I’ve come with another Fan-Overblot I was intending to stop at Cater cause he was my favorite plus again *points to Overblot watchlist he should be on*

But I was listening to Novocaine, blacked out, and a Trey Overblot was on my screen

I might make this a design series at this point no promises though Anyways I’ve jokingly nicknamed him the Bone Fairy cause of that one Tumblr post pointing out its potential existence and someone put Trey over it (i dont have ether image saved) and my OB!Trey is essentially like a much larger and more hostile Tooth Fairy

I mean I seriously gave him a toothbrush as a weapon (not fully in frame but he’s got it)

Now there’s me talking about the design again + Lineart only bonus under the cut, I intended to include Cater’s in my OB!Cater design post but I forgot so yeah his linearts there too

Onto inspiration and stuff for the design:

My inspirations where mainly dentists,

(because I heard Novocaine for the first time since becoming a TWST fan, I’ve heard the song in general before, and as I listened my brain immediately started pointing blinking arrows to Trey like “HmMM DOESNT THAT SOUND LIKE SOMEONE FROM THE NEW GAME YOU LIKE? HMMMMM? HMMMMMMMMMMMMMM?”)

Alongside Tooth Fairy from Reverse: 1999 (mainly cause of the dentists), and The Mad Hatter

As for why I didn’t give him glasses, for one: it felt like they made his face too crowded with everything added on and two

Azul has glasses yet his Overblot doesn’t have glasses, just saying

(Yes it could be just because he’s an octopus and glasses don’t work in the sea but it’s 5x funnier to imagine Overblotting temporarily improves your eyesight because it doesn’t like nerds)

As for the blot design and placement for OB!Trey it is also more willy-nilly for his arms it’s kinda just slapped on like Cater’s was

but I also tried to make teeth like designs out of it, I don’t know if that’s actually possible but hey I don’t know if diamond hair or eyes are possible with Overblotting *stares at OB!Cater* so what do I know

With his face I also attempted to mimic Tattoos like how pretty much every canon Overblot is (even though the canon ones look a lot like lace or fishnet) with the large clover over his eye and the entire side of his face being covered with teeth markings (that sounds sus out of context-)

I don’t know how Trey would Overblot I just know he has the requirements and my OB!Trey would be a fucking nightmare especially if teaming up with OB!Cater like just you see a bunch of armored Cater clones with stitched smiles approaching you with pliers as they’re after your teeth it sounds ridiculous until you realize that Trey’s after your teeth and plans on leading you bleeding out unlike a NORMAL Overblotter who’d just squish you + OB!Cater’s clones are like a hydra but instead of it just being heads its the whole clone so if you where to kill one three more spawn in place so you have that.

Plus he covers more ground with the Cater army

And if he teams up with Riddle it’s just gonna be:

OB!Riddle: “OFF WITH ALL YOUR HEADS”

I was just curious as to why you don't like IWSYNTTR. Like what exactly didn't appeal to you? (Cause I have been asked this and haven't been able to articulate it into words)

I think I liked it enough to bookmark the fic while reading it. But it didnt stick with me much at all for a variety of reasons.

First of all I am not big on such massive displays of emotions, I dont particularly vibe with stories where celebs air out their confessions or use the stage at events and concerts to confess to people. Its just not my thing and I prefer much more personal and private moments. I also felt like Chuuya's side of the story felt very meh to me in comparison.

Secondly, there were quite a few dropped plot points or aspects that were brought up and that went nowhere. Again, its not a big deal in terms of a fanfic and doesnt take away from the writing in general. This isnt a published and polished book after all. But I was mildly frustrated at the lack of resolution in some cases.

Lastly I have a preference for a certain atmosphere and not every work of fiction has that. I cannot reasonably expect people to cater to my very specific taste in terms of atmosphere. Iwsynttr simply doesnt have the atmosphere that I need to fully love the story and thats a me thing.

There is no such thing as The Soukoku Fanfic. Everyone likes a different aspect of their dynamic and everyone explores a different aspect and with every new book in canon the way soukoku exists changes a little bit more.

