of Tremorton and are forcing the residents to work in the factory creating the Syndicate Bots.
And so, our heroes decide to first free Tremorton from the rule of The Cluster, fighting off Cluster Drones and Syndicate Bots along the way.
The areas of this world include:
Downtown, Tremorton High School, and The Neighborhood.
After defeating all the Drones and Bots and freeing the city, The Nicktoons decide to head to Cluster Prime to confront Vexus and free Jenny’s mother and friends.
Along the way, they find themselves fighting even more Cluster Drones.
They even run into a mini-boss against Smytus and Krackus.
Krackus attacks with a electricity ray, and Smytus attacks with punches, ground pounds, flying charges, and when he enters his rage mode, claw slashes and shooting spikes.
After defeating those two, our heroes finally reach Vexus, who has her captives right next her and starts threatening their lives.
And soon enough, the battle begins.
For her boss fight, Vexus attacks with punches, kicks, ground smashes, flying charges, teleporting attacks and energy blasts.
After defeating her, Vexus declares that even though the Nicktoons may’ve stopped her, they still have the rest of The Syndicate to worry about, right before fleeing through a portal.
And with Tremorton, Cluster Prime, and Jenny’s loved ones now freed, The Nicktoons decided to head to Amity Park next to stop Vlad.
Some time later, the team land in Casper High…..or where it used to be.
As they immediately find out, Vlad tore down the school to make way for his new castle.
And he’s captured Danny’s parents Jack and Maddie, Mr. Lancer, and a few of Danny’s classmates such as Dash.
When The Nicktoons try to attack him on the spot, Vlad knocks them all out and banishes them to The Ghost Zone Prison, where they’ll have to deal with Walker.
When they wake up, our heroes find themselves in a prison cell.
Luckily, they manage to escape with some help from The Box Ghost.
And soon enough, they start making their way out the prison, fighting off ghost prison guards along the way.
But right when they’re about to finally be free, Walker stops them.
And thus, a boss fight commences.
Walker attacks with punches, kicks, stomps, and ecto-energy beams that he shoots with finger guns.
After defeating him, The Nicktoons finally escape and soon find themselves traversing through The Ghost Zone, trying to find the ghost portal that leads into Fenton Works.
Along the way, they find themselves fighting off all kinds of ghosts.
This section of the game will essentially be a boss-rush, with our heroes having to fight against several of Danny's foes.
This group consists of Skulker, The Lunch Lady, Ember McClain, Sidney Poindexter, Technus, Desiree, Johnny 13 and The Dragon Ghost.
As for how each boss would play out.
Skulker attacks with claw slashes, kicks, flying swipes, laser beams and missiles.
The Lunch Lady attacks with charges, throwing fast giant balls of meat, and mini meat monsters.
Ember attacks with guitar swings, sound waves from playing her guitar, and shooting fireballs from her hair.
Sidney attacks with eye beams, ink squirts from his pen, and telekinetically hurling rocks.
Technus (using his robot armor seen in Attack of the Killer Garage Sale and Prisoners of Love) attacks with ground slams, electrical blasts and mechanical tendrils.
Desiree attacks with enlarged fists, energy blasts, and various elemental blasts (fire, ice, wind and electricity)
Johnny 13 attacks with punches, kicks, chain whip strikes, ramming into you with his bike, and commanding his Shadow to attack.
And The Dragon Ghost fights with claw slashes, stomps, tail swipes and fire breath.
After defeating them all, The Nicktoons finally escape The Ghost Zone and make it to Fenton Works.
A short while later, our heroes meet up with Sam, Tucker and Jazz in the Amity Streets.
The trio reveal that they found a way into Vlad's Castle, that being a short-cut through The Graveyard.
And so, The Nicktoons head off to their destination, fighting Syndicate Bots resembling skeletons, vampires and zombies along the way.
But along the way, they actually gain a temporary ally in the form of Valerie, who's also trying to stop Vlad.
Although she refuses at first, she does eventually accept The Nicktoons' help (albeit begrudgingly since they do have the ghost she hates the most as a member of their team).
Valerie herself fights with charges on her hoverboard, her Ecto-Grenade Launcher, ecto guns and missiles.
Upon returning to the castle, the heroes destroy the generators that Vlad's been using to harness the ghost energy from The Ghost Zone.
And soon enough, The Nicktoons finally confront Vlad again in his throne room.
For his boss fight, Vlad attacks with punches, kicks, ecto-energy rays, and duplicates of himself.
He also teleports all over the place and crafts an energy shield around himself sometimes, which Danny will have to use Jack to break through.
After defeating him, Vlad flees through a portal.
And after freeing Danny's close ones, The Nicktoons end up doing the same thing when Jack, Maddie and Valerie decide to jump Danny.
And so, with Amity Park now free, the heroes decide to head to Pupununu next to stop Tlaloc.
Upon arriving in the Pupununu Village, The Nicktoons find out that the villagers have been turned into sheep once again.
Luckily, with the combined magic of Tak and Cosmo & Wanda, they're able to return about half of the village back to normal, including Jibola and Lok.
Thanks to Jibola, the heroes find out that Tlaloc is planning to steal the Tikis in order to summon the Jujus.
And upon doing so, he would instantly capture them and use a special generator to extract their magical energy.
And so, The Nicktoons find themselves having to retrieve the Tikis of Dead Juju, Dinky, Caged Juju, Two-Headed Juju, Belly Juju and Mind-Reading Juju.
This race against time will take our team to The Burial Grounds, Dryrock Canyon, Gloomleaf Swamp, Chicken Island, Wetstone Lake, and Gyre Mountain.
Along the way, they'll be accompanied by Flora and Fauna.
Flora fights with nature energy blasts, whirlwinds, leafy wind blasts and vines that sprout out of the ground and either hit or grab enemies.
Fauna fights by turning into different animals. These include a rhino, an orangutan, a ram, a bear, a boar, a crocodile, a jaguar, a eagle, a python, and an elephant.
And over the course of their journey in this world, The Nicktoons find themselves dealing with Syndicate Bots resembling monkeys, emus, sharks, tigers, alligators, wild dogs and wolves.
Along with some Nerbils.
But unfortunately, everytime, they end up being too late as the Tikis end up getting swiped by Pins and Needles.
Eventually, The Nicktoons head to Tlaloc's lair, The Dark Temple.
