*2 days have passed and Weinlesefest officially starts today! All the booths were ready and set up, everybody had brewed fresh wine and brought it to the festival so they can invite the Anemo God. Keahi and Meraxes had quickly joined the crowd, the human had brought some freshly brewed wine of their own, excited to be able to share it with the Archon but also excited about seeing his beloved again and from the surprise the bard had mentioned before*

Congrats to @primarinite 's The Seekers on winning their first round in @pmd-oc-tourney !! While it would have been nice to have Team Galaxy at least make it beyond their first round, it was very fun to get a taste of what being in a tournament is like, and The Seekers were quite the spectacular team to lose to! Good luck in the rest of the tourney!!

Shifters Book 1(Original Story by DragonLilly)

INTRO

Hello, I am Keahi. In the world I live in, Ether, everyone is born a human. At least, for the first twenty years of their lives they are human. When someone turns twenty, they go through the Shift. What’s the shift you ask? Kinda obvious, isn’t it? Our world is made up of shapeshifters. You have your cliche wolves, big cats of all kinds, birds and bats, marine creatures, faeries, dragons (like me) and even insects. But of course what shapeshifter story would be complete without those who can shapeshift into anything? We call these types of shifters Cloaks but we’ll come back to that. 

At sunset on one’s twentieth birthday, they become shifters. The catch? No one knows what kind of shifter they are until it happens. Some choose to do the change in private but most choose to do it publicly, which is in the town square in our area and it’s held every night unless there is no one turning twenty. Oh, the other catch is no one knows their parents. Since everyone changes into a different type of shifter, parents choose not to keep their children. Children are raised in a community home, which is typically run by a group of primate shifters. Shapeshifters always move into communities of their own type of shapeshifters. Since there are so many types of shifters, it’s easy to find yourself in a turf war with other species, so finding a community grants you safety. 

I’m sure you’re wondering what happens if you don’t find a community and honestly I have no idea, but I’ll tell you what: I’m about to find out.

Venti had honestly been very, very disappointed when he heard Keahi was going to explore Liyue with Meraxes. He was disappointed enough to turn into his sprite form and bury himself into the bottom of his partner's bag. He really did not seem to deal with separation well...

*Both Meraxes and Keahi had just arrived into Liyue Harbor, they didn’t have to do much walking considering Meraxes flew close to it before landing somewhere and changing back to her human form, just so she doesn’t accidentally scare anybody or make herself look like a threat, even though her dragon wings, horns and tail are visible in her human form*

{“Welp, here we are! Liyue Harbor!”}

*The two of them start walking around, observing the stalls and buildings as Keahi is nervously holding his bag he brought with him close, Meraxes seems to take notice of this*

{“Are you okay, my little python?”}

{“I’m okay, just.. nervous about going to a new place..”}

{“I know how it is, sweetie, I’m nervous too, but this will be a new experience for us and we’re only going to be here for a little while, when we’re done, we’ll head back to Mondstadt!”}

*Meraxes gives Keahi a reassuring pat on the head as they continue to observe everything as they walk by*
