so like,why aren't they just corpses?

we need more realistic corpse vampire anotomy!

so i did some research (very little) and i got some HCs

tw: corpses obviously, very gross stuff

vampires who weren't completely drained out in their turning, would have dark veins because the blood in their veins is 1) not supplied by oxygen 2) their blood marbled ,all the HB has been broken down due to bacteria

the rigor mortis that vin mentioned above happens when they haven't fed for awhile

when the eyes lose oxygen and their cornea of their eyes their eyes would be cloudy, because even when they breathe the air is just coming in and out, because they don't need to

toughened leather like skin that dries easily and so cracks and peels off yes they heal quick but they hate to be cracking all day so they moisturize religiously ,of the vampire had more fat on their body, their skin might feel like soap/wax, because that also happens

i think we sorta agreed on this before, sterile vamps,cold/room temp body fluids

Hi it's the tooth positivity guy again. I worded this poorly but then the post blew up too much to go back and properly make amends, so here is a new post

If you can't take care of your teeth properly, or just straight-up don't, or whatever, that is also okay! ADHD, sensory shit, poor muscle coordination, allergies, ect. all of that are valid and you are also valid and should not be made fun of for your teeth!

And yes, teeth ARE naturally yellow or grey. The white-thing is, apparently, a very American-centric thing that can actually damage your teeth more, based on what I'm learning in the tags, so yeah, extra fuck that.

Make peace with all teeth. That is all. You all are beautiful, have beautiful smiles, and you should not ever feel ashamed at the prospect of showing joy to others. I love you.

Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend : A Gravity Falls Au

I swear I'm never gonna try to render AGAIN this shit sucks. Anyways here's a character sheet I did for an older teen Pacifica Northwest for an au I may or may not be planning on. The text is blurry as fuck (sorry) so I'll add some clarifications under cut.

After the events of Weirdmageddon she's pretty much been the “breadwinner��� of the family and her father HATES it. They keep having fights about how she is ruining the family legacy for working in a rundown mill and associating herself with the poor. Her parents still have money... sort of lol. However, they've been looked down on by the rest of the Northwest family for losing their house to the old kook (Fiddleford my beloved <3). So her mother stays at home drinking her beauty away as her father gets into mysterious business in gaining more fortune. And it doesn't help that the family is under investigation. The fights always ends with Pacifica running out of the house and into the forest to be alone. She likes doing this as a way to get away from her family and let her frustrations out.

Anyways, even if she doesn't “need” to work at the diner, Pacifica still does to have money on her own so she could leave for California. She and the twins are very close now and she was hoping to live near them so she wouldn't be totally alone. Dipper gave her a pocket knife for protection and Mabel gave her stickers before they left last summer. She still has Tiffany and Charlotte to go partying, but she also hangs out with Candy and Greta. Lazy Susan also looks out for the girl and often encourages her studies. Pacifica sees her as a mom more than anything, confiding and relating to her about teen life.

The only reason she chose to work at the diner, however, is because she feels waitressing is the only job she deserves to have. Pacifica doesn't believe herself to be intelligent or even worthy of having good things in her life. It's only after when Fiddleford offers her a job she starts to overcome her depression and realize her worth with the help of her friends, Lazy Susan, Fiddleford, and the older twins. (Also weird, silly monster shenanigans happens at the same time. Because it's truly not Gravity Falls without them.)