There, they find the summoned Jujus, including The Moon Juju, who was captured first via Tlaloc stealing the Moonstones like before, having their energy extracted.
Luckily, our heroes manage to free them and destroy the generators harnessing their energy.
And soon enough, they confront Tlaloc.
Tlaloc attacks with dark magic blasts, lightning bolts, summoning giant thorny tendrils, and casting spells that temporarily turn our heroes into animals.
After defeating him, Tlaloc flees through a portal.
With Jujus now freed and being able to return the rest of the Pupununu people back to normal, The Nicktoons decide to make The Four Nations their next stop in order to stop Zuko.
They arrive at The Southern Air Temple, where they run into Sokka, Momo and Appa.
Sokka reveals that Zuko's crew has kidnapped Katara and the three of them have trying to chase them down.
And with the knowledge of The Syndicate wanting to obtain earthbending to power their Doomsday Machine, our heroes decide to head to both Omashu and The Earth Kingdom Village to save the earthbenders there, namely Bumi and Haru.
Along the way, they find themselves fighting Syndicate-Bots that resemble Eastern dragons and Fire Nation soldiers.
And you would expect, Sokka serves as our ally for this world.
He fights with swings from his club and throws from his boomerang.
Along the way, they also fight against Zhao in Omashu.
He attacks with fiery blasts, fire circles and fire fists.
Unfortunately, the heroes end up too late both times as Zuko's crew manage to take all the earthbenders away.
But not all hope is lost, as while in The Earth Kingdom Village, they received a mysterious note revealing that Katara, Bumi, Haru and the rest of the earthbenders have been taken to The Fire Temple on Crescent Island.
(We would later find out that this note was sent by Iroh)
And so, our heroes head there to free the captives.
After freeing Katara and the earthbenders and destroying the generators, The Nicktoons finally confront Zuko.
Zuko fights with blazing rings, fire fists, fire knives, fire blades, fire streams, fire lashes, and fire walls.
After defeating him, Zuko flees through a portal.
With Katara and the earthbenders now free, The Nicktoons head to The Bikini Bottom next to take on Plankton.
Upon arriving at Conch Street, they find the place completely deserted.
And soon enough, they find themselves surrounded by Syndicate-Bots resembling octopuses, eels and barracuda.
Luckily, Sandy comes to help them out.
Sandy fights with punches, kicks, karate chops and lasso grapples & throws.
After going through The Bikini Streets and rendezvousing at The Krusty Krab, Sandy reveals that Plankton has imprisoned the people of The Bikini Bottom, kidnapped Mr. Krabs and has been using jellyfish capturing harvesters to extract their electrical stinging power.
Luckily, she's been trying to take down the harvesters alongside a small resistance she's built.
Soon enough, she sends our heroes to Jellyfish Fields to destroy the harvesters and meet up with the two agents she sent.
Those agents being Patrick and Squidward (who was forced to accompany Patrick).
Unfortunately, the duo end up getting sucked up by one of the harvesters.
Aftering destroying the harvesters and going through Kelp Forest, our heroes find themselves in The Ship Graveyard, where they encounter The Flying Dutchman, who plans on making them his crew for all eternity.
Luckily, Danny persuades him to let them go in exchange for bringing back his old crewmates, which he accepts.
After retrieving all his crewmates, The Flying Dutchman let's our heroes go.
A short while later, they arrive at The Chum Bucket, where they free Patrick, Squidward and the jellyfish, and destroy the generators harnessing the jellyfishes' sting.
And soon enough, they confront Plankton on the roof on his restaurant.
Plankton attacks with a giant robotic crab, which performs swings with its claws, ground slams, and shoots powerful streams of water.
After defeating Plankton, he flees through a portal.
And so, after freeing Mr. Krabs, The Nicktoons head to Dimmsdale to stop Crocker.
Upon arriving there, they find out that Dimmsdale Elementary has been torn down and replaced with a golden fortress built by Crocker.
Soon enough, our heroes find themselves making their way through Crocker's Fortress in order to shut down the power, all while dealing Syndicate Bots resembling elves, pixies and Anti-Fairies.
Along the way, they also free some of the residents of Dimmsdale, who were enslaved by Crocker.
These include the likes of Mr and Mrs. Turner, Chester and AJ, and Trixie Tang.
After doing all that, the heroes finally decided to head to Fairy World to free the fairies and destroyed the generators harnessing their magic.
Along the way, they receive an ally in the form of Jorgen von Strangle.
He attacks with punches, kicks, ground slams and swings from his massive wand.
After that's all done, our heroes finally confront Crocker at The Big Wand.
Crocker attacks with a flying exosuit, which performs punches, flying charges, and magical energy blasts.
After defeating Crocker, he flees through a portal.
A short while later, The Nicktoons finally return back to Retroville.
Jimmy deduces that they need to go the base of The Syndicate and stop them once and for all.
Only problem: they have no clue where it is.
Also, they run into Cindy, who reveals that The Syndicate have also taken over Retroville.
However, their prayers would be answered when Jimmy discovers the Goddard has flea-bots on him, which he deduces that Calamitous had them placed on Goddard in order to spy on Jimmy, hench how he was able to know about the Universal Portal Machine.
And so, our heroes shrink themselves on got onto Goddard and find the main flea-bot.
After battling through swarms of flea-bots, they find the main flea-bot, defeat it, and uses it circuitry to locate Calamitous' lair.
Soon, our heroes make their way through the lair (fighting off all the Syndicate Bots they did before) and finally confront The Syndicate, who proceeded to activate the Doomsday Machine.
Their boss fight has the group constantly switch between member and shooting at The Nicktoons.
Each of the villains' respective dome have some kind of special projectile.
Calamitous shoots electricity, Plankton shoots water, Crocker shoots magical energy stars, Vlad shoots ecto-energy, Vexus shoots energy blasts, Tlaloc shoots dark magic, and Zuko shoots fire.
Luckily, the heroes manage to take down each of the domes' generators, taking down the domes and allowing them to defeat The Syndicate.
A short while later, The Nicktoons have turned Calamitous into the authorities and have trapped each of their respective villains.
Plankton's stuck in a pickle jar.
Crocker's trapped in a Hypercube.
Vlad's been stuffed into the Fenton Thermos.
Vexus has been deactivated and turned into pieces.
Tlaloc's been turned back into a sheep again.
And Zuko's been frozen solid.
And so, our heroes bid each other farewell and return to their respective worlds.
