thinking a lot about leverage crossovers and the one currently on my mind is a spy x family one

parker and eliot coincidentally ‘move in’ (set up headquarters) into the empty apartment next to the forgers and immediately clock something really fucking weird is going on.

sophie knows a grift when she sees one and can smell that fake-marriage-fake-family from a mile away

breanna pretends to be a few years younger and gets enrolled as sophie and harry’s adopted child (adoption? THE ELEGANCE!!!). she keeps noticing this one really young girl giving her really obvious stares (that her friend keeps trying to shake her out of doing). breanna knows something is up with that kid but is too busy doing her part of the con to figure out exactly what

hardison (who is back from space) has been spending most of his time as hacker in the apartment set up, shut in so that he doesn’t blow parker and eliot’s cover as newlyweds by randomly coming and going. and the living situation? oh no. it’s only a one bedroom apartment and there’s only one bed and three of them.

it all comes to a head when parker is sneaking through the school at the same time as loid, both so quiet and undetectable that they don’t notice each other until they basically stumble into one another. across the city, eliot is taking out some goons that coincidentally got on the garden’s bad side and yor busts down the door like the kool aid man and they both stare at each other like 😐 (the goons are too stunned and weirded out by the sudden vibes in the room to run away)

from there parker and eliot separately try to convince their counterparts that they should come clean to their partners because, trust me, it’ll be fine it will work out for the best because if there’s one thing they can’t do it’s mind their own business lmao

even after they finish their con hardison isn’t letting them leave until the forgers come clean and realize their true feelings because he’s a romantic like that (like y’all aren’t too, I see you parker and eliot)

anya has no idea what’s going on but is having the time of her life and has now also adopted herself a new crime family

it’s now her turn to match make the ot3 into finally getting together (anya can read your mind eliot, you’re DONE FOR)

In an even prisonier prison, Colin Mockery Mason sees the episode and after the other inmates watch him spend the entire time screaming and freaking out, figure out how to make it play at random wherever he is, because he has that kind of effect on people.

THIS!!! PLEASE THIS!!! Because all I can see in my head is Eliot’s persona being the most fucking INSANE basket case the guys have ever seen, which of course leads to chaos, but we also see the actual Eliot poke through in the randomest fucking places because he just. Forgets/gets frustrated. Which knocks the Fab 5 WILDLY off kilter. I would also LOVE to see JVN try to convince that man to cut his hair. Imagine Antoni trying to teach this man how to cook. Eliot walks into this thinking he’s gonna never see these people after whatever con he and the crew are pulling then walks out with 5 new best friends a la Hurley after having the most INTENSE identity crisis.

Leverage/911 crossover where Eliot is undercover with the 118 and every single member of A Shift has come up to him like:

“Anyone ever tell you that you sound just like this one country singer? I wonder what happened to that guy.”

And

“You look exactly like this baseball player from this local team I saw once in Boston…it’s really uncanny, actually.”

And

“Years ago, I was watching new coverage about this election on this island and there was this reporter…”

Meanwhile, Bobby vaguely thinks that Eliot looks like a wanted fugitive poster he saw once when he was visiting Athena at work. He dismisses the thought because this guy is obviously a firefighter, and a damn good one at that.

Been watching Leverage and reading Percy Jackson fics.

Concept: one of the members of leverage is a half-blood and is trying to hide it from the others.

Except it's all of them. All of them are half-bloods and they all think the other four are mortals.

Cue shenanigans.

Batman / Leverage crossover where the Leverage crew shows up at one of those fancy Gothamite Galas or whatever to take down one of Gotham's rich jerk socialites, and Bruce immediately realizes who they are but also knows their reputation so he just kind of tells the rest of the Batfam to let the Leverage crew do their thing and not get involved.

This *mostly* works, since there's plenty of other crap going down to distract the Waynes, but somehow Damian misses the memo and suddenly Gets Involved. The poor Leverage crew finds themselves having to both take down their rich jerk mark AND babysit this terrifying child.

