Honestly, though, JK Rowling told us what type of person she was from the very beginning by the way she treats Hufflepuffs. They’re background characters — never taken particularly seriously. They’re martyrs or unimportant. The main characters and the villains alike have no respect for them.
JK Rowling took the characters who value things like kindness, honesty, and loyalty, and she made them a joke. They’ll never measure up against the brave or clever or cunning. She created a culture where being kind or loyal, makes you a leftover.
She told us what her values were from the very beginning.

In a world where there is a truth serum you can just drink, and people can literally pull out their memories for others to look at Harry Potter has the worst legal system I’ve ever heard of. And I live in America.

Every fucking time I see something about how the JoKe has opened her mouth again, I find new levels of disgust.
I just saw the whole "Voldemort is incapable of love" thing and seriously fuck that on so many levels with so many garden tools.
Just because she can't feel love doesn't mean she should make yet another wild assertion that a loveless conception means the child is incapable of feeling love.
This is another example of her twisted BS - just like "but house elves LOVE being slaves"

Opinion on the names of the Potter children
{RANT}
So, I hate the original names for Harry and Ginny's children, Jk Rowling really fucked up with the names (she fucked up a lot of things). So, I want to show the changes I would make to the names and why. Please note, I'm not really a Harry Potter fan of any sort, I've never really been a part of this fandom, so take everything I say with a grain of salt.
James Sirius Potter - Altair Sirius Potter - - - I don't have any qualms with his middle name being Sirius, as it is obvious that Harry and Sirius were close and Harry would obviously want to honour his godfather. However, I'm not a fan of his first name being James, due to the fact that Harry's middle name is already James, so his father has already been honoured through Harry himself. Also, I'm not a fan of children's first names being the names of other relatives, as it takes away their individuality as a person and in this case, makes the character less recognizable, as you have to say the middle name for people to recognize who you are talking about. So, I've chosen to name him Altair, because Altair is the name of a constellation and means "flying eagle", suggesting he is free spirited, already giving the audience an image of his character. It also further honours Sirius as his name is also a constellation.
Lily Luna Potter - Diana Lily Potter - - - Let's start with her middle name. Luna, nothing wrong with the name. I've heard people say it is supposed to represent Remus, due to the moon association, which I think is sweet, but has some issues with it. There is already a character called Luna, and when I first read the book I thought that is who the child was named after. Also, again, same thing as before with her first name, I get Harry wanting to honour his mother, but I don't think it should be her first name. I think Lily should be her middle name instead, so Harry still gets to honour his mother while also not taking the child's individuality as a character. I've chosen her first name to be Diana for several reasons: Diana means divine and was the name of a Roman goddess of many areas, one being the moon. So, we still have that moon correlation for Remus while also giving the child a unique name to represent her to the audience.
Albus Severus Potter - Anthony ???? Potter - - - This one is a lot, which is why I left it for last. This kid's name has a lot of problems. Both his first name and middle name are the names of other people. Also, why would Harry and Ginny ever give their child the middle name Severus? What, because he was secretly protecting Harry? Ignoring the fact that he was an absolute prick to Harry every time he had the chance, along with mistreating and basically bullying many of Harry's classmates (eg. Neville). He was unnecessarily cruel to literal children due to his own issues, and despite his last minute sacrifice, I don't believe he deserves to have a child named after him. Also, Albus. While the name itself is nice, I know a lot of the fandom hates Dumbledore due to how he withholds things that could have assisted in ending both Wizarding wars faster and because of the way he used the people around him for his own gain. However, we should take into consideration that Harry probably wouldn't realise this, and Albus' mistreatment is nowhere near as outward as Severus' was, so maybe Harry would want to respect and honour the greatest wizard of his time by naming his child after him. So, the child's name, first name I chose to be Anthony because it means "priceless one", which I think helps build up this child to be of importance to the audience for when he becomes the next main character in Cursed child (I know nothing about cursed child, mind you). Also, again, it makes him stand out by having his own unique name, which is important for characters, especially a main character. However, I'm unsure of his middle name. On one hand, it could just be Albus, as I have said before that Harry would most likely want to honour the greatest wizard who he most likely thought was like a mentor to him, someone to look up to during his time at Hogwarts. However, I also would like to remind you that Ginny is also the mother of this child, wouldn't she maybe want to also honour someone she holds close herself. Like, maybe her own father (I know he's not dead)? I would say her brother Fred, but I think there is already a child named after Fred, the child of George, although I am not sure. Or do you think that she would agree to the name Albus, since she most likely also saw Dumbledore as a powerful wizard who protected them and was worthy of respect. Maybe there are other people that Harry and Ginny held close that they would want to respect, friends or family they've lost over the years.
I would say name him after Remus, but along with their daughter's name being a correlation to him, I would imagine Harry would want to keep this name to Teddy Jr, since Remus had been his father.
Do you have any suggestions or opinions? Maybe different ideas for names of these characters?

It's really simple. If you're born with a vagina and you naturally have elevated testosterone levels, you're a man. If you have a vagina and you take testosterone, you're a woman. But also if you have a vagina, you'll never be a man. But also if you have higher testosterone then you were never a woman. Woman never yes man a vagina testosterone no was an elevated. Vagina man.

JK Rowling being a Holocaust denier wasn’t on my 2024 bingo card but in hindsight it probably should have been.
At this point I don’t care how much Harry Potter means to you, I don’t care if it saved your life, if you think having some dumb fucking House scarf from a made up fantasy series is more important than calling out a white supremacist, transphobic, ableist hag then YOU are part of the problem and you are just as bad as she is.

Okay, I hate JK Rowling, but can we take a moment to appreciate that she made a creature that represented depression and said “chocolate will fix it”. Like, the energy of that is immaculate.

i am so fucking infuriated that the same leftists who have been posting the protocols, and reblogging news literally direct from hamas, are now acting all righteous because they get to call out j.k rowling for her latest bout of transphobic antisemitism. they feel so good that they're "standing up for victims of the holocaust", while they've spent the past six months weaponizing the holocaust to attack jews.
if you're only calling it out when the poster is a terf or right-wing bigot posting misinformation on twitter, but not when jews are being stabbed in the streets, then congratulations, your activism is worthless! you can stop trying to convince yourself you would have been against the holocaust when you've been dead fucking silent about the jews who are dying now.

Always an experience watching the leftism leave FNAF fans when someone mentions that Scott Cawthon financially backed fascist politicians.
The switch from posting hardline leftist tweets about boycotts and signal boosts and critical takedowns of politicians and celebrities to ‘ohhh, well. everyone makes mistakes. who can blame him, listen he. he donated money to gay charities too. that makes it ok! a millionaire in his forties is allowed to have political beliefs. does it even matter? just let it go!’ is whiplash inducing. The antivaxxer celebrities have got to go, but this one horror dev who quietly handed wads of cash to antivax lawmakers? He’s chill, he can stay.
The charity thing is so funny too because suddenly utilitarian positive-negative point counting is the way to go. Maybe an abacus would help calculate the net good of donating to the Trevor Project minus donating thousands of dollars to Mitch McConnell and Donald Trump. -10 points if I push a kid in a lake but +11 points if I help an old lady across the street, so I’m chill. You can’t judge me. Hey, maybe. Just don’t push a kid in the lake period. How fucking low is the bar when we’re excusing maxing out the possible dollar amount of donations to Mitch fucking McConnell. That should be like. Default you’re a bad person.