But not before Jimmy gives each of them a Neutronic Recaller, in case something like this happens again.

Well that was Nicktoons Unite: Rewritten!
I really had fun making this one.
Expanding the story and adding more characters and worlds to explore.
You can't tell me this doesn't sound this would be the coolest thing to check out in 2005!
Anyway, let me know what you guys think about it.
And if you could, and me some ideas for the sequels.
Note: Also, I really hope that @nicktoonsunite sees this! I would really like their feedback on this.

AU: Agent John Juniper
"If all the world's a stage, let's set it on fire."
In the early stages of his acting career, John Juniper joined one of the Agency's espionage and counterintelligence units in the United States, with the goal of finally putting an end to Zor's global monopoly. Operating as an undercover agent, he specialized in information theft, infiltration, decrypting Zoraxis's communication channels, and manipulating them. This more subtle and "civilized" approach allowed him to dismantle Zor's plans without resorting to overly invasive methods or putting more agents or the operation at risk—beyond himself, of course. His role was to provide valuable information to the field team, including profiles, plans, files, and encrypted messages, thereby facilitating the work of those responsible for direct action.
At the beginning of his career as a spy, he was assigned to an Agency handler to be trained in the craft of espionage and receive continuous guidance throughout his missions. The unfortunate choice was former agent Gibson.
One of the few remnants of the Agency’s golden age in the fight against undercover operations and illicit activities during the Cold War (assuming the events of EYTD took place between 1960 and 1990), alongside Reginald Crane, though with a decade’s difference. Unlike Juniper, Gibson specialized in fieldwork, excelling in raiding enemy bases and dismantling operations from within, adopting a more aggressive approach. However, his career as a field agent ended after a severe injury during a failed operation against Zor. Since then, he had been relegated to handling duties, overseeing the Agency’s new recruits.
It wasn't necessary to mention that Gibson wasn't particularly thrilled about having to shape the Agency's new "guinea pig." Aside from his dissatisfaction with the way the Agency treated its personnel, the idea of supervising a rising Hollywood star led to more than a few preconceived judgments about the name "John Juniper." And most of them turned out to be spot on.
John was a character in himself. Charismatic, charming, sociable, and with a sharp wit... but, in Gibson's opinion, also a complete headache. Overconfident, arrogant, whiny, and egocentric. He talked incessantly, almost always slipping in references to his movies or contradicting Gibson during missions, challenging his authority on nearly everything. He didn't take his job as a spy seriously. Always grinning, always flashing a charming smile, or, more often, oozing an unbearable dose of sarcasm.
"This reminds me of the time I worked on the 'Masque of Red—"
"Focus on your mission, Juniper."
Until things got complicated, and that’s when Gibson finally understood why the Agency had set its sights on this second-rate actor in the first place. John Juniper's despotic and narcissistic personality would almost completely fade, giving way to the objectivity and composure of Agent Clover as soon as the objective came into play. He learned quickly, very quickly, and maintained the same efficiency in decision-making under pressure that he did in keeping a smile on his face for the public. His desire to stand out seemed to fuel his courage (or his lack of common sense) when facing imminent danger. John’s theatrical skills were his greatest asset in the field. Even in his humbler beginnings, with no technological support from the Agency, his ability to act and blend in was what propelled him to become a standout spy, earning more than one enemy in Zoraxis.
Although, in hand-to-hand combat, he left a lot to be desired.
"It was just luck—oh, oh, oh. Okay, Gibs. I admit it. You win. I was wrong. Ouch—Gibs, Gibs, Gibs, I give up, I give up, I GIVE UP!"
With the addition of smart masks to his repertoire, the balance seemed to tip even further in his favor, just as the telekinetic implant project was gaining momentum. These masks were designed to record, scan, store, and accurately replicate both the voices and appearances of those Juniper interacted with (individually, of course, but it was something). The rest depended on his acting, and with Juniper’s flawless performance, it became nearly impossible to distinguish the real person from the imposter. A true doppelgänger. This made it almost impossible for his enemies to identify him through his civilian identity.
He went on to adopt several identities to infiltrate Zoraxis: from workers and guards to allies, and even high-ranking members, such as The Fabricator (a role that earned her immediate hatred), and he even impersonated Gibson.
"Well, for starters, I DON'T sound like that."
"Of course you do."
As a result of these small successes, his relationship with Gibson improves exponentially. Gibson starts to value John’s strengths over his insufferable and idiotic attitude, becoming a sort of voice of reason—the only person in the Agency capable of tolerating him or bringing him to his senses. For his part, John views Gibson as his equal, someone capable enough to share the stage and bask in the spotlight. After all, what would an actor be without his loyal co-star, who accompanies him through every one of his adventures?
There would be no Clover without Gibson, that much is certain.
Things are going smoothly for both the Agency and the duo, until one afternoon, a letter bearing the Zoraxis logo arrives at John Juniper’s office, with a special invitation from Dr. Zor.

You know what's wild? I was in rat circles for so long and yet it took until I was a librarian for me to hear about Information Literacy (an incredibly key component in any effort to "raise the sanity waterline") and until I was a medical librarian for me to hear of Critical Appraisal (key to evidence-informed decision-making in a world with e.g. replication crises).
Can anyone think why, besides I guess the obvious "these concepts appear to be siloed in an area rats don't work in or have much contact with"?
EDIT: the EAs have to know about Critical Appraisal, right? somebody tell me I'm right about that
Definitions below:
Critical Appraisal: the art of evaluating published research to figure out to what extent it should inform your views and decision-making, covering both the quality of the research and its applicability to your context.
Information Literacy: the skills and knowledge required to find useful and reliable information. Includes the ability to accurately determine which things which are presented as information should not be trusted and to what extent, fact-checking skills, and the ability to realise how well-informed you in fact are.

I hope you’re having a good day and that your mojo runs strong ✨
Do you suppose we could have some mild angst comfort where the reader is a witch and (gently but firmly) confronts Donnie about his indifference towards magic? Like, they understand that mystics just aren’t his thing, but the way he kind of treats it like a joke or tries to explain it with science bothers them, because magic isn’t just something they dabble in, it’s their lifeblood.
Please, and thank you 🔮
Magical Intervention

Donnie + gn!reader
Warning: witch!reader, slight angst, Donnie apologizes, swearing, super short ngl
A/N: December is here... Feels weird...
