The movie started a bit more cheesy and childish but overall they did a pretty good job of telling the story. The visuals were stunning, though the story was a bit rushed but they did a good job. There wasn’t quite enough time to develop the characters and their dynamics but they did the best they could with the time they had. The person who did Marinette’s singing voice was amazing, but I wish they found someone who sounded more like Marinette if they couldn’t use the same voice actress. The lore was a bit different but I kind of like it better than how much we started getting in later seasons, I just wish we got a bit more explanation on some things cause we don’t have the show to give us answers anymore. The only reason I feel like this ending with gabriel and Adrien works is because they didn’t have as much of an abusive relationship and he actually had a chance to redeem himself, but I’m glad he has to actually deal with the consequences. I know there are tons of fanfics about it but it’s so sad that while Marinette knew who Adrien was, he had no idea if he’d ever see Ladybug again but I’m glad that got resolved pretty quickly. I’m confused on what they want to do next cause they clearly were setting up for some kind of sequel but gabriel is already out as Hawkmoth and Nathalie only helped him during that time but I guess we’d just have to wait and see.

I've been a fan of the Downfall parodies on youtube when I was younger and recently relapsed into this fixation😭 I don't know if this fandom even really exists at this point since it seems that many creators have left in the meantime, but I'd love to talk about it, maybe I'll even get to write fanfics at some point. Also a short disclaimer that when I talk about historical figures that play a major role in the Downfall parody universe (such as Fegelein, Krebs, Burgdorf etc), it will usually be about their parody selves, not the real people! I'll try to clarify that individually if needed though.

I've also started lurking a little in the reichblr tag with a feeling that I'd describe as "indimidated fascination". Currently I'm mostly interested in some members of the Wehrmacht, but other historical figures that I had or have an interest in might come up as well. Overall any stuff that I post will probably go more into the lighthearted and humorous direction, but I'd love to bring in some more educational stuff as well.

I get crushes on fictional characters and sometimes historical figures too, but that doesn't mean I support, condone or defend their worldviews or actions in any way (this applies especially to real people of course)! These "crushes" usually stem from a place of fascination with who they were behind their public appearance, I want to know more about them as a private person, like their hobbies, favourite food and other mundane things like that. Often it's also simply that I feel physically attracted to their appearance because I think they're handsome, either that or they give me massive gender envy (or both lmao). I don't really control on who I fixate like that, it just happens, but I hope that this will be a place for me to express those feelings in some way and find like-minded people. Though I also want to point out that not all my fixations are automatically also crushes! Usually I will mention whether they are or not, or you'll probably notice based on what kind of posts I make about them lol.

The Amazing Spider Man movies are probably my favorite spider man movies of all time (Other than maybe No Way Home, but mainly because Andrew appears again so it doesn't count) but like, they are also the MOST HATED spider-man movies of ALL TIME, and i do understand it. Mainly:

The first movie is hard to understand. If you don't constantly replay the entire movie with every dialogue in the back of your mind, then you won't realize the fact that the reason Peter is so weird, or the reason Spider-man acts so weirdly, and the reason the suit looks different, is because for MOST OF THE MOVIE, we DO NOT have Spider-Man. Spider-Man ONLY appears for the first time in TASM 1 in one of two scenes (it could be either): 1: When he saves the kid at the bridge, looks at the kid's father, and tells him that he's Spider-Man. 2:When he reflects over the whole thing he's doing, and it cuts to the second most awesome web-swinging scene in history, ONLY beaten by the TASM 2 intro Before that happens, THERE IS NO SPIDER-MAN. There is Peter, and then there's this Vigilante who's looking for REVENGE. and that's it, REVENGE, THAT'S WHY he looks so creepy with yellow eyes and shit, he's not a hero, he's not saving kids from being bullied, he's trying to MURDER some specific blond criminal. Before saving the kid at the car, he is NOT spider-man, and he is NOT a hero. Also the Lizard's story arc is kinda weird, for someone who isn't obsessed with the movies in a Not Very Neurotypical way, they wouldn't understand why Curt Connors goes from trying to get his arm back into turning everyone into Lizards. It does make sense; He has been working his whole life with genetic crossing, in order to help people, to help EVERYONE. When he gets his arm back and accidentally becomes the lizard, the whole lizard thing makes him go a bit insane, and he goes from trying to help with curing Tourettes or amputated limbs, into turning everyone into scalies.

