That unsettling feeling of seeing something beyond yourself, beyond your sense of consciousness and knowing that this could very well be your grave.

It’s a labyrinth of feelings, of misery, of regret, and wanting that traps its victims in a forever.

You know what else is unsettling?

Death.

Death and ghosts and everything beyond it.

So imagine with me then, that the Infinite Realms and those ecto-born and ecto-contaminated don’t see the ghosts the same way.

Amity Park and its residents see the invading ghosts as close to their real form in life as they are in death.

Those not touched by the Infinite?

They see them the same way as witches. Unnatural creatures that unsettles the mind and environment to allow the ghosts access to the living world.

Maybe that’s why Maddie and Jack Fenton do not see ghosts as sentient things. They have seen them as humans see them, things filled with misery and pain, stealing from those too foolish to wander in the Ghosts domain.

The GIW are much the same, seeing the ghosts as the ‘witches’ they are, not what they were.

Danny doesn’t realize how unsettling he truly is, no one in Amity Park baring the Fenton parents and the GIW do.

Not until he is summoned on his first official Kingly summon, unaware of the looming gaping horror that stood staring back down at the humans that lived outside of Amity Park.

Across all three realms, Solomon is a sorcerer known to all as fearsome and powerful.

He has a notable amount of demons under pacts with him, and his magical prowess is nothing to laugh at, either.

Some even tell the tale of the sorcerer being able to wage war on the entirety of the Devildom, with only one man, himself, backing his corner.

To his friends and acquaintances, he's an eccentric human with a love for cooking. His love for the act doesn’t mean he’s good at it, though.

Rather than fearing his skills and abilities when it comes to magic, his cooking is the most fearful thing about him.

He’ll serve you food that looks like it’s been made out of poison and objects entirely unfit for making dishes with a handsome, close-eyed smile.

He’s entirely oblivious to the deadly effects that his meals dish out to those who eat it, with his cooking being bad enough to make even the most fearful demons in the Devildom keel over and faint simply by having a taste.

However, known to you, and only you, is a softer side of Solomon not often seen by others. Among every human, demon, angel, reaper, and any other race in this world, you feel as though you’re blessed by the Celestial Realm itself to be the only person to see all of his sides so wholly and so intimately.

As his adorable apprentice (as the sorcerer often calls you,) you’re all too aware of his skill when it comes to magic. In your eyes, he’s stellar, and an amazing teacher. While being his pupil isn’t easy, he makes sure to know that you’re doing well through praise, offering a kiss for every spell you get right, and other rewards that… aren’t exactly age appropriate enough to mention.

Though, you think he enjoys these acts a lot more than you do.

When it comes to domestic things, Solomon is all too elated by the act of cooking for the one he holds most dear. He puts all of his heart and soul into the meals he creates for you, though that doesn’t mean they’re any better. Living with Solomon… is no easy task. Especially when it comes to eating his cooking.

Unfortunately for you, your love for Solomon and the guilt of having to stare at his sad face when you reject his meals overpower your distaste for his cooking, so you grin & bear it, even if you’ll end up with nasty side effects after.

The soft, quiet, and romantic moments with Solomon are what you treasure most.

The ones where you sit, studying together in a comfortable silence, where you simply exist in each other’s presence, feeling the other’s warmth.

The moments where you’re quietly observing his peaceful sleeping face, and the moments where he’s giving you much needed comfort and affection, consoling you without needing to say any words.

It’s heartwarming, and it makes your stomach churn & flutter in a good way.

He once told you that he never had anyone in his life that cared about him so deeply, or anyone to care for in the same way.

Throughout your entire relationship, and for your foreseeable future with him, you make sure to never let him feel that way ever again.

It’s a gross underestimate to say that you two only love each other.

What you have with Solomon goes deeper than words can describe, and what you two feel for each other is more than you can express.

It’s why the quiet moments with him are your most treasured.

In each comfortable silence that the two of you share together, no matter when it is or where you are, the both of you know well that there’s a million words (and more) of love and affection being said.

A fun contrast I always find in how Cassandra & Stephanie are perceives is like. Yes, Cassandra is 100% the more dangerous one, unless she's around people like Wonder Woman she is always the most dangerous person in the room.

However, when it comes to who would actually kill somebody its not even really a contest, Stephanie would do 100% do it and is overall the angrier one between the two. Its not obvious on a first glance, but that's what makes it a surprise XD

Absolutely!! The best thing about StephCass is that they're both extremely well-rounded female characters, and their romantic relationship adds to both of them. They're both more than what they seem (as you point out), and they both see that in each other.

A large part of their relationship was both of them being defined by how Bruce saw them, and the struggle of breaking out of that. Cass choosing to continue hanging out with Stephanie, even after Bruce told her not to; Steph helping teach Cass to read, valuing Cass as a friend rather than the weapon Bruce sees; in a lot of ways their relationship is directly in spite of Bruce, who could (in one interpretation) represent the way patriarchy and sexism interferes with feminine relationships. He consistently tried to break them apart, and they consistently held onto each other.

On a meta-textual level, too (as this post hilariously point out), they were constantly being broken up by editorial mandates that tried to take one or both of them down. Yet they persisted, and we're living in an era where they got a series together! Even if you don't ship StephCass, there's something incredibly touching about the way their relationship refused to die. Their camaraderie is a genuine triumph over the men, both in and out of text, that tried to separate them.

Passing as a trans man is a nuanced and complex topic, but one thing I have been noticing as somebody who is a cis-passing (white) trans man is the way I'm treated when there is conflict.

I've noticed that in conflict, people are almost meek around me, willing for me to try working with them up until a woman is involved. When a woman (or, really, anybody who the other party assumes is one) is part of the conflict, they direct all their anger and rage to them. It's fucking insane the way a woman is treated when there is conflict, even if it isn't her fucking fault. These people are fundamental cowards for seeing my manhood as the only reason they can't be openly hostile to me, but it reveals a lot about how a misogynist thinks on an almost primal level.

I'm watching the women and people around me I care about being torn apart by people, and that's unacceptable. I can't sit around to watch it, and I don't want to do that. I need other people to perhaps read this and remember to not stand by if there is something that you can tangibly do to help, even if it's to lend a listening ear or let the person vent.

Like, not as a cute, devil-emoji 😈 i'm-so-naughty-i-steal-chocolate-cake-and-do-weird-sex-acts thing, nor still as a melodramatic, comic-bookish, high-absorptivity-black-fabric, soon-my-death-ray-will-destroy-Metropolis thing, but like.

Actual Evil, as a force that is real and immanent in the world.

Just pointless cruelty inflicted pointlessly by one human being upon another because they've forgotten how to be kind. Just entire systems and machinery of state and ideology brought to bear on the problem of annihilating human lives and maximizing human suffering so that small men can feel powerful. Just humans who have through trauma or conditioning or propaganda shut off their ability to see other humans as fundamentally like them.

Anyways, I joke on here a lot. I get angry on here a lot. They're both just scabs to hide my horror and my despair at the condition of humanity.