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Donnie had always kind of made fun of your magic. He always tried to explain away your spells with science. You hated it. You didn't even know why he was like this, his brothers couldn't tell you either. So you eventually got sick of it and decided to ask him about it.
You grabbed a spare chair and roll up to him. "Can I help you?" He asks, turning to look at you for moment before turning back to whatever he was working on.
"I actually wanted to talk to you about something." You answer, fidgeting a little. He looks intimidating, resting bitch face, goggles down, covered in oil and soot. Can anyone really blame you?
Donnie frown a little, lifting his goggles to look at you. "Okay?"
"Why do you hate magic?" You question simply.
Donnie raises an eyebrow, his eyes narrowing with a mix of annoyance and disbelief. He tilts his head to the side, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "Oh, please do enlighten me. Why would I, the great Donatello Hamato, have any disdain for the mystical and whimsical world of magic?" He scoffs, crossing his arms over his chest. "Simple, my dear. Science is the epitome of reason, logic, and understanding. It follows a set of rules, laws, and principles that can be tested, observed, and replicated. Magic, on the other hand, is nothing by smoke and mirrors, a mere illusion designed to deceive the feeble-minded. Why would I waste my time on something so... Unpredictable and unreliable when I have the wonders of science at my fingertips?"
"But it's who I am. It's in my blood." You reply, sitting up and frowning at him. "Science to me is like magic to you. My family is full of magical people, including me."
Donnie's eyes widen slightly, surprised by your words. He takes a moment to process what you've said, and a hint of curiosity flickers in his expression. He leans back in his chair, arms crossed over his chest, his voice a mix of intrigue and skepticism. "Well, if it's in your blood, then it's part of who you are. I suppose I can understand that. But you must understand that my faith lies in the tangible, it what can be measured and understood. Magic, to me, is enigma, and unexplained phenomenon that defies the laws of science. It challenges everything that I believe in." He pauses, his gaze meeting yours. "But I won't deny that there might be more to it than what I can comprehend. After all, the world is a vast and mysterious place, is it not?"
"Of course it is. And I know I'll never be as good with science as you are. But... I wish you'd stop treating magic as a joke and explain away my abilities with science." Your gaze stays locked with his, explaining gently. "It makes me feel like you think of me as a joke."
Donnie's expression softens, his eyes showing a hint of remorse. He uncrosses his arms and leans forward, resting his elbows on the table in front of him. "Look, I never meant to make you feel like a joke. I may have a tendency to dismiss magic, but that doesn't mean I dismiss you. Your abilities, your uniqueness, they are what makes you who you are. And I respect that." He pauses, searching for the right words. "I may not understand or appreciate magic, but I can recognize its significance in your life. And I... I apologize if I ever made you feel otherwise."
"I know you didn't mean to hurt me. I just... I've been wanting to explain it and let you know how I've felt." You sigh, feeling a weight listed off your shoulders.
"Well, I appreciate your honesty. It takes courage to express your feelings and I'm glad you did. Communication is key after all." Donnie nods, a faint smile playing on his lips. He stands, walking over to you, wrapping into his arms. "Thank you for giving me the opportunity to understand you better."

The Brotherhood of Steel don't commit Genocide
Their goal is to protect humanity - not including Ghouls - from Dangerous Technology (Laser weapons, FEV, Replication tech) and try to destroy the fruits of that danger.
But they're not the Enclave. They're not out here trying to make a Human Ethnostate.
As a rule, they've given it a go once or twice but, typically, they're not genocidal. Does the Brotherhood of Steel dislike Ghouls and Super Mutants? Absolutely. Did the West Coast chapter care that the NCR allowed both to be citizens? No, they didn't. Because they weren't a danger to Humanity as individuals.
Why haven't they wiped out Goodneighbor in Fallout 4? Or hell, why doesn't MacCready (who isn't the BOS biggest fan) bring up Underworld or any Brotherhood activity there? No, he doesn't - so its safe to assume that they weren't wiped out.
In Fallout 4, the fight is against Synths the same way it was about Super Mutants in Fallout og - the Synth is just the dangerous byproduct of the Brotherhood's actual target, the Insitute. Just like how the Brotherhood wasn't out to kill all Super Mutants, but the Super Mutants who served the master and threatened Mankind.
From Maxson's perspective (wrong as it may be), he thinks that Synths represent a danger to mankind for two reasons:
They have the ability to near perfectly infiltrate any organization with sleeper cells that can be activated at a moment
Synths might one day decide that they don't need Humans anymore, and instead of trying to run away from the Insitute they'll take over and mass produce
Both of these are nightmare scenarios for the Brotherhood. But the second the Institute is gone, so are both of those points. There will be no more infiltrating (except for DiMa's shenanigans) and the ability to make new Synths has exploded. And, actually, so too did the way to make new Super Mutants so once the current batch is gone there won't be anymore.
Arthur Maxson's work here is done. Now he'll just set up a new local chapter (he has the ego to just unilaterally make one, or he could have made contact with the West Coast and got permission) in Boston. The Brotherhood doesn't want to be the local government, so they'll let the Minutemen do that but they'd mostly just be here to vibe.
Shit, they can't even do anything about the Synths. Not even a deep brain scan will reveal if there is a Synth component, and its impractical to do mass-brain surgery. The Brotherhood pretty much has to wipe their hands and go "we did good gang"
So sorry Thaddeus, no we will not be "killing all the ghouls" because, to be completely honest, there are more important uses of the Brotherhood's time and micro-fusion cells.

Related a little to the elder wand, how do you think the Peverell brothers created it? We don't have much information about them (I don't entirely trust the tale of Beedle the Bard). I would very much like to hear your opinion about the Peverell brothers and their relationship with the deathly hallows.
P.S. I really like your theories, I hope I don't bother you!
Thank you! 😊
And you're not bothering me at all, I'm just slow to answer asks sometimes.
As for not trusting the tale, yeah, the world of HP as depicted in the books doesn't really seem to include god-like beings the way Death is portrayed in the story of the brothers. I talked a little bit about the Deathly Hallows, Death, and the Peverell brothers here, so this is essentially a sequel to that post with just as many speculations and headcanons on my part.
Deathly Hallows and the Peverells: Part 2
I want to note I also posited that the Peverell brothers are the same ones who created the veil that we see in the Department of Mysteries (I wrote in that original post the brothers were born around 1210s, but that information came from the movies behind the scenes, and is likely inaccurate. Since then I came up with a headcanon I like better, that they are the sons of William Peverell, and therefore were born likely around 1080s). It isn't super relevant to how the Deathly Hallows were made, but I wanted to note this here nonetheless.