The second movie is probably way worse, but it's still a legit movie, and still better than both Homecoming and Far from home. One of the worst parts about it, is that there was a scene where Peter met his father (which, i believe was just him dreaming or on drugs) at Gwen's grave, and they talked for a bit, and HE SAID THE THING HE SAID IT THE GREAT POWER GREAT RESPONSIBILITY OMGGGG11!!!!!!11!!!!! If that scene wasn't cut, the whole Peter's parents story arc would HAVE A FUCKING POINT. without that scene, there is NO. FUCKING. REASON to include ANYTHING about Peter's parents in the movie. ALL of the scenes that include his parents could be CUT OFF. Except the one where he and Aunt May cry together, that one is good ngl.

On the topic of Cut Scenes, since this movie would be 3 hours long if they didn't decide to cut ALL THE BEST SCENES FROM THE FUCKING MOVIE, we were supposed to see Max being treated like absolute shit by his mother, which helps explain, i don't know, WHY HE BECOMES A FUCKING VILLAIN IN THE FIRST PLACE???????

the Green Goblin in the second movie does suck though, there's not a lot of salvation.

Thoughts on the Stray Kids ATE Album

Wanted to just randomly put my thoughts and feelings regarding each song in the album because this is my first comeback with SKZ

Chk Chk Boom - Holy shit. This was the song I was looking forward to the most, and it did not fucking disappoint. As a Mexican Stay, just hearing them sing a little Spanish was everything to me. But what I loved most was Changbin’s flow. Idk it’s different from what I am used to hearing from him, but I enjoyed his parts the most. And the MV? I knew that Ryan Reynolds is a huge fan of SKZ, with Hugh Jackman being a fellow Aussie. I loved their cameo in the MV, and I bet they had fun filming it as well (Changbin could not keep it together and broke out in a smile when Ryan was speaking towards the end). As of now, have probably replayed the song more than 10 times due to it being so fucking good.

Mountains - This one I feel is going to take the longest for me to have it be up there as one of my favs. Not saying that it’s bad, but I don’t see myself going back to that song specifically (no hate please). I don’t have as much to talk about this one, but let’s see if my opinion changes in the future once I continue listening to it a few more times.

JJAM - I was moving to this one specifically. Well, I was moving to the whole song. The “peanut butter jelly time” line goes hard ngl (bonus mention of the “I know, you know, Lee Know). I love whenever Changbin and Han go back and forth with their raps. Idk what else to say except that this is definitely a no-skip for me.

I Like It - This song is right after Chk Chk Boom for me. Seungmin’s intro?? Hooked me right away. But damn once you read the lyrics? Damn. But that really is the reality of love for some people. The falsetto of Seungmin, I.N, Lee Know, and Chan’s voices before the chorus? Fuck yes. This is another song that is on repeat for me.

Runners - Chan and Hyunjin are just ugh. Their vocal delivery? Yes. And Seungmin killed it in this song. This is not to say that I am ignoring Felix, because damn. I thought I would get used to his deep voice, but there are still times I would get caught off guard. I.N’s voice continues to be absolutely heavenly to listen to.

Twilight - The song sounds rich, if that makes any sense. I can easily imagine this song playing at an expensive restaurant. I wasn’t sure if the album was going to have a slow song, so I was surprised to hear this one. My music taste is all over the place, but I immediately loved the slowness of this one.

Stray Kids - This one made me emotional. I know I haven’t been a Stay for long (like 2 months now) but it makes me feel happy to see how much they accomplished as a group, and I feel the fans that have been there since the beginning, that feeling is a lot more stronger. After hearing that they still want to continue doing music together (with them renewing their contracts for more years) is something that I am looking forward to in the future. With the callbacks to their older song titles, I’m just happy that they still want to be together. Older fans must be feeling something else right now.

Chk Chk Boom (Festival Version) - I will say, regarding Rockstar, I didn’t quite enjoy the rock version of LaLaLaLa, as I preferred the original much more. But this version of Chk Chk Boom? Both the og and this version are tied. I don’t know which one I prefer tbh. I might prefer the og, but this version is so fucking good I can imagine myself not caring which version gets played.