I had a breakdown earlier because I've been so overstimulated by people and I'm not reaching basic goals like "clean room over break" even though the break in reference was summer break and i'm nearly done with winter break. and i have alot of other things i gotta do to but every time i'm surrounded by people their emotions and issues and wants and needs are pasted over mine and i forget everything. i have finally stopped going out of my way to cater to unreasonable demands or expectations, like, it's not my job to make someone happy when they can't even use their words like a grown up, but since they'll still sigh and snap and do anxious things around me i'm still being totally overcome by their shit energy

so anyway ive been getting increasingly stressed

and i broke down and said i didnt want to socialize i didnt want to go to amtgard i didn't want to go to the store i didn't want to go back to work i just want to do nothing and be able to have a clear fucking thought, and that i dont have a rewards center in my brain the way most people do so finishing tasks doesnt make me feel relief.

and i brought up that my room being a mess makes me stressed every day and adds to my misery and i hate that i can't even figure out how to do that and even when i do that i'm still not even fully moved in here and so a clear room means space for living room stuff to clutter it, and then a clear living room means space for garage stuff to clutter it, and people keep giving me shit i dont need or want and it keeps building and i keep building piles of random shit arou d me and i can't even do the basics of tidying and my husband said he'd help and i started crying and said i didn't want to make him do everything for me.

and my husband said that he doesn't want to be disabled either, and he knows i would do it if i could, because obviously i care about it even if it isn't rewarding, and that it will make my life easier even if i don't feel like i succeeded by it being clean because it's making my life worse messy.

and he said he doesn't mind doing the things i struggle with for or with me, because i do the things he struggles with for or with him, and we can work together and also i do that other thing he likes which makes it all worth it anyway.

and my dudes, i have the best frickin husband in the world. i've spent my entire life not understanding why i work harder than everyone around me and get less done, and this person comes in and is helpful and actually shares a workload with me, my workload, and doesn't resent me for it. he cooks my meals and washes the dishes and helps me with nearly everything in my life. and i drive us all over the state so he can be in tourneys and i talk to people about his knighting and make sure that he has his medication and talk him through his rough patches too. and i love him unconditionally, and he loves me unconditionally. and we make sure to set time aside to be alone together and talk and cuddle every night even when he isn't staying in my room with me or is staying up for a few more hours and has stuff to do. and he takes care of our cats and i adopt more cats and pay their vet bills while he feeds them and waters them and teaches them life skills.

he's the best. and i feel so much better because we had this talk.

Because nonnie, having an entire website act like this one pretend thing is real can be disorientating even if the words on the Google search page say that thing doesn't exist, especially before there were articles specifying it was just a joke. Hell, i don't have any particular health condition that would require this type of tagging for my own continued wellbeing, but it was still extremely disorientating to log on one day and see everyone talking about this one thing as if it were a fully fledged movie while at the same time being told it didn't actually exist. I can only imagine how it felt like to people who are liable to experience hardship when confronted with this type of scenario.

And the people who have those health conditions should be able to go about their life without fear.

Hi yes so sorry it took me a while to get around to this I didn't see our inbox!

But yes!! Torchwood is a show (with quite a few official audio drama submissions!!)!! It's a spin-off of Doctor Who focusing on/mainly playing alongsise the David Tennant Era!!

I'll summarize the plot real quick because omg this show is one of our favourite ones ever it's so silly and gay and I've been wanting to ramble abt this for ages though I can't guarantee that this is comprehensive, also some general trigger warnings for the show at the bottom

Basically, it's about the Torchwood Institute, specifically Torchwood Team 3, situated in Cardiff! Torchwood exists to protect humanity from alien threats, so the show is build around hunting down different aliens, Supernatural style, with a lose plot for each season. There's 5 team members/Main Characters, a singular braincell, and ALL the bisexuality (seriously, there is no fully straight Main Character). Also, while she doesnt get much screentime they have a pet pterodactyl and she's the best ever! It has very openly gay Relationships! While having previous knowledge of a lot of Doctor Who things is definitely very helpful in understanding everything properly, it can technically also be watched as a stand-alone, though a lot of context won't be there if you do because it does directly reference what happens in Doctor Who a few times

Conpared to Doctor Who the general themes are much more mature/catering to a more mature audience, theres a lot of NSFW themes, violence blood and death, and there are S/A themes throughout the show. And it does have One transphobic joke, though the actor of the character who made it is a very very aggressive Trans Ally (And an absolutely gay icon!)

Overall it's not for everyone but its a very fun show if that's your niche!!

I’m the anon that said that and while I don’t understand the appeal of it, I’d never want to keep people from writing what they want. You’re allowed to ship the Corinthian with whoever you want, obviously. I’m just mad that mlm and nblm finally got a a cool and interesting character and people immediately jumped to only shipping him with fem characters/ocs or only writing f!reader because he’s suddenly pansexual. This whole day (actually, week) was just me thinking to myself- how people are just using me. And im fully aware of that- but i am letting them bcs i feel like thats the only way i can contribute to them.