Let's start with what we do know about the artifacts themselves:
All three hallows are incredibly sentient, like the sorting hat or the Book of Admintence and Quill of Acceptance.
They are uniquely powerful, but we do know of other powerful magical artifacts from the same time period and it's unclear how special they are, but I'd go on a limb and say the results are near impossible to replicate.
Then there are the unique abilities of each artifact:
The wand is like any wand, except more sentient and powerful (more on that here and here)
The stone, which I posed here can't really raise the dead and only imitates them based on the users' own memories of the deceased.
The cloak, which makes you more invisible than other cloaks, lasts longer than any cloak and might (as I mentioned in the first part) allow you to go into the veil without dying.
So, I want to talk about the sentience aspect that they all share first and then go into each one of them as their own artifact.
Sentient Magical Artifacts
Arthur Weasley says this regarding the Ginny using the diary:
“Ginny!” said Mr. Weasley, flabbergasted. “Haven’t I taught you anything? What have I always told you? Never trust anything that can think for itself if you can’t see where it keeps its brain. Why didn’t you show the diary to me, or your mother? A suspicious object like that, it was clearly full of Dark Magic — ”
(CoS, 304)
This implies sentient magical artifacts aren't that unheard of and are likely still being made. We actually see quite a few of them, from portraits to the mirrors in the early books. The question is, how? how do you breathe life into an object?
We know wands are always sentient to a degree, and however that is accomplished should be similar in theory to how any item would be turned sentient with magic.
Like always, I'm going back to the three primas of Alchemy:
Salt - body - the item
Sulfur - soul - the actual sentient part
Mercury - spirit - life that binds the soul and the body.
So, we've got a body, that's the easy part, the harder part, as I discussed with Horcruxes, is literally everything else. So, I went to see how other artifacts can have a sentience, a mind, where does the soul come from?
So what I could find is this regarding the Sorting Hat, a known sentient magical item:
Legend has it that the hat once belonged to one of the four founders, Godric Gryffindor, and that it was jointly enchanted by all four founders to ensure that students would be sorted into their eponymous houses, which would be selected according to each founder’s particular preferences in students. The Sorting Hat is one of the cleverest enchanted objects most witches and wizards will ever meet. It literally contains the intelligence of the four founders...
(from Pottermore)
The four founders who enchanted the hat, literally placed their own intelligence into the hat, making it sound not so different from a Horcrux. The Mauraders Map is quite similar too, as an item enchanted by four people which includes their very essence in their enchantment. "Copies" of Messers Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot, and Prongs... and it got me to thinking about magical portraits.
Because Magical Portraits, like these sentient items, capture the "soul" of a person at the time of painting. Their knowledge and personality at the moment, captured forever. Just like the hat which is a combined effort of all four founders, or the Marauders' Map which has the Maradaurs insulting Snape and even reacting to his specific words:
“Mr. Padfoot would like to register his astonishment that an idiot like that ever became a professor.”
In response to Snape referring to himself as "Professor". It shows the map is much more sentient than we usually think. Just like the magical portraits we see.
So, the answer to how all these are made is likely the same one. If we figure out how you enchant a item sentient, we figure out the map, the hat, all wands, the hallows, and all magical portraits. So the question becomes how would you magically imbue your own soul (or another's for portraits and wands) into an object without using very dark magic to ritually kill yourself?
Unlike a Horcrux, you don't want to bind your actual soul, just create a mimicry of it. A portrait, something that looks and acts like you, but isn't. And for mimicry, you wouldn't need an actual part of your soul.
So, I thought, what irl examples can I look to try and figure out how you'd go about it, and then I thought about the Golem of Prague. I'm not going to go into the story, but basically, it's a legend in which a Jewish rabbi creates a clay golem to protect the Jewish community in Prague from antisemitic attacks and pogroms. In these stories, the body Is the clay, the "soul" is often a piece of writing inserted into the golem or written on its forehead (what's written on it differs between different legends) and the spirit comes from god. So, I took inspiration from that while thinking of something that'll be more in line with the world of Harry Potter.
How to manufacture a soul image:
The soul/sulfur in Alchemy refers to the combination of the two volatile aspects — air (the Selfconscious Mind) and fire (the Superconscious Mind). This would explain why sentience and intelligence require a soul, but the fact that it's a combination of air and water is what I want to focus on since I think the phrase I used earlier: "to breathe life into" is surprisingly accurate.
So, what you need to mimic a person's soul for a portrait, let's say, is their breath and something of them that is a stand-in for their entire person.
If we go with the golem stories, this could be a piece of parchment with their name on it, something that represents only them. Considering how sacred names are in Greek and Egyptian mythologies and how in northern European folklore true names are used to bind magical creatures, this seems fitting. The type of focus names have in the HP books, with the taboo on Voldemort's name, also indicates names having weight magically. We also know the Homonculous Charm the Marauders Map uses recognizes a person's name as a definite, magically recognised aspect of their being.
But then, we don't see little slips of parchment in any of these items, their soul is imbued into the body itself. So, I theorize that breath is used as the name. Instead of just capturing any random exhale of air, you request the person state their own name into the vial and capture their name on their breath.
(for wands it's different since it heavily depends on the core, but in the case of the Elder Wand, I believe this is how its sentience came about as I'll discuss more later in this post)
How to manufacture life:
The spirit is the bridge between the volatile aspects and the fixed aspects, as such, its a combination of Water (the Subconscious Mind) and air (the Selfconscious Mind).
I don't have a specific ritual in mind, but what you need to represent life, is liquid. You can use blood in it, but that would only be necessary if you desire to mimic a specific person. Basically, you make a potion to be the "life essence" or spirit of this item. I don't have the full ingredients list, but it's mostly water, a lot of alcohol (plant spirit), and something that represents the life of the sentience you are mimicking, be it blood or another material (like hair is used in Polyjuice potion to represent the body of the specific individual whose form you wish to take).
Combine everything together:
You'd need to release the breath of the person into the item as the item is soaked in the spirit and cast some spell to bind it all. Unlike with the Horcrux, you aren't really making any oath and it isn't an actual soul you're working with, just the mimicry of it.
So, what does all this have to do with the sentience of the Deathly Hallows?
