♡ If You Struggle To Keep A Notebook Or Journal; I Have Some Tips!! ♡

• STOP TRYING TO ORGANIZE. It doesn't matter how organized your journals are. You can't take on the task of building the habit, Keeping It Organized, Keeping Your Thoughts Organized Enough To Organize Them Into A Journal, Ect. All at once!! Just WRITE. Doesn't have to even be coherent or spelled write. Just PUT IT IN THE NOTEBOOK.

• START OUT SIMPLE. You're not being graded. Don't treat it like an assignment! Just write however feels right to you. It's YOUR journal, it should be a reflection of the mess in your mind you're trying to untangle. Not a school presentation.

• STUCK? TRY WORD VOMITING. Literally just write. Obviously you can take breaks, but just write down words. They can be related or not. It can be phrases, lyrics, single words, jokes, something you heard, a sentence you like, a sentence that bothers you, ALL OF IT. You can either just write it plain or have fun, doodle, add color, just don't TRY. It should be effortless and mindless.

• OBVIOUSLY you can't make all your journaling dreams come true in one day, even a week, and YOU'RE NOT GONNA DO IT EVERY DAY. You don't have to. Just do it when you need.

Interview with released prisoner and cancer patient Mohammad Aklouk, who had been detained since the start of the war. Mohammad describes the horrific conditions of his detainment, including the small, oppressive cell windows and the inability to see sunlight. The repression units frequently ordered prisoners to drop to the ground and brutally beat them. Mohammad emotionally recalls a fellow prisoner, Mohammad Al-Kahlout from Jabalia, who was struck in the head and died in his arms. Aklouk is one of 70 prisoners who were released on June 11th 2024 through the Zikim crossing west of Beit Lahia currently staying in Kamal Adwan Hospital.