Nate and Sophie are confused, but roll with it (Sophie LOVES Gotham parties there's always so much DRAMA). Hardison repeatedly comments that he feels like he's the only one noticing all the frankly insane comments Damian is making. Parker thinks Damian is the most delightful child she's ever met and asks his opinions on various increasingly violent hypothetical scenarios (which Damian responds to in depth, much to Hardison's chagrin). Eliot spends most of the episode just kind of staring into the middle distance because he can tell Damian is a trained assassin based on his (very distinctive) body language and like WHAT THE HECK this kid is NINE why is he an ASSASSIN dangit this is why Eliot hates Gotham 50% of Gothamites just know how to kill everything apparently

Damian is impressed by the group's efficiency but also unimpressed with the group's general goofiness (Nate ends up on the receiving end of like five bajillion insults). He goes along with the shenanigans playing the part of a weird but ignorant civilian until the very end where right after the team does The Gloat he walks up to them and says something along the lines of "somewhat passable work, 7/10" before jumping out a window and Eliot just groans.

Afterwards Bruce berates Damian because they really don't want to be on the Leverage crew's radar but Damian doesn't really care since it made the Gala more interesting, and all the rest of the Batkids are rolling on the ground with laughter.

I feel like if they'd had the option, the people making Leverage and Buffy would have fucking loved to do a crossover episode. Hardison doesn't understand why Sunnydale doesn't have wi-fi more powerful than he can generate with a potato, nor why he can use a potato to generate wi-fi. Willow is equally confused as to how he hacked a demon. Nate and Giles hate each other for most of the episode. Xander tries to date Parker, then (correctly) deduces that she's dating Hardison and Eliot, and doubles down on trying to date them too. Sophie and Cordelia are the only ones who acknowledge that each of the two gangs have wildly different magic systems at play. Afterward, everyone just goes "well that was weird right?" and never speak about the blood bank heist again.

Headcanon- Eliot and Jacob Stone are twins but they never saw each other after they turned 17 and both think the other died. Eliot went into service for his country, Jacob stayed with their father and there was a massive accident at a site were they were supposed to be. Eliot assumes Jacob died in the accident which is why his father refuses to talk about Jacob. Jacob never heard back from Eliot after awhile ( government stopped all letter to isolate Eliot from distractions) and assumes he died in service. The best part is when their paths cross but through their contacts. Like Quinn sees Jacob and asks how he and his team are doing and Jacob is so confused. Eliot goes to talk to a professor for help with a con and the professor greats him like an old friend and Eliot is like wtf???

Tempted to check out Dungeon Meshi, if only because I think Eliot Spencer's distinctive combat and culinary skills would make him extra suited to an environment focused on the premise of killing monsters to eat for nourishment and strength (to kill even more monsters)

Leverage & Psych are different but similar fun quirky characters build a family & solve crimes/right wrongs haha

They’re also similar in that they’re both shows where I can multi ship & ot3+ the characters in nearly anyway & it works lol

Usually with most shows I have one or two couples I like maybe they’re canon usually not or there’s a couple of crack ships I’m down for but with these two shows there’s toooooons of possibilities & it might be just me but I don’t care I like it

The romances aren’t the shows centre or focus ir purpose but they’re there & all the cast have chemistry with each other so maybe that explains it

I mean there’s a couple of nopes of potential pair ups in each but there’s so many possibilities

I like the canon couples of Nate/Sophie Shawn/Juliet & Hardison/Parker but also I can 100% believe that Nate & Sterling were hooking up back in the day like I’m into Gus/Shawn or Shawn/Lassie just like I’d go for Eliot & Hardison as a couple (also the episode I’m currently watching has some funny Eliot/Sterling crackship hate sex vibes but that probably because I’m looking for it now I’m talking alternate couple options & I like Sterling annoying everybody on occasion haha)

I could buy Sterling & Maggie as a couple or Parker/Eliot I could also buy Juliet/Lassiter as a couple even though they’re not at all shown as couples on screen

Also a world where Gus & Juliet were a couple & I’m probably one of the few who liked Shawn/Abigail

Then there’s Sophie & Maggie or Parker & Maggie or Sophie & Tara or even Parker & Tara as possible couples & though Psych only has 2 consistent female characters why not pair them for Juliet/Karen? It all works for me

Eliot/Parker/Hardison are a OT3 & Psych basically made Gus/Shawn/Juliet as OT3 canon with “will you marry us” also for Leverage I could have bought into Sophie/Nate/Maggie as a throuple too

I kind of wish both teams could have met

I wonder what a Leverage & Psych crossover would have looked like