Well, I think each hallow has the sentience of the brother who made it. As in, I think they used their own name and breath (and probably blood) to make each of their respective hallows. Antioch the wand, Cadmus the stone, and Ignotus the cloak.
Now, let's go into the specifics:
The Wand
I believe the Elder Wand is more sentient than other wands because it is Antioch's consciousness and "soul copy" in there. Most wands use their core as a "soul stand-in" and while this does create a sentient wooden stick (how sentient would depend greatly on the wood and core in question), a human sentience breathed into a wand like it would be into a portrait would make it appear much more sentient, since, well, it's a person (well, a mimicry of a person).
So, I believe Antioch placed his own knowledge and personality into the Elder Wand, explaining it being as picky and fickle as it is. Its unique power is likely a result of its materials and manufacturing. I don't think it's impossible to make another wand like that, which made me feel something is missing, some extra oomph that'll make how revered the wand is to make sense.
So, what could be this extra oomph?
I think the extra oomph comes from Antioch's "echo" in the wand. Harry is told wands don't just cast spells on their own after the Battle of the Seven Potters in book 7, I think that might be why the Elder Wand is so revered. It can cast magic on its own, and powerful magic at that.
Harry's holly wand had to go through some super rare magical gymnastics with Harry and Voldy's connection to get to a point where it was capable of casting magic on its own with intention. The intention part is important as there are plenty of wands that heat up or even explode when they're bored, but they aren't casting precise spells. It's more like a general show of displeasure.
So, my headcanon is that the Elder Wand, if it wants to, could cast proper spells like any wizard. It's probably the only wand that could kill a wizard without a caster using it, so it really does make it a "Deathstick".
(I headcanon the name came about after the Elder Wand killed someone without the caster actually casting anything. Said caster, being Antioch, who the wand liked, because I think he was the kind of guy who'd love to fuck his own clone)
The Stone
The stone, I believe shows figments based on memories, and not the actual dead, and it holds the sentience of Cadmus Peverell.
As such, what the stone does is some very complex Legilimency (not unlike the sorting hat that already existed when the stone was made). First, in looking into your memories, and second in showing you these representations of people. Harry knew all the people the stone showed him and knew they were dead (He saw Remus' corpse in the Great Hall right before he left for the forest). But this explanation feels lacking, it lacks that certain oomph.
So, I like to believe the stone does know who's alive and who's dead, I think it has that knowledge so it could never show you a manifestation of your memories of a living person. But how? And what stone is it?
Let's start with the stone. The tale says Death picked up a random pebble, but throughout the books, it isn't described as a random pebble:
It was large, rather clumsily made of what looked like gold, and was set with a heavy black stone that had cracked down the middle
The black stone with its jagged crack running down the center sat in the two halves of the Snitch. The Resurrection Stone had cracked down the vertical line representing the Elder Wand. The triangle and circle representing the Cloak and the stone were still discernible.
A pebble from a river shore is likely to be smooth and grey, not black and clunky with an engraved Deathly Hallows symbol on it. So, what stone is it likely to be?
I think it's a black obsidian. They symbolize inner reflection, revealing hidden truths, and letting go of emotional baggage, which is what the stone was meant to do, allowing Cadmus to move on from losing his wife by bringing her back. This inner reflection the stone is associated with would work well with how I think the figments it makes you see are reflections of your own memories of the deceased.
As for why it can tell who's dead and who isn't, I think it's an enchantment. I already mentioned the Homonculous Charm (used on the Marauders Map) that can show living people present in a certain area. I think, this speculated charm on the stone, is one of Cadmus' own making, and it works very much like a Homonculous Charm, in that it knows to recognize the names of everyone in the world, and so, tell if someone is dead or not. It sounds like a lot, honestly, but I think it is possible.
I do like to think Cadmus really was trying to bring people back from the dead. He used obsidian for its association with the hidden, like the afterlife. The Legilimency was so the stone could know who he was trying to bring back and the Homonculous-like Charm was to locate the descesed. Except, it ended up not really working and just gave a form to his memories of the dead and not the dead themselves.
The Cloak
The cloak makes one invisible, more invisible than other cloaks, and its enchantment seems ever-lasting. I also, believe the cloak is just as sentient as the other two hallows, carrying the knowledge and personality of Ignotus Peverell.
Now, most invisibility cloaks in the wizarding world are thought to be made from Demiguise hair, as a Demiguise can turn invisible at will. But I think this particular cloak is different. I think it is made from Thestral hair, the same as the core of the Elder Wand. Thestrals are associated with death, invisible to those who haven't seen death, so the ability to be completely invisible is present in the material.
I think the Thestral hair the cloak is made of is enchanted in a way that'll make it invisible to everyone, even those who've seen death, which would make the legend of the cloak: "hide from even death himself" make sense with the origin of how it was made.
So, essentially, the cloak is made from Thestral hair that was magically tricked into thinking no one has seen death (so it'll remain invisible) and has the knowledge and personality of Ignotus Peverell.
In Summary:
The Elder Wand is uniqly sentient having an image of Antioch Peverell's soul. It's special in being not only a powerful and picky wand but being able to actually cast spells, due to having a fully human sentience which wands do not generally have.
The Resurrection Stone like the wand, holds the sentience of Cadmus Peverell. It is made of obsidian and shows figments based on the memories of the user through Legilimency. The stone would never show a living person though, as it can tell who's alive through a variation of the Homonculous Charm.
The Invisibility Cloak holds the sentience of Ignotus Peverell and is made of Thestral hair tricked into thinking no one has seen death and like this: "hides even from death himself"
At least, these are my best guesses.

biology is so annoying to me because dna has this proofreading ability where there will be this enzyme whose only job is to look for fuckups as dna goes along building and replicating and doing its thing and whenever it spots a mistake it is all like woah stop these shoes don’t belong here and then. the WHOLE THING. just STOPS what it is doing and goes back and EATS ITSELF along the dna path that has just been made (including all the good bits) until the fuckup is gone. and then. the entire thing just starts again from that point and so on and so on. and this is always happening. it is happening in you right now. why can our bodies do this but they STILL can’t grow wings

What do you think are good games to replicate kingdom hearts would be? in terms of general structure/atmosphere, if that makes any sense
THEME: Kingdom Hearts
Hello friend! I really think you should talk to @monsterfactoryfanfic about this one, and I think you'll see why in a minute.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Kingdom Hearts Re:Roll, by Peach (@khttrpg).
