folks falling all over themselves praising 11 for a completely unnecessary fight that got him taken out of the game for damn near a whole period make me feel like i'm losing my mind!!!!!!!! monkey brains on overdrive about setting a tone and sending a message meanwhile uh they lost and the only message i'm seeing is other teams know exactly what they need to do to get an effective player off the ice like congratulations i guess lmao
no exactly......... pretty sure auston had that handled himself and it was some rookie like ????? even in auston's media he was like... he didn't need to do that fjdkdjdkd. that's just the kinda proof that despite domi's skill, he doesn't have the hockey iq.. normal iq.. or restraint to be considered elite in any capacity, but also that is the kind of stuff that loses games so lmaoooo. throw off your own chemistry and then truly get scored on when you come back and cause the loss.... kinda funny. i'm glad that game doesn't mean much and i didn't gaf abt the outcome, and also i hope he's not pulling that shit in the playoffs but he and reaves are kinda liabilities in that sense. sorry but florida and boston are still gonna be predatory teams to play in the playoffs despite a 5'10 player landing maybe 2 punches on a rookie on a noncontending team lmfao.
another thing that gets me is just like.... when the uncles act like this team is more willing to "stand up" for each other or like . care about each other more somehow bc they're more willing to pull certain performative stunts fbmdmd. like it's 2024 bro... sorry you cant see or choose to ignore or belittle the other ways they care abt each other. i actually think the players who have shown theyre more willing to stand up for their team are like mccabe and benoit tbh. so much of it is just like. this performance that becomes meaningless... where we have to pretend it means anything as if your opponent is Really like. wow we cant mess with them now bc god forbid we have to fight max domi nfsmjdskdjsk. really, i'm sure the florida panthers are scared. i'm sure auston and the team would've taken a win over whatever that was last night!

Hm. Something I’ve been thinking about (since I never shut up about Miguel apparently) is the idea that maybe there’s not supposed to be, to his understanding of what happened, a singular canon event that he breaks when dipping dimensions, it’s more the idea that he “breaks” canon by no longer being present to carry out his own canon events, by wanting something outside of what was apparently predestined to him, and the universe punished him for it.
I broke [canon] once myself, he says, but he doesn’t name the event even as the examples he pulls up are labelled.
Perhaps the “event”, as the characters perceive it, could just be something as simple as by virtue of replacing alt!Miguel he negated the intended effect of the man’s death upon the world around him.
But I just wonder. Because the way Miguel speaks of this to Miles portrays his own wanting for something different as being what he thinks invoked that destruction.
“We all want to live the life we wish we had, believe me I’ve tried. And the harder I tried, the more damage I did. You can’t have it all, kid.”
I wanted something more, but Spider-Man’s fate is set. Any and all events, regardless of their nature. And defying that fate, trying to live a life beyond what it asked of me killed people.
If you alter your course from canon in any way, you hurt people.

Fish Are Friends Not Abominations
The entire Justice League have been on edge lately watching as a giant creature the size of planet dart around the Milky Way galaxy in an almost panicked state. Despite it's very appearent size it hasn't done anything harmful, passing through planets and stars with intangibility.
Constantine on the other hand was freaking the fuck out. There was a giant realms being with a crazy amount of power searching for something and it felt like the universe itself was holding its breath. He was honestly at his witts end when he felt it.
"YOU! What do you have?" He stopped his pacing to look at Batman's traffic light child.
"That's none of your concern." Robin snapped back.
"Robin." Batman's voice cut through their little conversation. By now every JL memeber was watching them.
"It's nothing–"
"Oh yes it is, now let me see it."
As if on que a tiny glowing humanoid creature popped into view ontop of Robin's head cooing and making warbled noises.
Constantine paled.
Robin took the being from his head and held it in his arms, pulling out a batarang and giving it to the thing which then began to bite it.
"Robin." Batman started, voice firm but sounding tired.
"This one found me first." He countered.
"It doesn't matter how you found it, we need to–" Constantine's words were cut off as the large creature released a noise that sounded almost like a whale but something like warbled speech mixed into it. What happened next sent his heartbeat into a marathon and his stomach to a deep trench.
Robin's little creature stopped chewing on its toy and responded with a cry of its own.
Welp they were fucked now.
The large creature's head snapped to their direction, eyes directly on the watchtower as if it could perfectly see them from such a distance and sped towards their location.

Danny was enjoying himself. His new haunt was suprisingly spacious and came with lots of charges who needed protection and care.
The old butler guy, Alfred, seemed to at least have an idea of what was going on. He had been making extra food lately and leaving it out for Danny to eat in a secluded area. Danny always made sure to turn the plate invisible and sneak it back to his hidden passage panic room before he started eating.
In return, Danny made sure to do lots of chores around the manor. Intangibility and wind manipulation made dusting super easy if you knew how to use it right.
Danny also took his job as a guardian spirit seriously. He overheard the bats fighting about not wanting to be coddled on patrol and decided it was best to let them handle themselves outside of the manor. Danny himself hated when people stuck thier noses into his business.
Jazz had screwed him over countless times with her good intentions.
But the manor was different. This was his new haunt after his old one kicked him out. This family had invited him in whether they knew it or not. Also, since the Fentons and GIW don't exist in this world, they'd have a hell of a time kicking him out.
It's best not to let it come to that. So Danny had to make these people love him the way Amity Park never did.
The Wayne's however are rather dense. You would think them being the worlds greatest detectives would mean something, but they kept silently blaming each other for things happening around the manor until they couldn't.
A book being put away when they were done with it or their messes being cleaned up when they came back into a room could be easily explained by how many people lived there. The family entering the dining room, discussing what they were going to order for dinner since Alfred was gone for a week only to find a full meal waiting for them on the diner table? They couldn't brush that off.
None of them could cook.