Re:Roll is an ode to the Kingdom Hearts series, built from a love for the games and a desire to translate its mechanics to a tabletop format. Re:Roll draws its inspiration directly from mechanics across the entire Kingdom Hearts series, reinterpreting its features and modes of play into a customizable format. While there was significant effort to make this game easy to use for newcomers, you may have some difficulty connecting with the framework of Re:Roll if you don’t have at least a passing knowledge of Kingdom Hearts.
This game is a fan-game designed specifically to emulate Kingdom Hearts. This will have a lot of elements reminiscent of games similar to D&D - there are difficulty levels, character classes, and stratified combat. The entire game is also free, which is a big bonus in my books! The game is still being worked on, so you’ll see in the link above a number of documents, including Abilities, Classes, Weapon Classes, and a Feedback Form for you to give feedback to the designer!
My Friends are my Strength, by Peizur.
My Friends Are My Strength is a PBTA rpg where players use powers to overcome threats thrown at them, form meaningful bonds that serve as the foundation of their strength, and try to achieve a goal that means more to them than life itself. It is a game where players make friends and draw strength from those friendships. It is a game where players strive to fulfill a grandiose goal. It is a game where anything can happen.
If what you’re looking for is a game about friendship and bonds, My Friends Are My Strength take that trope from many an anime and game-ifies it. I really enjoy the Why Play? section of this game - the designer is able to give you a quick pitch on the kinds of people this game is for. PbtA games encourage collaborative setting creation and often give your players bonuses based on the relationships they have with each-other. In My Friends Are My Strength, this is represented via your characters Bonds, links you will have with other NPCs. If you like games where each character has unique and varied relationships with the people around them, you might like this game.
Interstitial, Our Hearts Intertwined, by Riley Hopkins.
Interstitial: Our Hearts Intertwined is a tabletop RPG about our connections with other people, the power we draw from those connections, and traveling to different worlds.  It runs on the Powered by the Apocalypse engine.
In Interstitial, you will travel through the barriers between Worlds with your party. You'll meet new friends, enemies, teachers and learn about yourself. You will also be able to visit and partake in events in your favorite intellectual properties or your own worlds ala Kingdom Hearts. In short; Take two worlds that don't fit each other, smash them together, wipe away the dust and find out how they do.
This is another PbtA game, like My Friends Are My Strength, but it’s explicitly inspired by Kingdom Hearts, similar to Re:Roll. Interstitial is a game about taking two (or more) different franchises and putting them together - and telling a story that spans both worlds. It has similar themes around the power of friendship, but it gives your game group more freedom to choose which franchises you want to incorporate, while still providing a guideline on how to make sure everything works together.
If you want to learn more about Interstitial: Our Hearts Intertwined, I definitely recommend checking out @monsterfactoryfanfic's video essay about this game.

Homunculus Research (the kinda scientific edition)
Time for me to do the thing that I do where I think way too much about barely explained fictional science and try my best to apply actual science to it. For fun.
So, here is my biological summary for the homunculi of Rain Code, which will be mostly non-canon speculation.
What is a homunculus? A homunculus is an artificially created, cloned individual using the genetic information of a human for the purpose of developing immortality and regeneration applicable to military use.
What is a homunculus made of and how? A homunculus is created from gram-negative bacteria and human cells through complete recombinant DNA cloning. This technique is achieved through taking the genes of the human donor and incorporating the information into a bacterial chromosomal DNA and plasmid(the secondary circular DNA molecule of bacteria used for gene replication and transfer). Additionally, the incorporation of the enzyme telomerase and protein p53 is applied.
What contributes to a homunculus's regenerative properties and immortality? Homunculi exhibit accelerated initial growth and healing thanks to the bacterial hybridization of their cells. Bacteria have one of the fastest replication rates, and can replicate at a rate of about every 10 minutes compared to the average human cell's replication rate of every 24 hours. Gram-negative bacteria also have a complex layering of membrane that allow them to be more resistant to antibiotics and a more sturdy structure. Bacteria have the ability to go through inactivation, where they go into a state of metabolic dormancy that protect them and allow them to be able to wait out periods of extreme conditions and nutrient scarcity. Telomerase, the 'immortality enzyme', is utilized for its function in restoring the length of telomeres. Telomeres are a protective chromosomal cap that normally erode with each cell division, and it's this shortening that causes DNA damage and aging in humans. Telomerase repairs this erosion and allows cells to divide indefinitely. However, because of telomerase's link to increased rates of cancer, additional copies of the gene responsible for the production of p53 protein is also incorporated. P53 is a tumor suppressor that allows damaged cells to repair themselves before dividing, which prevents the spread of cancerous cells.
Why is homunculus blood pink? Gram-negative bacteria is identifiable for its bright pink color by using the gram staining method. This is because the characteristic cell wall structure of gram-negative bacteria which makes them so resilient also causes the bacteria to display the color of the safranin. Homunculus researchers may apply a gram staining process to the circulatory system of homunculi for the purpose of identification and observation.
Tumblr media
Relevance of gram-negative bacteria in gene cloning and military research. The most commonly used strain of bacteria used in gene cloning research is the gram-negative bacteria such as e. coli for its ready availability, ease of growth and manipulation, and simplicity. Gram-negative bacteria such as e. coli has a history in military research, in cases such as a probiotic when an army surgeon isolated a strain found in a soldier who, unlike his comrades, did not develop an illness from an infectious outbreak.
What is the zombified state of imperfect homunculi? It is the result of cell inactivation that, while it is a protective measure for the cells, the slowed or halted metabolic state causes the low-functioning mental and physical faculties that present zombie-like symptoms, and is currently difficult to impossible to reverse in imperfect homunculi due to their varying degrees of cellular instability.
Why do imperfect homunculi require compounds found in human flesh for nutrients? Plasmid stability in DNA cloned cells is often influenced by the original donor's genotype. Imperfect homunculi cells may include defects in the cell division process where the stability of the human DNA contained in the cell plasmid results in incomplete DNA replication, whereas each division causes informational gaps in the gene and interrupt protein synthesis. These gaps can be filled and repaired by taking and incorporating the required information from a healthy human cell through the process of horizontal gene transfer. Human matter must be consumed and broken down in order for the homunculus cells to initiate this process. The lack of these nutrients can cause the homunculus cells to go into a state of inactivation.
Why are imperfect homunculi vulnerable to sunlight? UV has been known to exhibit antimicrobial effects. Many bacteria, especially gram-negative bacteria, are averse to sunlight. Exposure to the UV radiation in sunlight results in the damage or solar induced inactivation of unstable homunculus cells.
Written, hopefully, as simplified and concise as possible for readability. I feel like I'm forgetting more things I wanted to address, but maybe I'll just leave it here and just make more parts if I think of it :P

Hyper-Species Database Entry #002 | Radon kashiwagii (“Rodan”)
Tumblr media
Species: Radon kashiwagii (Rodan)
Subtitle: The Fire Demon
First Modern Sighting: December 26, 1956
Temporal Range: 156-0 Ma
Height: 111.43 Metres
Wingspan: 361.52 Metres
Weight: 42,634.601 Tonnes
Category: 5
The fastest of Earth’s native species, Rodan are a massive species of highly derived hyper-faunal pterosaur, a true relic from Earth’s ancient past. It is believed that the Rodan species diverged from rhamphorhynchid pterosaurs sometime in the mid-Jurassic when ancestors of the species had somehow acquired G-Cells. It is thought that its ancestors nested within volcanoes and gradually developed a bio-volcanic nature by absorbing bursts of radiation occasionally emitted through underground caves and tunnels within these volcanoes through their lower wings and storing it in their middle crest. The radiosynthesis done by Rodan is very similar to that of the Gojira species, though the process is far less efficient. As such, the species has to also rely on gaining nutrients from hunting other large fauna and it is believed that many individuals currently lie dormant in areas with high-levels of radiation to recharge. Due to the bio-volcanic nature of Rodan, their inner organs can reach temperatures of nearly 1 '300 degrees Celsius. Though their body insulates most of this heat, it is additionally vented through their lower wings to prevent internal combustion, causing a trail of potential airborne ash and magma to be released during flight. The presence of a hydrogen sac connected to the lungs of Rodan also brings into question why such a similar organ with a similar purpose to the one within the Godzilla species exists. Thought it may simply be a product of convergent evolution, the implications of it are much less straightfoward.
Rodan exhibits corvid-like levels of intelligence and can replicate many sounds. The species has been documented mimicking the sounds of whales, fog horns, earthquakes, storms, and even other kaiju. It’s additionally been discovered that Rodan are capable of interspecies communication through variety of vocalisations and gestures. Despite the low number of documented Rodan; likely due to the general size of the species, the kaiju are believed to be a very social species. It would seem that the species mates for life as the first two recorded Rodan in modern history seemed to be a mated couple; even prior to emerging from dormancy. The fact that the original male rodan often spent time roosting near Godzilla Junior and spots he would often frequent after the death of his mate seems to reinforce the idea of Rodan being a social species, even among other species.
Rodan seem to have much less durable bodies than most other kaiju, likely due to the limitations of being fast fliers. Despite this, they are still impervious to conventional weaponry, though it has been show to irritate the kaiju. One major defensive capability possessed by the Rodan species is the tightly packed sharp pycnofiber quills on their underbelly. Rodan are known to be the fastest of Earth’s native kaiju, with a current max speed of Mach 5.2. When flying at high speeds close to the ground, the species has been known to cause “cyclonic drift streams”, shockwaves capable of leveling entire cities. And though the kaiju prefer to often avoid conflicts when alone or against much stronger opponents, they also have many specialized offensive abilities, including:
Supersonic Divebomb: The intelligence of the Rodan species cannot be understated as they seem to be aware of the destruction caused by their cyclonic wind drafts. In fact, they seem to utililize this capability in combat; soaring thousands of feet into the air and diving down at top speed before pulling up at the last second, sending shockwaves equivalent to those produced by a small nuclear weapon.
Volcanic Lightning Ray: The maximum output of Rodan’s offensive capabilities, the kaiju expel radiation stored in their center crest into their mouths, inflating their gular pouch. In addition, they begin to create distortions in the air, manipulating the electric charge of surrounding atoms causing the area around their beak and horns to become charged with powerful static electricity. Finally, the kaiju release the contents of their hydrogen sac into their mouth as they open their beak, the reaction with the radiation causing scorching “heat beams” somewhat akin to Godzilla's atomic breath. These heat beams disrupt the static electricity causing an effect similar to volcanic lightning to follow the ray, creating a devestatic explosive and electrically charged blast upon impact.

Do/can gallifreyans purr? Like, is that something their vocal chords can do, and if so, what's the general social opinion of it? Is it involuntary, or a choice? What's the opinion on gallifreyans who choose to purr? What would purring communicate? (I've seen so many people talking about the possibility and now I'm curious about its basis in canon beyond infection with the cheetah virus and other similar infections)
Can Gallifreyans purr?
🐾 Purrfect Communication
Gallifreyans possess very advanced control over their vocal cords, combined with a wide audio frequency spectrum, making it biologically feasible for them to produce a purring sound on demand. Their capability to mimic and reproduce various sounds, including those from different species, supports this possibility.
Vocal Flexibility: Gallifreyans have a slightly superior muscle constitution within their larynx, granting them greater control and enabling them to produce a range of sounds, potentially including purring.
Frequency Perception: With their ability to hear frequencies from around 12Hz to 30kHz, Gallifreyans can perceive and replicate the typical feline purring, which generally falls between 25Hz and 150Hz.
🐱 Social Implications of Purring
While biologically possible, purring among Gallifreyans, if it occurs, isn't used as a common mode of communication or mood expression.
Voluntary: Purring would likely be a voluntary action, potentially used in specific cultural or ceremonial contexts.
Gin-Seng Cats Relationship: The tumultuous historical relationship with the Gin-Seng cats could make purring a socially complex or taboo action. Given the past conflicts, mimicking a sound characteristic of these cats might be viewed with suspicion or as a cultural faux pas.
Mimicry and Camouflage: Historically, purring might have been adopted by Gallifreyans during their encounters with the Gin-Seng cats as a form of mimicry or camouflage. This could have been a strategy to blend into the environment or to communicate and pacify them.
🏫 So ...
While there is no solid evidence of Gallifreyans purring, it is entirely possible for them from a biological standpoint. However, if purring does occur, it likely comes hand in hand (or paw in paw?) with complex social and historical significance due to the Gallifreyans' interactions with the Gin-Seng cats.
